Cassy Reign Salvacion- The only child of the feared businessman, Caden Salvacion. She's the black sheep, headstrong, and rebellious. The only way to straighten her out is to marry her off to the billionaire son of his Daddy's friend, Ulysses Grey Herrera, 33 years old, owner of famous hotels, restaurants, and a large hacienda. The man she dreams of will become her husband. Cassy didn't hesitate to agree to the fix marriage because she's been in love with Ulysses from the start... And just when she straightens out, a woman from Ulysses' past appears, and he's ready to leave Cassy and go back to her.

Chapter 1 1

Spoiled brat, stubborn, hard-headed. She's always giving a hard time to her parents.

"This is too much, Cassy!" Caden said, frustration evident in his voice. "Are you really not going to straighten up, huh?"

"Caden, please, d-don't shout at our daughter like that," Liana said, tears welling up in her eyes.

"And what should we do with that girl?! She's already 22, and yet, she's still in her first year of college! And worst of all, she failed all her subjects! My God! She's a disgrace to the family! She's the black sheep!"

"Caden, please? Don't be too harsh to our daughter."

"Child, why did you-"

"Mom, I'm sorry. I-I shouldn't have joined that raid, I just happened to go with my friends to that bar."

"That's my point, dear. Why do you hang out with people like them who have no direction-"

"Mom, please...? Even you?"

"I'm just reminding you, dear. Honestly, I'm losing hope that you'll ever straighten out your life."

I just sighed. I'm getting scolded every day. Yeah, my parents are nice, but I want my freedom.

"Mom, I'll be going out tonight."

"You have class tomorrow, right?"

"Yeah, I'll come home early too."

"We'll talk tomorrow with your Dad, so be home early after school, okay?"

"Yeah," I lazily replied.

I'm really feeling lazy. My professor is going to scold me again because I haven't been to class for almost a week, which my parents don't know about. Oh well, it doesn't matter since I won't pass anyway. My life is so enjoyable... hanging out with friends, shopping, clubbing. I have my own money. Mom always puts money in my card. I'll start getting ready because later we're going to the club.

As I got ready, I couldn't shake off the feeling of frustration and guilt. Deep down, I knew my parents were right. I was wasting my potential, squandering the opportunities they worked so hard to provide for me. But the allure of freedom and the thrill of the nightlife seemed irresistible. Each night out offered an escape from the mounting pressure and expectations at home and school. Yet, with each passing day, the weight of disappointment in my parents' eyes grew heavier, casting a shadow over my moments of fleeting joy. Despite their constant admonitions and pleas, I couldn't bring myself to break free from the cycle of recklessness and defiance.

Chapter 2 2

I woke up early to get ready for school and went straight to the kitchen, mommy and daddy were already eating when I arrived.

"Oh, Cassy baby come on"-said mommy

I sat down lazily and put a piece of toasted bread on my plate and poured some juice.

"By the way, Cassy, go home early and don't go anywhere because your friend, my business partner, and his mother are going to be here for dinner," said daddy.

"So?" I answered with raised eyebrows

"Get well you kid!" said daddy angrily

"What are you two doing in front of the food?" mommy said to us

"Son, please come home early" - begged mommy

"Okay" I didn't want to answer

I ate quickly and immediately stood up and kissed mommy and daddy..

"Bye mom, dad"

I'm still not allowed to bring a car because daddy doesn't want me to get a license because he knows I'm always in the street. Actually, I know how to drive. Mario, our family driver, just drove me, I think I came to school early. I went to my room and waited there until the class started. I took a nap. Maybe he was in the room also Kelly, Jane and Bea.

I woke up to the noise of my classmate.. later our professor came..

"Miss Salvacion?" Prof. called me

"Yes, sir?"

"Really, after one week that you didn't come in and ask, where are your parents?" my prof said angrily.

I winced and didn't say anything, my classmates were looking at me, the f*ck!

"Get out! I will not accept you! Bring your parents so I can talk to them!" He said angrily.

No, I took my bag and went out.. I just texted my friends that I'm going home. they asked why and I also told them the reason, I just took a taxi home.

I saw mommy and daddy in the living room watching TV. What I know is that every Monday daddy takes a break from work at our company.

"How is your morning, son?" mommy said in surprise.

"I was not accepted in my prof's class mommy" I reported.

"Really? Or because you did something stupid again? What are your plans for your life, Cassy huh?!!" daddy said angrily.

"Daddy, why don't you accept me, you and mommy need to go there"

Daddy looked at me angrily. I said goodbye to rest first. I didn't realize that I slept for a long time, it was almost four in the afternoon. I fixed myself and went downstairs because I felt hungry. I saw mommy busy preparing, along with the two helpers.

"Hi baby, eat your lunch, I didn't wake you earlier because you slept so well" said mommy smiling

"What's wrong mom?"

"Remember, we have a dinner later, your daddy's friend will be here later and I want me to cook so they can taste my recipe and you should be around 6:30, that's arranged because they will be here later.

I nodded lazily and just got some food and went back to my room. I just watched movies and around 5:30pm I got dressed for bathing. I chose to wear a simple white dress, above the knee length. I relaxed I just did my hair and put a little blush on and lip gloss. I heard a knock on the door and I was told to come down because our guests have arrived.

"Oh, our Unica hija is here," said daddy with a smile.

I sat next to mommy, and I was very surprised that the person of my dreams, Ulysses, was in front of me.

"Hija, your Uncle Gray and your Aunt Faye, and their only child is Ulysses" mommy promised with a smile

"Your daughter Liana is beautiful" said aunt Faye

"So, we can talk now the wedding?" said uncle Gray suddenly

"What!!!" I said in shock

"We will marry you to Ulysses," said daddy

"Dad!? seriously?!"

"Hija, even if you and Ulysses get married you can continue your studies" Uncle Clark said smiling at me.

I didn't understand anything else they were saying. I was confused of course. I looked at Ulysses as if it was okay with him that we get married.

"So the wedding held on next month, just only a few family and friends" said aunt Faye

"Its okay to you, Ulysses?" asked daddy

"No problem, Uncle" he answered with a smile

"Hija, take Ulysses to the Garden and talk about your marriage" said daddy with a threatening look.

As I sat there stunned by the sudden bombshell of an arranged marriage, I felt a mix of disbelief and anger swirling within me. How could my parents decide my future without even consulting me? I stole a glance at Ulysses, whose calm demeanor didn't betray any indication of objection or enthusiasm. Did he have any say in this matter at all?

Reluctantly, I stood up, my heart pounding with every step I took towards the garden, where my fate was apparently to be discussed. Ulysses followed silently, his presence adding to the weight of the situation. We sat on the bench, surrounded by the fragrant blooms and the soft glow of evening light.

"I... I can't believe they're doing this," I began, struggling to find the right words. "I mean, do you even want this, Ulysses?"

He looked at me, his expression unreadable for a moment before he sighed softly. "Honestly, Cassy, I don't know. This is all so sudden and unexpected. But my parents seem to think it's a good idea for our families."

His words only fueled my frustration. "But what about what we want? What about our dreams and aspirations? Do they mean nothing in the face of their plans?"

Ulysses reached out and took my hand, his touch surprisingly comforting amidst the chaos of emotions. "I understand, Cassy. And I promise to support you, whatever you decide. We can figure this out together, okay?"

His sincerity touched me, and for the first time since this whirlwind began, I felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, there was a way out of this predicament, a path where our voices could be heard and our choices respected.

With determination burning in my chest, I looked into Ulysses' eyes and nodded. "Okay. Let's do this. Together."

Chapter 3 3

"Hija, take Ulysses to the Garden and talk about your marriage" said daddy with a threatening look.

I stood up lazily and Ulysses followed me. I sat down and looked at him. He just raised an eyebrow at me.

Why did you agree to marry me?" I asked

"There's any problem? It's just marriage, right? I need to marry you cause to maintain our family business, besides, your daddy said that you will grow up and after marriage you should continue your studies in the province. We will live there in don't like it and like it, your life style will be changed."

"Hey, I don't like your thickness, it's okay."

"I'll follow you Cassy and I'm sure you'll enjoy it there and we'll have our honeymoon there too" he promised with a smile

"And if you ever get pregnant, it's okay, but if you want to finish your study, you need to use pills and last school and house only, No Party, okay?"

And suddenly he stood up and went back inside. He's really going to get me pregnant. Am I still going to refuse? All that pretending that I don't want it is just me acting. I didn't think it would be in my hands and become my wife that women fantasize about. I'm sure I'm jealous, my friends.. maybe a lot of people will change me when I got married to a famous business man, Ulysses Gray Herrer.

________________

As Ulysses retreated into the house, leaving Cassy alone in the garden, a whirlwind of conflicting emotions swept through her. The weight of her father's expectations hung heavy on her shoulders, intertwining with the unsettling realization of her impending marriage to Ulysses, a man she barely knew. She couldn't shake off the feeling of being trapped in a life not of her own choosing, bound by familial obligations and societal norms.

As she gazed at the serene beauty of the garden, Cassy's mind wandered to the dreams she had harbored for herself – dreams of independence, of pursuing her passions, of charting her own path in life. Yet, here she was, faced with the stark reality of sacrificing her aspirations for the sake of her family's legacy and financial stability.

The mention of pregnancy and the expectation of conforming to societal roles only added to Cassy's sense of unease. The sudden realization that her autonomy would be further restricted, her body and future dictated by the whims of others, sent a shiver down her spine.

Deep down, Cassy knew that her reluctance to fully embrace her impending marriage wasn't just an act. Despite Ulysses' assurances and promises of a future together, doubts gnawed at her heart. Was she ready to surrender her dreams and desires at the altar of societal expectations? Or would she muster the courage to defy convention and carve out a path of her own, even if it meant facing the disapproval of those around her?

Lost in her thoughts, Cassy couldn't help but wonder if there was still a glimmer of hope for her to reclaim control over her destiny, to rewrite the script of her life in her own terms. But as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the garden, Cassy knew that the answers to her questions would only reveal themselves in time, as she embarked on the tumultuous journey that lay ahead.

"Hey, girl let's get lit" Kelly said

"Okay, where's Bea, Ann and Jane?"

"They are here, so we will pass you there,"

"Sure, I'm dressed, bye".

I heard the car beep. My friends are now waiting outside.. I hurried down, glad Mom and Dad are not here.. I'm about to preach again.

"Omg, its so very exciting what happened last night," Bea said laughing

"How about you Cassy, where did you go last night when the raid happened? Ann asked me.

"I got caught last night, f*ck! Mommy and daddy picked me up at the precinct, so daddy is very angry."

The four of them laughed. I noticed that Jane was quiet. Jane is not like the four of us who are rich. Even though we are this rich, we don't judge Jane. She's just poor, we'll pay her tuition once and she's graduating this year.

"Jane?" I called

"Huh"-Jane

"You have a problem?"

"I'm just afraid that the club we're going to will be raided again." said Jane.

"Oh, come on Jane, we're going to a different club, there are a lot of hunks there" Kelly giggled.

Actually, out of the five of us, Jane is the only one who will graduate from us..Me and Bea are in 1st year, Kelly is in 3rd year and Ann she stopped studying because she was too lazy....

"We are here" shouted Bea

"Omg!, see that? very ready pogi"! Kelly said excitedly.

"Let's go inside" Ann told us

"Let's go Jane," I said

This is so frickin crazy, So many handsome men, this is the most popular club.. famous personalities are here, Celebrities and businessmen, the club is almost full. Ann took a table and ordered our drinks.

"Sh*t, is that Ulysses?" Kelly asked.

"Omg, he's handsome"! Bea said

I was stunned too, Yes, Ulysses Gray Herrer, a famous business man in the Philippines, known as Womanizer, he's Tall, Dark and handsome, he's a greek God. I've fantasized about Ulysses for a long time. I imagine him in my bed, sh*t! but i know his standard is high with women almost models and celebrities are linked to him..I wish I'm one of them ..if I given a chance I want to marry him.yeah thats my impossible dream.

"Let's dance"-Bea

"I'm just here"-Jane

"I'll just go with Jane here first" I said

I was too lazy to dance, the three of you left, Bea, Ann and Kelly. Jane was left behind.

"You don't want to dance?" Jane asked me

"I do not want".

My eyes are still on Ulysses while Jane is busy looking around. Maybe his friends are also with him, because they are all men and they are handsome...I feel pee so I stand up and say goodbye to Jane who is going to the comfort room .the part going to CR is a bit dark. I was busy looking around when I bumped into something hard.

"Watch out"!

I look up nervously and I feel like my world has stopped. ohh...f*cking hell, I look at the handsome face, the gray eyes, the red lips.

"Are you finished?-

"Huh, not yet, Este ..im sorry" I said nervously.

"Next time make sure to look your foot step, then wipe your saliva" he said before suddenly leaving

What is it? Oh my God. Am I drooling?!! It's so embarrassing. Again...!

As I stood there, cheeks burning with embarrassment, I couldn't shake off the encounter with Ulysses Gray Herrer. My mind raced with a mix of awe and mortification. Jane returned from the restroom, unaware of my awkward moment. I brushed it off, not wanting to spoil the night with my embarrassment. Instead, I focused on enjoying the ambiance of the club and the company of my friends. Deep down, though, Ulysses lingered in my thoughts, his image etched vividly in my mind. Little did I know, this chance encounter would ignite a series of events that would change everything.
