Alzena is now sitting pensively in the campus hallway. In his hand was a piece of paper. Alzena was silent as her eyes stared blankly.
His chest felt tight. He must immediately find money to pay the UTK arrears.
"Is it possible for me to take a leave first? Where can I get this much money? Where can I find medicine for mother," muttered Zena.
He seemed to take a deep breath for a moment. Zena finally decided to take time off from college first.
Zena got up from her seat while glancing at the clock on her hand, "It's already 12 o'clock, I have to go home immediately. The Koh Acong stall must be busy."
Zena walked out of campus with unsteady steps. In her heart, Zena felt lonely because on the large campus, she didn't have any friends. Being a poor girl, Zena realized that she was unattractive to the people around her.
Initially Zena had worked while studying, but since her mother, Halimah, fell ill, her life began to decline. Apart from working, he also has to take care of all household needs and pay for college fees and his mother's needs.
This situation makes Zena always late and even in arrears in paying UTK. Zena went home using public transportation while thinking about how hard life was.
When he got home, he immediately changed clothes then visited his mother who was lying weak in the room.
"Mother, how was today?" Zena asked softly while hugging her mother.
"You're home, son?" Halimah replied.
"Yes, ma'am. Have you eaten?" Zena asked, trying to think of a way to solve their problem.
"Yes," answered Halimah briefly.
"Buk, I'm going to the Koh Acong kiosk now, OK," said Zena.
A feeling of worry appeared on Halimah's face, she said, "Be careful, son. I'm afraid, Koh Acong will mess with you."
However, with a glimmer of confidence remaining, Zena denied her mother's worries and said, "No way, Mom. I'll try to take care of myself." Even so, Zena didn't know why her mother always had that anxiety when she was close to Koh Acong.
Zena gently let go of her mother's warm embrace, holding back the emotion that was increasingly gripping her feelings. With determination, he immediately said goodbye and went to the Koh Acong kiosk to start working part time.
"Oh, is there something you want to deliver?" Zena asked as soon as she arrived at the kiosk with unbeatable enthusiasm.
"Yes. It's ready on the side. Don't forget, check the notes and items." Koh Acong reminded him firmly.
"Ready, Koh," answered Zena firmly, immediately turning around and making sure all the orders were correct.
With quick and agile steps, Zena started delivering customers' groceries using Koh Acong's old motorbike. He devoted all his energy to completing these tasks, until just before Maghrib arrived, finally all the orders were completed.
Accompanied by a cloud of evening smoke rising from Koh Acong's cigarette smoke above the kiosk display case, Zena approached Koh Acong gratefully, "Koh, that's all. Here are the motorbike keys," she said as she placed the motorbike keys on the display case.
Koh Acong looked deeply at Zena and asked, "How is Halimah? Is your mother okay?"
"Mother is good, Koh," answered Zena with a face full of love, trying to cover up her worry.
"Hopefully one day I can treat mother and make her recover completely," Zena thought to herself, remembering her mother's prayers which always encouraged her.
For some reason, when talking to Koh Acong, Zena felt very comfortable and relieved. Not without reason, from childhood until now Zena has felt a father's love only from the figure of Koh Acong.
Is this because throughout Zena's life she has always lacked a father figure, and Koh Acong was always there when Zena needed him?
"Halimah is sick again?" Koh Acong asked with a worried face.
"Ah, no Koh. Mom is fine. I hope she doesn't get sick again. Koh, it looks like I'm going on leave from college. I want to raise money for mom's medical expenses," answered Zena.
"You do your best," said Koh Acong wisely.
That night, they chatted while enjoying tea, feeling warm and familiar with each other. Without realizing it, it was time for evening prayers and the Koh Acong shop had to close. Zena decided to go home.
"Koh, let me go home first," said Zena.
"Hey, here's pocket money. For you and Halimah, buy meatballs," said Koh Acong with a gentle face.
Koh Acong handed Zena a green bill, which immediately glowed. Zena felt happy as if it were beyond measure.
"Wow, I can buy mom a delicious dinner," muttered Zena with a big smile.
Hearing Zena's words, Koh Acong also laughed out loud. That's the feeling of comfort, relief and happiness that Zena always feels when she is with Koh Acong. At least, there are people who care about him and his mother even though they are not related by blood.
Zena went home feeling happy. When he got home, he immediately washed his feet and hands in the bathroom at the back of the house. After that, he met his mother in the room.
"Mother. What do you want to eat tonight?" Zena asked kindly.
Halimah, who had closed her eyes, immediately opened her eyes slowly.
"Zena, I'm not hungry. You eat first," said Halimah, lying.
Actually, now he is slumped and helpless. Halimah feels very down right now. Only Zena is always beside him.
"Okay, let's make it quick, let's just buy Javanese bakmi ahead," said Zena enthusiastically.
"It's up to you, son," said Halimah.
Zena immediately turned around and walked towards the Bakmi Jowo stall in front of her house.
Meanwhile, Halimah looked gloomy. He was remembering his very painful love story. That's the main factor that made him the success he is today.
"Mas, if we were together, it wouldn't be like this," muttered Halimah.
Halimah was hit by a stroke, and she couldn't even do anything alone. He could only shed tears.
So, in the morning, Zena prepared all the food beside the bed, there was a small table that was used to store food. Meanwhile, to defecate, Halimah always uses adult-sized diapers.
Meanwhile, Zena was turning around because she had already bought dinner for her and her mother. Even if it's just a plate of fried rice for two.
When Zena came home, she immediately took cutlery to eat together with her mother.
"Mother, let's eat first," said Zena enthusiastically as she opened the package of fried rice.
He also painstakingly fed spoonful after spoonful of g to his mother. Halimah also felt very happy to be treated in such a way as her own daughter.
"How lucky, I have Zena. Even though I had to lose her father, I am still grateful that I have Zena with me," thought Halimah as she enjoyed bite after bite that Zena gave her.
Zena finally decided to take time off from college. Now he can focus on working at the Koh Acong kiosk from morning to evening. Like that day, Zena was enthusiastic about working.
Zena works very deftly and very actively. Until finally, at noon Zena went home as usual to feed Halimah.
"Koh, I'll go home first," said Zena.
"Oh, be careful," said Koh Acong
On the way home, Zena felt bad. He started to speed up his steps.
Zena ran home panting. For a moment she didn't pay attention to anything around her, Zena's thoughts were only focused on her mother who was at home, alone.
His anxiety was getting worse, "What is happening to Mother? Why does this feeling keep haunting me?" Zena thought.
As soon as she arrived home, without hesitation Zena walked quickly towards her mother's room.
His heart was pounding hard, it felt like there was a pressing wind bringing unwanted news. How shocked Zena was when she saw Mrs. Halimah's body lying pale and helpless on the bed.
"Mother... Oh God, what happened to Mother?" Zena shouted frantically, shaking Mrs. Halimah's body, trying to wake her up.
But there was no reaction from his mother. Panic increasingly overtook Zena, she immediately left the house to seek help from the nearest neighbor. Tears began to flow freely, indicating the fear and pain that Zena felt.
"Mother, Zena only has mother, don't go," he whispered to himself.
Not long after, Mrs. Halimah was taken to hospital with the help of neighbors. On the way, Zena kept crying and begging her mother to be strong. Upon arrival at the hospital, Halimah's mother immediately received emergency treatment, while Zena waited anxiously, sitting cross-legged in front of the emergency room hallway.
His mind kept imagining the worst thing that could happen to his mother, hopes and fears chased each other in his heart.
Not long after, Koh Acong arrived at the scene. The man of Chinese descent had narrow eyes and a sturdy body, walking quickly towards Zena.
"Zena, how is your mother?" asked Koh Acong in a concerned tone.
Zena turned to Koh Acong, trying to hide the tears that were welling up in her eyes again.
"Koh, mother is being handled inside," answered Zena in a choked voice.
Koh Acong nodded.
"Okay, let's wait for the doctor to come out and tell us what happened to your mother," he said in a soft voice, trying to calm Zena.
Zena was only able to nod weakly, then the two of them sat down not too close. Zena felt awkward being around Koh Acong, but also felt grateful for the man's concern. Not long after, a doctor came out of the emergency room and was immediately confronted by Zena and Koh Acong.
"Doc, how is my mother?" Zena asked, feeling panic mixed with hope.
The doctor explained that Zena's mother had to undergo intensive treatment because she was suspected of having a heart attack. He suggested immediately installing a heart ring so that the condition did not get worse.
"How much does it cost to install a heart ring, doc?" Zena asked.
"For that, ask the administration department, you also have to complete the administration for the next few days. Because the patient must receive intensive care," said the doctor.
"Okay doc." Zena suddenly felt weak.
"Okay, then, I'll excuse myself," said the doctor.
Now Zena's body feels like she has no bones. He felt very weak. In his mind, where would he find money for his mother's care.
'Where else should I get money? Even now I have to search in very large quantities,' thought Zena, crying.
Koh Acong understood what Zena was thinking. He approached the girl who was gloomy and confused.
"Zen, for the maintenance costs for a few days, I will help you borrow it. Later, if you have money, you can replace the money with me," said Koh Acong.
"Seriously?" Zena asked.
Koh Acong smiled while nodding his head.
"Now we're going to administration. We're paying for Halimah's treatment. As for the cost of installing the ring, you can look for it slowly later." Acong rubbed Zena's shoulder gently to give strength to the girl who was always suffering.
"Why, why is Acong so good?" Zena asked.
"Ask Halimah. When she recovers," answered Koh Acong.
Now the two of them walked towards the administration counter. After paying some money for Halimah's treatment for the next few days, the two of them were sitting in the lobby.
"Koh, can I ask you a favor?" Zena asked doubtfully.
"What? Say."
"Koh, I'll leave mom for a moment. I'll look for money to pay for installing the ring. That's if Acong doesn't mind," Zena said hesitantly and started to look down.
"Okay, go. Oe will look after Halimah," said Koh Acong.
"Thank you, Koh," said Zena.
Koh Acong just nodded and smiled. He felt happy that he had been able to make the girl smile again. Zena left the hospital. He walked here and there erratically. He visited all the shops to ask about job vacancies. But all to no avail.
"Where else should I look?" Zena muttered.
Under the scorching hot sun, he wiped the sweat from his forehead. He didn't care about his sweaty body anymore.
Zena saw a crowd of people filming a film.
"Shall I just ask what work there is?
"It seems like a lot of people are busy there," said Zena.
Zena walked towards the shooting location. There he saw everyone was very busy. He also approached one of the people who didn't seem very busy.
"Excuse me," said Zena.
"What's wrong? We're not accepting autographs. Our Helena is busy!" The man seemed to answer curtly.
"Is there a job opening for me?" Zena asked.
"Nothing. Go, go." Throw out the man named Edrik.
But suddenly Edrik couldn't believe what he saw. 'Lena? Is he undercover? That face is very similar to Helena's.' thought Edrik.
Edrik immediately rushed into the make-up room to confirm his vision.
"Lena. Have you been here since?" Endik asked.
"Yes. Make up isn't finished yet. Why?" Helena asked.
"Noting," replied Edrik confused.
Edrik left the make-up tent again. He looked around again, looking for Zena's whereabouts. But he couldn't find a girl whose face was very similar to the star.
"Could it be that I'm hallucinating?" Endrik asked.
He shook his head again, trying to continue the activities he had put off.
Meanwhile, Zena was sitting on the sidewalk not far from the shooting location. From a distance you can see a grandmother crossing the road. However, from another direction there was a motorbike speeding towards the grandmother.
"Grandma. Watch out for the motorbike!" Zena immediately shouted.
Zena immediately ran to avoid an accident. Luckily, Zena managed to save the grandmother. However, both of them fell, Zena's hand was hit by the hot and sharp asphalt.
"Ao..." Zena screamed in pain.
"Son, are you okay? Sorry, grandma wasn't careful," said the grandmother.
Zena tried to get up from her fall. He seemed to grimace and hold his hand which felt very sore.
"It's okay, Grandma. Is Grandma hurt?" Zena asked while observing the grandmother's feet and hands.
"Thank God, grandma is okay. Your hand was injured," said grandma.
The motorcyclist immediately started his motorbike again, leaving the two of them behind. Meanwhile, Zena and the grandmother moved to sit on the edge of the garden. The grandmother seemed to be observing the wound on Zena's hand.
"This must really hurt," said the grandmother while blowing on Zena's wound.
"It doesn't matter, Grandma. Who are you with Grandma here? Where are you going?" Zena asked.
"I was with my driver, he was there," said Grandma.
"It's safe, Grandma. Then, I have to go back, Grandma. Is it okay if my grandmother stays?" Zena asked.
"Where are you going, kid?" Grandma asked.
But before Zena had time to answer, she had already turned around and left Grandma again.
From a distance, the grandmother's private driver could be seen running hastily. Alex, the driver, had already passed Zena. But his eyes seemed unable to move away from Zena who was grimacing in pain.
"Lex, do you know who that girl is?" Grandma asked.
"Yes, ma'am. She is Helena, a top artist who is filming there," said Alex while pointing towards the shooting location.
Coincidentally, Zena ran in that direction. Grandma Leona also watched Zena who had passed. Not long after, Grandma smiled.
"She is a very kind and polite girl. I want her to be my granddaughter, she really suits Sam," muttered Grandma Leona while smiling.
Grandma got up from her seat, she was helped by Alex to walk to her car. As soon as he got into the car, he immediately asked Alex to go straight home.
"Aren't we going to the office?" Alex asked.
"No. I want to meet my grandson soon. I can't wait to meet Sam." Grandma smiled just at the thought of Sam marrying Zena.
However, it turns out that Grandma and Alex misunderstood Zena. Because Zena is actually just a poor girl who doesn't really understand the world of entertainment. Meanwhile, Grandma Leona and Alex thought that Zena was a top artist who was filming.
Wicitra Sam Surya, she is Grandma Liona's only grandchild. A cold man who has never been touched by media rumors about his closeness to a woman. Sam, always appears on the screen with the achievements he has built. Not with all the gossip that made him famous.
Oma Liona, was a British nobleman who later married a native and had a son named Wicitra Wirya. He is Sam's father, who is often called Wirya.
Not long after, Alex had parked his car in front of the Wicitra family palace. Grandma Liona immediately got out of the car and swung her feet towards the magnificent house which had been the residence of the Wicitra family when they came to their homeland.
"Mother? Why didn't you come and give news?" Virya asked.
Wirya, who was sitting in front of the TV at that time, immediately rushed to shake hands and kiss the back of his mother's palm, not forgetting to immediately hug and kiss her left and right cheeks alternately.
"Is it true that if you come, you have to get permission first?" asked Grandma Liona.
"Well, not really, but I can pick up Mama," said Wirya.
The two of them are now sitting in the living room. Even though Wirya is old, he is very spoiled by his mother.
"No need to pick me up. Mom has already been picked up by Alex," said Grandma.
"How does Alex know that mom is coming home?" Wirya asked in surprise.
"Yes, because Alex is Mama's confidant," said Grandma Liona with a smile.
"You guys are like that, aren't you? Do you want to play secret games with me?" Wirya asked in a sulky tone.
"No, Mama just came to see Sam's wedding. Mama has found the right partner for Sam," said Grandma Liona.
"Mama, are you serious? Is the two-door refrigerator getting married?" asked Wirya, very surprised.
"Yes, he is your son. Don't be like that. Refrigerator, it's also because of your wife's actions that he is cold to women." Grandma Liona stared sharply at Wirya.
Wirya could only remain silent when his mother disturbed his past.
"Who is the woman who can conquer Sam?" Virya asked.
"Artist, she is very beautiful, in fact she is very famous. Earlier she was probably disguised as a gembel so her appearance was very messy."
Grandma Liona also told what happened to her, Wirya was very grateful when she heard the story from her mother.
"Now where is Sam?" asked Grandma Liona.
"Where else if not at the office," said Wirya.
"Okay, I'll wait for the kid to come home. Actually, I was going to the office, but I don't know why I really want to go home." Grandma Liona smiled at her son.
"Mama, let's go for a walk together," said Wirya.
"You spoiled child," said Grandma Liona.
Grandma Liona is very close to Wirya. Since his son was still young, now both of them got up from their seats. Wirya took Grandma Liona and walked towards the back of the luxurious house. There they sat while looking at the rose garden which had started to bloom and smell good.
"You don't want to get married again?" asked Grandma Liona.
"No Ma, I'm just going to see my son's wedding. I no longer have the desire to get married," said Wirya.
"Why? Are you traumatized?" asked Grandma.
"It's not just trauma, I no longer believe in love. I just want to enjoy life with you," said Wirya.
"Your ex-wife, how are you?" asked Grandma.
"I don't know, Mom. You had the wrong address if you asked me that," said Wirya.
"Who knows, you still like to poke fun at your ex-wife's social media accounts," said Grandma.
"Mama, it's like I'm still a young person," said Wirya.
The two of them chatted at length, the two children and mother were very close.
"How are the companies in England? If Mama stays for a long time, is that okay?" Virya asked.
"It's no problem, John is there who will handle it all," said Grandma Liona.
John, is the son of Grandma Liona's marriage to her second husband. Wirya's father, Raharjo, died when Wirya was two months old. It wasn't until she married Thomas two years later that John was born from her second marriage.
"How are you Papa Thomas?" Virya asked.
"Okay, he's better. At first he wanted to go back to Indonesia, but I forbade him. Because he hasn't recovered properly," said Grandma.
"Yes, it's better to let papa get better first, if I have time, I'll visit papa," said Wirya.
"Yes, he really misses you more than Maam," protested Grandma Liona.
Wirya smiled. Wirya never had the chance to meet and get to know his biological father. For Wirya, Papa Thomas is his true father even though he is not his biological father.
"John is sometimes jealous. He often asks, whose son is Papa Thomas? But he never gets angry now that he knows everything. In fact, he feels very proud to have a Papa who loves his children," said Grandma Liona.
"No wonder Jhon is jealous," said Wirya, laughing.
They talked about many things again, from funny things that happened in the past to bitter things. Not long after, there was the roar of a car in front of the magnificent house.
"That's Sam coming home. Are you home at this time?" Virya asked.
Hearing that, Grandma Liona immediately rushed towards the terrace with impatient steps. Meanwhile Wirya followed from behind.
"I'm going to give Sam a surprise, he'll be very happy to see me come." Grandma spoke enthusiastically.
Not long after, Sam saw Grandma Liona walking towards him. Suddenly, he immediately ran and hugged Grandma Liona.
"Grandma, when are you coming? Why didn't you tell me? I can pick you up at the airport." Sam immediately hugged Grandma Liona.
"Grandma just came. Don't you like Grandma coming?" Asked Grandma Liona.
"It's been since this morning, how are you?" Sam asked.
Sam was happy to see his beloved Grandma's arrival, he immediately hugged and kissed the back of Grandma Liona's palm. Grandma's presence always gives Sam encouragement, makes him feel calm and comfortable.
"Sam, do you have a girlfriend?" Asked Grandma Liona.
Bab 4.
The two of them walked towards the living room, Sam's hand never leaving Grandma Liona's. Grandma had talked about something that made Sam a little awkward.
"Oma. Why are you discussing this again? Sam doesn't want to have a girlfriend. Sam doesn't want to be hurt." Sam refused.
Sam shows annoyance at Grandma. However, Grandma just smiled understandingly and asked Sam to sit beside her. Grandma knows what it's like to have a broken heart, but she also knows that love is full of mystery and cannot be avoided.
"Sam, turn on the TV," asked Grandma.
Sam deftly immediately turned on the television. The two of them sat together in the living room, enjoying their time together as if to get rid of the previous annoyance in Sam's heart.
Meanwhile, Wirya, not long after, followed and sat next to his mother, they were all finally able to enjoy being together in the midst of their respective activities.
"Sam, look at that woman. She's beautiful, she's kind too," said Grandma when she saw Helena advertising a beauty product.
"Hmm." That was Sam's only reaction when he saw the female model he hated the most.
"I hate her, but Grandma doesn't even know why. That woman, who has ruined friendship, even love can ruin everything," Sam thought angrily.
"How can Grandma want me to have a relationship with that woman?" Sam asked.
"Sam, she is a very sweet woman, Oma met her earlier. When Oma wanted to cross the road, Oma was about to be hit by a car, but luckily, the girl saved Oma," said Grandma Liona while looking at her beloved granddaughter.
"So, as a token of her gratitude, Grandma wants to set me up with that woman?" Sam asked.
"Not like that, Sam. Grandma just likes him," said Grandma Liona.
"Then, Grandma will just marry him," said Sam, trying to express his annoyance in a sarcastic tone.
Sam got up from his seat while grumbling in annoyance.
"Why does Grandma have to try to set me up with a woman I don't like the most? Does she not know or even care about my feelings?" Sam thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Omah was just wondering when he saw his grandson leave without saying goodbye.
"Sam, where are you going?" Asked Grandma Liona.
"Sam wants to meet Jerry." Sam shouted without looking at his Grandma.
He tries to hide his true emotions, so as not to disappoint the innocent Oma in this story.
Meanwhile, Grandma Liona was in the living room with Wirya.
"What do you think?" asked Grandma Liona curiously.
"In my opinion, it all depends on Sam's decision. But, Sam will definitely consider Mama's opinion too," answered Wirya with a smile.
"Does Sam want to be matched?" asked Grandma Liona again.
"I don't know, Grandma. Maybe you can try it first," suggested Wirya.
In another room, Sam sat in his study. He felt angry, then took the cellphone that was in his pocket. Immediately, Sam called Jerry as he had promised Grandma Liona. Not long after, the call was connected.
Currently Sam is talking to Jerry on the phone.
"Jer, is it true that Grandma wants to set me up with Helena?" Sam asked in a worried tone.
"Helena, the adult magazine model?" Jerry tried to confirm.
Jerry is not just an assistant, but is considered by Sam to be his confidant.
"Are you serious? Helena is famous for frequently changing boyfriends. Are you really sure that Grandma wants to match you?" Jerry asked in a skeptical tone, showing his worry about Grandma Liona's decision.
At the same time, Sam felt confused, he didn't expect Grandma Liona to match him with Helena, who had that reputation. Now, Sam is in a dilemma, he wants to find happiness but feels doubtful about Grandma Liona's decision.
"That's why. I'm not sure about Grandma either." Sam looked deep in thought.
"Then what are you going to do?" Jerry asked.
Sam felt like he was at the end of a dead end. If Grandma has decided on something, it's usually hard to refuse it. For a moment Sam was silent, trying to find a way out of this problem.
"How about you first follow what Grandma wants?" suggested Jerry.
"Then? Should I marry a woman like Helena?" Sam asked in a slightly low tone.
"At least, you can make him suffer even more. You just put forward conditions that will make him refuse," continued Jerry.
Sam started to think that maybe this was the best way to solve this problem.
"Okay, I'll do it," answered Sam firmly.
They both took a deep breath for a moment. The call was disconnected. Sam came back out of his study.
"Are you sure you want to set me up with Helena?" Sam asked as he came out of the study.
"Do you want it?" Grandma asked enthusiastically.
Sam's heart felt heavy, but he tried to hide it.
"As long as Grandma is happy, what else can I do?" he answered while smiling wryly.
"Okay, then, Grandma will immediately prepare everything from now on," said Grandma Liona very enthusiastically.
Wirya also looked confused when he saw his son without putting up any resistance or refusal. Meanwhile, Sam just shook his head seeing his Grandma so enthusiastic.
"We'll see. I will do something so that the wild woman will reject this match," thought Sam.
"Is it better for Grandma to send a letter or go directly to Helena's parents' house?" he asked. Grandma Liona was excited.
"It's up to you, mom, what you want," said Wirya.
"Okay, I'll take Alex," said Grandma Liona as she got up from her seat.
Wirya and Sam just looked at each other. They were surprised by Grandma Liona's behavior.
"Grandma, why does it have to be Alex?" Sam asked.
"Grandma would rather chat with Alex, he doesn't like you." Grandma turned and left the living room.
"You woman. It's always like that. I wish she wasn't my uncle. I've already left her." Sam grumbled as he picked up the car ignition that was on the table.
"Sam. Where are you going?" Virya asked.
"I want to go out, Dad. Maybe I want to meet Jerry," said Sam.
"Is your friend only Jerry? Nobody else?" Wirya asked while laughing.
"Sometimes it's more comfortable when you're no longer friends or in a relationship with a woman." Sam answered dryly.
Wirya was surprised to hear what Sam said.
"Sam. Are you not normal?" Virya asked.
"Dad. I'm normal. I'm just a reflection of you. Aren't you also anti-women now?" Sam asked.
Wirya was silent. He just realized that all this time Sam had been imitating him a lot.
"Helena, don't forget, after this there is a photo shoot at HOT magazine," said Edrik.
"Yes." Helena only answered briefly.
"As usual, Saturday and Sunday schedule, you are free," said Edrik.
"Hey, find out a schedule, who will I be with tomorrow Saturday and Sunday?" Helena asked.
"Wait a moment." Edrik appeared to be opening a note.
On the table lay a note containing several lists of Helena's dating partners. Currently, Helena is sitting in the makeup room contemplating, having just finished filming and preparing to go home.
"How did I get to this point?" Helena muttered to herself.
"Next Saturday, you will be with Antonio, a man from Germany who happens to be on holiday in Indonesia," said Edrik, her assistant and friend, diverting Helena's attention.
"Good, I hope you get a lot of money," said Helena in an enthusiastic tone even though she actually felt empty inside.
"How long will you be like this, Helena?" Edrik asked in a concerned tone.
"Until I get bored of myself, maybe," replied Helena casually.
However, he actually knew that he couldn't keep running away from reality. Edrik just shook his head, seeing his master's always wild and uncontrolled behavior. After all the work was finished, Edrik took Helena home.
Along the way, Helena fell asleep in the car, trying to forget the life she was currently living. Even when he got home, he was still sleeping in a dream.
"You bastard. When I get home, I'll definitely have to carry him." Edrik grumbled and felt sorry for his fragile friend.
Edrik carried Helena gently to her room. As usual, Mr. Cakra, her father, was still waiting at the dinner table, in the hope that his beloved daughter would one day return to her old self.
"Sir, haven't you had dinner yet?" asked Edrik.
"That's it. I'm just waiting for my daughter to come home." Cakra answered while smiling.
"Have you rested, madam?" Edrik asked as he dragged a chair and sat in front of Cakra.
"That's it. Kartika is already asleep. The more I come here, I feel like Helena is like Kartika's shadow. They are both busy." Cakra said, after that he drank the little coffee left.
"Yes. They are almost the same. Maybe it was Mrs. Kartika who made Helena like that," said Edrik.
Kartika is Helena's continued mother. She is the same as Helena, Kartika is a model. It's just that, she's not an adult magazine model.
"Okay, I'll go back to the room," said Edrik.
Cakra just nodded his head. Cahra's nights are always quiet. He now chats less and less and sits alone with Kartika. Because when he came home from filming, Kartika always complained that he was tired.

That morning, our family atmosphere felt so warm when we gathered at the dinner table. Even though we are all busy with our own work, we always try to make time to have breakfast together.
"Helena, how was your day, girl?" Kartika asked with a smile.
"Yes, Mom," replied Helena briefly, but enthusiastically.
Not long after, Cakra's cell phone rang and he immediately picked it up.
"Hello, good morning," he said friendly.
Kartika began to wonder who would contact her husband in the morning like this.
"Good morning, Mr. Cakra. I'm Alex, the Wirya family's assistant. I'm telling you that the big lady from the Wirya Group is on her way to your residence," Alex's voice came from across there.
Hearing that, Cakra looked surprised, and I started to feel confused and worried.
"Is there something wrong?" Cakra muttered to himself.
"Why did the old madam suddenly want to come here?" Cakra thought with confusion showing on his face, "Does this have anything to do with my job? Or is this just an unexpected social visit?" Chakra muttered.
"What happened, Dad?" Kartika asked in a worried tone.
Cakra then answered, "Mama, the big lady from the Wirya Group is on her way to our house. I don't know the exact reason yet."
When they heard the news, both of them were shocked and confused. What should they prepare to welcome a big lady into their house? And what is the reason behind his arrival?
"Ah, I hope it's not a time bomb that will explode soon, making our hearts beat fast." Cakra's mind panicked.
"What for?" asked Kartika.
"I don't know," said Cakra.
Helena seemed indifferent to the chatter going on around her. He was still enjoying the breakfast served in front of him. After finishing eating, they then sat together in the living room, while Helena started to gather her things to leave.
"Helena, are you going?" Kartika asked, frowning.
"Yes, Mam. Usually I spend my days off taking care of personal matters," said Helena.
He could feel that Kartika didn't seem to agree, but for him, weekends were the time he had been waiting for so he could unwind.
"Okay, but after Wirya's family comes, then you can go." Kartika said firmly.
Helena sighed, annoyed, but unable to avoid the order. In Helena's heart, Kartika is not just a mother who controls her life, but a figure she respects as well as a teacher who has taught her many things about modeling and life. He learned a lot from Kartika, therefore he was unable to assert his desires.
"Okay, I'll go to my room first," said Helena, trying to get away.
"You can't go to your room. Sit here until they come," Kartika ordered firmly.
Returning, Helena could only snort in annoyance and feel constrained. Not long after, Grandma Liona and the Wirya family arrived in front of Cakra's residence, making Helena have to postpone her plans for a while longer.
"Good morning," said Grandma Liona.
"Good morning, madam," replied Kartika very friendly.
Kartika got up from her seat. He walked over to Olma Liona, and he chatted briefly with Grandma.
"Welcome, madam," said Cakra.
They also accompanied Oka to sit in the living room. Helena shook Grandma Liona's hand and forced a smile on her lips.
"You must be surprised, why did I suddenly appear here?" asked Grandma.
"Yes, Madam. What's wrong?" asked Kartika.
"I want to marry your daughter to my grandchild," said Grandma with a smile.
"It's an honor for us," said Cakra.
Cakra and Kartika stared in amazement at Helena, they couldn't believe that Helena could win the heart of a top Wirya group leader.
"How? Are you ready?" Grandma Liona asked Helena.
Meanwhile, Helena was silent.
"That's bad. If I marry his granddaughter, I definitely won't be able to be free. I still have a lot of dates scheduled. What should I do?" Helena thought.
He really felt like he wasn't feeling right inside, but on the other hand, he really wanted to marry the sole heir of a conglomerate family, plus he was still of royal blood.
Cakra and Kartika started to worry when they saw Helena was silent. They were afraid, Helena rejected the proposal from the noble family.
"How is it, son?" asked Grandma Liona.
Helena was silent, her eyes looked alternately at her parents. Various questions and anxieties mixed in his mind.
"If I marry, my freedom will be lost. But... if I marry him, at least my future is guaranteed. Can I really accept this marriage?" Helena muttered to herself.
In the end, Helena smiled faintly, overcoming the doubts in her heart.
"Yes Madam, I do," he answered softly, bowing his head.
"Good. Then I will discuss it with the extended family, I will convey further news when the proposal ceremony approaches," said Grandma Liona.
"Yes, Madam," said Kartika.
"Not Madam, but Grandma. Grandma Liona," said Grandma, smiling broadly.
"Okay Grandma," said Cakra.
"Okay, then, I'll take my leave. Thank you for the answer," said Grandma Liona as she got up from her seat.
Helena, Kartika, and Cakra got up from their seats and followed Grandma Liona out of Cakra's residence. After they left, the Cakra family cheered with joy, but in a corner of Helena's heart, there was still a deep anxiety. Is this the right move? Can he really give up his freedom for a better future?
"Aaaaaa, Mama never imagined that my daughter would marry a nobleman," said Kartika, pinching Helena's cheek in exasperation.
"Mama, actually I don't feel ready to get married myself, but it would be a shame if I missed this opportunity," answered Helena, uncertainly.
"You are indeed a smart child," praised Cakra, Helena's father.
The three of them looked happy, but it turned out there was one person who couldn't smile, Zena. The girl is struggling hard to get some rupiah to pay for Halimah's treatment.
Unexpectedly, fate brought them all to one place, the hospital. Zena was seen sitting in the hospital yard, deep in thought. At the same time, Edrik left the hospital, having just had his routine health check-up.
"Helena? Is that Helena? Didn't she say she wanted to meet her date? Why is she here now?" Edrik muttered in surprise as he continued to observe the figure of the girl who was sitting listlessly.
Apparently, Edrik thought wrongly, what he saw was Zena, not Helena. Without thinking, Edrik approached Zena, who he thought was Helena. Not long after, a nurse came calling Zena's name.
When Zena left, Edrik realized his mistake and felt guilty because he might have just made Zena even more sad. This destiny teaches them the meaning of life and creates an unexpected bond between them.
"Ms. Zena, you are called Doctor Pras," said the nurse.
Zena immediately turned and nodded at the nurse.
"Yes, ma'am. Thank you," answered Zena. With unsteady steps, Zena got up from her seat. He felt his heart beating fast, afraid of the news he would receive from Doctor Pras.
"Is Mother's condition worsening? Should I prepare my heart to accept the harsh reality?" Zena thought, until tears began to flow down her cheeks without realizing it.
Meanwhile, Edrik, who saw Zena leaving, became curious.
"Zena? So the woman's name is Zena. But why does her face look so similar to Helena? Only, she looks uglier and thinner," muttered Edrik to himself.
His curiosity peaked, he decided to follow Zena.
"I have to follow him. Who knows, this might be useful someday," thought Edrik as he adjusted his distance so as not to be noticed by Zena.
After walking down the hall for a while, Zena finally met Doctor Pras. With a heavy feeling, he opened the door
the young doctor's office and asked in a trembling voice, "Doc, how is my mother?"
"Mrs. Halimah is better. The operation went smoothly. However, now you have to immediately pay off the hospital bill to get further treatment," said Doctor Pras.
"Yes, I know, but until now I haven't managed to collect the money needed, Doc," said Zena with a sad face.
"I understand, but it's an obligation," replied Doctor Pras with a sympathetic smile.
"Okay, Doc, if that's the case, I'll excuse myself," said Zena.
Doctor Pras nodded, and Zena got up from her chair to return to her mother's treatment room. In Zena's mind, guilt was starting to creep in.
"Am I an unfilial child? Why haven't I been able to help mother cure her illness?" Zena muttered to herself.
Meanwhile, Edrik, who had been following behind Zena, began to become interested in the girl's life story.
"So, the woman is facing financial problems?" Edrik muttered while smiling sarcastically.
Still following Zena's steps to Halimah's treatment room, after learning more about Zena, Edrik decided to leave the hospital.
Not long after, Zena arrived at Halimah's treatment room and immediately entered the room. There, he held his mother's weak hand tightly and lay on the bed.
"Mother, get well soon. Zena misses your smile and the warmth of your embrace," whispered Zena in a low voice and with teary eyes. He felt that he had really lost the mother figure he had relied on for so long
Not long after, Koh Atong appeared from behind the door.
"Zena. How is Halimah?" he asked anxiously.
"Oh, mother is better," replied Zena, relieved. Zena was shocked and immediately turned towards the source of the sound.
"Oe brought you lunch. Hope you like it," said Koh Atong as he put the package on the table.
The two of them chatted again, trying to forget the worries on their minds. Meanwhile, Helena is now driving her car to the apartment she often shares with her boyfriend. But this time, Helena was calling Edrik. Not long after, the call was connected.
"Drik, where are you?" Helena asked in a slightly panicked tone. "Hospital.
"Normal. Why is that?" Edrik asked, surprised by Helena's nervous voice.
"To the apartment now. It's important," said Helena firmly.
"Okay," answered Edrik, feeling that there was something important that Helena wanted to discuss. Helena arrived at the apartment first before Edrik arrived.
Helena threw herself on the sofa and took a deep breath. Thoughts and emotions mixed inside him, preparing himself to explain everything to Edrik.
"What dream did I have last night? Arriving at a conglomerate's room, a nobleman again," muttered Helena.
In the midst of the confusion and worry that enveloped him, he tried to convince himself that all this was just a nightmare that would soon pass.
Not long after, the apartment door opened from the outside, Edrik appeared and he immediately sat in front of Helena.
"What is it?" asked Edrik.
"I will marry the sole heir of the Wicitra group family," said Helena flatly.
"Wow, that's crazy. That's really lucky," said Edrik.
"I don't know. I still have to finish work with my dates who have already filled the list," said Helena desperately.
"It's easy. Everything will definitely go according to plan," said Edrik with a sly smile.
