Chapter 1

Title: Mr Jerk meets a Lady Clumsy

Setting: Korea.

Wham! Her CV dropped to the floor. She bends low to pick it not minding who hit her until she heard a voice.

"Hey! Clumsy lady, look where you're going before you bump your head on a trailer!" He said rudely.

"What? Clumsy lady? How dare you rude and uncultured brat?" She fired back

"How dare I? At least am some uncultured brat, what are you?!" He asked but got no response. Eun Ae just stood looking.

"Of course, you're a lowlife breed and a jobless fellow. You got no work to do ehn?" He said and smiled devilishly".

"And what gives you the assurance that am a lowlife breed?" She asked with her hands akimbo.

"That's surely written over you!" He said.

"Guess you don't know, am a hundred percent sure that you were born at the dung hill instead of a maternity centre" He addesaid and laughed. Jin sim looked both side and she saw tens of people watching. She was able to see into their peering eyes. They looked forward to a loser.

She heard comments like;

"I think she's gonna lose"

"Wow, Clumsy lady? Funny!" Another said.

"Wow, a dunghill? That's trash" A Lady said.

"I can imagine how her mother laboured!" A man said laughing. Hearing this, she became angry and clenched her fist. She's gonna ruin someone today.

"Thank goodness I was born at a dunghill,but a jerk that you are was born in a dungeon"

"What?" He asked with an innocent face.

"Are you talking to me?" He asked the expression on his face changed.

"Ask that to the birds of the air" She said and walked away briskly..

"In case I forgot, bye for now U.B.. See you some other time". She shouted as she continued walking nonstop. Kim Byeol only stood there watching her retreating figure"..

" She got some nerves" He said and smirked.

**Special delicacy restaurant**

"He's such a guy with no humour" Jin" Eun muttered. "He's ruined my day. What a jerk?" She added. She kept on murmuring to her self that she was unaware a waiter was talking to her.

"Miss, may I have your order pls?" He asked. Now she drifted back to the present happening.

"Huh!Yes, the menu" She replied.

"Sure ma'am" He replied handing it to her.

"Alright! Let's go for rice with pork meat. I just wanna eat an African food" She said waving her hands at him.

"Alright ma'am. Right away!" He replied leaving to get her order.

** Kim's Mansion**

U.B? What does that mean? He asked himself puzzled.

"Crazy Jerk?" He thought and laughed. "Anyways, that made my day" He said with a smile on his face. Just then, his best friend, Han Jyuk came in.. He saw Kim smiling. What happened over night? He wondered. He decided to leave him for some minutes when he heard him say.

"Well, she's pretty"

"Who?" He asked bringing Kim back to reality. "Who were you talking about?" He asked.

"You, dude" He said and gave a long hiss, walked away and leaving Han puzzled.

He got to his study and sat on a comfy chair.

What does that mean? He said to himself and laughed.

"Anyway, it made my hectic day interesting'' He said and laughed again.until his subconscious mind said "Interesting!"

"What?'' He said as he came back to my senses...

Just glad I fought back". He thought but his mind chanted.

"That's a lie, a lie, she won. She even called you a jerk born in a dungeon"

"That's true" He said not realizing he said that aloud.

"What's true?" Han asked.

"Nothing, Jerk" He replied wanting to hit him but Han dodged it..

He withdrew his hands and sat back. "Why did you come visiting?"

"Can't I?" Han asked pouting..

"You can't except I permit you"..

" Well, am staying here for some months" He said..

"Get lost" Kim said pushing him away. "Can't you be nice for once?" Han asked again pouting.

"Stop that it's making me angry!" He said but Han didn't stop there until he stalked his tongue out making him more annoyed.. Kim got a book and hit it on Han's head. Han also did the same causing them to run after each other playfully.....

*Special delicacy restaurant*

She had taken her order so she went to the counter to pay. She only had two wonnotes with her when the waiter said.

"I'm afraid to tell you miss, that you're to pay a hundred wonnote" He said.

"What???" She exclaimed banging her hand on the counter in front of her.

"For the salty food. I'm sorry I can't pay that" She yelled.

"You could have asked for another order. Look, you finished your food already. The dish is so clean as if it has been washed". He said pointing to the dish she had used.

Her cheeks became red and burning. She felt like ruining the whole of the restaurant.

" I'm sorry waiter, I never knew. I only have a won left dollar with me now. Can that do?" She asked with pleading eyes.

"Ok miss, but I'll have to inform the owner of the restaurant" He replied and made a call through the owner and the owner requested to see the debtor in two weeks time.

Eun Ae was a bit relieved she wasn't disgraced, thanks to Josh the waiter, but that didn't make one fail to notice her gloomy face. She got home and met her sister Bora who bombarded her with questions. Eun Ae narrated the day's event.

"Really?" Bora asked with great amazement and unbelief..

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Eun Ae asked her sister..

"No,no. Just that I find it hard to belief. Jerk! Clumsy?" She said laughing so loud that if walls could collapse, they would..

"What does UB means ? Bora thought to her self but didn't bother to ask her worried sister.

"Don't worry. All would be blissful" She said and a smile formed or curved on Eun Ae's face.

Melting him softly.

Chapter 2....

Title: "I'd get back at you, we can't end it here"

Eun Ae sat in their sitting room on an old wooden couch face palmed (that's her palms on her cheeks). She was definitely thinking...

"Xuxu, what's it again?" Bora who had been watching all day called her sister as she fondly called her.

"Nothing" She replied.

"Go get my pink joggers, I want to stroll down the street" She lied so as to get her sister off her neck.

"Alright" She replied and jumped happily to their room.

Eun Ae was busy thinking about the restaurant. Maybe I should just hold on.

"Two weeks right?"

"Sure, I can!" She said with assurance.

** Two weeks later **

Eun Ae got up from bed as early as 5:00am just to meet up with the owner of the restaurant. She got her white t-shirt and her joggers. She got prepared and dashed off to her destination. It was just four streets away..

** Special Delicacy restaurant **

(Josh's POV)

I saw the miss of the other day walking into the restaurant. I didn't fail to notice the anxious look on her face. The boss has called and told me she would handle it. I trusted my boss. She was supposed to be here today but an important appointment came up, so instead, she sent her daughter, Sun Bae. Sun Bae was a rude and proud girl, I'm afraid she'd hurt my new friend, Eun Ae.. I left where I sat to so as to attend to her but Sun Bae beat me to it.

She got to her before I could. I went back to my post with shrugged shoulders..

"Hey! Who are you looking for?" She asked with her eyes scanning the latter's body.

"I'm here to see the owner of this restaurant dear" Eun Ae replied.

"Dear? You think we're equals? Any ways, nevermind, I'm the owner of this place" She said with her hands akimbo.

"What? You? I spoke to a middled aged woman last time so I'm sure it's not you!" Eun Ae said with a smirk on her face.

"What are they getting themselves into now? Two crazy ladies! I thought until something diverted my attention.

Paww! Sun Bae had slapped Eun Ae claiming her mother wasn't old. I was able to see that Eun Ae fumed with anger ready to slap back but I got to the scene and got hit instead. It took some minutes before their argument died down. Sun Bae concluded that Eun Ae should work in the restaurant for a week not until she had given her impossible tasks to do..

I was a bit happy that my crush was going to work in the same restaurant as me. Am I not being selfish? I'm happy but Eun Ae isn't. I wasn't able to talk to her until she left since she said she wanted to be on her own...

*** Next day ***

Eun Ae began work the next day. Sun Bae assigned her to do a lot of work..She was to clean the restaurant, wash the dishes, go for delivery, and attend to customers..

She had gone for twelve deliveries at the same place twelve times today. Sun Bae restricted her from taking them at once so she could get tired but Eun Ae wasn't. She was encouraged since she already got a job even if it wasn't the one she had dreamt of for years...

Around 2:00pm, customers began to troop in for lunch. Eun Ae has not seen much troops like that in any restaurant. Everyone were getting their orders in turn. It got to the next person then she paused when she heard a voice.

"You finally found a job. Not any job but a domestic worker" He said and laughed. Of course, it was Kim who had said that.

"Are you taking this or not?" She asked referring to his food that she'd placed on a tray. He had ordered rice with sauce complimented with yoghurt. Just then, Kim threw a piece of cloth to the floor and asked her to pick it.

"What? Me? Pick? It?..." She said ad she became short of words.

"You see, a relative of mine owns this place. You just started today and if you're not careful, you'll lose it. So pick it" He ordered and she obliged. She bent down to pick the cloth but then the floor was slippery making her trip. The things in her hands fell making the drink spill on his brown coat.

"What? What have I done to you?" He yelled standing up from where he stood getting the awareness of everyone in the restaurant.

"I'm.. I'm sorry for being clumsy sir, I'll pay for this" She begged though, not sincerely.

"It's okay" He said and shoved it off. Within a twinkle of the eyes, she grabbed her unawares making everyone gasp in amazement.

He pulled her closer to him. Her hands fell on his chest, and jaw on his shoulders and her chest few distance away from him but his hands on her waist.

"What's this?" She thought.

"I'll get back to you. I was supposed to retaliate here but I've a lot of my clients watching. I wouldn't want a mere lowlife like you ruin my reputation" He whispered into her ears making other think they were in love. All this while, Sun Bae and Josh had been watching them silently.

Kim pushed her away gently and said..

"Clean up the mess!" in an ordering tone... He left immediately leaving Eun Ae lost, confused and puzzled.

"I'd get back to you. It can end just here" That voice kept echoing in her head. She cleared the mess and went to answer the call of her boss.

"Do you know him from anywhere?" Sun Bae had asked

"Why do you ask? And why are you so concerned?" Eun Ae asked back.

"You know what?? The truth is that I love that man of earlier so stay away from him!" She yelled banging her hands on the table causing Eun Ae to flinch...

"Avoid him! Okay?" Sun Bae had asked again to make sure she wasn't talking to a deaf person.

"I'll try" Eun Ae replied.

"Whattt???" Sun Bae exclaimed watching her retreating figure.

Chapter 3.

Title: Hired for a day job....

Days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Eun Ae was getting used to her job but Sun Bae made it hell for her... She has just twenty four hours left before the contract is terminated. Kim Tae Hyun kept on visiting the cafeteria but Eun Ae always ignored him. He called Josh one day and asked him to call Eun Ae. She heeded the call and went to meet him. She stood in front of him until he said;

"Are you just going to stand there?".

She sat almost immediately but wondered why he called her.

"I told you I was going to get back to you and this is the right time!" He said sharply making Eun Ae wonder what kind of punishment it was going to be..

"I need someone to clean my home for just 500 won. At least, that will pay all your debt" He said and stood up.

"My debt? How did you know?" She asked surprised.

"I'm a man of nature so what do you expect?" He asked with the look of arrogance worn on his face.

Eun Ae just sat thinking. She owed a debt of 1000 won. You might be wondering what she used it for. Eun Ae has always been ditched by many guys. All her investment, she poured on them. They were always a couple when she had money but faraway when there was nothing. She remembered vividly all that has conspired between her and her boyfriends, especially Kwon Rok. She flashes back to the past event..

*** Flash back ***

"It's our hundredth day anniversary!" Drake said on the phone.

"Yes dear it is" Eun Ae replied back.

"Let's go on a date" He said.

"Sure" She replied and the call was terminated. She soon got ready for the date. She put on a red Jacket on a white trouser. She wore a white shoe also which was complemented with a red purse. It was Valentine day. She got to the arranged place. They were to meet at the blue hall garden. She walked into the garden admiring the whole place. Her eyes caught a primrose. She plucked a flower and kissed it. It was her best...

"Eun Ae" A voice called. She could hear footsteps coming towards her. "That must be Drake" She thought.

"Eun Ae," He called again. It was he who she had presumed it was..

"Sweetie, I missed you" He said and pecked her on her fore head.

"I'm glad you do. I did missed you also" She replied rubbing her palms on her arms. It was obvious she caught cold. "Let's go into the hall" He said.

"Sure. We should!" She said happily and they went in. They sat on a table for two, ordered their meals and drink while they chatted happily.

"Eun Ae, there's something I want to tell you" Drake said to her adjusting his position well.

"What's that? What's bothering you?" Eun Ae asked with full concern.

He told her he had a business proposal. It was selling of properties and agencies.

"Wow! That's a good idea" She said. She bought the idea. He told her the agency was going to be in their names. He also told her they needed to get licence with two hundred and fifty billion wons.

"But that's a huge amount" Eun Ae said and pouted.

"How much do you have with you now?" He asked.

"Just half of that" She replied.

"I have half also. We can join them together" He said beaming with smiles.

"Yes,yes" She said clapping her hands.

"Cheers to that! Hurray!" They cheered happily with lots of giggling.

Two months later, she never heard from him again. It now dawned on her that she had been duped and fiddled with.. She was doomed for! She had used her family house for a collateral for the loan. She never had the money that time. She cried her balls out but no one was there to comfort her except her little sister who just heard that they no more own the house. They relocated to a shanty just for shelter. "What a shame!" Eun Ae thought with tears trickling down her cheeks. She was lost in this memory of hers until Kim snapped his fingers at her face driving her to reality.

"Are you in or out?" He asked sharply not bothering to know why she cried. He was concerned but decided to play arrogantly..

"Yes, I am" She replied and stood up on time. "Good!" He complemented.

He took out a paper and scribbled something on it. "That's my address" He said. "Be there by 4:00pm. My guest would be arriving at 6:00pm. So you should be done before then. You will also cook" He said

"Sure" She replied.

"And if you fail to be there on time, you'd be forced to face hell" He abruptly with an expressionless face.

"Alright" She replied and bowed before they both disembarked.

"I've been watching you both since. What were you discussing?" Sun Bae asked rushing to her.

"Nothing serious" Eun Ae answered.

"Really, but you both talked for over ten minutes" She added.

"Well, that's none of your business" Eun Ae replied and tried walking away but she obstructed her preventing her to walk pass her.

"You're going nowhere until you tell me what you both discussed" Sun Bae said.

"Stop being nosy, Okay? I'm not telling you anything!" Eun Ae said.

"No way! Nosy?" Sun Bae repeated and slapped her.

"What???" Eun Ae exclaimed and pulled her hair closer to her dragging it carelessly while Sun Bae who was on heels removed it and hit her with it. There was no one to separate them, even Josh had gone to the market to buy somethings to be used for the day's work.

*** (Kim's POV) ***

I already left the restaurant with a strange feeling. "What's wrong?" I thought. I zoomed off with my car and headed straight to the office. It was then I noticed that I had forgotten my office key. I got into my car and drove off again. I got to the restaurant and was surprised with what I saw.

"Stop! What's happening here?" I shouted..

*** (Eun Ae's POV) ***

I made up my mind to discipline this rude brat in front of me. I pulled her while she yelled in pain. I took the heels from her and wiped her instead. She dragged my clothes and I dragged her hair with enough force.

"I'm done here" I told her. We continued until I heard a voice pushing the two bodies to immediate stop.

"Stop! What's going on here?" The voice shouted. I looked up and saw that it was U.B. Before I could talk, Sun Bae already beat me to it. I was pushed to the greatest shock of my life!.
