Everyone at school knows I'm not interested in women,"_ Kade claimed. _"Do you have solid evidence?"_ asked the judge. _"Yes, your honor."_ _"Call in the witness,"_ the judge ordered. Since you're after money, just name your price,"_ Kade taunted, smiling. _"Shove your money where the sun doesn't shine. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you can cover up your filth. You're a devil, and even though you twisted everything, people will know what you did,"_ Sky said, glaring at Kade's friend, who quickly looked away. _"Don't worry, Mr. Russell. I don't need your money. You can use it to pay for your son's therapy or donate it to those who believe they can buy souls,"_ Sky remarked, looking at the judge. (Sky knew from the beginning that the judge favored Kade, but she wasn't about to give up. The case had been dismissed at the first hearing, but she wasn't going to lose hope.) Chapter 1 Bad reputation

Chapter 1

Sky glanced at the TV and was surprised to see the man on the screen.

"Good morning, Atty. Russell, and congratulations once again," said the TV reporter.

"Good morning, thank you," Kade replied.

"So, Atty. Russell, how did you discover that Governor Cuando was truly guilty?" the TV reporter asked.

"Atty..." Sky muttered in surprise.

"Atty? He just graduated, but look at him now-he's already making a name for himself, and he's handsome too!" Kaye said, gushing.

"He's a demon who tramples on others, and now he's a lawyer," Sky laughed bitterly.

"Huh? Do you know him?" Kaye asked, looking at Sky.

"Not really. I just heard that his family has a bad reputation. If anyone files a case against them, they settle it with money," Sky replied.

"We heard that too, but no one believed it because they seem so kind," Kaye added.

Sky laughed bitterly. "A criminal becomes a lawyer? Maybe it's to strengthen their power, so no one can stand against them," Sky thought, clenching her fists while watching Kade's interview on TV.

"From the beginning, I knew he was behind the fake plates and materials. Because of what he did, many people were victims of crimes that couldn't be solved due to the fake plates. It's an honor to bring justice to those who died at the construction site," Kade said.

"You fake person. They don't know you're worse than Governor Cuando, a rapist and a murderer," Sky thought.

"Look, Sky, isn't he such a kind lawyer? And to think he's not charging any fees to help those who died in the building collapse. Not only that, he's handsome too, right?" Kaye commented.

"Tsk," Sky scoffed, rolling her eyes. "If you only knew what kind of person he really is-worse than a demon," Sky thought, her fists clenched as she stared at the TV.

**Six years had passed since the tragic event that almost made her give up. She was completely isolated, shamed as a flirt and a gold digger. She wanted to die from the pain and humiliation that Kade had brought into her life, but someone made her realize that she had to live-for her child. Fortunately, the Rodriguez family helped her.**

Flashback

"Gosh, girl! She's the one accusing Kade of rape!" one of the girls whispered, making Sky lower her head.

"She did everything to win the case, but she still lost. She had nothing to fight with. That's how it is when you're poor."

"Yeah, it's her."

"As if someone as ugly as her would catch Kade's attention!"

"Exactly! She's so ugly."

"She's such an embarrassment."

"I heard she works at a bar."

"Oh really? It's good that Kade was found innocent."

"She was just after Kade's money-that's what her friend said."

"How shameful."

"Miss Caswell," a voice called, and Sky looked up.

"Yes, Dean?" Sky replied.

"Follow me to the office," the Dean said.

Sky felt her world collapse when she learned that Sam and the others had pulled out her scholarship.

"Please, sir, have mercy on me. I'll do anything. Please, I just want to graduate from high school," Sky begged the Dean.

"I'm so sorry, Miss Caswell, but you can't attend this school anymore starting tomorrow," the Dean replied.

"But graduation is so close," Sky said, her voice trembling.

"Don't worry, you can still graduate. I'll make sure of it because I pity you, but you won't be allowed to enter the school anymore. You'll just receive your diploma," the Dean explained.

She refused to accept it. After everything that happened last week-the case was dismissed, and students had ganged up on her, which kept her out of school for four days-now this was the news she received after recovering. It felt like the world was turning against her.

No matter how much she begged, she knew it was useless.

"Get her!" Sky was startled by the shout. She was outside while the students were upstairs.

They began pelting her with eggs and other things.

She could only cry as she lay on the grass, trying to protect her head.

Sky cried as she cleaned herself in the bathroom. She didn't want to go home in that state.

"Nice boobs," a voice said, making her look up.

"What are you doing here?" Sky asked, glaring at Kade as she quickly put on her uniform.

"I miss your body," Kade said, sticking out his tongue and giving her a lewd look.

"You monster! You've turned everything upside down and made people believe your lies. But you will get what's coming to you. Karma will hit you twice as hard!" Sky said angrily.

"Hahahaha! Do you think you can scare me? You're so stupid. I told you before, didn't I? You should've just stayed quiet and done what I wanted. But no, you didn't listen. Look at you now, lying on the ground," Kade sneered.

"That will never happen! I'm not a whore to be used by you!" Sky shouted.

"Ouch."

"You're really brave for a nerd," Kade said, grabbing Sky by the throat. Sky struggled to remove his hands from her neck.

"Kade, you're going too far!" Jeo tried to stop him.

"She's too stubborn. She fights back. You know I hate people who fight back, especially when they're poor like her. You're lucky I still tolerate you-your body is nice," Kade said, as tears streamed down Sky's face.

"Sky," Sam reached out, but Sky pulled away.

"No thanks. Use that to cover your shameless face. I hope you're happy with what you've done. I hope you're all happy with the suffering you've caused me. Congratulations, you succeeded in getting me kicked out of school. I hope you all die!" Sky shouted and stormed out.

"What?" Kade was shocked by her words.

"Did you really get her expelled?" Jeo asked.

"You think I'd let that happen, Jeo?" Kade responded.

"That's impossible. Kade's not even married to Sky's body. That doesn't make sense," Xian added.

"I'm sorry, Sky," Sam thought.

They didn't know that Sky was hiding in the hallway, terrified of what Megan, the school bully, might do to her.

"Miss Caswell," a woman inside a car called out.

"Why are you here?" Sky asked angrily, looking at Kade's mother.

"Ten million pesos. Stay away from my son. You're after our money, aren't you? Isn't ten million enough to stop your madness? You're ruining our family's name," Karen said coldly.

"Hahahaha! Do you really think you can buy me off with money? What your son did to me can never be replaced. He deleted the CCTV footage from his own condo, and that was solid evidence. But no, you paid off the judge. You think I don't know that? Your family is despicable. I guess it's true-what you sow, you reap. And your son has certainly reaped his family's rotten traits, hasn't he?" Sky retorted.

"You're getting out of hand. You should be grateful I didn't sue you for what you did. Do you know how much shame you've brought?" Karen yelled.

"What your son did isn't shameful? He raped me-not once, but over ten times!" Sky shouted.

"You wanted it, didn't you?" Karen said.

"That's not true! Every day he raped me! His friends were witnesses. Go ahead, cover up your son's crimes. I swear, you'll pay for it. But you know what? Someone as poor as me can't afford to fight you," Sky said bitterly.

"I may be poor, but I have respect. I know right from wrong, and above all, I fear God. But you-you're still alive, yet your souls are already burning. Take your money to your graves!" Sky said, turning her back on Karen.

"Sky, thank goodness you're here! Your house is on fire!" Sky's world crumbled when she heard the news.

"What?" she gasped, running towards her home.

When she arrived, she saw her house engulfed in flames. She felt hopeless as the fire consumed everything. The people around just stood there, doing nothing.

"Help! Call the fire department, please!" Sky screamed as she watched the only thing her parents had left her go up in flames.

End of Flashback

"Hey, you seem deep in thought," Kaye said, snapping Sky back to reality.

"I was just thinking about the twins," Sky replied. It was their first day of school, and earlier, her youngest had cried, refusing to go. Sky wondered how they were doing now.

Chapter 2 The Russell family

Chapter 2

"Good evening," Sky said as she entered her condo.

"Good evening, Mommy," Sage greeted.

"Morning, baby. Where's your sister?" Sky asked.

"She's with Nanay Mel," Sage replied.

"Sahara," Sky called out.

"Mommy," Sahara responded, coming out of the kitchen.

"Mom, you're home! I already cooked," said Sahara, who had been helping Tita Yena's helper, Nanay Mel. Aunt Yena, Finn's mother, entrusted Nanay Mel to their family because of her loyalty and long service.

"Mommy, I helped Nanay Mel!" Sahara proudly said.

"Really? So, what did you do?" Sky asked.

"I was the taste tester, Mommy," Sahara proudly boasted.

Sky and Mel both chuckled.

"Why are you laughing, Mommy?" Sahara asked, confused.

"Nothing, baby. Let's eat now," Sky said.

"Yeah, hooray!" Sahara shouted, running to the kitchen, followed by Sage.

"How was your first day, Nay?" Sky asked, feeling as if Nanay Mel had become a second mother to her.

"Well, the kids were a handful. At first, Sahara cried, but by lunchtime, she didn't want to go home. She said she wanted to stay," Mel said with a laugh.

Sky sighed.

"The Russell family can never find out that she has a child with Kade. No one can know. She knows what the Russell family is capable of."

"Mommy, I got a star today," Sahara said as they were getting ready for bed.

"Really? Very good!" Sky praised.

"Liar! You cried earlier because you couldn't answer the teacher, so she didn't give you a star," Sage teased.

"Why are you such a tattletale, Kuya? Mwah, Mommy, sorry," Sahara apologized, starting to cry.

"It's okay. It's still a star," Sky comforted her.

"See!" Sahara said, immediately wiping away her tears, switching back to her mischievous self.

Sky couldn't help but grin. It seemed like Sahara inherited the Russell family's cunning and quick mood changes. But Sage was different. He was often quiet, kind, but sometimes too philosophical for his age, like a little old man.

Flashback

"Have mercy, Kade. Please let me go," Sky pleaded.

"I told you to just obey me, right? You said you weren't ready because you needed to focus on your studies. Then what now? You're flirting with Greg? Tell me, Sky, is he more handsome than me?" Kade asked, removing his shirt.

Sky backed away in fear as Kade slowly approached her. She found herself trapped against the wall.

"Please, Kade. Your friends are outside. Have mercy," Sky begged.

But Kade ignored her. He grabbed her by the neck and kissed her on the neck, while his hand slid down her thigh, making her tiptoe.

"But they don't care about you. Even if you scream, they won't help you," Kade said coldly.

"Please, Kade, have mercy. Don't do this to me," Sky cried, pleading.

"Do you think I'll listen to you? I'm horny right now. Just obey me. Your virginity will be safe, but it's too late now, honey," Kade said with a chilling tone.

Sky remained silent. She didn't want Kade. She hated him-he was a bully, arrogant, and a bad boy who thought too highly of himself. That's why she never wanted him courting her.

"Do you think I'll let you give yourself to Greg? No, I'll beat him to it because you're mine, Sky. Remember that-you're mine, and I know you've just been playing me. You never planned to give yourself to me, right? Well, I'll take what's mine," Kade said, sending chills down Sky's spine.

"Whether you like it or not," Kade whispered seductively in her ear.

"You're mine," Kade said, as he tore off her tube top cocktail dress.

"Hik... please, no... Kade, please have mercy... help, help!" Sky screamed as Kade tied her hands to the headboard with his belt.

"Please, Kade, don't continue... have mercy," Sky cried, her voice trembling.

But it seemed futile as Kade's manhood was already positioned in front of her.

"Ouch, Kade, it hurts! Please stop, have mercy!" Sky whimpered, struggling, but Kade firmly held her legs in place.

"Ouch, please, Kade, it hurts so much. Stop, I beg you, stop!" Sky screamed, but Kade didn't hear her. He closed his eyes, gripping her legs tightly, thrusting while her vision blurred from the tears streaming down her face.

"It hurt so much, like her body was being split in half. She never thought this would happen, never thought Kade would do this to her. She had only agreed to serve him in exchange for not taking her share in the company after her family's business went bankrupt. She knew Gavin was behind it, and now the Russell family was in control of her life."

"Mommy!" Sky woke up, gasping for breath, her body drenched in sweat. She clutched her chest.

"Why does this nightmare keep haunting me? That night when it all began," Sky thought.

She looked at her sleeping children and forced a smile.

"Sahara, stop it. Mommy is still sleeping," Sage said.

"I'm sorry, Mommy, I was just hungry," Sahara said, hugging Sky.

"It's okay, baby," Sky said, kissing her daughter on the cheek.

"See, it's okay, Brother" Sahara teased, sticking her tongue out at Sage.

"Mommy, kiss me too!" Sage asked, and Sky kissed him as well.

"She was blessed to have twins, even though they could be a handful. At least they filled the emptiness in her heart."

"Mommy, I'm excited to go to school!" Sahara exclaimed as Sky fixed her uniform.

"Oh, really? But yesterday, you cried," Sky teased.

"I was just scared, Mommy. But now I have lots of friends, like this," Sahara said, holding up three fingers.

"Wow, my baby is so friendly," Sky said.

"But Brother has friends like this," Sahara said, showing all ten fingers.

"Don't worry, you'll be friends with them too," Sky assured her.

"But they all like Brother. They keep touching his face and giggling," Sahara pouted.

Sky chuckled, knowing what Sahara meant.

"Sage is very handsome. Everyone says he looks like a foreigner. While Kade is British, not American, Sahara is a mix of both of them. But Sage takes after Kade more, with his light brown hair and green eyes."

"Let's go now. Nanay Mel and Kuya are waiting for you," Sky said, picking up Sahara and heading downstairs.

Later that day

"Ugh, I'm so tired," Sky sighed, putting on her lab coat.

"We're so thankful for you, Doc Caswell. What would we do without you?" one of the nurses said.

"How's his pulse, Doc Caswell?" asked Dr. Brent.

"It's stable now. Monitor his blood vessels every hour, and call me if anything happens," Sky instructed.

"You're so sneaky! We graduated together, trained together, but you always disappear," Nurse Shasha teased.

"Shasha, Doc Sky has kids, twins at that. Who's going to take care of them if she's always here? You?" Nurse James chimed in.

"Maybe we should let you have kids too, James, so you'll know what it's like to be a doctor and a parent," joked Dr. Ann, a cardiac electrophysiologist. She specialized in heart pulse monitoring and had more knowledge in this rare field than regular surgeons.

"I have to go now," Sky said.

"What? You're not coming with us to celebrate?" James asked.

"Yeah, Doc Sky, come on, just this once," Nurse Dina added.

"Sorry, guys, we have a family dinner later," Sky lied, leaving them disappointed.

"I'll walk you out," Dr. Brent offered.

"Careful, Doc, she might be taken!" Shasha teased.

"Aww," Dina added.

"Tsk, clean up and sterilize the equipment. We've got another operation tomorrow. Get moving!" Dr. Brent ordered.

"You're really not the sweet type, are you?" Dr. Ann said with a shake of her head, walking out first.

"Thanks again," Brent said as they stepped outside.

"You're welcome. I have to go now. I've got a dress to finish," Sky said.

"Aren't you tired?" Brent asked, concerned.

"I am, but I have to keep going," Sky replied with a forced smile, heading towards her car.

She needed the money to reopen her case. She wasn't going to let Kade get away without justice. He didn't just ruin her life; he took her dignity too.

"The Russell family will pay for this," she thought as she drove away from the hospital.

This hospital was owned by her and Finn, so she only worked on-call when a cardiologist was needed for surgery.

Congrats, dude," Clint said.

"Thanks," Kade replied after winning his case against the corrupt governor.

"Too bad Brent's in West Cross now. We couldn't hang out with him," Xian remarked.

"Forget about him. He's probably surrounded by a bunch of chicks there. Haha," Jeo joked.

"Man, you need to stop thinking about chicks all the time," Xian chided.

"Tsk," Jeo responded with a smirk.

"It's weird that Brent hasn't even called or checked in since everything went down," Clint commented.

"Don't mention that, Clint. Someone might hear. Let's just forget it," Xian warned.

"I'm just curious. Where could Sky be now?" Jeo wondered, making the other three glance at him.

"What? I'm just curious," Jeo defended.

"Maybe she's in hiding. You know, it's been six years since we last saw or heard from her," Clint said thoughtfully.

"What do you think, Kade? Where's she hiding?" Xian asked.

"I don't know, but if I ever see her again, I'll make sure she pays," Kade said angrily.

"Why are you still mad at her?" Xian asked, confused.

Chapter 3 Second Chance

Chapter 3

Tsk," Kade responded.

"I heard the vice governor went to West Cross for surgery. They say the doctors there are better than ours, and their equipment is more advanced," Clint shared.

"Oh yeah, I heard that too," Jeo added.

"You're the owner of the hospital, right? Why don't you improve our facilities?" Xian teased.

"Tsk, I'm tired of that stuff," Jeo replied dismissively.

"Are you tired of your job, or tired of flirting with the nurses every day?" Xian joked, laughing.

"Shut up," Jeo said, grinning.

"We need to get our lives together. Look, we were given a second chance. What would've happened if the case went differently? We'd be in jail," Clint pointed out.

"Stop reminding me," Jeo said, slapping Clint on the back.

"Kade, why did you become a lawyer? We were surprised when you came back from England as an attorney. What happened?" Xian asked.

"Nothing," Kade answered curtly.

"Nothing? You went from business to law?" Jeo asked, confused.

Kade just rolled her eyes.

"Maybe Sky's coming back to sue us again, and Kade here made sure we wouldn't lose this time. She's always been a step ahead, right, Kade?" Clint teased, laughing.

Kade just gave him a cold stare.

"Imagine if Sky comes back, and Kade ends up being her attorney, locking herself up in the process," Xian laughed.

"Yeah, and I'll take all of you with me, locking you up for life if you don't shut up," Kade threatened, making the three fall silent.

"Your second kid's birthday is coming up, right? What's the plan?" Jeo asked Xian.

"I don't know. Depends on Sam," Xian answered.

"Haha, back then, you had her wrapped around your finger. Now, it's the other way around," Clint teased, laughing.

"Because I love her, idiot. I hope when you find your girl, she hates your guts," Xian fired back.

"Because I love her, idiot. I hope when you find your girl, she hates you," Xian said.

"Hey, man, no need to go there," Clint replied.

"Hahaha, back at you," Jeo joined in.

Kade shook her head, thinking, *These three haven't changed a bit.*

"What if Brent hasn't come back because he already has a family?" Jeo speculated.

"You're crazy," Clint responded.

"I heard there's a beautiful resort there, Xian. Maybe we could celebrate there," Clint suggested.

"Why, are you paying?" Xian teased.

"Dude, are you broke already?" Jeo laughed.

"You came up with the idea," Xian shot back.

"Fine, I'll handle the car, Kade can handle the food, and I'll take care of the hotel," Jeo said, only to get smacked on the back by Xian and cursed at.

"It's for your kid, you cheapskates," Jeo whined.

"Haha, I'm lucky I get to save money this time. Hopefully, it's the same for my eldest," Xian said, amused.

"Hell no," the three said in unison, making Xian laugh.

Flashback

"Dude, did you see that? Sky doesn't like you because she's into Greg," Clint teased his best friend.

"Hahaha, Greg's better-looking than you, bro," Jeo laughed.

"She's mine," Kade said, clenching his fists while watching Sky and Greg dance together.

"Maybe she's just making an excuse, saying she doesn't want to date because of her studies, but she actually prefers someone else," Xian stirred the pot.

"That's gotta hurt, man. Kaden Prime Russell, rejected and replaced by a basketball player," Jeo added, laughing.

"What are you going to do to me?" - Sam asked, held tightly by Xian.

"Simple, just be our witness." - Kade said, shocking Sam.

"I don't want to." - Sam replied.

"Really, you don't want to? What do you think will happen if we end up in jail? You'll be jailed too. Imagine it, they'll think it was you who put something in Sky's drink." - Jeo said with a grin.

Sam suddenly felt nervous.

"You forced me!" - Sam protested.

"Kade, she doesn't want to do it." - Clint said.

"I'll make sure you end up in jail with us, and I'll make sure your company goes bankrupt." - Kade threatened.

"Please, have mercy, Kade. Have mercy on Sky, she has no family!" - Sam begged.

"She's stubborn. If she had just agreed to be my girlfriend, we wouldn't have reached this point." - Kade remarked.

"Please, have mercy, Kade!" - Sam pleaded.

"Xian, you know what to do." - Kade ordered, and Sam was startled as Xian pulled her away.

"No, please! No, please!" - Sam screamed.

"Xian." - Kade nodded, and Xian obeyed.

"Please, have mercy!" - Sam begged, as Xian dragged her into the room.

"Are you really going to do that?" - Jeo asked, looking at Kade.

"I don't want my name to be ruined, Jeo. I've already told her not to go through with it because she doesn't stand a chance." - Kade replied.

"She'll only hate you more, Kade." - Clint warned.

"This is wrong, Kade. This will only make our case worse." - Brent added.

"Do I care? After this, I'll make sure she escapes to my mansion. It's already sealed." - Kade declared.

Clint and Brent shook their heads as Kade's plan unfolded. After this hearing, they would kidnap Sky and take her to a house Kade had built deep in the forest, far from the city, so that Sky could never escape.

"She knows I don't like people who fight back, and now she has to face the consequences." - Kade said coldly.

"You'll do what I say, or Xian will do that to you again. Is that clear?" - Kade threatened Sam, gripping her chin as she cried, hugging herself while sitting on the bed.

Sam nodded.

"Good. Keep my name clean, good girl." - Kade said as he left Xian and Sam alone in the room.

The three of them shook their heads in disbelief. Kade really forced Xian to rape Sam and take advantage of her because she refused to be Kade's witness. They knew that if Sam testified tomorrow against Sky, Kade would be imprisoned, and they would all go down with him. To save themselves, they had no other choice. They didn't want to go to jail-they were only 18 years old, with so many dreams ahead of them.

End of Flashback

"Good morning." - Yena

"Morning." - Sky

"Are you on duty today, Doc?" - Nurse 3

"Nope, I just have somewhere to go." - Sky, smiling.

"Doc, I really missed you!" - Nurse 2

"Hey, Daren, shut up. You're such a womanizer!" - Nurse 4

"I'll go ahead now. I was called by the Director." - Sky

They nodded.

"Good morning." - Sky as she entered Finn's office.

"Morning. How are the twins?" - Finn asked as Sky entered.

"Same as usual." - Sky

"Let's just wait for them." - Finn

"Huh? Why? What's going on?" - Sky thought it was just a meeting.

"I'm so tired." - Dr. Jaen

"You really are lazy, Dr. Jaen." - Dr. Zane

"What?!" - Dr. Jaen

"You all need to go. You were chosen by the board." - Finn

"Oh no! I just had a facial and went to the dermatologist. Ugh, gosh." - Dr. Jaen

"It's not even obvious that you went to the dermatologist." - Dr. Oliver

"Yeah, true." - Dr. Johan

"Why do you all keep bullying me, huh?" - Dr. Jaen

"Because you're so high-maintenance." - Ann rolled her eyes at Jaen.

"You should just go to Dr. Johan for your dermatology needs, Jaen. Don't go to anyone else." - Sky, smiling.

"Sorry, Sky, but no, no, no. Big N-O. Yuck, I'm not going to him." - Jaen

"Chief Finn, can you just remove her from her position as a doctor and transfer her to the mental health ward? She belongs there." - Dr. Johan

"Guys, guys, stop that. You two might end up together." - Dr. Brent

"Dr. Sky, Dr. Brent, Dr. Jaen, Dr. Zane, and Dr. Ken." - Finn

"So that monkey gets to go, and I don't?" - Dr. Johan

"What would you even do there? It's a medical mission, not plastic surgery for people who want to look prettier." - Dr. Jaen

Everyone laughed except for Johan, who frowned.

"When are we leaving?" - Brent

"Thursday." - Finn

"What? Thursday? That's tomorrow, bro!" - Sky said, surprised.

"Oh, right. I forgot." - Finn scratched his head.

"Forgot? What have you been doing to forget something like that?" - Sky

"He's not prepared." - Dr. Jean

"They only told me earlier." - Finn

"Ugh, so we need to start preparing." - Dr. Jean

"Hey, we still have work." - Dr. Ann
