A bald headed man who dad introduced as his old friend came to the airport to pick us up as they exchanged pleasantries which i was not interested in.

My feet hurts and I can't wait to be out of this place, I plugged in my airpods as i listened to first love by Adele.

Love songs aren't my thing but I don't get why I am listening to this, I shut my eyes letting the song sink in.

This time i didn't bother shutting my eyes as I looked out the window enjoying the beautiful view.

The bald headed man I finally heard them call John was busy laughing his ass out as they talk about dads childhood.

I would have increased the volume of my music as they were being too noisy but something they said caught my attention.

John was teasing dad as he recounted how he chased mom around during their high school days.

It was so funny and surprising judging from how mean dad looks sometimes, makes me wonder if he ever enjoyed his childhood or he was just a boring kid with no friends.

But this big guy John just cleared that idea of my head.

"I remember when Rose chased you out of her class with a mopping stick because you wouldn't let her be" John said

Its been two hours since we left the airport and we are yet to get to the house, I yawned tiredly as I rested my head.

I kept mute as I took in the interior designs of my room and I was impressed.

I smiled in delight when I spotted my favorite Video games lying carefully on the table.

Since I broke the last one, dad refused buying me another one but here it is, now this is double excitement.

I must say I'm impressed, despite the tension she still did her work well.

Something caught my eyes on the bed and I looked to see my favorite pajamas she already brought out for me.

I checked for important messages and saw none except for boys who were professing their love and it wasnt relavant then I dropped it and drifted off to sleep facing down.

I woke up and checked the time,it was 3:30am in the morning.

This has been my routine for the past three and half years, I wake up everyday by 3:30am to work from home and when its 7:00 I start to get prepared for my 8:00 class if I have one.

I've been doing this for three years and I need no alarm to wake me up.

Ever since dad died ten years ago I have been a loner, I have reliable friends thought they know I dont talk much.

My life has been going in circles, following the same routine everyday.

I began working from home in dads company since I was fifteen, having been taught about how to run a business the moment I clocked eleven

Dads lawyer made sure to register me in business classes so I can be able to handle dads company in his demise.

Funny enough dad already drafted his will before he died like he knew.

Rembering that incident is something I don't want to do right now.

After I took over the company I started working in the background since I wasn't eighteen yet.

With the little knowledge I have since I'm in business class and the little I was able to learn from dad at that young age I was able to carry the company along.

Dad always believed in training a child from a very young age, he never missed any opportunity in inculcate values and knowledge to anyone that cares to know.

As his only son he thought me quite a lot and today they are really helping me.

I put on my glasses then started to read carefully and signed the documents that needed to be signed then I sent emails to my twenty two years old secretary.

It was already 6:30am when I started to hear slight noises downstairs.

I knew it was the maid trying to fix food for everyone.

I concentrated on my work as I had only thirty minutes left to finish for the day.

A message popped into my phone and I opened to read the content.

Black is my favorite colour, and I like purple too for some reasons.

Everything in my room is mostly black with a shade of purple.

Wow, Vrick you look awesome, I heard from behind and Molly ran into the room.

I turned around in time and she jumped on my body, you look ravishing yourself lil sis, I said as I carried her down carefully.

You don't jump on a boys body like that, I said.

She was clad in a big pink t shirt and a pink joggers, she look so beautiful.

Mom didn't come back last night, she said sadly.

I know, I replied with smiles reassuring her.

Paah, a light but painful slap land on my cheek, I jumped out of the bed quickly in fright only to see mom staring at me like she's seen a ghost.

Shut Up, its 7am already, go freshmen up and come downstairs for breakfast.

At the sound of 7am I quickly ran to the bathroom not waiting for her to finish, I can't believe I slept till now.

In a twinkle of an eye I was already dressed up in a black crop top, a black trooper and a purple jacket.

I looked at the mirror admiring my looks.

Come in, I said and she opened to door and stepped in quietly, head down again.

That was when I realized I have been staring and doing nothing since.

I watched as her hands did wonders on my hair softly.

She sure deserves an accolade for this neat work, I thought as I stared at what she did on my hair and without being told she picked up my make up kit opening in and applying some on my face lightly.

I would have left my mouth open while staring at her if not for self control.

Done, she said smiling slightly like she's scared of showing her teeth.

I looked at my self in the mirror, gosh I look so beautiful, I thought.

I got to the dinning and met the table empty, there was food but mum and dad were not there.

Beck then when she was looking for the clinic, I refused saying a work because I wanted to test her level of patience and I wanted to punish her too for screaming at me.

I knew who it was so I just closed my eyes waiting for him.

I opened my eyes and the look i saw on his face was priceless.

I'm alright Vrick, you shouldn't worry, it my fault, I pleaded for the up tenth time but he refused to listen

Is she blind that she didn't see you coming? he questioned angrily as he was walking me back to my class.

I was the one who didn't see her believe me, she even helped me a lot, I said trying to pacify him.

He groaned in frustration.

Be careful next time Molly, he whispered as his brows creased in worry.

I nodded and he gave me a small hug.

Be a good girl okay, he said this time without smiling.

Vrick can only smile cheerfully at home.

I watched him walk away before entering my class.

Come in Ms Benson, how do you feel now? Mr Aaron asked shocking me.

I should be receiving tongue lash from this ugly duckling but he's here asking how I'm feeling?

I told him im fine now then he made way for me to walk into the class.

Just like me shock was written on everyones faces.

I guess being Maverick Benson sister is a huge bonus.

My mind went to the stranger I met earlier and I smiled , I can't wait to see her again or maybe bump into her, I chuckled at my thought

Mr Aaron glared at me and I placed my hands on my big mouth
