Seven years later...

"Ms. Foreister, I am calling you to the meeting," my Secretary said calmly.

I rolled my damn eyes because I'm not done with my sketching.

"Did you call the other Architects?" I asked while I continued looking and doing my sketch. I've been busy with my sketch since many clients are showing up.

"Yes, Ma'am. I already called them."

"What's up with the sudden meeting?"

"CEO hire four famous Engineers and they are in the conference room for the meeting," she answered and fixed her glasses so I nodded in confirmation. I rolled my eyes, thinking of how to avoid the meeting and continue my work.

"I have to continue this but argh!" I hissed and retouched my light make up. I didn't even clean my messy bun because I'm so frustrated right now!

"You may go," I coldly answered. She nodded before leaving me. "Who are they to interrupt what I'm doing! If this is not important, I'm gonna throw them out of here in the company!" I hissed again and left my office, only to hear Savannah ruckus.

"Wow, how important is this and I'm distracted?!" Savannah shouted so I covered my ears because her voice was echoing and the other interns and those working here were looking at us.

"I'm especially looking for an Engineer right now because I need it for my new project in Cebu!" Olivia asked while her hair was a mess. I just shook my head and continued walking.

"They said that new Engineers have arrived and guess what, there are four of them!" Phoebe said happily but because I was too lazy to speak I just walked to the elevator so they followed, I quickly pressed the 18th floor which is the conference room.

When we arrived, we walked with a fierce face. Every step of our heels on the tiles causes noise. I opened the door and we saw the new Engineers covered with a black folder.

"Good afternoon, CEO," the three of them greeted but I just looked at him without emotion.

"Oh, you're here! Here are our new and famous engineers from Abroad!" The CEO said excitedly so he furrowed his brow and looked carefully. I was surprised when they simultaneously dropped the Black folder and at the same time the thousands of worries that I was trying to forget.

"I'm going to marry you, Meggay. You're the one I want to be my wife," Patricio said sincerely while looking at me deeply. My eyes sparkle with different emotions, thousands of butterflies are emerging to my stomach.

My face changed from emotionless to shocked, our lips parted. My heart aches with the pain that I used to feel before.

How dare them to come back and face us like they did nothing?!

My face became emotionless once again. The pain doubled yet I didn't show any of it.

How could they face us like this? How could they show their face to my friends, they hurt them so much.

I left the conference room with no emotion. I don't want to see them again.

He once again called me with that stupid endearment that I always hear from him. I didn't hate him but I don't want to be called by him again.

I'm tired of being blind. I see everything but I remain silent just because I want to save our friendship.

I'm here at the coffee shop, drinking and doing my plates. I have to finish my plates because I have to submit them later.

I'm so serious about this because I've been doing this for seven hours! I have so many plates to draw and this one needs to be submitted later.

"Shit," I said weakly and quickly took out the eraser to erase the wrong drawing.

I drank the Cappuccino that was in my Cup and did my plates again without paying attention but I didn't think that I would be showered with shameless Coffee.

"Fuck! Fuck!" I cursed out as I looked at plates that I work seven hours for just to go to nothing. My eyebrows met as I saw what I had worked so hard for come to nothing. This... I'm going to punch him until he doesn't see the light once again.

"I'm sorry, Miss," he said sincerely. I looked up at the Man who poured cold coffee on me. It would have been okay if it was spilled on me, but no, eh.

"It took me a few hours to do that," I answered calmly but my voice was cracking. "I have... I have to submit that later!" I tried and tried to make my plate dry but it got destroyed.

"I'm sorry, how can I help you?" he asked calmly but my blood boiled even more. He will ask where I can help? It's stupid. My eyebrows were still raised and I looked at him.

"How can you fucking help me, really? I have to submit that later, my grades... argh!" I said angerly. That's all I can say.

"Yeah, I'm a fourth year student."

I drink my cappuccino again, while watching him do my plates. That's where I saw his handsomeness in fairness, huh?

His pair of eyes are green, his nose is pointed and his eyebrows are quite thick. Her lips are naturally red and her face is smooth, She's also white, She looks like an American? I think and I don't care.

I shook my head and walked away from them.

"Flirty sperms," I whispered because I was disgusted with men. It's like they're in high school when they introduce themselves in college. I was surprised when someone grabbed my hand and saw Patricio, my brows furrowed in so much anger.

"What?" I asked without emotion. I make sure to tone down my voice because I'm mad.

"You have friends, I have friends so shut the hell up," I said and pulled Phoebe, Olivia and Savannah.

"I'm excited!" Olivia promised. I just rolled my eyes and ignored them, we're graduating students so let's do this first before flirting!

"I'm going to get breed really hard, promise," Savannah said with a laugh.

"Patricio is more handsome, ah, you're his type!" Savannah promised me, but I didn't bother to talk, I don't care.

When we got to the canteen, I just bought a bottle of delight and a sandwich, I sat down and waited for them, they all had rice and a dish, I just had a sandwich, I wasn't hungry.

I start eating when I feel someone staring at me, my eyebrows meet so I look behind my table and give Patricio a bad look!

I start eating but I can't focus because Patricio is staring at me! He is irritating. Why is he looking like that?

They whispered so I was even more annoyed when Patricio suddenly spoke.

"I don't have a fever," I coldly answered. Savannah giggles and Olivia rolls her eyes while looking at me.

"Or maybe you're making out with Patricio!? Yiiee! You haven't had boyfriend yet! NBSB since high school!" Savannah said excitedly, some food still coming out of her mouth that Olivia bit more. I gave her a deadly look and instantly she shut her mouth.

"We should head back to the classroom, break time will soon be over," I said.

"Just a little more, oh! We're about to run out of food," Olivia said so I nodded to her and sat down.

"Are you all done with your plates?" I ask because the deadline is later. I want them to complete their plates.

"I'm done!" Phoebe said happily.

"Especially me," Olivia said proudly while wiping her mouth.

"Same hereee!" Savannah shouted so I covered my ears because of the noise! Many students are looking at us!

"Anyway, Minx, I'll be home later," Phoebe said, making me frown. I know she doesn't like going to their house.

"Can you handle it?" I asked worriedly. I don't want her going home to that Hell house!

"I'm scared... I'm scared that Mama might hurt me but I have to go home to get the clothes I left there." Her lips trembled so I nodded, I don't want to stop her for choosing that choice.

I remember her going home in our Apartment with her eyes filled with tears, her body is filled with so many bruises. Phoebe Mom doesn't want her to go to school, but I'm here to fight for her, I am the one who gives tuition and everything she needs for school. I want her to show that she's not useless and her value is like gold.

"Savannah and I are leaving too! I'm going to work and Savannah's cousin is having a party at your Kuya's club," Olivia let me know so I nodded. I'm going to leave Alone in our apartment.

"Are you okay alone, Minx?" asked Phoebe.

"I'm always alone, tsk." I clicked my tongue. Silence filled the group and then they laughed!

"Why, I feel that way!?" Olivia asked causing Savannah and Phoebe to laugh even more, I just scoff.

"There's nothing like that, Minx!" Olivia said annoyed, making the three of them laugh. Their laughter stopped when someone sat in front of us. My face is still emotionless, Patricio is in front of me, wearing a damn smile.

"Hey, Megs, Megs!" Patricio happily greeted me so my eyebrows met. I don't want to see his face! I just didn't answer. "Why aren't you talking?"

"So, what do you want me to say? I don't like seeing your face." I rudely answered. He just grinned at me.

"Waah! We were fine earlier, ah? I even fixed the plate-" I quickly covered my mouth and looked at him evilly.

"If you don't plaster your mouth," I threatened but the madman just smiled.

"Oh, what are you going to do? Kiss me?" He asked teasingly. My eyes became angry with what he asked. This guy!

"Are you crazy?!" I went down again because my blood was rising.

When we entered the room, I sat with so much annoyance throughout my veins.

"Our blood is hot right now, huh?" Savannah asked laughing as she looked at me.

"Who will be there for you guys when you get broken?" I asked them and they looked at me and gave me the sweetest smile.

"You, Meggay. You will be there for us once again, to comfort us when we feel pain." They smiled at me so I nodded and looked away. They really love me.

The professor came in so we listened. Bwisit, calculus again!? My brain is spinning here! I just listened instead of thinking differently.

"Class dismissed." The Prof said and went out, so I took my bag pack and the plates that I was going to pass at the same time as Savannah Olivia and Phoebe also stood up. I went out first and went straight to Ms.'s office. Farrah.

"You're all improving, aren't you?" compliments of Ms. Farrah. I just kept looking at her blankly. I know because Patricio works is great.

"Of course, Ma'am. Future Architect, eh," Savannah said proudly.

"I, too, will become famous as an Architect!" Phoebe said happily.

"Me too!" Olivia promised. I smiled because we all dream of finishing. All of them will enter my company as architectures. I'm the Head Architecture when I graduate. I hired them right away from mommy so they could join a company immediately after they finished.

I was with them all so I was happy when I saw them stand on the stage holding the diploma. I knew they wanted to be successful and pay me with all the money I spend to them.

"Let's go," I said when we left Ms. Farrah's office.

I got on my motorcycle and put on a helmet. I nodded to them, so they left. I watched their far away bulk before I drove home to our apartment.

After I got home, I took a shower and prepared our dinner. I hope they will have dinner here because I still ate a lot. I also clean the whole apartment and their rooms because I have nothing to do. After I clean the whole Apartment so I sit in the Sofa and eat the bread that Phoebe bought this morning.

I checked my phone and I remember what a senior high student requested me in messenger. I stood up and went to my room. I have many pictures attached to the string with the led light. I always treasure our pictures because one day I will look at them again and be proud because we go through a lot of hardest time but we still stand and fight for our dreams.

I brought my guitar and I clicked the bottom so that my clouds led light would light up. I really like clouds, they are very beautiful to the eyes and relieve fatigue. I turned off the light, the only light left was the lamp shade and led light. I opened the camera and clicked the video recording button.

"Many people are requesting me about this song, so I study this song, And this would be my update for this week," I said softly. And when I started to tap I smiled, I was in the comfort zone again so I started to sing. The only thing that was visible in my Camera was my shadow and the light from the Led light.

I kicked the guitar tone again and turned off the recording. I put my guitar aside and lie down on my bed. I open the air conditioner and post my video in the facebook. I scrolled down and saw Olivia's post so I chuckled.

Olivia tags Savannah. I haha her post. A lot of notifications were showing up on my phone but a comment caught my attention. It was Patricio, so I looked at it not because I wanted to.

"Your voice is as beautiful as you are." My eyebrows raised as many people reacted to his comment so I liked his comment. I blinked and scrolled again. My phone beeped, It was chat! Still Patricio! So, I open it not because I like him but I'm curious.

I rolled my eyes and turned off my phone. I have this kind of attitude, that when I get annoyed with people I lash out. Do they care if I attack them?

I'm not like Phoebe who is sweet and modest, I'm not like Savannah who has strong charisma when it comes to men, and I'm especially not Olivia who can make any man fall in love.

"Why am I comparing myself to them, argh!" I got annoyed and left the room. I stopped at the stairs when I saw Phoebe with her uniform torn and bent over. So I ran so fast to get by her side.

"Phoebe," I called. She looked at me, his eyes filled with tears. She has a wound on his lip and his cheek is red, you can see it because she wear is white. I sat beside her and hugged her tightly. I should keep her safe and comfortable. She started crying so loudly, I felt her tears because I'm wearing sleeveless.

I tapped her back. "Shush, I'm here. I'm here, my Love. I'll be here."

"Am I really... worthless?" he asked weakly while sobbing.

"You have a point, they just don't see it."

"Why..." she cried again. "Why do I have to experience this?" Her hug tightened while crying. I let her cry in my arms because that's the only thing I can do for her, to let her cry everything.

"Why is it necessary..." She stopped and spoke again. "Why do I have to suffer like this?"

"There are millions of people, but why? Why do I need more? Don't I deserve to be happy?" she asked me more.

"You deserve it, they don't deserve it."

"I feel sorry for myself, Minx," she said while crying, she's trembling so much that I had to hug her tightly. She's panicking so much. "I feel sorry because I can't show the worth that I have. I can't show them that I can do what my oldest sister can do," she said crying. I just patted her back. Why can't I do something for her?

"I just want to be happy, is there anything wrong with that?" she asked. It's been a few years but she still feels heavy and she's still not free because I can't do anything for her.

"You'll be happy, not today but maybe the next and the next day. Just trust the process, you will be okay. I will always be with you in all the battles you will face. I will never ever leave you and that's a promise," I softly said and she stopped crying, she looked at me, leaving the hug. Her eyes spark with so much love.

"You won't stay in that situation all the time, because you will be okay. This is just a rain and the rain will stop." I wiped her tears when I said that. She deserves so much, she deserves better and I will give that to her.

"I've always had you with me being like this ever since. I'm happy that I have you, Minx," she said while looking at me carefully. For the first time I smiled softly.

"You deserve to be happy too, Minx."
