Chapter 1 Divorce Letter

"What?"

Nara's breath caught as she realized the existence of a letter that she had not expected. With trembling hands, she began to open the letter and read it through until tears fell from her eyes.

"Divorce papers? This is impossible! How could Evan divorce me without my knowledge? What's my fault?" She muttered in disbelief as she read the letter for the second time.

Nara's tears fell even harder as she realized this reality was not a nightmare. She doesn't know what other bad luck has befallen her, until at this moment her hand is holding a divorce letter from a man who just married her two months ago.

"No! I can't just believe it! I have to ask for confirmation directly from Evan!" Nara thought, wiping away her tears.

She got up from her seat and went to look for her cell phone in the room. Nara was still trying to think positively, until her footsteps stopped when there was a knock on the door from outside.

"Evan? Yes, it must be Evan coming home!" Nara said excitedly as she ran to her door.

Nara tried to put on her best smile to welcome her husband home, hoping that she could have a good talk with Evan. But unfortunately, the man who knocked on her door was not the man she expected. Her eyes rounded as she met the stares of her uninvited guests.

"I'm sorry, what's going on?" Nara took a step back. Her courage dropped instantly as a large man with many tattoos walked up to her.

"Is this really Evan and Nara's house?"

"Yes, it is. Nara is myself, and Evan is my husband. What's the matter?"

"We're going to seize this house! Your husband has borrowed some money from the bank and can't repay it. So from tomorrow, you and your husband can no longer live in this place!"

Like a bolt of lightning in the middle of the day, Nara's strength was shattered. Just moments ago, her mind had been shaken by the sudden divorce papers, and now she was faced with an equally difficult situation.

"This is the remaining payment that you need to pay immediately!" said the bald-headed man, handing over proof of the amount of money that Evan had to pay immediately.

"A hundred million?" Nara asked incredulously.

"Yes, that's right! That's the combined amount of your husband's remaining debt plus interest!"

Nara was breathing heavily. Instantaneously, the corners of her eyes became wet again. She felt dizzy and claustrophobic at the same time. Now it was not only her hands that were trembling, but also her mouth. Nara bit her lip hard, trying to hold back the explosion of tears. But unfortunately, she failed.

"Please don't kick me out of this place, Sir!" She begged, tears falling from her eyes. "Evan hasn't been home in over a month, because he's working in the capital." She continued with a pitying look in his eyes.

"Sorry, we're just doing our job. The certificate of this house is already in our hands, and maybe for more details you can ask your own husband directly," said the man not wanting to argue, and immediately invited his friends to leave the place.

Nara's tears broke out. She fell back against the door, her hands covering her face. Nara had no idea what was happening to Evan, her mind was already in turmoil.

Why did trouble suddenly hit her in quick succession? What did she do wrong to Evan that he would make her like this? The more she thought about it, the more her tears spilled over. Nara felt that she couldn't go on like this, so she finally mustered up the strength to leave.

"Yes, I think I need to find out Evan's address in capital! I need to see him soon, before those loan sharks come back to this house!"

With difficulty, Nara rummaged through the contents of her husband's closet. Even though parts of her body still felt weak, she searched for all of Evan's details. She missed nothing, until her eyes accidentally caught sight of a small book with a pen scribbled in front of it.

"Jasmine Street, Number 30A. There's no mistaking it, Evan must be in this place right now!" said Nara, who immediately tore off the paper and put it in her purse.

At seven in the morning the next day, Nara quickly boarded a bus traveling towards the capital. As she sat, Nara never stopped squeezing the hem of the shirt she was wearing. She was too scared, as this was the first time she was leaving her hometown alone. Nara had never traveled far at all, as she was too focused on taking care of her father who had been ill for months.

"Welcome to the capital!"

Nara was stunned and immediately looked around. After a long journey, she finally reached her destination. So she got off the bus and started asking the people there for the address.

"Wow, this address is still far away! You have to take some public transportation to get there." The person said this, which immediately made Nara check the contents of her wallet.

She only had a few bills left, as Evan had never sent her any money. That was the rest of his savings, most of which had been spent on hospital treatment and his father's funeral expenses.

"I'll just write down here the names of public transportation and their numbers. Hopefully you'll find your husband soon!" The man said this as he returned the piece of paper he had shown her and went on his way.

"Thank you, Sir!"

Nara followed the instructions that the man had written on the paper. She began to board one public transportation and connected with another without fear, even though she was now in a very unfamiliar place.

"Jasmine Street!" She said it softly as she looked at the street sign in front of her.

In the middle of her steps, Nara frowned slightly. She looked confused when she saw several cars parked on the side of the road. Nara hesitantly walked around again, looking for Evan's house. Until finally her steps immediately stopped, along with the sight of a tent with very stomping and heartbreaking writing.

"No! This can't be!"

Chapter 2 The Shocking Reality

"No way! That's my husband?"

All of Nara's strength disappeared, causing the piece of paper she was holding to fall to the ground. A sense of tightness and pain immediately burst into her body, along with the appearance of a man who was no longer familiar to her eyes.

That man was the one she had been waiting to hear from all this time. He was embracing the waist of a woman, not even hesitating to kiss her forehead in front of the invited guests and news reporters.

"No! This can't be! How could Evan be with that bride?" She muttered, tears beginning to fall simultaneously.

Nara tried to catch her labored breath. With the last of her strength, she tried to break through the crowd. The people around her began to stare at her strangely, but she didn't care because her heart was already broken by this shocking revelation.

"Evan!" shouted Nara, stopping the show.

The modestly dressed woman stepped forward even more, bringing all eyes to her. What had been a happy and solemn atmosphere turned tense with a sudden interruption.

"You want to get married again?" Nara asked weakly, looking directly at her husband.

"Damn! How the hell did that stupid girl get here?"

Evan's one hand was clenched tightly, as if he wanted to kick the person who had ruined his plans. He unconsciously stepped forward towards Nara, which unfortunately sparked even more questions from the invited guests who were there.

"Ouch!" Without warning, the man pulled Nara's long hair. Nara tried to rebel, but it only caused her more pain.

Bam!

Evan slammed Nara's body straight into a large pillar. All pairs of eyes that witnessed it were quite surprised, especially after the man's gaze darkened with his tightening grip.

"What are you doing here, Nara? Why do you know this place?" Evan asked, ignoring the stares around him.

Without pausing, he moved on to grip Nara's hand until it turned red. Evan seemed to have no heart, even though the woman in front of him was someone he had once asked to be his wife.

"I should have asked you that, Evan! What are you doing here with that bride? Is this why you're divorcing me? Please explain everything to me! What did I do wrong?" Nara shouted in a voice that sounded like it was shaking violently. Her feelings were now completely shattered.

"Are you asking me why I'm here, Nara? Well, then I'll explain everything!" Evan replied, rubbing his face as he noticed the strange looks from the people around him.

Whether his words had been heard by all of them or not, Evan didn't know. But it was clear that right now he really didn't like the existence of Nara, who had messed everything up.

"Here, look! You see this ring on my finger?" He continued, showing the ring that had just been placed on his finger.

"I'm married to that beautiful woman! She's Bella, an up-and-coming actress who's a far cry from a hussy like you!"

"You're really mean to me, Evan!" Nara said with tears in her eyes.

"I'm mean to you?" The man asked with a faint smirk. "Have you forgotten that we're divorced, Nara? Remember, you're not my wife anymore! We're divorced!"

Slap!

A hard slap landed right on Evan's face. Nara didn't know what courage was possessing her at the moment. But it was clear that she felt very disappointed, as well as hurt by Evan's treatment of her.

"You really don't have a heart, Evan!" She said it with tears welling up. "How could you dump me after you mortgaged my late father's house?"

Evan glared as Nara's voice tightened. One hand grabbed the black hair in front of him and yanked it mercilessly until there was a roar from the people around him.

"You've really humiliated me, Nara!" He snarled as his emotions boiled over.

A second later, Nara felt her body being knocked back down again. She was pushed to the ground by her ex-husband until several security guards arrived and violently dragged her away.

"She's a crazy woman who claims to be my wife! So please keep her out of this place, because I don't want my wedding celebration to be ruined by her!" Evan said it loudly, further provoking the attention of the people around him.

One by one, the camera's spotlight began to fall on Nara as her body was forcibly removed. The glare of the various spotlights really made her look down with embarrassment. But on the other hand, she wanted to scream, asking for justice for all the greed Evan had shown her.

"Please let me go! Evan lied! He lied about everything!" Nara pleaded softly with weakening strength.

Unfortunately, this request did not make the security guards feel sorry for him. She was increasingly carried in an inhumane way, until her body was thrown to the side of a fairly busy road.

"Get out of here, crazy girl! Don't ever disturb our boss's wedding, or we'll report you to the psychiatric hospital!" The security guard chased Nara away.

Nara's tears broke out. With her body shaking, she tried to get up. As best she could, she walked away from the place where Evan's wedding celebration had deeply hurt her.

In her entire life, Nara never imagined she would be treated like this by the man she once loved. She felt it was unfair, but unfortunately, she couldn't do anything about it.

"Why does my life have to be like this, God?"

Nara resumed her steps with a blank stare. She didn't know where she was going at the moment, especially since everything looked so unfamiliar to her.

"Why are you being so mean to me, Evan? You're really bad! Do I have to follow my father's death so that I can feel happy again like before?" Nara murmured again, her vision starting to blur.

Her strength was completely gone. In that instant, her limp body fell into the middle of the highway. Nara had no more hope, so she began to surrender everything before her vision completely turned black.

"Dad, please pick me up in heaven!"

Chapter 3 God of Help

"Hey! Wake up!"

Someone said this, making Nara groan weakly. Without another word, the man carried Nara's body to a much safer place. She was placed in a luxury car and immediately given a bottle of mineral water.

"Who are you?" Nara asked quietly with very pale lips. The man didn't answer but pushed the drink he had given her.

"Drink up!"

"Sorry, but-"

"Just drink it, it's not poison!" Without hesitation, the man helped Nara hold the mineral bottle. His palm accidentally came into direct contact with her cool hand, making his eyes momentarily transfixed on her.

"Why did you help me?" asked Nara a moment later.

Because of the sip of water she had taken, she had gained a little strength. Nara tried to move away to avoid direct physical contact with the man who had helped her, causing the man to frown slightly.

"Why don't you just let me die?"

"Let you die? Are you crazy?!"

"Yeah, let's just say I've gone crazy!" Nara squeaked almost silently.

The man rubbed his face furiously. He quickly threw the bottle Nara had been drinking from into the trash and immediately locked his gaze on the woman he had just helped.

"Are you so frustrated that you think like that? Can all problems be solved by suicide?"

Nara was silent without responding. Her mind was still vividly replaying the bad memories she had just gone through. Until her tears broke out again as she gazed at her wedding ring with Evan, which still sparkled on her ring finger.

"Suicide is pointless! The person who made you like this will only be happier, because you'd rather give up without fighting back!" The man continued, causing Nara to shake her head weakly.

"What does a stranger like you know about me? I'm just a stupid girl from the village! What can I do to avenge the evil deeds of those who have hurt me? I don't have anything at all! I have no possessions! And I don't even have anyone near me who can defend me! "

Nara's tears broke out. She shouted out, releasing all the tight feelings that had been held back earlier. She really couldn't hold it all in anymore, especially now that her brain was completely incapable of thinking clearly.

What was her fate after this? That question kept ringing in her mind. Nara didn't know what she would be like in the future, because she had nothing left.

"Sorry, I'm like this because I know all your problems! I'll help you, Nara!" said the man, who suddenly hugged her warmly.

Nara was so surprised when her name was mentioned. She didn't know who she was talking to, but somehow the man's embrace felt very comfortable and very comforting to her at the moment. Was this man a god of help for her? Nara had her doubts, but the man's gaze looked so sincere and serious to her.

"I'm Dimas! I'll help you get revenge on Evan! Come with me now, and trust me on everything!"

Starting with that offer, Nara was now glued to several towering buildings around her. She had no idea where he was taking her, so she was quite surprised when his face suddenly appeared right in front of hers.

"Welcome to my apartment, Nara!" Dimas said this after helping her unbuckle her seat belt. "You can stay in my apartment for the time being," The man continued with a faint smile that left Nara stunned.

Dimas is actually quite handsome and attractive. But Nara's big question now was about the man's true purpose. Honestly, she was a little doubtful. Especially with the way the man offered her a place to stay, like something very light. Nara is afraid of being taken advantage of again, just like what happened with Evan.

"Here are some servants who will help you, and over there is the place that will be your room!" Dimas continued, taking Nara inside and introducing her to each part of the apartment.

Throughout her footsteps, Nara could only remain silent as she looked closely at her surroundings. Her black eyes continued to round, as if she were amazed by all the luxuries around her. Until now, she was told to wait on a large sofa by the owner of the apartment for a while.

"Here comes the letter! Please read it!" Dimas spoke as he sat directly across from Nara.

For a moment, Nara was transfixed by the sheets of paper in front of her. Until her lips finally moved to ask a question, "What is this letter?"

"Revenge cooperation! That's our agreement to destroy Evan's life!"

Nara got goosebumps when she heard it. Dimas seemed carefree, even though his words sounded very cruel. The man in front of her was kind enough to want to help her, but he was also very scary at the same time.

"Why? Doubt?" Dimas asked with a slight bow.

"No, actually no. But... I'm a little unclear on this part. I have to obey no matter what you say?" Nara said it hesitantly.

"Yes! Just in case you still love Evan. I don't want to be harmed or lied to here!" Dimas replied with emphasis.

Nara felt more and more crushed. She was really in a very difficult position to choose. If she agreed with Dimas, it meant that her whole life would continue to be in his hands. But if she refused the offer, Evan would be even happier that she was suffering with nothing.

"Just sign the agreement! I won't ask you to do anything weird!" The man added a little forcefully.

"Really? Nothing else?"

"Nothing, I just enjoy making your ex-husband suffer!"

Nara's eyes rounded at that answer. She was having a hard time wetting her own throat at the moment. Dimas was not playing around wanting revenge on Evan, making herself even more convinced of the man.

"Okay! I'll sign it! I want to make Evan regret treating me like crap!" She said making a decision.

"Great! You've made the right decision, Nara! After this, get ready! Because tomorrow, we're going to give your ex-husband his first surprise!"
