Matthew Wang is a successful entrepreneur who, along with his close friend Gabriel Bailey, established a large business empire worth hundreds of billions of USD. Three years later, he returned as the renowned War God of Sun Flower Country, known by the moniker Alpha Wolf. With his current status, crushing or choking anyone to death was as easy as a flick of his wrist. Yet, he chose not to reveal his identity too soon, to avoid attracting sycophants and leeches. Upon his return, he discovered the White family had forced his wife to marry the wealthy and infamous lecher, young master Brown, from Blue Sea City. His father-in-law also suffered humiliation and oppression at the hands of the White family. Matthew couldn't stand idly by and watch his wife and father-in-law being tormented. Anyone who dared to covet his wife? He would make sure they could never hold their head up high again! Those who oppressed his father-in-law? He would ensure they could only crawl on all fours for the rest of their lives! Disdain him for his poverty? Sun Flower Country's powerful black cards were limited to fewer than five! However... his wife was angry with him... even the War God had to obediently obey her words...!

Chapter 1 Forced Marriage!

The scent of blood lingered in the air.

Gusts of wind carried the smell of death, blowing relentlessly.

"Sir Alpha Wolf, the enemy has withdrawn from our territory, retreating further inland." James reported with the utmost respect.

"Tell John to stay behind and handle the remaining matters. You, come with me back to Blue Sea City."

The towering, imposing figure of Alpha Wolf always exuded an indescribable pressure. This was the war god of Sun Flower Country, and no one knew his true identity.

Everything about the War God Alpha Wolf was contained in a confidential file, and only two people in the Sun Flower Country could access it.

"Back to Blue Sea City?"

James's expression was somewhat cloudy.

"Yes. We'll leave tonight."

Alpha Wolf made a decisive decision and returned to the headquarters to prepare.

Looking at the majestic figure, James was slightly confused but seemed to have an epiphany.

Everyone knew the reputation of the War God Alpha Wolf, but very few knew about his past.

Before embarking on this military path, Alpha Wolf had been a successful businessman, along with his close friend Gabriel Bailey.

However, for unknown reasons, both were betrayed. one ended up in prison, while the other became a wanderer.

It was through wandering that Alpha Wolf met his mentor, gradually becoming the renowned war god.

In just three years, the War God Alpha Wolf's fame spread far and wide, and the upper echelons of Sun Flower Country sought to form alliances, as did foreign forces.

But perhaps due to suffering too much betrayal in the past, Alpha Wolf remained aloof.

...

Blue Sea City,

The White family residence, Sun Lotus Mansion.

"Alpha Wolf, this is..."

Looking at the unfamiliar, luxurious mansion, James was somewhat doubtful.

"From now on, don't call me Alpha Wolf. My identity is top secret. Call me Matthew Wang."

Still displaying his usual imposing demeanor, his voice softened as he gazed at the mansion.

He shared this home with Isabella, who had suffered greatly for him.

Years ago, he was betrayed and left his wife alone.

He felt immense pain, and now that he had returned in glory, he wanted to give her a beautiful life.

"Let's go."

Matthew signaled James.

James hurriedly followed, his face full of questions.

In the luxurious mansion's living room, the atmosphere was agitated.

"Isabella, think carefully. Today, I'm giving you two choices: either pack up and leave or marry young Master Brown."

The older man leaned on his walking stick, his hair white, exuding the authority of a patriarch.

Lagan White, the head of the White family, and Isabella's grandfather were furious.

"I... I don't like young Master Brown. He..."

Isabella's words were choked by tears, feeling utterly miserable.

Her useless husband had been gone for so many years, and she had endured everything alone, only to now face a forced marriage.

Her heart ached immensely.

"Anyway, I'm already married, so how can I...."

"Bang!"

The sound of the walking cane striking the floor resounded forcefully, as if to demonstrate its owner's authority.

"Getting a divorce certificate today is no difficult task if I so desire." the voice stated, informing Isabella rather than seeking her opinion.

For years, Lagan had been the head of the White family, and no one had dared to defy him.

His word was like a command, to which the only response was "yes" and never "no." This was something everyone had grown accustomed to, so today's situation seemed inevitable.

Lagan wanted Isabella to marry into the Brown family to benefit the White family. The Browns were a powerful and well-connected clan, precisely what the Whites needed. Sacrificing a useless niece for such advantageous connections was a price Lagan was willing to pay.

"Father... Isabella, she... she... can't... everyone knows... that young Brown is infamous for his... debauchery." Lucas White, Isabella's father, couldn't help himself as he watched his daughter cry pitifully.

Although terrified of Lagan, Lucas only had one daughter, and he couldn't bear the thought of losing her, especially since Isabella's mother had passed away early on.

"Silence. You have no right to speak here, you useless fool." Lagan fumed.

Everyone around looked at Lucas and Isabella, amused by the spectacle.

After all, in the White family, Lucas had always been looked down upon. Three years ago, when Isabella married the clever young man Matthew, everyone admired and respected them.

But after Matthew and Gabriel's King & Queen Corporation was taken over by someone else, Gabriel ended up imprisoned, and Matthew went into hiding with no trace. Lucas was left behind, living like a beggar in the White household. Isabella, on the other hand, had proven her worth by securing projects for the family, so she still held some value.

Now that she had caught the eye of the notorious young Brown, it didn't matter if he was a bad guy. Even if he intended to use Isabella as a plaything, the White family would gladly offer her up with both hands.

"Grandfather, I won't marry him. I absolutely won't. Even if Matthew is useless, he is still my husband. He hasn't been found yet, so I can't marry someone else. Besides, I don't like the young Brown." Isabella bravely declared, looking at her pleading father and the mocking faces of her relatives.

"Foolish." the White family members chimed in, stirring the fire pit.

Lagan was being defied for the first time and felt his authority was being attacked. Enraged, his face darkened.

"Damn it, you useless fools. How dare you defy me after I've taken care of you? That wretched Matthew is probably begging on the streets now, and you should be glad to be rid of him. If you can't contribute to the White family, don't stand in the way of our progress." Lagan spat, poking Isabella and Lucas with his walking stick and kicking Lucas to the ground.

Caught off guard, Lucas fell, and Isabella rushed to help him up.

"Grandfather, if you're angry, punish me. My father has done nothing wrong. He's ill, please, grandfather..."

As Isabella cried and held her father, the pair had endured countless humiliations within the White family.

With no other refuge and her father's expensive medical treatments to consider, Isabella gritted her teeth and suffer the family's mockery. She knew they were exploiting her, but for her father's sake, she endured.

"You dare to say that? My family has spent a fortune on your father's expensive medical treatments. Marrying young Master Brown would resolve all of this." he continued.

"I won't say much more. Either willingly go to young Master Brown tonight, or both you and your father pack your bags and leave." Lagan sat down, his voice commanding, confident that Isabella would agree for the sake of her ailing father.

Chapter 2 'Those Who Force My Wife Will All Have To Die!'

At this moment, Lucas mustered the strength to pull Isabella closer and shouted: "No, Isabella, you must not marry that despicable man. Even if I die, I won't allow you to marry young Master Brown."

Witnessing this scene, Lagan angrily hurled a teacup at Lucas, but due to his slow reflexes, it struck Lucas's head instead. Seemingly unsatisfied, Lagan lifted his walking cane, ready to hit Lucas, as a terrified Isabella clung to her father.

However, the cane stopped midair, unable to descend: "Who gave you the right to hit my father-in-law?"

A powerful voice demanded, forcing Lagan to step back. Everyone from the White family stared in shock at the speaker.

"Matthew Wang!?"

"It looks so different..."

"Is it him?"

Everyone in the White family was taken aback, as they hadn't sensed Matthew's arrival.

"You damn brat! I have every right to discipline my granddaughter, and who the hell are you?" Despite feeling the pressure of Matthew's presence, Lagan didn't back down, maintaining an air of arrogance, he sought to assert his position as the consecrated head of the family: "You, a useless man, have no right to say anything!"

Matthew countered, each word a blow to Lagan's ego: "Even if I'm useless, I won't let my wife or father-in-law suffer harm. And for a presumptuous person like you, it's best to remain silent."

With that, Matthew flicked the cane away, causing Lagan to wobble. It took considerable effort for Lagan to regain his footing, his pride wounded in front of his family.

"You dare to speak? Wasn't Matthew once renowned at the top, only to end up as a beggar?" Rosa, a wife of Farley White and the family's second child, mocked.

"Why don't you just leave? Are you here to leech off the White family?" Farley sneered.

Eager to curry favor with Lagan, the couple didn't hesitate to belittle Matthew. Observing this, Dante White, the third son, said: "Why not? Haven't we, the White family, become so famous in recent years that everyone knows us? It's only natural for him to return and seek a meal."

"Is he even worthy?" Lagan's anger slightly subsided upon hearing that, but he couldn't resist looking down on Matthew.

At that moment, Isabella finally realized that the man standing there was indeed Matthew, though he looked darker and more robust than before.

An indescribable aura emanated from him.

"Matthew... when did you come back?"

Matthew clumsily helped Lucas and Isabella onto the chairs.

He tried to be gentle, but his movements were uncomfortable due to years of battle-hardened training.

"I'm back now. I'm sorry for all the hardships everyone has endured. It won't happen again."

Seeing Isabella's tear-streaked, red face, she was still enchanting, being called the most beautiful girl in Blue Sea City.

"Why? Just an apology and it's all over? You..."

All the pent-up resentment and unspoken words.

How much humiliation and endurance did she go through? When she needed him, he left, and what good would his return do now?

"I don't need your apology."

Isabella didn't want to accept his apology.

"Matthew, you're back."

At this moment, Lucas spoke up. After all, Matthew was here, and Isabella wouldn't be married off to that pervert. Although he didn't have high hopes for Matthew achieving anything significant, as long as he refused to divorce, his daughter wouldn't be thrown to the wolves.

"Hmph. Don't think that you two can be at ease with this useless guy here. The same question, Isabella, do you want to scram or get into Brown Young master's bed?"

Seeing Matthew, Lagan felt irritated, but the White family's plan for growth had to continue.

Only Matthew couldn't do anything.

"Take this $10 million, sign the divorce papers, and go wherever you want."

After saying that, Lagan gestured to Farley to prepare the paperwork and money. Farley hurriedly prepared a $10 million check and pre-written divorce papers. They originally planned to forge signatures and use connections to end the marriage.

With Matthew's appearance, things became more manageable.

"Here's a check for $10 million, and here are the papers. Sign them!"

Slapping the check on Matthew's face, Farley sneered.

"You think our marriage is worth just $10 million?"

He spoke with a slightly harsh tone, frowning at Lagan. On the other side, Lagan slowly sat back in his seat, feeling somewhat relieved.

He thought Matthew was complaining about the amount.

"For a poor wretch like you, $10 million is enough. Do you want something for nothing?"

Dante chimed in, hoping to please Lagan.

"Matthew, let me tell you. A young, strong man like you should find a temporary place to live, get a job, and live day by day. That's great. Isabella will be well-dressed and live in a nice house, isn't that good?"

"Right! If you can't care for your wife, let someone else do it. Don't make her suffer."

Rosa added her two cents. Sitting in his chair, Lagan nodded with satisfaction, watching the White family members continue to ridicule Matthew.

"Divorce? Do you want to force my wife to marry someone else? Don't even think about it."

Just then, Gavin, the fourth child of the White family, rushed in, looking anxious: "The Brown master is getting angry, are you all done? It was hard for me to find such a good connection..."

"Thud!"

Suddenly, Gavin was knocked to the ground by of Matthew's teammates, James, with a single punch. Gavin felt numb, his cheek burning.

The faces of the White family members froze, and Lagan didn't expect his beloved nephew to be beaten by a so-called useless person.

"You damned bastard, what are you doing? Do you want to die?"

As he spoke, Lagan stood up abruptly, pointing a stick directly at Matthew's face.

"Bang!"

Unable to contain his anger, Farley charged toward Matthew, intending to land a punch in his face. However, before he could even touch Matthew, James kicked him away, sending Farley's plump body stumbling back onto a chair, his chest aching in pain.

"Who are you to act so arrogantly in the White family's house? Where is everyone?"

Lagan yelled furiously.

James positioned himself protectively in front of Matthew while Gavin, covering his face, scurried behind Lagan.

"Whoever dares to insult my wife must die!"

Matthew's every word pierced the ears of everyone present.

"Where is everyone? Are they all dead?"

Lagan felt humiliated. The White family, after all, was one of the prestigious families in Blue Sea City. How could they let an incompetent nobody insult them like this?

"Isabella is a member of the White family. Whoever I choose to marry her off to, she must follow. Who the hell are you?"

"She's my wife. She's no longer a member of the White family."

Matthew declared confidently.

"You... you... If I want her not to be your wife anymore, she won't be! Where is everyone? They're all gone!"

Lagan trembled with rage.

"If you're talking about the gatekeepers, they won't be able to come in."

James seemed to be reminding him.

The White family members were highly contemptuous, seeing Matthew and James in their shabby clothes and faces covered with dust.

They assumed the two were poor, lowly brawlers who knew a bit of fighting. Deep down, they feared these two would take desperate measures, potentially causing them harm.

All they saw when they looked at the two were cheap disdain. If they knew they were in the presence of the renowned War God Alpha Wolf and General James, one of the four famous generals of Sun Flower Country, they would have been willing to grovel at the feet.

Chapter 3 Leaving The White Family!

"You..."

"Isabella, father-in-law, I'm back. I'll bring justice to both of you." Matthew glanced at the White family members, understanding the humiliation and frustration his wife and father-in-law had endured over the years.

"What can you do? You've been gone for three years, and you still look miserable. How can you help us? My father..."

As Isabella spoke, she cried, feeling helpless and disappointed. She had hoped for Matthew's return as a successful man, able to help her and her father.

But seeing him now, she couldn't rely on him for anything more.

"Matthew, take Isabella away. Even if you live in hardship, don't let her... be trampled on by others."

Lucas felt utterly disappointed, but he knew Matthew loved his daughter nonetheless.

Life might be a bit difficult, but it's better than allowing his daughter to be treated like a plaything and trampled on by those people. This is the only thing he can do for his daughter.

He blamed himself for being so useless.

"Dad, I don't need that."

Seeing her father like this, Isabella felt heartbroken.

"You all are good at playing the family film, huh? Isabella, remember who provided your father with medicine? Without the White family, you and your father wouldn't exist. Think carefully. Either crawl into bed with young master Brown, or get out of here. If you leave, there will be no connection between you two and the White family anymore. Your life and death will not concern us!" Lagan forcefully hit the ground with his walking stick, trying to intimidate Lucas and Isabella.

"Come with me, alright?" Matthew said, not wanting to waste any more words or stay in this filthy place any longer. While Isabella hesitated, she looked at her father and understood that Lagan was right. Her father's medicine costs thousands of dollars a month. Without the White family's support, her father's life would be in danger. But if she stayed, she would be forced into bed as a toy for the young master Brown in exchange for the family's interests.

What would happen to her father if she left?

"No, I can't. My father..."

"Trust me, okay? I will take care of you and your father." Matthew interrupted Isabella. He wanted to make a name for himself and return with dignity, making his wife proud and his loved ones happy. But perhaps, with his current identity, if he revealed himself, it would only attract more pests to cling to him and those around him. It was better to hide his identity. He had old scores to settle and many unresolved issues from the past.

He would personally retrieve everything for his best friend, who was in jail.

"Isabella, you should go. I trust Matthew." Lucas said, not believing that Matthew could do anything but wanting his daughter not to accept becoming a toy for someone else because of him: "If you don't agree, I'd rather die than stay here."

Lucas declared with determination, using all the courage he had accumulated to protect his daughter.

"Father, I..."

"Fine! You're all rebels, causing chaos. You've enjoyed the White family's support, and now you want to turn your back on us. Good, good! If you step out of the White family today, whatever happens in the future, it won't concern the White family." Lagan solemnly announced. Gavin, seeing his grandfather speak up, felt emboldened and puffed out his chest.

"Cousin, it's not that I didn't warn you. But even if you become a toy for young master Brown, it's better than following this useless guy. Brown has promised our family that if you stay with him for one night, he'll let you be in charge of the new project and the White family will have more connections with politicians. Isn't that a good deal?"

At this point, Farley had calmed down. His face twisted as if he feared James, so he didn't stand up but sat and spoke: "This is called missing an opportunity. Even if Brown is a playboy, you're still his wife. Isn't your status more important than anything else? As for that vulgar guy, if you follow him, your father only has one path: death."

Dante, who had been silent so far, chimed in, fearing that the situation would not escalate: "In the end, being the legal wife of a rich man is better than being the wife of a poor one. It would be best if you understood this. Besides, this benefits everyone, and your father can also enjoy your future blessings."

Lucas was treated like an invisible person since they knew that if Isabella agreed, they would all benefit. As for Lucas, he was just a sick man, and they could treat him like a pet dog.

"No, please, everyone, don't push her into the fire pit."

Choked with emotion, Lucas felt powerless.

"Fine! From now on, we don't need anything to do with the White family." Matthew calmly said.

"You're insane. I won't forgive you for this." Isabella growled. How could he be so impulsive?

She was willing to endure hardship for him, but why should her father suffer?

"Trust me. I won't let anything happen to our father."

Matthew gently reassured Isabella while firmly addressing the White family members.

"If we're to have nothing to do with each other, I hope the White family announces it publicly. If you can't do it, I will. From now on, my father-in-law and wife will have nothing to do with the White family. If calamity befalls the Whites family, don't come looking for us."

His words left everyone in the room speechless. But after they came to their senses, the White family laughed it off.

"Ridiculous, as if we would ever need you." Gavin spoke up first.

"If you choose to sever ties, then Isabella will be expelled from the White family. All projects and benefits will be cut off." Lagan declared.

"I..."

"We don't need them! Just make it official." Matthew interrupted Isabella, eager to take his loved ones away without further entanglement.

"If you've chosen to leave, leave the White family house right now." Lagan ordered.

Before he could finish, Matthew quickly supported Isabella, and James helped Lucas. They left with their heads held high. Suddenly, Matthew stopped, turned to Lagan, and smirked mysteriously.

"It seems you've forgotten who this mansion belongs to. No matter what, it will return to its rightful owner sooner or later. You'd better start looking for a new place to live."

With that, he paid no attention to the White family and quickly left. The White family members were stunned.

Indeed, the White family had come to see this mansion as their own.

Years ago, Matthew and his wife had allowed them to live here, providing them with a foothold.

But people can be cold-hearted. Since Matthew's fall from grace, the Whites seemed to consider themselves the owners, while the rightful owner, Isabella, was treated like a freeloader.
