Chapter 1 The club

Loud music kept on playing, filling the air with crazy hip hop beats...the whole place was crowded with people dancing and shaking to the beats of the songs in an erotic manner and as usual Desmond and his best friend Edward were present, they would never miss the chance to have fun on a Friday night. In fact that's the definition of their very existence....Having crazy fun and since they got admitted into college it was as if they had been thrown into a new world and they were very much ready to explore it to the fullest...

[ On the dance floor]

Edward was with his new found girlfriend, Clara and the kind of manner at which they dancing one can't differentiate whether they were in fact dancing or having sex. Edward stationed himself at the back of his girlfriend Clara and he was rocking her ass hard and fast while she kept twerking and grinding her ass against his member.

Freaking hot stuff!

Desmond on the other hand was riding solo today, this discussion was not taken by choice rather by circumstances. You see his heart was recently broken into pieces by a girl he so much loved and this just happened not too long ago, a week and three days to be more precise.

But a heart break won't stop Desmond from having fun at a party right? Well If you can call sitting down and watching while everyone danced in an erotic manner and make out having fun. Yeah, then I guess it's fun...

"Dude come on," Edward called out to his friend in a loud voice due to the loud music playing.

He has come to drag his friend Desmond to the dance floor.

"No man, I am cool here...you go have fun, you don't want to keep her waiting," Desmond said in an equally loud voice, glancing at Clara's direction.

"Are you sure you are okay? Man, you are at a party. I am sure one of these girls will be willing to dance with you, you might even get some pussy tonight," Edward said, trying to entice his friend into changing his mind.

"It's okay man. I ain't interested in any of that." Desmond said and Edward frowned.

"Come on man!"

"Dude you better go back to your girlfriend..I think some dude is about to take her away," Desmond said staring at a direction.

"Shit!" Edward cursed as he followed Desmond's eyes and it led him to his girlfriend Clara being rocked hard by another guy.

The guy had his hands placed on her waist and was just smashing his groin against her ass.

"Back off dude...she is taken!" Edward yelled, grabbing hold of his girlfriend Clara by the hand and taking her away from there.

Desmond smiled softly from where he was as he watched his best friend Edward almost fighting for a girl he knew pretty well he would soon be taking her to the dump truck.

He wondered why it is always so easy for his best friend Edward to use girls and dump them while he is here suffering over a girl that dumped him and has forgotten about his existence.

He wishes he could forget all about her...

"Janet!" Desmond muttered in shock as he saw his girlfriend_ ex girlfriend rather coming into the club with a male figure on dreadlocks.

The guy had his hands firmly on Janet's buttocks as they moved to the dance floor.

"She left me for him?" Desmond frowned and soon after his heart started beating really fast when he watched as the girl he was madly in love with was in the arms of another.

Desmond felt like giving way to tears, all the emotions and feelings of heartbreak that he had been trying to suppress came back to him tenfold and suddenly it felt like the room was lacking oxygen. He was finding it difficult to breathe properly and it hurts really bad.

He stood up from the chair he was seated in and ran to the restroom passing a number of people making out on his way to the restroom, some were being fingered...

Finally in one of the toilets Desmond let out a sorrowful cry as he closed the door behind him, folding himself on the floor of the toilet, his back resting on the door of the toilet he cried even more loudly.

He just wanted to let all the hurt he feels inside out but it seems impossible, he has never felt a pain more painful than this..

"Why? Why are you hurting me so much? I still love her. I still love you so bad....it hurts, it hurts so much.." he kept crying until he was interrupted by the banging on the door.

"Desmond!! Desmond!! Open the door Desmond.."

It was the voice of his best friend Edward.

"Leave me alone!! Go away!! I want to be left alone!! Gooooo!!" Desmond yelled with tears in his voice.

"Man you are embracing me here, what's wrong with you?! Why are you acting like a baby... Man up and get out of that place, it stinks!" Edward yelled trying to put some sense into his best friend.

"I am okay here. Just leave me alone! At least I have found something that stinks just as my life," Desmond said, the tears coming down his cheeks. Edward let out a sigh.

"Come on dude, stop being melodramatic... It's not as if someone died, you just got dumped. Everyone gets dumped everyday. Look at her, she is out there having fun, she has totally forgotten about you and you are here killing yourself. You think by crying and making a fool of yourself that will make her come back to you? No man, it only makes you look desperate and no girl wants to be with a desperate guy, trust me dude."

"I know she still loves me I jus_ " Desmond was cut short.

"Noooo! She doesn't man. She doesn't love you and the earlier you realize this the better for you. She might have even forgotten your name and ask yourself is there anything like love?... The answer is fucking No! It doesn't fucking exist anymore.

Everyone now just wants to have fun. That's what I'm doing with Clara also and when I am done having fun I dump her and the circle continues, it never ends. Seriously man you have to come out of there, it feels crazy weird mw talking to a door, people will start to think am mad or something"

Edward said and after some lengthy seconds the door slowly opened up.

Desmond was standing, cleaning the tears from his face.

"She doesn't love me? Janet doesn't love me anymore?" he asked again like a sad child who had just told Santa Clause doesn't exist.

"Man she might have not even have loved you from the start," Edward said, taking a deep breath.

"You see girls like Janet are only after two things. Money and catching Fun. You were a lot of fun until you started wanting to make things serious. I guess that's why she left you."

"What? Are you saying because I wanted to make our relationship serious that's why she dumped me? That doesn't make any sense," Desmond said.

"Well it doesn't have to make sense to you but it's the fact and that's just part of the reason she broke up with you. You saw that guy she came in with, right?"

"Yeah, I saw him, the ugly guy with dreads," Desmond said in a frown.

"Well that ugly guy is a real G-boy( fraudster) He has lots of cash, man. You can't possibly compete with that, man. You guys had fun but it's time to let her go and forget about her." Edward said just then his girlfriend Clara came to take him to the dance floor...

"Baby, have been looking all over for you. They're playing my favorite song... Let's go and rock!" she said, sounding excited.

"Wow baby! I am right behind you." Edward said, winking at Desmond then went with his girlfriend...

"I have to let her go, I have to get over her.... God what has this girl done to me?" Desmond said softly.

"Those beautiful big eyes of hers, those sweet lips. I have to stop thinking about it?.." Desmond kept talking to himself as he walked out to the dance floor...

Meanwhile Janet and her new boyfriend are still dancing and Desmond's eyes were constantly on the guy's hands that were holding Janet butt.

It was driving him crazy watching them.

"Goshhh! I can't do this. I have to get a drink."

He walked to the bar stand.

"Barman, give me some shots of your strongest liquor," Desmond ordered as he was ready to stagger home tonight.

.....some minutes later Desmond was dead drunk.

"Janet...J..Janet," he called out, totally intoxicated.

"I... Love.. Her..But_" He laughed uncontrollably.

"Barman, give me one more shot."

"I think you have had enough, now it's time to pay up," the bartender said, stretching his hand out for his payment.

"Where...is Janet? Oh I see her there," Desmond said pointing to Janet who by this time was kissing her dreadlock boyfriend and the guy was pressing her boobs underneath her gown.

"Janet, Janet. My janet," Desmond staggered towards her.

"Hey! Where are you going boy? Pay me my money!" the barman yelled but Desmond ignored him as the liquor had completely taken control of him...

Desmond staggered to where his ex was.

"Janet, what are you doing with him? Come with me," he took hold of her hand.

"Desmond?! What are you doing here?" she asked surprised, clearly she was just knowing he was here at the club now.

"Who is he?" asked the guy in dreads.

"I don't know him that much... Let go of my hand!!" Janet barked at Desmond.

"Baby...it's me..your Desbaby

Let's dance... Kiss me," Desmond said, smiling silly, clearly not in his right senses.

Are you mad!!? I see you are drunk. I said fucking let of my hand!" Janet yelled at him.

"Yeah guy back off or I will hit you," the guy in dreads warned.

But Desmond kept staggering and saying nonsense, making a total nuisance of himself while trying to take Janet away.

"She said stay away from her, pervert!" the guy in dreads yelled before landing a swift right hook on Desmond's face causing him to see the stars as he collapsed to the ground unconscious...

There was a lot of commotion happening and this made Edward look in that direction.

"Babe, I will be right back. Let me go see what's happening over there," he said to his girlfriend Clara, who he was dancing with.

"Alright, but hurry up okay," she said then whispered into his ear

"I am already horny for you."

Edward smiled naughtily then quickly pushed through the crowd to see what the fuss was about so he could return back to his girlfriend only to find his best friend, Desmond lying unconscious on the floor.

"Jeez, Desmond! What are you doing?" He quickly got down to him.

"You reek of alcohol man. Sticks!" He checked Desmond and saw he was alive but fast asleep and his phone and wallet had been stolen.

"Gosh, wake up man!" He yelled, giving him multiple slaps on the cheek to wake him up but all to no avail.

"Great! Just great, I will have to carry you all the way to the hostel now." Edward said frustratedly.

Just then the bartender walked up to him.

"Are you his friend?" he asked.

"Yeah I am, any problem?" Edward asked.

"No, just that your friend here took some shots and he hasn't paid yet," He said, stretching out his hand for Edward to make the payment.

"Shit! When I thought it couldn't get worse, now I have to pay for his drinks???" Edward said, talking to no one in particular.

He then turned to the bartender

"How much is it by the way?"

"80 dollars."

"80 what now??!" Edward exclaimed..

Just then his girlfriend Clara came looking for him.

"Baby let's go. Leave that loser friend alone and follow me to my hostel. He has been trouble all night, I am going to give you the best night of your life." she spoke in a very seductive tone.

"Jeez! Why is this happening now God??" Edward looked up in the heavens.

He really wants to eat up Clara tonight but he can't just leave his best friend on the floor like this, he thought.

"Baby hold on let me sort my friend out then we can leave, okay?"

"No way! He has been getting in our way all night. It's either you come with me and have the best night of your life or stay with that useless friend of yours there. Decide," Clara said and she was very sure he would come with her, no one would resist her, she thought.

"Okay then if you put it that way, I guess I have no other choice then." Edward said, looking downcasted.

"Lighten up baby, we are about to have a nice and long night full with sex!" Clara said with a naughty smile on her face.

"Well not me and you. You will have to find another person to do that with you," Edward said.

"Huh.. What? What are you saying?"

"Yeah I chose him," Edward said.

"What does that mean?" she asked, confused.

"Don't you have the brains to comprehend what I am saying? Read between the lines baby, I have just taken you to dump town sweetheart... Bye, bye." Edward said with a wicked smile.

"I hate youuuu!" Clara screamed then ran out of the club in tears.

"Girls be crazy, am I right?" Edward said, looking at the bartender who was waiting for his money with a serious face.

"Desmond you owe me big time for this," Edward said to the unconscious Desmond.

Chapter 2 Caught

Desmond yawned and stretched as he gradually woke up and just then he felt a terrible pain in his head.

"Arggg, my head." he groaned.

"What the hell! Jeez..... " he cursed as his head hurt really badly.

"Haha.. " Edward laughed.

"The sleeping princess has finally woken up," he mocked.

"Mehnnn what happened? Why does my head hurt so bad.....ahhhh!" Desmond kept wailing in pain with both hands on his head.

"Really? You want me to explain that to you? Are you telling me you didn't remember what happened last night?" Edward said, jumping down from the bunk bed he was seated on.

There were two other guys in the room with them. They are Desmond and Edward roommates.

"Man Edward brought you home last night, wasted. You were dead drunk," Charles, one of their roommates, explained, laughing.

"Guy, why do you tell him? He is sitting there asking stupid questions after he embarrassed himself last night," Edward said, giving out a slight mocking laughter.

"What?" Desmond had a shock look. "I was drunk last night?... Well I guess that explains the headache I am feeling" he rubbed his forehead with his palm.

"No, I don't think the pain you are feeling is as a result of the hangover. I strongly believe it's from the punch you received on the head from your ex girlfriend boo," Edward taunted him.

"Huh? I got into a fight last night?" Desmond asked, looking more shocked than before.

"No! What fight? You simply got beaten," Edward teased with a chuckle.

"So where was my so-called best friend when I was being beaten by that jerk?" Desmond said with a frown.

"Me?" Edward pointed at himself.

"No your twin brother, of course you!" Desmond replied and Edward giggled.

"Well I was rocking my life, I mean after that speech I gave to you in the toilet I didn't expect you to do anything stupid so I wasn't focused on you. But you had to prove me wrong, you drank until you got drunk and had to pick a fight with Janet's boyfriend."

"I thought you said we didn't fight," Desmond said.

"Yeah, I can't call that fighting man. He gave you a punch and you became unconscious. Thinking about it just makes me laugh but I was the one that suffered the most cause I had to drag your sorry ass from the club to the hostel," Edward said with a slight frown forming on his face.

"Oh God!" Desmond exclaimed, "I am starting to remember. Gosh! This is so embarrassing. I made a total mess of himself, right? And in front of Janet....I am so foolish," Desmond said, cursing himself.

"Sadly it's true." Edward said and Desmond frowned angrily at him.

"I am talking about the fact that you embarrassed yourself, not the foolish part. You are not foolish, only naive to have fallen in love," Edward said, almost sounding sorry for Desmond.

"But seriously Desmond what did you see in that girl Janet that has made you fall madly in love with her? I agree she is pretty but there are a lot of other pretty girls around and I dare say I have seen girls prettier than her," Charles said.

Desmond didn't say anything, he is still feeling the effects of the hangover from last night over drinking to start explaining himself.

"You guys should leave him alone, haven't you ever been in love before," Wale, the fourth guy, joined in the discussion.

Edward and Charles laughed at his words.

"What's funny?" Wale asked, puzzled.

"Really? Because we helped you with Chichi you think you have become an expert in love matters, right?" Charles said, still laughing.

"You are not serious and you didn't help me with Chichi," Wale argued.

"Oh! Is like that, right? You want to deny me, right?" Charles said.

"Okay... maybe you helped but only a little," Wale admitted.

Just then Edward phone started ringing. He picked it up from where it was laying on top of the bed and when he saw who was calling he hissed irritatedly and threw the phone to the bed.

"Who was that?" Desmond asked.

"Nobody," Edward replied, nonchalantly.

They continued their conservation but Edward's phone kept on ringing and it was starting to irritate them.

"Would you pick your call for Christ sake!!" Desmond exclaimed,"Who is even calling and don't you dare say nobody."

"Nobod_ " the words nobody was already about coming out from Edward's mouth before Desmond warned, "It's Clara." He said passively.

"Clara? What Clara are you talking about here?.....don't tell me it's the same Clara you couldn't get your hands off her body last night.... " Desmond kept on speaking in disbelief.

"Jeez, man! Okay I will pick the call. So please stop with all the lecturing," Edward said before answering the call.

"What do you want," he said rudely when he answered the call.

"Baby I am sorry about yesterday," Clara said with a sad tone.

"Don't you get it? It's over between us. We are done, the chapter is closed, the road is blocked... Do you want me to continue?" Edward said harshly.

Edward's friends were all shocked at how he was talking to her, they knew he was fond of breaking up with girls but not this soon and certainly in that kind of manner...

"Baby, it's me Clara.. " she said.

"So what?! Now listen to me, don't you ever call my number ever again!!" Edward yelled on the phone then ended the call.

All their eyes were fixed on him and their stare tells a story.

"What?. Why are you guys staring at me like that," Edward said defensively.

"Are you seriously asking that question, Goshhh..... What did that poor girl ever did to you apart from agreeing to be your girlfriend," Desmond said

"Trust me you don't want to know.... It's over between us that's the main thing," Edward said sitting down on the lower bunk bed.

"Congrats man you have just broken your record of 1 months and 2 days and the new record is a week," Wale said, applauding him.

"That's just so ridiculous. You guys dated only for a week??! " Charles said in astonishment.

"Wow! I didn't know you guys keep count. Well if you are to keep count you might as well have the correct figure. I broke up with her yesterday night so technically we only dated for 6 days," Edward said smiling.

"You think this is funny?" Desmond stepped in shaking his head, "By the way where is my phone can't find it?"

Edward laughed hard.

"What's funny?" Desmond said, looking confused.

"Guy, don't bother asking for your phone, okay? Because they stole your phone and your wallet yesterday." Edward said.

"What!!? My IPhone!" Desmond exclaimed.

"Why are you shouting? Someone will think whether it's IPhone 12 not knowing it's only IPhone8. Guy I think it's a blessing in disguise, so go buy a new and better phone and by the way you are owing me 70 dollars for the drinks you took yesterday," Edward said keeping a straight face.

Desmond just kept wailing throughout "Oh God my phone!! Do you know how much I had to save to buy that phone... When will I get another phone now?.." Desmond kept lamenting.

"Guy, it's okay. Will you stop nagging? Okay don't pay me the 70 dollars again." Edward said and Desmond hissed.

"Who is paying you, before? Are you not the one that forced me to that stupid party in the first place?? Now they have stolen my phone and my 20 dollars in my wallet."

"Alright I agree it's my fault. Sorry, okay? I will get you a new phone but for now you have to be phoneless, okay?" Edward said, trying to stop Desmond from complaining.

"You don't have to mock me man, get me a new phone indeed," Desmond rolled his eyes and continued wailing.

"Do you doubt me?" Edward said, sounding surprised." When did I ever promise you something and failed?? Tell me."

"Really? Are you asking me that question?? I have lost count of how many times you have failed to keep to your word."

"Like when?"

"Really? Okay, remember Biola from highschool? Queen, Linda and_ " Desmond was cut short by Edward.

"It's okay, I am not talking about girls here you know I don't share my girls," Edward said.

"Really? I really liked those girls I mentioned in high school. I begged you to leave them for me but noooo you have to date every single one of them and break their heart, thereby ruining my chances of being with them because they hated you for breaking their hearts and me for being your best friend." Desmond said, frowning.

Edward laughed,"I am sorry man but let's forget about girls. Have I ever broken my promise apart from those girls you mentioned and the ones not yet mentioned?"

Desmond thought hard," ..... I guess No."

"Yeah exactly," Edward said smiling...

"But wait," Charles interrupted them. "Your phone is an iPhone, right Desmond?"

"Yes it is. Why?" Desmond said.

"We can track and find out where it is," Charles said.

"Can we really do that?" Desmond asked, almost overexcited.

"Yeah I think we can," Wale backed up Charles thought.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Edward said....

Moments later they had tracked the phone to the female hostel.

"We are very close according to the GPRS tracker," Charles said leading the way.

As they took a couple of steps forward they saw a beautiful girl seated on a bench trying to figure out something on a phone.

As Desmond sighted the phone in her hand he quickly recognized it as his phone. He had used the phone to an extent that they could communicate telepathically...

"That belongs to me," Desmond said, frowning down on the girl seated on the bench.

They had made a circle around her. "I said that phone belongs to me if you try denying I will alert everyone that you are a thief and you know what they do to thieves inside campus," Desmond threatened.

"I am sorry.... I didn't mean to take it." she said, making an innocent face.

"You mean steal it!!" Desmond said in a low but angry tone.

He was really angry but he was also amazed at how pretty the girl was and unknowingly to him he was already checking the girl out.

"I am really sorry don't alert anyone to take the phone," she said, handing it over to Desmond.

She had been trying to unlock it but to no avail.

"And my wallet containing my money?" Desmond barked pretending to be angry.

"I am not with your wallet or money sir, please you have to believe me." she said, almost crying.

"Shut up! You thief," Edward said scornfully.

"I am not a thief," she said in a low teary tone.

"Yes you are!!! We should alarm others and they should give her the beating of her life." Wale suggested and her eyes widened out in fear.

Chapter 3 A Visitor

"Please, I have given you back your phone, let me go. I promise I know nothing about any wallet. I am not with anyone's wallet, I swear, " she said looking around to check if people were noticing what was happening.

"So what are you saying that we should let you go like that? Do you know how much was inside that wallet?" Edward said.

"I don't know anything about the wallet," she said, shaking her head.

"Really? Okay I will tell you inside that wallet is the sum of...."

"150k, 15k" Edward and Desmond said respectively, given different answers.

They stare at each other and Edward quickly whispers something into Desmond's ear.

"Let's go with 150k, okay?"

Desmond thought for a while and decided to go with the flow.

"Yes I mean 150k, that's the amount inside my wallet," he said, coughing out slightly as he was obviously lying.

"Ahhhhhh!" The girl cried out, "I don't have any money. I didn't take your wallet. I am sorry I left with your phone but that's because you gave it to me, I swear I am telling the truth." she pleaded with them.

"Ssssshhhhh," Edward hushed her up with a finger across his mouth as a sign for her to shut up.

"I don't want to hear any sound, you are trying to sell us lies, right?"

"No I am not, please believe what I say." she said, and she looked like someone about to burst into tears.

"Guys we are wasting so much time, if she refuses to bring out the money we identify her as a thief and the rest is history. I am sure after she gets a serious beating she will be more cooperative," Wale said gesturing angrily.

"No, please don't do that, they will kill me." she said this time she was already crying.

Desmond's heart was already softened by her tears but he didn't want to show it by his actions so he kept quiet.

Charles hadn't said anything since they came but he finally spoke out, " Guys hold on, no need to alarm the whole school. I think here is a way we can settle the matter without violence."

"Man, I think violence is the only way for thieves like this," Wale said.

"Let him speak," Desmond said to Wale but his gaze was fixed on the girl.

"Well if she can't pay us in cash then she pays us in kind," Charles said, smiling.

"What!!" Both Desmond and the girl exclaimed in shock.

"No! I can't do that, please." The girl pleaded.

"What's wrong with you, how can you bring that kinda suggestion?" Desmond whispered angrily to Charles.

"Relax man, I wasn't talking about that type of paying of the kind you are thinking about," Charles said laughing slightly.

"Then what are you talking about?" Desmond asked.

"Well she has to work for us, home service. Run errands for us, those kinds of stuff. Until the 150k is exhausted," Charles said.

"Like a slave?" she asked, looking terrified.

"Nobody is going to be anyone's slave, okay? But I like the idea of working for the lost money so you will have to do something for me," Desmond said.

"And what's that?" She asked.

"You see, my girlfriend was stolen from me recently and I want her back." Desmond said.

"I am sorry about that, but what does that have to do with me?" she asked looking, puzzled.

"This is it.... The four of us will ask 1 request from you each, don't worry no one will sexually harass you, you have my word. When you complete them you are free to go and I have told you my request already.. You are going to help me get my girlfriend back," Desmond said.

"But....what if the requests are something impossible to do? Because I am not a magician. How can I get you back with your ex?" the girl said and she was beginning to scan for a way to escape.

"Don't you even think about it. You are scanning around right? You want to run away, is that not so? " Edward said in a frown, attempting to hit her.

"It's alright guys," Desmond said, holding Edward back with an outstretched arm, then turned to the girl.

"See, what's your name?" he asked the girl that looked really terrified at this point.

"I..am, Sylvia." she muttered.

"Hope that's your real name," Desmond said, staring at her suspiciously.

She nodded, "Yes."

"Alright Sylvia. You just have to do your best to fulfill our request but if you tried your best and it didn't work you are free to go. However, note you must try your best first," Desmond said and he had a weird smile on his face.

"I don't know about this, it doesn't make any sense at all, let's just teach her a lesson so she won't try this ever in her life again," Wale said.

"No I am with Desmond on this, a request from each one of us seems fair enough," Charles said.

"What about you Edward, surely you are not in support of this? I mean this girl deserves to pay," Wale said.

"I don't like the plan nor do I like the girl. You are right she deserves to pay but I am with Desmond always. You should know that by now," Edward said, letting out a faint smile.

"It's settled then or do you prefer the plan of my friend here?" Desmond said to Sylvia, pointing to Wale.

She shook her head.

"Alright then we should shake on it, then." Desmond said, stretching his hand.....

Once they were done with that.

"Let me give you this piece of advice, if you like run away, I will find you just as we find you now and I will break every single bit of bone in your body," Edward threatened her.

"I promise I won't run," Sylvia said terrified. She did have plans of not fulfilling her end of the bargain but that thought disappeared from her head as she was extremely terrified of what Edward would do to her.

"Very good them we will be expecting you tomorrow morning then, don't be late," Edward said and the four of them walked away leaving her shaking in fear...

"Do you think she will show up?" Desmond asked on the way.

Edward laughed,"Not a chance, we have just told her goodbye for good, we ain't seeing her ever again."

"Yeah, I guess you are." Desmond smiled.

"It was a crazy idea anyways."

"But why do you have to bring up your ex-girlfriend Janet in every conversation? You have a problem and it's called obsession," Charles said.

"Leave him alone, it's love not any stupid obsession." Wale said.

"You don't even talk, you were just saying let's beat her, someone's child. Don't you have a sister at home or any sympathy whatsoever??" Charles said to Wale.

"I was only joking. I was only trying to act tough. I knew we wouldn't harm her." He said then laughed.

"Like seriously Desmond doesn't have 150k in his wallet in the first place."

"Yeah it is crazy but why didn't the girl say anything about that? Because if she is with my wallet she would most definitely know how much is inside it," Desmond said.

"Because she is not with it. Someone else stole the wallet," Edward said.

"You think?" Desmond asked.

"Yeah. That's why she didn't know how much was inside the wallet but that doesn't change the fact that she is a thief, she might have stolen it if someone didn't beat her to it, so she isn't getting my sympathy." Edward said.

"Yeah true but the girl is really pretty. Why is she stealing when any guy can give her what she wants?" Charles said, surprised.

"Yeah I am surprised about that also," Desmond also said.

"Me too," Wale added.

"But I am not. Prettiest girls do the craziest things, don't let their pretty face deceive you. This is a classic case of wolves in sheep's clothing." Edward said...

The fours friends talked and laughed about what happened as they walked to there hostel and they all came to the realization that they won't be seeing that pretty thief again

But they were satisfied with the fact that they retrieved Desmond's lost phone.

********

The next day, Sunday morning.

The boys had gathered money together to prepare noodles and eggs and Wale was the one serving the food because he was the one that cooked the meal and as expected he had the largest portion of the food.

"Guy, please add small noodles to my plate, mine is too small," Charles was complaining as usual.

"What? Guy you know the rules.

He that cooked will 'bellyful' " Wale said carrying the pot of noodles out of the reach of his hungry friend Charles.

Desmond and Edward kept on laughing as they watched as the both of them struggled for the pot of noodles.

"Hahaha.... classic Sundays,

" Edward said laughing just then they heard a knock on their hostel door.

"Jeez, those boys from room 36 have come here to beg for food, again." Wale said angrily, hiding the pot of noodles.

"Come on man haven't you heard the phrase 'There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.' So always be happy to share your things," Desmond said jokingly.

"I hear you, haven't you heard this phase also.'There is more joy and satisfaction in eating alone??'" Wale replied.

They all laughed.

"Let me go check who the person is," Charles said walking to the door with only his boxers on.

Opening the door "What's up__ Jesus!!!" he shouted, slamming the door shut.

"Now we discuss on how to get my girlfriend back," Desmond said, sitting down facing her.

"Are you sure that's what you want?" she said.

"What do you mean?" Desmond said, puzzled.

"Do you want to go back to a girl that dumped you? I mean its__ " she was cut short by Desmond.

"She didn't dump me, she was stolen from me and she still loves me. I know she still loves me, so just help me out and stop giving me advice, okay?" Desmond said a little bit angry.

"Alright, I am sorry. If you think she still loves you the only way we can get her back is to make her jealous." She said,
