The President's Affair

Jason POV

I can't explain how I feel at these times. I try to absorb in my brain what Jaya said. Very heavy lines she left before she entered the Comfortroom. I didn't quite think it would all end just because I called her SUNSHINE.

"Great Jason you forgot, she's so slow." I whispered to myself and pulled my hair. I took a deep breath then looked again at the door of the CR. Why even lead to such a conversation? A simple call to her SUNSHINE happened but it ended up in heavy lines.

I will admit I was hurt when I saw the sadness in her eyes. I cried at the lines she told me earlier. I feel like another Jaya is with me. Can I really take care of her in case what we both have comes true?

Wait what? I was aroused when I felt my cellphone vibrate. I took it out of my pocket and saw Ashton calling.

"Yes?" I asked.

(Mr. President, you will eat together later, the President of the USA said that the other one he was waiting for to attend the meeting has also landed, will you give anything?)

"What will be given?" I asked.

(Didn't I tell you earlier that the Saudi prime minister wants you to bring some Filipino food?)

"Shit! i forgot." I exclaimed. I heard her sigh on the other line so I was very close.

"I'll take care of it Ashton thanks." I said.

"By the way Ashton I want to tell you a lot. I wish we could meet later when the meeting is over." I said.

When he said that I interrupted our conversation. What happened before came back to my mind. I looked at the door of the CR. I slowly approached the door and knocked.

"Jaya? I'll just go out for a moment for--" I didn't finish what I was going to say when the CR door opened.

My eyes widened when I saw Jaya wrapped in a towel. I was immediately swallowed up in succession and nervousness, What is happening to me? I feel ..... Ahhhh Damn! what am I thinking?

"Maybe I'll melt?" She suddenly said so I looked around and immediately bowed then turned around.

"S-sorry." I stammered sorry.

"I-i n-need t-to g-go?" Damn, why am I stuttering ?!

"Hmm even if you don't come out." my eyes widened at what she said and I immediately looked at her, she was immediately surprised when I looked at her badly.

"Are you trying to seduce me woman?" I asked and swallowed again when I saw the wrapped towel on her. Does she have a lining inside that towel? Ahhhh bad Jason!

"Huh? Did you say that? I'll just take my clothes from the bed I forgot, then I'll go back to the cr to get dressed you don't have to go out, it's embarrassing maybe the guards think you're under with me. There you're not happy."

"What's under with me?" I asked. "No." she replied then went to the bed and took her clothes and then re -entered the CR.

I took a deep breath as she closed the door of the CR. I was feeling there was a monster inside me that wanted to disappear because of what I saw. Bad Jason.

I waited a few more minutes and he was already out of the CR with clothes on her head and now the towel to dry her hair.

"Jason? Did you see my chocolates?" She asked.

"WHAT?" I shouted causing her to be surprised.

"Why are you shouting? I'm just asking if you saw my chocolate." I immediately came back to reality. I thought what kind of chocolate was she asking that annoyed me, why do my mind is so green?

"I-i don't know." I said and averted my eyes.

"Where is that?" She asked in the air and pouted. Damn.

"Later we will eat with the president of the USA and the Prime minister of Saudi." I said reason to stop her.

"No need. It's just you Jason I want to sleep--"

"You have to be with me." I interrupted.

"But I do not want to."

"And why?"

"Because I'm just out of place." she replied.

"But I'm here." I moaned.

"But you're there for your business and not for me." I was stunned by the seriousness of her voice.

"Jaya please--"

"I'm getting tired Jason, I told you to just leave me in the Philippines."

"For what? So that you can be with Jared? So that you two can be alone? So that you can do what happened? It's like while I was here in the USA and I was busy being president, you were having fun there ?!" I shouted.

Jaya's face became more serious but she immediately smiled hard. And again I saw the sadness in her eyes that made me conscious of what I had said.

"If that means for you, go ahead and i pretend it's just like that." she said then turned to me and faced the suitcases and pretended to be looking for someone even though she had a chocolate in her hand.

"Jaya ..."

"Hmm get ready to rest first later, I'll just wake you up when the party is about to start, I'll come with you later to reduce your jealousy." My eyes widened because of what she said. Reduce my jealousy? What? I'm jealous? No!

Jason POV

"Do I really have to bring those Jaya?" I asked the person next to me who of course was chewing chocolate again.

"Hmm so I don't get bored." she replied. "But you sent a box to Ashton."

"Tss, Just follow me. Please?" She said then refocused her eyes on the food she was biting. It's good that her tooth doesn't hurt? What is this woman's toothpaste?

"Here we are." I whispered then looked at Jaya who was chewing chocolate, I saw she had chocolate on the side of her lip so I immediately approached her direction and wiped the side of her lip with my finger. Sh was obviously surprised at I did so I just gave her a smile.

"Come on?" I asked.

"Hmm." She nodded then smiled hard, I was immediately taken aback by what I did so I avoided looking.

The car door opened and Ashton opened it and paid more respect to me when I came out. The red carpet greeted us and press con at the end we turned some soldiers along with the USA precedent who turned to smile at us. This includes his wife.

Next Jaya came out, she smiled at everyone while holding her chocolate.

She's so weird. Isn't she embarrassed? She stood up straight and then whispered something to Ashton that I frowned at. Ashton nodded. Will they betray me face to face?

She turned her eyes to me again then smiled and then looked at the press then started to walk until she stopped knowing I didn't follow her so she turned to me and then raised an eyebrow. I averted my eyes and then walked closer to her.

When she was next to me, I held her hand, which surprised her. She even looked at me in installments and then smiled hard. We continued walking until we were in front of the president of the USA and his wife

"Good evening Mr. Philippine President, and you too Ms. Jaya." was the formal greeting of the USA President

"Good evening too nice to be here with you both" I said to the two I saw Jaya smile at the USA president's wife before biting the chocolate. I saw the couple's expression as they turned to look at Jaya who was chewing chocolate.

"You want?" Jaya offers to two. "No thanks." the two said at once.

"Ah, I'm sorry for that, She loves chocolate." I whispered then whispered to Jaya.

"Is it okay for you to stopped what you eating? You're embarrassed even now?" I whispered, But she didn't seem to hear it.

"Ah lets go?" When the wife of the precedent in front of us changed.

"By the way where's the prime minister of Saudi?" I asked.

"He's inside waiting for us." Anthony replied the President of the USA.

"Hmm so were late? For how many minutes?" I asked.

"No, no your not late, he's just too early" he replied, So I was relieved. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by expensive things. I looked at Jaya who was gaping as she looked around the whole place we were walking.

I'm sure this one was amazed again. When we arrived at the dining room a large and long table was waiting for us with the Saudi prime minister and I was surprised to see some high -ranking governors or foreign administrators.

"I thought I and the Prime minister of Saudi only are invited here for meeting?" I asked Anthony.

"No this is not a meeting." he said so I frowned. "What?" "I called you all to have a free time to me, for me i guess? No i mean for me and for my wife hmm actually its our 10th anniversary so we will be celebrating it now then tomorrow we will be having a trip with them." it explained so my forehead wrinkled even more.

"Seriously?" I asked incredulously. "Wow amazing." Jaya groaned as everyone looked at her at the same time.

"Mabuti naman kung ganon (Nice to hear that) ? Ughm annoying why did I forget to speak english?" She whispered to hirself then smiled at everyone.

"Ah yeah! Congratulations for both of you? Alam niyo kase sa panahon ngayun wala nang tumatagal na relasyon gaya niyo (You know this year, I mean this generation is not a long relationship like that.)" said Jaya so I laughed it looks like not everyone understands what she said.

"She said your relationship is so strong." I said. "Yah and you know what I'm hungry." she said.

"Oh nice to meet you I'm Habdul Amnar Prime minister of Saudi." groaned the Prime minister of Saudi so I laughed even more. "No she means she's Hungry can we eat now?" I said.

"Ow I'm sorry I thought Hungry is her name by the way what is your name?" He asked Jaya.

"Ah my name is Jaya." she said so I looked at her but she just smiled then whispered to me "They're stupid to talk to." she whispered so I laughed a little. "Ughm nice name Jaya? Right?" Said the ambassador of India.

"Lets eat?" I asked."Hmm sure." everyone said. Jaya and I avoided looking at each other. Embarrassing!

Jason POV

"So Mr. Philippine President, what Filipino delicacy did you bring for us?" The Prime Minister of Saudi asked me. I immediately swallowed and looked around at my companion. Almost all of them brought food from their country but me. It's embarrassing why did I forgot.

"I'm sorry but i didn't--"

"We brought some Filipino special foods." Jaya interrupted so my forehead was wrinkled.

"Jaya we didn't bring anything." I whispered but she ignored me.

"Just give me a minute I will call our friends." said Jaya and stood up I immediately turned to my companions who were smiling.

"I will follow her." I replied then stood up and followed Jaya. I immediately followed her down the hall way.

"Jaya! Wait a minute what are you saying?" I asked so she stopped.

"Come back inside Jason I'll just take the ones I brought." she said.

"But we didn't bring anything."

"You don't, while me i have me." she said then continued walking as I passed her.

"Why don't I know? And which Friends are you referring to?" I asked.

"Because you didn't ask, I'm referring to Ashton so go back inside to--"

"For what? For Ashton to be with you?" I asked so her face immediately turned serious.

"If that's what you're thinking, go ahead and i'll pretend it's just like that." she said then removed my hold on her arm

"He has the things I brought." She said and took a deep breath.

"Why don't you stop somewhere?" I asked annoyed.

"Why don't you trust me?" She asked annoyed so I was stunned.

"Look Jason, I'm here to come with you to reduce your jealousy, but fuck, it seems to have increased even more? Jason, are you thinking? Can you put your jealousy aside first? I don't want to embarrass the Philippines with those in that damn room. that's why if you can just go back inside and I'll take what I'm carrying." She said seriously then took a deep breath.

"You know I'm slowly thinking of quitting." My eyes widened because of what she said.

I was immediately nervous about what she said and how she behaved. Gradually, she was about to leave,She looked at me as if she was choking and she was struggling

"I hope this time even just this day you can trust me." she said then walked away from me.

I was left stunned in the hall way as I looked at what Jaya had gone through earlier. Why did what she told me have such an effect? I was scared, I was scared that she might let go like she said. I went back inside with a forced smile and smiled at those who were there while waiting for Jaya.

"Were here!" Jaya said enthusiastically that she was carrying a carton so I looked at her followed by Ashton who was carrying two large cartons and two other guards who were carrying two cartons each.

"What's that?" The Korean Ambassador asked with a smile.

"Hmm let me introduce to you our Filipino best specialties." said Jaya then opened a box from don she took out a chocolate.

"A chocolate?" Prime minister of Saudi aid.

"Yah its our best chocolate in the Philippines we called this LALA this one is made in pure cocoa powder and cow milk." said Jaya and took out another chocolate.

"And this one we called this Piso piso because in the Philippines this chocolate is only worth One Peso." she said while Ashton gave our companions one wrapper of the said chocolate. I laughed when I saw Jaya who was happy as she watched those in front of her.

"Y'all try to eat those chocolates." Jaya said and took a bite of a chocolate. Everyone with us also took a bite of the chocolate.

"Hmm its delicious." "Yah you're right." "I think i will start to like Philippine chocolate."

"Ahh this one this one." Jaya said and approached a carton. She opened it and my eyes almost widened at what I saw she come out of.

"A fish?" Ambassador of India.

"Yes but this fish is what we called TUYO." Jaya said then smelled it.

"Fuck why didn't Jason hire an interpreter." I heard her whisper then took a deep breath.

"This one is ughmm what do you call that? Ah right this fish was take a sun batting." I immediately laughed at what Jaya said.

"What?" USA President.

"Bwiset, kailangan ko pa ba sabihin sa inyo kung ano mga dala namin? (Damn, do I need to tell you more about what I'm saying?)" Jaya asked annoyed so I stood up.

"She said this one is the best fish in the Philippines." I groaned so everyone nodded. Ashton gave me all the two dry wrappers. Jaya opened a carton again and almost slapped me. when she came out.

"A fish again?" asked the USA President's wife.

"Yes but this one is what we called DAING." Jaya said.

"Oh really?"

"Yah daing is the sister of Tuyo." Jaya said so I laughed. Given all that, Jaya reopened another carton. From there she released a caravan of ... ALAMANG?!

"Whats that?" Prime minister of Saudi.

"This is what we called Alamang." said Jaya then ordered Ashton to give all of them the Alamang.

"This one is the missing mother of Tuyo and Daing."

Hahahahahahaha can I laugh? Hahahahahah Damn,I've been holding back my laughter before.

"Oh really?"

"Yes your plastic you know that?" Jaya.

"What?"

"She said your hairband is plastic she like that." I groaned and smiled.

Jaya once again opened a carton the last carton and I was almost mapped cheaply by what he said.

"And this one is what we called JASON'S EGG."

See?

"What?" At the same time, my companions looked at me so I laughed hard.

"She's joking." I said.

"Tss but in other term we called this BALUT, balut means JASON'S EGG. because Jason's Egg is too small and smelly hehehe."

Fuck you Jaya!

"Common try to eat Jason's Egg its delicious."
