Chapter 1 I Will Revenge, Dead or Alive

Alyssa Graham pushed open the door and saw Ryan Young, her boyfriend, having sex with another woman in bed.

That woman's slender arms were wrapped around the man's neck, and her bright red lip prints were all over the latter's naked body. Alyssa immediately knew what was going on without asking.

Alyssa tried hard not to let the tears fall, and the look in her eyes was stubborn. "Ryan, what does this suppose to mean?"

"What a fool! Why even bother asking? Didn't you see it all?" Ryan held the enchanting woman tightly in his arms and gently stroked her hair. "I'm no longer interested in you, Alyssa."

"You are lying. You've just said you loved me yesterday!"

"Nah, that's a lie. Otherwise, how could you have transferred all the money of the Graham Family to my account? Now that I have obtained the Graham Family's wealth, why should I put up with you for any longer? You have such a bad temper and do nothing all day long. Also, you treat me like a servant. Who do you think you are? You were the young lady of the Graham Family. But now, all those that used to be yours are mine. I can easily get any woman I fancy."

While listening to Ryan, who had always been loyal on the surface, Alyssa became utterly stunned.

They met and fell in love in college. However, it turned out that the three-year relationship was nothing but a beautiful yet hurtful lie. Those details that happened in the past three years, such as Ryan waiting in line to buy food for her, holding an umbrella for her in the rain, waiting for her overnight under her dormitory building after their quarrel, came to Alyssa's mind one after another.

After they graduated from college, Alyssa's father wanted to marry her into the Hunter Family. When the Hunter Family's wedding convoy came to pick her up, she jumped out of the hotel dressing room. She eventually prevented the marriage by a suicidal attempt. From then on, the entire Graham Family grew sick of and even hated Alyssa. Besides, because she fell from a high building, Alyssa's kidney was seriously damaged and almost killed her.

Suddenly, a sharp female voice interrupted Alyssa's recollection. "Miss Graham, haven't you figured it out yet? You're just a tool for Ryan to get your family's money. Now that he has made it, you're no longer useful. Stop thinking so highly of yourself. Yes, you used to have the Graham Family standing behind you as you are the family's daughter. Now, even the residence of the Grahams is on fire. Do you still think you are a young lady better than others? Nah, you're just a bitch!"

"Don't talk nonsense."

Alyssa rushed over to the other woman, trying to scratch her face. Instead, however, Ryan slapped Alyssa fiercely.

She turned around and happened to see the video playing on Ryan's phone. In the video, the Graham Family's villa was drowning in the sea of fire. And piercing screams could be heard at the same time.

Alyssa stared at the screen and could not believe what she saw.

Everything was fine when she went back the day before asking for money to transfer to Ryan.

Soon, Alyssa came to her senses and grabbed Ryan by the collar. "How could you do this?"

Ryan pushed her away in disgust, saying, "It's all your fault, you stupid woman. Do you know that I almost got killed by you yesterday? You blatantly asked the Graham Family for money, and others certainly saw my purpose at a glance. Last night, if I hadn't followed you, I would have been arrested as a swindler. If you hadn't transferred the money to me, I really thought that you and the Graham Family were going to partner with each other to collect evidence and send me to prison."

"Why? Why are you doing this to me?"

"I have been a cuckold willingly for years. Who doesn't know what you and that bastard from the Hunter family did two years ago? Do you think I am a fool who is that clueless? You have long been his woman!"

"I'm not, Ryan! I was sent there by my father for only two hours on that day. You know I couldn't do anything."

"Nonsense! My experience tells me that many things can happen even in half an hour. I clearly remember that after you jumped off that building, a kind of drug which had the function to seduce men was detected in your blood." Then, Ryan revealed a ferocious expression, took out a document, and threw it at Alyssa. "Now sign it!"

Alyssa looked down and saw that the document was about the transfer statement of her shares in the Graham Group, shaking her head. "I would rather die than sign this."

"You want to die that much? That's a piece of cake. But before you die, you must sign it." Ryan stopped trying to advise but grabbed the woman's hand and printed her fingerprint on to file. "Bitch, it's not up to you." Then he kicked the woman to vent his anger.

At this moment, in Alyssa's heart, humiliation was severer than pain. She shouted hysterically, "Ryan, I will take revenge."

Ryan wagged his head with a smug smile, saying, "Perhaps in your next life! Now the Graham group is all mine. Oh right, for your information, it wasn't I who saved you ten years ago. It was Leon Hunter. And it was not I who gave you that piece of white jade amulet either. It was also him. When you said it was from me in college, I didn't deny it. Your family had money, and I needed it. Look at now, I finally put all Graham Family's wealth deep into my pockets."

"Why must you cheat me like this, you son of a bitch! I will revenge, alive or dead!"

Alyssa simply could not believe what was happening before her eyes.

She always thought it was Ryan who was destined for her. How could it be Leon? How could she make such a huge mistake?

Suddenly, Alyssa recalled that when Leon looked at her in the hotel room three years ago, there was apparent disappointment in his eyes.

Back then, she did not understand anything. But at this moment, she figured it out.

What disappointed Leon was that while he recognized Alyssa, the woman was blinded by her ignorance and mistook one for another.

In grief and indignation, Alyssa looked out of the window with bloodshot eyes.

All of a sudden, she rushed towards the window and jumped out of it impulsively like crazy...

Chapter 2 The Rebirth

Tick-tock, tick-tock...

It was the voice of time.

"Are you awake?"

A mellow, magnetic male voice sounded.

Alyssa found it familiar and wanted to open her eyes. However, she felt her eyelids were heavy and that her head hurt badly.

She felt like her limbs and bones had been viciously crunched, and she had no strength at all.

It was exhaustion and pain that she could feel.

All of a sudden, she recalled that the last moment she jumped off a building.

Ryan...

The man destroyed her entire family.

At the thought of him, anger crammed Alyssa's heart. She was desperate to take revenge and to strangle Ryan with her own hands. She would never let him go, dead or alive.

Subconsciously, her hands clenched tightly, shaking in mute condemnation against that man's crime. "Ryan..."

"How dare you call another man's name at this moment?" Leon squatted down and looked at the girl who had just been fed medicine, and his gaze, hinted with a slice of disappointment, slowly descended and landed on the white jade amulet before her chest.

Huh? Alyssa was confused.

That voice again?

Could it be that she was not dead?

Feeling nervous and excited, she forced open her heavy eyelids.

A clear-cut face appeared in her sight!

Alyssa was shocked to see those gorgeous, handsome features.

Was she dreaming? She wondered.

It was actually Leon.

Seeing that Alyssa was staring at him, Leon, with a frown, reached out to take the woman and dragged her into his arms with all his strength as if he was worried that she would break free the next second.

However, Alyssa did not struggle in the least. Instead, she grasped the man's arm.

Leon looked at the girl in his arms with surprise and saw himself in those crystal-clear pupils gazing at him.

"Leon!" Alyssa looked at the man hugging her in disbelief and reached out to touch his face. It was warm to feel, and his eyes moved along with her hand.

Out of surprise and joy, Alyssa actually shed tears while smiling.

The man was alive! The confirmative message made her thrilled.

Did it mean that she was alive too?

She got Leon's arm in amazement. "You..."

"Say no more and don't call that man's name ever again. You have to marry me today." Leon looked at the woman in his arms with a determined look in his eyes.

He knew she was in love with another man but he must marry her.

At the familiar lines, Alyssa looked around. They seemed to be in a hotel suite. Those furnishings and the open window before them made the woman's mind chaotic.

She recalled that it was the hotel room where she was sent by her family three years ago, and this day was supposed to be the wedding day of Leon and her.

Was she reborn?

Alyssa shook Leon's arm in shock and looked into his eyes, asking, "Leon, how old am I now?"

Leon gave the woman a somewhat standoffish glance, replying, "It was your twentieth birthday yesterday. You are now marriageable."

Twentieth birthday?

Marriageable?

Gosh!

She was really reborn and came back to her twenty.

Staring at Leon, she touched his hand. "Are we getting married today?"

Leon remained silent, fearing that the moment he spoke, the woman would reject him.

Unexpectedly, Alyssa put her arms around him like she was holding some kind of treasure. "Let's get married, today."

"What did you say?" Leon froze as he did not expect Alyssa to agree to marry him. He lowered his head to look at her, suspiciously. "You want to do that?"

Alyssa nodded frantically. "Leon, I'm willing to marry you. Will you marry me?"

Leon was stunned for one moment and lost in thought at the woman's abrupt changes.

Was he having an auditory hallucination? He wondered.

She actually said she was willing to marry him.

Chapter 3 To Prove Her Innocence

Suddenly, Alyssa put her vine-likely slender arms around Leon's neck, and the man instantly came to his senses.

He saw her pretty face moving closer to his and then her lips landed upon his.

He immediately held her slim waist, and the two of them intertwined with each other.

"Will you regret it?" Leon's voice was like an alarm bell. "The drug was given by your family."

"I won't regret choosing you, Leon."

"Really?"

Alyssa wrapped Leon's neck with her fair, thin arms. "I mean it."

"You're not playing tricks on me again, are you?" Leon recalled that Alyssa called another man's name in her coma one moment ago. "Before you fainted, you threatened not to marry me by knocking your head against the wall. Are you actually trying to let my guard down so that you can escape?"

"No." Alyssa took Leon's hand and dug her head into his arms, knowing that it was useless to explain herself, she simply took Leon's belt off.

Clack!

The belt buckle opened.

"You're playing with fire."

Alyssa knew there was no point in talking, undid the man's clothes eagerly, and kissed him attentively.

Staring at the attentive woman, Leon raised his hands to hold her face and kissed her back.

Half an hour later...

Alyssa pressed her head tightly against Leon's chest. It was the very first time that she had sex with a man. Feeling somewhat guilty and flustered, she was too embarrassed to lift her blushed face. The tingling sensation in her body reminded her that she was already Leon's woman.

The room was in silence.

That silence made Alyssa panic.

"Did you do this to get rid of me?"

Leon abruptly broke the freezing silence. However, his words simply made the room temperature drop further.

Alyssa froze, then looked up at Leon, wondering what she should say to make him believe her.

She looked into his distrustful eyes, rolled her pupils cleverly, took the white jade amulet off, and put it around Leon's neck.

As expected, her movements worked.

The next second, hints of tenderness appeared in Leon's eyes.

Alyssa took the man's hand and looked into his gentle eyes. "I'm willing to marry you and I'm determined. This jade amulet was given by a person who was very important to me when I was a child. That boy saved my life and gave it to me. Also, he said he would come to me when we both grew up. I've been waiting for him all the time. Leon, after marrying you, I won't wait for him, is that okay?"

At the woman's words, Leon lowered his head and glanced at those bloodstains on the inside of her wedding dress. Instantly, he knew that she was a virgin before having sex with him a moment ago. Looking at the jade amulet around his neck, Leon obviously eased up.

Alyssa heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing the man's better countenance.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Alyssa panicked slightly and leaned into Leon's arms nervously.

Intuitively, Leon clasped the woman, who was trembling in his arms.

"Mr. Hunter, the wedding is ready. Your grandfather asked me to check if everything is fine."

"Everything is fine."

Before Leon could speak, Alyssa volunteered to answer that person's question.

Leon turned his head to stare at Alyssa, who anticipated him, in surprise.

Alyssa looked at Leon, the only man she wanted to marry, with a sincere smile.

She remembered well what Ryan told her in the previous life. It was Leon she got to know when she was a kid. It was Leon she had been waiting for more than a decade. It was also Leon who was the previous owner of the white jade amulet.

It was Leon whom she wanted all the time.

She leaned in closer to the man and held his face. "Leon, I'm really ready to marry you. Don't tell me that you don't want to marry me anymore."

"As long as you are willing, I am willing too!"

With that, Leon took Alyssa's hand and led the way towards the outside.
