Chapter 1 Lord Demetrius

My Lord, everything is finished." Erie went to the man beneath the tree, who was standing in the shadows.

What about the Earl?"I will bring him, My Lord." Einrie was on her way to go get the Earl.

There is no need to achieve our goal of visiting this place. Simply murder him." He gave an order.

Einrie bows his head and turns to follow his Lord's instructions.

Because Forest Avar is so large, the fire won't be able to burn the entire forest, but it will be able to burn Earl Cromwell's fortress completely.

The boldness to approach his people and exploit them for financial gain.

The Earl is requesting death; sell them as a product.

While wandering the flaming stronghold, Demetrius noticed something on the ground.

It's not one of his people and it's not a demon. However, it was clear that the object was a slave owned by Earl Cromwell.

He asked himself, "What is this thing doing here?"

Demetrius knelt and gave the child a closer look.

It continues to exist. I mean, I was breathing heavily.

The child moaned in agony, "A-agh.."

He briefly saw the child open his eyes and look at him, but the moment passed and he returned to unconsciousness.

Demetrius is debating whether to keep the child with him or not. He shouldn't be concerned because it's not even a demon. It's just a child, human.

It grabs his finger as he is about to stand up.

The child's hand hardly has enough strength to fully grasp one of his fingers. Even though the child isn't very strong, he can pull his hand quite easily, but he doesn't. Nor does he know why.

"My Lord!" Einrie dialed.

As Einrie approached his Lord, he noticed that he was holding his finger with a child.

A child touching his Lord-how dare he?

The most revered and feared of all the Demon Lords?

Just as Einrie was about to ask his Lord, Demetrius emerged, bearing the child that was neither demonic nor known.

"Oh Lord, that's-

Demetrius interrupted Einrie before he could say anything more.

"I'm going to bring this kid.

Tell the other person to return.

"Declared Demetrius.

Afraid Einrie did as his Lord had instructed, Apostolic Domain

[Demon Castle]

"Mmm, n..."With a sigh, Estelle slowly opened his eyes. Ann alien ceiling. Is he no longer alive?

Do deceased people go here?

Estelle made himself sit upright.

All over, he felt weak. How is it possible for the dead to feel pain?

After rubbing her eyes, Estelle surveys the entire space. Her feet catch her attention, and they seem oddly small.

She looks at her hands right away, and they are also small. Her entire body is tiny!

What was her fate? Did she get smaller?

Not at all!

She knew right away that wasn't the case when she saw her hair.

She forced herself to go down to the bed, even though she still felt weak, and discovered how extremely high it was.

Tumbling onto her rear. She gets up and approaches a large mirror.

She then noticed a strange face there. A young person.

She recognizes something, and her eyes enlarge with shock. Something she is aware of that is improbable but not completely unfeasible.

"W-wait.. Did I... Did Reincarnate?"

And when she believed she could at last find peace.

Enraged, Estelle tightly clenches her child's hand. But I'm not sure with whom to take offense. The person who injured her was not someone who lived in the same universe as them.

What the f*ck do they expect from her, exactly?

She voluntarily accepts death as her freedom because all she wants is to relax and for everything to end.

However, what the h*ll?

Do they wish for her to experience the same pain in a different life?

Is watching her struggle enjoyable?

When Estelle heard the door open, she saw a woman with two tiny horns and a tail with a heart-shaped tip.

An Undead One?

Is she, way?

Why does she belong to the Demons?

Could it be that she has also been reborn as a demon?

Estelle instantly examines her entire body and finds that she is devoid of a tail, horn, scales, or even sharp teeth.

Is she not a Demon?

Why, then, is she with the Demons?

The woman simply gives Estelle a worried look while she looks at her with suspicion.

Is this child someone she knows?

Estelle made herself remember that perhaps memories from this body would return. BUT NOTHING.

She shut her eyes tightly and suddenly recalled something.

She recalled that she was being held by a man. Though she dismissed it as unimportant, could it be that man who had brought her here?

Frustrated, Estelle tangled her hair, which caused the Demon servant to stare at her with more concern.

Estelle turns to face the Demon girl in the uniform of a maid.

"Who are you?" Her voice sounded like a child's.

She covers her mouth right away. Her voice sounds so strange. It truly is similar to a child. Perhaps when she's an adult, she'll find it endearing for a kid.

However, she is an adult disguised as a child!

And she speaks like a little kid?

She had never experienced embarrassment before.

As if she had any control over it.

"Who are you? "Where am I?" She enquired once more.

When she eventually got herself together, the maid answered her without another word.

It's a youngster! A cute child with an adorable voice speaking!

In her mind, the maid was yelling.

She was aware of how quickly her heart was beating. She couldn't help but smile at the adorable child in front of her. It was also standing like a grown-up. Incredibly cute!

VERY CUTE! How is she going to respond?

Estelle merely gave the Maid a flat stare.

She blushes, but why? Or is it a normal occurrence?

"Hey! I want to know who you are. Furthermore, where am I?"Estelle enquired once more.

This time, the maid gathers herself and bows before responding to her inquiry.

Sent by my Lord, I am Dena, a maid. Miss, I was told to look after you. You are currently standing in the Demon Lord's Castle, and we are in the Ascian Domain. It was His Greatness Lord Demetrius Alastor who saved you."Dena and give her a kind smile.

Estelle was astounded by Dena's words.

D-Demon Fortress? Devil-master?

Like in the Demon Lord whom the whole human race dreaded?

Estelle held up the tip of her jaw and paced back and forth, wondering whether or not everything was real.

Or is this all a delusion, and if so, why are they showing her delusions?

Her frustrations are mounting inside her mind. It's also giving her vertigo.

She sat on the floor like a misbehaving child when she was done prowling her brain for solutions.

And Dena can't stop grinning at how adorable she acts and staring at her.

A minute later, someone else walks into the room. It's a man dressed like a butler this time. Furthermore, he is a rabbit man.

Thus, there are monsters in addition to demons. The race of demons is superior to that of monsters. A monster's best chance of survival is to take human form. Naturally, though, some of their components will still show that they are not entirely human. Demons possess greater intelligence and are capable of using magic. Some even outsmarted us.

"The Lord wants to see the child in the throne room."The butler for rabbits said.

"See me?"Estelle enquired.

"Yes."The bunny responded.

However, Miss, you must first change. "stated Dena.

No. She is unconcerned with her appearance. Why would the Demon King want to see her is the question.

Will she pass away before her time?

Or is he going to devour her?

No. No. No. That is overly suspicious.

If that's not the case, then why?

Estelle surveyed her surroundings. Lovely space.

The bed is incredibly fluffy and soft.

A housekeeper.

It's not accurate to assume that she is being hated given the way they treat her.

Estelle took a quick look in the large mirror.

And above her head, it was like a lightbulb appeared.

The conclusion struck me.

Maybe the Demon Lord is fond of her.

Considering how adorable she is?

For now, they are on foot. Dena and the butler rabbit trailed behind Estelle, who was in the lead.

Dena attempted to carry her, but she refused.

She objects to being touched by others. It is unfamiliar to her. In all honesty, she doesn't like it since none of the people who had an impact on her are memorable for the right reasons.

They came to a stop in front of a massive door.

After knocking twice, the door opened for the bunny butler.

Estelle can see the man sitting on his throne with a disinterested expression in his eyes even before she enters the room.

With his elbow resting on his Majestic Throne arm and his hand restingonn his chin, he is slouching to the left.

She shivers as his crimson eyes glare at her from a distance. Estelle could tell the man seated on the throne was extremely powerful just by looking at him.

The door shut behind them as soon as they walked in. There was no way for her to escape if the Demon Lord attempted to kill her.

Her heart is beating louder with each step she takes.

He stands before the alleged Demon Lord. Thee actual darkness.

If this is her former self, though, she may be able to hide her nervousness because she is currently a child in her body.

It seems as though the room's aura will cause this body to react even though she isn't afraid.

Estelle came to a halt under the throne. She is getting more anxious because the man is still silent.

In this case, what is she supposed to do?

In addition, she is a child in her own body. So that they won't be suspicious and give her more trouble, she might as well pretend to be one.

She may be let to go if they thought she was just a typical, happy, bubbly child.

"Name." A chilly voice queries.

Estelle's anxiety increased.

What will she say? Is it okay to use her given name? She didn't know who owned this body or what their name was.

"E-Estelle."She responded, attempting to sound like a naive youngster.

The room fell silent once more.

Oh, ahem! Thus... Are you a slave owned by Earl Cromwell?

Demon Lord queries.

A slave? Which slave? Cromwell?

She can't remember the name, but it seems familiar.

"C-Cromwell?" she naively questioned.

Demetrius is giving the child enough attention to avoid frightening her.

Chapter 2 Princess was found by Lord Demetrius

The entire Ascian Domain is in turmoil. Word has spread that the Demon Lord has brought home a baby.

"I love how adorable you are!" Dena exclaimed. "How do you look so beautiful in everything you wear?"

After an hour of endlessly changing into the numerous outfits that Dena had brought, Estelle was exhausted. She hadn't seen the Demon Lord in two days, and she had spent all her time with Dena. They strolled through the garden, picked flowers, napped, ate, and drank.

Although this lifestyle was new to her, some might think she was living in pure bliss. Normally, her days consisted of swordsmanship training, hunting, sparring, and combat. But at this time, wielding a sword seemed unattainable.

The Lord had promised to raise her as his child, yet after two days without a visit, she felt neglected. Estelle didn't expect anything, nor did she intend to stay there indefinitely.

"Are you okay, Princess?" Dena inquired.

Upon learning that Demetrius intended to adopt her, people began referring to her as Princess. When she declined the title, insisting it wasn't necessary, they ignored her. It wasn't essential to call her Princess; she felt no kinship with the Demon Lord. He had taken her in out of sympathy.

She held little hope that they would not grow weary of her and eventually cast her aside.

"Would you like some cookies, Princess?" Dena giggled, but Estelle knew she wasn't in the mood.

She watched the people in the kitchen with confusion as Dena pulled her in, insisting she make tea for the Demon Lord. "Why should I? He hasn't even seen me in two days. Maybe he's forgotten about me."

Estelle was uncertain why she had become so sensitive since becoming a child. Perhaps her emotions were erratic because she was trapped in a child's body.

Reluctantly, she made tea for the Demon Lord, and they set off to deliver it to his office. She hadn't expected Dena to be so stubborn; she was always dragging her along. Yet, Estelle didn't dislike her-Dena was sweet and kind. Dena was genuine, while Estelle was good at spotting pretenses.

Dena knocked on the door twice before entering.

"My Lord, tea is here!" Dena announced. The sight of the Demon Lord slumped over a massive pile of papers shocked her.

So that was why he had disappeared for days. Raising his head, Demetrius noticed Dena holding a teapot. "You're here too," he said, glancing at Estelle, who was hiding behind Dena.

"The Princess brewed this herself, Milord!" Dena said with pride.

"She did?" Demetrius seemed momentarily revived, waiting eagerly for Dena to serve him tea.

"This tea must be amazing, brewed by those little gentle hands," he remarked before sipping it. His face paled as he quickly swallowed, and tea dribbled down his mouth.

Was it awful? Estelle wondered, bracing herself for his response. Demetrius considered whether to tell the truth or fabricate a lie. The tea was so bad that even a lesser demon would have fainted from drinking it, but he didn't want to hurt her feelings.

"It's fantastic! Excitement caused me to bite my tongue by accident," he replied.

Estelle felt a bit relieved that he hadn't been honest and resolved to make tea for the Demon Lord again. After drinking the tea Estelle had made, Demetrius looked nearly lifeless once more. It occurred to him that this child might be trying to kill him.

With a glance, Secretary Esmael noticed that Demetrius was now staring out of the glass window behind his chair.

"Are you considering adopting that child as your daughter, Milord?" Esmael asked, feeling compelled to inquire.

"Yes," Demetrius answered immediately.

"She doesn't belong here. They might turn her against you," Esmael warned, sounding anxious.

"Would you prefer I return her to the people who treated her like a beast?" Demetrius retorted. "I can appreciate your concern, Esmael. However, I would rather face threats than abandon a child who already knows what it's like to be neglected. It is disgraceful for an adult to break a child's heart, and I would rather perish than become like them." He leaned back in his chair.

Esmael couldn't argue with his lord. Though he had fought to defend his people, humans had labeled him "Evil." They would all happily accept such a title if it was considered sinful.

"Now that I have a daughter, what should I do as her father?" Demetrius asked unexpectedly, realizing he had never been a parent. The thought posed a significant dilemma for both Demetrius and Esmael.

Then Esmael recalled something. He rummaged through the bookshelves until he found what he was looking for. He placed the book in front of his lord.

Demetrius picked up the book, gazing at it as if it were a newfound treasure, and began reading rather than focusing on his paperwork. Esmael could only hope that everything would turn out well.

Chapter 3 Demetrius and Estelle

The entire Ascian Domain is in a tumult. Word spread that the Demon Lord carried a baby home in his arms.

"I love how adorable you are!"How do you look so beautiful in everything you wear?"

After an hour, Estelle was exhausted from constantly changing into the numerous outfits that Dena had brought.

She hasn't seen the Demon Lord in two days already. And she is with Dena all day long. They stroll through the garden, pick flowers, sleep, eat, and drink.

Although she isn't used to this kind of habit, some people might believe that she is living in pure bliss.

Her typical days consist of swordsmanship training, hunting, sparring, and combat. But perhaps a sword is still unattainable at this time.

The Lord promised to raise her as his child, but after two days he hasn't even paid her a visit.

She's not expecting anything, and she doesn't intend to stay here indefinitely, either.

"Are you okay Princess?" Dena enquired.

Upon learning that Demetrius intended to adopt her, she began to be referred to as Princess. When she declines to be called that, citing lack of necessity, they won't listen.

It's not necessary to refer to her as Princess. Not even kinship ties bind her to the Demon Lord. He simply took her up out of sympathy.

She won't hold any expectations from them because eventually, they will grow weary of her too and dispose of or discard her.

Would you like some cookies, Princess?" Dena giggled a little bit.

But perhaps not right now.

Estelle was looking at the people in the kitchen, puzzled.

Dena pulls her in, demanding that she make tea for the Demon Lord.

Why ought I to?

For two days, he didn't even get to see me.

It's possible he has forgotten about me.

Estelle is not sure why, but since she became a child, she has been sensitive.

Maybe her emotions are erratic because she's trapped in a child's body.

She makes tea for the Demon Lord against her will. And they're en route to deliver it to his office.

She didn't anticipate Dena being so obstinate and tenacious. Everywhere she goes, she drags her.

She doesn't despise her, though.Dena is sweet and kind.

Dena is real, and Estelle is very good at spotting fakes.

She is far too awkward to be acting.

Dena gives the door two knocks before answering.

"My Lord tea is here~!" Dena said.

The Demon Lord was half dead at his table with a massive pile of papers, shocking Dena.

That's the reason he disappears for days.

Raising his head, Demetrius saw that Dena was carrying a teapot.

"You're also here." When did she see Estelle behind Dena, he asks.

"The Princess brews this herself Milord~!" stated Dena.

"She did?"

In a strange way, Demetrius came back to life and waited for Dena to bring him some tea.

Before sipping the tea, Demetrius remarked, "This tea must be amazing being brewed by those little gentle hands."

He became pale after swallowing the tea, and it was dribbling into his mouth.

Was it awful?Estelle enquired, anticipating his response.

Demetrius looks at her, wracking his mind over whether to tell the truth or lie.

The tea was so bad that even a lesser demon would have passed out from drinking it, but telling her that would have wounded her feelings.

It's fantastic!Excitement caused me to bite my tongue by accident," he replied.

Estelle is a little relieved that he didn't respond. and afterwards made the decision to make tea for the Demon Lord once more.

After drinking all of the tea that Estelle had brought him, Demetrius was nearly lifeless once more.

It occurred to him that perhaps this child was actually attempting to kill him.

With a quick glance, Secretary Esmael noticed that Demetrius was now staring out the glass window behind his chair.

"Are you really thinking of adopting that child as your Daughter, Milord?" Esmael is compelled to inquire.

"Yes."Demetrius answered right away.

She does not belong here. They might turn her against you as well."Esmael sounded worried.

Would you like me to return that child to her own people, who handled her like a beast?

I can appreciate your concern, Esmael. However, I would rather face threats than desert a child who has already experienced abandonment. Esmael, it is disgraceful for an adult to break a child's heart. So I'd rather perish than become like them." Then Demetrius reclined in his chair.

Esmael is unable to dispute with his Lord.

Because he prevailed in a battle to defend his people, humans dubbed this man "Evil.

They would all prefer to be labeled evil if that were considered sin.

They'll accept it with pleasure.

"Now that I have a Daughter, What should I do as her Father?" Demetrius asks without warning.

Then reconsider; the Lord has never been a parent.

The idea turned into a significant conundrum for Demetrius and Esmael.

Then Esmaels thought of something. He trawled through every book on the shelf, delighted to find what he was looking for.

He placed the book above his Lord's table as he walked over to it.

Demetrius picked up the book as soon as he saw it and gazed at it as though it were a recently found treasure.

Then he reads for a while rather than working on his paperwork.

Esmael can only hope that everything works out well.

-DINING AREA-

Demetrius stared at Estelle while she was eating.

He couldn't take his eyes off her undulating cheeks every time she chewed. Estelle noticed him so he lowered his hands and refused to eat. "You're done?"

Estelle's fear of Demetrius has decreased a little bit but sometimes she still can't help being nervous in front of him, especially with the aura he gives off. "Ahem!" Demetrius tasted to grab Estelle's attention. "I have free time tomorrow, and" He started awkwardly. "So I decided to give you a tour around." He declared. The young Estelle was dumbfounded by what Demetrius said. He's going to give her a tour, PERSONALLY? I can go with Dena." Estelle answered. To put it simply, she didn't want to be with Demetrius. He's a Demon King respected by his people, and he's going to give a human a tour? He was sure it wouldn't be good news. It's not that he's worried about his personality but what if he's the one to warm to? He knew that Demetrius' decision to shelter her was arbitrary. Estelle's answer stopped Demetrius for a moment. Estelle was shocked when Demetrius stood at the dining table without eating anything. "Then, you can do whatever you want." replied Demetrius and left the room. Estelle didn't understand but she seemed to feel guilty. But she can't force himself to trust right away, especially since he's only been with her for a few days. His whole life was like a game. He went through a lot that tested his trust and emotions, until there was nothing left. She knew that she owed her life to Demetrius, and if only she could erase her past memories, she would be happy. No one will be happy to carry the memories she went through. She will choose to be a child again. From the back, Ryuu's face cannot be painted. He was ordered to watch over and protect the young miss but he felt a presence that he knew very well who it was. It was only 20 steps away from them and had been following for a while. He was wearing black braces but it couldn't hide his true personality especially from a Demon Knight like him. Maybe with low level creatures it won't be noticed. But not with people like him. 'Milord, Why are you hiding and following us?' Ryuu asked in his mind.

Estelle and Dena happily toured the food stalls and also strolled through the toy stores. Dena said that it is normal for a child to buy a toy and she was very happy when they bought her a stuffed toy dragon and she could not refuse it. This is the very first time that she was gifted or given something like this. Before that, she only saw it on other children while she was begging on the road. Estelle hugged the toy bought for her and didn't want to let it go. She looked at Ryuu for a moment and she was okay, but... why did he look like an amputee? Estelle asked in her mind. She ignored it and turned her attention back to Dena and continued circling. But Estelle couldn't help but ignore what she was seeing. Someone had been following their person with a black cloth bracket. At first she thought it was just a coincidence but they had been circling for a while and it was still following them. Every time she stares or looks at it, it hides in the corner. So there is no doubt, Someone has followed them! Estelle approached Ryuu who was so pale that she couldn't tell if she was having diarrhea or a stomach ache. "What is it, Young Miss?" Ryuu asked as he noticed Estelle approaching him. He knelt down so that his neck wouldn't get tired looking up at him. "Um.. There's a person behind us. She's been following us since earlier.. Ryuu tried to smile and his sweat was dripping. 'Should I tell her? ' he asked himself. But he couldn't do it either because Demetrius might not like that. Maybe there's a reason why he's secretly drifting and hiding? "Thank you for telling me, Young Miss." Ryuu said. Estelle walked back to Dena and continued sightseeing. When they were tired, they sat down at the fountain in the middle of the park. Estelle looked intently at the man who had been following them pretending to buy fruit from a stall. She told Ryuu but why didn't he do anything? Dena said goodbye to buy something to drink while Ryuu just sat there and seemed to be deep in thought. Estelle used that opportunity to secretly confront the person who had been following them. She left her seat and Ryuu didn't even notice her. She changed direction so that the person following them could not see him. When he got to where he was standing earlier, he was gone. Estelle looked around and it seemed as if it suddenly disappeared. Estelle was a little annoyed because he was trying to hide. When she was coming back, she ran into some children who were running and she ran into a stopped carriage with a lot of goods. It shook and she also lost her balance. She could have avoided it if only she wasn't a child and her body was weak. She braced herself for the things that would fall on her when suddenly someone grabbed her and pulled her away from the carriage. Estelle opened her eyes and saw what she was looking for. But why does this man carry her like a sack? Before she could complain, the man slowly put her down while Estelle couldn't see his face. He didn't speak either. It was about to turn away when Estelle touched his finger. He looked up at the man. Who are you?" Estelle asked gently. She saw him turn towards her but he didn't answer. "Young Miss!!" Ryuu screamed in worry because Estelle suddenly disappeared beside him. Dena was about to come and just arrived with a drink in her hand. Estelle felt that the man with braces wanted to run but he couldn't because Estelle was holding his index finger tightly. Estelle was even more surprised when she saw that Ryuu was even paler and was sweating and glancing at the man with the braces. "Does Ryuu know this man? Is that why he didn't mind me when she told him? Dena, on the other hand, has no idea what happened and she looks back and forth at Estelle, Ryuu and the man with brackets. Young Miss, Who is that? Estelle asked. Ryuu closed his mouth tightly. Do you know Ryuu? " Dena grumbled because no one answered her. Ryuu? "Dena approached Ryuu and was still shaken because it seemed to be out of itself. Dena was about to slap Ryuu's face to make him realize that the man suddenly turned around and spoke coldly. Enough." Dena turned around and was surprised by the man who spoke. Estelle frowned as she noticed the familiar voice. "Oh, it's you Milord!~" Dena said happily. "Oh no.." Ryuu whispered. Estelle looked at Dena and returned to the man she was holding. He took his bracket and exposed himself. "Lord Demetrius?" Estelle said while reaching for his finger. Demetrius scratched his cheek and looked away from Estelle, his cheeks blushing a little with embarrassment.
