"Kim, Kim, Kim" My alarm wake me up from my sweet dream. I picked the Alarm and throw it hard on the wall and lye back to sleep.

"Jewel! Jewel!! Jewel!!" Kingsley shouted and I covered my ear with the duvet. "Will you get out of that room now, or you want me to come drag you out of the room" Kingsley shouted and I stood up immediately.

"Kingsley, why are you disturbing my sweet dream" I shouted from my room.

"Didn't you check the time" Kingsley said and I checked the time immediately. oh my Goodness, my manager will sack me today I said and rushed to the bathroom.

"Am not sure I can take my bath this morning, I will bath when I come back.

I put toothpaste on my brush and brush my teeth with it. " Oh, am sorry I haven't introduce myself to you guys, Am Jewel Walter, The second child of my parents, but I don't know my parents neither did Kingsley know them, Kingsley has been the only family I have.

"Jewel, f*cking get out of that room now" Kingsley yelled and I rushed out of the bathroom, Kingsley has always been a mean big brother, he doesn't take nonsense.

I rack through my wardrobe and brought out a turtle neck and a jean trouser. I put them on immediately and pack my hair In a ponytail, I opened my drawer and brought out my lipgloss. I need to look good even though I didn't take my bath this morning.

I opened the door and meet the angry Kingsley at my doorstep. "I am very sorry Kingsley" I said.

"You don't have to apologize to me, I just pray your manager didn't sack you this time around" Kingsley said and walk away angrily. "$hit, I have made Kingsley angry again.

"King, don't tell me you're angry" I said and walked out of the house. I will apologize to him later. I stopped a taxi and it took me to my working place.

Jewel came down from the taxi and paid the taxi man off. "Goodmorning Cecelia" jewel greet one of her co worker.

"Morning Jewel, manager said you should see him in his office when you come" Cecelia replied.

"Hope there's no problem?" Jewel ask. "I don't know, but I will advise you to go see him first" Cecelia said and jewel ran to the manager office. "She's fond of coming to work late" Cecelia said and hissed out loud.

"Goodmorning Mr Thomas" Jewel greet with her head bow. " Jewel, why did you came late?" the manager asked.

" I am very sorry sir" Jewel replied and The manager bang his hand on the table and jewel move back in fright. "Was that the question I asked you?" the manager asked angrily.

" I slept off sir" Jewel replied. "Jewel are you tired of this work?" the manager asked.

"No sir, please don't sack me!" Jewel said and fall down on her knees. "Get up!" the manager said and jewel stood up immediately.

" What punishment did you think is suitable for you?" the manager asked.

" Any punishment sir, apart from sacking me" Jewel replied. " Fine, this will be your last chance, I will sack you anytime you come late again" the manager said.

" Alright and thank you very much sir" Jewel said happily. "Don't thank me yet, because I will still punish you" The manager said.

"That's not a big deal sir" Jewel said with a smile. "Look at you, I know you're used to the punishment, but I will still punish you, you will be the one to serve all the customers today" The manager said.

" Punishment accepted sir" Jewel said and rushed out of the manager office.

She rushed to the store room and change her cloth immediately. she put on an apron and walked out.

"Gabby, what sup" Jewel greet. "Jewel, am good why did you came late again?" Gabby asked.

"I slept off" Gabby replied with a pout. "Lazy bone" Gabby said and jewel roll her eyes at her.

"ERM...., Gabby I need your help" jewel said. "On what madam?" Gabby asked.

"Manager gave me a punishment" jewel said. "So how's that my business?" Gabby asked.

"I need you to help me out, manager ask me to attend to all the customers today" Jewel said and Gabby burst into laughter.

" don't tell me to calm down" the lady said. "Please, bring down your voice, other customers are watching you" jewel said.

Asher left out an evil smile when he saw the guy tied to a poll. " Who did this to him?" Asher asked his personal assistant, he keep quiet cause he knows what his boys is trying to do.

" Whosoever did this to you is an heartless person, how could they beat you up like this?" Asher asked and looking around. He pretended as if he's looking for the person that beat the guy.

"Mike!" Asher called. "Boss" Mike replied. "Why did you allow them to beat my new friend like this?" Asher asked.

"I am sorry boss!" Mike replied. "Common, you don't have to be sorry, I just realize that the marks look good on him" Asher said and Mike nod his head.

"He must be going through Alot of pain now" Asher said and Mike nod his head.

"Get me the chilly pepper, it will help reduce the pain" Asher said. "No I don't need it" the guy shouted and Asher Burst into laughter.

"So you can talk and you you can't greet me since I get here, I will teach you a lesson you will never forget, you won't even leave to tell the story, don't be afraid, I only wanna help you by making your death fast, Even God will be very happy with me that I send a sinner like you to him, am I right?" Asher asked his personal guard and he nod his head immediately.

Asher collected the chilly pepper from his personal guard and move closer to the person they tied on the poll.

"But, why I just wanna help you with this pepper" Asher said and look at the pepper on his hand.

"So can you see that I only want to help you?" Asher said and poured the chilly pepper on him and he cry out loud.

"Wow, your scream sounds like a moan to my ear" Asher said. "Why did you steal my container?" Asher asked.

"I didn't steal your container" the guy shouted. "Who stole it?" Asher asked and the thief keep mute.

"Remember we saw the container in your custody, I hate lies" Asher said and brought out his gun from his back pocket and shoot him with it. "Pack him up and go burial him" Asher said and walked out.

"Pack him up and burial him" Asher said and walked out. "it's so sad that this is how you will end your journey" Asher personal guard said and carried the thief corpse.

Asher walked to his room. He put off his cloth and throw them in a basket, he walked to the bathroom and take a cool bath.

He walked out of the bathroom with water dripping off from his head. He walked to his dressing table and picked up his hand Dryer.

He dried his hair with it and packed it well. He rack through his wardrobe and brought out a shirt and a trouser, he put it on and left the three first button open, he look hot, like those American hot boss we watch in movies.

He carried his briefcase and walked out of his room. Don't be surprised it's still morning and he is ready for work.

He walked out of his room and his personal maid went down on her knees immediately.

"Your breakfast is ready sir" The maid said and Asher nod his head. "You can stand up" Asher said and the maid stood up immediately.

"none of his workers dare look into his eyes, expect the person have a death wish.

"He walked to the dinning and sat down comfortable on the dinning chair. He took a slice of bread from the tray and spray enough Bama on it, he nod his head in satisfaction and sip from his coffee.

He stood up and pick up his briefcase from the table and his personal guard took it from him immediately. The driver open the car door for him and he get inside.

The driver parked the car in the office garage and he came down from the car majestically.

"Get me the secretary!" Asher said and his personal assistant went out immediately, he came back shortly after with the secretary.

"Really?" Asher asked and the security nod her head. "Did you have a death wish?" Asher asked and the lady nod her head negatively.

"Sir, your business partners, are waiting for you, in the Hall" mike said. "Am coming back for you!" Asher said and stood up immediately.

"Hope the manager didn't insulted you?" Gabby asked. "He did, I want you to go fight for me" Jewel replied.

"How could he insulted you because of that rat?" Gabby said angrily. "That was why I need you to fight for me, remember he is your lover, he will listen to you, he even told me not to come to work again" Jewel said.

She went out and saw his brother resting on his car. "Kingsley, why don't you call me to inform me that you're here?" Jewel asked.

" but I said am sorry" jewel said. " You aren't sorry, I won't be happy with you, if you lose this your job, remember we have a plan" Kingsley said.

"Okay, I will prepare pancake for you when we get to the house" jewel said. " I don't need it because I have prepared our dinner" Kingsley replied.

"No sir, the idea will really help this company sir" Mr Roger said. "Roger, you're cra$y!" Asher said and the other investors open their mouth in shock.

"Calm down Mr Wilfred" his personal assistant Mike said. "Mike!" Asher called.

"Boss!" Mike replied. "Did you have a death wish!" Asher growl to his ear and Mike move back in fright. "Am sorry boss" Mike replied.

"Roger, I don't need your business idea" Asher said and stood up from the chair.

"I think this meeting is over, so you all should get out from my company now" Asher shouted and they all rushed out.

"Mike, the next time you try to interfere in my business" Asher said. " Am very sorry boss" Mike replied.

" Get me the secretary" Asher said and sat on his office chair. "Sir...." the secretary stuttered. "So what did you have to say about my Missing document?" Asher asked.

"Sir I don't know what happened to the File" The secretary replied shaking profusely.

"You're trying my patience" Asher said with an evil smile. He stood up from his seat and move closer to the lady and the lady shift back in fright until her back hit with the wall.

"Talk now!" Asher yelled to her face. "Sir I didn't... know anything about it" the lady stuttered and Asher eyes darkened immediately.

For what seemed like forever he was just standing there staring at her, without saying a word. The lady was already feeling uncomfortable with the awkward silent. His silence was really making her uneasy.

He started taking step forward, his deadly gaze not living her. The secretary was just praying that the ground should just open and swallow her, because she has witness Asher brutality once, and she doesn't pray to experience something like that again.

She stepped back in fear, as her body started trembling. He finally stopped walking, and the next thing his hand flew to his neck tightly shocking life out of her.

"Please!" The secretary struggling to go, but Asher is way too stronger than her. Asher released his hand from her neck and the lady cough out.

" Are you ready to talk now?" Asher asked and the secretary shake her head. She muttered something like.

" He is gonna kill my parents, if I didn't do it" but it's loud enough for Asher to hear.

" Mike!" Asher call. "Boss" Mike replied. "Take her to the car" Asher said and walked back to his chair. "He sat on his chair and crossed his leg. " Please don't take me away" The secretary said and Mike drag her out.

"What did he say?" Kingsley asked me when I get back to the sitting room. " He didn't give me permission to go, he said there are many work for me to do tommorow" I replied.

"Give me your phone let's me talk to him" Kingsley said. " He won't be happy, if I give you my phone to talk to him, he can even sack me and I don't wanna lose my job" I replied.

My phone ring out loud and I saw gabby name flashing on the screen, why is she calling me now.

Kingsley was about to go to his room, before he heard jewel voice shouting for help, he rushed to her door and kicked the door open with his leg.

He walked inside her room and met on on the ground with her blood flowing on the floor.

"Jewel, what happened to you, f*cking talk to me?" Kingsley shouted and carried her on his hand. "Don't do this to me?" "Jewel Walter, look at me, what happened to you?" Kingsley said and carried her to the car.

He dropped her in the back seat and rushed to the driver seat and speed off.

Kingsley parked the car at the hospital garage and rushed down to carry jewel.

He carried her and rushed to the hospital. "Emergency!" Kingsley shouted and some nurses rushed out with pusher.

They carried jewel on it and wheel her to a ward.

"Doctor what happened to my sister?" Kingsley asked. "Hope the money is ready?" the doctor asked.

"The money isn't complete, I thought the operation is next month" Kingsley said.

" Mr Walter, why are you like this, I told on is the 10th of November, what's today date Mr Walter?" the doctor asked.

" Today is 9th of November, $hit, f00lish me, what are we going to do now doctor?" Kingsley asked.

" Go back to the house and bring the money, so we can start fast" the doctor said.

" To be honest with you doctor, I don't have half of the money" Kingsley said. "Mr Walter, I will advice you to be fast about it, I need to attend to some patients" the doctor said.
