The Mayor's Daughter

The HIVE was a governmental organization responsible for deployment of spies and secret agents who work secretly to eradicate crimes when they surpass the police.

It was a Cooperation located underground at the center of Brook City.

A Young Man on a Suzuki bike rode speedily into a garage and the door way closed slowly.

He took off his helmet and turned to the touchpad on the wall.

"Agent 42211". He Typed and soon a Biometrics program appeared on the screen.

He placed his hand on the finger print pattern and a laser scanned through his finger.

"Match Found!". Was Displayed and then.

"Iris Verification".

He took his eyes close to the wall and a rectilinear laser shown straight into his eyes scanning it.

"Successful. Heart Beat Authentication In Process".

Four lasers shown into his chest calculating the speed of his heart beat.

"Success. Access Granted". Was Displayed and the wall split into two.

That was the security at Hive, it was crazy but no intruder could actually scale through it easily..

He entered into the elevator and hit a button on the pad which prompt the elevator to decelerate until it stopped at a particular floor.

The Door gave way and he steeped out.

A good number of agents in the room were all engrossed in the system until he steeped in and all eyes drift to him.

"Morning Agent Lee".

He smiled as he almost bumped into a man In his 40s.

"Welcome Back Agent 42211".

"Morning Commander". Lean bow replied.

"Mission Report".

"Target Escaped Sir But I Successfully Placed The Bug In The Truck".

"The Crazy 16 Right?, This Criminal Organization are gaining ground". The Commander said as he lit a cigar.

"Sir I request other agents to assist in this mission".

The Commander tapped him gently on the shoulder.

"You're the only agent we trust Lee, there are moles among us".

"So what next do we do sir?".

"Happy Vacation Lee". He walking away.

"Vacation?". Lean bow asked in confusion.

"Spend a good time with your family and least I forget the mayor desire to see you". The Commander said and vanished out of sight.

Lean bow's eyes moved to one of the system and it caught the date there.

"1st Of April, One Month Vacation". He whispered and dragged his feet toward the elevator.

"Good bye Agent".

He leaned on the wall of the elevator and it moved up slowly.

"Worst Vacation ever, so I'll actually sit at home and wait for the month to end then i resume, damn!".

The door gave way and he walked out..

He mount his bike and having put on his helmet he rode away speedily.

Lean bow drove into City Hall and alight from the bike.

He took off his helmet and stared at the magnificent building before him.

Why does the mayor wants to see him?

Lean bow found his way into the building after several check points by the security.

He was lead into the mayor's office by the secretary who opened the door.

"Agent Lean bow". The Mayor said taking off his glasses.

"Morning Sir, it's a honor to finally meet you". He said with a smile.

"Your boss said you'll be on vacation for a month". The Mayor asked.

"Yes, That's right ".

"Good. I need your help on something?".

"What sir? Am always at your service".

"My Daughter Just Returned From Korea, I need you to pick her up from the airport".

Lean bow thought there was more but nay.

"That's all". The Mayor said.

"All?".

"Yes. I've instructed my secretary to take you to the park, pick any car of your choice and pick her from the airport".

Lean bow was shocked, he thought the mayor wanted to send him on a difficult mission but here he was asking to pick up his daughter.

"Easy as hell". Lean bow thought.

"Right away sir".He and made to leave.

"Here, This her picture, In case you find it difficult to identify her". The Mayor said handing over a picture to lean bow.

"Such a beauty". Lean bow thought.

"And change this outfit of yours to casual you're not on a mission".

Lean bow smiled and walked out.

The Secretary took him to the garage where a car key was handed over him.

He rode out of the building speedily and head for the Boutique where he changed his changed his outfit into a casual type before taking off for the airport.

In five minutes lean bow arrived at the airport and alight from the car.

His eyes scrutinized the place carefully searching for the mayor's daughter until he Found a match.

There she was standing with two bags by her side.

Lean bow's eyes examined the picture he was holding and the girl standing at his front.

There was a touch of resemblance but the one standing was more beautiful than the one in the picture leaving him confused.

"Excuse Ma'am". Lean bow said approaching her.

She took off her dark shade and stared at him with her blue eyes.

"Do i know you?". She asked.

"Excuse me, are you the mayor's daughter?". He asked.

"Yeah. How did you know about that?". She replied.

"I was asked to pick you up". Lean bow said with a smile.

"Do I look like a dirt. Oh don't tell me you're the Chauffeur asked to take me". She said angrily.

"Yes I am, I ....". She didn't allow him to finish when she slapped him hard across the face.

Lean bow was shocked, although it wasn't painful he wondered why did she do it.

"Did you slap me?". Lean bow asked full of surprise.

"Oh you're asking right, maybe I'll have to do it again". She grinned.

"Damn!". Lean bow cursed wondering if he had offended her before.

Nay, they haven't met before.

"I guess you don't know how long I've been waiting for you, twenty minutes huh and you drag your lazy as* down here asking if I was the mayor's daughter". She snapped angrily.

"That does not guarantee you too..."..

She cuts in sharply.

"Keep shut idiot or am gonna make you wrought in jail". She screamed out and every eyes in that arena drift to them.

They stared at him like he was trying to wooing her.

"Does she know who i am? This embarrassing". Lean bow thought but decided to act cool.

"Can we go now ma'am?".

"I was never gonna wait for you". She said and walked away.

"Ma'am your bags!".

"I left them for you to pick dumbass, you don't expect me to take them".

Lean bow heaved heavily as he picked the bags and head for the park.

"An agent like me becomes a servant boy, like seriously women are great, no, this one is rude and fvck, why did the mayor sent me, she thinks I am a Chauffeur ". Lean bow whispered.

They got to the park and lean bow opened the boot of the car where he dropped the bags.

He made to open the door to the driver's seat when she held me back and collected the keys

"You know what? I can't seat in a car with a junk like you". She said and entered into the car.

"Find your way back, I don't care even if you wish to fly". She said stressing the word 'fly'.

Lean bow was now speechless, what did she just say?.

"Wait ma'am, you don't know all route in the city".

"I got my Google map dumbass". She said taking her phone..

She switched on her device and opened the Google map app which displayed on the screen.

She stared at the map switching her phone at different angle but couldn't understand the map.

"This car don't have one right?". She asked scratching her head.

Lean bow almost burst into laughter now she'll be stuck without his help.

He managed to convert the laugh to a soft smile..

"What's funny?". She asked

"Nothing ma'am, No". He replied.

"Then I guess you'll have to join me in the car and show me all route as we drive". She said.

Lean bow entered into the car and banged close the door.

"Start speaking before I make you do". She threatened.

Driving out Lean bow showed her Route they should follow as kept pointing and directing her.

She was still a learner, not a good driver but what can he do.

They often bypass the route and then they reverse back to the road.

"Was i actually here to pick her up or teach her how to drive". Lean bow thought.

"Damn!". Lean bow cursed out as she drift into another lane.

"What?". She screamed.

"It's this lane not that one ".

She reversed the car and hits the car behind them.

"Fvck you bitch!". She cursed out.

Lean bow who fully knew that they were at fault got down from the car.

They were gonna pay for the damages.

"Oh my God! What the hell?". The Driver cursed out as he got down from the car.

"We're sorry man, we....". Lean bow was saying when he seem to recognize him.

"Morgan?". Lean bow whispered.

"Oh my God. Lean..". He wanted to say but lean bow signaled that he shouldn't call his name.

The Mayor's daughter ran up to lean bow and grabbed his ear from behind.

"Don't listen to the old man, let's go"..

She pushed him into the car and banged close the door.

"Now drive ". She commanded.

"Who the hell is she, man?". The other dude yelled.

"Later Morgan!". Lean bow replied and he drove away.

With much ease lean bow was able to bypass the rush hour and they arrived at the white house.

She got down from the car and head for the mayor's office.

"Clara wait up, no, Sarah.. Umm. What's her name?". Lean bow said.

He closed the door and followed after her.

She walked past the security guards without waiting but they grabbed her back.

"Get off me dumbass". She cursed out.

"She's the mayor's daughter". Lean bow intervened.

They let go of her immediately and she turned back.

"Am gonna make sure you all lose your job". She threatened and walked away.

She got to the mayor's office and wanted to enter but a guard blocked her way.

"The Mayor is currently busy and all visitors have been restricted from entering in here".

"Get off! ".

The guard spoke to someone on his telecom device and then moved away for her to pass.

She banged into the office and the mayor smiled softly.

"Rosita! You're looking cool".

"Get off that dad". She said angrily.

"Is everything alright? ". He asked.

"I thought you were gonna send a hell lot of cars and security to pick me from the airport but this trash showed up". She said pointing to lean bow.

"That's rude Rosita". The Mayor said.

"And also, the rush hour, you knew I was coming back you should have called for a curfew, I was down there in the lane waiting for the traffic to subside".

"Sorry about that Rosita, If you would excuse me right now, I have lots of documents to go through, he'll take you home". The Mayor said.

"I can see you ain't happy i arrived safely right?". She asked and threw a gum into her mouth.

"Well....".She added staring at The Mayor.

Lean bow watched the ongoing drama like he was in a cinema.

He thought Rosita was rude to him because she thought he was a Chauffeur but the way she spoke to her father, that's ultra rude.

"I don't fvcking care if you ain't happy to see me, mom pleaded that i should return to this old fashion city, am not gonna disturb you dad but all i want is you provide all I need, money, cars, Chauffeur ". She said with a creepy smile.

"Sure". The Mayor said.

"Good, leaving for home dad". She said walking toward the door.

"And least I forget, that car is outdated, I want something classic".

She walked away and Lean bow heaved heavily.

"Such a spoilt brat". He thought.

"Agent Lean bow". The Mayor said.

"Sir".

"You're on a vacation right?". He asked.

"Yes sir".

"Do you have a plans? Maybe to spend it with your family?".

"No sir. I live alone".

Why was the mayor asking all this?

"Good. I have a mission for you with a good pay and everything you want".

Lean bow's eye opened wide.

"Oh my God! A mission, good pay and everything I want". He stammered and the Mayor nodded.

"I will be glad to take it sir". Lean bow replied with a smile.

"I want you to become Rosita's Bodyguard".

Lean bow's smile slowly diminished as the slap incidence flashed through his memory.

"Sir I don't seem to get you". Lean bow stammered.

The Mayor rose up slowly and marched toward the window.

"When Rosita told me she was coming to USA I knew I would have a hell lot of responsibility on me, She's expensive to maintain but that's not the problem, her rude attitude, can't actually believe my girl had turned into this, sending her to Korea was the biggest mistake in my life ". He said and turned back.

" Rosita would go at any length to do anything she wish, of which might attract danger, in this city there are gangsters and crime lord all over the streets who act just like her then imagine what happens if they cross part? ". The Mayor asked.

"She'll be hurt". Lean bow replied.

"Good. Do you also know I have lot of enemies in this city who's trying to get at me".

Lean bow nodded.

"And with Rosita mingling into this it's dangerous when she walks alone, they know i will do anything to get her back if they lay their hands on her".

"I understand sir".

"I need someone who'll watch over her for me, I trust no one except your Commander who said you'll be best fit for this mission".

"I am highly honored sir". Lean Lean bow said with his head down

"But the difficulty is you won't be acting like a guard" .

"Sir? I don't know what you mean".

"You've gone undercover before, right?".

"Of course sir".

"Good that's exactly what you do now, Rosita hates body guard and overprotection so you'll be acting like her Chauffeur ".

" Her Chauffeur? Like seriously?, I'm not her Chauffeur and she treats me this way then how would she treat me when I finally become her Chauffeur ". He thought.

" What do you think about this lean bow? ". The Mayor said.

" I don't know sir, I don't mean to turn down your request but.... ".

" No lean bow, speak whatever you have in your heart, no offense ". The Mayor said with a smile.

" I'll have to think about this sir ".

"As I have said lean bow no offense, get back to me when you come to a final conclusion".

Lean bow left the office with varieties of thought dangling through his memory.

What would be his fate if he decides to pick the job? Be the Chauffeur of the rudest girl ever known, was this kind of mission impossible?.

If Rosita was a gentle being then no big deal.

He walked into the garage as he rolled the keys in his hand.

He was shocked to see Rosita on the bonnet of the car.

Was he suppose to take her home? Da*n.

As soon as she noticed his presence her head rose up slowly.

"You kept me waiting on purpose, right?". She asked and bite her lower lip.

"No, Actually I was having a conversation with your father".

"And what conversation is more important than taking me home". She said and tried to hit him across the face but what the hell, you just tried to hit an agent, they faster than you think.

Lean bow ducked to the left and she lost balance stumbling over his right foot but he was quick to catch her hand so she don't fall face flat to the ground.

Now she was actually at his mercy.

"Get your filthy hands off me". She cursed.

"I guess you wouldn't want to stain your dress ma'am". Lean bow said and rose her up slowly.

She stared at him with a creepy look.

"You know i could make you lose your job right?". She asked.

"I am sorry Ma'am. I...".

"Get your ass into the car!". She screamed out.

Lean bow unlocks the door and got in.

She entered into the passengers seat and banged the door close.

Throughout the drive back home she didn't mutter a single sentence. I know everyone would be wondering why.

They got to the mayor's house and lean bow drove in.

The guards quickly rushed to the car and opened the door for her to come out but she remained still still in the car.

"Ma'am is there a problem". Lean bow asked pretending he didn't know what happened and she remained mute.

"I think she's not feeling too strong". Lean bow suggested.

The boss of the guard ordered that a wheelchair was brought and she was helped into it and pushed away.

Lean bow enters into the car and heaved heavily.

He had no plan for this vacation but what if he could help instead of staying at home all day for the vacation to be over.

Well one of the quality of a good agent is tolerance then maybe he could tolerate all her actions or maybe not all not.

He took his telecom device and phoned the mayor.

"I've thought about it sir I'll take the job".

The call was disconnected and he dropped the phone.

He started the ignition of the car and stared at the guards as they helped Rosita into the building.

He felt sorry for her but maybe her arrogance caused it right?

What actually happened was when lean bow caught her from falling, the pull had affected her spine and would take minutes to recover.

She couldn't speak in the car cos of the minor pain on the neck.

Lean bow knew it was just mere but woman could exaggerate at times.

He started the ignition and drove out of the compound.

Just then his phone vibrated and his eyes drifted to the notification.

I was shocked that he quickly stepped on the brake to clarify what he just saw.

His account was just credited by someone, The Mayor.

Five Hundred thousand dollars!". He exclaimed.
