The Mask Guy

I was so bored,so I decided to walk to the school garden, so ,I could receive some fresh air . And maybe ,I would see something ,that will keep me busy ,as I had no friend not to talk of friends.

Sometimes ,I just get tired of my boring life maybe I was curse because what else would make people hate me ,so much to the extent of not talking to me but some other times I realize something "no one wants to befriend an ugly bitch like me "you see I even hate myself Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I got to the school garden and met people in pairs discussing ,some laughing I guess to some jokes only known to them .so I retreated my steps back ,because the atmosphere I saw ,wasn't what I expected. I was expecting to see a quiet garden or just the noise ,from, the chirping birds not human noise . At least, singing along the chirping bird would help the boredom. I stumbled on something or.......... So I thought but no it was someone.closing my eyes ,expecting to fall,but I didn't instead I felt a strong arms pulling me close .curious to know ,who didn't freak out due to my ugliness, I opened my eyes and saw him. THE MASK GUY that doesn't associate himself with anyone.he likes been alone just like me but the difference is that he hates people associating with him he usually shun them to stay away from him but me ,no one wants to come close to where I am . sad right but am used to it anyways . He was the one, holding me ,from falling I was Surprise ,by his kindness and Struck by his dazzling cuteness even without seeing his full face that I kept staring at him maybe to steal some cuteness for my self. how could the creator bless a man with so much cuteness yet give me who happens to be a girl ,this ugly face .really, I thought girls were cuter than boys but today I found out that ,that was a big fat lie I was so lost staring at him ,until his deep masculine voice jotted me back to reality. "Are you okay "he asked in the most caring voice "Ermmmmmmmm..........y..e...ah "I stammered getting hold of my self He helped me stand to my feet and went his way . After he left,I turn to see some crowd of students staring at me with surprise written on their faces well who wouldn't be surprised seeing beauty and the beast together but in a different dimension the boy the beauty while the girl the beast lol I didn't realize they have been watching "Did he just held her " "Aww he hasn't even touched a guy like me but touched that ugly girl wow just wow " "It was a mistake didn't you see it ?that guy couldn't have done it on purpose he hasn't hold a beautiful girl like me on purpose is it that ugly jerk he will hold purposely?Such an ugly bitch " I heard students whispering as I walk out of the garden well it's their mouth they can say whatever they feel like I don't give a damn Arhhhhhhhhhhhhh I screamed in annoyance due to the continuous buzzing of the alarm .I stretched my hand and switch it off .I felt so tired that I kept Stretching my body, to relieve stress .i keep tossing around until I fell and landed on the hard floor "What the fuck I was in school a moment a go what am I doing at home or ...... was it a dream ?"I asked my self getting annoyed I thought the mask guy ,soft and masculine arms, was wrapped around me . well just that thought alone made my lip curve in a sweet smile But I kept wondering, how it will feel ,being in his arms as I drag my self up from the floor I look up at the wall and my eyes caught the time on the wall clock what !it was 6:43 its almost Seven am going to be late to school. I quickly dragged my self into the bathroom Ohhh what's all this I forgot my towel I had to run back to my room to take it from my wardrobe. After a rushed bath ,I brushed and searched for cloth to wear After selecting different cloths,I finally settled for a pink gown and a black pair of sandals . I tied my hair into a ponytail , applied a little makeup and lipgloss because I can't do without makeup took my bag and ran to the mirror to look at my appearance. Satisfied,I dashed out of my room into the sitting room . I saw my mum setting the table for breakfast at the dinning . "Good morning mum"I greeted kissing her cheek "Good morning darling hope you had a good night rest "she asked caressing my palm "Yeah "I nodded and sat down to eat breakfast. Breakfast was toasted bread,with scrumbled egg and tea . I quickly ate ,kiss my mum and ran out to catch a bus to school . Luckily for me I saw a bus earlier than usual I guess heaven is on my side today because normally I stand close to thirty minutes or more than, before seeing a bus . I stopped the bus then sat at the back seat breathing hard due to the running. Well now,let me introduce myself. My names are "Cassandra Justine "am 17 still schooling erm......I stay with my mum,my dad is late and am very ugly don't even have the imagination of a beautiful girl when you hear the name "CASSANDRA ".hey don't get me wrong every other Cassandra might be beautiful but am not . I have a crush on this new guy in my class whose name is Fredrick and he is always on mask am kind of always dreaming about him I guess it's because he is always the only one I think about before going to bed . there is a saying that whatever you have in mind before sleeping you are likely going to dream about it . "Hey miss are these not your school mates?" A young woman asked tapping me "Oh my! Yes they are Thank you ma" I said rushing down to my school " The royals " I almost passed my school due to my introduction to you . Now I won't be the one talking let someone continue from where I stopped . Cassandra ran to her first class . Getting there, lesson have started . "Good morning ma "Cassandra greeted her English teacher miss Sarah going to an empty seat at the back of the class to sit. "Good morning Cassy why are you late to my class "miss Sarah asked "Erm.........I ...... " Cassy stammered "Can't you talk again "miss Sarah asked angrily "I guess her ugliness has gotten to her brain and also tied her tongue "Mandy one of the school's prettiest said Making the whole class burst into a provocative laughter . Well don't be surprise that's how Mandy is she is always attacking Cassandra.Cassandra have never had a misunderstanding with her but she just hates Cassy because she is ugly "Enough all of you be quiet "miss sarah shouted making everyone put on a serious face The class was so quiet that if a pin drops , it will be heard "Now Cassy go look for somewhere to sit "miss sarah commanded before turning around to continue her teaching . Cassy walked to an empty seat She sighted before . But as she was about to sit,Laura place her bag there "It's been taken "she said nonchalantly before facing the teacher as if nothing happened . Laura and Mandy are best friends and they happens to be among the school prettiest making them have fling of friends . "Hey come over "a girl who Cassy was seeing in the class for the first time signaled her to an empty seat close to hers . "Thank you"Cassy said sitting down "You are welcome "she said jotting down something from what miss Sarah was teaching .

Few minutes later , the bell rang signifying the class over .miss Sarah left after giving the students an assignment. Soon the student started leaving the classroom leaving Cassy with the girl she was just seeing for the first time . "Aren't you going out for lunch " she asked Cassy arranging her books "No thanks "Cassy answered after a moment of silent as she was shocked that the girl was still being nice she thought after offering her a seat ,that was it but unknown to her she just found a new friend.

"Am Mara and you " she asked "Cassandra am Cassandra Justine but you can just call me Cassy " "Alright that's fine but I noticed you had no friend with what happened earlier today do you mind being friends with me "Mara asked "Am new here today is my first day in this school "she added after a moment seeing that Cassy was quiet . It seems what is meant to be will definitely come to pass even if we believe or not Cassy was dumbstruck for a few minutes never expecting to hear what Mara just spilled oh. "Okay friends"Cassy replied "Thanks so let's go out to eat don't just sit here while others are having fun out there "Mara said excitedly genuinely happy she made a friend on her first day . Just like it's said "we don't know tomorrow or what will happen " no one expected to see the ugliest girl in the school cafeteria with someone . Students kept whispering to each other until ,all eyes were up ,to be sure what was whispered to them, was actually correct . every eyes was focused on Cassy and the unknown girl which they assume to be a new student even the prettiest girl's circle wasn't left out "Look who we have here "Mandy said, on seeing Cassy and all the students sitting with her turned ,to see what she was talking about . On seeing Cassy,they started laughing "Oh poor girl she suddenly wants to break away from her shell "one of the student said "And she has to go back to that shell of hers "Laura added with a smirk "Don't listen or even try to mind what they are saying" Mara whispered to Cassy as they walk to an empty seat and a table ignoring everyone piercing eyes on them "Just sit while I go get something for both of us to e............ Mara was saying to Cassy but was cut short by the scream from Cassy Cassy had felt a cold liquid on her head not expecting something like that, she screamed and quickly look up only to see Mandy . She has just poured her cup of ice cream on Cassy . "Did you just pour your stinking ice cream on me"Cassy asked furiously "Oh she just asked me even when she is seeing it with her eyes well let me answer you as the good girl that I am yes I did what will you do hnn?"mandy asked with so much pride believing that Cassy has nothing to do to her as always "Mandy Mandy Mandy!!!!!" the whole students in the cafeteria started cheering Mandy up which made Cassy feigning in anger "Our beautiful Mandy with guts "Laura added "Am really sorry Cassy I never knew this will happen I wouldn't have brought you here it's all my fault come let's leave here so you can wash off the stain on your hair "Mara said feeling sorry for Cassy . She quickly held Cassy's hand to lead her out of the cafeteria "Ugly bitch you just asked a question "Did you just pour your stinking ice cream on me"mandy said mimicking Cassy I thought you were going to do something to me you irritate me with your ugly face just get lost out of my sight "Mandy said disgustingly pushing cassy's head and the whole students starting laughing. No one expected it but it happened Cassy turned angrily dragging mandy's hair then a fight broke out between the two . No one dared coming close not even Laura . Mandy not expecting that Cassy will fight back missed her step and fell without wasting time Cassy jumped on her pouncing on her Mandy was threatening to deal with Cassy but at that moment Cassy wasn't just going to stand up until she is satisfied Most people that run their mouth don't really have the strength to fight and Mandy was among such people "Stop it Cassy!"the authoritative voice of the vice principal mrs Carmelita rang in the cafeteria's building making the student face their meal Cassy got up from Mandy a little satisfied with the beating she has given Mandy "Both of you should come with me " mrs carmelita ordered taking the lead followed by Cassy and Mandy because no one messes with mrs carmelita the school Vice Principal a woman of few words yet many actions It is believed that if mrs carmelita was the school principal no one will misbehave in the school arena . "You broke one of the school's rule by fighting first "mrs carmelita said staring at Cassy "She started it first "Cassy said in a bid to defend her self "Shut up I didn't ask who started it first " mrs carmelita thundered "Now Cassy for starting the fight you will be cleaning my office till I relieve you of the punishment only you that's for starting the fight first while you and Mandy will be cleaning the girls restroom till I also relieve you of the punishment is that understood?" After a long day the closing bell was finally rang. Mara went to the rest room so Cassy was waiting for her in the hallway . After more that 20minutes yet she wasn't coming Cassy went to look for her . On opening the rest room,Cassy saw Mara on the floor with her hands and legs tied . Without wasting time Cassy untied her "Who did this to you "Cassy asked helping her up "Mandy and her friends "Mara replied crying It broke Cassy's heart seeing someone who cares about her apart from her mom hurt all because of her . "Am sorry everything will be fine "Cassy assured Mara . Both took a bus home and even found out that they live in the same street Happy was an understatement how Cassy felt it seems heaven was finally remembering her . "Oh so much drama today yet my crush wasn't even in school I just hope he is alright "Cassy thought silently as she open the door to the house The next day Cassy woke up ,did her morning routine by having her bath , brushing and getting ready for school Today she wore a white sleeve with a blue skirt added a little makeup on her face ,took her bag and ran downstairs excitedly with the thought of Mara and Fredrick. She greeted her mum and made to leave "Aren't you eating?" Her mum asked "No mum am late bye "she said smiling. She ran out all the way to mara's place . on getting there, Mara ,was just coming out of her house . They boarded a bus to school On getting to the school premises,Cassy ran to the vice principal's office for cleaning it didn't take up to 15 minutes for the cleaning so she proceeded to the girls restroom as fast as she could before student starts coming in so she won't have to be cleaning while they mess up the floor before her very eyes . Cassy saw a junior student cleaning the side Mandy was supposed to . Anyways she was not surprised as she knows Mandy enough that she will never bend to do anything "Poor girl I wonder if Mandy bullied her to do this work "Cassy murmured to her own hearing Without wasting any time Cassy started her own work .She hasn't done even half of the cleaning when a heap of used tissue started falling on her and immediately Mandy and her click of friend came in taking pictures and videos of her . Without minding what was happening, Cassy quickly pack up the tissue into the waste bin and continued her cleaning before lesson starts. Cassy ran to class after cleaning luckily for her it was few minutes to lesson period but to her surprise she saw a lot of student already sitted it was unusual because some students don't come to class until the bell for lessons commencement was heard . Something else but embarrassing happened . as Cassy stepped into the class student started laughing "Oh here comes the ugly bitch she is not just ugly now but she smells like feces "Laura said laughing as expected everyone joined in the laughter except Mara . She only signaled for Cassy to come Ignoring everyone , Cassy walk up to Mara who showed her the video where tissue papers were falling on her inside the restroom. The video has gone viral in the schools's group . Tired of everything Cassy ran out crying while on the other hand a victorious smile was plastered on Mandy's face .

Without knowing where else to go , Cassy went to the school's garden .

Getting there,no one was there making her feel relaxed in pouring out her heart "What did I do to deserve all of this ? What wrong have I ever done to Laura and Mandy that they hate me so much?is it because am not beautiful?"thousands of questions was running through her mind but she kept assuring her self that everything will be okay one day Someone cleared his throat making Cassy look around and saw the last person she wants to see in such state that she was in" Fredrick" she never wanted Fred to see her in such pitiful moments She felt like running into his arms that would have help reduce the pain she was feeling but no she couldn't . that will not appear okay it will appear throwing her self on a man she knows nothing about. She just wiped her tears and stood up to leave . "Do you want to talk about it ?" Fred asked Not believing her ears Cassy stopped walking Fredrick just asked her that ? He isn't irritated by her ? "Am fine ,it's nothing "Cassy said That wasn't what she wanted to say She wanted to run into his arms and tell him how hurt she is being alone and then bully by pretty people because of how she looks wasn't life unfair to her ?but she couldn't only thing she could do at that moment was to walk away which she did . Cassy summon up courage and went to class . on getting to class ,she saw Fredrick already sitted in class . "Is he a ghost how come he got to class before me "Cassy murmured "Cassy you are late again to my class mrs Sarah asked obviously angry with Cassy for always coming late to her class I guess you don't want to suffocated due to some feces smell "Laura Said laughing and the whole students joined "Quiet "miss Sarah shouted "Cassy meet me in my office "miss Sarah said leaving the class followed by Cassy . On getting to miss Sarah's office ,she offered Cassy a seat which Cassy sat on waiting for her punishment because no one will go Scott free when a teacher leaves a class because of that person "Cassy you are always late to my class "miss Sarah said "What actually is wrong with you "she asked starring at Cassy maybe expecting to get a reply by Cassy's facial expression "Nothing ma"Cassy answered ignoring miss Sarah's glare "Nothing? You mean nothing yet you are always late to my class ? Cassy something is wrong with you because I don't see any reason you are always late to class. you know what, I don't want to see you in my class for two weeks "miss Sarah said in one breath "But ma " "No but " miss Sarah shush Cassy "You are suspended from my class for two weeks and if by two weeks this act continues I will be left with no other option than to expel you from ever entering my class or taking my subject "miss Sarah said with a tone of finality "Yes ma" Cassy answered "Good you may leave " miss Sarah said pointing at the door . Cassy left miss Sarah's office thinking about her life. Life has been messy for her "How do she expect that I catch up with the other students if I miss class for two whole weeks and not on any other subject but English "Cassy murmured with so much pains as it really dawn on her that miss Sarah was serious with the suspension stuff. she was so lost in her thinking that she unknowingly entered an abandoned class crying. Two boys jumped into the class through an open ceiling laughing.startled Cassy looked up and saw two unknown faces whom she assume to be a member of the school . Seeing their scaring faces, Cassy got up and tried running out of the room.but she was caught by another boy at the door then she realized that they were three in number . "Our ugly warrior "one of the boys said mockingly "Pls let me go "Cassy pleaded crying The second boy pushed her on the floor "Please let me go "the third boy mimicked Cassy "so you have the mouth to beg "he asked laughing The second boy tore Cassy's sleeve "we aren't killing you we will only rape you ,then post the sex tape then the whole students in this school will see your stupid and ugly body since you had the guts to disgrace Mandy "the first boy said waving an android phone on Cassy's face At the mention of Mandy , that was when Cassy knew what all was happening was all about . "She started everything.ever since I stepped my foot into this school she has always been bullying me she hates me so much even when we have never had an argument nor quarrel but just the only time I fought back that was when the vice principal came into the matter we both was punished still yet she disgrace me this morning by making used tissue pour on me and even videoed it and also posted it on the schools group yet she also had the guts to send boy to rape me ?what have I ever done to her to deserve all this "Cassy asked crying But the boys paid deaf to what Cassy was saying and proceeded to what they came for . The third boy stuck a piece of cloth in Cassy's mouth to prevent her from shouting then tore her skirt Lost of hope Cassy resorted to crying since she couldn't over power three boys . The boys paid deaf to Cassy's cry but someone who acts as Cassy's shadow unknowingly to Cassy didn't. Just like a dream ,Cassy saw him.he pushed the two boys standing and landed a heavy punch on the boy trying to find his way into Cassy
