The Lycan King's Trophy Wife

Author: : Lotus Flower
Genre: Werewolf
"Who are you to question me?" He howled angrily, his face red with rage and his fists clenched tightly. "Because I am your wife and you are to treat my family with respect," I yelled at his face, his face went pale and I saw the corner of his lips curved in a deadly grin. "Wife you said! Since when have you been bearing that title?" he asked with a little bit of amusement in his tone. "I have become your wife, right from the moment you have my father signed those documents and you are not to go against your words, only if you wish to break your own rules," I smirked back at him, his mouth clamped shut for a second, and I thought he had given in to my tricks. "Now, dear wife," The Lycan King stood up from the wooden chair and cup my cheeks in his hands. "I'm letting it slide this time because you're my wife-to-be and you're yet to learn the basic principles of the Royal." he ran his fingers on my face and my stomach churned in disgust. I wished he would realise how disgusted I felt by having his fingers on my face. I couldn't say anything, I let him do as he pleased and he stopped when he realised I wasn't going to bicker with him. "Take her to my room, I shall teach her a lesson never to go against her husband." All my life, I had always thought I would be getting married to a prince charming. What happened when the man I was getting married to was no prince charming? And worse? He was the evil Lycan King that I had hated all my life. The rule was simple. Marry the Lycan King in my sister's place, or have my family and the entire pack burn to ashes.

Chapter 1 1

Nova's pov

There has never been a time in my life where I felt like the ground should open up and swallow me than now. My eyes burnt with tears and my hands balled into a fist in anger and pain. Just a week ago, I was just a carefree young lady, living life like a normal young adult would, and today, here I was getting dressed in a fine signature wedding dress from the Lycan pack.

A wedding dress that wasn't meant for me, but it was my fate to wear it.

Every lady's dream was to get married to that one person they loved dearly but in my case, it wasn't a thing. I dreaded the thought of getting married to that bloodthirsty beast, and the thought of mating with him brought tears to my eyes.

"Should I fix your makeup now, Princess?" Shayna, my maid asked for the second time and I moved my face to meet with her gaze. As I had thought, she had a faint smile on her face and I couldn't believe it.

It seemed like I was the only one who wasn't happy about the whole thing.

"Does it looks like I could wear makeup like this?" I asked in disbelief, pointing at the stream of tears that wouldn't stop rolling down my eyes.

Shayna must have understood what I meant because the faint smile disappeared from her face, almost immediately. She sighed and dropped the brush on the table. She exhaled before moving her hand to my face.

"Princess, I know how hard it was for you and your family, but I want you to believe in the plan and everything will be fine." balls of tears rolled down her eyes as she said those words, and she cupped my cheeks in her palms, brushing away my tears with her thumbs while she let hers fell freely.

"Everything will be fine?" I scoffed and nodded as if there was anything that four words could do.

"Aren't you people tired of saying those words, when it's obvious it wasn't doing anything to make me feel better?" I arched my brows which made Shayna clamp her mouth shut.

"I'm sorry, Princess," Shayna mumbled and I felt guilty for raising my voice at her when she didn't do me any wrong.

I didn't mean to shut her up because I enjoyed hearing her voice, her voice soothed me a little but I couldn't just keep up with those words.

"Shayna. Can you just..."

"Princess, Alpha and Luna are here. I shall open the door for them." came from the guard that was guarding my door.

I exchanged a knowing look with Shayna and she wiped off her tears.

"If that will be all, please excuse me." she closed the makeup kit, bowed and rushed out of my room.

"Greetings, Alpha. Greetings, Luna." I heard the faint voice of my maid greeting my parents, followed by the opening and closing of the door.

I sighed sadly when I heard the approaching footsteps of my parents.

"Novalie dear,"

"Princess,"

"Mom. Dad. Please I don't want to do this." I busted into tears and Mom rushed up to my side.

I did not know what that was for. Was it because I suddenly want to back out of the plan or because I was crying? Because of this whole thing, I wasn't able to read my parents' emotions anymore and it was frustrating.

"Novelie..." Mom sighed, she crouched beside me and took my hand in hers. She shut her lid and let out a sigh. "I also wish I could stop you from going. But you know better than anyone else, we don't have any power to go against him." she let out and I forcefully withdrew my hands from hers.

"Dad?" I raised my eyebrows at Dad who hasn't said a word since they got here, he seemed taken aback at the mention of his name and he coughed slightly.

"I'm sorry, Princess. No one has ever gone against him before." Dad facepalm as he said those uncourageous words to me.

I turned away from them and rested my head on the furniture.

"Get out!" I didn't know why I was getting mad at my parents when they weren't the cause of the problem, but I had to take out my anger on them because they were the leaders of the pack and their species were the ones who committed a crime I was going to pay for.

"Leave! The both of you should get the hell away from my room!" I picked up a wine glass from the table and threw it in their direction.

Mom jumped in fright when the glass fell on her toes, she jumped and fell into Dad's arms.

"Why is this happening to me? Why?" I yelled at my reflection in the mirror. I gripped my sleeve and went down on my knees.

"What have I done wrong to deserve this?" I cried out, the tears were just too heavy for me to keep in so I let them out.

I heard muffled cries beside me and then I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders. Pulling me for a hug.

••• A WEEK EARLIER •••

I watched my father from the dining room as he sat across the Royal messenger in our living room. There seemed to be a warning notice from the Lycan King and my father was signing some documents with a shaky hand. He glanced over at my sister, Tamsyn, and shook his head before handing over the documents back to the Royal messenger.

"Since you've agreed to the conditions I shall take my leave." said the aged man, he stood up from the settee and marched out without waiting for my father's response.

Mom scurried out of the dining room to my father who was staring into space. She got to him and sat on the edge of the settee Dad was sitting on.

"Darling, what was the letter about? What did the Lycan King say?" Mom asked, running her thumbs on the back of Dad's palms in the hope of calming him down.

"There's no point in watching from here, let's go to them, let's hear what happened," Tamsyn suggested, she grabbed my arm and pulled me up from the seat.

"Nothing good ever comes from the Lycan King. Everything about that beast screams 'horror'," Tamsyn mumbled to herself and of course, I heard it.

"Why are you not saying anything?" Balls of sweat has started to form on Dad's forehead by the time we got to the living room.

Upon seeing us approaching them, he stood up to his feet and pulled Tamsyn to his side, he pulled her in for a hug and broke down in tears.

"I'm so sorry, Tam, I'm so sorry that I agreed to his condition," Dad said amidst his cries which made me pull a sceptical look at him.

"Can you please calm down, Randale?" Mom moved closer to Dad and freed Tamsyn from his grip. "If you continue to be like this, how do you expect us to know what happened and how to address the issue?" fear was written on her face as she spoke, she took Dad's hand and escorted him back to the settee.

I pulled Tamsyn by her sleeve and we sat on the settee across from our parents, where the Royal messenger was sitting, a while ago.

"Just take a deep breath and tell us what happened." Mom kept on nudging him to tell us what the Lycan King said.

"Um," Dad looked over at us, and when his gaze met with Tamsyn, he looked away in guilt. "The Lycan King found out about the treason our species caused and he..."

"He did what?" mom couldn't bear with the tension anymore, she tugged at his arms and made him looked at her. "I don't care about how he got to know about the treason that was committed in our pack. Tell me, what does he want?"

"As you know, the leaders are the ones he usually punished for the crime committed in the pack." Dad gulped, he shrugged his shoulders, freeing himself from Mom's grip. "He decided to punish this household by having Tamsyn..."

"Tamsyn for what?" Mom howled, standing up to her feet to have a clear view of Dad.

"As his... Wife!"

"What!" Mom gasped in shock.

Tamsyn ran out of the living room before we knew it. I ran after my sister just in case she tried to do anything stupid to herself, there, I met her in her room, her face buried in the toilet sink, puking out her lungs.

"Tam, please calm down." I rushed up to her and sat down beside her on the cold floor.

"How can I calm down?" She shrieked and I moved away from her while still sitting on the floor. "How can I calm down when the ruthless Lycan King want me?" she broke down and sobbed like a child.

"Ahh,"

"You wouldn't understand, Novalie, you aren't in my shoe so you wouldn't understand me." she sniffed and rubbed her stomach through her thin clothes.

"What is there to not understand?" I sighed, and moved closer to her, I moved my palm to her back and rubbed her back gently. "The beast everyone in the nation feared the most want to have you as his wife, I clearly understand how you feel." I never knew I was at the brink of tears until I felt water fell on my lap.

Tamsyn sighed and dropped her face in her palms. "As I have said, you can't understand." she insisted that I didn't understand when I clearly understood her hatred for the Lycan King.

"Is it about your best friend that the Lycan King slaughtered because she impeded his practice?" I asked to be sure I wasn't a novice to the Lycan King's malfeasance.

Tamsyn chuckled weirdly and I stared at her in shock, nothing was funny and I wondered why she was laughing.

"My mate has marked me and I'm with his child!" she shrieked and I held my chest in shock.

••• Present •••

"Please you have to be strong for us, else he's going to kill us all." Dad caressed my hair as I had my head buried in his chest.

Mom wouldn't stopped crying and I couldn't stop my tears from falling, either.

"Please you have to be strong for your sister." mom sniffled back her tears.

"Everything will be fine." Dad kept caressing my hair which did nothing to help me with the pain I was feeling.

Just when I thought we were the only ones in the world, there came a honking of car horns from outside, indicating the arrival of the Lycan King's men.

"It's time for you to leave, Princess." Dad notified me and I clutched tight at his shirt.

"Please, Dad I don't want to go. Please command those bastards to go back to their pack." I cried heavily and I felt Dad's hard grip on my shoulder, pulling me away from him.

"Please do this for your sister." He said without sparring me a glance. He pulled me by my wrist and began to drag me out of my room.

"Dad. Mom please tell Dad to stop this madness." I yelled over to Mom who wouldn't raise her face to look at us.

"Dad!" I kept hitting his arm but my fist had nothing on his strong arm. "Dad please don't take me to them, I want to stay here with you and Mom." I cried bitterly as he wouldn't stop dragging me with him.

His grip on my wrist was so strong that it began to hurt me. "Dad?" I cried out for him to know that he was hurting me.

"I'm sorry, Princess." He turned around and pulled me to his chest, there I felt his hot tears fell on my arm.

Chapter 2 2

Nova's pov

Every parent's wish was to see the day they would be walking their children down the aisle, with smiles on their faces. Neither my parents would be walking me down the aisle, nor did they have that smile on their faces as they walked me out of my room.

Mom mumbled a curse word as we spotted the Lycan king's men in our compound, waiting by their parked car with their cold gazes everywhere but on us.

"Dad," I suddenly called out to Dad making him abruptly stop on his track.

"Yes, Princess?" he gulped down the guilty lump and I felt his nervous gaze on me.

"Is there a thing you could do to stop me from going?" I knew there was nothing anyone could do to change the Lycan King's will, but I couldn't help but ask that question.

"Um," he sighed and moved his hands to my shoulders. "I understand how you're feeling and I'm worrying about you, but I don't know what to do, or how to go against him."

"Go against him?" Mom scuffed from the back and I wondered what was on her mind.

"You can't possibly go against him and you know that. I won't allow you to endanger the thousands of lives that reside in this pack just so you could save the life of our daughter." Mom spat with all seriousness and that reminded me of whom my parents were.

"The pack safety comes first." I nodded my head, I had always known my parents to be the most plausible leader that had ever ruled the pack. They would put their lives on the line to protect our species. But never have I thought they would someday pick the pack over me.

"What's the point of being a leader if you can't take responsibility for your species' actions?" Mom sighed and that made me angry.

"Sorry?" I shrugged my shoulders, letting Dad's hands slip off my shoulders. "Do you think that would make you a wise leader if you make your daughter serve a punishment in your stead?" I glared at her and I watched her face fell instantly.

"Guess you don't know what it means to take 'responsibility' after all." I rolled my eyes and walked out on her.

"Novalie!" Dad yelled out my name but I was too angry to acknowledge his caution. I walked up to the two men and they had their gazes fixed on me as soon as I got to them.

"Take me out of this place," I muttered to the guy who stood by the passenger side.

I grabbed the handle of the car, ready to open the door when I felt a strong hold on my hand preventing me from opening the door.

"Sorry?" I glared at the guy and of course, he didn't react. "What?" I sighed before retrieving my hand from the handle to have a proper look at him.

"You shouldn't go in until Alpha Randale sign..." the guy was still saying when we both saw Dad walking towards us.

"Princess,"

"You have to sign this paper, Alpha Randale." the guy didn't waste a second before handing over the paper to Dad and he signed it without checking the content.

I was worried as I saw Dad gave back the paper to the guy without going through it. I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't say anything. What's there to worry about when the worst was already happening?

"Can I go in now?" I asked the same guy, totally ignoring my Dad.

He nodded his head, "Sure, you may enter."

I grabbed the handle and twisted the door open. Dad moved to say something but I got inside the car and shut the door on his face.

"Please go." I wiped off the tears that were threatening to fall before resting my head on the seat headrest.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the stranger drive me out of the place I'd known to be my home. I couldn't help but let my tears stream down my cheeks as memories flooded my brain.

The drive was going smoothly until the driver suddenly stepped on the break, pulling the car to an unexpected halt.

I flapped my eyes open to see the shock of my life. Shayna, my maid was in the middle of the road with her arms stretched open. Seeing the car has came to a halt, she ran up to us and forced the door open.

'Please tell me you came to rescue me' I silently prayed to the moon goddess.

Shayna propped her head in and flashed out a toothy smile. "I can't let you go on your own. Please take me with you."

"Shayna!" I burst into tears as she entered into the backseat and pulled me in for a hug.

••• 3 DAYS EARLIER •••

I thought we were having a bad day until the dispatcher arrived. I was in my room, gazing out of my window when I saw the dispatcher entering into our building with a box in his hands. I moved away from the window to see Tamsyn nodding off on my bed with her face up.

I never knew I'd zoomed out for that long because I could remember Tamsyn was saying something to me earlier.

I walked up to her and placed her head gently on the buffer. I removed the book she was reading from her lap and placed it on the nightstand table.

Taking a last look at her, I stepped out of my room to ask what the dispatcher delivered to us.

I had merely taken a few steps away from my room when I began to hear voices that I knew to belong to my parents, arguing in the downstairs living room.

"What's the problem this time?" Tamsyn mumbled beside me, startling me.

"You were sleeping before I..."

"Do I need to remind you how nasty you can be when shutting the door? Of course, you woke me up when you were closing the door." she grinned and I chuckled slightly.

I could be nasty at times, but I never knew it was that loud, hence I would have left the door open. "Sorry."

"It's okay."

"Hmm," I mumbled, "I think there was a message from the Lycan King," I muttered, even though I wasn't sure if the box was sent by the Lycan King. But the richly designed box made it makes sense that it was from him.

"Really?" Tamsyn rolled her eyes nonchalantly. "Tell me about it." she yawned very loudly and propped her elbows on the rails, staring at our parents who were arguing over what was best known to them.

"I do not know," I uttered, Tamsyn shrugged and rubbed her stomach through her thick dress.

"What does he take himself for? How dare he proceed with the wedding without letting us know?" Mom made an unearthly yell and I bent over to have a look at what was going on down there.

"Watch what you say, Mackenzie! You have to watch what you say when talking about the Lycan King!" Dad toned down.

"That is it! What is he? Is he a god?" Mom flared, "he might govern over us but he does not own us. How dare he ordered us to send our daughter over in the next three days? Is that how marriage works?"

"What?" Tamsyn gasped in shock, she moved away from the rail and began running back to my room.

'This is bad' I mumbled, slamming my fist on the rail.

"Wait up, Tamsyn!" I ran after my sister but she has already bolted the door from the inside before I got there.

"Tam?" I knocked on the door but I didn't get any response from the inside.

"Tamsyn?" I called out to her again, but she didn't open the door.

"Just stay in there, I'm going to get the keycard." I turned around to leave but then, I heard the door crept open.

"Nova!" Tamsyn burst into tears the moment I entered my room. She was on the floor, crying her eyes out in front of me. "I can't show my face to the Lycan king. Not in this state, he will kill me if he find out that I am carrying a pup in my womb."

Somehow, I felt sorry for her, she never signed up for any of these and I didn't know how to help my sister escape her dilemma.

Standing there with my hand gripping tight onto the doorknob, I shook my head as the ugly idea flashed through my mind, I didn't want to suggest it but I couldn't help seeing my sister that way.

"Tamsyn!" I shut tight my lid as I was about to say something that was going to put thousands of lives in danger. "Run. Run far away with your lover. Leave this pack this instance. go and never return until everything is over." I went pail as those words left my mom without blinking.

"Nova..."

"Go before mom and dad get here!" I yelled, Tamsyn got up from the floor, she stood in front of me, tears swelled up her eyes and her body trembled in fear.

"What will happen if Dad finds out about this?" she whispered and I forced out a sad smile.

"Worry about yourself." I gulped hard like never before. "Now, leave!" I pushed her out of my room and she staggered backwards.

"Nova? Please let's think this through." she pleaded with her eyes. I could see the fear in her eyes and I was scared too. The thought of the Lycan king finding out about this scared me to the bone but I couldn't show it to her, I needed to be brave for her.

"There's nothing to think. Worry about your little pup." tears streamed down my eyes as I watched her rub her stomach. She smiled at me and I nodded for her to go.

"I'm sorry, Nova!" that was the last thing Tamsyn said to me before dashing out of my sight.

My legs gave way and I fell on my knees when realisation of what I just did dawned on me.

"I'm doomed!" I mentally hit my head on the floor. Just then, I heard approaching footsteps that I sensed belonged to my parents.

••• Present •••

"We are here," Shayna whispered into my ear, jolting me out of my thoughts.

"Already?" I raised my brows in disbelief.

I zoomed out throughout the drive here and I was surprised as to how she would be saying we were already at the Lycan pack when it seemed like we left our pack only a minute ago.

"Yes, we are," Shayna whispered yet again and I wondered what was with her.

"What's wrong? Why are you whispering?" I moved my gaze from the backseat to the driver's seat to see that we were the only ones in the car. "Where are they?" I inquired, unable to believe that they would leave us in the car all by ourselves.

"He..." Shayna looked around before moving closer to me. "He went to dispose her body." She said and I wondered if what she just said made any sense to her.

"Dispose whose body?" I tried looking behind me but Shayna was fast enough to cover my face with her palm.

"There's blood everywhere, don't look," she whispered yet again, and I tensed at the mention of blood.

"Whose blood?" I asked the most stupid question ever. Neither I nor Shayna have been here before, yet I was asking about things she had no idea of.

"Your supposed maid. Apparently, a maid was assigned to you, but unfortunately, she wasn't here on time to fetch you, she got called and was slaughtered for toying with her job." Shayna threw her head on the headrest.

"What? Gracious goodness!" I gasped, my heart was beating like crazy and I felt like I should open the car door and run for my life, but that was not the wise thing to do.

"What if we end up like her?" Shayna mumbled and I felt my heart tighten in fear.

Chapter 3 3

Prescott's pov

Sitting behind this huge oak desk, examining different cases, from different packs was one thing I never enjoyed doing since I became the nation King.

Aside from being the Lycan's King, I was also the head King of the werewolves. My spices believed that the werewolves were our kind and they were too mild to lead on their own.

I never believed that until I became the King after my father passed away. The werewolf wanted to prove to me that they were more than strong enough to rule their kind but I never ceased to prove to them how mild they were.

Going through these files made me realise I was doing a good job in putting them in their places. Since I made the rules and gave severe punishment to the ones who broke the rules, there has been peace in the nation and I was grateful for that.

A knock came on the door, I sighed and glanced at the wall clock to check if I had an appointment with anyone. But I wasn't expecting anyone until later.

"Yes?" I grumbled, ushering whoever was by the door in.

The door crept open and the first thing that greeted me was that familiar scent, it was the royal Beta.

"Yes, Wharton?" I groaned, knowing he was here to add to my work. "What do you want?" I asked, dropping the file on the table.

Moving my gaze from the file to the well-built man in front of me, a smirk found its way to the corner of my lips. The confused look on his face made me want to roll on the floor in laughter but I was too busy to do that.

"Sit!" I gestured to the seat across from me, he scoffed before shoving his butt into the seat.

"Prescott," he groaned out my name and I arc my brows at him.

"The title is 'Lycan King' understood?" I folded my arms around my chest, throwing him an unpleasant glare.

"But the name is 'Prescott' right?" he smirked and I waved my hand in the air in dismissed.

"Whatever. Why are you here?" I picked up another file and I didn't bother to check what the issue was before throwing it inside the bin.

"I heard that she's here," Wharton said, and for a second I didn't know who he was referring to.

"Who is here?" I asked, I couldn't recall who was coming and hearing that out of the blue did nothing to remind me of who was coming.

"Your bride." he spat angrily. Anger was clearly shown on his pretty face and that amused me.

"My... Oh, the werewolf girl!" I chuckled dryly. I forgot about her. I never knew my best friend would be so worked up over a mere werewolf.

"What about her?" I asked anyways, if I want to know what was going on in the royal Beta's head, I better ask.

"Why are you shoving your head in these... Stuff, when your bride is here, waiting for you in the Royals building?" he rolled his eyes and I held back my laughter.

"And since when did you begin to be nosy?" I propped my elbows on the table, staring into his dark eyes with keen interest.

"Nosy? She's your bride and that makes her part of the family." he moved his gaze to the window and I let out a sigh.

"What family? I never said she's part of the family." I was already getting angry. I had never assumed the werewolves to be one of my kind, but my best friend was crossing the line.

"But she's your bride, how does that not make her part of the family?" he slammed his hands on the desk which made a harsh noise.

"Oh, Hart, she'll never be part of the family. I hate werewolves." I said, and that seemed to calm him a little.

"Of course, I know you don't like her kind. But why did you want to make her your bride?" If Wharton was to be a girl, I would have say I smelled jealousy in his tone.

"Bride?" I scoffed, the thought of making the werewolf girl my bride made me want to barf. "Man, I need no werewolf bride!"

"You're confusing me." Wharton hissed.

"Wharton, what I need her for is not my bride, her role in this pack is not even a memorable one," I smirked, recalling what I had planned to do with her.

"What's on your mind?" his eyebrows met as he had a curious look plastered on his face.

"Nothing!" I cleared my throat before picking up the last file for the day.

"You can't tell me nothing." he retorted and I glared at him.

"Do you want to keep quiet or I should drive you out of my office?" I never planned to share it with him, knowing Wharton, he would tease me with it until I die.

"Whatever." he yawned before standing up from the seat.

"I need to deliver a file to the council."

"Just get out already." I groaned. Wharton shook his head, laughing like an idiot before striding out of the room.

I picked up the file and began to check the content.

It was already late by the time I was done with the last file. I got up from the seat and head out of my office. A guard ran up to me and bowed in respect.

"I will escort you, Lycan King," he said, his hands intertwined behind his back, with his gaze on the floor.

"You can retire for the day, I will head to my quarter on my own." I patted his back before walking away.

The hypocritical werewolves called me Beast, demon, monster and whatever evil name they could form in their head. While my kind called me a gracious man. I never really cared about what they all thought of me because it didn't change anything about me.

I got to the Royal building and all the people I passed by bowed their heads in respect. I didn't reply to any of their greetings as I walked passed them. I got to my chamber and headed straight to the bathroom, it was no surprise that no maids were seen wandering around in my quarter, I didn't like the idea of having a maid around me.

After having a quick bath, I slipped into a washed jeans and a black long robe. I left the buttons undone and packed my shiny black hair up, with a few strands leaving the band.

I strolled out of my chamber and headed to where I had asked the maid to prepare for Randale's daughter.

"Alpa Randale, a foolish man he is." I scoffed, the thought of him trying to be self-reliant made me loathe him, I heard he loved his daughters and I wanted to see him in agony by using his daughter as his weakness, but he never bugged.

I thought at least he would crawl on his fours but he never do that. He gave his daughter up for his pack and I would make sure he regretted his action for the rest of his life.

Getting to the princess's chamber, I walked in and met her standing by the window. She must have sensed my presence in her room, she hastily turned away from the window.

Her gaze met mine and I immediately felt my face stiffened. She seemed shocked to see me and I felt there was more to that.

I took a step forward, the more I stared at her face, the more I sensed that something was off with her.

"Lycan king," a voice yelled behind me, panting heavily as he walked in. "Please you need to see something." I moved my gaze away from the Princess and I was surprised to see the guy that was sent to fetch the Princess was the one yelling my name.

"What?" I hollered and he hastily bowed his head, shivering in terror.

"I fear there was something I need you to see," he said, I sighed and moved my gaze to the Princess.

She stood there, watching us with her hands entwined to the front. I glared at her for the last time before turning away from her.

"Lead the way."

With that been said, he straightened and lead me out of the room. I couldn't shake the thought of the Princess off my mind and something in me said something was wrong.
