Evelyn walked gracefully through the tombstone erected for my parents going down the memory lane

It was twelve years ago when rogues invaded the pack at that time Evelyn was 5 years old my father quickly hid her in a secret passage with her nanny patting Evelyn's head

gently telling her he would be back soon and I nodded obediently waiting while hearing the sounds and cry of wounded pack members then he rushed off to the door looking backing again before heading out to join Evelyn's mother the pack Luna in the fight..... Evelyn couldn't remember how many hours she and her nanny stood there but by the time they got out it was nightfall and the pack members looked downcast claiming that the rogues killed everyone in the Alpha family, leaving only Evelyn as the last descendant and due to fact her parents couldn't bare any male child I was inaugurated as the Luna from there on with the hopes of me having a strong Alpha as my mate

Tyler sighed as he got dressed for today he had to go to the pack house in preparation of the Luna's birthday coming up soon. the pack needed omegas such as himself to do all the heavy lifting work, Tyler couldn't just understand why they behaved like that. They were clearly stronger than omegas yet they had to do all the work .

Tyler wore his clothes and glasses then hopped on his old bicycle before cycling to the pack house just as soon as he reached the pack house, Tyler was greeted by the Gamma's daughter Beverly Isaac and He internally groaned like as she had always been bugging him probably because he was weak, he doesn't know what her problem wass " if it isn't our little pup " Ralph my wolf growled in disagreement he hates being called a pup 'you just have to bear with for my sake ' Tyler told him

"Luna" Evelyn heard the Beta Lockwood call her from behind, she turned to face him revealing her silver eyes that looked dull she was the Luna of the moonstone pack Evelyn Megatons after losing her parents at the early age of 5 and she had been ruling the pack of wolves with the help of the Beta and Gamma of course ,but had not yet transformed into her wolf form which will be happening during her next birthday coming up the next new moon in three months time "what happened that you decided to interrupt my peace this time around " Evelyn said with authority and amusement gleaming in her eyes ,yes she was the first female leader and she was young but Evelyn was one of the most feared pack leader in the whole world that the other pack don't dare mess with and that too without a wolf.

She had trained herself to be like this because even as a child she knew her parents death was murder and wanted to be ready to plan out her revenge on whoever tried to mess with the Megatons family... " Luna your clothes for your celebration has arrived and the tailor would like you to check them out " The Beta said with his head bowed down " okay " was Evelyn reply before strolling pass him to go meet the tailor.

They were passing through the pack house lounge when Evelyn heard voices, pausing her steps she turned towards the source of the noise and started heading there " tell the tailor I would be there soon" Evelyn said coolly ... Reaching there Evelyn met Beverly bullying an omega 'Humph seems like this pack never learns after punishing them severally because of several bullying cases they still do it I was starting to get frustrated at her highly pitched voice yelling " you should know better than causing trouble in the pack house Beverly " Evelyn said coldly while using one side of her eyes to size the omega and gawd was he hot but being covered in those baggy clothes don't suit him " you go to your work post now " Evelyn said to him and he immediately scurried off 'tch

spineless ' She thought " and you go to your father and report yourself to him .... Next time I catch you bulling I may not be that nice again" Evelyn said sternly while twirling my silver hair before turning to go to my original destination....

' Omg he can't believe he just saw the Luna and she stood up for him' Tyler thought as he tried to calm his beating heart down. She was just so pretty with her silver hair and eyes and she also treated Beverly fuck up again.

' He was just so excited about it ' Tyler snap out if it she is the Luna and you are an ordinary Omega ' He chanted inwardly oh how I wish I was a good looking Alpha So I could even stand a chance of being her mate....

Evelyn couldn't get her mind of the Omega she just saw he is just so cute " Luna the Alpha of Redmoon pack just accepted the invitation for your birthday" the Beta said .

Seems like this guy is enjoying his job recently he disrupted her thoughts twice today maybe she should cut his fingers off and shove it into his mouth as a lesson she thought.

Beverly shook nervously as she thought of ways to break the news to her dad, he would kill her. He had tried several times to get Beverly closer to the Luna so he could curry favour from her but she always shunned him now that she messed up again he will surely kill her .' what was she going to do 'I told you to stop looking for his trouble he is not our mate' Camilla Beverly's wolf told her 'shush i am trying to think here' Beverly had a crush on Tyler but no one knows about it except Camilla her wolf and she had always tried picking on him to see maybe their mate bond could spark disregarding the fact he clearly dislikes her "got it" Beverly shouted causing heads to towards her In annoyance. 'sheesh annoying pack of wolves ' she said and rushed to her father bawling her eyes out "dad" Beverly called crying.

"what is it my princess" he asked worriedly

" dad my friends were bullying an omega in the pack house even after I warned them to stop and that was when the Luna was passing by and she reprimanded me instead and told me to report myself to you " Beverly lied through her teeth.

" My poor baby sorry about that, I will have a good talk with the Luna today how about that" he said stroking my hair "don't worry about it dad she is the Luna after all" Beverly said trying to feign being bullied while smiling through my tear.

How dare that little brat bully my daughter Isaac thought clenching his hands till his knuckles turned white she just got lucky to be the Luna and his daughter is with a wolf is more suitable for the position than her .

After calming Beverly down Isaac took her into her room to let her rest. He couldn't believe his baby wasted her years on that witch though he promised not to do anything ( which he lied cause he could not let anyone who bullies his daughter go Scott free) so Isaac devised a plan to humiliate the Luna and remind her of her place as a puppet....

After checking up with the tailor Evelyn sent someone to put the clothes in her room then went to her office in the pack house.

Well since there was no Alpha she handled everything on her own coupling with the fact no wolf means no mind link it resulted to double paper works.

Evelyn was swayed her chair side to side with her elbow on the table while massaging her head and her pen in her mouth with the other hand as she studied the complaint of the pack members then all of a sudden.

Isaac stepped into Evelyn office ,anytime the guy isn't bootlicking he was there to look for trouble and guessing what his daughter must have told him Evelyn guessed it was the latter he came for " I tried to mind link you severally Luna but it seems you are busy oh I forgot you don't have a wolf" Isaac said with a smirk

Evelyn saw through his plan to start murmuring within pack members 'tch old trick ' Evelyn thought

" sorry for bothering you to come look for me but still this is the pack house not yours so think before yelling and remember this is the Luna office so knock before entering they are rules you know " Evelyn said slamming her pen to the table .

Evelyn smirked a little when she noticed him gulp seems he was shaken " state your reason for disturbing the pack's peace" Evelyn said irritatedly.

Evelyn could already hear some of the pack members mumbling at Isaac for behaving that way which she was sure Isaac heard too because he had started fidgeting but as he remembered something Isaac raised his head with all righteousness " your Luna here is unjust " Isaac said said addressing the pack members that gathered outside to watch the commotion "unjust.... Old man did you hit your head on the way here" someone from the crowd said causing an uproar which made Isaac flush with anger.

Evelyn just sat on her chair watching with keen eyes she wanted to know how loyal the pack was to her so she decided to stay mute .

" well no I didn't hit my head .... I see she has used her charms on you so maybe it is you hit your head to support a bitch like her " Isaac retorted in anger.

Gasps filled the room while I raised my eyebrow in response "dad what are you doing " Evelyn heard Beverly's voice.

" Thank goodness you came on time so you could hear your father reprimands concerning me" Evelyn told Beverly with a murderous glint flashing eyes " don't you look at my daughter that way .... See what am saying your Luna is unjust ... Am clearly the one making trouble and she is targeting my daughter ". Isaac shouted Maniacally.

" Beverly dear don't need to be scared dad would get justice for you and if the pack finds out about her bullying you when she is against the bullying of Omegas they would be filled with distrust and chase her out then you could become the new Luna of the pack " Isaac said through his mind link to Beverly and she smirked, guess he knows what he is doing " well you see this Luna of yours bullied my daughter even after she's against bullying herself " Isaac said to the pack members.

"yes what father said is true she also threatened me not to tell anybody" Beverly said trying to sound grieved as possible while avoiding the piercing gaze of Evelyn with little sobs in between.

Beverly smiled inwardly as I heard pack members curse at her in hushed voices.

The shameless father and daughter thinking Evelyn was a fool when she had actually saw them mind linking each other just now, as she was about to respond someone squeezed himself out from the crowd "Luna may I speak " Evelyn turned to see the cutie she had helped earlier .

" yes you may giving him the permission to talk "my name is Tyler Wart and the Luna saved me from being bullied by Beverly while she was passing the pack lounge this morning " he said with a cold gaze on Beverly 'hmph guess he is not as spineless as you thought' a voice said in my head " you are clearly lying since you are an omega who knows if she paid you to say this or threatened you since you can't fight back" Isaac said once again " I..." Tyler tried saying but Evelyn raised her hand as a signal to stop it is time to teach this bafoons not to mess with her

" Jake " Evelyn called, Jake was the pack commander and has stayed with Evelyn for years .

He and his mate(her nanny) were like parents to to Evelyn after her parents dismissal " please could you get me the footage of this morning in the pack house lounge " Evelyn said coldly.

" yes Luna " Jake replied bowing down before exiting the place .

" While we wait, let's discuss your punishment shall we" Evelyn said with a mischievous smile on her face.

" For disturbing the pack house peace and showing no regard to your Luna you shall be kept in the dungeons for five days bound by silver and injected with wolfsbane" Evelyn said to Isaac "and as for you"she continued turning to Beverly "you're taking up Tyler's duty for a week " .

"so Tyler you are officially on a leave" Evelyn said to him smiling sweetly.

'Oh shoot I forgot about the CCTV footage dad would find out I lied and we will also get punished' Beverly shuddered in fear as she stated the punishment.

She has never done any hard work in her entire life and yet Evelyn wants her to replace an omega.

"You don't have the proof yet so don't get cocky, besides CCTV footage could be tampered with" Isaac said.

' your old man don't seems to know his place does he ' Camilla said mockingly ' shut up' Beverly answered aggressively.

" Fine I would take your word for it but if I bring witnesses out, your punishments increases how about that" Evelyn said majestically standing up from her chair ' dad don't ' Beverly said through her mind link to Isaac.

" don't you try and dare intimidate us missus because you want to hide the truth" Isaac said.

"oh really should I really show you what intimidation means " Evelyn said stepping closer to Isaac but she was interrupted by Jake who came in with a laptop " here" he said.

" Thanks Jake" Evelyn said collecting the laptop and she connected it to the large screen on the wall so everyone can see it and everything from this morning played, Beverly had never felt so embarrassed in her whole life 'such a bitch and she boldly claimed to be bullied, she almost had me there though'

'. And her father is the worst they truly deserve the punishment meted to them' ' and our Luna is so kind she gave a warning first but she refused to listen now look at the result '

' the omega too is quite brave even though after the punishments he still stood up for our Luna when we were doubting her'

' yes I heard he was the pack weakest' Beverly felt all the criticism was too much

forgetting what they had originally planned to do to Evelyn.

"Take them away " the Evelyn commanded 'oh now she is your Luna ' Camilla said sarcastically " sorry I was immature please forgive us " Beverly said throwing herself to the ground crying pityfully.

"yes yes Beverly is a child you are meant to treat her with care don't forget she is like a sister to you so please overlook her mistakes" Isaac quickly butted in though Beverly hate being addressed as Evelyn's sister but desperate situations demands desperate actions.

" Children too get punished for misdeeds now am tired of listening to your nonsense, am starting to have a headache guards drag them away every one dismissed except you Tyler" Evelyn said exuding an aura that made everyone obey her immediately.

Beverly couldn't believe that Evelyn called Tyler and tried to wiggle out of the guards hand to run back but it was of no use.

"Why did you do that you would be the target of everyone " Evelyn said sternly .

His actions proved he had some guts in him but it was a dangerous act.

" I was restless and guilty with the way they were accusing you because it was kinda my fault so I did that am sorry" Tyler said with his head lowered.

'okay he is back to being spineless ' Evelyn thought.

" I am the Luna, nobody could hurt me except if I wanted it to happen but you are a nobody no offense though, they could trample on you as they like. Anyways as Compensation you are invited to the pack house whenever you want a room will be provided for you and $10000 USD thanks that meant a lot really " Evelyn said with a soft smile.

" Thank you Luna but I think it is too much " Tyler said hurriedly.

" Well it is nothing for me thank you you're dismissed and don't think of rejecting it because I will be cross with you" Evelyn said sternly.

" Thank you once again Luna " Tyler said leaving after he closed the door a soft smile settled on my face

Tyler could not believe the Luna gave him such a huge reward in return for standing up for her.

On a normal note omegas are not allowed to live in the pack house 'you know if I haven't taken control over you, you won't be able to do that now and you won't even be able to hold the reward ' Ralph said ' I know I also thank you for making it possible to meet the Luna ' Tyler told him.

'yeah yeah anything for you, But I still don't know why I got paired with a loser like you am sure I am meant to be a strong Alpha ' Ralph nagged on while Tyler was in his day dream so he ended up blocking him the wolf don't know when to stop.

Tyler went back to his lonely house with a sigh , he was a rogue the previous Luna picked up while going for a hunt when he was still a baby and took him into the pack house, he was raised in the pack nursery but she came to visit time to time.

Tyler only saw Evelyn once when she was passing the nursery apparently she was homeschooled and since then he had a crush on her she was just so cute everything changed on Tyler's 14th birthday when He changed into his wolf Ralph, everyone saw that even with a wolf he was still a weakling because I was sickly child from day one so, he was pretty much annoying to them and there and then they concluded that he was an omega and kicked me out of the pack house since the Luna was dead and the present one didn't know him.

Tyler was pretty much stranded because no one could stop them, He could remember nights he would go hungry and had to do menial jobs from the age of 14. At times he would eat from the trash just to go with a full belly to sleep it was then his hatred wolves rose up to the extent he hated shifting into Ralph at times he couldn't imagine how one can be cruel against their own kind.

It was when the Luna grew up she changed things she invited omegas to work at the pack house with money payments and food to take home, it was during this period Tyler was able to save to rent a house the Luna was Godsent to us she even established a no bully policy though some people tried oppress her so, she proved her sovereignty and kicked their assess at a young age, which made Tyler admire her because of her perseverance.

Later on, Tyler was 15 when Evelyn turned 14 but didn't shift into a wolf.

It caused a serious uproar in the pack causing disagreement but it was later suppressed year has past now and she would be turning 18 soon folks hoped that she would turn this year while some people has started forming resistance groups.. Over the years Tyler has witnessed her train hard just so she could be strong without a wolf but the pack members only sees the worst in one, yes she was feared by other pack but not by her own as they say one can't stand out within his or her origins

" what do you think about him Jake " Evelyn said to Jake who was hiding in the shadows " he has some potential but his human body is weak while his wolf is strong am suspecting it was his wolf that took control over him just now " Jake replied.

" Then I will have to worry you with training him later on, maybe after my wolf comes to existence " Evelyn said with a smug smile on her face .

" While wait till your wolf turns up " Jake asked curiously.

"well if my guess is right then he might be my mate " Evelyn said.

" what are you saying Eve, am sure you are fated to be with an Alpha of an outstanding pack " Jake said hurriedly.

" no need to worry you said it yourself that his wolf was strong but his human body was weak am sure after few training he will be a top notch Alpha " Evelyn said turning her chair to see the dreadful look on Jake face.

" am kidding I just wanted to see your reaction which is hilarious by the way" Evelyn said laughing Jake just sighed before flicking Her fore head.

" naughty girl, I thought I trained you well enough " he said .

" ouch" Evelyn said pouting.

" you dare to hurt your Luna do you " Evelyn said forming a serious face.

" oh sorry it was a mistake " Jake said faking an apologetic face which he didn't do well and caused to break her serious face and burst out laughing.

" besides I hope to get mated to the Red Moon Alpha son I heard he is worth drooling for " Evelyn told Jake .

" I believe the moon goddess will give a man worth your status " Jake replied .

" okay" I said .

Evelyn looked at Jake with a happy face the man had been there with her even when everyone turned their backs at her.

His advice which he had given to her all through was worth it and has helped the pack growth tremendously although refuse to accept it the think it is because of the Beta and Gamma not knowing it was their was their pack warrior giving them the good life they have now the Beta and Gamma are too self centered for their own good.

Three months later

It was time for Evelyn's coming of age ceremony today and she has been preparing since morning, it may not seem as much but she was eager to have her wolf after much wait.

Evelyn entered into the ball where the party was held and could hear hushed whispers as she entered because of today special event,

Evelyn had decided to let her hair down with curls at the end, everyone was shocked at her appearance because they are used to seeing Evelyn in her working appearance only, and has never seen her hair down.

Evelyn walked gracefully down the aisle to take her seat, while she sat down her eyes scanned the ballroom looking at all the Alphas' and everyone that graced the occasion .

They were all good looking ', but not as good looking as Tyler ' a voice from Evelyn head popped up with her guessing it was her wolf .

Evelyn was excited for tonight she just need to wait for moonlight to see her wolf although it is a pity that her pretty dress would be ruined.

" Luna take this it would help boost your courage " Jake offered her some wine although it smelled funny Evelyn still took it and drank after dropping the glass down she could have sworn she saw a relieved look on his face but it was only for a second so Evelyn didn't think much about it .

"okay I will excuse you then " he said walking away hurriedly Evelyn scrunched her eyebrows at Jake weird behaviour.

Evelyn turned to look at the voice calling her,

slightly frustrated she turned to see a guy with slight resemblance to Tyler especially the brown eyes.

" hey am Kelvin the son of the Alpha of Red Moon pack " Kelvin said with thick British accent " am Evelyn the Luna of Moon Stone Pack and my are you gorgeous as they say" Evelyn said imitating his accent which caused him to giggle lightly.

" you don't seem like the most feared Luna they talk about " Kelvin said smirking " well then I would advice you not to get me crossed at you " Evelyn replied smirking too.

" Luna would you like some wine " Evelyn heard another voice say behind her as she turned around to reject, she saw Tyler the guy she had been thinking about with his alluring brown eyes staring at her " am sorry but I have drank one already I don't want to get drunk, hey you know what instead of serving give It to another waiter and stay here with me " Evelyn told him.

Evelyn didn't know why but it pinched her heart seeing him serve drinks, she turned back to see Kelvin staring at Tyler intensively and she subconsciously blocked him from his view like a mother hen protecting her chicks.

With a dreadful look on her face that shouts back off " hey tigress cool down a bit am just surprised you asked an omega to join us " Kelvin said exasperatedly " non of your business" Evelyn replied him while sneering

" okay okay enough with being feisty " Kelvin said with his hands raised up.

"Luna what is going on here " Beverly came panting which shows she ran over here well that was the least of Evelyn's concern as Beverly was looking at Tyler in a way she did n't like and Evelyn was about to hit her when she felt Tyler hold her back " it is nothing don't ruin your ball or image because of an omega " Tyler said softly that no one could hear, hearing his voice calmed her down a lot and all the anger dissipated she wondered what was wrong with her.

Soon it was time for Evelyn to step into the moonlight, she couldn't wait to finally turn into her wolf form. Evelyn thought as she entered the moonlight slowly but all of a sudden everything turned black.
