The Kingdom of Clanel stood as a testament to power and prestige. Tall, imposing walls encircled a city of grandeur where the strongest werewolves thrived under the rule of Alpha King Drake Emerald. His strength and dominance in battle were legendary, and his two sons, Marky and Judas, were expected to follow in his formidable footsteps. But on a stormy night, the cries of a newborn shattered the king's pride.
In the grand castle, King Drake glared at the frail infant cradled in the nursemaid's arms. "This is a disgrace," he growled, turning to his loyal knight, Popoy. "This weakling will tarnish our family's honor. Take him to the Forest of Shadows and feed him to the monsters."
Popoy's heart ached at the command, but he nodded, knowing he had no choice. He wrapped the tiny, crying child in a blanket and left the castle, his heart heavy with sorrow.
As Popoy journeyed towards the forest, the cries of the baby grew louder, piercing the knight's heart with each wail. He paused at the edge of the forest, the shadows looming ominously before him. He looked down at the helpless infant and saw not the son of a king, but a vulnerable soul, much like his own lost son, Jake.
"Enough!" Popoy shouted, his voice trembling. "Stop crying, or else I will kill you!"
To his surprise, the baby quieted, as if understanding his words. Popoy's resolve crumbled. He couldn't do it. He couldn't kill an innocent child. He made a decision that would change the course of his life and the fate of the kingdoms.
Popoy turned away from the forest and began his journey towards the kingdom of Klympog. As he walked, his mind raced with uncertainty and fear. Would he be able to keep the child safe? Could he raise him without the king's wrath finding them?
Upon reaching Klympog, Popoy found a remote village where he could hide. He considered abandoning the child but couldn't bring himself to do it. He decided to raise the boy as his own, naming him Jake in honor of his son who was murdered by rogue werewolves two years ago. Popoy resigned from his position as a knight and settled into a quiet life, teaching Jake everything he knew about survival and combat.
Eight years passed, and Jake grew into a strong and kind-hearted boy. Under Popoy's guidance, he learned the basics of swordsmanship, combat tactics, and the values of honor and resilience. Popoy was proud of the boy Jake was becoming, but he knew the day would come when he had to tell him the truth.
One evening, as they sat by the fire in their modest home, Popoy took a deep breath. "Jake, there's something important I need to tell you."
Jake looked up from sharpening his practice sword, his eyes curious. "What is it, Father?"
"You are not my biological son," Popoy began, his voice heavy with emotion. "You are Joseph, the youngest son of King Drake of Clanel. He ordered me to kill you because you were born weak."
Jake's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why would he do that?"
"King Drake is a proud and powerful man. He believed a weak son would disgrace our family. But I saw potential in you. I couldn't let you die."
Jake struggled to process the revelation. "So, I'm a prince?"
"Yes," Popoy confirmed. "But it's dangerous for you to be known as such. King Drake has powerful enemies, and if he finds out you're alive..."
Their conversation was interrupted by the distant sound of howling. Popoy's face grew tense. "Stay inside, Jake. I need to check something."
Jake watched as Popoy stepped out, his heart pounding. He knew something was wrong. Minutes later, Popoy returned, his expression grave. "We need to leave, now."
"Why? What's happening?" Jake asked, fear creeping into his voice.
"King Drake's men are here. They've found us," Popoy replied, grabbing a few essential items. "We don't have much time."
As they prepared to flee, a group of villagers approached their home, torches in hand. One of them, a burly man named Alden, stepped forward. "Popoy, we know who you are. You've brought danger to our village."
Popoy stood tall, shielding Jake. "I've only ever wanted to protect this boy and this village."
Alden's face twisted in anger. "You've hidden the son of a demon! Because of you, our families are at risk. We've lost loved ones because of the war your presence has brought."
Jake felt a pang of guilt and fear. "It's not true! I'm not a demon!"
"Enough!" Alden shouted. "We've decided. You both must leave, or we will force you out."
Popoy's eyes filled with sorrow. "Please, let us go in peace. We mean no harm."
The villagers reluctantly stepped aside, allowing Popoy and Jake to pass. As they made their way towards the forest, the villagers began to set fire to their home. Jake glanced back, tears in his eyes.
"Don't look back, Jake," Popoy said firmly. "We must keep moving."
They fled into the Forest of Shadows, the darkness swallowing them. Popoy guided Jake through the treacherous terrain, his heart heavy with the knowledge of what they were leaving behind.
As they ventured deeper into the forest, Jake spoke up. "Father, what do we do now?"
Popoy's face was etched with determination. "We survive, Jake. We survive and we prepare. One day, you will return to Clanel and claim your rightful place."
Years passed in the Forest of Shadows, and Jake adapted to the harsh environment. He learned to hunt, to fight, and to survive among the monsters that lurked in the darkness. Popoy continued to train him, pushing him to his limits.
On Jake's eighteenth birthday, Popoy led him to a hidden shrine deep within the forest. "Today, you will be baptized and receive the blessings of the seven werewolf gods. This will grant you the power and protection you need."
Jake knelt before the shrine, feeling a surge of energy as he was baptized. The power of the gods flowed through him, enhancing his strength, speed, and senses. He felt invincible.
As they returned to their makeshift home, Popoy spoke with a sense of urgency. "Jake, you must be careful with your power. Use it wisely, and never let anger consume you."
Jake nodded, determination in his eyes. "I understand, Father. I will honor your teachings."
But their peace was short-lived. One night, as they sat by the fire, they were ambushed by a group of assassins sent by King Drake. Popoy fought valiantly, but he was outnumbered. The six assassins moved with deadly precision, using stealth techniques to stay hidden in the shadows.
Popoy parried the first attack, his sword clashing against the blade of an assassin. "Jake, stay back!" he yelled, his voice filled with urgency.
Jake watched in horror as Popoy engaged in a fierce battle. The assassins were relentless, striking from all directions. Popoy managed to fend off several blows, but he was quickly overwhelmed by their sheer numbers.
One assassin lunged at Popoy with a dagger, and Popoy blocked the attack with his arm, blood pouring from the wound. Another assassin slashed at his leg, and Popoy stumbled, his strength waning. Despite his injuries, he fought on, driven by his determination to protect Jake.
"Father, no!" Jake cried out; his voice filled with desperation.
Popoy turned to Jake, his face pale and strained. "Run, Jake! You have to survive!"
But it was too late. The assassins closed in, and with a final, brutal strike, they brought Popoy to his knees. Bloodied and battered, Popoy looked up at Jake, his eyes filled with sorrow and love. "Remember what I've taught you. Be strong. I love you, my son."
Jake's heart shattered as he watched the life drain from Popoy's eyes. A wave of grief and rage consumed him, and he felt a surge of power unlike anything he had ever experienced. Flames erupted from his body, surrounding him in a fiery aura. The ground beneath him melted like lava, and the air crackled with heat.
The assassins stepped back, fear flashing in their eyes. "What is this?" one of them muttered, his voice trembling.
Jake's eyes blazed with fury as he raised his hand, fire pistols forming at his fingertips. "You killed my father," he growled, his voice filled with venom. "Now you'll pay."
In an instant, Jake unleashed his power, shooting streams of molten fire at the assassins. One by one, they fell, their bodies exploding like balloons as the fire consumed them. The last assassin tried to flee, but Jake's fire caught him, reducing him to ash.
Jake stood amidst the destruction, his body trembling with rage and sorrow. The flames around him flickered and died down, leaving behind scorched earth and charred remains. He collapsed to his knees beside Popoy's lifeless body, tears streaming down his face.
"Father, I'm so sorry," Jake whispered, his voice breaking. "I'll avenge you. I'll bring justice to Clanel. I promise."
Jake's howl of agony echoed through the forest, a vow of vengeance that would drive him forward. He would confront King Drake, reclaim his rightful place, and destroy anyone who stood in his way.
With a heavy heart, Jake rose to his feet, wiping away his tears. He knew that staying in the forest was no longer an option. His enemies would continue to hunt him, and he needed to be proactive. He had to gather his strength and prepare for the inevitable confrontation with King Drake and his brothers.
After the bloody and terrifying scene in the Forest of Death, Jake decided to go to the center of the town of Klympog. He buried his father in an old hidden church in the forest, once used by their werewolf ancestors.
"Father, I want to bring justice to your death, but I don't know how to live without you," Jake whispered as he placed flowers on the grave. "The Emerald family will pay for what they did to us. I swear, until my last breath! They took a life, so a life I shall claim in return!"
Those words awakened the hidden emotions in Jake. Popoy gave him a new life and hope and raised him. But why, when they were finally happy, did he have to disappear? As Jake turned away, the sorrow was evident in his eyes, a sorrow that brought him anguish, longing, and most of all, vengeance that consumed his heart and mind.
As he walked away from the old church, tears slowly fell from his eyes. This was the place where he honed his hidden talents, where he first learned to be brave, and where he felt deep pain.
As he made his way through the Forest of Death, he heard a strange sound coming from a corner, as if someone needed help. "You wretched harlot! Die now!" a loud curse from a trader who suddenly threw a young werewolf girl into the middle of the forest.
"Please have mercy, I don't want to die here, please I'll do anything for you, just don't leave me here," the young werewolf girl pleaded with her cruel master.
"You bring bad luck to my life, so the only solution is for you to be bait for the monsters chasing us!" the cruel master replied.
When the master heard the sound of the wild beasts chasing them, he whipped the horse to make the carriage run. The young werewolf girl was left in the middle of the dangerous forest. She was surrounded by six orcs drooling and with menacing eyes. She knew this was the sign of her impending death.
"Boss, a type of werewolf from the tribe known as the tribe of harlot werewolves," said one orc, laughing with his fangs showing.
When the orc leader heard this, he stopped and said, "Lucky! It's been a long time since I had sex, and this is the first time I'll taste a woman from the tribe of harlot werewolves." The leader laughed demonically.
"Please, have mercy on me," the girl pleaded with the monsters. She was only wearing thin clothes, revealing her hidden assets, her womanhood. Her large breasts were lusted after by the monsters, and their stares were sticky and intense.
"Hey werewolf girl, you're lucky because our leader chose you. Your companions left you because you're useless, so you're lucky we found you first! So be quiet!" shouted one orc.
"You'll surely enjoy this, boss. Leave the rest to us after you're done. We also want to taste that werewolf," said another orc, clapping his hands in excitement.
The orc leader slowly approached and surrounded the young werewolf girl. He grabbed her hair, and she tried to fight back, but she was weak. "Bang!" The leader slapped the girl, and she flew to the ground. The monsters laughed at her.
She weakened from the punch and slap, bleeding on the grass. As the leader approached, ready to strip her, everyone was suddenly shocked. "Bang!" A loud sound disturbed the group of monsters. A hot liquid flowed from the leader's forehead, blood slowly trickling down and then gushing out.
"Bang! Wind Cutter!" a powerful wind spell suddenly decapitated the leader. Everyone was startled and saw Jake with fierce eyes staring at them.
"What happened! Who are you?" the leader's companions asked, visibly frightened. Their leader was the strongest among them, and if Jake easily killed him, they knew they would be easily killed too.
The girl struggled to open her eyes and saw Jake's face, ready to save her life. "Thank you," were the last words she uttered before losing consciousness.
"Who are you!" a terrified orc asked.
"None of your business!" Jake replied and suddenly charged at them. He killed the remaining monsters one by one. With a few moves, the monsters fell to the ground.
"Miss, are you okay?" Jake asked the girl. He used his healing power. "Heal!" a rare spell he cast. Apart from being given power by the seven werewolf divine gods, Jake could do things beyond the abilities of ordinary werewolves.
He waited for the werewolf girl to wake up. When she did, he handed her a potion. "Thank you," the girl replied softly.
"Let's change the topic, miss. What are you doing in this dangerous forest?" Jake asked.
"Ahm, sir," the girl hesitated. "I'm just an ordinary werewolf from the harlot werewolf tribe. Since the cruel hunters discovered our hidden villages on the borders of the Forest of Death, we were captured, and almost all our people were mercilessly killed. Children, the elderly, and pregnant women were slain. Worse, we young werewolf girls were captured to be slaves in the towns of Klympog and Clanel. Since we were captured, my cruel master threw me into the middle of the Forest of Death to be bait for the monsters chasing us so they could escape," the girl tearfully told Jake.
Jake was moved by her story and experience. He felt the pain she was enduring.
"What's your name, miss?" Jake asked.
"Lily. That's the name my parents gave me. And you, sir?" Lily replied.
"Jake," he answered.
Now that they knew each other, Jake decided to ask Lily if she wanted to join him on his journey. She agreed, and that day they left the dangerous forest.
Five Days of Travel
During their journey to the borders of the Forest of Death, they faced many dangers and monsters that Jake had to battle.
Day 1
"Lily, let's rest here. We still have a long way to go," Jake said as they sat on a large rock.
"Thank you, Jake. I don't know if I could survive without you," Lily replied.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm with you, I won't let anything happen to you," Jake promised.
Day 2
"Psst, Jake. Do you hear that?" Lily asked as they walked.
"Yes, Lily. There's a monster approaching. Get ready," Jake replied as he adjusted his weapon.
Suddenly, a large snakes appeared in front of them. "Stay back, Lily!" Jake ordered.
"Bang! Wind Cutter!" Jake's spell struck the monster down.
"Wow, Jake. You're amazing," Lily said, impressed by Jake's abilities.
Day 3
"Jake, why did you help me? You don't even know me," Lily asked while they camped by a river.
"Because no werewolf parent would leave a young one in danger. And I think you have an important role in my mission," Jake replied while preparing a fire.
"Thank you so much, Jake. I owe you my life," Lily said.
Day 4
"Jake, I hear footsteps," Lily said as they walked on a narrow path.
"Goblins! Get ready, Lily," Jake replied.
Five goblins suddenly appeared around them. "Wind Blast!" a powerful wind blew the goblins away.
"Jake, you're incredible. How did you learn those spells?" Lily asked.
"I was blessed by the gods of werewolves. Only a few in our race have such power," Jake replied.
Day 5
"Jake, are we near the border of the Forest of Death?" Lily asked as they walked through a vast plain.
"Yes, Lily. We're almost there," Jake replied.
A large giant one-eyed monster suddenly appeared before them. "This is our final test, Lily. Get ready," Jake said.
"Wind Strike!" a powerful spell hit the monster, but it didn't fall.
"Jake, can you handle it?" Lily asked, worried.
"I can handle this, Lily. Don't worry," Jake replied as he gathered more energy.
"Wind Tornado!" a powerful tornado enveloped the monster, and it fell to the ground, dead.
"We're safe now, Lily. We've reached the border," Jake said as they stood in front of a large stone marking the border of the Forest of Death.
"Thank you, Jake. I owe you my life," Lily said, tears of joy in her eyes.
"From now on, you won't be alone, Lily. We'll face the challenges together," Jake replied, holding Lily's hand.
During the five-day journey, Jake and Lily learned the value of trust and friendship. Their bond strengthened with each battle and trial they faced, and with each monster they overcame. Finally, they reached the border of the Forest of Death, ready for the next challenges they would face together.
As Jake and Lily emerged from the Forest of Death, they passed by a village that was familiar to Jake. As they walked, Jake noticed a place and realized that this was his old village, where he grew up and was first rejected. This village was like a ghost from the past, now a ghost village. He was utterly surprised because ten years had passed since he left this village, and now it seemed deserted-no living soul inhabited this place. The houses were dilapidated, as if a war had ravaged them, and almost all were covered with tree roots.
"Jake," Lily asked as she stared into his sad eyes, "what is this place?"
"This was our home," Jake replied. "I remember this village where my father and I lived. But because of a traitor greedy for power, my father died." Each word Jake spoke was filled with vengeance. Lily felt this as she had experienced similar scenes.
Lily held his hands and showed deep sympathy for Jake. Jake offered flowers before leaving the village and prayed for the souls of the departed. Almost all the werewolves here perished during the war. Despite his anger at his former village, Jake chose to pray and forgive it. As he prayed, the place suddenly lit up like fireflies, and all the spirits lying there appeared. The former werewolves of the village rejoiced and thanked Jake, as their souls could finally rest in peace.
Jake, a disciple of the seven werewolf divine gods, needed to pray daily for his faith. Tears flowed from Jake's eyes as he saw the smiling souls in the sky. The village he once cursed was now forgiven. They left the place and journeyed towards the center of the kingdom of Klympog.
They arrived at the center of Klympog, known as Abes Kidam. They stopped at the main gate guarded by soldiers. Before entering, they had to undergo thorough inspection.
"Where are your identifications? Please show them," asked a guard, who was muscular, tall, and aged.
"Sir, we are travelers and have no identifications to show because we came from a distant place. During our journey, we encountered various monsters, and all our belongings were lost," Jake calmly replied.
The guard raised his eyebrow and immediately took out a magical crystal. "Place your hands on the magical crystal," the guard instructed. This crystal was used to detect if someone had committed a crime.
They placed their hands on it, and thankfully, they were clean and had no criminal records. The guard handed them a paper to write their names and then told them, "Use this card for your temporary identification and do not lose it. If you lose it, you will be fined, and if you cannot pay, we will arrest you for violating our law."
They took their temporary access and headed to the town center. They were amazed at what they saw. The town center was full of beautiful buildings and houses, each depicting the history and wealth of Klympog. There were large markets, jewelry shops, and restaurants filled with people.
"This is the first time I've seen the town center in my life," Jake said, with a mix of awe and joy.
"This place is so beautiful, Jake. It feels like another world," Lily said, unable to contain her amazement.
As they walked, they noticed a large plaza with singers, dancers, and vendors selling various goods. The people were cheerful and seemed carefree. In the middle of the plaza was a large fountain with a statue of a werewolf warrior standing guard.
"Come on, Lily. Let's eat first. We need to regain our strength for our next journey," Jake said.
"Yes, Jake. I'm hungry too. I hope there's delicious food here," Lily replied as they looked for a place to eat.
They entered a small restaurant filled with different kinds of food. They ordered dishes and started eating.
"Jake, what's your plan after this?" Lily asked while eating.
"I need to gather information about the Emerald family. They are responsible for my father's death, and I need to avenge him," Jake replied with determination.
"Jake, I know what you've been through is hard, but I hope I can help you with your mission. I won't leave you," Lily said with a mix of concern and support.
"Thank you, Lily. You will be a great help to me. You're with me in this fight," Jake replied, squeezing Lily's hand.
After eating, they decided to walk around the plaza and gather information. They found an old bookstore and went inside to ask.
"Good day. Do you have any books about the history of Klympog and the ruling families here?" Jake asked the shopkeeper.
"Yes, we do. In the back section, you will find the history section," the shopkeeper replied.
Jake and Lily searched for books and started reading. They found information about the Emerald family and their misdeeds in the town.
"Jake, look at this. The Emerald family is known for being abusive and greedy for power. They have used their influence for personal gain many times," Lily said while reading a book.
"No wonder they did that to my father. I need to end their reign," Jake replied, full of anger.
After learning about the history and misdeeds of the Emerald family, Jake and Lily decided to prepare themselves for the upcoming battle. Jake knew that seeking revenge would not be easy, but he was determined to bring justice to his father's death.
"Jake, how are we going to face the Emerald family? They have many followers and strong influence," Lily asked as they talked in their room at a small inn.
"We need information. We have to find out their weaknesses and how we can infiltrate their territory. I know there are people in town who are also angry at them. We need to reach out to them," Jake replied, filled with determination.
"I know someone who can help us. A former soldier who fought alongside my father. His name is Lucas. I'm sure he'll help us," Jake added.
