The Lone Omega

slipping out the car, River could still remember vividly how horrifying, the night his parent were killed was.

FLASHBACK (7 YEARS AGO)

(10:49 p.m NIGHT OF FULL MOON)

panting is heard as young River and his parents (Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland), endlessly run deeper into the woods, as hefty men with different weapons chase after them.

River stops suddenly as his body began itching him.

"Mom!, what's happening to me?" young river asked, wincing in pain cause his skin was burning

"it's full moon sweetheart...."Mrs. Sutherland replied crouching to River's height while Mr. Sutherland continuously look around at alert

"and how is today being full moon supposed to answer my question" the little boy half-yelled

"Lena does something" came will's hoarse voice.

"mom why are those men after us? who are they?" River asked again.

"here" Lena began as she unfolds an old book from its wrap "this will answer your question, and your pendant...keep it safe...do not let anyone see it...now follow that way" she pointed north "keep running and don't look back...remember mommy and daddy will always love you....."

"how about you and daddy?..." River asked

"don't worry about us, we are right behind you...remember...DO NOT LOOK BACK....."Lena voice trails off as River took to his heels and does not look back like his mother had instructed.

Charlie snaps her fingers in the 'lost in thought' River's face

"I'm off to my class" she informs and River nodded

standing on her toes, she plants a kiss on his forehead

"take care" she said

A small smile crept into lips face as he watched his nerdy foster sister scurry childishly to her class.

"How can someone wicked be this cute"

"can the girls fucking keep their mouth shut" yunno which species said that?

"I pray the new student doesn't get on his nerve...cuz I'm fucking tired of mourning"

the murmurs from the students fill the class as River walks in.

River halts at the front of his seat as he innocently stares at Mikael, the new student, who fully has the idea he was sitting on someone's seat cuz he really wanna know why students are scared of some piece o' shit........

okay, I'm confused...why would someone have a death wish

"hey newbie! that's his seat you find another" Aston calls from behind

"is it? he should say that himself...and stop staring at me like a dumbo" Mikael replied making

everyone gasp and gasp again as they notice river hair changes to red

"fuck man, you've got a science shit in your hair.........and is that supposed to scare me"Mikael blurted

"Nah it's not"River chuckles leaving the whole class dumbfounded

"what's he up to?"

"is River alright?"

"is he scared of the newbie?"

"I bet he is"

"you see, nothing to be scared of, his mama did fuckin' well teaching him manners," Mikael says, and that does it River's hair turns black.

The next minute, Mikael found himself placed roughly on the wall, his legs dangling in the air as he struggled from River's hold on his neck.

" fuck-ing l-et go .....of me,get y-o-ur go-dda-mn h-and o--ff me" he chokes on his words

who the hell alters profanities when he's about to die?

mikael owen..the new principal's son" Mikael answered

"learn some language, young man, will ya?"The river speaks for the first time.

"son of a bitch"Mikael spat making River tighten his hold

no one dare call his late mother a bitch

"damn....love guys with nerves" River mutters and smirks evilly.

"Let go of me you fool. You won't wanna be kicked out of this school, do you? Cause I can make that happen if that's what you want" Mikael blabbed.

"Shut up!!!" Aston yelled from behind. "Do you wanna get yourself killed?"

"We need to save him or else River is gonna kill him".

"Why are you all standing there and doing nothing? Another boy spoke out. Fear was visibly written in his voice.

"Someone should call Charlie, she's the only one who can stop him from strangling him to death" Elena added.

Mark quickly rushed out to look for Charlie. He knows fully well that it would be hard to persuade Charlie to come with him but he's gonna try.

Charlie specifically knows River doesn't react except someone steps on his tail.

He barged into her class before realizing there was a teacher in her class.

"Young man, what are you doing here?" Miss Anna shouted. But Mark wasn't moved to know fully well that she loves shouting.

"Charlie you need to come with me. The river is gonna kill someone if you don't come right now" he rushed his words.

"What are you talking about?" She asked cluelessly.

"Just come with me right now" he gripped her hand and dragged her away.

Miss Anna couldn't say anything cause she knows what that actually means. She had once tried stopping Charlie from going and the kid who got into a fight with River almost lost his life and she was blamed for that.

"When will all this end?" That was the only thing she said.

Charlie got the spot where River was. She placed her hand on his shoulder. It's not like she wasn't scared but she knows River won't hurt her like he's about to do to the boy.

"River...." She took a deep breath and continued.

"Stop what you're doing. You're gonna kill him if you don't stop and you know mom won't like that" she stopped thinking of what to say next.

"And we're gonna be sent away from school. Do you want that for us?"

He slowly let go of the boy who fell flat on the floor gasping for air.

Mark quickly ran forward and supported the boy back to another seat.

"Next time you're gonna listen whenever you told me not to do something. If Charlie wasn't here on time you would have been a dead body by now" Mark said as he handed him a bottle of water.

Mikael quickly collected it and gulped down every content.

"Thanks" he muttered.

River turned towards his direction making him quiver back in fear.

"Don't get him angry next time cause I won't come here to save anyone's a**" she said and walked out and no one dares to say anything about her.

As soon as the bell rang, they all left their class to the school canteen for a break.

"Why would she talk to us like that?"

"I would have dealt with her if River wasn't her brother" another girl chirped in.

"I think I have a plan" Their gang leader Monalisa added.

"What is the plan?" Nora asked.

"Why should waylay and beat her" she whispered but seems no one was ready as they all turned their face in another direction.

"Why are you all acting weird? There's nothing hard besides we are gonna cover our faces so she won't recognize us" she added.

"That's a nice plan" Elizabeth supported.

"Then we're gonna today by 9:30 at the hall" Monalisa informed.

"In the night?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, you dummy" Elizabeth answered.

"I wonder how you got to be part of the Bee girls gang," Nora said.

They all headed to the canteen to have their breakfast before heading back to class.

But what they don't know was that someone actually heard and saw them.

School ended for that day and everyone went home. Those without cars waiting for the bus while those rich kids who came with their cars left with it. And River wasn't an exception as he has his own car.

It has been seven years, seven good years since the boy went missing.

We have searched everywhere but he was nowhere to be found.

But now I think we're gonna go out of this town if we really wanna find him.

"I also heard he has some protection" A man spoke.

"How dis you know?" The Alpha asked.

"that night after killing his parents, we ran after him but was unable to get to him. Seems like he is being protected by a force as we couldn't even kill him"

Mr. Brennan's Home

"Why are you doing this to your daughter and me?

"That thing can never be my daughter" The drunk man answered.

"Dad?" Aloha called.

"How many times am I gonna tell you that I'm not your father. I can't father a worthless thing like you" he spat angrily.

"I think I've taken enough of your rubbish cause you can't go out and come back without dropping money for food how do you expect us to survive?" She asked angrily and frustratedly.

"You can go back to your useless father, you're useless anyway. I wanted a son and not riffraff like this thing you call your daughter" he snorted.

"I thought you were my mate, you were supposed to stand by me. But no, you joined them. to make a mockery of my inability to give birth to a male child" her eyes were already welled in tears ready to run down.

"Why should I stand by you when my brother already took what's mine? Answer me. Do you expect me to be happy? I was supposed to be the Alpha, I was supposed to lead the pack and not the other way round" he barked.

Josephine was unable to say a word. She knew Brennan was correct. She was supposed to be the Luna but Derek, her husband's younger brother decided to bribe the other Alpha's in order to get the throne. Ever since then, Brennan has never been the same. She can't blame him cause she knew he's just frustrated.

Derek's Mansion

Derek was seated with another young man who was dressed in an all-black tuxedo suit.

"What do you want this time?" The man asked with his frown face.

"I just need one more favor from you" Derek replied.

"What do you me to do for you this time?"

"I need to know the whereabouts of that missing Omega"

"What do you wanna do with him?"

"I wanna end his life by myself. If I should let him leave he's gonna come for the throne just like the pack seer said and we can't let an Omega rule the pack". he answered with anger.

"And how do you need my help in this situation?"

"I need you to release your men to me. They are the only ones who can look for him".

"What are willing to give for it?"

"Anything you ask for shall be given to you as long as it's within my reach"

"I want your daughter?"

"What"

"you heard me correctly. I want your daughter"

"Can't you ask for anything else? You know I can't do that".

"Well if you can't do it then forget about asking for my help," the man said with finality.

"Okay Okay, I'm gonna give her to you as long as the boy is gonna be found".

"That's a deal and nobody backs out".

"Amanda!!!" Derek shouted.

"Yes Alpha" The Luna answered bowing slightly in front of him.

"Where is your daughter?"

"She's in her room"

"Bring her here" he commanded.

Amanda rushed in to get her daughter just as the Alpha instructed. She knows he doesn't like her questioning his order especially when he has a visitor.

"your father seeks your presence".

"What for? what does that beast wanna see me for? Isn't it enough that he slapped me in front of the maids? She barked.

"I headed downstairs walking as slowly as she can. She'd do anything just to get on his nerves.

"What do you want? She asked as soon as she got his presence.

"I won't let you speak to me I that manners so watch your mouth" he warned without sparing her a glance.

"As I care, you can kill me if you want cause I'm already tired of you. I hate the fact that you're my father" she cursed under her breath but being a werewolf the Alpha also heard her clearly.

"Watch your tongues if you don't wanna get them pulled out from your mouth" he warned.

"Why did you call me here".

"Cause I will be giving you out as a gift"

"What do you mean?"

"You're gonna be his toy from today henceforth you are his property," he said with finality but Aloha isn't taking any of it.

"That's over my dead body will I leave with this thing. And let me warn you. If you ever call me out for such rubbish......"

A slap from the Alpha shut her up.

she held her cheek in pain while glaring daggers at him.

"You dare not go against my other. I am the Alpha, I say and you obey" he pointed at her.

"Woman talk to your daughter cause I won't take any form of misconduct from her. Do you hear me?"

"I don't really blame you. I blame a mother who does everything you say like you're her god. When you're nothing but evil. Someone who took over his brother's throne doesn't deserve any respect from me" she spat on his face without fear and tried walking out when she was dragged and thrown into the stranger's car.

They threw her into the car and drove out.

"It's never gonna be well with you and this pack. It was never yours and it will never be. Give the throne back to who it rightfully belongs to. Stop your inhuman ruling and there will be peace. But I know for sure, River is gonna come back for his throne, and not even you nor your evil clans can stop that" Kira screamed as she is taken away.

Not the Luna nor anyone could do anything about it.

Amanda could only cry and wished she never met Derek.

she could recall how they met during the Mate hunt.

FLASHBACK

"you should have gotten a mate by now. you're twenty and still no mate. Do you think I would let you stay here with me for another day? Never, you know that's never gonna happen. not even in the next life" Mr. Diego queried.

"But dad I'm only twenty, there's still time for me to get a mate. It's not too late at all, just give me a little time I will find my mate mate" Amanda pleaded. But Mr. Diego wouldn't hear of that.

"I don't think I have more time to give out to you. You are leaving this house today and I don't ever wanna see you hear" Her dad threatened.

"No dad you can't chase me out of the house. It's already late. Please dad I beg of you".

"I can only let you stay on one condition"

"I'm ready to do anything you want me to do".

"You would be joining them for this season's mate hunt" he finalized.

"But dad......"

"I'm not gonna listen to you. If you don't wanna go to the mate hunt, you can leave my house this minute" he yelled and stomped out.

Her mother tried talking her dad out of it but he wouldn't listen.

Mr. Diego has always been known as the man who doesn't go back to his words. And there's nothing anyone could do about it.

Amanda had no choice but to join them.

The day she dread most finally came.

She left her home very early in the morning to join the rest for the hunt.

The ladies were to meet at the lady's chamber before heading into the forest to be hunted by the Mateless Male werewolves.

And many unlucky once would be paired to wicked wolves or drunkards and that's what Kira dreads most. She doesn't want to be paired with someone like her dad.

She got to the chamber very early only to be met with emptiness as there was no one there.

She looked for a seat and sat down, waiting for the rest to come. She prayed silently for the moon Goddess to pair her with at least a good man. Someone who would love and cherish her. But unknown to her the moon Goddess already has a plan for her.

"Hey, good morning" A girl greeted.

She looked up expecting to see someone of her age but was surprised to see a woman between the age of forty to forty-five as she looks very old.

"Hey" she answered dryly.

"What are you doing here? Are you also here for the mate hunt? The woman asked.

"I guess so" was the only thing she could say.

After a while, the chamber was filled up with different women of different ages but none was as young as her.

Amanda felt uncomfortable around them.

They looked at her with disgust as they were all older than her. While some never spoke to her, others forcefully made her do things for them.

They all made a mockery of her.

"Even if she stays till fifty she still wouldn't have gotten a mate cause she looks ugly" one had said while the rest wouldn't stop laughing at her.

"You all should stop that. What you should be thinking about is how your life is gonna be after this. What if you are paired with someone who wouldn't respect you, someone who won't love and protect? You all should be ashamed of your for making a mockery of someone who is younger than you all" she said with sadness in her voice.

The hall became quiet as they looked down thinking of what she just said.

Amanda was an exception as that has been her prayer since her dad told her about the mate hunt.

It was time for them to run into the forest. She quivered and prayed silently before joining the rest into the woods.

They all separated as they got deeper into the woods.

She hasn't gotten far into the woods when she met Derek who didn't wait for a second before dipping his fangs into her neck to claim her.

He had also wanted them to make out in the woods but Amanda wouldn't hear of it as she gave him a very hard slap.

He looked at her, his eyes already red from anger. He held her hands tightly, tearing the clothes off her body.

She wailed and scream for someone to help but luck wasn't on her side as there was no one close by.

That was the worst day of her life. Being claimed by this monster who calls himself her mate and now he wants to give his daughter out without considering her feelings.

His love for wealth and power has gotten so deep that she couldn't even defend herself from his vengeful eyes.

She can't imagine what her daughter would be passing through by now in the hands of another man.

Many times has she tried running back home but Derek being so evil and heartless would never let her.

He treated her more like a slave than a Luna. He never for once showed her love. He never cared about her feelings.

And now he's sending their only daughter away for his selfish reasons.

"And what are you still doing here? Leave" He screamed to her face.

"Let me go" Kira yelled hitting the hefty man who held him tightly.

They got to a room and she was thrown inside. She was expecting to be thrown into prison. But she was awed at the sight before her.

Chandeliers were hung around the room. A huge bulb was placed in the middle of the room, A huge bed in the middle of the room.

The door was pushed open as the man walked in already changed.

"Why am I here?" she asked rudely.

"Didn't your dad tell you? You're mine now. You're my toy and I can play with you whenever I want and you must listen and obey every word I say".

"Who do you think you are to tell me what I should do?"

"You're gonna know very soon, very very soon".

"Let me out of here. I don't wanna stay here for any minute".

He took a slow predatory steps close to her. He gripped her arm tightly. His nails pierced through her skin like he would rip them off any minute.

"You're hurting me" She tried pushing him away but he's stronger than he looks.

"Strip" he ordered coldly.

Silver moon pack

"I heard what happened in school today, River," Mrs. Damon said.

"Mom, it's not what you think. He actually started it first. He got on my nerves and I couldn't control it" River defended.

Charlie and Mrs. Damon are the only people he got and he hates seeing them sad. Especially Charlie.

"I never asked for your explanation" Mrs. Damon added. Walking out of the kitchen.

Charlie quickly set the table for her to put the tray on.

After having lunch everyone left for their room including River.

As soon as Charlie got in, she pushed the door close and hopped onto the bed.

She made a few clicks on her phone. Her eyes widened in shock as the picture of what River did was all over the Internet.

Will some were cursing River for trying to kill the boy. Others were gushing on his handsomeness.

"Why would a little kid wanna kill an innocent boy?"

"He's so handsome and I think the other boy is at fault"

"I wish he was boyfriend".

"He should be punished for his crime".

"He looks like the handsome devil"

These were comments from the people who watched the video.

"Useless people" Charlie muttered and lay on the bed to take a nap.

River on the other hand kept looking at the pendant and book that was given to him by his mom before her tragic death.

"Mom, where ever you are I just want you and dad to know that I always and will always love you till my last breath. I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to us. I torture and make him pay for his crimes. I promise you that and I hope you're happy where you are" River cried silently.

His parents were killed on his birthday by rogues. But what he knows is that whosoever that killed his parents is sitting on their throne and he has sworn to take revenge.

He laid on his bed crying silently till he slept off.

The blaring of Charlie's phone woke her up from her deep slumber.

She lazily pressed the answer button without checking who it was. Not she wanted to know anyway.

"who's on the line? She asked grumpily

"Come to the school entrance, I got something to show you concerning your brother Rivers," The person on the other end said.
