The Little Bride Of Mr. Xavier

Author: : karlinanovi
Genre: Billionaires
My life felt lonely and useless. I even supported myself by selling flowers. Like someone who would never be considered by anyone. One day, before my sister got married, she ran away. Her husband-to-be was angry, the highly respected CEO. "You replace your sister as my bride!" he ordered with an evil look. I shivered at the sight of him. For the first time, my life was considered worthwhile. My family agreed to sacrifice me to become the CEO's prison slave. Mr. Xavier.

Chapter 1 The Runaway Bride

A handsome and dashing man is seen grooming himself in front of the mirror. Occasionally a faint smile appeared on his sexy lips, a smile that could not be separated from his lips. The black suit combined with the white shirt fits perfectly on his tall body, adding to the man's good looks many times over.

The man named Xavier Romanov, today will have a wedding. The wedding of his dreams with his beloved. He had planned it all for a long time, but only this time it happened.

"I really can't wait," Xavier smiled and tried to exhale slowly to get rid of the nerves that were attacking him.

The dream wedding was going to happen, even if it meant stepping over his brother. The man no longer wanted to delay, he wanted to make the love of his life the Queen of his life. While waiting for the others to be ready, he grabbed the cell phone lying on the table, trying to contact his future wife. But, unfortunately, the call was not connected and even the lover's cell phone number was now inactive.

"Looks like you didn't activate your cell phone on purpose. You naughty girl," the man muttered with a chuckle.

The bridal party was preparing to leave for the bride's house. Several luxury cars lined the streets. With Xavier sitting with his brother. Arshaka smiled at his brother. He was willing to be stepped over by him.Because for the handsome man, marriage is not a competition. Not a race, Arshaka patted his sister's shoulder. Now they were lined up sitting in the chairs that had been provided by Rini. Xavier himself was already sitting in front of the Penghulu. The man could not wait to see his beloved.

"How are you ready?" asked Penghulu.

"Yes, I'm ready," Xavier replied firmly.

"Well, before we say our consent, may the bride be brought here," said the officiant.

Rini nodded and went to the princess's room and knocked on the blue-painted door. The middle-aged woman waited for a long time but unfortunately the door did not open, the woman opened the door which happened to be unlocked. She was surprised to see that the room was empty.

"Where are you Meylan! Lest you run away on your wedding day!" Rini said in panic and fear because if that happened, her life would be ruined.

"How about it, are you ready?" asked the Penghulu for the second time.

Xavier was silent, the man's hands clenched, his jaw hardened. He looked around, it was impossible for his heart's lover to run away. If so, what made her leave.

The man moved on, following his future father-in-law. After previously he asked the headman to wait for a while. Arriving at the room, he was surprised to find that the room occupied by his lover was empty.

"Where are you Meylan! Maybe you ran away on your wedding day!" Rini said in panic and fear because if that happened, her life was ruined.

The man moved on, following his future father-in-law. After previously he asked the headman to wait for a while. Arriving at the room, he was surprised to find that the room occupied by his lover was empty.

"Where is she!" Xavier asked coldly.

The middle-aged woman was shocked to find the man who was her daughter's future husband already in the room. The woman's face turned pale as she saw Xavier's frightening look. She couldn't answer anything.

"Sorry, kid! It looks like Meylan, she," the woman was cut off.

"She's not in her room!" she continued.

"Go find her, I don't want to know! This marriage must go on!" growled Xavier.

The woman was silent, and soon she left the room. Meanwhile, Xavier preferred to wait in the room, not forgetting he contacted his men. He ordered them to find the woman's whereabouts. Xavier did not expect that his lover would betray like this. He was silent thinking about what he had done wrong. But unfortunately, there was no flaw or fatal mistake he made that made her leave.

"Nandini," the woman muttered when she saw her youngest daughter helping people in the kitchen.

She walked straight up to the little girl. Then pulling roughly on her tiny hand, the woman dragged Nandini's small body towards a room close to the kitchen. She gripped the girl's arm so tightly that it looked red, the woman also stared at the girl so hard that she preferred to keep her head down.

"Today, you will replace your sister, married to Mr. Xavier!" the woman said firmly.

"Why should I marry my brother's lover, ma'am? Where are you going?" asked Nandini quietly.

The woman with the title of mother glared at Nandini's words. She didn't like it when the girl called her mom. To her, this girl was nothing but a jinx.

Today, she would force her to replace the princess who had run away somewhere. What mattered now was that the marriage was not canceled. The only way was to make Nandini the replacement bride.

"Listen to this! You don't have to ask many questions, and you have to take your sister's place! If you don't, then you'll know the consequences!" threatened the middle-aged woman.

Nandini winced as she felt her mother's grip tighten. Her mother was so strong as she held her arm. Seeing the anger in her mother's eyes scared Nandini.

"But, mom!" Nandini's words were cut short as the woman dragged her back. Bringing the girl to the person who would do her makeup.

Meanwhile, Xavier was still waiting. Until a few minutes later, the woman returned to her daughter's room with a woman who was already wearing a wedding dress. The woman also explained that her lover's sister would take the bride's place.

Nandini looked down, not daring to look at the face of her brother's lover. In Nandini's eyes, the man was very cold, and even if they happened to meet, Nandini preferred to avoid him. But today, the universe seemed to be playing tricks on her. Xavier stared flatly at the beautiful and young woman, the man's face still portraying a suppressed anger.

"Take her!" Xavier said coldly.

Now, Nandini was sitting next to Xavier. And the man began to say his consent with a different name. There were murmurs from the mouths of the guests who came but Xavier ignored them.

Nandini-Xavier's wife's heart was beating fast. She repeatedly tried to catch her breath, until someone's voice awakened her and asked her to immediately kiss her husband's hand. Nandini slowly raised her head, daring herself to look up at the handsome face. The two of them exchanged glances. Somehow Xavier seemed hypnotized by Nandini's hazel eyes.

"Sorry...!" Nandini said the word softly in her heart.

"Why did you do this to Meylan!" Xavier muttered in his heart, his hands clenched again.

A split second later Nandini tried to grab Xavier's hand. The man seemed forced to extend his hand. Nandini kissed it gently, at the same time clear liquid dripped.

Xavier felt the warmth of the tears. He immediately pulled away, then got up to leave. However, he was stopped by the voice of the woman who served as the MC of the event.

"The groom seems impatient to go down the aisle. Wait a minute, let's do a photo session for a keepsake, yes." said the man.

The photographer began to give instructions, directing the couple in various poses. Xavier asked not to take too many pictures but, instead, he was asked to kiss his wife on the forehead for the last photo after the contract. With his face holding anger, Xavier was forced to do what was directed by people who he thought were very pushy.

"And now our newlyweds please go down the aisle, and for those who want to congratulate you, please get ready," said the Mc.

There were still whispers from the people who came. They didn't expect the bride to be replaced by her sister.

"Poor Nandini, already tortured by her mother, now forced to replace her brother!" said one of her neighbors.

Rini glared at the whispers, lest what they were chatting about reach the ears of her son-in-law. But it was a pity because Xavier had already heard it. He would certainly not add to his little wife's misery.

One by one, the invited guests went up to the stage. Now it was time for her friends and brother to congratulate her.

"Congratulations Bro, I didn't expect you to be a little boy!" said one of his friends.

Xavier clenched his fists until the knuckles on his hands turned white. His face was red with anger. They left after they were satisfied mocking their friend.

It wasn't long before Arshaka Dewangga Romanov, a 29-year-old man with a stern yet gentle face who was the groom's older brother, arrived.

"Congratulations, I wish you happiness. Although this is not the marriage you expected. But Abang hopes, you can accept him completely. Because after all, she is now your wife," Arshaka said as he patted his younger brother on the back, then turned to look at a beautiful girl who was wearing a wedding dress that fit her perfectly. A girl who probably deserved to be their sister.

"Congratulations Sweety, I wish you happiness," Arshaka said sincerely. Nandini remained silent without answering anything. Event after event was finally over. Now the new couple was in Nandini's tiny room. The girl looked down and twirled her dress as she usually did when nervous. Xavier looked at the downcast face, and grinned.

"WELCOME MY SLAVE!"

Chapter 2 Poor Nandini

"WELCOME MY SLAVE" the inner man spoke, a mysterious smirk rising on his sexy lips.

Xavier was still staring at the little girl who had become his wife in place of his lover who had run away somewhere. But, he had nothing to worry about because the man had already spread out his men to look for the ignorant woman. He had to pay for all the things he had done to embarrass her, and for the time being, his sister would take over the role of carrying out the punishment.

"How long are you going to stand there hmm," Xavier said flatly and coldly.

Nandini slowly raised her head, looking at the man who was now sitting on the edge of her small bed. Yes Nandini was given a very small room, unlike her two brothers who had a very spacious room. But, for Nandini it was better than she had to live and sleep in a dirty and stuffy warehouse.

"S-sorry," Nandini squeaked softly.

Xavier looked intensely at the girl. There was an indefinable feeling when he looked into her bright brown hazel eyes. Her beautiful face also made him unable to look away, Xavier did not expect that Abrian and Meylan had such a beautiful sister, because all he knew was that Meylan only had one brother, Abrian.

"Apologize for what! Did you do something wrong to me?" the baritone voice sounded firm and flat. Xavier's stern and cold expression made Nandini's guts shrink in fear.

"I-I apologize b-because I was forced to take my sister's place," the girl said softly and lowered her head. "My mom said that I'm only temporarily replacing her, and when her come back, she'll come back to you," she continued softly.

Xavier smiled a smirk. "If I don't want to, how about hmm," he said with a faint smile.

Hearing the words that came out of the man's lips made Nandini lift her face, daring herself to look back at the man who was already a husband. Ah husband? Just thinking about it Nandini did not dare. Her brow furrowed as she looked surprised and didn't understand what he meant. She wanted so badly to refuse, but if fate had already acted what could she do.

"I-I don't know," Nandini whispered.

Xavier chuckled. "You... You'll be the one serving my punishment in her place! Get ready!" the flat words sounded terrifying to Nandini's ears especially when she saw the smirk on his lips.

"B-but why me! What did I do wrong to replace my sister! It's not fair!" she shook his head and Nandini dared to argue with the man.

"Heh, this is the first time a woman has dared to contradict me!" he monologued.

"Hurry up and get ready, because after this I will take you to live with me!" Xavier said flatly.

Nandini shook her head, she didn't agree. She didn't want to leave this house, even though she had only been tortured during her stay. It was a different story if she had to go with him, a new place that was certainly very foreign to her. Then what about the people who lived in her husband's house, she didn't even know because this was her first encounter with that cold man.

"S-sorry but I don't want to!" she said softly

"Heh, you better obey, because now the fate of your life is in my hands!" Xavier said sarcastically then stepped closer to the girl. "You better be ready, otherwise I'm going to force you out of here," Xavier whispered in Nandini's ear.

A single tear fell down Nandini's smooth cheek. "God, give me your protection," she cried bitterly. Lamenting the fate and destiny that never favored her. Since childhood, Nandini had been considered a bad luck charm for her mother. She don't know what made her so heartless and cruel to her.

"HURRY UP!" growled Xavier.

Inevitably obedient and resigned, the girl walked slowly to her closet to bring some of her shabby clothes. Her sister's old clothes. Nandini had never bought new clothes since she was a child, she would only wear her older sister's leftover clothes.

The handsome man continued to watch what the little girl in front of him was doing. He could see the shabby clothes that a maid should wear. And without changing their dresses, they left for the Xavier mansion.

"Hurry up, my time is precious!" snapped Xavier.

Then the two of them stepped out of the room that was so cramped according to Xavier. He really didn't feel like staying in that room for long. It's already small and stuffy! Xavier thought. When they arrived downstairs, the woman was sitting on the sofa. Without greeting the woman who was his mother-in-law, Xavier continued to walk. Nandini was forced to follow the man's wide footsteps.

"Ah, you're leaving right now!" Rini's voice boomed when she saw her son-in-law and daughter about to leave the house.

"Why Mom, why are you so cruel to me, I'm your daughter too Mom, regardless of what mistakes I've made in the past," Nandini's heart ached at the wide smile on her mother's face. Xavier looked at his mother-in-law flatly. He was disgusted by the woman's expression. He wanted to get rid of her, but only after he found that asshole Meylan.

"Hmm," Xavier replied briefly.

Rini was still smiling broadly, "Ah yes about the reception tonight, don't you think Nandini should be here first, then we'll go together to the hotel," Rini said, still maintaining her smile. Xavier looked flat and smiled sarcastically.

"Unfortunately, there won't be any reception. Because I've canceled it!" Xavier's reply sounded flat but there was a note of satisfaction when he could see the pained face of his father-in-law. Xavier strode gallantly away from his in-laws.

While Nandini was still silent, she was still staring at the woman who meant so much in her life. Because Xavier was annoyed at the long wait, he shouted.

"NANDINI!" Xavier shouted loudly in the luxurious house, he did not care about the people who were still there. "HURRY!" he continued, still shouting.

It instantly made Nandini tense and scared. The people who were there could clearly see the look of fear on the girl's beautiful face. She walked quickly to catch up with the man who was shouting like a maniac.

"HURRY UP!" snapped Xavier as he glared at the girl who was now in front of him. Nandini was silent, not answering anything. She followed her husband's wide stride. But when they were almost near his car, Nandini suddenly saw the movement of someone suspicious.

"Mister watch out!"

Chapter 3 Poor Nandini 2

"Mister Watch out," Nandini shouted from behind Xavier's burly body as she saw a man carrying a knife and about to stab him. Nandini ran and pushed Xavier's body with all her might. Xavier fell, staggering and Nandini held the knife from the man. The blood dripped on Xavier's face. Xavier's bodyguards immediately moved to subdue the man, they missed. Because the one who was about to stab Xavier was his own men. Nandini's hand was injured, and it looked like the wound on the tiny hand was quite deep. Xavier got up, he wiped his face with Nandini's blood droplets.

"What are you doing!" His voice boomed as he snapped at Nandini. The girl he snapped at immediately bowed her head. The body trembled at the sound of Xavier's mouth. The people who heard the commotion in front immediately ran over to them. They were shocked to see the girl bleeding. "You want to act like a hero," Xavier snapped as he grabbed Nandini's hand. The girl was even more frightened, her body shaking. A man approached them. He roughly removed the hand that was gripping the girl's hand. "Don't ever yell at her," Abrian hissed, glaring at Xavier, the man who was his friend, brother-in-law, and boss. Xavier was silent, for a long time he stared at the man who now dared to look at him sharply. Even bravely, the man threw out his hand violently. How shameless. "Go away, she's not your responsibility now! Her life is in my hands!" Xavier said equally coldly and glared at the man. The man also gave Xavier a sharp look, and he was forced to give in. He could not help the little girl. "It's too late Abrian, you and your mother have brought her to endless suffering, you are not satisfied with torturing her, leaving a deep traumatic. Damage her mentally. So what do you do now? Help her? TOO LATE!" Her mind chimed in. The man stared at the car that was now slowly leaving his yard. Even the tents were still standing proudly. The handsome man's hands clenched into fists, holding back the tightness and pain. "MEYLAN WHERE ARE YOU!" growled Abrian as he stepped into the house. He saw his mother opening the gift Xavier had brought. There was a smile on her lips, no look of sadness or regret on her face. There was only pleasure, she was not at all worried about her daughter's condition. The man stepped into his room upstairs without greeting his mother. Now he was staring at a picture where there was a genuine smile etched on his mother's face. Ever since that incident had taken away all the happiness of her small family. But, once again she asked, was Nandini to blame when the little girl knew nothing. "I'm sorry Dad, I couldn't take care of my little sister. I've ruined her, yes I indirectly contributed to her suffering," the man whispered. * * All the way to the Xavier Mansion, the man just silently stared at the road. He had also ordered his men to investigate the background of one of the bodyguards who had betrayed him. As for Nandini, she squeezed the hand that continued to bleed, there were no moans or tears. Because for her, this was normal, even she had been tortured more than this. Xavier occasionally glanced at the girl beside him with the tail of his eye. "Why is this girl not in pain at all?" Xavier asked himself. The little girl endured the pain in her hands. "God, may I ask, please tell me what kind of life I will live. Will my life only continue to suffer?" the girl's mind cried. Soon, they arrived at a very grand mansion. The mansion had a huge courtyard. Even Nandini's house was inferior. "Get down!" The little girl got down, and stepped slowly following the wide strides of the man in front of her. The little feet even walked quickly, shuffling so much that they almost fell over. A middle-aged man welcomed his master and his wife. "Welcome, sir," he said, bowing his head. "Hmm," Xavier replied briefly. He resumed walking, but soon stopped and turned his burly body around. The man stared intently at the girl who was still wearing her wedding dress, a dress that had changed color. The man also looked at the middle-aged man who was still faithfully following him. "Take her, and treat her hand. Show her the storeroom she'll be staying in at the back pavilion!" the flat voice droned in Nandini's ears. "Yes sir," the middle-aged man replied. "And, give her a maid uniform. Also, tell her what her duties will be! Ah, and she'll only be in charge of me!" he said and then stepped into the room on the top floor of the mansion. Then the middle-aged man looked at the little girl whose appearance had been messed up. However, her beauty still shone through even though the wedding dress was out of shape. The middle-aged man looked pityingly, but couldn't do anything about it. "Come Miss, I'll treat your wounds and show you your room," he said politely. Nandini simply nodded and followed the man's footsteps. All the way to the storeroom in the pavilion far behind, Nandini was silent. She did not utter a single sound. "Come Miss, I'm sorry this is the warehouse you'll be staying in. And I will ask one of the maids to help you treat your wounds," the man said. "Okay Uncle, and just call me Nandini Uncle, no need to call me Miss," Nandini replied softly. The middle-aged man smiled slightly and walked away. Nandini took a look at the warehouse she was about to move into. The warehouse was dirty and dusty. "Excuse me, Miss," a woman greeted her. Nandini shifted her attention and looked at the middle-aged woman in front of her. Then she invited her in. She entered, and winced slightly at the sight of the filthy place. "I want to treat your wound," said the middle-aged woman. Nandini smiled, nodded and let the woman into the storeroom. Then she helped her remove the blood-soaked dress. Nandini remained silent as the woman helped her. "Why are you holding this wound, why don't you ask Master to treat you first before heading to the mansion," the woman said when she saw the wound on Nandini's tiny hand. Nandini just smiled. She didn't answer anything. The middle-aged woman smiled too. "Get some rest, Miss, when dinner time comes, I'll wake you up," she said softly. "POOR THING, WHERE WILL SHE REST? THIS PLACE IS SO DIRTY," the woman thought, looking pityingly at the little girl. Nandini nodded and tried to find a mat to lay her tired body on. The small, thin body now sat on the cold floor. Slowly, her tired eyes closed and she went to sleep. Byurrr
