The Lady Alpha's Wrath

Antonia's POV

I woke up in the cells as I thought about what had happened.No this was just a bad dream, it couldn't have happened in front of me.

I pinched myself to make sure it was all a bad dream, I was hurting and the fact that I was in the cells with a few wounds confirmed that this was not a dream.

Everything that had just happened was real. Rodrigo had betrayed all of us, he had just attacked my pack from the inside, killed mom and dad and most of the people who dared to go against him.

All this time, dad thought that he was the right person who would help save our pack when the need arose yet he in fact was the one who was going to attack us.

What was I going to do now? I was here locked up for four hours now and I couldn't even break out. Rodrigo was so going to pay for whatever he had done to my people and family but first, I needed to get out of here. I couldn't even mourn for my dead parents since he denied me that right and locked me up here, why had he done all of that. I just sat there as I cried my heart out for whatever was going on out there.

If I hadn't shot that traitor Phillip because of my failure to control my anger, none of this would have happened.

Phillip Anthony was my dad's beta and Rodrigo's father. He along with his son manipulated my dad into getting me married to Rodrigo saying that we would be stronger together and that we would be able to defeat the enemy that was coming.

My dad rarely had dreams but when he did, those dreams were always a message of what was to come in the future. He recently had a dream that our pack was going to be attacked and most of our pack members were going to lose their lives including mom and dad. He also dreamed that the only way to stop this was if we got a powerful ally who would help us defeat the enemy though he didn't see who the powerful ally was.

When dad called the meeting with his Gamma and Beta, Beta Phillip suggested that I marry his son Rodrigo who grew up in Spain saying that he was a suitable ally.

Since I was an only child and the fact that Rodrigo had beta blood in him, well trained who can afford to hire any desired amount of fighters for defence and a successful businessman in different parts of the world, it didn't take a lot of convincing for my dad to accept his proposal.

A month after the wedding, Rodrigo and his men attacked us from the inside and everything that my dad dreamed about and was trying to prevent happened.

'If I hadn't shot Rodrigo's dad, we would still be captured but my mom and dad would be alive, I don't know how I was going to live with the fact that I was the cause of my mom and dad's dead.

'Don't beat yourself up for your parents, death, Rodrigo still was going to kill them.' Erica my Lycan said.

I don't know how long I had been unconscious but I was all chained good enough my dad made sure that our cells were not too bad and if it weren't for the chains and the wounds, I would swear that this was a guest room in a small motel.

'What now, how are we going to survive without them?' I asked Erica.

'They raised us right doll, we will survive this and we will make Rodrigo pay for betraying us, for the death of your parents and all the other pack members that we lost.But first, we need to get out of here.' She replied.

Before I could ask anything else, I saw a guard opening my cell and footsteps coming down towards us only to reveal Rodrigo.

The moment I laid my eyes on him, I couldn't help the smirk that formed at the corner of my lips. He would always remember the day he betrayed us.

He had a black patch on one of his eyes and a big straight scar on his jaw that's when I remembered that I had pulled it out of his sockets.

"You look handsome with that eye patch on you." I annoyingly said.

"Don't provoke me you whore.I might just kill you sooner than I plan to. Don't think that you are going to stay alive for too long, what you did to my face will cost you your life"He threatened to press on my jaws hard.

I just laughed at him like he was telling me the best joke ever.

"And you think I am afraid of dying, you killed my parents remember? I might as well join them and I will be grateful to you for doing that." I said straightening my face and biting my teeth.

His threats were not going to work on me.

"I am planning to kill you but not just yet, I need to make you suffer to the maximum before I kill you and dispose off that body of yours or feed it to the lions. Anything that will give me the satisfaction I need just like what I'm going to do right now."He said coming close and crouching down to my level.

What was he going to do?

He then stuck his long tongue out and passed it up and down my jaw. I then spat saliva on his disgusting face but he just let out his maniac laugh, touched where it had landed and then sucked his fingers. He then looked at the guys who are guarding the cell and they locked the cells and left.

My heart was now beating fast in my chest.

No, he wouldn't do that, this was the last bit of dignity I was left with but it seemed that it wasn't going to last long.

He then started to unbuckle his belt.

"Wha..what are you going t..to do?"I asked.

"What does it look like I'm going to do.I'm going to have some fun with the so called lady Alpha."He replied

"Don't you dare touch me Rodrigo or I swear you are going to regret it.I'm going to.."I tried to threaten him but he cut me off.

"What are you going to do to me? Those empty threats do not work on me!"He said walking towards me. Though I had chains on me, I pushed myself back on my butt hoping that he wouldn't touch me until I back reached the wall.

"Remember on our wedding night, you turned me on and left me hard and in pain.Now it's time for you to pay for it."He said.

"I never turned you on and it's not like we were in love anyway.What made you think that I would let you touch me.You even seemed okay with it but you a monster how could you even dare knowing well that you found your mate!"I yelled at him.

"I wanted to make everything look so real, I never wanted you to suspect anything and it worked.And the sex, it was supposed to be a bonus, I didn't and don't care what she thought.You people look too much into sex but it's just pleasure and giving our bodies what they want because technically, all bodies are the same." He shamelessly replied. Although he was annoying, I needed to divert him from what he was planning to do to me.

"So you don't mind when your mate fucks other men?" I asked.

"No I don't but she is just not interested in sleeping around she only wants me" He replied shrugging.

"Does she know about what you have been doing all this time?" I asked.

"She does, who wouldn't want to be a Luna to one of the largest pack around?"He replied.

I guess I was dumb to ask that because birds of the same feathers flock together. I guess I was just hoping that his mate was not part of Rodrigo's schemes but I was wrong.

"But do you have any idea how low you stooped, you even pretended to change your behavior just to make us believe that you are a changed man."I told him.

"It doesn't matter as long as I have got what I always wanted. I pretended to care for the omegas and treat them like we are the same but guess what? That is not true, I am better than all those low lives and they have to respect me." he yelled.

"Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of the truth." I told him.

"It doesn't matter. Now I think we have talked enough. Let the fun begin." He said.

I thought I had succeeded in diverting him but I was lying to myself, some monsters can never get diverted.

"Rodrigo, I beg you please don't do this to me!"I said tears streaming down my face.

"Like I told you before, my body has needs that need to be attended to now stay still and let me get to work." he said straddling me. I put my chained hands on my chest to prevent him from touching my buttons but that didn't stop him.

He forced his head to my neck as he kissed it and then moved to my collar bone. All I did was scream, yell and kick but he never listened.

It was then that an idea popped into my head...

I moved my chained hands to his neck and then joined them at the back of his neck so that the chain was pressing his neck hard and it worked. His face started to turn red and I saw the only eye he had left almost bulged from its socket.

He struggled to break free but I tightened my hands, I wasn't letting him do shit to me. And the moment I had him in my grip I never wanted to him go until he was dead.

He tried to ask for help but he couldn't make any sounds, he tapped on the floor but I refused to let him go. I was so close to finishing him when I had him punch me hard on the stomach that I set him free.

I groaned at the pain as he fell on the sides cupping his neck then pushed himself as far as he could get away from me.

"You bitch!" He said punching me hard in the face when he steadied himself. He then kicked me hard in the back and the stomach.

"You think you are tough..huh.Let's see if you would still be that tough when I make you my mistress and concubine." He said revealing his ugly smile.

"Kiss my ass dickhead.I would rather die than be your concubine, ugly ass."I spat.

I looked at him and thought of what I could do to him in case I didn't have all the restraints. I would take his stupid head, cut his dick off and feed it to the dogs.

"It's your loss then.Now be in here until I decide on the best way to kill you." He said buckling his belt and turning to leave.

"I need some fresh clothes." I said before he could step out of the cell. My shirt's three top buttons had fallen off and the rest of the shirt was tone exposing me in my bra.The shirt was also stained with blood and sweat making me stink.

"I might do that if you beg for forgiveness and ask nicely."He said turning and walking back towards me.

I wasn't going to beg for forgiveness from that asshole because I had done nothing wrong.

"Alright then, I guess I should leave, you seem to be more comfortable just the way you are."He said when he didn't see me apologising and turned to leave.

"Can you get me some clothes, please?"I swallowed my pride and begged when he reached the cells.

"That's much like it.You are starting to have some manners and I am starting to like you."He said smiling at me.

"I will send my new omega to bring you the clothes and some food. I think you are hungry and might be happy to see her." He said referring to Fifi. Fiona was my best friend and a warrior of our pack but this monster decided to treat her like an omega.

"You are welcome." He said when I didn't thank him.

"Thank you."I said stopping the urge to roll my eyes. He then opened the cells and left.

Fifteen minutes later Fifi came to see me with water clothes and food escorted by guards, these were not our guards, I wonder where he had put my guards.

As soon as she entered the guards came in injected me the liquid I had no idea about and removed the chains then closed Fifi and me in the cells. I could talk but I couldn't move my hands. I guess the injection was to weaken me. When Fifi looked at me, she started crying and I cried too.

"Tonia, I'm sorry."She said.

"Why would you be sorry, you didn't ask him to do all these things to me."I said through my sobs.

"I'm sorry for not being able to help you."

"Don't be, there is nothing we can do."

"That monster, how dare he do this to you!" she said.

"He has the power, so everything definitely has to go his way." I said shrugging

"How are you dealing with the chores?"I asked changing the topic.

"I am fine, even though he over works me, that's nothing compared to this." She said and I nodded my head in understanding.

"Are my parents buried already?" I asked.

"I don't know, I heard the omegas say that they saw the guards put their bodies in the car and took them away but I have no idea where." She replied.

"What is going on with the pack members and the warriors." I asked.

"The warriors woke up and are now being tortured and the rest of the pack members are being threatened with their loved ones' lives until they accept him." She said. Rodrigo had put something into the warriors food and they were all unconscious by the time he threw us over.

"That son of a bitch, I'm just praying that I find a way of getting out of these cells and restraints because of I do, he will be sorry!" I said biting my teeth and balling my fists.

"I wish I could help get you out of here.But I will try even if it means seducing these guards." Fifi said making me smile sadly at her statement.

"Just do me one favor." I said.

"What is it, I will do anything." she quickly replied.

"Just stay alive."

Fifi cleaned me, fed me and helped me out on then she was asked by the guard to leave.

Antonia's POV

After Fifi left the room, memories of everything that happened to me replayed in my head and I cried myself to sleep.

As soon as I had woken up, I heard the sound of heels on the floor and with time they got closer and louder.

I looked up to see who had come and I saw the woman that was with Rodrigo on the first day Fifi and I met them at LA Flamingo.

Looking beside her were Rodrigo and two men.

"Is she the one?" She asked looking at her mate.

"She is." Rodrigo replied.

"l see." The lady replied as she mockingly looked at me.

"You filthy witch, look what you did to Rodrigo's face!" The woman said punching me on the cheek.

"Let me guess, you are the bitch that connived with that bastard, a weak excuse of a mate to fool with us so that you could be the Luna? "I said looking her straight in the eye.

"Wait, how could he be a weak excuse of a mate yet his mate is no different from him.A mate is supposed to guide, love and fix that partner not to support the wrong ideas they have got going in their fucked up brains."I added earning myself another punch from her but I was not fazed. There was nothing left for me to worry about.

My mom and dad had been killed whereas I was beaten and almost raped by Rodrigo. What more was there to fight for. I didn't mind dying because even at this moment, I felt like I was already dead anyway.

"For a prisoner, you have got so much to say." She said.

"You thought, I would cry and beg for shit, no honey.I do not say things to please others.I call a dog a dog." I said.

"I'm going to kill this bitch!" Rodrigo's mate said as she wrapped her hand around my neck and began to squeeze.

I couldn't breathe and I believe my face had turned red. She sure was going to kill me but I didn't have much need to stay alive at the moment.

The wounds of my parents' death were still fresh and as much as I wanted to take back whatever was mine and make whoever is involved pay, I missed my parents terribly.

Maybe it was better this way, I would get to be with my parents and leave the worldly things to Rodrigo.

"Des stop!"I heard Rodrigo say as he tried to part his mate away from me. So this was the bitch he was talking to the night he proposed.

'Des, I want you to trust me.'I had found him saying on the phone.

I should have known but since I wasn't in love with him, I never cared about who he was talking to. I coughed hard after my neck was released until my breathing was even.

"Let's just kill her and do other things, I can't stand this bitch."She replied pointing her finger at me as Rodrigo tried to calm her down.

"Not now baby.We still need something remember?"Rodrigo asked.

What something was he talking about, I needed to know what he wanted from me so I decided to keep annoying them until they said what it was.

"I don't fucking care, she is just so annoying." Des said.

"Who knew the woman was a psychotic bitch and the man was a greedy pig. What a perfect match." I commented.

"You witch!" Des said trying to slap me but again Rodrigo stopped her and kissed her which helped calm her down. This would be like a soap opera or hottest couple in Hollywood if they had not messed with me or were not evil.

"Did you just come here to break and make up in front of me? If that's the case then I don't mind, I haven't seen much romantic movies in a while."I said with a mocking smile.

I saw their eyes cloud over and I knew they were linking each other. When they were done, Des gave me one cold glance and I returned it with a smirk, she rolled her eyes and then left the cell.

Rodrigo then walked towards me and crouched down to my level.

"What do you want from me?"I asked him.

"I need the password to the alphas secret Locker." He said.

"And what do you want from the alphas Locker." I asked.

"There is there are some important documents that I need." he said scratching the back of his head.

Was he nervous? Well he had to be because I wasn't planning on handing anything over to him. There weren't only the documents but also the light crystal of our pack.

Apart from the links, the light crystal also made people love, respect, and obey the one who had it. It was always handed over to the next Alpha once the old one retired. Since my people refused to do all that for him, Rodrigo wanted to use that and at times the elders would visit packs to check on those crystals.

"Ooops, I guess you have approached the wrong person because dad never told me anything about those.I guess you killed him way too soon.Don't you think?"I asked. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

Dad had called me one time and showed me everything I needed to see and know about, we even changed the password and also set it in a way that it can only be unlocked by my blood but we kept it between the two of us. Whoever had access to those documents and the light crystal of Campstone Pack was considered the Alpha by the elders.

"Don't play games with me Antonia, I know the Alpha told you the password when he crowned you the Alpha.So don't waste my time tell me the fucking password!" He yelled.

"What if I don't?"I asked raising my eyebrow.

There was nothing he was going to do that could make me tell him, was there?

"Let's look on the positive side of things.If you tell me what the password is, I will let you go freely along with some wealth.It's a win win."He said.

"First of all.Where did you take my parents?"I asked and he looked at me like I had grown two extra heads.

"What is that got to do with the password?"He asked.

"I would like to ask dad what the password is so that I could get my freedom."I said as if explaining to a two year old.

"Stop playing games Antonia, I need the fucking password and I know you have it."He said.

"And I need to see and be able to burry my parents in honor.If you make that possible for me, then I might think about giving you the password or just forget about it and blow the fucking pack."I told him giving him an annoying smile.

Another thing about the light crystal was that it had to be handled carefully. It was good when handled with care and it was dangerous to the extent that it could destroy the entire pack and a part of the neighborhood if Rodrigo decided to use the specialists to break the locker but he knew better not to because once he did, everything he had done would be in vein.

"That won't be possible since I asked my men to dig a pit and then throw them in there at the CDC."He said and I felt like the air had been sucked out of my lungs.

The CDC was the Cemetery for Despised Creatures. It is where those people that had turned out to be a threat to the world creatures were buried. The pace was deserted and those people were always buried in the most devastating way and those pits would be sealed with magic to prevent those creatures or their spirits from coming back.

"I am going to make you pay for this once I get out of here.How dare you do that to them.My parents were good people.And if that is the case then forget about the password."I replied as tears ran down my cheeks.

Rodrigo then pulled out a knife and put it on one of the sides of my belly.

"Give me the password or I swear I am going to kill you, I'm sure you don't want to see your intestines out do you?"He whispered in my ear.

I looked him straight in the eye and before he realized it, I had pushed the knife in my stomach. Blood oozes out of my body and within seconds it was spread on the floor like a pool.

"What have you done?"He yelled.

"I am not scared of death at least not anymore.Now I guess you will never know the password."I whispered and then passed out.

I woke up to the sound of the monitor...

What the hell I had survived? I thought I was finally dead but seems my suffering wasn't enough and I came back to life.

When they realized that I was awake, Rodrigo and his mate came to the hospital.

"You really know how to get on my nerves woman.Don't you?"He asked when he entered."I want you dead but you will only die when I say so."He added.

"You thought you were smart didn't you?"I said raising an eyebrow.

"Babe don't waste your time in her, I think I just figured out a way to make her talk."Des said looking at me with a mocking smile on her face.

"And what is that?"Rodrigo asked.

She then mind linked her mate and filled him in. Once the link was broken, they looked at me smiling and then they left the room. Whatever their plan was, I asked the goddess to give me strength so that I keep my mouth shut.

Minutes later, Fifi came in to check on me in her omega uniform, I hadn't been expecting her but I was happy to see her.

"Hey, wat are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Rodrigo offered that I could come see you that it would help you feel better.Why would you do this to yourself?"She asked crying.

What was he up to?

I looked around the room to see if there were any security cameras but didn't see anything.

"What are you looking for?"Fifi asked.

"I want to see if they are seeing us or not." I told her. She helped me look but we didn't find anything so I relaxed.

"Rodrigo wants something from me. When I refused to tell him where it was, he threatened to kill me so I showed him that I wasn't scared of death by doing this." I replied. showing her my wound in the abdomen.

"What does he want?"She asked me.

"The important pack documents and the light crystal.He wants to know the password but he doesn't know that it's my DNA."I replied.

"What do you mean your DNA?"She asked confused.

"In order for me to be the only one to access the locker, dad and I decided that we use my DNA as the password but he doesn't know tha."I elaborated.

"Please don't do anything that dangerous again, I need you, this pack needs you.You need to take him down and get back your position.You have no idea how much people are suffering ever since all this happened.They are relying on you to save them.Promise me that you won't try to kill yourself ever again."She said.

"I promise you."

Antonia's POV

As we were still talking, the doctor came in to check on me and told Fifi that she was needed so she left.Although Rodrigo had so many well trained men, he didn't have a doctor who was as good as ours so our pack doctor wasn't changed.

"Lady Alpha, I'm so sorry for everything that happened"He said looking sympathetic.

"Do not call me that Arvin at least for now.I don't want you to get in trouble"I told him.

Before he could say anything, Rodrigo and his mate entered the room.

"So how is patient doing doctor?"Rodrigo asked

"She is out of danger, she will be okay with time now sir Rodrigo"Doctor Arvin replied

"How many times do I have to remind you that I am no longer sir Rodrigo, I am Alpha Rodrigo and I want you to call me that"He yelled at Doctor Arvin, poor man.

"S-Sorry Alpha, it slipped my mind but I will not make that mistake again"The Doctor apologized

"You better not because the next time you do that, you will be punished understood?"Rodrigo threatened

"Yes Alpha"

"Good. Now I need to have a conversation with Antonia can you please give us some privacy?"He asked Arvin

"Sure thing Alpha"He said and left the room.

"So are you ready to tell us what the password is or we use plan B"Rodrigo asked me.I wasn't planning on telling them shit but I was curious and scared about plan B.

"I gave you the conditions that you failed to fulfill which means I am not telling you anything.What is your plan B anyway?"I asked

"You will see it in a while"He said looking at me.

"Guards"He yelled and two men came in, unlocked the handcuffs that they had tied on my right arm and connected on the bed and then put me in a wheel chair not forgetting to tie my arms and legs.

"Where are you taking me?"I asked looking at Rodrigo and her mate who had an evil smile on her lips.

"You will see"Was their reply.

They led me to the interrogation room with all the torturous materials that they could find.Did they think I was going to talk because of these.Being the next Alpha in line, my dad made sure that I got the training like the rest of the training Alpha's.At first I saw it as suffering but the more I grew up and the more I trained, I got to love it and live with it.Rodrigo would be stupid to think that torturing me would make me talk.

"Hahaha. So this is the plan B, do you think torturing me would do the trick and make me talk.You are all crazy"I laughed and told them as I shook my head.

"Torturing you may not make you talk but it might do the trick and make us know what we need to know"He replied

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

"The door is open"Des yelled

Just then, I saw the two guards coming in with Fifi.What were they going to do.Fifi would never say or do anything that I do not want to be revealed or done.

"W-What is going on here?"She asked looking confused

They then put handcuffs on her too and made her seat across me.

"Phiona , do you happen to know the password to the Alpha's secret locker?"Des asked

She looked at me then back at the bitch that asked her and then looked at Rodrigo.

"No I don't.I am not an Alpha so things like these are unknown to us"she confidently replied.Yeah that was my girl she knew what to say by just looking at the situation even without being briefed.

"Are you sure?"Rodrigo asked picking up a stun gun.He switched it on and put it on my arm.I felt electric shocks spread throughout my body and I began shaking, after a half a minute, he removed it and turned to Fifi.

"You are her best friend, she might have said something.Are you sure you have no idea?"Rodrigo asked her

After what she had just seen, Fifi failed to answer.She then looked at me and I gave her a small encouraging smile.I was now worried that she would talk, I don't know how much control she had.She was my best friend and loved me a lot and I did the same.I don't know if I would see her like this and failed to help her.

"I don't know anything"she said after sighing.

"I thought you loved your friend more than that but I must say, I am disappointed"He said shocking me again .This time the shock was so much worse than the first one.I couldn't helped but scream in agony.

"Are you sure you don't know"He asked again.She looked at me and was about to open her mouth when I gently shook my head for her not to say anything.

'I can't do this any more Tonia.I can't sit and watch you being tortured by these assholes'She mind linked me.

'You can, we can't let them get their filthy hands on the documents and the light crystal'I replied

"I said I don't know why don't you just end this already"She yelled frustration visible on her face.

"You are right maybe we should just end this but don't forget though, this was your decision"Rodrigo coached the gun and put it on my head.

'I'm sorry Tonia but I can not let this happen'she linked me.Her eyes were glassy with tears.

'Don't do this'I said but she wasn't listening to me.

"The password is her DNA"Fifi quickly told them before Rodrigo could pull the trigger.

"I knew you wouldn't let your friend die.You are really a good friend Phiona and I knew it was a good idea to keep you around"He said smiling at Fifi.

"Who would have thought that all along the password was your DNA.I must say, your dad was cunning"He said circling me.

"I think we should go open it now.Take this one back to the kitchen, I think there are chores for her to do "Des said.

They untied Fifi and led her out of the room.They also drove me in my wheel chair towards the Alpha's office the one that had been mine some time back.These fuckers had changed most of the things in the office, they had removed my and dad's portraits and replaced them with theirs with their names on them.Des's portrait had the name Destiny Oroyo Anthony written on it.So her full name was Destiny.Well we shall see what destiny awaits that conniving bitch.The furniture was also changed and a new colour was painted on the walls.

Rodrigo sent one of the guards the keys to the room connected to the Alpha's office where the locker was.

"See how good looking the office is thanks to me and my handsome mate"Destiny said when she saw me looking around

"Do you mean to say this one eyed ugly ass monster? I doubt there is a kid who wants to be close to him"I told Destiny.I wasn't the mean kind of person and would never make someone feel bad about themselves because of the way they look but when it came to Rodrigo, I did it with passion.

"And by the way that look fits you better it gives 'the monster guy' vibe but I'm warning you though, it will be hard for you to get a woman who truly loves you especially the one that has the same character traits like yours. They will be with you because of your money and power but once they get the chance, they will kill you and find some hot guys maybe even among your hot bodyguards and rule with them" I taunted him and I knew every word I said stung.I saw Rodrigo ball his fists and grit his teeth.

"You talk too much do you know that"Destiny said pointing the gun at me.

"I was just saying, why does it bother you yet I didn't mention your name and please go ahead and pull the trigger you will be saving me from unlocking the damn locker"I said smiling at her

"As soon as we finish unlocking the locker, you will be dead meat.Take my word"Destiny said

"Before you die, I will make sure that I hold both of your eyes in my hands"He threatened.I just shrugged at him.

"I would rather be dead without eyes than being a walking dead"I replied.It was then that the guard brought the keys.They opened the room and took me in front of the locker.

'Goddess please help me' I silently prayed.

Rodrigo grabbed my finger and lifted it up taking it to the locker.I started to panic, I didn't know how to get myself out of this situation.The moment my finger touches the locker it will all be done and Rodrigo will have access to everything. But before he could press it there, a guard broke in interrupting him.

"Alpha we have an emergency"He said panting

"What is it?"Rodrigo asked

"There has been an explosion at the Swift Enterprises"He said.

"Take her back to the hospital and you know what to do"He ordered the guys then turned to his mate.

"Let's go"He said to her.

I smiled internally this was my lucky day, I need to find a way to get out of here before they made me unlock the locker.I was going to think of a way when I reach the hospital or I may just start now.

"You guys are way too hot to be bodyguards"I started but got no response from the guys that were taking me back to the hospital.

I guess I will have to find another way to start the conversation.

When they took me back to the hospital, they injected me with a brown liquid that I didn't notice and I felt dizzy till I passed out.

When their stupid injection wore out, I gained my consciousness though I still felt dizzy.I looked at my hand that was again put on handcuffs and connected to the bed.

Just then, Arvin walked in to check on me.

"Do you have cameras in here?"I asked him.

"No Alpha we don't"Was his reply

"Then how do you know that I'm awake everytime"I asked him looking confused.Everytime I wake up, he shows up in less than a minute.He smiled at me before replying

"I know how long the injection lasts in your body so I set an alarm to the time I expect you to wake up"

"Ohh and how long have I been passed out?"I asked

"The injection is supposed to make a person sleep for twelve hours but since you are special, you were out for half of that time"He replied

"Is Rodrigo and Destiny back?"I asked

"Not yet but I have heard the guards say that they are on their way back"He replied and I let out a huge sigh.I never wanted them to find me here.

"I know you are a well trained fighter lady Alpha and I assume you know how to use this"He said giving me a pin and I knew exactly what to do with it.

"Thank you Arvin"I gratefully thanked him.

"I did nothing Alpha.I always forget to close the door.Please be careful and take care of yourself, this pack needs you and please be quick"He said and left the room without locking the door. He had just given me a chance to escape.

I quickly used my free hand to unlock the handcuffs and within five minutes, I was done done.I forgot to ask Arvin about the guards so I had to find out myself.

I tip toed to the door careful not to make any unnecessary noise, since I was barefooted, it wasn't so hard to achieve my goal and then popped my head out.There were two guards one on the left and another one on the right side of the corridor.

I filled two injections with whatever chemical it is that they had given me earlier and then made my way out.

In one second, I had reached the first guy without him noticing and injected him so he fell unconscious in the floor.I picked his gun and took it with me for protection.The other guard had seen me so he ran towards me.I should have fought him but I didn't have my best fighting strength so I ran and hid down the stairs.

As he was wondering which route I had taken. He walked passed me and called Rodrigo informing him that I had escaped.His back was exposed to me, I injected him too and he fell on the floor like a sack of beans.I picked his gun too so I had two guns now.

Since Rodrigo was informed, I needed to move fast before I could be captured.I knew this place like the palm of my hands so hiding and getting away wouldn't be so difficult.As I was still figuring out where to go, I saw men coming towards me.How did they figure out where I was.I didn't waste any time.

With my speed and target, I shot all of them down and got away.I then ran towards the exit of the hospital.I looked up and realised that Rodrigo had inserted cameras all over the hospital.I shot the cameras that were watching me and continued to get away as I shot the guards that I found n the way.

More men came towards me but unfortunately the bullets were no more in both guns.I shifted mid air and jumped towards them, scratching their faces.Some of them started shooting at me but since I was a lycan, I climbed the wall without difficult.Whenever they tried to shoot at me,they missed.They ended up shooting the lights and windows. Since all of them were shooting at me back and forth, they finally managed to land two silver bullets in my front leg and the back leg and I fell on the ground.

"Stop shooting, the Alpha wants her alive"One of the guards said.

I shifted back to my human form but the pain I was feeling was intense, I doubted that I could survive.

"Should we take her to the hospital Alpha, she needs help there is no way you are going to get what you want from her when she is like this.She is dying"I heard Arvin's panicked voice asking.

"No need, she has given me a lot of trouble and you are wrong doctor, I will get what I want from her although she is like this. And you are lucky you are a good doctor and I will need you around, otherwise you would be dead by now because of your negligence.

Guards carry her to the Alpha's office so that we could get this done over with and get rid of her once and for all"Rodrigo answered

They carried me and led me to the office but I was loosing a lot of blood.I doubted my chances to survive this.

I was too weak to even fight when Rodrigo made me unlock the locker.After he was done shot me in the chest.

"Throw her away from the pack, to the no man's land"were the last words I heard before I went to oblivion.

That marked the end of me and whatever it is that I was fighting for.Life was so hopeless.

Gretchen's POV

"George, I'm scared. I don't know if I can do this"I told my husband who had just helped me sit on the horse.I could do everything just fine even if it meant going to war alone but my worst fear was riding a horse since the day I saw my uncle fall off and broke his back.Now he is in a wheel chair.

"You can baby, you don't know how savage my fierce queen would look like when she is on her own horse"George replied kissing the back of my hand.

"But this is really dangerous"I said

"Believe me my queen, this is one of the most peaceful and good looking horse we have here.And she likes you.Don't you worry though, since today is going to be the first time you can ride with seating in the carriage, we will go slow, it will be more like we are taking a walk"He replied

"Can you seat on this one with me, take that one back if you want me to ride a horse"I said to him.He put the second horse with the carriage back and climbed my horse.He sat so close to me that I could feel the warmth of his chest and the beating of his heart.

He then pulled the horse and it started moving.We walked around Veganhill kingdom and when the ride seemed to be more romantic and peacefully, I asked George that we keep going.We went a little bit further to the no man's land.George even turned me so that I was looking into those mesmerizing eyes as we kept moving.

We were so lost in each other's embrace until we had the horse make noise and stopped moving.As soon as he heard that, George snapped out of it and looked around until I saw his eyes stuck somewhere in the ground.

"What's wrong?"I asked following his gaze only to be met with a lady's body on the ground.

We quickly climbed down and went to check on her.George touched her hand to see if he could feel her pulse

"She is still alive but she might die any moment"He said

"Hurry, let's help her"I told him.He turned and looked at me.

"She is a were wolf.We can't take her to our territory"He said.We were vampires and vampires and wolves were sole enemies.

"But she needs help, we can't leave her here to die.I won't be able to rest easy knowing that I could do something to help her but just left her to die"I told him.

George seemed to be having a hard time thinking about what to do.He looked at me not wanting to deny my request.

"Fine, let's take her"He said after letting out a sigh.

"Thank you so much"I told him.

We picked up the dying woman and took her to Veganhill kingdom to see if we can save her.
