Chapter 01:

"I really don't understand. I feel like they're hiding something from me," I said while thinking deeply

I caught them one day talking about sitting on the throne. I don't know why they talk like that. I have no interest in finding out but when I noticed that they became unfamiliar with what I asked. I began to doubt.

"Okay. You're going crazy again. Stop that and eat," Lily

"I'm not crazy. I just really feel like something's weird and I want to know that! I don't think I'll be put to sleep then, "

I chuckled and frowned chewing the food.

"Over reacting? Can't sleep right away? I thought you'd better just focus on that on your upcoming project,"

"Hmm. Yah. Project,"

"Oh? Is that the face?" Lily

"I'm the leader again..It's boring!"

"Wow? Still complaining! It's nice to be a leader!" Lily

"Why don't you try?"

Our conversation aren't continued when the bell rang telling us that lunch break is over. I said goodbye to her and stood up in the chair. While walking only one was on my mind.

"What throne are they talking about? Who's next? How many times have they been interested?"

Their faces were very serious when I saw the two of them talking in the kitchen while Mama was cooking. This ain't big deal and probably senseless but I can't help it but to feel curious. when I feel that someone is hiding something from me I get restless.

"Look!"

I looked at Tiffany who was smiling at me. I sighed and frowned even more. Bullies like her and her friend Cassandra are really ruining the day.

"Why would I do that? I might just break my eye on how cheap that woman is," Cassandra blinked and turned away.

Before Tiffany turned and left. She mouthed 'cheap' and 'poor' to me. Suddenly I felt worse.

"Is it my fault I'm just poor?" I whispered and frowned

I flinched with a whisper in my ear.

"Of course not! Being poor is not a sin so smile!"

Blinking as I stared at the very handsome Luke who was now smiling at me.

"W-what are you doing? W-why are you approaching---- there you are!" I pushed him away

"Why? I didn't do anything..I'm just encouraging you? "He asked.

"Yes you did!" Because you are the reason why Cassandra is mad at me

"I did what?" Luke

"Just? S-stay away from me. It doesn't matter that you're always attached to me,"

I quickly walked away from him but he chased me.

"Hey! tell me what's wrong munchkin? "

I was so bitten when he called me that. I stopped and looked at him wickedly.

"Stop that! A-aren't you ashamed? Don't call me that and s-stay away!" I stuttered to say.

"Mind telling me why?" He asked to me.

"J-just!"

I run as fast as I can but his loud laugh didn't pass me by.

"YOU'RE SO CUTE VY!"

Urgh! This is so embarrassing!!

"Talk about that!" Lily shuddered

We are now walking to our house. We are just neighbors so we go home together.

"It's not my fault. He's the one approaching me. Cassandra and others must understand that. I have no intention of Luke,"

"Hmm. Nothing? But you have a crush on him?"

My cheeks warmed, "That's all there is to it. I know my limitations Ly,"

"Yeah right, Elvira Ashton! " She laughed

"Definitely right Lily Mariano!"

She said goodbye to me when we reached her house and went inside. Their family is well -off but even so, Ly's parents did not treat me and especially her badly. I was the next to go to our house and enter.

Our house is just right. Fits for three of us. Luckily someone gave us a free house then and Dad got the house otherwise we might be having trouble renting it now.

"Mom, Dad? I'm already here?" I shout

"Did you eat that princess? The food is ready?" Mama greeted me with a smile.

I laughed when she called me. That's what mama and papa have been calling me ever since. They said I was a princess in this house so I should be called that.

"Not yet Ma. Where's Papa?" I ask to mama.

"Your papa is still at work. It will come later. Sit down," Mama said.

She quickly took care of my meal and I could not lie down yet. She always does that.

"Mom! I can handle it,"

"Aren't you the princess? Someone like you shouldn't move...You know your Dad and I love you so much that we don't want you to get tired," Mama said to me.

"But you're the ones who get tired!"

"It's nothing. We're used to it. The help is enough ----," she cleared her throat "Eat that okay? I'll just do something upstairs," then she left me.

my forehead furrowed as I stared at Mama's receding body.

"Help? What help?" I whispered

I continued eating until I heard our door open. I smiled when I saw Dad.

"Papa! How's work?"

"It's okay Princess. You? how is our jewel? " He hugs me I felt so happy. I am content with this. I am with my family.

"Alright. Even a lot of bullyy," I sighed.

"Bully? Who are those and why are you being bullied?" His forehead was furrowed

"Nah! That's not it yet. I can handle them, no! I still can. Your Princess is so strong, "I smiled broadly to him.

"We know that. But can you tell me why they're bullying you?" Papa asked to me.

I sighed, "Because we're just poor but I don't have that. The important thing is. We're complete. We have something to eat and a house. That's okay,"

Dad shook his head and smiled at me. There was a twinkle in his eyes that I could not understand.

"You're not poor Princess," Papa said.

"Huh?"

"Because you're so full of love that they don't have. So you're right. Don't mind them, one day, you will stand on the ground on which you stand and tread on glowing stones worth gold. You will laugh and be omnipotent," Papa said to me.

"Thank you Dad. I promise I'll do well in school,"

"But be careful our Princess, because many will be blinded by your brilliance and will do anything to make you fall or be replaced by the rock on which you stand,"

Chapter 02:

"I'm even more curious about what Papa said," I complained to Ly.

"You're the only one who thinks they're hiding something. Vy, all parents advise like that. Don't even think about anything. Maybe you'll go straight to the mental," Ly said.

I just ignored her, no matter what I say, she won't believe it, especially if it's just happening on the show.

"Vy? You're in trouble now," Ly whispered.

"Huh?"

I followed her lead. I felt a little nervous when I saw Cassandra approaching and her aura looked bad. I strengthened myself. I'll defend myself no matter what.

"You're not really going away from Luke, right? You really want to see me mad. Aren't you?" Her muffled shouts echoed.

"I already told you I wouldn't steal luke for you. He's too early!"

"Liar! so how can you explain me what happened yesterday? Just being friendly? "

"Cassa ---- aww !!" I complained.

She pulled my hair causing me to stand up. I want to fight but I might be expelled from school if I do that. I don't want to dissapoint them Mom and Dad. Lily stood up in the seat but Tiffany blocked the way.

These bitches! Argh!

"Iron!" Lily

"I-it's okay Vy. I'm just okay," I said to her.

I'm trying everything, and I don't want to hurt this woman!

"I'm telling you this Elvy! If I ever see you again near my Luke. I won't hesitate to pull all your hair out from your thick skull! Flirty! "Cassandra said to me.

She pushed me hard so I was out of balance and lay on the floor. I hit the table so it overturned and hit my back.

Argh! It hurts!

"V-Vy! Are you okay?" Lily asked worriedly to me.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine," I slowly sat up.

My uniform is messed. I threw the food as well as the drink we had placed on the table.

If I could only slap this girl!

"Mark my words Elvy. That's not the only thing I'll do to you when you disobey me," Cassandra said again to me.

"Shut up and just go away! You should be talking to Luke here because he's the one approaching Vy in the first place. It's not her fault that the man is so flirtatious that he doesn't like you in the slightest !!" Lily shouted at Cassandra.

"L-ly! That's enough!" I stopped but she didn't let me go.

"What did you say?" Cassandra asked.

"Are you deaf? It's not Vy's fault that Luke is approaching her and you're not even his girlfriend so who are you to react like that? You even humiliate a student inside the campus which is included in rules here. Don't test me Cassandra! I can sue you by telling this to my uncle who is the owner of this campus. I'm sure you can get to your parents if you don't get the hell out of here! "Ly said.

"Bitch!" Cassandra said.

She turned and walked away as Tiffany stared before following her. I sat down and rubbed my back against the hip that had been hit by the table.

"She's going crazy. You shouldn't have scolded her but still, I thank you. She's overdoing it. If it wasn't for my schoolarship I might have poured our softdrinks on her," I said.

"She deserved it, it's not really your fault. She is frustrated. I can't imagine that she did that to you because of jealousy. She didn't even own the guy but she had the gut to act like a possessive girlfriend. It's also Luke's fault. thanks to his father, because if his Dad hadn't invested in this school. I'll request my uncle to terminate her here, "Ly said.

"Let's just ignore her. I'll just avoid Luke,"

"Yeah. By the way. Can you relax at the clinic first and change your clothes? You also fell badly at the table earlier, "

She nodded and helped me to my feet. Because of the pain I felt in my hip, I slowly walked to the clinic. I immediately lay down and chinecked the part that hit the table.

"Thank you Doc," I thanked to the doctor.

He nodded and left. I turned to Ly. we talked for a minute before she bid her goodbye. I am exempted now because I am in the clinic.

"They'll be worried about Mama when they find out," I whispered.

I need to hide it first. It's as if they don't have to worry anymore.

I closed my eyes and was about to fall asleep when I heard Luke's voice. What is that!

"Hey munchkin are you okay?"

"By the way. I bought some fruits for you munchkin! I know how much you like it. Enjoy and take a rest!"

I remained silent until he lost his presence in the room. I looked at the fruit he brought. I thought it was just grapes but there are others. So thoughtful. What is his purpose for me?

"Isn't that how men are? They become sweet when they need something,"

if so what is that 'something'? I looked at my uniform which was full of stains. Maybe I'll just wait for Lily so I can change.

I moaned when I felt pain in my hip as I moved. Annoying. Cassandra also had a day.

"Vy? Change that so we can go home. You need to sit back and say ---, "Ly

"No. We can't tell them what happened. They can't worry,"

I took the dress in her hand and dressed there as well. No one can see me and I have a shirt and cycling. I heard her sigh.

"I know that," I smiled "You can't leave me because you're in love with me haha," she laughed at me. She helped me stand up after I got dressed. I put my clothes in the bag first and then we went out together. there aren't many students around because they went home a while ago.

"Mama is inviting you later for dinner. Don't miss it! She'll be mad," Lily said to me.

"Mama and I can come but I don't know Papa. It's not like the day he comes home is fixed," I replied.

"Just come along,"

I was stopped when Luke and his friend Steve suddenly blocked the road. Please oh! I just finished the clinic!

Lily's face turned sour when she saw Luke and Steve.

"Don't get in the way," Lily said.

"I need to talk to you," Luke said to me.

"Luke Vy just got better at the clinic because of Cassandra. If you still feel sorry for my friend. Please stay away. She's ruined because of you," Lily said to Luke.

I didn't speak and just averted my gaze. The emotions in his eyes were so intense that he seemed to be begging me to talk to him.

"I don't mean too much and I don't expect her to do that. I already talked to her. She promised not to do that anymore so please talk to me munchkin," Luke said to me.

"Stop calling me that. We're not ..... and I have no intention of being you," I said seriously.

Lily and I passed them but he held my arm.

"Please. Munchkin,"

"What do you really need?" I answered directly while seriously staring into his eyes "Boys won't effort to talk to girl if they don't need anything. So tell me what your purpose is?"

he was suddenly startled and averted his eyes.

"Luke?"

"We better go now Vy. You're going to waste a time," Lily said.

"I want to court you. If you let me Elvy. I'll do anything to make you happy,"

I was stunned by what he admitted. Is this true? Really? L-Luke? W-wants to court m-me?

"L-luke stop ---,"

"Just say yes and I'll prove you how much I wanted you,"

Chapter 03:

I was taken aback by what he said.

"Y-you're crazy!" I stuttered.

"Please. Give me a chance Munchkin. Please! Please! Please!!" He smiled broadly God! I don't want to give up! I looked away and did the thing I knew I would regret.

"Vy!" I heard Lily scream.

"Ahhhhhhh," I shouted as I ran

Trouble! That man is just a trouble! That's right! I don't want trouble. I don't want trouble. Yeah.

"Why am I feeling like I'm just convincing myself?" I whispered in disgust, I stopped running and chased the breath sitting on the side of the road. For a moment I heard footsteps. I immediately looked at her and thanked her that it was just Lily.

"Why did you run?" Lily asked to me.

"What should I do if? I yes to him?" She sat down next to me and smiled, "I don't like Luke but he made me feel good before, He's a teenager. You did the right thing Vy. I immediately went straight to the kitchen and saw her there cooking. She was busy cooking so she didn't notice me.

"There's that princess! Are you hungry? Just wait! I forgot to cook because I forgot what I was doing before, sorry Princess Samara let you mass -----, " She stopped speaking as if she had said something wrong. I frowned at what she called me.

"Mom? When did my name become Samara?" I asked jokingly to her.

I noticed her pallor. Mama can't speak anymore haha. my eyes widened when I saw what she was cooking overflowing.

"Mom! The one you're cooking," she quickly complied and turned off the stove. Shee rubbed her forehead afterwards. I approached her and supported her.

"Mom, are you all right?" I'm worried question to her.

She nodded and smiled again, "S-sorry daughter. I'll just finish this." She said to me.

"Don't, Ma. I forgot to tell you that Lily's Mama invited us to their house. They were expecting us there," I said to her.

"If we don't go, Lily's mother will definitely be upset with us, so let's go. Let's just wait for Papa, "

I took the casserole off the stove and put it in the sink before I let her get dressed. when I got to the bedroom I put my bag on the bed and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower because I was getting sticky.

Princess Samara?

The name sounds familiar. Where did I hear that? Then why did Mama call me Samara? Just weird. That woman seems to have something to do with me. Right! Did they really say that they were hiding something from me and I feel that.

I got dressed and went out of the bathroom. I went to my study table and took out all my assignments there. I was in the middle of answering as I stared at my laptop.

there is nothing wrong with trying. I quickly put the laptop in front of me and typed in the name Samara but since I wasn't looking for a specific person, many came out. I sighed and leaned back in the chair frowning.

"Why am I doing this? maybe Lily is right. I'm going crazy. Mama just got the name wrong..."

My eyes widened I could get a clue. Sure? Maybe I'm not really crazy. Or maybe I just got worse. I shrugged and typed princess samara in the search box. I wait for it but there is a knock on my door which causes me to lose focus.

"Your Dad is here and Princess is ready. Come on. Are you ready?" Mom asked to me.

"Yes. I'm going out," I closed the laptop without looking at what was written there and left the room.

"It's good that you arrived! I've been waiting for this day to come so that you two can catch up. It's been a long time," Lily's mother said. It's aunt Liana.

"Ahm yes! It's been a long time, I'm sorry Liana. hands on because I'm with our Princess and my husband, " Mama said to Aunt Liana.

Mama was forced to smile at her which made me wonder.

"My husband wasn't here. He's out of town for business, anyways, I hope you don't mind. Let's go and eat, " Aunt Liana kindly invited us.

"She's in her room, I don't know, just go to her room." Aunt Liana said to me.

I turned off the road and went up to the second floor of the house. I knew where Lily's room was so I didn't have a hard time. I knocked three times before I heard her voice from inside.

"Are you busy?" I asked while peeking.

"Yes before but it's over now. Come in, I'll take a shower before coming down. You're here first," Lily said she stood up and hurried into the bathroom. I sat on her bed and felt the softness of her bed. The softness was like my bed.

I lay there and closed my eyes as I felt tired. I just woke up when someone shook my shoulder. I was caught in my head as I got up from lying down. My head hurts.

"Why did you sleep? Your head will really hurt. Let's see if they've been looking for us for a while," Lily said.

She came out first while I was fixing myself. when I made sure I didn't have a headache due to the sudden awakening I also went out. I frowned when I saw her standing outside the kitchen as if someone was listening. What does it do?

"Lil ---,"

"Shhh! They're talking about something," Lily said to me.

What she was going to say was cut short when Aunt Liana suddenly appeared on the side with a wide smile.

The two of us stiffened in our stance. Did she catch us?

"What are you two doing here? We've been waiting for you girls for a while," Aunt Liana said to us.

I sneezed and smiled, "We're going in too. Lily and I were just talking so we stopped here," I lied.

She nodded and went into the kitchen. we followed her and sat in our respective seats. I smiled at Mom and Dad who smiled fondly at me.

I couldn't be bothered when we got home. I was not able to talk to and ask Lily because Mama pulled me away immediately. it was obvious to her that she was estranged from Aunt Liana so she hurried home. I tried to call Lily but she didn't answer.

"Prince? Throne? Did they have anything to do with Mama there?"

I'm going crazy. I know what I'm doing is pure madness and there is no destination but I can't stop until I get the answer to my question. Whether they are hiding something from me or not. It's not a big deal like I said but...

"Hays. Maybe I'm just lacking in sleep," I whispered

I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep when my cellphone message alert rang. I quickly picked it up and read it.

(Lily: About earlier. I don't think that has anything to do with you because I asked Mom about that she said that about a Prince she saw in a news recently. They're just talking about a news, Vy. Nothing more nothing less so go to sleep now because I know that's what you're thinking right now. Stop thinking about things like this because you just look like a fool. Vy? they're not hiding anything from you. Okay? Goodnight)

I was blown away by the wind and kicked myself. I see that? It doesn't make sense. The curiosity I feel is enough. even my parents doubted that it was because of Mama simply calling me Samara and avoiding what they were talking about in Papa's kitchen. It may be personal and about them so they don't want to talk.

"Urgh! Why did I just think of that? I'm really upset, " I whispered to myself before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

"Is that okay? Did you sleep last night?" Lily immediately asked when we meet.

She laughed, "It's so happy to be with someone. Then you'll have a hard time if you're alone," Lily answer.

I smiled, "Sometimes I forget what I can do," I shuddered

I stopped walking when a large tarpaulin hung outside my room. I felt sorry for what was written there.

'MISS ELVIRA' Vy 'ASHTON. CAN YOU TRUST ME AND LET ME COURT YOU? '

"Uh-oh," Lily said.

"Please Vy? Can you give me a chance?"

I turned to Luke who was on the side and holding a boquet of red roses. His handsome face begged me as he approached.

"W-what are you.... doing?" O asked in a whisper.

"I'm trying my best to show you how much I want you to be my girl, Vy. I'm willing to change and dropped my tittle as the playboy of this campus just to be with you. I'm hard to trust but please give me a chance to show you that I can be trusted and I really like you. So ... Will you accept my offer munchkin? " He smiled broadly again, I felt a thrill at what he said to me and he seemed to want to answer right now but I restrained myself.

"You're just ruining me Luke," I softly answer to him.

"No. I'm not Vy. I fixed everything if you're doubting bout all of my ex-girlfriends to comeback. they're over and I won't let them hurt you, "Luke said to me.

I looked at Lily with a miserly smile on my lips.

"Like I said yesterday. It's always your choice Vy," Lily

Is that right? I'm still confused even though I'm fascinated by what she told me. I need to think carefully before I can answer his question to me.

"Sorry Luke b-but ....,"

"No. Just please say yes and let me know you munchkin. Not because I'm asking to court you does means I'll be your boyfriend automatically in the end. It's about knowing me..let's have a deal, Vy. Let me who you and show you that I'm serious, but it's up to you to decide what your answer will be as long as you just let me," Luke said.

I just shook my head and nodded at him, "All right," he jumped for joy and hugged me.

I stiffened in my stance while still hugging me tightly. My calm heart felt nervous when I saw Cassandra staring sharply at me.

I'm really dead meat later...

I bit my lip and he removed his grip on me.

"C-can you not do that lightly? It's embarrassing," I stuttered.

"I won't promise munchkin, you're too soft for me not to hug you over and over again." He gave me his panty -shed smile.

I bit my lip and looked away. Cassandra was no longer there which made me even more nervous. What am I doing?

"I'll be first Vy. My class is coming up, see you on launch." Lily smiled sparingly at me.

"You look bothered munchkin. Is it about Cassandra?"

I looked at Luke who was smirking and just stared at me. There was still a smile on his face.

"Can you blame me? Cassandra wants you and she's ready to hurt peoples just to get you. I promised not to steal you but I gave you a chance to court me. What do you think? I won't worry for myself? Why would you suddenly say that you're going to date me? "

He smiled even more.
