Chapter 1

Victoria's POV

"Vic! Good news! Our company's sales have increased because of your new designs "Of course! Miss Collins is good!"

"Asus, you flattered me. Oh, Kev, I'm going home" I said goodbye to them and left Cortwar Inc.

I immediately got in the car and went to the condo where my son and I were staying.

Yes, I gave birth. 4 years ago. A healthy cute little boy named Kiane Victor Collins. Don't ask, even though Kione is worthless, I still followed my son's name to his name.

Anyways, let's not talk about my past. More important, now because I'm happy and satisfied with what I have.

When I entered our condo,

I immediately ran to the kitchen and saw Kiane there and in front of her was a broken glass and spilled milk.

"Baby! Are you okay?" I asked as I got close to it and picked it up. I examined its entire body and worriedly looked at every angle of its body.

"I'm okay mom. Please don't worry" he said and squeezed both my cheeks and kissed them.

I squeezed his hands and put them on the table and put the broken glass away.

"Where's Naya Melinda your mom?" I asked here while wiping the spilled milk with a mop.

"She left because her baby is sick" she answered me while still swaying her feet. I sighed and looked at my phone.

I grabbed my senses and picked up Kiane. I felt bad. Because of too much work I neglected Kiane. I hate myself.

"Baby, stay here, mom will cook" I said and put it on the sofa. He nodded and moved the t.v channel until it stopped at the Gravity Falls show on Cartoon Network.

I just went to the kitchen and started putting the ingredients in what I was going to cook.

ring.....ring....ring....

I stopped cutting the eggplant when my phone suddenly rang. I put the knife on the table first and answered the call.

"Hello? Kevin? Why were you summoned?"

"Vic! Our other business partners have left! "Why?! Why did they leave the bathroom!" I shouted and took my bag from the room.

"I'll tell you when you get here. We need to talk to other board members" I reluctantly nodded and hung up.

I stopped getting dressed when I realized that Kiane was not with me.

"Baby, we're leaving! Get dressed!" I shouted at him. I heard small footsteps and the door to our room opened.

I immediately dressed Kiane and we went to Cortwar Inc.

"Kev! What happened?" I asked as soon as I entered the conference room. I made Kiane sit next to my chair while I talked to Kevin.

"Our other Investors are pulling their investments here in the company. If this continues, the company may collapse Vic" Brother said and pulled his hair in frustration. I frowned.

What's happening?

"What are we going to do miss Collins! If our other investors don't come back, this company will go bankrupt!"

"Yes, didn't you just come out with new clothes designs? Why is it like this?"

"Aren't you neglecting this company Miss Collins?"

Ah! So it's to blame?

"Stop it! Stop it! It's not Victoria's fault" Brother Kevin stopped and slammed his hand on the table.

"But Mr. Cortwar, the company is slowly falling because we lost a lot of investors!" Groin of one of the board members. I got hold of my senses. Instead of helping us with this sudden problem, they even admit to blaming everyone.

Do we hold the brains of those investors???

"We should elect a new president who will run this company. It's wrong that your father chose you," is said. I hit the table as soon as I heard that.

"What's this? Election? Just change the owner and operator of this company? Brother Kevin put blood and sweat into this!" I shouted full of fury.

"But that's not enough Miss Collins!"

"And who are you going to replace him with? You? You didn't even do anything for this in the company Mr. Suarez other than to get caught up!" I couldn't hold back my annoyance. brother Kevin held my shoulder to calm me down.

"Not him Miss Collins. It's Mr-" and before Mr. finished his sentence. Santos, the door opened immediately and it spat out the man I should never see again.

I stopped and seemed to be frozen in place and looked at the door in disbelief.

I immediately looked at Kiane but she was no longer in her seat.

"Meet Mr. Caleb Kione Cortwar. He is the one we will replace with Mr. Kevin Cortwar" I heard Mr. Santos but my attention was on him rather than on my seat.

I don't know what to feel. Am I happy because Kione didn't see my son or nervous because he is missing?

"Nice to meet you all" I looked at Kione who was seriously standing at the door while being greeted by our other board members.

He looked at me and smiled. I immediately got bored and left the conference room and slammed the door shut.

After I left the conference room, I immediately went straight to my office on the last floor. I have an idea where Kiane is.

Either Mae kidnapped it, (my secretary who has a crush on my son) or Brother Kevin's daughter, Khiara, invited it.

The elevator has opened here on the last floor. I went out and made my way to my office.

"Kiane! Don't be silly!" I heard my secretary Mae scream. It looks like he kidnapped my son again.

"Victor! Victor is more beautiful! Kiane is a girl!" It was Khiara's voice. It's like both. They both kidnapped my son.

I opened my office door. My very messy office was revealed to me.

Khiara was playing with the dolls she brought while Kiane was standing at my table and then Mae was just sitting on the sofa in front.

"Mommy!" Kiane shouted and tried to get down from my table. I laughed softly and approached him then I kissed his cheeks.

"Ma'am, how was the meeting?" Mae asked me and stood up.

"It's not good. I think they are planning to elect a new president in this company. And what's worse, Brother Kevin is his brother" I said and placed Kiane on the floor then sat on my swivel chair.

"You mean Caleb Kione? The father of-"

"Ma!" I'm threatening here. His eyes immediately widened and he covered his mouth then looked at Kiane who was currently playing with Khiara.

"Sorry Ma'am! My mouth doesn't have a brake!" It said. I just sighed and took my sketch pad and pencil. When I get frustrated like this, I just take it out on the sketch pad.

I was busy drawing when suddenly someone called on the phone.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Ma'am, the new President of this Company and the CEO of KV Inc is on the way." Said the person on the other line.

I immediately got nervous and looked at Kiane who was still busy playing.

I immediately looked at Mae and it looks like she gets what I mean.

"Baby crush, baby Khiara, let's eat the foods you like first?" Mae asked them. The two looked at each other and smiled widely then the three of them left my office.

I picked up Khiara's dolls and Kiane's cars then hid them in my drawer then sat on my swivel chair and looked at the papers piled up here.

"Come in" I said boredly and signed the other papers.

My office door opened and a crowd of people entered. None other than Kione.

"What do you want Mr. Cortwar?" I asked still not facing him.

"Is that the new way to great your new president Miss Victoria Bellatrix Collins?" This is a question. I looked at her with a frown while she was smiling.

"I don't care" I said and looked back at the papers in front of me. My forehead is still wrinkled. I'm pissed. I'm very pissed because of him.

"Your hurting Trix" it said. I looked again and gritted my teeth.

Trix huh?

"I don't care Caleb" I answered back. He looked at me and clenched his fists. He hates calling him Caleb cause this is what his Mama used to call him who has left him now. And I hate calling me Trix cause that's my nickname. That's what Mama, Papa and him call me. I despise that name cause it just reminds me of my painful past.

Okay, enough with that.

"What do you want Kione? I know you're not after money here. You have a lot of company to manage so why did you accept the offer to run this company. It's important to Brother Kevin because it's his blood and sweat. he is here to prevent the collapse of this company. Plus it reminds him of your father" I said and leaned on the chair then I folded my arms on my chest.

His face darkened even more because of what I said but it was immediately replaced by a smile.

"Your right Miss Collins, I don't need money because I have it already" he said and stepped closer to my table.

"Then, what do you want?" I asked here and it raised an eyebrow.

What's the matter with this man? His presence really irritates me.

"I will return the company to Kevin on one condition" he said and came even closer to my table while still smiling.

I frowned and stood up from my seat.

"Name it" I said confidently.

"I will return the company to Kevin if you agree to return it to me," he said. I was a little surprised then laughed mixed with sarcasm.

"Me? You want me back? Hahaha enough with those stupid jokes Mr. Cortwar. I'm not stupid. What do you really want" I said here and hit my hand on the table.

"You" is my serious answer. My fist was clenched and my vision was slowly getting darker.

I would have punched the person in front of me if someone hadn't called me.

"Mommy!" I immediately turned to the door and was surprised to see Kiane and Khiara standing there.

I looked at Kione and he was looking at the door.

"ah Ki- Victor. Where's Mae?" I will ask.He pointed behind him where Mae was running towards.

"What are you doing baby Crush. Are you going to kill your beautiful future wife from exhaustion?" Mae gasped and breathlessly approached Kiane and Khiara.

It immediately looked at us and widened when it saw Kione and then it looked at me.

I gave her a look saying help me and she immediately got it.

"Baby Crush, let's go to your mom and dad's" he said and pulled Kione and Khiara away. I looked in front of me and bit my lip. I hope he gets bitten.

He turned his gaze to me and grinned.

"I'll wait for your answer Miss Collins" he said and left me inside the office.

After Kione left, I immediately left the office and looked for my son.

"Mae, we're going home. Please tell Kuya Kevin" I said and picked up my son "Okay ma'am" Mae replied smiling and picked up Khiara.

"Bye baby crush! Come back here!" He said goodbye to Kiane and left as Khiara got up.

"Mom, are you okay?"

"Yes baby. Mama is just tired" I answered and walked into the elevator.

Kiane's head rested on my shoulder and fell asleep.

I just smiled and hugged my son even tighter.

It was almost like that earlier. I cannot bare to lose my child.

I know it may sound so cliche because honestly, I'm really afraid that once Kione finds out that we have a child, he might take Kiane from me. That's the truth. That's what single moms who are left by their husbands fear the most. When their child disappears from their company.

Suddenly, the elevator opened on the tenth floor and a woman with a pale face entered.

"Oh! Victoria! How nice to see yoy" it greeted me then smirked. He entered the elevator and sat next to me.

"Oh! Your son?" He asked but I just made him suffer.

"Aww.. don't be like that Vic. We still have something in common anyway"

He was babbling but I only responded with effort.

I looked at it and noticed that its stomach was a bit bulging. Wait? don't tell me

"Oh! Did you notice? Yup! I'm pregnant! This is our first ever baby" was her teasing invitation.

The elevator opened on the ground floor so he went down.

"Bye Vic. I hope to see you again" she said with a witty smile plastered on her face Once more, I tormented him then the elevator closed.

After we got off the elevator, I immediately went to our car and put Kiane in the shot gun seat. I don't know but I feel pain in my chest again.

If they are going to have a child, why does he want me back in his life? What exactly is your plan Kione?

There were many questions in my brain but I didn't answer any of them.

I just sighed and got in and drove away.

Chapter 2

Kevin's POV

There are piles of papers on my table right now. But what's the use of those things if I'm no longer the manager of this company?

"Daddy!" I looked at my door and saw my son there. All my problems immediately disappeared when he tightly hugged my waist.

"How's my little princess?" I asked and squatted in front of it.

"I'm fine Daddy. Victor and I played together and then Aunt Mae and I ate. Then I saw Uncle Kione a while ago and then on my way to your office, I saw Fiona" he told me. I picked it up and placed it on my desk.

"Why is Fiona here?" I asked but Khiara just shrugged.

I immediately thought of Vic and Kiane. Maybe what happened to those two.

"Where are your Aunt Victoria and Kiane?"

"They went home. Daddy, I'm hungry agaib" he said and pouted. I chuckled and carried it out of the office. I took one more glance before going out for good.

Back to Victoria's POV

When we got to the condo where we were staying, I immediately laid Kiane on the bed and went straight to the drawer to pack.

I was in the middle of packing when I suddenly remembered Brother Kevin.

I can't leave Brother and the company. I owe them my life because if they didn't help me before, most likely, Kiane and I would be gone now.

I returned the things I got and took my phone.

Calling nanny Melinda

"Hello nanny?" I opened it right away.

"Victoria son! You were called?"

"How are you? Your son. Is your son still not getting better nanny?"

"Victoria and I are fine. My son is not getting better. Maybe we will stay here longer"

"Naya, as long as you need help, don't be shy to tell me. You know we treat you like family," I said.

After talking for a long time with nanny, I decided to cook for dinner.

I haven't even had lunch yet.

"Mom! Your phone!" My son shouted from our room.

"Answer it baby. It might just be your Uncle Kevin" I shouted back and put my clutter on the table.

"Hello? Who is this?"

I immediately looked in the direction of our room.

"Kione? Kione who?!" My eyes immediately widened and I ran into the room and then grabbed Kiane's phone and hung up.

"Mom, who is Kione?" My son asked. I did not immediately answer my son's question. I'm just looking at the phone that's ringing again now.

"Mom, are you sick?" Kiane asked and stroked my forehead.

"N-no baby. Mama i-is just tired" I answered and turned off my phone.

I looked at my son and hugged him tightly.

"Mom, what's wrong?"

"I love you baby. Do you love mommy?"

"Of course mom. I love you too"

Good morning

"Mama, I'll be fine here. You go now" my son told me and pushed me towards the door.

"But son, Melinda's nanny isn't here yet. I'll find a temporary nanny for you"

"Don't worry mom. I'm a big boy! I can take care of myself. You'll be back for lunch, right mom?"

I just sighed and kissed my son's forehead.

"Just stay here. Mom will be back after I talk to Brother Kevin," I reminded. He nodded and closed the door.

I hurriedly got down and immediately drove the car to Cortwar Inc.

As soon as I got there, I immediately went straight to the last floor where Brother office is also based.

I stopped. Does Kuya Kevin's voice sound low?

I just shook my head and took out of my bag the new designs of clothes that I would show him.

I turned the door knob and slowly went inside.

"Brother Kevin, here are the sketches I just........... made"

I immediately dropped the folder I was carrying because of the shock because it wasn't Brother Kevin that I caught here in the office. Kione.

Damn it! They have already replaced the President here.

"Good morning dear" he said and drank coffee.

I raised my eyebrows and walked towards the table then carefully placed the folders.

"Here are the new designs Sir" I said and immediately turned away. I was already holding the door knob when suddenly someone grabbed my arm and brought it to me.

Who else is here?

"Let's talk about my proposal Miss Collins" he said while smiling. Damn it. How I hate those smiles. Those smiles are despicable!

"What proposal?" Wrinkled when I asked.

"I'll give back the company if you-"

"No" I answered quickly and raised my hand to stop him.

I turned around and turned the door knob again when it stopped me again.

What now?

"Where do you think you are going?" He said I took my hand back and crossed my arms.

"Going home" I answered boredly.

"And why? You have work here Miss Collins"

"Fyi, Mr. Cortwar, today is my day off. So if you'll excuse me, I'm going home to my son" I said and turned the door knob. I was about to leave when he suddenly spoke again.

"Son? Do you have a son?" He said that surprised me. I immediately covered my mouth.

"Do you mind?" I answered and left.

Kione's POV

He has a child???

I asked myself as I played with the pencil in one hand.

Why didn't I even know he was married? I investigated and nothing was said there that he was already married. Not even the last name has changed. His father's last name is Still Collims. So how come she will have children?

One night stand? But Victoria is not that kind of woman. But,

"Sir-"

"Damn it! What do you want?" I shouted to my secretary here at KV Inc.

"S-sir, it's because the board members of Cortwar Inc are calling you." It said trembling.

I just sighed and got up from my swivel chair and took my attache case and went to Cortwar Inc.

"Mr. Cortwar, how come you're not doing anything? This company is going down!" Complaint by one of the board members.

"Little by little, each of our investors is leaving, but you're still not doing anything?"

"Are you going to let this company collapse?"

"I don't care if it falls. I have other companies. And I didn't say that you should make me the president here. I just accept the offer to piss my beloved brother" I said coldly while smiling at them all. They looked surprised and made noise again.

"Shut the fvck up! You all! Get out!" I shouted because their voices were already irritating. It's just complaints after complaints, they didn't do anything. If I don't want it, I don't want it They went out until I was the only one inside the conference room.

"What do you want?" I asked not facing the door. But no one answered. I was about to face it when I felt hands holding my arm.

"Miss me, babe?" She whispered. I didn't answer her and stood up.

His grip on my neck loosened and I raised an eyebrow.

"Stop talking nonsense babe. I'll be in your office, bye" and it came out.

I just tasted it and took a glass of wine from the table and drank it straight away.

I was about to leave when the door suddenly opened violently.

I looked at it angrily thinking it was Fiona again but it wasn't.

My face immediately softened and I smiled.

"Let's talk" he said and went out first.

I took my jacket and followed it with a smile.

I promise Victoria, you will come back to me again. I'll do anything just to have you again and I promise, I'm never gonna let you go again.....

Kione Cortwar Residence....

I was just focused on the steak in front of me and my fork was all over it.

Just imagine it's Kione and I'm torturing him. Bwahahahahaha.

"So, what do you want to talk about Miss Collins?" It upset me so I stopped torturing my steak and faced it in annoyance.

Why! I'm really annoyed by his presence.

"Stop it Kione" I said here but he just smiled.

"Stop what?" You answered with a smile.

Ugh! His getting into my nerves. If I was annoyed before, I'm even more annoyed now.

I looked at him and he was all smiles. I looked at the whole face and noticed that there was no difference. His eye brows are designed perfectly and his eyelashes, it looks feminine. His chinky eyes followed by a sharp nose and red from his lips to his perfect jaw line.

Wait? Am I praising this mongoose?

"Done checking me Miss Collins?" I came back to my senses and immediately looked away. Well that's embarrassing. Because this adjective of my brain exists again.

"Ehem..... now back to business Miss Collins. I will only stop this business of mine if you will finally accept my proposal" he said. I clenched my fist and turned to look at him angrily.

If I didn't have the heart, I would have stabbed him with the fork I was holding.

"So, what is your answer Miss Collins"

My vision darkened and my teeth almost grinded because of the annoyance of this man.

"And again Mr. Cortwar, my answer is no" I said and left their house.

Condo

"Kiane! Where are you?" I called my son but no one came out. I immediately checked the room but it was not inside. I also looked in the kitchen and the bathroom but he was not there.

I was about to call the police when the door suddenly opened. It spat out my son who was carrying ice cream.

"Baby! Thank goodness you're okay. Where did you go?" I panicked and checked it to see if it had any scars or dirt.

"I got hungry mom. Sorry" he answered me. I hugged him tightly.

"Don't leave without saying goodbye again. I'm worried about you"

"Sorry mom" he said and rubbed my back.

I stood up and picked it up.

"You want to go somewhere baby?" I said smiling. Suddenly his face became happy and he nodded his head then licked his ice cream.

I laughed softly and squeezed his cheek then Kiane got dressed.

After I dressed her, we went down to our condo and got into my car.

I just drive to the mall.

"Yey! Buy toys mom! Buy toys!" Kiane shouted as we got out of my car. I just chuckled and he pulled me into the mall.

First we went to the toy store and bought his favorite toys.

"I want that mom! I want that!" Kiane shouted and pointed to a stuffed toy baymax. I immediately took it. Kiane bought a lot more but I didn't care. Kiane was only spoiled once so I'm going to make it all the way.

"Mama! I want to pee" he said and pulled my clothes. I left the toys we bought at the toystore and took Kiane to the men's comfort room.

It went inside while I was left outside.

ring ring

"Hello Brother, have you been summoned?"

"Vic! I have good news! All our investors are back and Kione has returned the company to me!"

I smiled at what Brother said and stayed.

"Really Big Brother? That's good!"

What could that man eat and suddenly become like that? But still, I'm still happy! Finally! Our problems will be over "Thank you for everything Vic. Oh hey, I'll see you tomorrow at the office" said Kuya. I nodded then hung up the phone. I was about to return my phone when it rang again.

"Hello? Who is this?" Unknown number.

"You're awesome Babe, we haven't seen each other for a year and you've already forgotten me" I immediately froze and couldn't believe what I heard.

"Luke! Kyaah! I miss you Babe!" I screamed.

Luke is like my best friend. We call her babe but there is no malice. The visit was really just a call sign. It's childish but sometimes serious. It's bipolar.

"Turn around" He said and I turned around. I was even more shocked when I saw him behind me carrying my son. I immediately jumped and hugged it.

"Luke!" I screamed as I hugged her tightly "I miss you Babe!" I screamed and kissed his whole face. I really miss this guy.

Chapter 3

"Uncle papa, just sleep at home to be happy" Kiane said and extended Luke's hand. Luke laughed softly and squatted in front of Kiane.

"Maybe some other time Kaine" he said and ruffled my son's hair. Kiane pouted and crossed her arms.

"No, no, no. It's not possible Uncle Papa. I'm going to cry if you don't sleep with us" he said. Luke didn't do anything but yeah. Kiane's only weakness is this.

"Babe, do you wanna eat here or at the condo?" I asked while I was clinging to his arm and he lifted Kiane up. We look like a happy family, but there is no malice. In fact, Luke is my cousin. But I found out that he is not my real cousin because I am not a real Collins. Apparently, I was just adopted.

Well, truth hurts.

"Just at the condo. I also miss my wife's cooking," he said and giggled. Kiane was also giggling.

I hit him and pinched his arm.

"You're really good Luke" I said and pulled him into the car. He drove to our condo.

When we got there, he immediately put the things we bought in the living room and he and Kiane opened the door. I went straight to the kitchen because I was going to cook our dinner.

I cooked fish porridge and pickles, Kiane and Luke's favorite.

I called them both to eat.

After we ate, I gave Kiane a bath before we went straight to the room.

"Tito Papa, sleep here" Kiane pointed to the bed. Luke just shook his head and lay down on the sofa in our room.

My very cute son frowned and got off the bed then pulled Luke to the bed.

"Mama, go to sleep" he said happily and pulled me. Mind you, Luke is on Kiane's right and I'm on the Left. We found him in the middle.

"Good night baby" I mumbled and kissed his cheeks.

"Good night babe. I hope you don't fall off the bed. Kiane sleeps mischievously"

"Gosh. I'm used to it" he said and laughed a little.

Kione's POV

It's afternoon and I decided to go to the mall to shop because my good brother invited me to go shopping. I can't say no because I love that brother of mine.

But when lunch came, he also left me here alone. That girl is really prepared.

I decided to walk first until my eyes caught Victoria carrying a child.

Is this what he says is his son? But to whom?

They went to the men's comfort room. The boy went inside while Vic waited outside. I came here and sat in a cafe near where Victoria was. Someone called here and he answered it. After a while he calmed down and suddenly smiled widely.

I guess he found out that I returned the company to Kevin.

After his call, someone called him again and he was on hold again.

It turned around and screamed again and hugged the man who was carrying the child he was carrying earlier.

What the! Who the hell is that!

My head got even hotter when I saw Victoria kissing the man's face and they even called each other babe.

I wasn't satisfied yet and I followed them until nightfall.

"Uncle papa, just sleep at home for fun" I heard the boy say. The man sat in front of him.

"Maybe some other time Kiane" he said and ruffled the boy's hair. He pouted and crossed his arms.

"No, no, no. It's not possible Uncle Papa. I'm going to cry if you don't sleep with us" he said.

What the fck! He will still sleep! What is Victoria? Boyfriend?

"Babe, do you wanna eat here or at the condo?" He asked that man who made my head hot.

"Just at the condo. I also miss my wife's cooking," answered the man.

I immediately left the mall because I felt like I could kill myself in no time.

monday

I decided to take Kiane to the office because Nanny Melinda hasn't come back yet because her son is not getting better. Kiane doesn't want to hire another nanny. Then Luke returned to L.A. That's my cousin. He only stayed in the Philippines for three days but he promised to come back soon. It should be! But I will hit that man if he doesn't keep his promise.

"Uncle Kevin! I miss you!" Kiane greeted Kevin as soon as we entered his office.

"I miss you too Kiane" Brother greeted back and squeezed Kiane's cheek.

"Aw! Aw! Aw! Bad Uncle"

I just laughed at my son's act. I took the papers that were on Kuya's desk when my eyes caught a photo.

A woman with blonde hair. It is white and chinita eyes.

"Who's that brother?" I asked and pointed to the frame. He was about to answer when the door suddenly opened and Mae spat out as if searching for something inside.

"Waahhh!! Baby crush! I miss you!" He shouted and immediately grabbed my son with a kiss on the cheek. Kiane is struggling and is far away from Mae.

"Stop it Mae. You're and Kiane haven't seen each other for three days" I promised and approached Kiane while lifting her up.

We said goodbye to Brother Kevin and I took Kiane straight to my office.

"Go back to your desk Mae. You have a lot to do" I said as I looked at a folder where the company's sales were recorded.

In my peripheral view, I saw him pouting and laughing jokingly. I also blinked but smiled. I heard the door open and close. I guess it's out.

I looked at Kiane who was already lying on the sofa and sleeping.

I approached him and kissed him on the forehead while picking him up and brought him into my small room in the office. Yes, I have a room here inside my office. There is also a bed, then a drawer with only my clothes and Kiane's clothes and a bathroom.

I laid him on the bed and frowned.

I left the room and immediately went straight to my table and signed the documents that had to be signed.

I also took off my jacket so I was wearing black sleeveless. I'm more used to wearing sleeveless when I'm alone here in the office. No broken trip.

I took the string and comb.

I looked in the mirror and smiled. I'm really beautiful.

I have gray eyes, then I'm a bit white. They say my lips are kissable and my waist-length hair is black. But last year, I dyed my hair red to look fierce in people's eyes.

I took the rope from the sink and put my hair in a ponytail. I left the bathroom and returned to my table.

"Miss Collins, someone wants to see you" I heard Mae say from my intercom that was on my desk.

"Who is it?" I asked while still busy signing so many documents.

"It's Mr. Caleb Kione Cortwar ma'am" I barely stopped signing and looked at the telecom.

What else does he need?

"Let him in" I answered and went back to signing the documents.

I heard the door open and footsteps approaching my table.

"What do you want?" I asked still not facing him.

"I want my son" he insisted. I immediately let go of the ballpoint pen and looked at it in shock.

"What the hell are you saying!" I exclaimed nervously and stood up from my chair.

"Stop this sh!t Victoria! You know what I'm saying!" It shouted and stepped closer to me.

"You stop this sh!t Kione! I don't know what you are saying! Get out of here before I call the guards!" I'm also angry at this.

His fist clenched and gritted his teeth. Well if he's mad I'm mad too.

"Stop lying Collins! I saw you with your cousin Luke at the mall last Friday. I asked you to investigate and I found out that the man is your cousin and I found out that I have a child" he told me angrily. I was about to throw this folder on my desk.

I frowned and took it and opened it.

I froze in place as I held Kiane's photo.

Name: Kiane Victor Collins

Age: 3 years old

Mother: Victoria Bellatrix Collins

Father: None

"Where did you get it?" I stuttered as I held the photo of my son.

"Where is my son" he asked quietly but I didn't answer him.

"Answer me Victoria! Where is my son!"

I jumped slightly when he shouted. I could feel his anger towards me but I didn't move.

"You have no son in here Kione. Now get the fvck out of here!"

I shouted and approached it. He was about to answer when we heard the door open "Mom, why are you so noisy?" I turned my attention to a small voice that called me.

It is still yawning and rubbing its eyes.

"Kiane"

"son"

Kione and I said together.

I immediately looked at Kione and then I looked back at Kiane.

I immediately ran to my son and hugged him.

"Give me my son Victoria" Kione promised with emphasis but I didn't listen. I hugged Kiane tighter so Kione wouldn't get her.

"Give. Me. My. Son" he said angrily but I still didn't listen.

"Mama? Who is he? What is he saying?" My son asked.

I stood up and picked up Kiane and stepped back.

"Give me my son Victoria!" He shouted again but I just shook my head and continued to step back. He was walking towards us.

"W-don't come near Kione. O-or else-"

"Or else what? Call the guards?" He said and laughed as if pissed off. I stepped back again until I felt the wall behind me. Kione came to us and forcibly took my son back.

"Let go Victoria!" It's a threat but I hold Kiane tightly.

Little by little it started crying so I let go.

"Kione! Bring back my son!" I screamed and just as it was about to get close, some men in black entered my office and prevented me from getting close to my son.

Kiane was crying all the time and trying to reach my hand while she kept calling me.

"Ki-kione. Pl-please, give me back Kiane. H-he's a-all I have. Please Kione" I pleaded while struggling in the hands of his men.

Kione just turned his back on me while Kiane was still crying non-stop.

A man came in wearing a suit and carrying an attache case.

"Miss Victoria Bellatrix Collins, Mr. Caleb Kione Cortwar filled a restraining order against you. You cannot touch or approach Kiane Victor Cortwar. If you violate the order, we will see you in court" said his lawyer and left.

I looked at Kione who just turned his back on me.

"N-no Kione! That's not possible! Kiane is my daughter! I gave birth to her! You can't do this!"

"I am Kiane's father. I can easily do it especially since you hid him from me for four years" he replied coldly and started walking out of my office.

I just cry and scream but he doesn't listen to me. They just keep coming out.

"Mom! Mom!" My son called before they left my office.

I ended up crying. I would have chased after them when his men immediately awaited me.

"Kaine! No baby! Kiane!" I screamed and fell to my knees and cried.

I heard the violent opening of the door and running footsteps.

"Get out of here you morons!" This is what Kiya Kevin shouted. Kione's men left.

Kiya Kevin immediately attended me and hugged me.

"Ssshhhh....... don't cry Vic. What happened?" He asked while hugging me. I immediately hugged him back and leaned on his chest while I was still crying.

I'm having trouble breathing but I'm still crying all the time.

"Brother. Bring Kiane back here. Ple-please Brother. Bring her back here. She will never be able to stay away from me" I promised Brother Kevin sobbing. He hugged me tighter and rubbed my back.

Tomorrow..........

I'm just laying here on the bed and I'm still crying non-stop. I was crying yesterday but until now, I'm still crying.

I was just looking at the void and almost going crazy thinking about my son.

I looked at his photo in my hand and I cried even more when I heard the news about Brother Kevin.

Flashback

I am now inside my condo getting dressed to go to Kione and take my son back from him when suddenly my cell phone rang.

I immediately put on the t-shirt and took my cellphone from the bed side table.

Brother Kevin Calling......

I immediately answered it.

"Hello Brother? Why?" I promise with regret.

"Vic" his tone shows his concern.

"Why Big Brother? Did something bad happen?"

"Kiane is gone"

"what?"

"Kione took him to another country last night. They are no longer here in the Philippines" I immediately let go of my cell phone and froze where I was standing as my tears began to form again.

Tha-that can't be. Brother is just lying. He's just lying. My son is still here. I will see and recover again.

end of flashback

I wiped my tears and hugged the photo of my son. I went to Kione's mansion earlier wondering if they were still there but his assistants said he had left. I was not satisfied and went to his companies but they gave the same answer.

"Ki-kiane" I called my daughter while hugging her photo.

My tears started flowing again and no matter how much I tried to hold them back, they still dripped.

"Can you only cry Vic? You are Victoria Bellatrix Collins! One of the greatest designers here in the Philippines as well as in other countries!" I shouted to myself and stood up. I immediately got dressed and fixed myself.

I grabbed my cell phone from under the bed where I had dropped it earlier and called Mae.

"Hello"

"Cancel all my appointments and meeting Mae. And also, book a flight around 4:00. I'm going to the States" I said and hung up the phone.
