Chapter 1

I grew up in an orphanage. A nun told me that I was left outside the orphanage naked.

I was surprised when Adam's car opened for me.

He let go of my hand and walked to buy things.

Adam took a bag of rice and put it on his shoulder while still holding some plastic. I tried to take it but he wouldn't let me.

"Change first," I said and handed him his clothes.

"Would you like some warm water?" I asked and he nodded.

I left her clothes on the bed and walked downstairs and heated the water. When it boiled I put half in the glass and half not hot.

I walked upstairs again and saw that Adam was already asleep and still sitting on the bed. The clothes he was wearing earlier went to the floor.

"Drink this first," I said and handed him the warm water before taking his clothes scattered on the floor and putting them in the laundry.

"Are you okay?" I asked and he nodded and I saw that his face had improved a bit and he was lying down.

It was 5:30 so I went downstairs to eat dinner. I don't have anything else to do besides that because I finished my work earlier.

A glass of milo every morning is enough for me and I don't need to eat first.

"Yeah," he said after the soup I made was finished, so I smiled and immediately took his bowl so I could wash it.
