"Charlie it's getting late! You need to get out of bed or else you're going to be late for school," Rebecca shouted.
"I'm already up mom, I just got out of the shower and I'm about to get ready now!" Charlie shouted back.
"I got the feeling that you'd wake up late, so I made your breakfast, your credit card is on the dining table so remember to take it up before you leave out for school. Am running late for work so I'll see you later you have your spare key so, ensure that you lock up all the doors and windows before you leave. I already gave you the direction for your new school last night, so just type the address in your GPS or else you'll end up lost. And please don't drive too fast. I cannot lose anyone else and try having a good day on your first day at school honey," Rebecca said in a serious tone.
"Yes ma'am, try having a good day at work as well," Charlie said, matching her aunt's serious tone.
Charlies POV
I've been staying with Rebecca for more than a year now, ever since my father William died. Honestly a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him, it pains my heart to know that I have to live in regret and guilt for what I did to him, it's just a heavy burden on my shoulders.
End of Charlie's POV
As I glanced down at my phone, my eyes bulged out of my head as the brightness of my phone screen and the time caught my eyes.
After searching for something cute to wear for five minutes, I selected a purple tank top and a black denim shorts, paired with a black and purple converse. Luckily, the clothes that I picked to wear to school were elastic so It didn't take me a few seconds to get ready....
Since I was now fully clothed, I did my last finishing touch which was pulling my curly blonde hair up in a neat bun and quickly did a light make up. Where's the beauty without a good hair style?
Pleased with how beautiful and hot I looked in the mirror, I took my black matey bag up off my suitcase, then placed my phone and purse inside of it and then practically ran down the stairs swiftly. As I reached down stairs I curiously went into the dining room, to see what my aunt Rebecca made for my breakfast.
As I got to the table where my breakfast was placed, I screamed as I took off the cover that was covering my food from flies. When I saw two strawberry pancakes and a warm cup of milk, I mean who doesn't love strawberries. I could literally eat strawberries for the whole day and not get tired of it.
I moaned as crunchy strawberries hit my taste buds. But then I remembered that I was running late for school, so I ate hurriedly because I didn't want to create a bad impression on my first day.
After I finished eating I washed out the dirty chalk plate and teacup that I used and quickly took my credit card up off the table and placed it inside of my cute purse and locked up the doors and the windows and rushed to my red porch.
Am sorry I forgot to introduce myself, it totally slipped my mind. My name is Charlie Brown I am 17 years old, I have a butterfly tattoo on my leg for about 2 years now, I can sing, I love to read, I' m a people person and I also have an identical twin by the name of Carter Brown.
My mom and my twin brother now hate me because according to them I killed my father, I blame them for saying I did because its true. I'll tell you what happened to my father on the way to school because I am already running late .
Couple seconds after walking towards the garage I spotted my red porch car. I got in, in slow motion and typed the address my aunt told me in my GPS and I was off.
Flash back... A year ago...
"Daddy can you go buy me ice cream please? I'm on my period and you know ice cream is the only thing that can ease the pain,'' Charlie grumbled.
"Can you wait until the game is done? I don't want to lose the game char, and I'm in the middle of the game and you know, pause the game, William stated harshly.
"Daddy you have to go now, besides am more important than your game," Charlie mumbled with her puppy dog eyes, she knew her father couldn't resist.
"You know that I cannot resist your puppy dog eyes char, you're too cute when you do that thing with your eyes. Should I buy the rum and raisin ice-cream or should I surprise you with something different for a change?" William questioned with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Dad you know rum and raisin is my only favorite and you know I hate surprises," Charlie mumbled back with a frown.
"I'll be right back then, tell your mom and your twin that I'll be back in an hour," William said with a sigh as he turned the TV off.
"I'll go tell them, they're just in the kitchen," Charlie replied back with a grin.
Five hours have now passed and my father William, still hasn't returned home. And to say my mother munchy and my twin brother are worried would be an understatement. Mom called dad's phone several times but it kept going to voicemail which only caused more tension.
I watched as my twin Carter turned towards me and narrowed his eyes while he spoke up saying.
"If anything ever happens to my father you're going to pay," Carter said harshly.
My heart beat quicken as I heard my brother's voice break due to the fact that he was crying. I then turned my head to look at my mother with tears in my own eyes as I stuttered.
"I'm sorry for asking William to go get me_______," Charlie stuttered but didn't get to finish her sentence.
I was cut off from saying anything else because the house phone in the dining room that we were currently in started to ring.
I watched as my mother rushed towards the phone and answered the phone with confusion as to who could be calling at this time of the night.
Well I suppose that's how you could describe the look she had on her face when she answered the phone.
As I was looking at my mother, I saw her sunk to the ground and started crying out of nowhere.
Not knowing what to do I got up from the couch and headed towards her and went on my knees and asked her the one question that came to mind.
"Mom what's wrong, who was on the__________," Charlie asked worried.
It happened so fast that I didn't even get the chance to finish my question. My mom hit me so hard I fell on the hard tile.
I lifted my hand to touch my head back and was surprised that it was bleeding.
My brother began to help me up, but then my mother finally spoke up.
"Carter she doesn't deserve your help let her be, she killed your father, my husband," Munchy said with a sob.
My twin let go off my hand with betrayal all written over his face, which caused me to collide back with the hard tile. This time my head began to spin until everything went jet black.
....The other day....
I opened my eyes and yawned from both hunger and the need of more sleep. It was then that I heard my mother speaking loudly on the phone arguing outside my bedroom door.
I got up from my bed swiftly to head outside to ask what the fuss was all about but I stopped as I was surprised to see one of my suitcase and a note laying on the floor.
On the front of the paper were two words that stated'READ ME' in capital letters. Out of Curiosity I slowly took the letter up and opened it up and began to read it at a minimum speed.
The letter
Dear Charlie,
Am sorry but it's for the best, I know longer want you in this house, because each time I look at you I see my husband that you murdered. I spoke with your twin and even though he feels the same way, he said that he doesn't want to be in the same room with you. He told you that you'd pay last night if anything happened to his father and you will.
You're just a selfish little bitch who just thinks of no one but herself. I am no longer your mother and Carter is no longer your brother. Get out of my house as soon as you read this letter and I've already packed all of your clothes and you must be wondering where you're gonna go. I called my sister and told her of my situation and she agreed to take me in. As I said before I want you out of my house and never come back and am pretty sure you already know the direction to my sister Rebecca's house already.
Hate,
Munchy (ex mother)
Carter (ex twin)
End of letter
With tears in my eyes I took the suitcase off the ground and placed it on my bed and quickly placed the letter inside of it. I rushed to my bathroom, scratch that it's no longer mine anymore, I took a quick shower which was my last one and brushed my teeth. After I was done, I walked back into what I used to call my room and look at the pictures we all took as a family. Some were with me alone, some were with me and my dad and others were with the whole family and some were with me and my twin alone.
Tears stung my eyes, as I looked at the last picture I took with my father William, I took some of the pictures of myself, some with my dad and some with my twin brother. Since my mother scratch that ex mom as she stated in the letter doesn't want to be a part of my life any more then, I don't want her in mine either.
It was surprising that my twin who always stood up for me, the one who dried my tears when I didn't want to, the only person who I truly trust with everything betrayed me.
It was unbelievable that I lost my dad and now I was losing my entire family.
"I guess it's all for the best," Charlie sighed to myself.
I put the pictures I took off my dresser in my suitcase and took up my favorite books and placed them all in it as well. After which I grabbed my car keys and hurriedly paced down the stairs to get out of this place and head on to my new home. As I was walking down the steps towards the door I heard my ex mom spoke up.
"You better not show up back here again," said my mom.
"Don't worry I won't," Charlie responded back in a bored tone.
I got in my red porch my dad bought for me a year ago for my birthday and sped off to my new home. It's a good thing I got along with my Aunt Rebecca well and she doesn't have kids which makes it better. Don 't get me wrong she could have children if she wanted to but you know how your cousins can get sometimes right.
Within 15 minutes I arrived at aunt Rebecca's house, I hastily parked my car in her garage and took out my suitcase. Trust me I don't know how my suitcase hold so many clothes it definitely weighs 1000 pounds and shoes and not to mention my books and pictures.
I walked slowly to Rebecca's front door. I honestly think this suitcase weighs 1000 pounds.
I took a deep breath as I rang the doorbell, I was nervous but when aunt Rebecca opened the door my inner thoughts faded because Rebecca pulled me in a tight comforting hug.
It took me 1 hour to explain everything; to my aunt with a few tears here and there, she hugged me the entire time that I was crying and she even whispered soothing things to help calming me down. I'm happy that she didn' t think it was my fault that my father died, instead she simply understands and that's all I need right now. I'm also happy I have someone else who knows what I am going through. After I finished explaining that happened to my Aunt she showed me to my new room.
When we got there I was shocked that my mouth fell to the ground, it was twice my previous room and trust me my old room is huge.
Flash back ends...
I pulled up in front of a huge building with a sign on the top of the building that read YORK BROWN'S HIGH. I sighed as I found an empty space to park my porch, after taking up my matey bag, I got out and pulled it over my shoulder and closed my car.
I observe the place as I walk inside of the huge school, it's definitely nothing compared to my previous old school.
It wasn't until then that I realized that a lot of students were staring at me. Some girls glared at me for what I have no idea. I'm guessing it's because of jealousy. Even boys gave me whistles when I flash them a smile, a wink or a wave.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I hit my head on a wall, that's funny because the wall moved and am 100% sure that walls cannot move.
I tilted my head up to look at the person I bumped into. Which was surprising a guy around my age, his eyes were blue like the very ocean,he had pink full lips that looked quite soft, he had black pretty hair that looked a little messy and you could see that he worked out due to the tight blue shirt he had on that printed out his eight pack. He was very muscular and could make any girl drool, not that I would be, I'm just observing. He cleared his throat, gaining my attention he spoke up saying.
"You like what you see princess?" the unknown guy asked with a smirk.
It saddened me a little when he called me that because my dad used to call me that. I blinked back my tears and surprised him by speaking up back.
"Actually I've seen better," Charlie replied back with a smirk of her own.
With that I walked away in search of the principals office, I walked for about 5 minutes when I heard the bell rung signalling that all classes were about to begin. I sighed with relief when I saw a sign that said'principal's office' because I didn't want to draw anymore attention to myself than I already did. I knocked on the door when I heard a lovely lady voice said.
"Come in," an unknown person said smoothingly.
I stepped inside and took a deep breath because I knew the awkward conversation that was going to take place.
"Good morning I am new here, my name is Charlie Brown and my Aunt told me to come to your office to collect a paper with the classes I have and a paper with my locker number," Charlie spoke up confidently.
"Good morning Miss Brown I am Mrs Rider, you may have a seat dear. I'll go get the papers out of the other room, I'll only take a minute," Mrs rider responded back.
I sat down uncomfortably as I waited for Mrs. Rider, one minute later she came back with two papers. I looked down at my timetable paper to see that I had English for my first period.

I looked at the other paper that contained my locker number in confusion, but I was pulled out of my thoughts as the principal spoke up.
"Since it's your first day here, I will follow you to your first class which I assume is Miss Green's English class," the principal Mrs Rider said in a deep voice.
"I would've gotten lost and miss my first class and you know that would cause a lot of misunderstanding, so thanks for making things easier for me," Charlie replied back gratefully.
"Let's get going then shall we?" Mrs Rider questioned, as she flashed Charlie a knowing smile as she led the way to Miss Green English class.
After walking for a few minutes, Mrs Rider stood a few centimeters away from what I think is my English class and gladly the classroom door was already opened, so Mrs Rider and I didn't waste any time getting inside. I wasn't surprised that everyone including the teacher stopped what they were doing as we made an entrance.
"I swear I am wearing straight black to school tomorrow, because maybe it's my bright colours that's getting to everyone's heads," Charlie bite her lip as she spoke to herself inwardly.
The way the silence was deafening, you could drop a pin on the ground and actually hear it. I let out a sigh of relief when Mrs Rider broke the awkward silence by introducing me to the whole class.
"Everyone, this is a new student here at York Browns High, her name is Charlie Brown and I want you all to be friendly and don't let her feel unwelcome," Mrs Rider said quickly before walking back to her office in a rush.
"Hello, I'm Miss Green. It's nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your stay here and feel free to come talk to me anytime about anything. Mr. Rider, can you raise your hand, so Miss Brown here knows where you sit so she can sit beside you," Miss Green says sternly.
I searched the classroom to see the person I was supposed to sit beside. Few seconds later I spotted a hand and guess whose hand it was? If you guessed that it was the guy I was checking out this morning, then you're absolutely correct. My day just keeps getting worse ain't it? Moments later I sat down beside the hot guy that wouldn't stop smirking and checking me out. I mean does the guy ever smile?
I focused on what the teacher was saying and took down notes off the board. But then Miss Green unexpectedly diverted the topic we were on and started talking about a story.
"Has anyone ever read the book entitled Family Issues? And would like to share to the class what they've learnt from the story or at least share your views on the book?" Miss Green asked in a hopeful voice.
The whole class was silent and I was surprised when I held my hand up, and saw that I was the only student who actually read the story. I went in front of the class and began to explain my views on the sad story.
"My views on the story entitled the 'Family issues' is that Martha shouldn't have given up on her family, I know it's not easy being a mother yet alone a wife. It's quite stressful at times, but she should've found at least one good memory that could help in fighting for her marriage. I know her husband doesn't look at her like he used to, but she should have tried harder to keep her family together rather than help her husband break it all into pieces. Martha shouldn't have listened to her friends that told her drinking was the answer. I think Martha should have been more responsible and be there when her children needed her the most, instead of being violent to them. Martha needs to understand that some wounds never heal; they just stop bleeding," Charlie spoke up saying in a soft soothing way with tears in her bright eyes.
The whole classroom clapped including the teacher and it wasn't until now that I realized that I was crying. The story was nearly similar to my present situation, But what surprised me was what Miss Green said.
"That was beautiful Miss brown, that's exactly what my views were when I read the story myself. When you were speaking, I felt the connection as if I was there and as if the story came to life, perhaps you want to become an Actor some day?" Miss Green questioned in a pleasing way.
"Thank you, yes I hope to become an Actor someday," Charlie responded politely.
I went back to my seat after I dried my tears. I couldn't let my classmates nor my teacher see me like this, so I placed my usual fake smile on my face and sat back down in my seat. I was deeply in my thoughts until I felt someone touch me on my arm, I turned my head to the side to look at the person who touched me. I wasn't thrilled nor surprised to see that the person was Ryan. I looked at him in confusion when he whispered in my ear.
"You did really well. I felt the connection and it's definitely nothing compared to what I've ever ex[erienced before," Ryan added with an impressed expression plastered on his thin face.
"Thank you. That really means a lot," Charlie responded back with a small smile.
I was surprised again when I felt Ryan's teeth on my ear, softly biting it and sending tingles down my spine in the process. And just when I thought he was done, he sniffed my neck, making my face go red,I didn't need a glass to know that I was red like a tomato, but what he said next startled me.
"By the way, vanilla shampoo is my favorite," Ryan commented with satisfaction.
With that he walked out to his next class leaving me confused and dreamy. I got up swiftly and walked to the other class I had, not that I knew where I was going, but I have to take the risk because I'm not left with no choice.
*A few minutes before Charlie entered the classroom (Ryan Rider POV....)*
I sat in my seat thinking back at what the new girl from this morning said. I'm quite shocked and embarrassed by what she said, but she is one hot chick. I am thinking maybe she can give me some good routines in my bed sometimes, it's how these girls are. Two sweet words and they all end up in my bed, so this girl is no different.
Even though her smile didn't reach her eyes I still find her attractive. I don't know what's wrong with me because it's not like I ever think about anyone so much, so why now? And what bothers me the most is that I can't get her out of my head......
I was pulled out of my thoughts, as I saw my mom walk into my class with the new girl. Few seconds later my mum introduced her to the whole class and then hurriedly walked back to her office, but not before giving me a warm smile that I quickly returned. I smiled as I finally knew her name, it's definitely a cute name for a pretty face. Her name sounds familiar, but I don't know how but I'll find out how sooner or later.
I listened as my teacher called my last name, saying that I should raise my hand for Charlie to see where I sat for her to know where she was going to be seated.
I did, as I was told and put on my usual smirk on my face. I was happy for what reason I don't quite understand, maybe it's what I ate this morning for breakfast. Seconds later she sat beside me, she didn't even spare me a glance. I was deeply hurt again and please don't ask me why because my emotions are getting the best of me.
Miss Green then changed the topic and started talking about this book called the silver lining. She asked questions about it, like if we ever read it before and what are our views on the story. To my surprise Charlie raised her hand and I put my full attention to her and placed my phone in my pocket as I listened as she began to speak.
She was speaking like an actor as they call it, I swear I felt the effect when she talked and I felt bad for her because from what she was saying was painful even though it is a story it felt real. After she finished talking she held her face up. And that's when I noticed tears running down her cheeks, I was the only one who saw them though and again it pained my heart to see her tears.
There's something about her that pulls me to her, I don't know what but there is just something about her that I don't understand and I'm definitely going to find out what it was. She dried her tears and put on a smile I knew was fake .
Seconds later, when she got back to her seat she was so deep in her thoughts that I doubt she heard the bell rung so I touched her arm and watched as she looked at me in confusion, but then I had an urge to day something to her so I did...
I whispered slowly in her ear that the bell rang, and finished off by biting her ears softly and sniffed her and said:
"By the way vanilla is my favorite," I spoke up before walking away.
Satisfied with what I did I walked out to my next class not looking back.

Charlies POV
Ever since my father died I lost everything, the only real family I have is my Aunt Rebecca. What hurts the most, is the fact that my Mother and my Twin Brother turned their backs on me. Every day I wake up thinking, that just maybe I'd get a phone call / a text message from my twin but he never calls nor texts. Not even the woman who gave birth to me, I now realize that in life the person/persons you trust and love the most are the ones who betray you and hurt you.
If I could go back and change the past, then I would but the thing is I cannot erase the past and my father once told me that: 'Some wounds never heal, they just stop bleeding,'
I miss my Father William, but crying every day won't bring him back to life now, will it? Don't think for a moment that I don't cry over him, that's not what I'm saying, I'm just stating the obvious.
I remember when he washed my hair one morning when I was too lazy to do it. He used a purple dye thinking it was my shampoo and washed my hair with it.
( don't ever let a guy go in your hair, you might end up regretting it).
When my dad just died, I locked myself in my room for two weeks. I didn't eat and I didn't bathe either. I only drank one or two cups of water when my Aunt was sleeping. Aunty Becca tried everything to get me out of my room, but nothing she said never worked. Until one day I started looking at some worded picture frames my aunt gave me when I moved in, I read a few of them until a particular one caught my eye.
It read: "Sometimes you have to let go, not because you don't want to hold on anymore, but because the thing you're holding on to doesn't want to be held anymore."
Reading those words helped me in getting over my father a little bit. All I have to do is just pull myself together because no matter how I feel, no matter how much I push people away, no matter if I stop eating William will still be dead and that's something I cannot change.
End of Charlie's POV
After an exhausting day at school, I finally got the chance to go home. For the fourth period, I had P.E, which I am not so good at but am not so bad at it either.
As I was walking through the hallway, I heard faint sobs coming from the girl's bathroom stall. I rushed inside the bathroom in one swift movement, I glanced at the thin girl in the corner of a wall crying and I was quite shocked to see that the person crying was Vicky.
"Are you okay?" Charlie asked in a soothing voice.
I watched Vicky tilt her head and hissed her teeth before she spoke up.
"Why would you care? I was rude to you during break time, so why are you acting so nice all of a sudden?" Vicky replied in a harsh tone.
"Well everyone deserves a second chance, don't they?" Charlie asked lightly.
"I guess you're right, am sorry about earlier; the only reason I lashed at you at lunch is because I got a call today that my parents won't be home until another 3 months, this might sound weird to say but I miss my parents, I haven't seen them for a while," Vicky stated, as she wiped her tears away.
"I know how that feels, don't you have any siblings though?" Charlie questioned out of curiosity.
" I am the only child for my parents, do you have any siblings?" Vicky asked back furiously.
"I do, we're twins actually," Charlie added, as she tried hard not to show any signs of emotion.
"That's so cute, are you guys identical? And is it a girl or boy?" Vicky asked with a grin.
"Aw thanks, yes we are identical. My twin is a boy," Charlie muttered with a small smile.
"Can I see a picture of him please?" Vicky asked unsure if she was being pushy.
"Sure," Charlie said before taking out her cell phone from out of her matey bag.
"Here's a picture with the two of us together," Charlie muttered before she showed the picture with Carter on her phone.
"You guys are so cute together, where's he? I'd love to meet him someday," Vicky replied dreamily.
"We don't live together anymore. Do you need a ride home?" Charlie asked, changing the subject.
"I'd love that, I live in Orange hill," Vicky mumbled.
"That's where I live too, I want to make dinner for my Aunt tonight, so we should get going now," Charlie said, as she walked off to where she had parked her car.
Fifteen minutes later, I was parked outside of Vicky's house, and it turns out that she only lived across the street from my house. Looks like I won't be alone in my big house alone after all. You should have seen Vicky's face when she saw my car, Vicky drooled and then when she saw my house her eyes bulged out of the socket hehe...
"I'll see you around Vicky I enjoyed today, maybe we could do it again, you know talk and reason," Charlie asked nervously.
"Yea sure I'd like that, maybe we could hang out at your house sometimes too. If your house is so beautiful on the outside, then the inside must be phenomenal," Vicky said with a squeal.
"I'd love to chat Vicky, but I got some cooking to do," Charlie said as she stuck out her tongue in a playful manner.
I quickly rushed up to my room and took a quick shower and then put on my favorite red sweat pants and a black tank top with some comfy red and black socks, lets just say I got a thing or two for matching my outfits.
I paced down the stairs into the kitchen, Several minutes after debating in my head on what to cook, I just settled with spaghetti and pepper sausages. And do the magic tricks in making it taste delicious as I always do. Since spaghetti doesn't take long to cook, I took out the ingredients that are used to make chocolate cookies. Then I went into the dining room to grab my phone to listen to music to make the place more fun. But as I was about to play some songs on my phone, I heard the doorbell rang. I hurried to the door and opened the door and was surprised to see that it was_______________________________

Your at the end of this chapter my lovelies
I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
If you wanna know who knocked on the door then you're gonna have to read chapter 6 to find out.
