Chapter 1 One

Violet Martin, 17 years old and her sister Victoria Martin, 25 years old were both orphans when Luca Martin, 45 found them at the back of an alley, shivering to death. Touched by the sight of the siblings, Luca, who works for the mobster took them both in and raised like his own.

"Where is your sister, Victoria?" Luca asked while he took a sip of the orange juice that Victoria had prepared.

"She's still inside her room. I did knock on her door earlier," Victoria pours a glass of orange juice for herself before she takes a seat at the dining table.

"I'm here," Violet announced herself before kissing her sister and adopted father forehead.

"Morning, Violet. Are you excited to start your senior year?" Luca asked his youngest daughter.

"Nope. Why would I even feel excited about school?" Violet pour herself a glass of orange juice and proceed to take a few pancakes for herself.

"I thought you said you're going to try dieting this year? What happened to that idea?" Victoria asked as she stifled her laughter.

"I decided that I like to keep my fat inside me. I love food and I like to eat so, dieting will only make me sick to my stomach," Victoria was shaking her head while Luca chuckled at Violet's response.

"Do you want to drive your brand new car?" Luca was eyeing his daughter who keeps shoving food into her mouth.

"I thought Tori will send me today or you," She said with her mouth full.

"I have some things to deal with while daddy was summoned by grandpa," Violet sigh heavily.

"Can I just walk to school? I mean it's not even that far," Luca place her fork down and stared his daughter right in the eye.

"What's wrong Vi? Why don't you want to drive to school? I thought you like your new car? We even pick the colors and all," Luca sense something is not right with Violet.

"I don't want to create unnecessary attention to myself. I really want everything to be as it is. There's no need for others to know that I am living with you, daddy," Luca sigh.

"Vi, don't tell me you still think that you're an embarrassment to the Martin name? I told you many times that grandpa doesn't mind at all. He loves you and Tori like his own granddaughter," Violet was stunned. She doesn't know how to respond to that.

Since she and her sister were found by Luca, these supposedly criminals did nothing to harm them or even used them for any kind of transaction. They followed their adopted father to his workplace and they were treated like royalty by the people who work for them.

"Daddy, we're blessed that you were the ones who passed that alley on that night. We both love you so," Violet nods as her sister said so.

"Good, now, drive that car I bought for you and don't ask many questions. It is your car. I even bought for your sister when she's in her senior year in high school. Of course, she wrecked that car a few times," Luca sigh.

"I thought I told you how sorry I am!" Tori pout while Luca and Violet laughed at her sister.

"Sure I'll drive. Maybe I just park the car at Audrey's house and we both can walk to school together," Luca shakes his head when he heard his youngest.

"As long as you don't lose it, I'm okay with anything," Luca smiled and handed the keys to her brand new car.

Violet took a couple more pancakes and shove it down her throat before she went to the driveway and went to her car. As she turning the engine on, her sister came running for her, screaming.

"What's wrong with you?" Violet asked her breathless sister.

"You moron! You forgot lunch money," Victoria banded a couple of 'green' at her sister before sending her sister off.

"Drive safely! Make good choices," she said rather to herself while waving at her sister.

Violet was having trouble driving her brand new car but she's slowly getting the hang of it. When she arrived at her best friend's house, she notices that Audrey was standing in her driveway, waiting for her.

Her eyes literally look like it's about to pop out from its sockets as Violet drive her car at her driveway.

"We're... going... to school... with that?!" Audrey was super excited before Violet got outa me lock her car and kept the keys in her bag.

"We're walking to school,"

"WHAT?! Why?! You have a gorgeous car right here!" Audrey desperately waving at the black Mercedes.

"Because I don't want to make unnecessary attention to myself. I wish to end my high school year with ease and drama-less," Audrey sigh. Seems like she wishes to ride this expensive looking car will be put on hold for now.

"Don't worry, after school, we'll go somewhere, alright?" Audrey beamed when she head her best friend promised her.

"Alright, let's go to school," Audrey grab a hold of Violet arms and lead her Vista Academy.

Violet and her friend Audrey entered their designated classroom and were glad to see their favorite teacher, Mrs. Johnson at the teacher's table.

"Yay! it's Mrs. Johnson! No more Mr. Lawrence and his crazy scheme to make us all fail our classes!!!" Audrey was jumping excitedly in front of their favorite teacher.

"Maybe I should change with Mr. Lawrence now that I know Audrey's in my class," Mrs. Johnson sigh playfully. Mrs. Johnson, 35, a young teacher with high hopes for her students.

Because of her friendly and never-give-up attitude, her students fond of her teacher and they actually like to learn because she provides such a motherly aura towards her student.

"Hey teach, who else in this class this year? I hope you choose students that actually nice to look at. Also, thank you for putting us in the same class," Audrey thanked the teacher.

"Who said I have the right to choose my students?" Mrs. Johnson asked. "Only the Vice Principal can do that," she added. Audrey immediately turned her head to Violet.

In her mind, she wonders if her adopted father did something to let them have the same class this year.

"Don't look at me, I don't know anything," Violet raised both hands. After they noticed a couple of students entered their classroom, they decided to take their seat before it's too late.

Both of them wish to have the seats at the very back of the class this term since last time, they were forced to sit in front of the class because of their former homeroom teacher, the despicable Mr. Lawrence.

"A lot of familiar faces this year. I am so happy we could be together with you though. That means I don't have to be alone," Violet chuckled at Audrey's words.

"Audrey, you took a nap on every single subject until the lunchtime bell rang, then you decided to wake up," Audrey stick her tongue out for her friend.

Violet was arranging her stationery and gets ready for their class when something sweet, lavender-like smell invading her nostril followed by a soft, melodious laughed coming from the front of the class.

"Oh shit! The very Queen is in our class?! This is going to be hectic!" Audrey obviously annoyed by the sound pollution that enters their classroom.

"Hey, be nice. She's actually quite friendly," Violet said, trying to hide the fact that she's actually been crushing hard on the perfect God's creation that's taking her seat at the middle of their classroom.

"Friendly, yes. I don't like her posse though, they're loud and annoying! Ugh! I can't even have a decent nap now," Audrey puffed her heel like a hamster before Violet poking it with her pencil.

"Don't be rude," Violet spoke before she glances at the beauty queen.

Gianna Vesper, 17 years old. She came from an average background family and has 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters that always gets into her nerve. Since she's the youngest in her family, they often overly protected her against all kind of danger, including Gianna's relationship.

At school, she's friendly and of course overly preppy for a high school student. She's also the cheerleader team captain and the president of their art club.

Her friends always wonder how can she manage her time, dealing with both cheerleading and her art club at the same time. For Gianna, her passion for arts is deeper than anything. She likes to paint, and appreciate arts in her free time.

She has a dream of opening her own gallery in the future as well. As she seated at her usual spot in the class, she can't help but notice a woman at the very back of the classroom that talking to her friend.

If she recalls correctly, her name is Violet. They were in the same art club the last term and Gianna actually took an interest in her views of the art.

"Gianna! I was asking if you're free tonight. Gwen is having a welcome-back-to-school party at her mansion. Wanna come? Should I pick you up?" Gianna turned to her friend, Hadley.

They had been friends since they were little.

"Tonight? I don't think I can come, I have to finish my art project. It's due next week," her friends were giving her the eye.

"Don't lie to us! We just started school today. How can you have an art project due?" Gwen, one of her friends and also a member of her cheerleading team.

"I took part in this contest. If I win, I'll get some amount of prize money and my art will be shown at the local art museum for weeks! You know it's been my dream to have my own gallery," their friends can't argue with that.

"Just a little bit? It won't belong. Come on, it's boring without the captain there," Gianna was having second thoughts.

"No, I'm sorry. I have to finish my art. If I manage to win, my art will be display for the VVIP's of this city! I want to expose my art more," Both Hadley and Gwen sigh in defeat.

They know it's futile to even consider asking for their captain's attendance if she has something she wants to do especially if it involves art.

"Who is the sponsor?" Gwen asked.

"Tori V," Gianna proudly announced.

***

"Finally! Luuunnnnnchhhhhh timeeeeee," Violet forcefully place her hand on Audrey's mouth before she's making a fool of herself.

"Tell me, why am I even friends with you?" Violet remove her hands and walk side by side with her friend. Audrey thinks of a few reasons why they're friends in the first place.

"I guess because you don't even have the courage to say hi to others? I mean, you've been alone for most of our elementary until I spoke to you at the playground where you read books like an adult. You should be lucky that someone as beautiful as I am even talked to you," Audrey turned her attention to the food counter.

"Lunch lady, what's the special today?" Audrey asked.

"I must say the exploding chicken pie, our newest lunch lady made it. Don't be wary of the looks, it's actually quite delicious. We also have this intriguing mushroom soup that supposes to look light brown, not green," both Violet and Audrey both disgusted by the soup.

"What's that?" Violet pointed at a beautifully decorated pastry.

"That's the display food,"

"I hate to admit that plastic food seems more delicious than actual food around here," Audrey sigh as she pointed at the chicken pie and mashed potato.

"What shall you have, love?" The lunch lady asked when Violet seems thinking of what to eat.

"The cake, and those egg tart, lots of them. Can I have your special drink," The lunch lady nod? After they paid for their food, they search for an empty table to sit on.

"Here we go again," Audrey breaths out when the cafeteria door was burst open by a group of jocks and cheerleaders making their way in.

"Be nice. As long as we don't give them the time of day, I don't think they will even care about us nobody," Violet lowly said as she noticed a group of cheerleaders walking behind Audrey.

"Violet? Right?" Violet glance up from her Gary to see the beautiful woman with the lavender-like scent speaking to her.

"I hope you'll be joining art club this year. Your work, it's really something else," this brunette actually talks to a nobody and it immediately made her friends turned to the person their captain spoke to.

"Gianna, why are you talking to someone like that?" Gwen asked rudely.

"Don't be rude, please. She was in my art club," Hadley covered Gwen's mouth before she could say anything.

"Don't say anything that might get you to kill, alright, just follow Gianna's lead," Hadley muttered at Gwen's ear before releasing her.

"What's wrong with you! We have a reputation to uphold. We can't be caught speaking to this fat girl," Hadley once again covered Gwen's mouth before forcefully dragged her away from the table.

"I'm really sorry for her rudeness," Gianna apologized. Violet gave the brunette a soft smile.

"It's okay. I've been called worse though," Violet chuckled but not her friend, Audrey.

"You better leash that bitch of yours before I make a scene. No ones, I mean no ones spoke to Violet like that. Don't you know who she..." before Audrey could finish her question, Violet shove one of her tarts into Audrey's mouth.

"I'm sorry. I think my friend forgot to take her shots again," Violet laughed it out but she glared at her friend. Gianna smiles and excuses herself. But before she leaves, she encourages Violet to stay in the art club because she thought that her talent can be widened even more.

After Gianna went back to her friends, Violet can't help but look at her friend in disbelief.

"You almost open your big mouth again!" Audrey swallows the tart that has been forced into her mouth.

"What? That Gwen chick is rude! She's not even that hot, to begin with!" For Violet, everyone on the cheerleading team is beautiful but none can surpass their captain.

"I don't need the whole school to know about daddy's job. I told you because you saw someone dragging a dead body out of my house," Audrey huffed.

"What's the point of having big shot mafia daddy if you don't even want to use his influence all over these ratchet people?!"

"Because Tori will kill me if I ever do that. She said to never use his name for personal gain purposes," Audrey sigh heavily.

"What's the point of having a daddy from the mob but you can't even use it?!" Audrey noticed that her light brown hair friend isn't paying any attention to her.

"You don't even be discreet about checking her out now. Don't lie to me Vi, you have your eyes on that cheerleader for quite some time now. Why not confess and deal with it already?" Audrey knows she shouldn't ask that kind of question but she did anyway.

She likes to make her friend annoyed with her.

"Because she has him, Mr perfect," Audrey turned her attention to a table not far from them and noticed the brunette that her friends have eyes on since junior high are smooching with me perfect aka, Richard Baron.

"Honesty, what does that chick even see in him when my friend over here is all she needs?" Violet sigh when her friend mocking her.

***

The first day of school is over and both Violet and Audrey were walking home from school when they both notice a couple of figures standing by Violet's brand new car.

"Hey! What are you doing to Violet's car?" Audrey asked her college student brother and his friends.

"This is your car Vi? Wow, sweet ride," Watson, 20 years old were admiring Violet's new ride as he came home from his college.

"You home early, don't tell me you skipping classes again!" Audrey was genuinely worried for her brother who likes to skip his classes.

"Audrey! I'm done with classes. You know how bad it was when dad found out I was skipping. I really don't want the same thing to happen again. Besides, we're all invited to this party tonight so we were planning to go there from here," both Audrey and Violet look at each other.

What party?

"You don't know? The host is this person named Gwen. My buds say she's kinda hot for a high school senior. She's huge in the right proportion," Watson was being too honest and that made Violet felt a little disgusted by his attitude.

"Whoa Vi! What's with the death stare?" Watson was genuinely frightened when he saw Violet intense orbs making holes in his soul.

"Nothing," Violet ignore her own feelings so nothing bad happened to her best friends brother.

"Hey, let's go. I did promise you a ride in my car," Violet searched for her keys and turn on the engine using its remote.

"It even has its own life?! Girl! I'm sure your dad just bought you transformer!" Audrey was too excited for her first ride in a Mercedes. She even threw her school backpack for her brother to catch as she tried to open the car door.

"Vi! Open the door for me," Violet laughed when she went to open the door for her friend.

"Hold on, where are we going?" Violet asked as they both inside the car.

"Movies? The mall? I know! I want to show off to those bitches from earlier!" Violet was shaking her head as she listened to her friend.

"To the movies, we go,"

They were on the road when reality crushing down to them. It turns out that everyone in their school was invited to the party except for them. To be honest, Violet likes things the way it is now rather than being the center of everyone's attention.

For Audrey, she knows her friends quite popular with the boys and girls. But she keeps on hanging out with her so that Violet doesn't feel any loneliness as a high school student. Being a teenager suppose to be fun Audrey said and she wishes that her friend have fun as well.

"Hey, isn't that Hadley, Gianna's co-captain?" Audrey pointed at one of the stores while they were parking.

"Yes, that's Hadley alright. What is she doing over there? Why is she going into an alley that's probably filled with drug addicts and pimps?!" Audrey pointed out.

Series of possible situation rushing into their minds until they saw something that they aren't supposed to see at all.

"Wait, she's selling drugs?! Isn't that one of your daddy's goons? Why is she taking those packets of drugs? We should take pictures! You know, for our personal use of something went wrong," Audrey was about to take her phone out when Violet shakes her head no.

"She's obviously in trouble. Do not add more problems," Violet got out from her car followed by Audrey. She's determined to find out what's going on herself.

Chapter 2 Two

Hadley, 17. Co-captain of Vista Academy cheerleading team and best friends of Gianna Vesper were waiting for a man she usually sees for quite some time now. She knows she's being discreet, she was careful so that no one would even track her down.

"Hadley, my dear. Back so soon? Don't tell me you finish your stocks already. You must need money huh?" Peter, one of the alleys well-known drug pusher in the city. He works for the Martin family, Violet's adopted father.

"Ugh! Just give me the stuff so I can sell it. There's going to be a party tonight. I'm sure the guest will have fun while partying tonight," Peter laughed at this teen girl nerve. It's his first time seeing such a bold girl before.

"You're alone right?" Peter asked just to be safe. Hadley nod while waiting for the things she needs to be put inside her bag. She was looking around so that no one would spot her transaction.

Little did she knows that a group of two girls spotted her easily while they were parking their car.

"Peter, what are you doing?" Peter froze when he heard the familiar voice coming from his behind.

"Miss Violet!" Peter quickly shove the drugs into Hadley's bag and face the daughter of his boss.

"Hadley, are you okay?" Violet asked as Hadley nod her head.

"I-m fine," Hadley stuttered, obviously don't know how to react to this. She never thought that the least expected person she will ever meet will be here.

"Peter, I hope you're not doing anything that might make Tori and daddy mad at you again. Don't you feel any regret after they found out about that hidden transaction a few months ago?" Violet's sure know how to push a button or two.

Hadley knows that there's no escaping from the truth once they meet. The teenage girl sighs heavily as she places her hand on Peter's shoulder.

"She knows" Peter sigh as well before looking down on the floor.

"I've been selling drugs to teenagers in your school, Miss. Hadley's father was my regular customer until he died and Hadley has been paying his debt to me by working for me," Violet can't believe what she heard coming from Peter's mouth.

"You didn't do anything to her right? I never thought of you to be this cruel, Peter. She's a teenager for God sake. What her father did never have anything to do with her! Didn't daddy teach you all that? Should I call grandpa so he can do something to you?" Peter's eyes widen when he heard 'grandpa'.

Howell Martin, 65. He was the most feared man, still is but after he let his only son, Luca take over the family business, he decided to reside in the most remote location he owns to escape from society.

Howell never thought that his son would even bring back two most precious human being that ever happened in his life. This ex-mobster will do anything so that his granddaughters can live their life normally but it's hard to live normally when both your adopted father and grandfather are well known in the underground.

"Please miss Violet, I'll do anything. If I'm in trouble again, Sir Luca will have my head," Peter begged his lady so none of this matter even reach Luca's attention. Violet hates herself when she felt pity while trying to act tough.

"How much is Hadley's debt to you?"

"She's been working for me over a year now. So, that makes it $1,200 in debt, Miss," Violet glance up at Hadley who avoided eye contact.

"I'll pay for her debt," Peter's eyes widen.

"No miss. I will never take your money. Miss Victoria will know and I'll be dead before I could even ask for help. Let's just forget about this. Hadley, I'm sorry for forcing you to be my pawn before," Peter forcefully took his drug from Hadley's bag and leave them hastily.

"You don't have to sell drugs anyway. I only help you because you're her friend and I hate to see her sad once she found out," Hadley was confused by what Violet said to her before leaving her alone in the alley.

"Did she mean Gianna? Or Gwen?" Hadley asked herself.

Violet and Audrey were walking to the cinema silently. After the things that happen, she doesn't know if there's a need to talk about it.

"VIOLET, AUDREY!" Hadley called out to both of the girls who excuse themselves earlier. When they turn, they noticed that the blonde cheerleader was running towards them.

"Gwen's having a party tonight. Wanna come? You just have to say that I was the one inviting you and I'm sure they will let you both in. It's the least I can do to pay you back," Hadley said while trying to keep her breathing even.

"Did you see that? I just sprint," Hadley chuckled at both of them. Violet and Audrey look at each other before nodding their head.

"We love to go," they both said in unison before inviting Hadley to the movies with them.

***

"Hey, Vi, why not we use your brand new car to the party? Come on, we can finally show them off! You're not the pathetic loser they all think you are, you're actually the daughter of a badass man!" Audrey tried to persuade her friend to think more selfishly.

Violet think for a moment or two about this before she finally made a decision.

"I think I will follow your advice just this one time. Since Tori obviously not home and my daddy is meeting with grandpa, I am free as a bird," Audrey smiled and thanked God her friend decided to be cool instead of being a boredom queen.

"So we just show our faces and tell the bouncer that Hadley invited us?" Violet asked again, just to make sure that's the plan.

"I guess so. Don't you ever go this kind of par-..." Audrey stopped midway when she realizes how anti-social her friend can be.

"The only party I ever went to is the leader's summit. Although, last year we all went to Budapest for it," Audrey groaned. She always envies Violet's freedom to travel anywhere in the world.

"You're lucky that Luca married a woman who really knows how to have fun," Violet smiled.

Auriana Martin, 39, is the second wife of Luca. After his first wife died from an illness, Luca met his second wife in one the leader summit that he was forced to take part in by both Victoria and Howell.

At first, they hate each other enough to send a group of assassins to kill each other. They had to thank both Victoria and Violet for their effort to bring them both together. Basically, they forcedly made them realized that they love each other deeply enough to keep on getting mad at each other.

"Wait, mommy's not home yet?" Violet shook her head no.

"I think Victoria said she'll be home this weekend together with daddy," Audrey nodding her head. Because of how often Audrey came to the Martin household, she literally adapts to call both of Violet's parents as mommy and daddy.

Both Luca and Auriana doesn't mind but they're glad that their youngest has a friend to spend time with.

"Let's go! I can't wait to party like there's no tomorrow,"

"But we have school tomorrow," Violet's beginning to think that it's a bad idea to go to a party on a school night. She's always the bookworm type of student and she always goes to sleep earlier than expected because she is just that lazy, to begin with.

"Stop having second thoughts! Now, let's get into the car and drive to Gwen's place! Where is that exactly?" Audrey asked while looking at her friends with a hopeful stare.

Violet shrugged her shoulder before getting into her car.

At Gwen's place, the first thing that they noticed was Audrey's brother, Watson and his friends actually hanging out with some of the cheerleading members from their school.

"I really don't want to imagine what kind of things they do behind closed doors," Audrey tried to remove the image from her mind.

So this is a party? Violet asked her herself.

Never once in her life that she was invited to a party like this before. Usually, the party she usually goes to end up either in a bloodbath or simply gang fight among leaders of the underground.

"Hey, that's your crush with her boyfriend," Audrey pointed out. Violet sigh before turning her attention to Gianna and her boyfriend not far from where they are.

Richard was sitting on the couch while Gianna sat on his lap, talking to some other group of friends. They seem happy together and Violet can feel how hurt it is to witness something this trivial to begin with.

"Hey! You came! I'm so glad! Thank you again for saving my ass before. I never would've having fun like I am now if you hadn't spotted me earlier," Hadley happily greeted them both before placing both her arms on Violet and Audrey's shoulder.

"So, want me to introduce you two to the cheerleading team?" Audrey beamed at the suggestion while Violet shaking her head no vigorously.

"Oh yes! Please introduce us to the cheerleading team!" Audrey chuckled while Violet gave her a death stare.

"Oh, come on Vi. You survive meeting the world most dangerous people. This is nothing!" Both Hadley and Audrey laughed but of course, Hadley has no idea what Audrey meant by that. It's just that funny in her ears.

"Hey guys, meet my new friends and saviors, Violet and Audrey," Gianna and her boyfriend Richard smiled at both of them.

"I'm Gianna, of course, you know that since we have the same art class," Gianna offered her hand to both Violet and Audrey. Violet was reluctant to touch the hand of her crush but Audrey smacks the back of her head.

"I'm Richard, Gianna's boyfriend," this beautiful man offered his hand to Audrey then to Violet. Violet looked at his hand before shaking his hand.

"Violet," Richard pointed at someone behind them. "That's my best friend, William. He is Gwen's boyfriend," Violet introduce herself to William. William was just being friendly to Violet when Gwen suddenly slapped her boyfriend's hand from shaking hands with Violet.

"I don't remember inviting you two losers to my party. I didn't even order that much food for you to eat," Hadley heard what Gwen said and wrapped her arms around Violet.

"She's my friend and I invited her to this party. Why? Any problem?" Gwen placed her hand on her waist and leaned into Hadley.

"Yes, this is not a losers party. I don't mind Audrey since she's popular but her, she's not invited. And besides, I don't want my food to be eaten by a monster like her," Gwen laughed and so does the rest of the guest who heard their host.

"Gwen that was rude of you," Gianna speak up while Richard nodding his head.

"Apologize, now!" Hadley was being serious but Violet know it's time for her to take action.

"It's alright. I get it. You don't have to fight among yourself. You all are on the same team. Audrey, you can stay. I'll pick you up tomorrow. Thanks again Hadley, I appreciate the gesture. Take care of Audrey for me," Violet smiled, not showing how hurt she was when someone commented on her figure.

It's not something that's unusual since she's been facing the same form of bullying since she was in elementary school.

"Violet! Don't go!" Hadley tried to stop the person who saves her life from leaving but it's futile. Hadley face her friend, fuming.

"You bitch! What is going on in that thick brain of yours?! If you must know, that person who you called as a loser, she's the one who fucking saves me! SHE FUCKING SAVES ME!" Hadley yelled, leaving every guest astounded by her voice even though the music blasting through the roof.

"I'm out. If you see her as a loser, that means you see me as one as well. She's my friend, I hate to see my friend gets humiliated by people like you," Hadley grabs Audrey's wrist and dragged her out of Gwen's mansion.

"What just happened?" Gwen asked Gianna who's disappointed at her friend's behavior as well.

"I don't even want to come here tonight since I have an art project to finish. Let's go home Richard," Richard nod and leave both Gwen and William.

That action made Gwen realized she went o far this time.

***

"Violet! Wait!" Violet was about to get into her car when Hadley and Audrey called out to her.

"What's up, guys? Why are you two out of breath?" Violet asked, weird to see these two are here rather than having fun at the party.

"Whoa! This is your ride? Now I am positive you're the daughter of Lu-..." Violet covered Hadley's mouth before she could finish it.

"It's taboo to call her that in public. She wishes to have a drama-less senior year," Audrey explained.

"Hey, guys! This party suck. Let's get something to eat?" Violet was speechless when Gianna suddenly appeared behind them.

"Whoa, nice ride. Care that I test drive it?" Richard asked as he admiring the car. Violet has no idea if she should just be friends with that guy or let her daddy kill him for good. Gianna seems happy with him and she doesn't want her crush to get sad for his loss.

What am I thinking? She said mentally before throwing the keys to him.

"Knock yourself out," they all get inside the car and leave Gwen's home with Richard driving.

"Actually, where are we going exactly?" Richard asked as he drives.

"How about Violet's home. I'm sure she has a lot of food waiting for us," Audrey smirk. Before Violet could disagree, everyone decided to rally on her until she has no say in this. She curses Audrey for being annoying.

"Where is your house?" Richard asked.

"Gypsy Estate," Richard can't believe his ears when he heard that name.

"Wait, for real? You live in Gypsy Estate?! That's like, where all those criminal bosses live at!" Richard then realized something. Violet ignore Richard's points and just look at the road ahead of them.

"That's my house," Richard stopped the car when a couple of guys in suits appeared in front of the gate. Violet told Richard to open the windows for her.

"Is that you Miss Violet?" Asked one of the bulky men.

"Yes. Can you open the door? I'm here with friends," the man gasped.

"OPEN THE GATE! MISS VIOLET BRINGING HOME SOME FRIENDS WITH HER!" If only Violet could bury herself alive right now. The guards are acting anxious once they heard that their anti-social boss is having friends over.

"Boys! Be in your best behavior! We can't embarrass Miss Violet like we did with miss Audrey. We're lucky that miss Audrey even stayed by Miss Violet side all this year," the guards muttered at each other.

"Oh! Is Tori home?" The bulky man shakes his head no.

"But there is someone waiting for you in the house. You just have to wait and see I guess," the bulky man winked at her boss.

***

"Hello?" Violet called out when she entered her own home.

"Vi, this is your own home," Audrey gesture her hands when she heard her friend being a weirdo. Audrey suddenly noticed a figure sitting at the living room as they walk through the foyer.

"Violet? Is that you?" A voice was heard coming from the living room. To Violet's surprise, it was her mother, Auriana.

"Mommy? I thought you and daddy will come home together this weekend," Violet went to her mother and hug her from the side since they haven't met for months now.

"I'm sorry, I should call or inform the maids but I just can't help it. My daughter is a senior now. Gosh, how time fly," Auriana didn't notice that her youngest had brought home a couple of friends excluding Audrey.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought Audrey was alone. You see, my daughter is not quite the sociable one," Auriana stood up from the couch and smiled at her guest.

Hadley, Gianna, and Richard were astounded by the beautiful woman standing in front of them. Auriana removes the strands of her wavy blonde hair from her eyes before offering her hands.

"I am Auriana, Violet's Mother. I think I haven't met you all yet," Auriana shakes hands with Gianna.

"I am Gianna. Violet and I are in the art club last term. But this year we started as classmates," Gianna introduced herself. The cheerleader was bewildered by how young this woman looks.

"I am Richard, Gianna's boyfriend," He smiled before taking Auriana's hand.

"I am Hadley," Hadley smiled at the beautiful milf.

"I'm Audrey, mommy," Auriana laughed at Audrey's antic. This girl always tries to annoyed everyone with her joker attitude.

"I thought you all went to a party, it's only 9 pm," Auriana turns to Violet. She noticed how her daughter's expression changes.

"Did something happened, honey? You look sad, want mommy to prepare some of your favorite food?" That took Violet's interest.

"Well, we kinda want to eat, that's why we came home. If you don't mind that is," Auriana smiled. She knows she can't turn down her daughter's request. She likes to cook for her family.

"Roast chicken with my famous homemade lemon sauce with rice?" Violet nod vigorously. Auriana laughed, messing her daughter's brown hair.

"Okay. I'll call everyone when it's done. How about you show your friends around the house?" Auriana kiss Violet's forehead before she went to the kitchen Audrey smirk when she offers herself to help Violet's mother.

Violet knows that her friend is going to tell her mother everything.

"Audrey, that's so kind of you, follow me please," Auriana knows better than to believe that this girl is going to help her.

"So, what's up? There is a gossip you wish to tell me?" Auriana asked when they're alone at the kitchen.

"Violet has brought her crush home, don't you see it?!" Auriana was skeptical.

"Really now, which one?" Auriana asked.

"Well, Gianna of course," Auriana was surprised but the revelation. How can her daughter having a crush with a woman who has a boyfriend?!

Chapter 3 Three

Richard Baron, 17. He is the boyfriend of Gianna Vesper and before he even met Gianna, he was known as Vista Academy famous quarterback and ladykiller. Even the nerdiest of the nerd, goth of the goth and model student swoon by his charms. But, only Gianna manage to open his heart to love someone purely. At the moment, Hadley, Gianna and himself are walking inside the home of the notorious mobsters he heard so much from his father and brother who works for the police. To think he even has the chance to meet Auriana, the second boss of the city notorious gang was beyond his own imagination.

"Wow... so this is your personal art room?" He heard Gianna's excited tone whenever they're near anything art related. "Gianna, tone down your excitement," he chuckled. He knows that his girlfriend wishes to be an artist. To have a gallery of her own is her dream after all. "This room belongs to my mother. But, since she's busy all the time because of work, my sister and I use it sometime. But, every single painting that was hanging in this room were painted by my mother. Talented right?" Richard, who's not fond or rather doesn't anything about art gasped at the beautiful paintings on the walls. This is the side of a mobster he seldom heard off. "Your mother is one talented lady. She's your real mother?" Violet chuckled at Gianna's question. "Oh no, my sister and I were found by the master of this house years ago. We're orphans, the master and his first wife was the one who took us in," Gianna immediately feel bad for asking such a question.

"It's fine. Don't worry about it. Shall we proceed to another room?" Gianna and the rest nod and followed Violet out from the art room. Before she stepped her foot out, she notices a painting that reminds her of someone when she read the tag. "Tori V? Wow, she is famous," she said to herself. As they were walking past the indoor swimming pool, Hadley can't ignore the fact that she heard voices coming from it. "Violet, who's inside the indoor swimming pool?" Violet was weirded out since her sister is not home from her work yet. "I have no idea. You heard voices?" Violet asked Hadley back before she opens the door that leads to the indoor swimming pool. Much to her surprise, a group of naked ladies was swimming in the pool while the others just laying on the pool lounge chair. "MISS VIOLET!!" One of them noticed their boss walking in with... friends. They all gasped. "Miss Violet, you... you finally brought friends home?! Miss Violet... we're so happy for you!!" A couple of them literally cry at the sight of their boss finally found some friends. Violet wishes she could just bury herself from his embarrassment. "Guys, don't embarrass me! Geez!" Violet muttered at them. Gianna, Hadley, and Richard chuckled at how they care for Violet's anti-social trait. "This is my first time seeing someone cry from having friends home," Hadley joked. Violet can't contain her embarrassment anymore. "I'm sorry if I ask such question by, why are you all here without any clothes?" Gianna asked one of the women who came to hug Violet. "You mean why we're skinny dipping? I thought that's the way to swim," Hadley and Gianna look at each other before facing Richard who trying hard to look away.

"Sorry, most of them are working as a hostess in my sister's club. They like to come here and ... expose their body for the guards out there, see," Violet pointed at the other side of the indoor swimming pool and noticed a couple of male guards standing by the windows with their binoculars at hands. The ladies chuckled. "That's the only way to find more men to seduce and bring more business for the boss's club," Hadley can't believe how innocent they sound like. They can't ignore the facts that they're all beyond beautiful. No wonder they're hostesses. "Well, carry on then," Violet waved at the ladies before leading her newly found friends out of the indoor pool. "Ugh, that was hard!" Richard sighs heavily as Gianna cracking her knuckles. "I see... you were looking at something, huh," Richard shook his head vigorously. But he did say something and it's huge. But he knows too well to never let that affect her feelings for Gianna. "And this is the last tour, my father's flower garden. Of course, it's too dark to see now that this garden has the rarest of the rare flowers in the world. He also has a greenhouse, it's right over there," Gianna and Hadley were astounded by the night scenery. "You father plant everything himself? Wow, he's quite the green thumb huh," Violet nod when she heard Gianna's admiration.

"He likes gardening, that just it. He said that if my sister and I feel sad or lonely, just come to the garden and he'll be there. These flowers, he grew them himself, his spirits are here," Hadley was touched. "Hey, guys! Food's ready. Come on!" Audrey called out for her friend and the guest. "Oh yay! Come, my mother world famous lemon sauce is to die for. I'm sure you all will like it, it's one of my favorites," Violet excitedly lead her new friends to the dining hall. *** "Wow, ma'am! This is delicious!" Auriana chuckled when her daughter's friends enjoying the food she prepared. "Please, call me Auriana. No need to be so formal," both Gianna nod Hadley nod their head but not Richard. He knows better than to call the wife of a mob by her name. "Richard was it? I can't help but be familiar with you. Did we meet anywhere before?" Richard shakes his head no. He knows that she met his father and brother, that's why his face seems familiar to her. "Really? I could've sworn to see you somewhere before. Anyway, enjoy your meal, okay? I'm going to take a shower before heading to bed. You all are welcomed to stay overnight, I know Audrey will," Auriana winked at Audrey as she gave her a thumbs up. "Oh, we don't want to suppose by staying overnight. We could just walk home later on," Gianna suggested when Auriana retires for the night. "Walk? Gianna, we're at Gypsy Estate! We're all the way in the hills of Vista now," Hadley opposed the idea of walking home.

"Well, I can send you all home myself. Since my mom's home, we can use her limousine. But if you wish to stay the night, we have a couple of guest bedroom ready for ...," before Violet could finish her words, Victoria made herself known by walking past the dining hall. "Oh, hey Vi, Audrey... and .... hold on, you brought friends home?!" Victoria's eyes widen at the sight of a couple of new faces. Her fingers were trembling as she can't believe that her anti-social sister brought friends home. "OH, MY GOD! TORI V!" Victoria was even more surprised when one of her sister new friends know the other name that she uses for criticism. "Wait, you know me? How?" Gianna was gasping for air when she met one of world famous young art critic! "Of course I do! You're the sassy critique who will spot every single flaw in every single work of art! You're like a goddess in the art world. Violet, your sister is awesome!" Violet chuckled when someone called her sister Sassy. Victoria ignore the comment when her wages darted down on the dining table. "Wait, the scent of this homemade lemon sauce, mommy's home?!" Violet nod her head. Victoria was applauded by the news and decided to leave again but it was too late when Auriana walks down the stairs, walking towards her eldest daughter.

"Well, well, look who's finally home. Miss me, Tori?" Victoria gave her mother a sheepish smile. "Mommy... well, I do miss you, hug?" Auriana crosses her hand on her chest while staring at her daughter. "Tori, we need to talk in private, come," Auriana turned her heels and lead the way to the study room. Victoria glances at her sister and mouthed 'help me' before she followed her mother's footstep. "What was that?" Hadley just had to ask. "Well, last week, my sister was a guest star in this variety show, I'm not sure what happened but she told the whole world that our mother is a sadist woman. That's why they're having a private talk right now," Hadley and Richard were surprised but not Gianna. She actually blushed! Hadley noticed how Gianna's body language changes when they heard the word sadist. She always knew that her friend is a sadistic woman but she swore that no one should know about her wild side. Hadley was having trouble controlling her laughter from coming out because Gianna keeps sending her glare at her friend. "Something wrong, Hadley?" Violet asked when she noticed that her guest seems to be hiding something. "Oh, it's nothing. Turns out I have to go home. Will it be okay if you send me home later? I think I shouldn't be walking alone while passing through this estate," Violet nod her head.

"What about you guys?" Violet turned to Gianna and Richard who's done eating. "We're going home as well. Sorry for the intrusion," Gianna tried as hard as she could to conceal her true nature from popping out especially in front of her boyfriend. She hates it when this urges suddenly came rushing through her system but she can't change the fact about herself for the sake of one. She knows that she bound to lashes out sooner or later. "Alright, if you're done, we can go now," Violet smile before she misses her friends at the front entrance. Audrey decided to stay back and wait for Violet in her room. "We're going home... in a limousine?! No way!" Violet chuckled as she opened her door to her new friends. "Yes, way. Please, get in," Violet smiled. *** The news of yesterday moment where Hadley yelled at Gwen for mistreating Violet went like wildfires at school the next morning. Both Violet and Audrey can feel everyone's staring at them for something they don't even know. "Look at that! That's the girl who made Gwen got yelled at," Violet sigh as she heard the students have been talking bad about herself. This is far from what she imagined it to be for her senior year. "This is far from having a drama-less senior year huh," Audrey chuckled, clearly bemused by what's happening right now. "And here comes another drama towards us," Violet glance up to see Hadley running towards them. "Hey! Thank you for yesterday. My mother was weirded out when a limousine sends me home yesterday," Hadley laughed it off before squeezing herself in the middle of Violet and Audrey.

"So, you mind if I walk with you to class? We're classmate after all," Violet beginning to think that helping Hadley yesterday was a big mistake. If she decided to hang out with both Violet and Audrey, problems bound to happen whether they like it or not. "Hadley, seriously? Come here," they froze when Gwen leaning her back against one of the lockers. "Hey Gwen, do you have something to say to Violet?" Gwen sighs heavily. She hates it how her friend always forced her to do something she hates. "I'm sorry... that you were born as a loser," Gwen laughed before she leaves for the classroom. Violet was unfazed by it since she been called worse than that. "That girl! Honestly, she has such a thick head! I'm sorry about that. Even after I yelled at her, she refuses to apologize," Hadley sigh. Violet was wondering why does Hadley are so infatuated for Gwen to apologize to her. "If she says the L word ever again, my fist will be inside her mouth the next time I met her," Audrey was being serious. She hates to see her friend being labeled so. Violet was taken aback when she came across both Gianna and Richard by the classroom door, kissing as if they're the only one around. "Ugh, you guys, get a room," Hadley was annoyed by the sight. Gianna pulled away from Richard with a smile on her face. It hurts Violet that this man manages to make her this happy. If only she gave me a chance, she said mentally. "Don't feel sad, Vi, I'm sure someday, your feelings will get what it deserves. She's not the only one in this world," Audrey muttered to her friend. Violet nod before she enters their classroom. The first period went on without any problem. It was until the second period that a familiar face suddenly appeared by my classroom door. It's the academy's principal, Mr. Hack. "Miss Martin, please follow me outside for a moment. I'm sorry for the disturbance, this won't take long," Mr. Hack apologizes for the intrusion when she called for Violet to see him outside. Did I do something that against the academy rule? Violet asked herself as she was excused to see the principal.

"Mr. Hack? Am I in trouble, sir?" Violet asked when she closes the classroom door. Mr. Hack sigh before he shows a piece of paper to Violet. Violet skimmed reading the paper and was shocked. "I did what?! No sir, I never do such thing. There's no way I'll be this mean, you know how I am," Violet expressed after she read the whole paper. "I know miss Violet. There's no way indeed, but, this claim has a couple of witnesses. As you can see here," Mr. Hack pointed at the very bottom of the paper. "I'm sorry miss Violet, you have to see me at my office after school. I'm going to give you an official letter regarding your a week suspension from school," Violet was utterly surprised by the principal decision. "But sir! I didn't do anything to hurt Gwen! It's all a lie! As you can see, she's inside that classroom, laughing with her friends!" Mr. Hack was surprised. He entered the classroom again to see that Gwen wasn't in the room. "Miss Violet, I don't think it's wise to lie to me after you've done such thing to your own classmate. I mean, you've broken her car window, injuring the student! That's unacceptable even if you're the daughter of Luca and Auriana," Mr. Hack sigh. "Meet me after school, Miss Violet," he patted her shoulder before leaving her dumbfounded in the middle of the hallway.

***

"Gwen, why did you do that? You lied and you even asked William to lie with you. She didn't even do anything hurtful to you, why would you tell the principal he hurt you? She got suspended because of that and it's only the second day of school!" Hadley confronted Gwen when she knows that Violet was accused of being aggressive towards a student. "She's hogging my friends away from me. Hadley, you were screaming at me yesterday. You never do that before, that hurts!" Hadley can't believe what she's hearing. The person who never done anything wrong was blindly accused of being aggressive got suspended because of this little trivial thing! She can't believe how shallow Gwen can be. "Richard, can you believe this? She just got herself in trouble and she's worried about that!" Richard sighs heavily. "You really don't know what you've done, huh? Violet is not someone you should mess with. Yesterday, we went to her house..." Richard was abruptly interrupted by Gwen's laughter. "Why would you all went to that loser's house?! Did it crumbling down when you all enter it? I hope you pay for damages, Richard," she continued to laugh.

"She lives in a mansion with guards guarding its entrance 24/7. She sent us home using the limousine since her mother came home early from her business trip. We even had dinner after she requested her mother to cook for us. Let me tell you this, Gwen, her mansion has a room made of gold, where her mother uses for bathing. Do you have a room made from pure gold?" Gwen was speechless. She never thought that the person she despises live in luxury. Now she's curious about her parent's background. "You two are lying. No one richer than I am in this academy. My dad owns the biggest law firm in this city damn it!" Both Richard and Hadley look at each other before sighing hard. "Violet parent's are the bosses of this city notorious gang. She's from the Martin family and from what my dad and brother had told me, the Martin is one badass gang that has no fear of anything including your dad's law firm!" Richard revealed the truth about Violet.

"Basically, they owned this city from the bottom to the top. From the little gangs in this city to this city's leader, they have them all wrapped up nicely on their fingertips. If you don't believe us, you can ask your dad. I'm sure he knows about the Martin," Gwen's legs betrayed her when she heard what her friends told her. "I'm... screwed huh?" Richard and Hadley nod her head. "You should apologize and take back that nonsense complain from the principal. If Violet parents know what you've done, your life will be over before you can say I'm sorry," Richard was being damn serious about it too. He could only imagine what kind of plans the Martin has planned for ruining Gwen's life. "Guys, help me! What should I do?! I don't want to ruin my dad's firm! He'll kill me himself!" Gwen begged for her dear life. "Well, first, you have to meet the principal. Second, you have to meet Lady Auriana, Violet's mother. I don't think Sir Luca is home and I'm sure Tori's busy with her work as well. I can help you but you have to promise me something," they all turned to Audrey who was listening to their conversation. "Anything!" Gwen was desperate.

"Be Violet's slave for 2 weeks. Then I can persuade lady Auriana to keep your life spare," Audrey smiled. This is the perfect moment to make use of someone's misery for her own gain. "Also, you, William, Gianna, Richard and Hadley, the school famous athletes in this academy, will have to sit with us for lunchtime until the day of our graduation. I'm planning to make Violet experience the beauty of being a senior. If I hear more of that 'loser' word, I'll swear, you all will be done for, got that?" Audrey smirk, happy even that this is happening. She has a plan for her friend and it seems like it's working out perfectly.
