Chapter 1 I'm Being Followed How Sad!

Ten years ago, Amelia Williams witnessed the genocide of her family members and twenty seven of her family's workers.

She fled after being sighted, the name of the man who committed the act deeply ingrained in her heart.

Now 21, she returns to her hometown determined to bring justice her own way to the murderer of her family and the workers.

....

The wine cellars suddenly fell off with a loud thud frightening the workers present.

With shaky legs, one of the workers walked to the wall where the wine cellars previously was-stuck on the wall was an arrow with a white paper attached to it's head.

The paper read: "Your master is lying dead on his bed upstairs, inform the others before it stinks!"

Accompanied with the write-up was the infamous red butterfly, without a word, the worker fell backward and fainted.

Faraway, on the roof of a skyscraper, a redhead peered into her binoculars and tsked!

She didn't have the time to watch the activities as her watch beeped. Almost immediately, her phone rang.

"Uncle Dan!" She squealed excitedly, quietly packing up her instruments in a quick, noiseless manner.

Her hands moved so fast, that the event of her folding the instruments into smaller shapes could not be captured. Afterwards, she threw them into her school bag.

"Where are you Amelia or should I say Felicity?" A man's deep voice came from the other end. Apparently, he was Uncle Dan.

Staring down at the hundred foots below her, Amelia scrolled through her wristwatch. She stabilized her breathing before replying: "At the restroom Uncle Dan."

"At the restroom? Which restroom?" Uncle Dan asked from the other side.

Amelia rolled her eyes, finally she said: "In school Uncle Dan. Ask my classmates, I had cramps earlier this morning and needed to go to the restroom. I'm still suffering from it tho"

Raising her hands to her head, she dived down-falling off the skyscraper.

Down on the ground, an invisible object suddenly buzzed on. It's eyes accurately catching the falling object from the sky.

Flying up in a split second, it trapped her into the car and returned back to the ground.

On the phone, Uncle Dan who had no idea what just happened, said: "Amelia, are you lying to me? Accept you skipped school and face your punishment. I promise not to be hard on you"

Amelia who now looked a little disheveled, smoothened her hair before saying, "I'm in the restroom Uncle! My cramp seems to have reduced a little. I'll be out in the next ten minutes"

"The next ten minutes? Ha! You'll be s dead meat if I don't see you in school before then!" He snapped and hung up.

Throwing the phone to the space beside her, Amelia stared towards the empty driver's seat and snapped, "I don't know how you're gonna do it but we need to be in school before the next ten minutes oo we'd be smoked!"

An interface appeared on the Car's windscreen. An emoji appeared after it turned on.

"Ha! We'd be smoked, no you'd be smoked!" The emoji angrily retorted, instantly the car seemed to be turned on and slowly, it made its way out of the tightly packed line of cars. Afterwards, it sped off.

Hearing it, Amelia shrugged with a smile, "Oh yeah, only humans can be smoked"

The emoji's originally distorted face became uglier. "this is all your fault Amelia. If you had made me look like a human we wouldn't be having this conversation!"

Being satisfied with her look in the mirror, She casually leaned backwards and provoked it further. "At least you get to be with me all the time."

The emoji was too annoyed by the narcist behavior, it chose to be quiet. In the blink of an eye, the car invisible car which now had a White color parked outside the College.

Glancing at the time, she breathed in a sigh of relief seeing they had arrived in seven mi minutes, "Look around. Spot Uncle Dan and where his men are all stationed."

"They're everywhere, seems he knew you were out of school" The emoji tried after roving it's bug eyes about.

"Drive further and drop me off, then create a distraction"

.....

A middle aged man stood majestically a little far from the female restroom. He stood at a distance that made it look less suspicious.

Flicking his wrist over, he smiled seeing the time on his wristwatch. He now fixed his eyes wholeheartedly at the direction of the restroom.

The females walking in and out stared weirdly at him. Soon, there was a commotion outside.

Walking a little further out, he saw the cause for the chaos. Apparently, it was a Porsche which was circling around the school, whoever it was inside even volunteered to cycle some of the students for a while.

While the students were caught up in the fun, a figure quietly made her way to the female restroom.

The man scoffed then turned around. He walked back to his previous position.

"Seen her?" He asked through his earbod, apparently speaking to his subordinates.

"No sign of her sir" the men all replied respectively.

Picking his phone, he dialled her number but then hung up hearing the sound of slow but unhurried footsteps.

Raising his head, he saw a pale looking Amelia. He was 50% doubtful in his heart.

"Uncle Dan" Amelia called weakly, smile gracing her pale face, "I need to visit the hospital"

Uncle Dan stared quietly at her for some seconds, watching her walk to him. He only sighed when she stood directly opposite him.

Stretching his hand, he stroked her hair, "Let's go as soon as possible"

By the time they walked out, the Porsche seemed to have gotten rid of. Dan didn't think much of it as he thought the school's principal had probably chased it away.

Beside him, Amelia coughed out slightly and lowered her head. Then quietly popped a pill into her mouth.

Chapter 2 Her Trauma Resurfacing

"Gregor?" A green eyed girl called walking into a room. The room looked dark, turning her phone light, she spotted the figure curled up on the bed.

"Gregor" her voice cracked, walking closer she saw someone else on the bed, Gregory, who looked very identical to Gregor.

Seeing the panic on their sister's face, the two laughed out.

"Why do you look so scared Felicity?" Gregor asked turning on the light.

Felicity shivered. In a haste, she threw herself at them, loud sobs disturbing the serene night.

The boys glanced at each other, shrugged, then held her tighter.

"I...promise we'd grow old together?" Felicity muttered choosing not to tell them about the numerous nightmares she had been having.

"Of course you silly little girl" The two said simultaneously.

Felicity nodded, then withdrew. She stared at them intently but something suddenly felt wrong. They were both putting on their signature smiles, non moving.

"Gregor? Gregory?" She called out nervous. She stretched her hands to touch them but then heard a familiar name.

Turning around, she fled out of the house, the figure in hot pursuit of her.

.....

"Amelia...Amelia!" Uncle Dan called nervously, shaking the petite looking figure curled on the bed.

Amelia awoke with a jerk. She threw a glance at Dan, then stood up and headed for her balcony.

She took out a pack of cigarette she had grabbed on her way out. Tore it open and took It out with shaky hands.

"Maximus Brugel" she spat out with Venom. Shutting her eyes, tears involuntarily fell.

"I'm heading back to New York under the name Felicity Winter" Dan who had followed her out, nodded. Stared at her for some minutes, then turned around and exited the room.

No sooner had he left the room did he heard the sound of things being snatched. Angrily, he balled his fists and walked out angrily.

Back at the balcony, Amelia lowered herself onto the floor, sobbing as she smoked.

"I wonder how it feels smoking?" Her little petite voice flooded her ears.

Hearing her, her two elder brothers felt alerted. They both left their respective works to the sitting room where she sat watching the TV.

"Felicity, Smoking is really bad for the health." Gregor said.

"Health officers says smokers are liable to die young" Gregory chirped.

Little Felicity didn't seem convinced. There was a trace of mischievousness In her eyes, seeing she wasn't going to compromise, Gregory added: "Smokers die young, we won't grow old together if you smoke when you're grown up"

Little Felicity now seemed convinced and she boldly cancelled the word, Smoking in her mind out.

"Well...here we are" She muttered coming out of her reverie, a bitter smile gracing her lips.

Picking the cigarette, she sighed angrily finding out she'd smoked out the entire stick.

Groping her way back to her bedroom, she resigned once again to her bed.

Feeling her phone ring beside her bedside, she stretched out her right hand.

"Amelia, You're really coming back?" A nervous voice asked from the background.

Amelia's lips curled up, obviously mocking the person on the line. Sitting up, she asked: "You sound disappointed. Are you?"

"No...of course not.. what I mean is you've been away for so long so..." The voice paused.

"It's better I stay" Amelia completed.

The man at the other end laughed out nervously. "You said it yourself"

Amelia, lowered her eyes hiding the her now glassy eyes, bit down on her lips until she tasted something salty.

Getting on her feet, she walked towards her wardrobe, a hand keeping her phone glued to her right ear while the other groped around the dresses.

"Wait for me at the airport. A minute late and you'd be fired" she muttered coldly. She seemed in the mood to play, so she didn't hang up.

"When would you arrive?" The man although angry, asked in a meek voice.

"I'd advice you to head there immediately. If you're a minute, no a second late, I'll ruin you!"

In a Luxuriously decorated Villa.

A middle aged man angrily flings his phone away. The phone meets head on with a wall and breaks into two at the impact.

"That little bitch!" He roared getting on his feet.

The servants around stared disdainfully at him, but continued with their work.

The man of course caught the look of disdain in their eyes but could do nothing. Angrily, he stomped up to his room.

Minutes later he descended back and headed straight to the garage.

Immediately he left, One if the maids straightened up. "Amelia is returning. What a good news"

Others around also stopped working. A blonde sighed, "She must have grown bigger now. Only seen her in pictures"

"Dan sent a picture now. Seems Amelia dyed her hair red." Another worker said taking out her phone.

The rest swarmed to her side.

"What did you do to your hair?" Dan's surprised voice rang out.

Apparently, Amelia seemed like she just left the hair saloon.

The girl who had on an oversized shirt and a baggy and was already halfway up the stairs, her hands deep into her pockets, stopped.

Turning around, her signature naughty smile hung on her lips.

"Uncle, don't you like it?"

The video which seemed to be taken at an angle and had been kept on Amelia, suddenly shifted to a side. Dan's side.

"No of course not. What I'm trying to say is, your school prohibits such hair colors" he said, holding on to a lame excuse.

Amelia chuckled, "it's prohibited among the students doesn't mean I can't do it"

Then, she turned around and ascended the stairs. Dejectedly, Dan sat on a chair nearby then snapped his head to the direction of the camera.

"Alright that's enough, turn off your camera and make a call to Amelia's college threatening them to pressure Amelia into redying her hair black!" He snapped.

"Really? She's gonna kill me and besides, it's lame. The. School. Is. Has. And I doubt the principal is ready to loose his job"

Chapter 3 Murder In Her First Day In School

"Sup bro" A brown head boy called out walking into a department hall.

He sat directly opposite another boy who had his head lowered onto his desk.

Seeing the guy didn't budge, the boy reached out a finger and poked the other.

The other boy jerked up. He raised his eyes and seeing it was someone he was overly familiar with, relaxed.

He straightened up and relaxed on his chair. His handsome face seemed to have attracted a lot of attention as everyone's eyes diverted to him, temporarily putting their ongoing conversation on a hold.

"Did you hear? A transfer student would be coming today" the brown head boy said.

The other guy simply nodded, staring disinterestedly into space.

His friend got the hint instantly-He wasn't interested in such things.

The brown head boy opened his mouth about to say something but stopped seeing everyone's attention deviate towards the door.

Out of curiosity, he too turned around to see what was going on.

He was instantly dumbstruck. Standing at the door was someone who looked rebellious, a girl who looked extremely rebellious which her long flowing red hair didn't fail to portray.

"Hey class, I'm Felicity Winter and I'm gonna be your coursemate from today henceforth. I detest noise, and I hate nosy people. I have some rules which you all MUST abide. Firstly, never call out my name unnecessarily. If you do, the punishment would be really severe. I haven't thought of the other rules but until then do well to avoid me!" Amelia's voice rang out sternly.

The whole class was as quiet as a graveyard. The aura the girl had with her was surprisingly suppressing.

"Good students"

Under the careful eyes of everyone, she slowly made her way to her desk. Frowning she glanced coldly at the girl in her seat.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry" the girl muttered and fled the seat instantly.

Amelia sighed and sat down, placed a hand on her desk and used it to support her head.

Soon, a teacher walked in and the class began. Throughout the class, Amelia had her head lowered. There was no book in sight neither did she seem to be listening.

"Felicity Winter doesn't seem to be following your class Sir" A voice rang out. The whole class tilted their heads to confirm the sentence.

Even under such scrutinizing gaze, Amelia didn't deem it fit to lift her head.

"Felicity Winter can you recount a little out of what I've said here?" The teacher, Mr Brooks, asked.

Earlier on, the Principal had summoned all the teachers and asked them to be subtle on the new girl. He had no problem with it as he thought the girl looked weak and might be suffering from some sought of ailment.

He was extremely pissed off sighting her red hair but could say nothing as the principal didn't treat it as a big deal.

Now seeing the girl purposely letting her mind wander in his class infuriated him the more! He had asked from his few prestigious friends if they knew any influencial family which bore the name but the answer had been the same. None.

Three minutes, five minutes and still no reply from Amelia. She kept her head lowered like tho in a trance, it didn't even seem like though she still breathed.

"Detention for you Amelia!" He furiously yelled and only then did mutter an 'ok'.

It infuriated Mr Brooks and angrily he stormed out of the classroom. Only then did Amelia raise her head, a sinister look in her eyes.

"Xander, isn't she weird?" The brown head boy whispered to his friend.

Xander shrugged, then signed with his fingers "I don't know Collins. She's just being herself I guess"

Collins wasn't receptive to Xander's answer. He stared towards Amelia and subconsciously bit his lips. The girl was mysterious and pretty. Everything about her screamed perfection. From the colour of her hair, to her almost six foot height, then her pale complexion which made her appear like a vampire.

"She's beautiful. Perhaps I've found myself a girlfriend" He muttered.

Xander who was penning down some things, instantly shot up his head. He squinted then slowly turned to look at the girl who could make his friend say such.

He narrowed his eyes slightly catching some familiarity in her face but where the familiarity came from, he had no idea.

Rubbing his forehead slightly with his fingers, he signed with his afterward, "She looks familiar"

Collins snorted. He could believe anything apart from the fact the two had been met. How could Xander, a mute, be so opportuned to meet such a goddess.

"Yours thinking too much Xan" He muttered and just like he expected Xander nodded and returned his attention back to his books.

The class was noisy for the rest of the morning as no teacher walked in because a staffs meeting was ongoing.

While they screamed in the Staff room, a certain man was left wondering on how to get a girlfriend while the other subconsciously racked his Brian to remember something and a girl sat with her eyes fixed on her fingers wondering why two people could be so oddly familiar.

Feeling bored, she dipped her fingers into her backpack and took out her phone. She cropped through social media reading and liking comments, during the process a warm smile graced her face.

......

Jerking awake, a man sat up on his bed and ruffled his hair furiously.

He had the nightmare again and in it, the same silhouette kept popping up as usual but this time it said something scary.

The man stood up, grabbed a pack of cigarette from his bedside then trotted to the balcony.

He took out a stick then sighed angrily recalling he didn't take a lighter. Even in his angry state, the voice and words drifted through his ears.

"We, My Friend Are About To Meet Soon."

The words rang out in his ears. Fearfully, he stared towards the distance and saw something cutting sharply through the air and rushing towards his forehead in an abnormal speed.
