The Ending Without The Beginning

Author: : FOMO
Genre: Romance
She walked back into my life as if she had always lived there as if my heart was a home built just for her. Meeting her was completely unplanned, but soon turned out to be the most beautiful part of my life. I thought that keeping her away from me would keep her safe, but I was wrong. You can keep the person that gives meaning to your life away, but I should have listened to her. I should have given it all up for us to be happy, but I was too selfish to do that.

Chapter 1 One

The person that is not scared of death doesn't exist. Every human being is scared of death in their own way. Death is such a scary and mysterious concept that it sometimes creeps me out. What happens to us after we die? This is a question that will never get an answer anytime soon. They say dying for the people you love makes you not fear death, but seeing your loved ones die is a different kind of feeling. It's like a part of your soul was cut off and you are never going to be the same.

Losing my mum one of the person that truly cared for me was hard and came with a lot of pain but I got used to that pain and tried to live with it. Sometimes I feel like she is here with me but every time I open my eyes she vanishes. She died because of cancer two years ago, and as for my father. I have no idea who he is. According to my mom, he abandoned us when I was three years old. She never mentioned him, and I have no idea what he looks like or what his name is? There are no photos of us, not even a single thing that can be related to him. I only know one thing. Not to look for him. My mum made me promise her. She even begged me not to try to figure out who he was. And I didn't object to her.

I live alone in a small apartment in New York. To pay for education and rent, I work two jobs. I am a law student. School is a pain in the ass, but I made a promise to my mother, and I don't want to break it. Her dream was for me to graduate, and I didn't want to let her down.

After school, I go straight to work and return home around 2 a.m., exhausted and fed up with this life. The only thing that calms me down and makes my day better is when I get back and continue reading my books. They are the only thing I will have with me for the rest of my life. They've become a part of me, and I never leave the house without them. They are like an escape from reality, letting me forget about my boring life.

So this is my final year of school, and I'm about to graduate. Nobody knows how long I've been looking forward to this day. I have started looking for a new job with good pay so I could have more time for myself. Summer is ahead and I don't want to spend all of it working.

It's around 8 pm and I start to do the inventory to close my shift. I work in a small coffee shop almost two blocks away from my other job so it would be faster for me to get there. After finishing everything I close the store and go straight to my next torture. I work as a bartender at a popular nightclub. The salary is good, but being a female bartender is difficult. Many people want to hurt you, which bothers me a little, but I haven't had any problems in the three years of working here. Our boss has really strict rules and if we cross them we can get fired.

I am sitting in my normal spot at the corner of the bar, reading a novel when a man reaches the counter. He puts his hands over his face and appears to be distressed. With a smile on my face, I approached the counter and asked him what he wanted to drink.

"One Scotch, please," he says softly. By his accent, I can tell he is Italian.

I'm surprised because the word 'please' is rare around here. I look at him again, this time more intensely since his voice seems so familiar. I was lost in his lovely deep brown eyes for a few seconds, looking at them without doing anything. I make every effort not to adore his features as much as I want to. His eyes began to glance at me confusedly as I realized that he had given his order and that I was still staring at him like a weirdo. As I turned around to make his drink, I could feel my cheeks burning up. I placed his drink on the table, and he took it and asks for another within a few seconds.

He's been sitting in his chair for over twenty minutes and is on his eighth glass. I haven't moved my gaze away from him yet, as my mind wanders, wondering why he seems so familiar. Those curly hairs and his features reminded me of someone, but I can't put my finger on who. Those deep brown eyes hide something I'm in desperate need to figure out, and I'm not sure why. His perfect pointed nose his perfect plump lips. What is it about him that makes me want to know more about him?

Suddenly he raises his head looking at me up and down scanning all of me. It's been twenty minutes as he has been sitting there and only now has he decided to look at me.

"Can I please have another drink?" he asks, his eyes tired and ready to tear up. He seems to be trying to drown his pain with alcohol to avoid whatever it is that's been in him for a long time.

I decided to talk to him this time. My heart was pounding faster than usual. I'd never felt anything like this before. I approach him and lean on the counter. "Don't you think you drank enough, big boy?" Big boy. What the fuck was this? Where did I come up with this? His head got up as we locked eyes. The prettiest eyes I have ever seen. Those eyes are going to be the death of me.

"Did I ask for your opinion, pretty simile?" he asks with his deep voice a smirk forms on his face.

Okay, What the heck happened? Did he just call me 'pretty smile'?

"I'm sorry to disturb you, but we're about to close the bar and I won't be able to serve any more drinks," I explain as my cheeks blush but I try to keep a straight face.

"Can I just have one last glass, pretty simile?" he asks, looking at me with those lovely baby brown eyes. I chuckle as I pour his last glass.

"The last one," I say as I smile at him, not knowing what else to say. He smiles back at me as he finishes his last glass of Scotch and stands up.

"Could you help me get to my car?" I stared at him, confused. He asked me to take him to his car, even though he had no idea who I was. I pushed this thought to the back of my mind and decided to help him. He barely could stand on his feet I wasn't going to let him drive in that condition.

"Do you want me to help you to get to your car and let you drive in this condition?" I say as I walked away from the counter, I pointed at his condition. I take his hand on my shoulder and begin walking to where he has parked his car.

''Here we are, big boy." I opened his car door and seated him on the passenger side. "I'm going to call a cab so you can go home safely."

"Worrying about my pretty smile?" he asks, his brows raised, looking me in the eyes as a slight smile appears on his face, causing a strange feeling in my stomach. Something I've never experienced before.

"First of all, I have a name, so stop calling me pretty smile, and let me call a cab to take you home."

"I'm sorry for my behavior. What's your name, pretty smile?" he asks, his lips smirking. Those gorgeous lips.

''Elly,'' I said my name, then took the phone from my jeans pocket and dialed a cab number. We waited for over 10 minutes, not saying anything and in complete silence, until the cab arrived. I helped him out of his car and onto the back seat of the cab.

"Elly is a really lovely name," he says looking me in the eyes.

"Thank you," I say a soft smile forming on my face.

"Could you please come a little closer so I can tell you something?" he asks, his eyes focused on mine. I get closer to him, waiting for him to say something. He comes closer and lands a gentle kiss on my cheek. I stood there, my eyes wide open, unsure of what to do. Without moving, he whispered in my ear. ''Goodnight pretty smile, and thank you for taking care of me.''

I didn't say anything and simply got out of the car, shut the door, and returned to the club. I grabbed my things and returned home. Because my apartment isn't far from my workplace, I begin walking. I looked at my phone to check what time it was. The time was 3:48. As I walked, I began to think about all that had happened earlier. He kissed me on the cheek. My cheeks begin to flush once more. My stomach has that same weird feeling. What is going on with me? I've only just met this guy, yet he's already made me feel this way.

As I reached my building, I shook this thought out of my mind, took my keys out of my bag, and opened the main entrance. I stepped inside the elevator and pressed number three. As soon as the elevator door opened on my floor, I went directly to my apartment door and got in. I removed my shoes and went straight to my room to change into my pajamas and lie down on my bed. While I was removing my jacket, I noticed a noise coming from my pocket.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a car key. "Fuck." I mutter under my breath. His car key was in my pocket. I forgot to give him his car key. My thoughts flashed back to the moment he kissed me on the cheek, and I had the same strange sensation in my stomach.

I was so exhausted that I just threw my jacket on top of the mess on my chair. I'll admit it, I'm a messy girl. I didn't eat anything since I was so exhausted, so I simply lay down in my cozy bed and fell asleep. Tomorrow is Saturday, and if I want to, I can sleep till the afternoon.

Chapter 2 Two

It's finally Saturday. I get out of bed and go to my phone to check the time. It's 12:34, and I've got the whole weekend ahead of me. It's not that I am going somewhere, but I can finally relax, watch TV, and sleep as long as I want. I get out of bed and make my way to the bathroom. I decided to take a bath, so I started to fill the bathtub with warm water and placed a coconut bath bomb in it.

While I waited for the tub to fill, I went to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of white wine, which happens to be my favorite, and grabbed the book I'm currently reading. I walked to the bathroom, locked the door behind me, undressed, and jumped into the tub. I rest as I feel the warmth throughout every inch of my body and relax my muscles thanks to the warm water and the coconut scent. I begin reading my novel, which talks about a boy who is a mafia leader and falls in love with his childhood best friend. I don't know why, but I have always had sympathy for the mafia books. The way they think, the way they solve problems by killing anyone who gets in their way of harming them or their plan, and the fact that their family is the most valuable thing they have, they will go to any length to keep them safe. The fact that they can do whatever they want and go wherever they want. God, what wouldn't I do to just live a day in mafia life and experience all the action and adrenalin that they go through?

Once I feel the water starting to get colder, I leave the tub, open the drain, and cover myself in a towel. I went to the bathroom sink and began brushing my teeth, then exited the bathroom and went to the closet. I changed into a pair of loose-fitting shorts and a t-shirt and headed to the kitchen to eat. I begin making an omelet and pour myself another glass of wine. I start cleaning the dishes and tidying up the living room after I finish eating. Then I go to my room, which is a disaster, and start putting things back in order and start vacuuming the floor with the vacuum cleaner. I return to the living room after doing all of my chores, relax on my sofa, turn on the TV, and set it to my favorite channel, where Friends is currently airing.

After nearly three hours of me sitting in front of the TV, I was hungry and decided to prepare some food. I go to the kitchen and begin looking for something to eat. To not my surprise, I don't have anything. It's been almost a week since I last went grocery shopping. I have been so busy with work that I didn't have time to do anything, so I decided to go grocery shopping. First I made a list of what I needed to buy and then began getting ready. I decided to go with some white shorts, a black t-shirt, and white sneakers. I put my long brown hair in a ponytail and left the apartment, being careful to lock it. I walked to the parking lot to get in my car and drive to the store.

When I got in the car, I turned on the radio and listened to Lana Del Rey's song "Blue Jeans," which is one of my favorite songs. I turned on my car and drove to the store. To my surprise, there was no traffic, so I was able to get to my destination quickly. I parked my car close to the store so I wouldn't have to carry my bags for too long, then entered the store and began looking through the list I had made earlier, taking everything I wanted and placing it in the basket. After getting everything on my list, I walked to the checkout, paid, and placed the groceries in shopping bags. Then I returned to my car and placed the shopping bags in the trunk, then went inside my car, and started driving home.

All that had been crossing my mind all day was that guy from the bar. I have met so many guys at work, but none of them got my attention no matter how much they tried to impress me. But this one was different, and that bothered me. His eyes were so familiar, but I have no idea where I had seen him before. I don't even know anything about him, yet he still has an impact on me, even though I don't even know his name.

I spent the rest of the night in front of the TV, watching comedy shows and eating popcorn. I checked my phone to see what time it was and it was 20:40, so I decided to switch off the TV and finish my book. I went to my room, changed into my pajamas, and grabbed my book off the nightstand to continue reading it. To be honest, he hasn't left my thoughts in a long time, and all I could think of was the feeling that invaded my body the moment his soft, plump lips kissed my cheek. His whispers in my ear caused goosebumps all over my body. I'm trying to focus on my reading, but all I can think about is his face.

Suddenly, my phone rings. I reached out to check who it was. It's Bella, my best friend since forever. We met each other in fifth grade, and since then we have been there for each other. She decided to continue her studies in Spain, and it's been almost a year since I saw her for the last time, but we text and FaceTime each other almost every day.

"Hey girl, how are you? I miss you so much. I know it's late, but I just came from Spain and I am dying to meet you. "

'' What? I can't believe you're here. Where are you? I am coming right now.''

'' I am at the airport. Can you pick me up?''

''Yeah, of course, say less.''

I get out of bed as quickly as possible and put on some clothes. I changed into black pants, a t-shirt. I closed my apartment door and went to the parking lot. I got into my car and drove to the airport. Thankfully, traffic was light, so I was able to get there quickly. I stepped out of the car and found her standing at the main entrance with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, and she was dressed in blue jeans and a crop top. Her green eyes were looking for me, and as soon as they saw me, she ran as quickly as she could and hugged me.

"Oh my god, I've missed you so much."

"Me too," I respond, as I pull away from her hug and begin helping her with her stuff.

''God, have you packed your whole house in here?'' I asked as I tried to get her stuff to my car.

''Elly.'' I heard Bella's voice from behind me.

''Yeah, hun, what's up?'' I say, turning around and facing Bella, who has a big smile on her face. ''Why are you smiling?'' I say with a confused look.

''Did you check yourself in the mirror before you got out of the house?''

"No. Why? " I say still confused.

''Your pants are backward.'' She says, and she bursts into laughter. No way. I look down at my legs and see my pants backwards.

''Ha ha ha. Really funny.'' I say in a sarcastic voice as I can spot two boys a couple of meters away laughing too, because Bella, being the loudest human in the world, couldn't keep her voice low this time.

''There's a new trend going around,'' I say to the boys that are still looking in our direction. ''You should try it,'' I said, trying to play off my embarrassment and heading to my car. We got in the car after putting Bella's things in the trunk.

''I can still stay at your place, can't I?" she asks, her lovely green eyes fixed on me, and she makes puppy eyes, making it impossible for me to say no. Not that I had a plan to say it, but still, I can't stay mad at her.

"Of course, hun, you are welcome to stay as long as you want at my place," I say in a sarcastic voice.

I parked the car in front of my building and loaded all of her things into the elevator. I open my apartment door and we walk in. I put the suitcases in my room and went straight to the kitchen.

"Nice apartment," she says as she wanders around and explores the house. "It has a lot of space, and the decoration is amusing," she adds.

I've left my previous apartment, where my mother and I had lived for almost my entire life. I couldn't pay the rent since it was too expensive. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how she paid for it. I mean, I did everything I could to help pay the rent with the money I earned from my many jobs, but still, something didn't sit right with me. How did she manage to pay for all of the rent? I push that thought to the back of my head.

"Have you had anything to eat?" I asked Bella.

''No, I haven't eaten anything all day," she says, so I make some sandwiches and pour a glass of white wine for each of us, and we eat and talk at my kitchen's improvised dinner table. After we finished eating, I washed the plates and carried the bottle of wine and two glasses to the living room, where we sat on the couch. She started to tell me about this new guy she had in her class. They have exchanged their numbers and have texted each other for almost a week. From the photos she showed me, he was really cute and he and Bella would be really good together, but it is still early for this. The rest of the night went with me and Bella drinking wine and talking about every topic that crossed our minds.

Chapter 3 Three

We talked about almost everything that had happened to us this year all night. I looked at the time and was surprised to see that it was 6:30.

"Could you maybe tell me the time?" Bella asks, her face exhausted and intoxicated. We drank a lot. We went down with three bottles of wine. "My phone died before you arrived to pick me up, and I neglected to charge it," she says.

"It's 6:30," I reply.

"I'm so hungry," I say as I go to the kitchen and begin to prepare something.

'' I am hungry too.'' I hear her say as I hear her footsteps coming to the kitchen.

"I'm making grilled cheese. Do you want some? "

''Yeeees,'' she says as she sits in the chair and lay on the counter. I can tell she is tired.

'' Ok. I am going to make you breakfast and then you can lay down and rest.''

'' Please hurry up.'' she says'' I am dying to get my beauty sleep. ''I laugh at her sentence as she raises her head and sees me with a serious face.

''Ok ok, I'm sorry,'' I say as I try to keep my laugh

As soon as we were done eating, I put her in my bed, let her rest, and started cleaning the house. I threw the empty bottles of wine in the garbage can and started cleaning the house, washing the dishes, and vacuuming the floor. After finishing cleaning, I walked to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee and sat on my couch to watch TV. Soon after, I fell asleep, and to be honest, it was the best sleep I'd ever had. No nightmares, no strange dreams, just a nice long nap, but it was ruined when I heard the doorbell ring. I whine, but still, get up to see who it was. I opened the door to find several bouquets of different flowers and one of them had a small note on it. To be honest, I had never received flowers before, and I was a little scared. I took them to my kitchen counter and just stared at them for a while. I took the small note in my hands and started to read it.

'Thank you for helping me 'pretty smile'.

I froze in place, and the tingling returned to my stomach. My cheeks began to flush. What the heck is wrong with me? "Get yourself together and get him out of your head." You cannot feel that way with someone you've just met once," I whisper. After a couple of seconds, it hit me. How the hell did he find my house? But my thoughts were interrupted by Bella's voice from behind me.

''Get who out of your mind? And where did these flowers come from? " As the card was in my chest, I turned to face her. She takes out the card from my hands and reads it aloud. " Thank you for helping me 'pretty smile' ''

"Elly Maria Hade," she says with a serious face. "Please tell me it isn't what I think it is?" Holy shit, full name. I just looked her in the eyes and started backing away a little just in case.

"Hey, it's nothing serious. I met him at the club, and he was too drunk to drive himself, so I called a cab and sent him home."

"So that's it?" she asks, looking me full in the eyes as if she knew I wasn't telling the whole story. God, she knows me so well.

"And he kissed me on the cheek," I say this as a wide smile appears on my face but rapidly disappears as I notice her eyes looking at me as if she is going to kill me any moment. But it is not a big deal. He was just drunk. He probably doesn't even remember it. He just sent them to thank me. He was drunk and if I had left him to drive, God knows what would have happened. "

"Are you kidding me? He found out where you live and sent you flowers to thank you, and you're telling me it's not a big thing," she continues, still staring at me.

"It's not such a huge thing, Bella. He was drunk, and all I did was help him. That's all. To be honest, I'm a little worried about how he found out where I live. " But, in my thoughts, I begged it not to be just that. I haven't been able to get him out of my head since the first time I saw him. His eyes were engraved on my brain as if I had known him before. I'm not sure why, but he felt oddly familiar to me.

"And you didn't even think of telling me?" She says this with a disappointed expression on her face.

"What should we do? Perhaps you'd like to go out tonight to a club? " I'm attempting to change the subject. She looks me in the eyes and realizes what I'm doing but chooses to ignore it. She understands that I'll tell her everything once I'm more comfortable with the subject.

"Going to a bar and getting drunk will do," she says. She recently ended her relationship with her boyfriend because she caught him cheating. But that wasn't the worst part because he wasn't cheating on her with another female. He was cheating on his boss at work. I knew how much she loved him, and she wasn't feeling great, but I was able to help her feel better. And I know that going out is going to make her feel better.

''Yeah, let's get that son of a bitch out of your system,'' I say looking at the smile on her lips and pulling me in a hug.

''I don't know what I would do if you didn't exist. I love you so much.''

''I love you to you too.'' I say '' Now get your ass moving and let's get ready.'' We decided to go to the club I work at.

I began by taking a long, relaxing bath since I was exhausted and just wanted to rest and finish reading the book I had started. After that long, relaxing bath, I stood up, covered myself with a towel, and exited the bathroom so Bella could have a bath as well. After that, I changed into shorts and a t-shirt. I decided to paint my nails, so I went to choose a color. I picked the color black and began painting my nails and toenails, then waited for them to dry until Bella came out of the shower so we could begin doing our make-up. To be honest, I don't know shit about make-up. I know it's a shame, but I am bad at it. The last time I tried to do my make-up, I ended up looking like Pennywise.

''Bella. What's taking you so long? " I ask. I was bored. It's been 30 minutes since she walked in, and she still hasn't left the bathroom. "Come on, we're going to be late,"

She invited some other friends to attend with us. We weren't going together alone to a random party where we didn't know anyone.

"Finally, you got out, "I say in a bored tone.

"That was the best bath I'd had in a long time, so I wasn't going to ruin it because you wanted to get ready fast," she says in an annoying tone. I stared at her face and started laughing at her.

"Yeah, sure. Best shower, "I say, an evil grin on my face. "Oh, Noah, I wish you were here too. I miss you, "I repeat her words as I leave my room in an attempt to get away from her. She was on the phone with Noah the entire time, as if they were two lovebirds.

''Elly. I swear to God, I'm going to kill you, "she yells at me as she follows me around the house. Finally, she caught me, and we both fell to the floor, with her sitting on my back and holding me down. I could easily get her off of me, but I let her believe she had won.

"Get your fat ass off my back." "You're squeezing me," I admit. She is too heavy. When did she get this heavy?

''You promise you will not make fun of me anymore and I will get off.''

''I promise. Now get off of me. "She gets up and helps me get up as I try to catch my breath.

''So can we start getting ready now?'' she asks as I can see the happiness in her eyes. And I nod to her as I rub my back.

She started with my makeup first. We went with simple touches and red lipstick. As I finish doing some last details, Bella starts to do her make-up, and I went to my wardrobe to choose what to wear. I decide to go in a black silk short dress which shows my curves and black heels.

After I chose what to wear, I went to the bathroom and turned on the curly plate, waiting for it to heat up. As I was waiting for it to heat up, I went to my bedroom to see how Bella was doing, and to my surprise, she was finishing her makeup. Usually, it takes her hours to get ready, but she finished up earlier than I expected this time.

''Have you decided what to wear?'' I asked her, ''If you want me to land you something, just tell me.''

''No honey, don't worry, I have the perfect dress for tonight,'' she says. She decided to go in a white short dress and white heels.

I went to the bathroom and started to do my hair, and my mind couldn't think of anything but him. It's like he was stuck in my head and he was all I could think of. I finished my curls, turned the curling plate off, and headed to the bedroom to get dressed. I reach for my phone to see the time. It was 7:30, and we decided to meet up with the girls at 8:30, so we had an hour in our favor and the club wasn't far. I went to the kitchen and filled us with two glasses of white wine just to warm up a little, then headed to my bedroom and gave one glass to Bella, which she didn't refuse. After that, I went to the bathroom, got dressed, and went to the bedroom for Bella's opinion.

''Damn girl. If you don't pull up a guy dressed like that, then I don't know what to say, "she says with a smile on her face.

"Ok, get up and get dressed if you don't want to be late.'' I smile back and take my glass of wine and drink the last sip. After a couple of minutes, Bella comes out, and I won't lie, she looked amusing in that dress.

''The white color pops those amusing eyes more, you know that,'' I say to her.

''I know. Why do you think I'm dressed in this color?" she asks, a devilish grin on her face.

''Damn girl. If you don't pull up a guy dressed like that, then I don't know what to say, " I say with a smirk on my face. I repeated what she had said to me earlier, and we both burst out laughing.

''Ok, now move your ass, we have to go,'' I said to her as I grabbed my keys and headed to the door.

We got in the car and went to the club. I parked my car at my favorite parking spot, and we went to the main entrance. The bodyguards were at the doors and I showed my card that I work there and they let us in. Immediately, as I went in, the same weird feeling kicked in. I hate that shit. Why do I keep feeling that way? It's like I have a thousand butterflies in my stomach and they won't stop flying. But this time was different. It was stronger and, to be honest, I started to like it, but I tried to push it back.

We entered the club, and my eyes started to scan the place, so I couldn't see where the girls were set up. After a couple of minutes, I found them and we went to see them. The club was crowded and it was really difficult to go towards them, but we did it. We met them and decided to go get some drinks to warm up first. We went to the bar and started making our orders.

''One Negron for me and four blueberry cocktails please,'' I said, as we waited for the drinks to get ready and we started talking about different topics. The drinks were ready. We took them and we headed to our table. I gave them the drinks and took a sip of my drink.

.....................

I was on my fourth glass of alcohol and it started to kick in, but I didn't want to stop drinking, so I went to the bar, sat in a chair, and ordered another glass of Negron. I was waiting for my drink to get ready and talking to the bartender, who, by the way, is one of my friends. Suddenly, I felt that same feeling again and turned my head to my left, and I froze. It was him. Those brown eyes scanned every inch of my body. I could tell that he was drunk, but I wasn't better than he was. We locked eyes, but that moment was ruined as I felt a pat on my shoulder. It was my friend telling me that the drink was ready. I turned my head to her and thanked her for taking my drink and got up from my chair and headed to the dance floor and started dancing. I didn't care if I was alone or if I was drunk as fuck, I just wanted to dance.

Phosphorescent lights in the hands of others were the only light sources in the whole club, and the atmosphere they created was amusing. After a couple of minutes of me dancing like crazy, I felt a pair of hands around my waist, but as I said, I was so drunk I didn't process or see who was behind me. I just kept dancing, and it felt good. I started swinging my hips and enjoying the music. I felt those hands pulling me back to his front and his body moving to my rhythm, and I was enjoying every moment of it. I felt those hands pulling my back even closer to the person's front, and an instant warmth covered me. I don't feel uncomfortable. It is like my body doesn't feel in danger and wants more. I kept dancing and enjoying the music. I took the last sip of my drink and just threw the glass on the floor. My hands were at the people's hands, guiding them to my hips as we kept dancing.

Suddenly, I felt dizzy and everything around me was spinning. I took the hands that were around me off and went straight to the bathroom. I went to the sink and used it to keep my balance and stared at myself in the mirror. I washed my face with some water just to wake me up and be careful not to ruin my makeup. As I was feeling a bit better, I went out of the bathroom, and suddenly, someone from behind me grabbed me by my hand, and I was in the bathroom again, pint in the wall as I felt someone breathing in my face. His scent was too strong, mixed with alcohol, and my heart was beating like crazy. I opened my eyes and saw the most gorgeous baby brown eyes I have ever seen in my life.

"Hello, pretty smile. It is nice to see you again. " I still didn't move. I just stared at those eyes and was lost in them. He comes closer to my ear, his hands on my waist pulling me closer to him, making the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.

"Nice moves you had out there," he says, sending chills down my spine as the butterflies in my stomach grew crazier.

"But you should be careful who you dance with, Elly," he says, his hands now trailing my thighs, drawing me closer. His scent made me go insane. As much as I wanted to fight the urge to ignore my thoughts telling me not to pull away from him and go fuck his life out of him, I didn't do it. I don't know him. As much as I know, he might be a serial killer.

''Can you back off me please,'' I said in an angry tone, and he immediately did what I told him.

''Your right I am sorry. You don't even know me. I am so sorry.'' he says, taking his hands away from me and raising them, apologizing again.

''Thank you,'' I said and was going to get out of there, but he pulled me again and my back was against the wall again.

''Did I say the talking was over,'' he says with an angry face.

''Can I go please?'' I say, but deep down I didn't want to. As much as this was too much for me being so close to a guy that I didn't even know his name, deep down I knew he wouldn't hurt me. I just knew it.

''Not so fast, baby," he says, looking me directly in the eyes. "Thank you for taking care of me that night," he whispered in my ear. His voice sent shivers all over my body.

''That wasn't a problem,'' I say, as I feel my cheeks go red and the feeling in my stomach go even crazier. He comes even closer and leaves a kiss on my cheek, his hands on my waist. Then he leaves a kiss on my neck. The butterflies in my stomach went crazy every time he kissed me, making me crave more. My eyes went down to his gorges, plumb lips as a smirk formed and then he bit his bottom lip.

God, I wonder how his lips taste.

''What is that thing that makes me go crazy about you,'' he says, looking me in the eyes. He bents his head to my neck and presses one last kiss to the hollow of my throat, breathing me in while his hand is now in my ass, squeezing it. He backs off, heading to the door.

''See you again soon, precious,'' he says, taking a last glance at me with a smirk and walking out of the bathroom, and closing the door.

A small smile forms on my lips and I just analyze everything that just happened, but I try to put it in the back of my head and go out of the bathroom and head to the girls. It has been almost half an hour since I was with them. They might be looking for me. On the way to them, I met Bella, who had a worried look on her face, and as soon as she saw me, she relaxed.

''Where the fuck have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere. You've scared me to death. I thought that something happened to you.'' she says, looking me up and down to see if I was alright.

''Don't worry, I am fine. I was in the bathroom because I was feeling dizzy, but I am okay now. " She looked at me and immediately understood that I was lying. That bitch knows me too well.

''You know, I know when you lie, and you know I hate it when you lie to me, but let's go home, and then we will talk about this, "she says with an angry tone. ''Let's go home the girls already left a couple of minutes ago.'' We went to the parking lot, got in the car, and headed home.

She sat on the couch and patted the one next to her, telling me to take a seat.

"You now have some explaining to do. What were you doing?" she asks calmly. I sat down next to her and began telling her everything.
