The Cursed She-Wolf

Juliana's POV:

"I, Alpha Taylor, reject you Juliana as my mate and the Luna of moonlight Pack."

My heart was broken into pieces when these words came out from Alpha Taylor. He was my enemy and turned out to be my mate on the night of my 18th birthday.

The moon goddess was unfair! Was that what I deserved after suffering so much! This is my third chance mate and he is still going to reject me as I meant nothing just like the way that the previous ones did. The only thing that I thought will put an end to all this pain and misery is finding a mate that will want and accept me like his own. I was termed a curse as everybody distances themselves from me, they despise and hate my existence. I was bullied, molested, punched, kicked, and turned into a pack slave. My other mates were all from our pack, so the possibility that they could reject me was 100% though it hurts. I wasn't surprised for a bit, my prayer every single day is to find a mate that wasn't from the pack. The person that didn't know of my past and this curse that I have within me, the one that could save me from this misery and gives me another reason to experience life.

During this whole period, when I was going through pain and anguish, my family didn't dare to speak on my behalf. My father was a gamma but I was an omega, he was my real father but I didn't share the same mother with my other siblings. I am their half-sister, my mother was a healer who got pregnant for my father. My father was forced into getting married to her against his will by the Alpha since my mother's parents refused that their daughter could give birth outside wedlock. It was a loveless marriage, my father disgusted my mother and he transferred the hatred toward me when I was born. The first day that I came into existence was the beginning of my misery. I was called a misfortune, it was rumored that I was the reason behind the sudden death of my mother. None of my father or any of my family members wanted to have anything to do with me, the former Alpha decided on banishing me since they seems me like a curse but my granny, my mother's mum pleaded on my behalf but the Alpha refrained her from doing such still she insisted and promised the Alpha that she will allow me to go once I reach 18 years. Despite staying with her my life was a living hell, she maltreated me and accused me of being the reason behind the sudden death of her daughter. My family disowned me and cut off anything that has to do with me when I came running to them for help.

Clasping my fists with my eyes shut, I battled very well to keep my emotions in check but who am I kidding the pain was still there, I thought that the current Alpha now, Alpha Tylor could have a change of mind. I thought he could pity me since I had saved his life twice but hell no! he wanted nothing to do with me.

"Heaven.........! " I tried to call my wolf but there was no reply. I was scared and hoped that there would be someone who could help me as I glanced painfully at the crowd circling us but all I could see on their faces was a look of disgust, irritation, and hatred as the whole look was directed toward me. With tears stung at the corner of my eyes raising my head, I stared at my father, as his dark brown eyes shot deadly into mine. With a hardened expression he stared coldly at me, my heart twisted as I stared at my father, there was no pity in his eyes for me. Why am I paying for someone else's sin? Why is he punishing me for something that I knew nothing about? My heart was bleeding heavily as I felt myself choking, Alpha Tylor's words pierced into my heart like a thunderbolt. My half-sister Vivian smirked mischievously at me with her eyes fixed dangerously on me.

"I won't accept your rejection......!!" I cried out.

"I will banish you and turn you into a rogue if you refuse to accept this rejection now!!" walking with predatory steps he let out a low growl.

"I can't reject you.....please, you can't reject me," with teary eyes I pleaded for him to pity me. I desperately wanted a mate to come out of this misery. Me Being mates to a low-rank werewolf won't remove the stigma that has been attached to me since birth but being mated to a high-rank werewolf can save me from this predicament.

"I know that we aren't fond of each other......." I stop as I sneeze and whimper in pain.

"But I am sure that with time we will get close, just please do not reject me," I muttered with pain, not caring that people are surrounding us. I refused to stare into their eyes because I know that I won't see anything pleasant there except hatred and how they so much wanted me dead.

"We are enemies, remember........?" He asked reluctantly.

"Yes, but just give us a chance..... I am damn sure that we could work things out," I desperately voiced.

"NEVER.......!!" he snarled dangerously at me causing me to flinch back in fear.

"Plea.....pleae, please....." With trembling lips, I pleaded as tears streamed down my face like a loosely opened tap.

Smiling deadly, he strode toward me "You are a curse, Juliana, remember......."

"I can't be mated to a misfortune, how am I to rule my pack with you by my side?" He disparaged me.

"I am sure that the moon goddess knows the reason why she paired us together," I murmured with a hopeless eye.

"What a desperate thing......."

"She is so desperate and cheap, what a pathetic fool........

"Who would want to associate himself with a cursed child......," murmuring started arising as they all glared disgustedly at me. My heart pangs at each statement that they made, they were, saying the truth I am desperate to have a mate, I am desperate to have Alpha Tylor as my mate despite our differences. Who could want to associate themselves with a cursed creature like me? And that's why every mate that I have always distanced themselves from me and ended up rejecting me instantly, my heart breaks knowing that they were telling the truth. It hurts me that every single statement was true, no matter how much I tried to deny or neglect it. It stares in at my face and before I knew it a sob escaped my throat.

"Accept it now because I will destroy you if you waste my time again......" he glares at me with a warning tone.

"Please..... Don't do this to me," kneeling instantly I pleaded.

"Don't tempt me.......!!" He growled with his Alpha voice causing me to comply immediately since I was left with no choice.

"Now that everything is settled....." Smirking dangerously as his eyes connected with mine, he continued "I would like to introduce my Luna and choose my mate......"

Hearing his voice I snapped my head rapidly towards the crowds as I used my eyes to scan for the chosen bride.

"I introduce to you Vivian Rudolf, the first daughter of former gamma, as my Luna and chosen bride........." his face softened as he announced his bride but my heart pierced as I painfully stared at my sister joining us with her hand twisting with that of Alpha Tylor's own.

Turning around his face hardened as he glared coldly at me "You know the reason why you were allowed to stay for this long right......."

"Why me? Why me?" The words slipped out of my lips before I could stop them, the more that I stared at their hands joined together, my heart ended up breaking more.

"Answer me.......!!" He roared in anger as I shrink back in fear, nodding my head as I answered him.

"Fine, so I think it is time for you to leave," he declared.

"No ooo!! Please I don't have anywhere to go from here, " holding his leg I nervously begged him.

He forcefully wanked me off him and pushed me toward the ground "As the power bestowed on me as the leader of this pack, I Alpha Tylor banished you, Juliana Rudolf, from this pack and therefore makes you a non-member of this pack......"

"Haa......!! No oooo," I groaned in pain as I felt the bond I had with this pack breaking. This has been the pack that I was raised in. Though there wasn't a pleasant memory that I had created from it, it still hurts to find myself separating from there. These are the people that I took as my family despite the way that they treated me but at least they sheltered me, shouldn't I be happy to finally leave this pack? Tears rolled down my cheeks as I found it difficult to think straight. My problem was not only that he rejected me but he also went to the extent of choosing my sister over me and turning me into a rogue.

The person's pov:

She closed her eyes as her past came rushing into her mind, she bit hard on her lips to avoid sobbing, she bit out blood from her lips due to how hard she was trying to control her tears. She was brought back to reality due to the pain caused by the piercing of her nails to her skin, she shook her head and stared at her reflection in the mirror.

"Today is my day, so all I need to do is be happy and enjoy myself. Everything that happened in the past has already been forgotten and left in the past," she mumbled.

She picked up the powder on her dressing table and applied it to her face. She ties her hair in a ponytail and puts on her heels, she is truly a beauty to behold.

"My baby, congratulations on your surprise," Juliet shouted to Juliana as she pulled the door open. This is her best friend, the only girl that has decided to be with her despite her mysterious power and stigma attached to her, after being dismissed from her former pack.

After years of wandering in the woods, she was finally accepted by another pack where she finds herself being mated to the pack Alpha again, she was given another chance to mate. She was blessed with another mate after being denounced by her past mates. Juliet was a good friend to her more like her sister, they were called siblings since the pack members said that they are always stuck together and their names begin with the letter **JU** Juliana has created a lot of pleasant and happy memories with Lucien, the Alpha of the bright moon pack which she was damn sure was going to be in her memory forever. Today was his coronation where he will be crowning the Alpha and he will also be allowed to announce his Luna.

"What surprise are you talking about?" Juliana asked her with a confused look as she jerked back to reality.

"Alpha Lucien said that he has a surprise for you," she said to her.

"Lucien said that he has a surprise for me!... But wait, how do you know?" Juliana asked her.

"I overheard him discussing that with his beta and gamma," Juliet responded nonchalantly.

"What do you mean beta and gamma..... But none of them knew that he had found his mate except me and you," Juliana asked this time with suspicion.

"He didn't mention the person's name," Juliet said when chewing her apple.

"Then how do you know that the person was me?" Juliana asked with excitement.

"Don't get too excited dear before you ruin your makeup," Juliet teased her.

"Come on... what else did he say? Did he name the surprise? What if he wasn't talking about me? What if.......Juliana didn't get to finish before she was interrupted by an impatient Juliet.

"Hey Miss, calm down, he said he has a surprise for whoever that is going to be his mate and you are the mate so get ready for your tremendous surprise," Juliet said impatiently to her before exiting the room but not without waving to her with a small wicked smile across her lips.

Juliana narrowed her eyes, Juliet's actions surprised her. First, she was happy today unlike on other days, and secondly, she has never talked to her like this or even smiled at her like this either. She stands for some minutes but after thinking about it she just decided to let it slide and will ask Juliet the reason behind the sudden change in her attitude after the ceremony.

On the day that Lucien found out about him being mated to Juliana, they both decided to keep it secret and announce it today, being the day for Lucien's coronation as the future Alpha. Though it was Lucien's idea, Juliana doesn't know his reasons for that but she decided to play along, this is her fourth chance mate, and apparently might be her last. She told Juliet about Lucien being her mate since she trusted and took her like her sister, her other blood. She never kept a secret from Juliet and her happiness didn't allow her to keep it away from Juliet either as she needed someone to share her good news with.

She stares at herself once again in the mirror before exiting her room to the ceremonial place, she walks with elegance towards the back of the packhouse where the event will be taking place. As she walks men gawked at her, her beauty radiates more as the moonlight glows on her face, she walks with excitement and smiles plastered on her face. Grabbing a drink she moves to the middle, there was too much crowd as people came to watch Lucien crown the Alpha. Both those from the neighboring town and also different Alphas came to witness his coronation, for his pack is among the strongest around the American.

She kept getting heated stares from the men, both old and young, even the mateless and the mated ones. She stood there with confidence but she won't deny that her wolf's absence is giving her concerned and is fucking making her uneasy. She sips the content from the glass, she is standing nervously as she fears the outcome of what will happen today.

"You look beautiful," an old lady complimented her from behind.

"Thanks," she said cheerfully to the woman.

Juliana is one being in the universe that never loves herself, she hates herself for being too beautiful and always stands out in the public. She has always tried cutting her hair but each time she cuts it, it will grow longer than it was before. She wanted to look like other children even if she needed to be ugly, her beauty is not helping her as people despise her so much and girls don't feel relaxed around her and men only want to get to her pants. Her mysterious powers fear her to the bone as she doesn't know how to control them and why the moon goddess makes her life a living hell by giving her those gifts. She was termed a curse and she knows if she by any means that she looked different she would be walking freely like her fellow mates and might not have been rejected by her family or her mates. She has never been complimented before by anybody apart from Juliet and Lucien. And that's why their bonds are much stronger, Juliana has fallen crazily in love with Lucien and she obeys and tolerates everything that he does. They have dated for years since she stepped her foot into their pack.

The ceremony has begun, and Lucien has been called upon the stage by his father's beta who was going to crown him the Alpha since his father has died. The whole crowd cheered with happiness as Lucien walked toward the stage.

"Long live the Alpha....!" The crowd was seen cheering Lucien with happiness and satisfaction. Everyone surely wants Lucien as their Alpha and genuinely loves him for the way he carries himself along with the pack. Juliana with a smile stares at him with eyes full of love and longing.

Juliana's Pov:

Lucien has finally been crowned the Alpha of the bright moon pack, the pack was among the strongest around the whole of America. I dreamily stare at him, I can't believe I was mated to this handsome man. I thank the moon goddess for allowing Taylor to reject me and even banishing me out of his pack because if the incident hasn't taken place, I am freaky sure I won't be here today or even blessed to be Lucien's mate. I gave myself a thumbs up, my excitement has made me forget about heaven, my wolf's silence.

"Long live the Alpha....!!" We all cheered, in happiness, as we hailed Alpha Lucien, raising his hand, and we all bowed our heads submissively. He ordered us to rise and we complied instantly. The big bell rings signaling that it is already a full moon, the moon has come out and it is time for the newly elected Alpha to look for his mate. That's how this pack does the Alpha has to look for his mate first before other pack members follow suit. Even if he doesn't find his mate, other pack members will still be allowed to look for theirs, though it has never been heard that a newly elected Alpha didn't find his mate on the day of his coronation, on a full moon. It is an odd thing as that kind of thing hasn't been heard in this pack and I haven't seen or heard about this either.

"It is time for you to find your mate, Alpha Lucien, the one that will stand by your side and rule along with you,"

"It is time for you to find our luna but before then you have to choose your beta and gamma," the old beta said to him.

"My beta and gamma already know themselves," Alpha Lucien said as he gestured for his gamma and beta to climb the stage. The whole crowd cheered again as the new beta and gamma graced the stage in all their glory.

"Now is the time for us to meet our Luna," the old beta said as he motioned for Alpha Lucien to look for his mate.

My heart ran a different marathon as he smiled and stared around the crowd like he was looking for someone. My stomach swung in excitement as he started ascending the stage, the whole crowd was silent that you can hear a pin drop. I won't withhold the fact that I am nervous, I tighten my grip around the glass of wine that I was holding. The ladies there are all retouching their makeup in case the Alpha didn't find their mate, to fit them to willingly graced his bed for him tonight, some other ones are looking with hopeful eyes as for him to be their mate. I mentally rolled my eyes at them, solely looking at them made me angry. They are all power-hungry, it is obvious that they only want the title. There was a gapes between everyone as Lucien stopped in front of me, everyone was stunned. The ladies stare at me with anger, hatred, and envy. I gave Lucien a small smile which he returned to me.

He signaled for me to come forward, making me blush hard, my eyes twinkling as my face glowed with pure love and happiness. So finally my burden has been uplifted from me. I gently strolled toward him but the more I moved closer to him, the more his facial expression hardened.

"Gosh....." I murmured to myself, I am scared. I stopped but not too close to him. He finally smiled sheepishly at me before uttering the word that broke me into pieces.

"I Alpha Lucien....." He didn't get to finish as there was a murmuring arising from the crowd. They thought he was going to choose me as his Luna but I am having a second thought on this, I realize he wasn't smiling or looking at me with adoration or love anymore but with something like hatred or something else. I nervously bit my lips and awaited the outcome.

"Enough...," he said to the crowd as the noise died down immediately, he lifted his head and looked me dead in the eye, and continued his word.

"I Lucien Beth, the Alpha of the bright moon pack rejects you, Juliana Rudolf as my mate and Luna,"

"Haa! ......no!...," my scream echoed through the quiet hall, murmuring started arising again, as some were giving me a pitiful look while the majority of them were smirking at me. I thought I was loved and welcomed here but hell no I was not even one quarter loved.

"Not again!!...... Please not again moon goddess," I weep bitterly.

"Haa! .... I kept sobbing as I felt our mate bond breaking, the pain was too much, placing my hand on my heart with the other one holding a nearby chair to keep me steady. With blurry eyes, I glanced at Lucien who kept smirking deadly at me. The pain was too much, I didn't feel this much pain when I was rejected by my previous mates or was it because I have never loved them? This pain is too much for me to withstand.

"You love the surprise, don't you?" He asked me with a wicked smile across his lips, his hands were shoved inside his pants pocket.

"So this is the surprise that Juliet was talking about? This is the surprise that I waited for up till now?" I asked myself as another sob escaped my throat.

"Why.... Why? Lucien?" I asked him as I tried to keep myself steady. I stared at those eyes that always held love for me, those lips that always remind me of how beautiful and gifted I was. Hot tears were seen rushing down my face like freely opened tap water, my mouth tasted bitter as I cursed my existence. None of my mates wanted me, I always got rejected despite my beauty and loveliness. Not only did the moon goddess curse me, but she also honors me with mates that will frustrate and wreck my existence.

"No need for explanation, for you, know you are a curse and won't fit anywhere no matter how much you tried," he snarled at me causing me to shrink back in fear. No, he can't do this to me, he can't remind me of my past and stigma. He can't use what I told him against me.

"And I have already chosen my Luna," he announced, causing a stir among the crowds.

"Luna," I mumbled...
