The Cheating Heart

Genre: Adventure
"Your wife is not pregnant, Mr. Javier," confirmed the doctor who looked at Amelie. He just clenched his fist. He didn't know what to feel first. Whether it's the pain that he probably doesn't have a child, that he won't really be a father, or the anger he feels for Amelie's cheating on him. It looks stupid to him. Easy to fool and fool. It can easily be rotated in its hands. He didn't think Amelie would trick him into such a thing. 'Where is his heart to make him hope that they will have children? He was beyond happy when he found out she was pregnant. He removed the barrier between them because he wanted to fix their marriage. "Toll." His older brother put his arms around him and squeezed his shoulders tightly. He knows that he feels sorry for him, even Amelie's mommy feels sorry for him. Poor him. In everyone's eyes, Amelie made him miserable. Anger rose in his chest. He tried to think about what he had done wrong to Amelie and why he had to deceive her again and again. He loved it. He confessed even though there was still doubt in his heart if he really loved her. But now, he guessed not. Amelie did not love or be loved by him. It loved no one but itself. It cannot love others. She is nothing but a selfish scheming bitch. "Tristan, son . . ." "I'm fine," he answered, trying to steady his voice. He also tried to hold back the tears that wanted to break out. "Could you let us talk to Amelie first?" he asked his mother. Amelie looked at him who was in a corner. Her brother and Amelie's mother looked at each other before she sighed and nodded. "But please don't hurt her," Amelie's mother pleaded softly. He wants to laugh. Hurt her? If he could, he wanted to hurt her but he couldn't. Because even though he was very angry that he cheated on him, he couldn't hurt him physically. He just nodded slowly. He stared at her for a moment before leaving with Travis. He looked at Amelie who was stunned in her position. His lips are swollen and cracked. There is a scratch on his neck and his hair is messed up because of his mommy's hurt. He walked to where Amelie was. Even its arms also have scratches. He averted his eyes there. He tried to force it into his mind that they were still missing. "T-Tristan . . ." "Don't," he firmly stopped her when he tried to touch her. "Don't fucking touch me." He withdrew his hand and immediately burst into tears. "I He took a deep breath to ease his breathing. He shook his head. He couldn't speak properly because of his anger. His fingernails almost dug into his palm because of his clenched fist. "I wanted to ask why you did that but. . ." He laughed sarcastically. "I remember how much conniving you are." He shook his head. "You can't love anyone but yourself." "That's not true, I love you-" "B*llsh*t! You didn't love me. Tangina, Amelie . . . you didn't love me because love isn't like that. You tricked me, you made me look like a fool with your lies. What? Are you kidding me while you see how excited I am that we're going to have a baby? Are you so happy when I'm hoping that we're going to have a baby, but it's fake?!" He grabbed his arm. "I wish you didn't love me anymore . . . I wish you'd just keep your love to yourself and stop feeling sorry for me. I hate you, Amelie. I fuck*ng hate the hell out of you!" he said emphatically and let go of her arm. He glanced at the ring on her finger. Their wedding ring and the engagement ring he gave her. He grabbed her hand and without saying anything took off the ring and then threw it in the trash. He also took off his and did the same. He turned his back and did not look at Amelie. He doesn't care about it anymore. He left the clinic. He saw his mommy and daddy outside, Tere was with them. They are talking to Travis and Amelie's mommy. It seems that the two of them explained what happened. The first to come to him was his mommy. They are full of tears. "I'm sorry, son," he said and hugged her tightly. He hugged his mommy and fell on her shoulder then he didn't care to cry there. He poured his tears and pain into his mother's arms. He was no longer embarrassed if he was like a crying child. He can't handle the pain. Because it's not just his son that he has to accept that he lost. But also Amelie. He needed to let her go if he didn't want her to lose her head with all the pain he was going to give her. Amelie was stunned by what Tristan did. He couldn't move where he was. He had already left but he couldn't look back at her because his eyes were focused on the trash where she had thrown their rings. He forced his feet to step closer to the trash can. He knelt before it. It had various contents but he did not feel disgusted. He rummaged through the trash to find the rings. He was struggling not only because they were small but because his eyes were blurry from tears. Some people approached his hospital staff to stop him from spreading but he did not listen. His life seemed to depend on finding the rings. Even though they forced him to stand

Chapter 1 Pretending

Chapter 1

He Falls on the bed, face first. That's when his dream was cut short. Too bad he could have kissed Tristan when he fell on the bed. Really sweaty!

In his dream, Tristan was still hanging.

Annoyed, he just rubbed the hurt look. At the same time, there was a loud knock on his door.

"Amelie! Amelie, wake up. Your mom texted, she's on her way!" Manang Josie shouted outside the door of her room.

He just moaned. He still wants to go back to sleep in case his dream is connected.

"Amelie!" shouted the old servant again.

"Yes! I'm awake!" he also shouted back, because he wouldn't stop shouting outside his room until he made sure that she was awake.

"Faster!" it's still here.

"Oh!" he answered only for Manang Josie to stop him then he scrambled to stand up. He stretched his body first before heading to the bathroom.

He quickly showered and dressed. She was drying her hair with the blower when her brother entered the room.

"Aunt is already there, Amelie, hurry," he said.

"Yes, just a moment!" he said. Because he can't let his hair be wet before he leaves the house. Because her hair is porous unlike Sunny who is her half sister-when it is not dried and put on baby oil, her hair will stick out like wires. Sunny is better, inherited their daddy's hair. Fall and straight. Even though he just woke up, his hair is still beautiful.

"Why don't you rebond?" he asked her watching her work.

"On vacation. Daddy doesn't want to give me money so I'm still saving," he answered.

They are not poor. They are rich. His daddy is also not stingy when it comes to their siblings, the case is that his mommy agreed to have him rebonded after all he is fifteen. As expected, his daddy objected.

He just sighed. He feels that his mommy is really the one who doesn't want him to rebond so she agrees even though his daddy opposes it. This is where he inherited his hair. And in fairness to her mommy, her hair suits her.

Because she was born beautiful! He drove. His mommy is beautiful. Its small heart shaped face accommodates thin lips, a pointed nose, and almond-shaped eyes that are complemented by long eyelashes and naturally arched eyebrows.

As for her, she is the opposite of her mommy. He got his mommy's eyes while his nose and mouth are his daddy's. And like them, the parts of her face don't match so she's out of the category of beautiful people.

"Bad trip!" he whined and hurriedly tied his hair when he heard his mommy honking.

Sunny laughed at him, but he ignored it. He will only be more bad-tripped when he sees that even if he doesn't put as much effort as he does, he's still beautiful.

He picked up the bag and quickly ran downstairs. He even met his stepmother.

"Slowly!" rebuke it.

"Sorry, Aunt!" he apologized and continued to descend.

"Go through the kitchen, your daddy is there. He also has a sandwich!" he said and continued to go upstairs.

He went to the dining room. 'His daddy is there, reading the newspaper while having coffee.

He kissed her cheek and took a sandwich from the table.

"Morning, princess," he said.

"Morning, Daddy!" he greeted back here. He winced a bit because he forgot to greet her.

"Your mommy is already there," his daddy said with a snort. His daddy always seems to smell bad when his mommy is around.

"Yes. I'm leaving, Dad!" he shouted and continued outside.

His mommy was bored when he got into the car. Today is Saturday, that's why he will be staying at his mommy's condo.

"Why did it take you so long?"

"You're early, 'My!" he said and bent down to kiss her cheek.

"Oh my God, Amelie! Your mouth is sticky!" its complaint. His eyes were still wide as if you thought he smeared him with shit.

He just giggled.

His mommy took wipes from his bag and immediately wiped his cheeks before finally driving. They were now going to his grandmother's house-his mommy's mommy. He stays there every Saturday and Sunday. And that only means that he will see Tristan again. Tristan's house is just opposite his grandmother's house and he can go in and out freely because of his mommy who is very happy with him.

In just ten minutes they were opposite his grandmother's house. Even before his mom stopped, he took off his seatbelt. When he stopped, he hurriedly got down carrying his backpack and ran into the house, he didn't pay attention to his mom who was yelling at him furiously because of what he did.

"Grandma!" he called his grandmother loudly as soon as he entered the door.

He came out of the kitchen with a spoon in his hand.

"Oh, did you have lunch?" he asked smiling at her.

He approached her, shook her hand and then kissed her on the cheek.

"How come your grandson is awake at noon!" said his mommy. He also approached his grandmother and gave a hand. "I'm leaving, Mom. George is waiting for me," he said, referring to his new wife.

"Aren't you going to eat here first?" his grandmother asked his mommy. "Your father is coming, why don't you wait?"

"Eh, George and I have something to talk about. We'll just have dinner here," he promised his grandmother and then kissed her again before looking back at her. "Don't be stubborn here, huh? Don't wander around," he told her, which she quickly answered.

He's not a wanderer, eh. He was hanging out right there on the other side.

"'La, I'm just over there." He turned to his grandmother when his mommy left, he even peeked through the window to make sure she was gone.

"Get dressed before you go next door," said his grandmother and returned to the kitchen.

He just took off his shoes and changed into slippers and hurried out of his grandmother's house.

He crossed and went towards them. At Tristan's house. Here's his heart again, beating faster as he approaches their gate.

He saw Melba, Tristan's assistant. He immediately greeted her.

"Hi, Sister Melba!"

"Oh, Amelie, was it noon when you went up wild today?" he asked her making her giggle. He knows that he has a crush on Tristan and simply helps him so that he can always catch up with Tristan at their house.

"Is Aunt there?" he asked here.

"Just Sister?" it tempts him with a grin.

"You're so cute," he said, making her laugh. "Of course, my future is with me," he said and also grinned at this.

"Hantaray! The question is, are you willing to be my pet's future?" He waved at her, holding his broomstick in one hand.

It was difficult for him to answer here. He also knows that Tristan will vaguely like him. There are so many people who like Tristan, almost everyone in their batch likes him.

"I'm going in, Sister Melba!" he said and took the initiative to open the small gate and then went inside.

Sister Melba answered him with a loud laugh.

Tristan's house is a bungalow, but it is one of the biggest houses in their area. There is a swimming pool on the side and a garden in the back.

Tristan's daddy is an engineer while his mommy is a plain housewife.

"Oh, you're here again?" said Travis, Tristan's older brother. He was wearing a jersey and shorts.

He leaned in and tried to be cute.

"Yes, brother, I'm here again," he said and still closed his eyes.

His laughter was loud and messed up his hair.

"You're funny," he said, obviously comforting. "Your crush is in the swimming pool. Go, get drunk!" he whispered to her with a mischievous smile on his lips.

His cheeks immediately warmed up.

"You're a bitch!" He pretended to be annoyed, but in reality his feet were itching to go to the swimming pool. "Aunt brought me here."

"Gosh, you're pretending to be!" he laughed and passed him.

"That's really annoying!" he frowned and went straight to the kitchen of the house. He felt at home when he went there.

"Hi Auntie!" he greeted Tristan's mommy who was sitting at the dining table. She is wearing a pink pastel dress and a red apron. Her hair is in a ponytail and a few strands are scattered around the nape of her neck.

He couldn't help but admire Aunt Bianca. He looks like an angel, his face is very gentle, his voice is the same.

Sometimes he wishes he could be his mommy.

"Hello, Amelie!" He looked at her with a smile while still busy with what he was doing.

He came next to her and was curious about what she was doing.

"What is that, Aunt?" he asked curiously. There are sliced bananas, sweet potatoes, and cassava. There is also a cup of sago. In front of it is ground sticky rice. It is cut into pieces and rounded then placed on a tray.

"Tangled?!" he asked with wide eyes, suddenly excited.

" he answered with a smile.

"Can I help?" He still has puppy eyes here. He smiled and nodded.

"Wash your hands first," he said.

He quickly went to the sink and washed his hands then returned to the dining table. He already helped round the sticky rice.

He is happy when he comes here, because apart from seeing Tristan up close, he enjoys bonding with Aunt Bianca. He often teaches her to cook, sometimes he helps her in the garden and cleaning their house.

The day goes by that he is tailing the lady when he is here. He also knows a lot about Tristan because of it.

He knows that she knows that he likes Tristan, because sometimes he intentionally tells her about Tristan.

He couldn't help but think that she might also want him as a son-in-law. He shuddered when he thought about it.

"My!" Tristan called to his mother as she entered the kitchen.

He stopped circling the stick and fixed his gaze on Tristan.

It's wet because it's from the pool. He is wearing only board shorts and no top. He didn't know why he couldn't take his eyes off Tristan's body when he was used to seeing him naked even when they were kids.

He noticed that Tristan's body expanded a bit. His shoulders are gaining muscle and he has abs! When did it grow there? He does not know. He didn't notice. Just now and he couldn't take his eyes off it.

"What are you doing, Tristan? You just got wet with Melba's mop!" Aunt Bianca is hostile to this.

Tristan scratched his forehead and grinned.

Wow, it's like his heart is going to come out of his ribcage because of that smile. He only wished that it was for him because Triatan didn't seem to see him. He didn't even glance at her even though she was next to his mommy.

It's always like that, he's just like the wind in front of it. Unlike when they were in elementary school, he always noticed her. Because he is his favorite bully along with his cousins and their friends.

"I'm just going to get Drake and I juice," he said.

"It's me! I'll just take it there. Go ahead, get out and maybe the floor will flood even more."

"Thank you, 'My," said Tristan and turned away.

He was left speechless. He didn't really glance at her even a little while since he entered the kitchen he never lost sight of her.

"Amelie, can you take it to the pool?" Aunt Bianca woke him up.

He is already putting a pitcher of orange juice from the fridge and glasses on a tray.

"Yes!"

He went to the sink to wash his hands again. He simply combed his hair that was tied so that his standing hairs came down.

"It's mine," he said and took the tray with juice from the dining table.

"Can you do it? Or should I just call Melba?"

"No. Don't. I can do it," he assured her.

He picked up the tray and left the dining room to take the juice to the pool.

He was still far away when he heard splashes of water and laughter. He took a deep breath before going out. Drake, Bench, Carlo, Justin, Eve, and . . . Sunny.

He frowned, he didn't know that his brother would come here. He was sitting on the edge of the pool with his feet in the water. Tristan was in front of him with half of his body submerged in the water and looking up at his brother while they were laughing.

The smile disappeared from his lips. He looked like a statue while looking at the two. He even got over being trampled on the chest. Sunny was wearing yellow short shorts and a white t-shirt, her sister's black bra was scratched because her clothes were wet.

"Hey, finally!" He was even more surprised when Drake stood in front of him and poured juice into the glass.

He tilted his head to look at Sunny and Tristan again, but Drake tilted his head as well and imitated him.

He frowned at this. Obviously annoyed again.

"Hey, Amelie, you're getting better," he said with a smile.

Even though he knew that Drake was just tripping him, he couldn't help but blush. It's not every day someone tells her she's beautiful, even if it's just a joke.

He accepted that she was not beautiful. Every day he reflects!

He smiled at Drake even though he often wanted to erase his face because he was one of the strongest Alaskan men in him.

"Little thing," he said while tucking a hair behind his ear.

Drake's laugh was so loud that he almost choked on what he was drinking.

"The boat!" It almost killed me laughing. They got the attention of others. Bench approached them accompanied by Justin. "Hey guys, Amelie is joking, oh! What's that again, Amelie?" Drake turned to her with bright eyes, delighted with her.

"I don't know about you, crazy!" he said here and ignored it.

The three laughed. Justin and Bench got juice. When they turned away from him, he then walked to the edge of the pool where the wrought iron table where their towels were placed. He put the drink tray down there and then turned around when he bumped into the man behind him.

He heard loud laughter after he bumped into Drake's chest and lost his balance and fell into the pool.

He was gasping for breath. The water was up to his neck so even if he didn't know how to swim he wouldn't drown, the case was, his eyes widened when he felt a sudden pain in his leg going up to his thigh. Makes him cringe!

He was in so much pain that he sank into the water and struggled to lift himself up. He also swallowed water which made it even more difficult for him to come up.

"Help!" he asked for help from those on the edge of the pool when he was finally able to raise his head, but he immediately sank as he writhed in pain again. The pain went up his thigh.

Even under the water he could hear them laughing. Maybe they think he's joking or maybe no one really cares even though he's struggling. He almost cried because of the pain of his spasm and also because he can drink water. Until he completely sank and couldn't get out.

He was struggling to breathe and he knew that he would run out of air in just a few moments. He wanted to stand up and walk his legs to lift his head and get some air, but he couldn't. He was already crying if you could do it under water. He called his father in his mind to help him, but he knew he wouldn't hear him.

He's going to die. . . he was too young to die. He was about to close his eyes when an arm wrapped around his neck and pulled him up before he ran out of air.

He let out a loud gasp as he gasped for air. He coughed and he could hardly breathe because the water he drank was also coming out of his nose. He felt someone pull him into the pool and lay him on the side. Her vision was blurry and she was dazzled by the light, but something blocked that lightTristan's worried face.

Tristan...

Chapter 2 the truth yesterday

Chapter 2

"You better tell me what really happened!"

He forced his eyes open when he heard Aunt Bianca's voice while preaching angrily.

"I already told you, Mom, she fell. She slipped and fell!" Tristan reasoned.

"Is that true, Sunny?" Aunt Bianca turned to Sunny who was lying next to Tristan. Tristan's friends are also next to them. It is obvious that he does not believe in his son.

He got up and sat on the bed. He was in a room and Aunt Bianca and Tristan were outside the door, the door was open so he could see and hear them.

Sunny nodded softly when Tristan elbowed her.

"It was just an accident. Amelie was in a hurry so she slipped and fell into the pool."

His mouth fell open at what he heard. He couldn't believe it. It was there, he was sure it saw what really happened. He bowed his head and clutched the blanket tightly.

"Why don't we ask Amelie instead?"

They looked at him when Brother Travis spoke, he didn't notice that he was also there. He's the only one who looks cool. The others, especially Sunny, were obviously nervous and couldn't look at him.

Aunt Bianca immediately sat down next to him when she saw that he was awake.

"How are you feeling, hija?" Aunt Bianca asked sweetly, pulling her hair back and tucking it behind her ear.

"A-" He gulped because his throat was rough, maybe because of his coughing earlier. "I-I'm fine," he said unable to even look directly into her eyes.

"Did someone push you into the pool, Amelie?" brother Travis seriously asked standing next to Tita Bianca.

"I told you it was an accident!" said Tristan. He looked at her, he saw that she was also looking at him. He was trying to be cool, but he was clearly nervous.

Even Sunny was nervous. When his eyes adjusted to Drake, he saw that he was pale and unable to look at him.

"You're not the one being asked, Tristan," Brother Travis interrupted angrily.

"I slipped, Aunt. My slippers are slippery," he lied. He saw the relief of the barricades.

"Is that true?" Aunt Bianca asked him sweetly while still caressing his arm.

"Yes, Aunt." He bit his lip. He didn't want to lie to Aunt Bianca because she was so kind to him, but he didn't want to harm Tristan's group, especially Tristan. If Sunny, who is his real sister, was able to lie for Tristan, could it still be him?

Aunt Bianca looked relieved, but Brother Travis didn't believe it because he was still staring intently at Tristan who was standing quietly outside the door.

"Okay. The best thing is that you all go out and have a snack. You, Amelie, I'll take you here, hmmm?" The lady turned to him. He stood up, led Kuya Travis and Tristan's group to come down.

He was left in the room. He just gasped when everyone left. Then he just looked around the whole room he was in. His eyes gradually widened as he realized something.

He's in Tristan's room!

His mouth fell open. The room is painted white, cozy because of the thin white curtains on the window. There are posters of famous bands on the walls, guitars, and some varsity shirts. The room was clean it didn't look like a man was sleeping there. Tristan's picture is on the bedside table next to the lamp shade. He picked it up and looked at the photo with a smile.

Tristan was riding a bike, wearing a helmet and knee pads.

"Umm."

He was about to drop the picture frame when someone whispered. He turned to the door and saw Tristan there holding a tray with only a cup.

"Mommy said you should have a snack," he said and approached where she was.

His cheeks quickly warmed up because he was the last person to stare at his photo. He simply put the picture back on the bedside table and adjusted his seat.

Tristan placed the tray on top of the bed.

"T-Thank you." He grimaced because his voice was so tight, like it was stuck.

Tristan just nodded and turned away. He was almost at the door when he looked back at her.

"Amelie . . ."

His heart was pounding and his gaze quickly flew to it. It's like the pronunciation of his name is soft.

"T-Thank you for not telling the truth . . ." His ear reddened and he bit his lower lip.

He's really cute!

"It's not there."

Her eyes almost watered when Tristan smiled at her.

"Thank you." It was about to turn back again with something to remember. "And . . . ahmmm . don't dirty my bed, okay?" reminder of this.

He just nodded reluctantly. Tristan finally went out the door. When he got out, he took the pillow and buried his face in it then screamed without a voice.

Terrible! Tristan spoke to him soberly. Then he thanked him. He feels that he and Tristan are close. It's so good to fall into the pool!

He sniffed the pillow. That was Tristan's pillow.

Gosh, the smell!

He was now lying in Tristan's bed, in Tristan's! How lucky he is.

"Are you really okay, Amelie?"

Sunny followed me, but I ignored her. Earlier he kept asking me if I was okay.

"Yes, I'm fine. Can you, Sunny? Go home!" He opened the door of his grandmother's house without looking at Sunny.

"I-I'm sorry-"

"Tss! Go home now, can you?" He angrily faced Sunny because he was already paralyzed.

Why does he tease her and not go home? He said he was okay, still scratching.

Sunny bent down because of her sneezing. He suddenly felt guilty because of what he had done, but he stopped himself from approaching her and comforting her. He was annoyed. She was annoyed to see him getting close to Tristan. He feels fear. Sunny is beautiful, even more beautiful than him and he can see Tristan seeing that.

He just bit his lower lip and went inside his grandmother's house without even inviting Sunny inside.

"Oh, Amelie? I heard your sister, you didn't even let her in first?" His grandmother greeted him.

"E-Eh, he's about to go home, La. He's t-in-ext with Daddy," he lied.

He has a lot of lies today.

"Is that so? Oh, eat here," he told her.

"I'm still full, La, I'll just go upstairs," he said and ran to his room.

He immediately dived into his bed and lay down facing the ceiling. He remembers everything that happened. The thrill he felt when Tristan talked to him and thanked him. He pulled his pillow and hugged it while imagining that Tristan was the one he was hugging.

He just stopped fantasizing when he remembered his half sister, he just frowned. He closed his eyes to dream of Tristan again.

It was dark when he woke up. His mommy was already there when he came down. He kissed her and joined them at the table.

"Grandpa?' he asked his grandmother.

"Watching. He will eat later."

He noticed his mom frowning. He already knows why. His grandfather didn't want his mommy to remarry, so they still don't greet each other.

He didn't say a word anymore and he just sister quietly. After finishing, he went up to his room again. He just played on his cellphone because there was nothing else to do at his grandmother's house.

"Have you taken a half bath yet?" said his mommy when she looked at the door of his room.

"Not yet," he replied with his eyes still on the gadget.

It sighed. "You're a young woman, Amelie, but if I don't tell you, you won't think of washing your body before you get out of bed. You're already big, but do I need to remind you of everything? Why don't you?" t you act like, Sunny? That's your sister who acts like a young girl."

He felt a pain. It's sunny again. Sunny is always praised by everyone.

"What? You still won't act?" his mommy is still preaching.

He just stood up and took the towel and went into the bathroom, he didn't pay attention to his mommy's panic. He has mastered his mommy's line. Praise praise and comparison will come out of his mouth. He is older than Sunny, but Sunny is the role model for his mommy.

Why didn't they just become 100% siblings with Sunny? Maybe if by chance she is as beautiful as Sunny, acts as gracefully, is as smart.

Maybe many people will also be interested in making friends with him.

He woke up early the next day, after he had breakfast he crossed to the other house again. He saw Brother Travis pulling weeds from the lawn.

"Hey, it's your morning again!" he shouted at him and beckoned him to come here.

He walked closer to Brother Travis. He didn't have a t-shirt and he was wearing only boxers in an old bag. It looks like a farmer, a handsome farmer. He grinned, if only Tristan had caught him in this order, his morning would have been complete.

"Why?" he asked Brother Travis when he got here.

"You!" It stared at him with narrowed eyes.

He was so surprised that he backed away.

"'You didn't tell the truth yesterday. I watched the CCTV, I could clearly see that Drake meant for you to fall into the pool," he said to her angrily.

His eyes widened at what he said.

"CCTV?"

"Yes. You are too die hard on my brother." It bowed its head. "Even if you are doomed," he said with a red face.

He was speechless and couldn't answer. It's true, she's really dead to Tristan. Even though he was still a teenager, he already knew he loved her.

"Stay away from Tristan, Amelie," he heard Kuya Travis say, his eyes fixed on the grass he was pulling. It was only now that he saw it so seriously that he didn't know what to answer. "You'll only get hurt."

He laughed and scratched the side of his forehead. He already knew that, for a long time. He accepted that it was impossible for Tristan to like him, but what could he do? Well, this is what is being shouted in his young heart.

"I'm a big girl," she said as Brother Travis turned. He smiled and tilted his head. "And big girls don't wait to be loved. They make way to be loved, Brother Travis," he said and turned his back on her with a smile.

He entered the house and immediately looked for Aunt Bianca, because she promised to teach him how to bake. He knows that during the week Tristan is not there and is there with his friends. He really just wants to hang out at their house. He feels it when Tristan comes home and he is there. She feels that she and Tristan are husband and wife and she's waiting for him for dinner. She loved imagining it.

"Hey it's Tristan!"

"Where?" He looked up from what he was doing and looked around.

He heard Tere's giggles next to him eating Piattos and holding a Zesto. They were on a bench near the quadrangle where he was trying to finish his Science project because the pass was later. He almost forgot to do that because he was engrossed in watching Vampire's diaries on Netflix.

"You look like a fool!" He was annoyed that he made his friend suffer, because instead of helping him, he tripped him up, just like a fool. He was not able to have lunch.

"'There it is! There, oh! Look to your left."

He looked to his left, his eyes widened when he saw Tristan. It includes Bench, Drake, Justin, Carlo, Eve and . . . Sunny again.

Tristan's friends are chasing each other while his brother walks alongside him. Many students look at them. Because Tristan's group is popular at school.

His eyes disappeared, they narrowed as he looked at Tristan and Sunny who were talking sweetly.

"Are they your sissy?" Tere asked as she took a bite of Piattos. He also looked at Tristan who sat in the waiting shed near where they were. He still saw how Tristan was supporting Sunny to sit.

"Do not know." He looked away and turned to his Science project. He feels a little pain and envy.

He didn't look at Tristan and Sunny's place until the bell rang. He also lost the mood to do the project so he didn't finish it either. He felt heavy.

His attention was not in class so his teacher scolded him several times. In the Math subject, he stood at the back for almost thirty minutes because he could not answer the recitation.

"Besh, you're so sad, is it because you saw Tristan and Sunny together?" Tere asked him when they left the room.

He didn't say a word.

"You're terrible, besh, how does it feel to be betrayed?" she asked him with a wide-eyed look.

He didn't say a word. He just quickened his pace to leave her behind. It will be funny to follow him.

"Hey, Amelie!" Tere called him.

He was annoyed. Why is his best friend numb? If you can only buy a best friend, you can't because they are the only two who agree on everything.

"There's a Grade 9 working together behind the gym!"

A student said. They even bumped into him in their haste.

"You're really crazy!" Tere complained breathlessly when he caught up with her.

"Someone is tweaking at the gym," he informed her. "Let's go," he said. He didn't let her refuse because he pulled her and they ran to the back of the gym.

Many of the Miron students were there when they arrived. He huddled together even though the others were cursing him for breaking them. They got to the front. There were three Grade 12s working together with a female student who was almost stripped of her uniform lying on the floor.

"It's Sunny!" Tere screamed. "Sunny is the one you're working with!"

Chapter 3 The lying woman

Chapter 3

"Huh?" Shocked, he looked at the face of the lying woman and his eyes widened when he saw that it was Sunny who was being beaten by the three Grade 12s.

"Hey! That's my brother!" he shouted as he ran towards them. He jumped and hit his backpack hard on the girl who was looking down on his sister.

One fell down. He pulled the hair of a woman who ran at Sunny to keep her away from her brother. He faced her and angrily argued with her. She screamed when someone pulled her hair from behind. That girl he hit with a bag. Even though he felt like his head was about to be pulled out, he didn't let go of the hair of the woman in front of him.

Tere approached them and grabbed the woman who was behind her, they both fell to the floor and rolled around until someone thought to pull them away.

The man who lifted him up stood him up. He hugged her.

"Easy, easy, wean now, Amelie," he said to her.

He looked at her breathlessly. He was surprised to see Drake smiling. He immediately separated from her and picked up his bag from the floor. He approached Tere who was sitting on the floor and helped her stand up. He looked around. Some of the men they had fought with. While Tristan surrounds Sunny. He could see the anger and worry on Tristan's face as he took off his jacket and put it on his brother.

He saw some scratches on his brother's face and neck. Once again he felt anger towards his enemies.

"Let's go," he said to Tere.

But before they could leave, Drake put his arm around them. "Come with us," he said.

He frowned. "Why should we go with you?" he said and tried to remove his arm from her shoulder.

"Because Melody's group might be waiting for you outside," said Drake and sneered at the Grade 12 student they had a fight with. They look down on them. He didn't say a word and he didn't object anymore.

"Are you all right, Amelie?" Sunny asked him when they got close to them.

"Why are you fighting?" frowned when he asked her while fixing the button of her blouse that was broken. "Do you have a pardible?" He turned to Tere.

Tere immediately rummaged through her bag even though she hadn't fixed her messy hair yet. He laughed at Tere's appearance, her hair looked like a bird's nest.

"You look like a rape!" he said with a laugh.

He frowned at her while rummaging through the bag and looking for something to say.

"You look like an electric ship!" he said and laughed too.

"Okay, ah? You two are still very happy," Bench commented to them with raised eyebrows.

They turned around at the same time. Everyone was looking at them and admiring their two friends. He was stunned and slightly embarrassed especially when he saw Tristan looking at him.

"I don't have anything to say, besh," said Tere.

Drake took off his jacket and handed it to her. "Just put it on," he said.

He shyly took it and put it on.

"Are you not hurt?" Drake asked him as they walked. He followed her while they followed behind Tristan and Sunny.

Tristan's hand was on Sunny's back, helping her walk as the two whispered softly.

"Are they already?" he asked Drake who ignored his question to him earlier.

It shrugged.

"I don't know. We don't know what the score is between the two of them. Why? Are you jealous?" it pointedly asked him.

He went over and tormented her.

Of course. . . He whispered in his mind. But he didn't say it because he knew that Drake would just point at him. He really shouldn't have gone with them, he wasn't with Tere yet because his older brother picked her up.

"You know, I didn't think you would defend Sunny over there in Melody's group," he said making her turn around.

"He's my brother, I tend to help him when I see him hurt. When you see someone else beating your brother, won't you do what I did?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't have a brother," he answered simply.

"Shhh!" he shouted and he didn't say a word again.

He focused his eyes on Sunny and Tristan. He is jealous of his brother, he also wants to experience being supported by Tristan like a precious thing that he is ready to protect at any time. He wants her to look at him too as if she is such a beautiful sight that he can't bear not to look at.

He wants to be at Sunny's place.

"Let's eat fishball first!" said Bench and started walking towards the fishball vendor.

"You're free, come on!" Drake said to him, he even grabbed him by the elbow and led him to the fishball vendor.

"Here," said Tristan to Sunny, handing him the plastic cup with only a fishball and kikiam to skewer it himself.

"You want me to take you too?" Drake asked him.

He frowned. He wondered why he had been noticing her as if he had been kind to her. He didn't used to be like this, he often teased and teased him which he hasn't been doing since before. Nor does it separate from him.

"Do you like me?" he asked directly here.

He was surprised by his question and he was not the only one who was surprised because their companions also turned to them, including Tristan. He suddenly felt ashamed.

"Oooooh! Relationship!" Justin shouted, joining Bench and Carlo as they laughed. Even Tristan smiled, while Sunny frowned as she looked at both of them and Drake.

"That's just hunger!" said Drake with red ears and unable to look at him directly.

He bit his lower lip. He felt ashamed because of the covering of his mouth. Tristan might later think that he assumed too much to think that Drake liked him. Drake is handsome, even Bench, Justin, and Carlo. That's why they are popular on campus. So it was very impossible when he asked Drake earlier because who is he? She's just Amelie. She's not beautiful anymore, she's not as smart as Sunny.

He just took what Drake handed him and started eating. He didn't look up even though Drake sat next to him again and started eating. When they finished, Drake even took his plastic cup and stick from him to throw away. They were showered with temptation that they just laughed at.

"It's better to come with us every day," said Drake when they were walking. He bowed to her. "Melody won't stop until they get revenge," he said with concern in his voice.

"Why did he collide with Sunny?" he asked.

Drake leaned close to him to whisper. "Melody is Tristan's ex," he whispered softly.

Her eyes widened and she looked at him. "Really?"

It nodded. "Maybe that's why he fought Sunny because it was rumored that Tristan was courting Sunny."

It felt like someone kicked him in the chest when he heard it. Tristan dating Sunny? He glanced at the two in front of them. That's why they are so close. That's why it's too much if Tristan takes care of it.

Tristan likes Sunny. . . and the pain, they don't have a relationship with Tristan because that's unlikely to happen but the pain-pain. It's like he's been betrayed.

He didn't say anything and Drake noticed that so he kept quiet until they reached their street. He even saw when Tristan caressed Sunny's arm before saying goodbye.

"Do you want me to pick you up tomorrow?" Drake asked him. His face was serious but obviously nervous.

"Why?" he wondered.

"So that we can go to school together."

He rolled his eyes. "Tomorrow is Saturday, no school."

He scratched the back of his neck. "Yes it is."

"Drake! Get over it!" Carlo called Drake. Carlo was walking first and Tristan was with them.

"Bye!" said Drake to him who just nodded.

"Drake flirting with you?" Sunny asked when it was just the two of them walking together.

He frowned. "Where did you get that?"

"It's obvious that Drake likes you," he said smiling but Sunny's eyes had another emotion that he didn't know what.

He didn't pay attention to that because of what he said. He? Drake will like it? Impossible!

"You just thought that. Wait, what excuse are you going to make to Aunt and Daddy when they see your bruises and scratches?" he asked.

"They're gone today. Tomorrow I'll just put on concealer."

He nodded. He remembered that his daddy was out of town with Sunny's mommy. Now only the two of them and the helpers will be left at home.

"Thank you, by the way."

He turned to Sunny.

"Thank you for helping me earlier," he said.

He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm your brother, eh," he answered simply and entered the house first.

weekend and his mommy picked him up early and left him at his grandmother's house before she left. He is so used to it that he doesn't care about her even though instead of being with him and bonding, he prefers to leave her in the care of his grandmother and grandfather.

He just waved and dropped the backpack in the living room then ran to the other house.

"Good morning, Sister Melba!" he greeted the maid who was watering the plant. He just nodded at her.

He excitedly entered the house and immediately looked for Aunt Bianca. He just stopped entering the kitchen when Tristan passed in front of him, still yawning, obviously still sleepy because his eyes were wide open, his hair was messy, he looked like he just got out of bed.

He gulped, as if he was holding his breath when he saw her. Just now he saw Tristan who had just woken up but was still handsome.

"Hey!"

He looked at Brother Travis who was wearing his basketball uniform again and was holding a ball. He grinned at her and his eyes were dry.

"You're in love again," he said while walking with her.

If it's possible to fall in love with someone over and over again, that's what happens to him when he sees Tristan. He falls down again and again and doesn't know if he can get up. He just sighed as he followed Tristan.

"He's really handsome, Brother," he said daydreaming.

Brother Travis strangled his arm around his neck and laughed and pulled him towards the dining area. Tito Henry is already there Tristan's Daddy and Brother Travis and Aunt Bianca is next to him serving his wife. Tristan was already sitting and quietly drinking coffee.

"Mom, your son-in-law is here," Brother Travis laughed.

Annoyed, he elbowed her for being silly. His face kept getting red because of the heat. He couldn't even catch a glimpse of Tristan.

"G-Good morning p-po . . ." he greeted them shyly.

The couple also greeted him with a smile. "Sit down, hija, have you had breakfast yet?" Aunt Bianca asked kindly.

"For sure not yet. I saw him running here in a hurry, huh," Brother Travis laughed at him.

Uncle Henry also laughed. "Can we adopt Amelie, sweetie?" Uncle Henry joked.

"Oh, you'll end up with incest, Ami," Brother Travis whispered. He elbowed him because he was really embarrassed. He simply glanced at Tristan from the corner of his eye. It doesn't care about its surroundings and just eats quietly.

He couldn't help but imagine that he was taking care of Tristan while he was having breakfast. He will cook breakfast, make her coffee in the morning then she will thank him and hug him, and much more. Haaaaay . . .

Since she was twelve, her dream was to serve Tristan, to be his mistress. That's why he's just now learning how to cook. She also finds out what her favorite foods are with the help of Aunt Bianca.

"By the way, Tristan, have you taken the entrance exam at the university?" Tito Hentry asked, stopping him from eating.

"Yes, Dad," Tristan answered.

By the way, Tristan is graduating from this college next term. He doesn't see it often anymore. He suddenly felt sad. That's why he tries to come in every day to see it.

"Good. As for you, Travis, how are your grades?" Uncle Henry turned to his eldest.

"Good, good, Dad," Brother Travis answered even though his mouth was full of food.

"That's great!" Uncle Henry was satisfied with the children's answer.

when breakfast was over, Uncle Henry and Brother Travis also left. He was left in the kitchen with Aunt Bianca, helping her to clean up the food and prepare something for them to bake. Meanwhile, Tristan went up to his room again.

He was already whipping the whip cream when someone called Tita Bianca and she told him that she would just answer the call.

He stiffened where he stood when he saw Tristan enter the kitchen. He had already taken a bath and was wearing his house clothes while someone put an earphone in his ear. He looks fresh while his hands are full of flour and he's a bit sour. He was a little embarrassed. He and Tristan looked at each other and he almost gasped. He almost threw himself on it. She quickly looked away from Tristan so that he wouldn't notice that she was suddenly excited when he came.

His imagination becomes mischievous again, he begins to daydream again and there is no one else in his dream but Tristan. His eyes followed Tristan's every move.

Tristan went to the fridge and got some juice. He felt his actions in the kitchen until he was startled when he sat on the stool next to him.

"What is that?" he asked her casually.

"Huh?" he asked stammering even though he heard it. His eng-eng is working again. She was shocked when he talked to her. He looked dumbfounded just looking at it.

"I said, what is that?" he repeated with a glance at what he was doing.

"Ahhh . . . w-whip cream," he muttered. He couldn't stop his own gasp because Tristan was so close to him, he could smell his perfume playing and lingering in his nose.

"For the cupcakes?" he asked again while drinking juice.

He didn't know what to do first. Stare at it while drinking or answer its question.

"A-Are you attending the valentines' ball? Grade 10 is involved, isn't it?"

He blinked. Valentines' ball is only two weeks away. And yes, with the Grade 10 students, but he has no intention of attending because he has nothing to do there. He doesn't have a date and Tere won't attend either.

"Yes, including the Grade 10s. It was announced last month." He was about to reach for the liquid food color when Tristan went ahead of him and it was he who handed it to him.

"T-Thanks."

It wasn't just her voice that shook as well as her hands because her and Tristan's hands almost touched.

"A-Are you attending?" it asked.

He bent down and let his hair block his face so he couldn't see the thrill that was hiding in his smile. He didn't want to assume but he really felt that there was something in Tristan's questions.

He shook his head gently. "I don't know. I don't have anyone to attend."

"If I come with you, will you go?" Tristan asked expectantly.

He bit his lip hard to stifle a loud scream.

"W-Will you come with me?" he asked hopefully.

"Mmm . . . I'll pick you up," he said then got up and left the kitchen.

His knees got weak so he sat on the floor.

Tristan will accompany her to the ball! Tristan will be with her at the ball!

"Oh, Amelie, what happened?" Aunt Bianca asked worriedly as she was quickly attended to and helped to stand. "Are you sick?"

He shook his head with rolling eyes. She was so shocked. It's Tristan! Tristan invited him!

Aunt, your daughter is strong enough to thrill!
