The CEO is human after all

Sally was so tired. She still had to smile and serve customers who were flocking into the restaurant........month end is always like that in this business.

The hotel was fully booked,plus all the couples and families who were coming in for the scrumptious dishes the restaurant is famous for. Sally finished serving the table by the entrance and turned around to go back to the kitchen. BAM! She wished she could disappear as she bumped into the most 'beautiful' man she'd ever seen. Rich messy black hair,blues eyes and gosh those shoulders! His white shirt had two buttons undone at the top and he smelled so good. After a good minute Sally came to her senses and apologised. "I'm sorry sir,I.......I didn't see you coming! May I assist you to get a table and whatever else you may need."

"Sally...." he said after looking at her name tag. "It's ok don't worry about it,please get me your wine list." She helped him get a table and went to get the list. "Phew....that was close!"

When the handsome man settled the bill he also gave Sally his business card. "Whoa! What am I supposed to do with this. The man is hot and I'm not. And he is Caucasian and looks like he lives a whole different life!" She couldn't stop rambling in her mind.

When Sally woke the up,the card was the first thing she saw on the bedside table. She opened the curtains to let in the sunlight and finally decided to gathered enough strength to call the hot man from last night.

Johnathan

Johnathan has been in Botswana for almost 8 months and quite a good number had shown interest. Though this was the case,he'd never really done anything about it because of what happened back home. A girl broke his heart very badly back in Canada.

It's safe to say the girl was the main reason Johnathan was in a whole different continent. He needed to get away and so he travelled to Botswana and started a new company.

For the first time in a while he found himself relaxed enough to look at a woman again. That Sally chick was something! He gave her a card just like that. He was smirking,thinking about last night when his phone rang and it was an unknown number.

Sally:Hello,you gave me your card at the restaurant. I was your waitress,Sally.

Johno:Oh,I was just wondering if you'd use the card😁 It's high time.

The call went on for 10 minutes and they agreed they'd see each other again soon.

Sundays were Sally's days off. That Sunday was Johno and Sally's first date. This was decided after a lot of texting on WhatsApp which they both seemed to enjoy.

Johnathan woke up feeling energised in his gorgeous mansion in Phakalane. He was ready way before 10am-the time they agreed to meet. He decided to do some work on his laptop to kill time. At 9:30 he got into his AMG A35 and opened his WhatsApp so he could see Sally's location.

When she heard her phone ring she knew Johnathan must have arrived or he was somewhere close. She picked up and he said he was outside but wasn't sure which plot she was in. She asked him to wait and joined him 20minutes later after trying her best to look good.

They spent about 5 hours in Game City mall. They had brunch. Got into almost all the shops where Johnathan insisted on buying Sally a few things. Someone would think they've know each other all their lives looking at how they got along and spent the day laughing their hearts out.

The only thing that was not so great about their day was the stares. Interracial dating should be normal by now because it is clear you don't choose who you like but unfortunately it seems like it's still stare-worthy in Botswana.

What is a perfect ending to a great date? Johnathan took Sally home and instead they stayed in the car for over an hour because both of them were not ready to part ways yet. They shared a passionate kiss which made them realize how serious it all was between.
