The CEO is My Soulmate!

"Tell me about yourself." The CEO asked Lily. He decided to take the interview himself as he wanted to make sure that his assistant meets all his standards and expectations.

"I am Lily Stewart from Leyan City. I have completed my degree in management and have been working as a writer for eleven years. I was one of the unfortunate employees to be laid off from the company I was working for and have been looking for a job since then." She paused.

"Okay, stop. How old are you considering your eleven years of experience?" He asked with a suspicious look.

"I am thirty years old now. I started working from the age of nineteen." She clarified but grew nervous.

"You don't look like a thirty-year-old woman, and you are completely flat on the front. I hope you are not lying about your age to get this job."

"I am sorry. I didn't get you." She was clueless.

"I mean, look at yourself. Stand up and give me a side look." He ordered. She uncomfortably moved her body sideways to give him a side look. She was feeling extremely humiliated.

"I don't see anything feminine or any woman trait. One of the biggest traits in the front portion. I expect some elevation on the front. It's just so flat. Only children will have them underdeveloped. Do you want to speak out your real age?" He had a tone of warning that sent chills in her spine.

"I am sorry, but you are accusing me of nothing. I can show you my government ID card." She said firmly. He could already see her sweating.

"It could be fake. I will give you one more chance. Open the first two buttons of your shirt. I want to see them. I should expect some mass in that region." He ordered.

"What? This is inappropriate and more like sexual assault. You cannot ask a candidate to show her private parts just out of some proof of age." She defended herself.

"I am not interested to see your private parts. I don't even care if they are small or smaller. If you are a woman, it will have at least little mass until there is some medical cause." He explained himself.

She was convinced but still not comfortable to do so. He stared at her in a cold manner signaling that he is waiting for her to show it. She understood.

She sadly opened the first two buttons of her shirt and exposed her bra.

"I don't see anything. Maybe move your shirt a little apart and give me a side look." He spoke.

"This is awkward. I cannot believe that I need to prove my age by showing off my breast. It is not my fault I look so young, but nobody asked me to do this. This is inappropriate. I think I will leave now." She said angrily.

"No wait, this may actually work. Now, I see it. I expected a little elevation though. You are selected." He gave his verdict on the spot.

She was surprised to hear that and gave him an expression of confusion.

"Please sit down. I will mail you your contract soon and once you sign back, the HR will send you the joining details along with formalities."

"But you didn't ask me any of the questions related to my work." She buttoned her shirt and checked if he was looking but he wasn't. She was surprised. She couldn't believe what happened few moments ago and she is still feeling awkward. The CEO of McCarthney Real Estates just checked her breast to confirm her a job.

"You may go now. I have a meeting to attend. The HR will contact you and please finish the formalities at the earliest." He said and stood up taking a file in his hand.

"Thank you for the job offer but it was very awkward for me." She spoke in a sad and confusing tone.

He looked at her angrily for accusing him and mentioning the word 'awkward' again and again. He gave one last furious look to her and said, "I will send the contract soon."

He walked away with the file leaving her alone in the office.

She felt weak and was almost in tears. She said to herself, 'I can't believe I had to unbutton my shirt to get a job, but I need this job desperately. I have debts to clear and desperately looking for a job. This could be faith, and this was meant to happen.'

She stood up, wiped her tears, and walked out of the office confidently.

The CEO watched her from the camera room that was inside the board room, and he felt bad for her. Was he too harsh on her? He thought to himself. Probably he had trust issues when it came to women as they all tried to impress him or seduce him all the time. He was at least glad to give her a chance in the job and noticing that she was crying silently, he felt an eerie feeling under him.

He thought with a smile on his face that he was not aware of, 'there are women who are ready to go naked in front of me and this woman had issues just to show me a small portion of her breast that will prove her to be a woman. She is different and special.'

He walked outside the room with a smile on his face and the directors were shocked to see him in a good mood.

The CEO of McCarthney Real Estates Private Limited is Brad Logward. His father retired last year, and it was his wife who helped him in his business. As his mother fell ill and passed away few months back, his father took an entire break from the business world. He would socialize with his friends and exercise regularly to keep himself heathy.

Brad, his eldest son, became his successor but it was overwhelming for him to be in the position. Mr. McCarthney suggested for an assistant for his son so that he can manage his schedule easily. He was reluctant in the beginning but upon request, Brad decided to give it a try.

Brad always grew and socialize with women who were ready to throw themselves at him. He enjoyed attention but was also known for his cold nature. He was always busy with his work and often end up overworking which caused Mr. McCarthney worry about his health. The assistant seemed like a good idea for Mr. McCarthney and hoped he would have a better work-life balance eventually. If an assistant is hired, he would be able to date a woman with the focus on a serious relationship as he would have some free time.

Brad was not happy with the idea of relationships. He was not impressed with woman who were ready to date him. He did not see a challenge or anything interesting. However, he did have intentions of physical intimacy and hence, hoped to hire a sexy assistant. He did not tell his intentions to his father though but was keen on hiring an assistant himself that could match his standards.

Considering his standard of a female assistant, she should be open minded, she should have a good figure and pretty face. She should have elegance and charm so that she is able to carry herself well in front of clients. He was also focused on their hygiene levels surrounding their hair, oral and clothing aspects. He hates messy women.

To top it all, he is a tall man, and he was hoping for someone who could match his height. As he can show her off in social circles that are associated with business partners. Basically, he was looking for someone who could match him by looks, body, height, and style. He wanted her to be particularly fashionable, girly, and stylish. He respects feminine nature of woman and ultimately, these are his standards for an assistant he wants to hire.

Lily was approached through an online job portal as he noticed her cute face in the resume that was uploaded. She was mailed immediately for an interview but as she did not expect any email from an employer, she ended up checking and replying to the email after a day.

She apologized to the sender over the email and agreed to visit the office the next day. He waited patiently for her to reach office, but she was in a mess as she was already late for the interview. He didn't like her messy hair and that made him frown immediately. She was only five feet and way shorter than him. She looked like a cute, teenage woman and no way around the thirties as she mentioned in her resume.

He summarized the job profile about planning his travel itineraries, meeting schedules, client email handling and management, remind and accompany him for the meetings, and plan business lunch or dinners with clients which also includes the menu. He was surprised that she didn't look old for her age and no way matched any of his standards. He continued with the interview, and he was not sure why. He would have immediately rejected her for her height and face to start with but something in him didn't want to.

She was selected and he was not sure why he selected her. she was impressed by her resume and her innocence at this age. He felt her energy to be very positive that got him smiling as he noticed her angry and awkward face which is not usual among the women he has met so far. The hesitation to show off her private parts surprised him and that generated an interest to know her even more. He found her different and interesting for a reason unknown.

Brad is the most eligible bachelor in the city of Tayk and probably the whole country. He has helped his father run his business as a member of the board of directors since the age of eighteen. Although he has a younger brother, Shaun, he preferred to stay away from the real estate business and started his own venture in the gaming industry.

Shaun has a personality opposite to Brad. While Brad is a serious man radiating coldness in office, Shaun is everyone's favorite as he is always sociable and cheerful. Brad is a workaholic who buries himself at work while Shaun believes in recreation and fun in life. Nevertheless, they both love each other and do indulge in good conversations during mealtimes at home.

Both the brothers are rich, handsome and have many women aspiring to be their life partners. However, although Shaun actively indulges in dating scenes, Brad never had the time to get involved with any woman. He would lose interest after a few minutes of conversation, and he would eventually cancel the date.

Mr. McCarthney tried to introduce him to his friends' daughters, he was not impressed by their 'no personality' and dumb nature. His father eventually gave up but never gave up on reminding him to take time out at least to meet a few women on dates. Hence, the overall idea of having an assistant was to free his time for dates until he finds the right woman for his son.

Lily Stewart moved to Tayk City to pursue her career as a writer. The city has headquarters of several famous publication houses although she enjoys writing her own masterpieces. She was one of the high performing writers in the company and supported the business development wing of the company. The company indeed supported her education alongside where she was able to successfully complete her management degree. She was financially stable, and she already started planning for a house soon.

She was dating her former colleague, Brian, who was from Michin Town. They were good friends and they soon started dating. Everything went well and they had a good bonding. Brian was the first to lose his job as part of the lay off after three months of dating. She was supporting him financially and even paid his rent and all other expenses. She had enough savings to support him.

He was happy and often felt lucky to have her. After six months, Brian did acquire a job in a reputed company and the company was paying him well. This freed Lily from the responsibility of paying his rent but still supported him every time he needed money. After a month, she was laid off too and she managed to survive on her savings. As she was struggling to land on a new job, she stopped transferring money to Brian for his expenses. She hoped that he could manage his expenses with his salary as she continues to survive on her little savings left.

Brian was not happy with her decision of stopping his expenses and demanded more and more money from her. she had no job and had her own rent to pay. She was almost running out of savings, and she was already worried about her future. She would sit whole night applying for jobs while his boyfriend would spend his money on parties with his friends. He refused to support her back and called her toxic for asking for financial help.

As the tension between them built, Lily realized that she was there for him while he was not. His refusal to support her during her difficult times, made her feel betrayed. She sends him one last message that said, "I was there for you when you didn't have a job but now that I have fallen in the same situation as you, instead of helping, you keep asking me for money for your parties. You are a selfish bastard, and I cannot have such a man in my life. Goodbye!"

Brian was working in his office during the time he heard the beep on his phone. He saw that it was a message from him, but he didn't bother to read it immediately. As he reached home after a few hours, he opened the message to read it. He immediately called her, but he was already blocked. He was already egoistic and decided not to visit her in person. He was looking for a way she would contact him and make her want him.

Although he was upset that she dumped him but a part of him also made him feel guilty that he used him. However, he refused to accept that he did wrong to her but stayed adamantly ignorant about her situation where she was financially unstable. He still did not help her even after breakup and even refused to return her money.

Ignoring her message yet again, he decided to chill with a beer and sleep off the night. Lily on the other hand started wondering about the betrayal, the loss of job and her savings completely gone. She supported a man during his bad times only to be betrayed during her lowest point in her life. She was not happy with her life now. She only hoped for a miracle in her life now.

The email from McCarthney Real Estates raised some hopes but she had no idea she would be contacted for the position of an assistant out of the blue. She has no experience as an assistant, and she certainly knew that she does not match the job profile. Considering her desperation for a job, she decided to attempt the interview without any expectations of getting selected. She was already apologetic for the late reply to the interview call letter and tried to compensate by going ahead with the interview the next day. She was clueless about the job description as she has never worked as an assistant before, but she decided to be honest enough to share her job experience in her domain so far.

However, she was shocked to be selected and felt humiliated equally. The only good outcome of the humiliation she faced was the job selection and the pay was satisfying for her. She already felt the need for compensating on the delay in rent payments to her owner who was understanding about her overall situation. Ironically, Brian was never understanding of her situation and selfishly took her for granted. She regrets being with him and she wished if she could take her time away that she wasted with him. There was a time, he even spilled tea on her laptop resulting in liquid damage which was beyond repair. She lost all data that was stored in the laptop, and he even refused to buy her one after he got the job. She even offered a bargain to buy his laptop as he already received a new one for personal use from the new company he got into. However, he refused to sell it to her as he had two purposes for using both the laptops for himself. The first reason is his first laptop supports heavy games and the second reason is he wants to use the new laptop solely for fun purpose.
