Chapter 1 Fateful night

On a beautiful day, Oralie Mary's beloved father suddenly died in a plane crash.

The news plunged Oralie into a state of panic. The world seemed to collapse before her eyes. She had no mood to think or address any problems. At this moment, Oralie was immersed in the pain of loss and sorrow. Taking advantage of Oralie's vulnerable state, a woman named Daisy, Oralie's stepmother, carried out her sinister plot.

"Oralie, I need you to sign some documents related to your father." Daisy boldly approached Oralie, who was slumped on the floor. She looked frail and pitiful.

"You can do it yourself," Oralie said wearily.

"No, these documents require your signature." As she spoke, the woman handed the papers and a pen to Oralie.

"Where do I sign?" Oralie, without any suspicion, took the pen lazily. She was ready to sign. For Oralie, the person she could rely on and trust, now only her stepmother remained. Throughout the years, Daisy and Oralie have always had a good relationship. Daisy treated Oralie as her own flesh and blood. Everyone thought Daisy was gentle and kind, a misconception that many fell for, including Oralie. It turned out that all this time, Daisy had been pretending.

"Sign here, and here as well." Daisy gave detailed instructions with a joyful smile. It was fortunate that Oralie did not read the contents before signing. Oralie was unaware that the document she signed was, in fact, a property transfer document, transferring the inheritance rights from her name to Daisy's.

Oralie decisively signed, completely unaware of what was about to happen to her.

"That's it. You just rest. I'll take care of everything else."

"Yes, thank you, Mom."

...

"What's happening?" Oralie wondered to herself as the empty glass slipped from her hand and crashed onto the floor.

The shattering of glass echoed, and the shards scattered across the floor. Accidentally stepping on those sharp pieces could cause someone to bleed.

Upon hearing the noise, the person standing outside the door, who had been waiting for the right moment, abruptly swung the door open and entered Oralie's bedroom.

Observing the disoriented girl, her face pale, the newcomer revealed a sinister half-smile. It seemed that their plan had succeeded, and their malicious scheme was nearing completion. After a moment of watching Oralie, the figure changed its demeanor, adopting a seemingly kind and inquisitive tone.

"Oralie, what's wrong, dear?" The woman feigned concern with a deceptively sweet voice. She carefully observed every move Oralie made before slowly advancing towards the girl, who was standing unsteadily in the room.

"Mom." Oralie's eyes, unfocused, looked towards the person who had just appeared in front of her. Her voice trembled. "I feel really uncomfortable. I'm so tired."

Before Oralie could finish her sentence, her mind was in a daze, her vision blurred, and she slowly collapsed onto the cold floor. In a hazy state, Oralie faintly heard the despicable conversation of her wicked stepmother.

"Those outside, come in." The woman's voice quickly shifted to a cold, ruthless tone as she confirmed that Oralie had completely succumbed to the drugged state.

Immediately, a group of strangers entered Oralie's room. Subsequently, following Mrs. Daisy's orders, they escorted Oralie out of the mansion.

It turns out the stepmother's plan involves selling Oralie to traffickers and removing her from Mary's family's list of heirs. At the same time, the stepmother aims to eliminate Oralie's path to marriage with the Jackson family's son. Instead, her stepdaughter, Jade, will replace Oralie and marry into the prestigious Jackson family.

A sinister plan has been planned in advance and is now almost complete. To Oralie's knowledge, her father left no will, but in reality any will could have been stolen, burned, or destroyed. Oralie is now at risk of losing everything, not inheriting a penny from her father. Furthermore, her father's sudden and tragic death has left her alone, vulnerable, and vulnerable to danger.

In her unstable emotional state, Oralie becomes an easy target for her cruel stepmother to take advantage of. The heinous crime committed was the sale of Oralie across the border. Oralie will be forced to become a prostitute, serving the sexual needs of rich and depraved men. Worse yet, if she encounters adversity or feels trapped, resorting to suicide will not be a concern for the despicable woman.

At the same time, in another place.

"Nolan, where are you going?" James asked, his eyes probing, searching for answers in your gaze.

"I have some personal matters to attend to, James. So, I'll be away for a few days," Nolan replied. This time, he didn't want to disclose where he was going and what he would be doing to anyone, including James, his trusted assistant.

"Is it really necessary, or is there anything I can help with? We've overcome challenges together before," James emphasized, a hint of concern passing through his eyes.

He hesitated, a struggle flickering across his face. "No, James. This is a path I have to walk alone."

James furrowed his brow, shifting to genuine concern. "I understand. As for your date with your fiancée this Saturday, how do you plan to approach it?"

Prompted by James, Nolan remembered that matter. He had been informed by his parents, but unfortunately, he had a more pressing concern than that meeting. After a moment of contemplation, a mischievous smile appeared on Nolan's lips, and he uttered words that left James stunned: "You'll go in my place, James."

James protested. "I can't, Nolan. This is a role I can't take on for you. If your parents find out-"

"Do as I say. I'll bear the consequences," Nolan interrupted, determination in his eyes leaving no room for argument.

As he walked away, James watched his retreating figure, only able to sign helplessly. After all, it was Nolan's command, so James resolved to do his best to fulfill it.

...

Finally, the effects of the sedative wore off, and Oralie began to regain consciousness. Her eyes slowly opened, hazily surveying the unfamiliar surroundings. She found herself on a large bed, her limbs tightly bound. In the midst of confusion and an incomplete understanding of the situation, she was startled by the sudden appearance of a man.

"Where am I? Who are you? What do you want with me?" Oralie tried to stay calm to gather information.

"You don't need to know those trivial things," the cold man said as he untied her. "Just know that tonight, you'll serve the master very well."

The emphasis on the word serve' made Oralie comprehend its ominous meaning. It was undoubtedly something terrible, in her estimation. Without showing panic or fear, Oralie applied her intelligence, daring to negotiate.

"I am a married woman. Please spare me." She lied, quickly kneeling down and pleading.

"We don't care," the man said indifferently.

"Oh, impossible. How could you do such a thing to a married woman? Married women are not comparable to single girls." Oralie tried to persuade further: "Furthermore, I have money. I can pay you a large sum; just let me go."

"You should know that your fate depends on the master. If you serve well, perhaps the master will favor you and show you affection." Regardless of Oralie's sincere words, the man dismissed her.

Oralie gasped in surprise. How dare they decide her future like this? It was utterly reprehensible.

"No, I refuse. I don't want that. Please spare me," Oralie continued to plead.

"Tonight, you serve the master," the man repeated like a parrot.

"I beg you to spare me; I have money. I'll give you everything; just name the price." Oralie still wanted to negotiate.

Without a warning, the man held a leather whip in his hand and swung it horizontally, shattering a vase next to Oralie, leaving her pale and frightened.

"Tonight, you serve the master," he reiterated without missing a beat, maintaining the same rhythm.

The warning strike with the whip made Oralie understand her predicament, and she fell silent, bowing her head. In her heart, she harbored resentment toward the person who had pushed her into this dreadful situation.

"Do you understand your task?" The man lowered the whip, bringing his face close to Oralie's, asking with a threatening tone.

Not wanting to confront the man any further, Oralie obediently nodded in apparent understanding. She thought that was the end of it, but it wasn't. After being satisfied with Oralie's compliant attitude, the man pulled out a pre-filled syringe.

Oralie felt a sense of fear when contemplating the contents of the syringe. "What are you planning to do?" She asked, trying to keep calm.

"This isn't poison; it's just a drug to make you behave and act more appropriately," the man explained. Oralie implicitly understood that this man was referring to aphrodisiacs.

Having said that, he forcefully grabbed Oralie's hand and injected the suspicious substance into her body. Despite Oralie's attempts to resist, she completely failed against the man's strength. After administering the drug and feeling reassured, the man turned away and left the room.

Before completely disappearing, he spoke over his shoulder, informing Oralie,

"Get ready, master will be here soon."

Oralie sighed in relief as the man disappeared from the room. With what had just transpired, Oralie knew she was in grave danger. Therefore, without much thought, she quickly seized a piece of porcelain from under the bed, holding it tightly in her hand. Oralie had decided to take a daring step to save herself. With that determination, she sat on the bed, patiently waiting for the person presumed to be the master to arrive.

Chapter 2 Meeting each other is destiny

A few minutes later, an older man confidently walked into the room. According to Oralie's assessment, he was likely the owner of the man she encountered earlier.

Oralie licked her lips, swallowing tension, and prepared for the self-rescue plan she had devised during the waiting time. However, before she could utter a word, her reaction suddenly turned to apprehension at the alarming behavior of the man.

The lascivious gaze of the man scanned Oralie's body from head to toe. Without saying a word, he aggressively lunged towards Oralie like a hungry predator. He wanted to savor the fresh, cool fragrance of Oralie to the fullest. Oralie's beauty was captivating and exceptionally stunning. She was more beautiful than any girl he had ever known, even surpassing his wife. It was precisely because he was captivated by Oralie's beauty at first sight that he paid a considerable sum to purchase her at the recently concluded auction. This occurred while Oralie was still unconscious, and clearly, she had no knowledge of it.

Quickly grasping the situation, Oralie pretended to tremble in fear and skillfully evaded. She stood up from the bed, causing the man to tumble down onto the mattress.

"Don't run away. Tonight, I will definitely have you," he declared, immediately turning and lunging towards Oralie. This time, Oralie stumbled and fell, making it easy for the man to capture her. He held her tightly, not allowing Oralie to resist.

"You wretch, let me go!" Oralie shouted, relentlessly struggling to break free from his vile grasp.

Ignoring Oralie's perceived futile efforts, he nonchalantly brought his face closer, intending to kiss Oralie's smooth skin. However, Oralie vehemently turned her head, avoiding the disgusting kiss.

"Damn it! Do you want me to use force?" Frustrated by the unsuccessful attempt, he shouted loudly.

In a moment of opportunity, Oralie swiftly stuffed the piece of pottery into the man's mouth and forcefully pushed him away.

"Please don't move," Oralie said in anguish. She knew her actions could have consequences, even potentially causing harm, but she had no other choice. She had to save herself: "If you don't want to die, then listen to me."

Ignoring Oralie's warning, the man, still nameless, rushed towards Oralie, but as he took a half step, his throat seemed to be pierced. The shard of pottery he had swallowed didn't go down into his stomach but lodged horizontally in his throat, causing him to struggle to breathe. The more he moved, the more blood flowed, and finally, he collapsed, entering a state of gasping for breath.

Tears streamed down Oralie's face. She murmured a remorseful apology, "I'm sorry. Just stay still; someone will find you and save you in time."

"I beg for God's mercy and forgiveness if this man dies," Oralie pleaded.

As Oralie spoke, she slowly moved towards the door. She had to find a way to escape quickly. As she swung the door open, Oralie felt disoriented, not knowing which way to go. Following her instincts, Oralie ran without a clear direction, moving forward without knowing what awaited her.

The chaotic sounds behind her made Oralie shudder, forcing her to turn around. They had discovered that their boss was in trouble.

"The boss has been attacked."

"Quick, catch that wretch."

"Don't let it escape."

The clamor of shouts and pounding footsteps echoed in Oralie's ears, causing her to panic. Consequently, as she was running, her footsteps collided with each other, leading to a fall to the floor.

Oh no, Oralie had injured her knees. She felt like her blood was rushing out. However, she couldn't stop. Slowing down now would result in her being caught, and the consequences would be dire. Oralie was certain of that.

She had to keep running. Despite the pain, her instincts compelled her to grit her teeth and run, lowering her head as she fled. Oralie could hear the relentless footsteps chasing her from behind, the chaotic pounding of her own heart, and the taunting cries of those pursuing her.

...

Nolan had just finished a tense conversation with his associate to address some work issues and was on his way back to his room. The time-consuming journey back to his room left Nolan feeling uneasy, and he began to regret the decision to meet his business partner on the "Dream" yacht. As he opened his room door, Oralie ran up to him with a frightened expression. Despite the apparent danger, she decided to take bold action.

Disregarding social norms and propriety, Oralie pushed Nolan, causing him to fall into the room. She then ran in and closed the door behind her. In astonishment and confusion, mixed with an explosive burst of anger and a bit of pain from the impact on his body, Nolan looked up at her, his eyes filled with suspicion and dissatisfaction.

"What the hell are you doing? Who are you?" Nolan glared, angrily shouting.

"Please help me." Oralie looked down at him, breathing heavily, and pleaded, "Please have mercy and help me."

Her pitiful appearance softened his anger easily.

Nolan scrutinized the girl's pale face in front of him, soaked in sweat, and observed the blanket of fear enveloping her. Furthermore, upon closer inspection, Nolan noticed that the girl's dress seemed torn and disheveled, as if someone with a destructive hand had torn through it. Looking down at her feet, he saw blood still flowing from her knees, which were scraped and bruised. Oralie's bare and scratched legs were also visible.

"What happened to you? Your condition looks like..." he began, genuine concern showing on his face, but skepticism lingered in his mind. Considering his position and status, Nolan wasn't easily inclined to trust others. Based on Nolan's preliminary assessment, it was entirely possible that this girl could be a person sent by an enemy to approach him. For now, he needed to feign friendliness to probe Oralie's motives.

Before he could finish his question, there was a knock on the door. Oralie panicked, continuously shaking her head, her eyes desperate, signaling him not to open the door. The knocking persisted, and she seemed reluctant to let anyone know about her presence.

Despite Oralie's desperate pleas, Nolan had to open the door to avoid trouble. He resolutely walked towards the door, while Oralie, following his suggestion, retreated into the corner, standing behind the door, trying not to make any noise that would draw attention.

"May I help you?" Nolan calmly asked the people outside his room as he opened the door.

"Have you seen a girl running through here?" one of them asked Nolan.

"I haven't seen anyone," he replied, denying.

"Really?" The inquirer expressed doubt. According to the direction Oralie ran, she must have passed through here, and Nolan's room was the last one in this corridor. And, of course, this is also a dead end.

"I said I hadn't seen anyone. You're disturbing my sleep," he continued to deny, displaying annoyance.

But they were not satisfied with the answer and boldly made a request.

"Can we check your room?"

"I'm afraid that would be an invasion of someone's privacy." Nolan strongly refused and issued a warning. "I won't allow you to do that. I'll call the ship's manager here if you don't leave."

To avoid things becoming troublesome and news of the boss having an accident reaching others, Reluctantly, they left, and Nolan closed the door. He turned back inside, seeing the lingering panic on Oralie's face. Furthermore, Oralie began to show some unusual signs, indicating that the aphrodisiac had taken effect. Earlier, Oralie had tried to restrain herself, enduring pain and discomfort while tightly gripping the shard from the flower vase in her hand. But now, there was nothing to help Oralie maintain her alertness.

Chapter 3 What happened was due to fate

"Are you okay?" Nolan inquired, noticing Oralie's tightly clenched hands and her efforts to bite back the pain.

"Can I use your bathroom? I need cold water," Oralie requested wearily, quickly moving towards the door that she assumed led to the bathroom. Nolan calmly observed her movements and awaited the next development with excitement and curiosity. Deep down, he had his own suspicions.

As time passed, although Oralie tried to immerse herself in cold water to alleviate the internal heat, it seemed to be ineffective. The aphrodisiac injected into her body is an extremely potent substance.

On Nolan's end, seeing the girl stay in the bathroom for an extended period made him a bit anxious about potential trouble. Consequently, he forcefully knocked on the door.

"Hey, are you okay?" Nolan asked loudly, receiving only silence in response. Feeling uneasy, Nolan was about to break down the door to rush in when it abruptly opened, and Oralie appeared. Suddenly, Nolan's eyes widened from surprise to astonishment as he saw Oralie standing in front of him with only a bath towel wrapped around her.

So his prediction was correct. This girl was trying to seduce him with her body. Nolan felt an urge to laugh heartily at that conclusion. Consequently, he looked at the girl with a hint of amusement and disdain.

"Are you trying to seduce me for some purpose?" Nolan began to speak, but before he could finish his sentence, Oralie silenced him with a kiss. I was briefly surprised, but Nolan then forcefully pushed Oralie away.

Before Nolan could utter curses or even kick her out of the room, Oralie spoke:

"Please help me. I can't take it anymore," Oralie pleaded, her eyes expressing complete helplessness. "No matter what I do, I can't escape this uncomfortable feeling. Can you help me... or kill me?"

Observing Oralie's desperate demeanor and noticing the scratches all over her body, Nolan realized that she had been drugged by an aphrodisiac. To control herself, Oralie had intentionally inflicted wounds on her own body. However, in the end, she still couldn't resist the dreadful effects of the drug. Her courageous actions left Nolan slightly amazed and impressed. Yet doubts about her true motives and background lingered in his mind, and he refused to let go.

"Please," Oralie pleaded, trembling and almost collapsing to the floor. Seeing her in such a state, Nolan felt a twinge of pity.

"I can help you, but I won't take responsibility for you afterward," Nolan warned coldly.

"That's fine; I will not demand responsibility from you." Oralie accepted because, at this point, her only reason for wanting to live was to exact revenge on the person who had caused her so much pain. The one who had forced her to sacrifice valuable assets to survive. And from what little consciousness remained, she thought that someone like Nolan was better than the man who had bid on her before. And who knows? Maybe in the future, she won't encounter the handsome man in front of her again.

Nolan said nothing more; he approached Oralie and began to assist her. Honestly, Nolan couldn't resist the seductive and enticing figure of Oralie. And in his mind, if this girl was sent by the enemy to approach him, he would play along and have some fun with her. Afterward, dealing with her wouldn't be a problem.

They initiated with a slow kiss, progressing from hesitant caresses to an escalating intensity that heightened over time.

"You are a virgin." Nolan exclaimed with a hint of panic, halting his actions when he discovered that the girl was still a virgin. This was something Nolan did not expect. Typically, the girls chosen by enemies to approach him had more experience.

"Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter now," Oralie replied wearily, trying to downplay the painful truth.

"Aren't you remorseful?" Nolan asked sincerely. If she wanted, he could stop in time.

"It's inevitable, but I have a strong reason to live. So... you don't need to feel sorry for me," Oralie said sincerely.

If Oralie said so, Nolan had no further objections. He regained his composure and continued his actions. That night, Oralie officially became a woman. She felt guilty towards her future husband, but for the sake of survival and revenge, she had to accept this sacrifice.

...

At this moment, in the mansion that belonged to Mary's family,.

Mrs. Daisy Cook was sitting on the sofa, enjoying her coffee, when Jade came down from upstairs. Seeing her mother on the sofa, she walked closer and inquired.

"Mom, is there something you want to talk to me about?"

"This Saturday, do you have any plans?" Her mother asked eagerly.

"On that day, I'm going to attend a friend's birthday party." Jade hesitated as she added, "Mom, could you give me some money to buy a gift for my friend?"

"Forget it." Mrs. Daisy's voice was cold as she issued the command.

"But, Mom, please." Jade jumped up, raising her voice. "You've never forbidden or forced me to do anything before. Why are you acting strange today?"

Knowing her daughter misunderstood her, Mrs. Daisy tried to remain calm to explain:

"There's no birthday. You have to accompany me to a dinner gathering."

"So boring." Jade complained, slouching onto the sofa. "The gathering is yours; why drag me into it? Older people talk about things that don't interest young people like me."

"This is a very important matter. You must be present." Mrs. Daisy emphasized it sternly.

"What's so important?" Jade retorted, "Why does it involve me?"

"You're about to be introduced to your future husband's family, dear." Mrs. Daisy informed her, leaving Jade gaping. "Reconsider your behavior and actions. Don't cause any trouble to make me lose face."

Hearing that, Jade immediately showed her opposition:

"I told you, Mom, I wouldn't get married. Why do you keep forcing me?" She raised her head defiantly, speaking almost as if shouting at her mother.

"Jade..."

Jade cut her off, not letting her mother speak. Her tone was scornful as she continued:

"Do you even know what kind of person Nolan Jackson is? He's not only cruel and ugly but also lame. I heard he even enjoys violence against women. Does Mom want her daughter to marry someone like him?"

"If you insist, I'll die to show you."

Jade screamed, adamantly opposing this arranged marriage. Why did she have to replace Oralie to marry Nolan? This was absolutely unacceptable. The more she thought about it, the more furious Jade became.

"Who told you such absurd things about Nolan Jackson?" Mrs. Daisy tried to control her emotions, seeking to understand the situation.

"Everyone out there is talking about him, Mom. I hear it all." Jade chuckled through tears and blamed, "You don't love me, do you?"

Mrs. Daisy reflected for a moment and then spoke.

"We don't know the real truth. It's just rumors. You'd better not listen indiscriminately, threatening yourself."

"It must be true for people to talk, Mom." Jade argued loudly, "Why would they make up stories?"

Unable to present a better argument, Mrs. Daisy found another excuse to pressure Jade.

"Even if that's the case, so what? They have money and power, my dear. Nolan is the heir of the Jackson family. You'll have a comfortable life as his wife."

"Are you sure I'll be treated well in that family? Or will it not be as you expect?" Jade asked a very wise question.

Mrs. Daisy immediately responded with confidence, relying on some basis that wasn't clear. Maybe she's too delusional.

"Trust me, Jade. They won't dare to mistreat you. The promise between the Jack and Mary families is not a joke. It's like a curse. Anyone who goes against it will face consequences."

"What are you basing that on?"

"On intuition and my calculations, don't worry; I won't let you suffer. Whatever you want, I'll make sure you get it." Mrs. Daisy tried to reassure her daughter. She promised Jade that she wouldn't let her be disadvantaged. However, Jade still had no intention of submitting.

"But I don't like it, Mom. Please don't force me." Jade expressed her thoughts directly, infuriating Mrs. Daisy.

"No more talking." Mrs. Daisy asserted with a threatening tone, "I told you to listen. If you dare to resist, I will cut off all your allowances. You will have to work to earn your own money."

"You can't do that, Mom." Jade exclaimed, showing strong resentment, "If you do that, I'll die to show you. When that time comes,

"Try it and see. I'll show you how weighty my words are. If you choose death, it's your loss." Mrs. Daisy showed no leniency in the face of her daughter's threats. She maintained her firm and stern demeanor.

"Mom, please reconsider." Jade pleaded, tightly holding Mrs. Daisy's hands. How could she marry someone as vile as the rumors suggested? It was hard to accept. It was all Oralie's fault.

"No turning back." Mrs. Daisy decisively ended the argument by saying, "On that day, you should prepare yourself to look elegant and beautiful. Don't embarrass me."

In the end, Jade reluctantly complied with Mrs. Daisy's wishes. Resisting would only bring her more suffering, and Jade didn't want to live a miserable life, being looked down upon by others.
