Giselle's POV
Yesterday, I turned eighteen and discovered that my mate was none other than Lois, the Alpha of our Pack. I was ecstatic to share the news with my Father, who couldn't come home due to his duty as the Beta.
"He'll be happy to know I am Lois' mate, right?" I asked myself as I opened the door of our house.
However, upon entering, I saw my stepsister kneeling before my stepmother Miren, crying.
"Mom! Please! You know that I'll die if I marry that rogue! Please! Do something!"
My stepsister, Samantha, was boastful, arrogant, and confident. So, I was shocked to see her groveling on the ground while crying.
"I can't marry him! Please!"
But when I heard her plea for the second time, I realized why Samantha was in a mess. It hasn't been a long time since a rumor spread around the Pack – that the cursed rogue was looking for his mate.
'If Samantha was crying and begging like this, does it mean she's the mate of the infamous Steven?'
I damn near choked on my own breath and clamped my hand over my trap. That's when Samantha locked eyes with me. I was like a deer in headlights, knowing damn well trouble was on the horizon.
"You!" Samantha shouted before running toward my side.
My guts were right.
"Your little fantasy was to wed and flee this hellish place, right?"
Her eyes glistened with tears, yet her smile was askew, hinting at a mischievousness lurking beneath its eerie facade.
"Then, marry Steven instead! Marry that cursed rogue and get lost!"
My muscles quivered with rage deep within my being. My lifelong aspiration was to escape the clutches of my wretched stepmother and stepsister. So why on earth would I stoop so low as to wed a replacement for her? THIS IS NOT FAIR!
"Samantha was right," my stepmother, Miren, sneered. "Save your precious sister, Giselle! Sacrifice yourself like the pathetic little pawn you are!"
I stumbled back in shock. I always knew they despised me, but to willingly send me to my death? I never realized just how twisted and malevolent they truly were.
"No," I answered, defying their orders, which wasn't usual. "I cannot marry him, Samantha. My mate isn't Steven, but the Alpha of our Pack! I am Lois's mate!"
Samantha's grin contorted into a sickening sneer, and her pupils widened with lunacy. Without warning, she shoved me with all her might, sending me crashing into the dirt.
"Ugh!" I groaned, clutching my throbbing body.
"You really think you can just waltz in here and have your way with Alpha Lois? Ha! Take a good look at yourself in the mirror, honey. You're a sorry excuse for a woman - ugly, skinny, and completely worthless. You're not fit to be our Pack's Luna, that's for damn sure," Samantha spat, her words dripping with venom.
As she spoke, I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the shiny stainless-steel pot on the table.
My body was painfully thin, my skin almost translucent.
Miren and Samantha never gave me enough food, even though I was responsible for cooking. I was lucky if I got to eat once a day.
"A rat in the dumpster would rather marry you, Giselle!" Samantha added while walking closer to my side.
I crawled backward.
"Did you forget that Lois was infatuated with me since we were young? I am prettier and sexier than a piece of twig like you! Lois is mine! I should be the Luna!"
Gritting my teeth, I gave her a spiteful look and answered, "Lois is my mate. Even if he likes you, he cannot escape the bond the Goddess of Moon bestowed between us. And now that I turned eighteen, I believe Lois will like me back someday."
"Shut up!"
"Ahh!"
Samantha delivered a vicious slap that left my cheek throbbing with agony.
"Lois is off-limits to you, you pathetic excuse for a wolf! You belong to the cursed rogue of Blood Rose Pack!" she screeched.
And as if that wasn't enough, she followed it up with a brutal kick to my gut, sending searing pain radiating through my ribcage.
"Ugh!"
I inhaled deeply, feeling a sharp pang in my lungs. My stomach twisted into knots as I spewed blood, each heave causing my already aching ribs to scream in agony.
"You're only doing this because you despise me, Samantha," I gasped, barely audible. "Please, I beg of you. Just leave me, and Lois be. Once we're wed, I'll vanish from your life forever."
Samantha's gaze bore down on me, a wicked grin spreading across her face. She planted her foot on my legs, eliciting a shrill cry of pain from my lips.
"Ahhh!"
"And that's the problem, my dear b*tchy sister," Samantha uttered. "I could not accept that I was destined to marry a cursed bastard when you have a good life ahead! I would never accept that! Never!"
Her hand was poised to strike me again, but Miren intervened, preventing her from carrying out her vicious intent.
"Ugh, Samantha, enough already! Your Father could walk in any moment, and if he catches you laying a hand on Giselle, he'll flip his sh*t!" Miren spat. It wasn't out of concern for me, but rather her fear of getting caught abusing me.
Gasping for air, Samantha glared down at me like I was some insignificant insect.
"Listen up, you little b*tch," Samantha growled. "Lois is mine, and I'll stop at nothing to snatch him away from you."
And then she left the house.
Frightened to stay here any longer, I fled and made my way to the Pack's infirmary, a place I had grown all too familiar with after countless thrashings at the hands of my loathsome stepsister and stepmother.
"You're here again. And you have many wounds and bruises tonight, Giselle," Doctor Mark said.
I lowered my head and pursed my lips.
"It's impossible that you got all these just because you're clumsy. Please, Giselle. Be kind to yourself. Tell me what's wrong, and I will quickly tell this to your Father."
My heart aches as I think of my Father, the Beta of our Pack. Despite his position of power, I could never bring myself to confide in him about the horrors I endured at the hands of my stepmother and stepsister. I was too weak, too afraid to reveal the truth.
'Tell him what's wrong! Miren and Samantha were too much!' even my wolf, Fatima, whom I only met after my birthday, urged me to reveal the wicked truth.
I parted my lips, ready to reveal the secrets weighing heavily on my mind that I had kept from my Father for far too long.
But just as I was about to speak, my phone began to vibrate in my pocket, interrupting my train of thought.
Who could be contacting me at such a crucial moment?
I gave in to my curiosity and pulled out my phone, my eyes scanning the screen for any indication of who the message might be from.
'The sender is from an unknown number.'
Without hesitation, I opened the message, my eyes widening in shock as I read the words on the screen.
["Hello, Giselle. This is Lois. There's something I need to tell you. Meet me."]
It was from Alpha Lois, my mate, and the message was short and to the point.
My heart skipped a beat, and my head raced with questions and possibilities.
What could Alpha Lois want to tell me? And why did he choose to contact me now, of all the time?
Despite countless uncertainty, my heart burst with excitement and anticipation! And without a second thought, I leaped out of my hospital bed and sprinted towards the door, eager to meet my destined wolf companion!
Lois's POV
My mate happens to be the offspring of the esteemed Beta Jace – Giselle.
She may possess a modicum of beauty, potentially even the most attractive female within our Pack. However, her physique is frail and feeble, rendering her incapable of satiating my insatiable desires or fulfilling her duties as the Luna of the Black Fur Pack.
If there's someone more suitable for the position, I think that is my mate's stepsister, Samantha.
"Why does it have to be Giselle and not Samantha?"
Thanks a lot, Moon Goddess. You really outdid yourself with this one.
Knock knock.
I looked at the door, where I heard a knock. As I sauntered towards the door, I couldn't help but notice the alluring scent wafting from behind it.
With a flick of my wrist, I swung it open and saw a sight that left me utterly flabbergasted.
There stood Samantha, clad in a provocative dress and sporting a seductive grin. The mere sight of her sent my manhood into overdrive.
"What are you doing here, Samantha?"
"Hi, Lois."
My insatiable sexual appetite was stirred by the mere sound of her sultry voice.
Samantha's body has been my ultimate pursuit for years, but my efforts were in vain.
However, it seems that my irresistible charm and undeniable prowess have finally caught her attention, as she is now making the first move.
Did the laws of nature reverse themselves?
Or has she finally come to the realization that I am the alpha wolf, the cream of the crop, the one and only?
"I must say, I was quite surprised to see you here," I declared with a hint of superiority in my tone.
Samantha sauntered closer, daring to touch me with her hands around my neck. I couldn't help but smirk at her audacity.
With a flick of my tongue, I sneered at her. "Are you even aware that your stepsister is my mate?"
Her response only fueled my ego. "Of course, I am aware. That's precisely why I am here. It pains me to know that the man I truly love is my stepsister's mate."
'She loves me?!'
"Will you really choose Giselle over me? Huh?"
A more delicious meal came to me on its own. Why must I follow the Goddess of the Moon when Samantha offered herself?
Smirking, I arrogantly encircled my arms around her waist.
"Lois," she uttered my name before impulsively planting her lips on mine.
She kissed with such fervor, thrusting her tongue at the crevice of my lips. She delved into every nook and cranny, igniting a fiery desire within me.
I seized the back of her head and reciprocated her savage tongue assault. Her fragrance drove me wild. Every time her flesh brushed against mine, I was consumed by a scorching heat.
The wolf inside my head growled.
'F*ck her, Lois! Make her yours!' my wolf, Max, urged me to follow my beastly instinct.
And I gladly heeded my lustful wolf's command. Pulling my lips out of her lips, I looked at Samanth and whispered, "I've been waiting for you for many years, my lovely Samantha."
With a growl, I bent down and licked her neck.
"Hmmm, ahhh, Lois~."
Sweet moans rolled from her tongue. Her pleasure was mine to give and take as I pleased.
"You have no idea how long I have fantasized about claiming your body," I boasted as I groped her clothed bosom.
"Ahhh, Lois..."
My hands went on the hemline of her dress. I was about to unveil the treasure I had coveted for so long, but Samantha dared to resist my advances by holding my wrist.
My sharp gray eyes looked back at her with ferocity.
What kind of food stopped someone from having his delicious meal?
"Lois, do you want to sleep with me tonight?" she asked.
"Seriously? Do you even need to ask? It's quite obvious what my heart and body crave, my dear lady," I responded with a hint of superiority.
Samantha wrapped her hands around my neck. She leaned so close that her lips bumped onto mine whenever she spoke.
"But before I even consider letting you f*ck me, there's something you need to do for me," she said. "Prove your worth, and then I'll let you have a taste."

Giselle's POV
I was beyond thrilled when I got my mate's message!
I didn't even hesitate for a second before sprinting towards the woods.
The moon was beaming so brilliantly, casting a magical glow over the border of the Black Fur territory. And there, standing in all his glory, was my beloved Lois, eagerly waiting for me.
His luscious blonde locks shimmer like pure gold. And when Lois' piercing gray eyes met mine, they sparkled like the most exquisite jewels in the world.
I could feel his excitement radiating off him, making me feel over the moon!
"I am happy to see you come, Giselle," Lois said.
My Alpha was happy to see me. I couldn't believe this! I am so elated that my body would float and dance on the clouds.
I eagerly nodded my head and responded, "Absolutely, Alpha. I would never dream of defying your orders." H
e beamed with pride and walked closer to me, saying, "As expected of you, Giselle!"
"Then, may I ask why you wanted to see me suddenly? And what do you want to talk about?"
Lois didn't bother with words as he sauntered over to me. He yanked me in close, and before I knew it, his hand was up my skirt and exploring my most intimate parts.
"H-Hold on a second!"
I tried to protest, but my inner wolf, Fatima, was already purring with delight at the touch of our mate. The Pack had warned me that this was all part of the bonding process, but I couldn't help feeling a sense of terror as Lois's fingers danced over my most sensitive areas!
"No! Stop it!"
I struggled to break free from his grasp, but the primal force of this Alpha male was too much for me. His hand relentlessly explored the most intimate parts of my body, sending shivers down my spine and igniting a fire I couldn't resist.
"Ahhh," a moan escaped from my lips. "N-No..."
My protests were feeble, mere whispers in the face of his overpowering desire. He didn't care about my consent; he only wanted to satisfy his own lustful cravings.
As his fingers delved deeper into my undergarment, I felt a mixture of pleasure and pain that left me gasping for air.
"P-Please stop! I don't want this, Lois!"
I begged him to stop, but he only laughed and continued his assault on my body.
At that moment, I realized I was nothing but a plaything for this dominant Alpha male.
"Lois, I despise this! Stop it!" I snarled, my voice dripping with contempt.
Max's teeth were clenched in anger, and I braced myself for the worst. But instead of releasing me, he tore at my clothing ferociously, making my blood run cold.
Riiiiip!
Terror gripped me as I struggled to break free from his grasp. "Let me go!" I screamed, pushing against him with all my might.
Finally, his grip slackened, and I made a break for it. But before I could get far, he lashed out and struck me across the face with a brutal force that sent me reeling.
"Ack!" I cried out in pain, collapsing to the ground in a heap.
At that moment, reality twisted into a labyrinth. My vision swirled with a sickening mix of letdown, loathing, and self-reproach. I quivered on the ground, clutching my throbbing cheek where he'd struck me.
As my bleary gaze lifted, I was met with his contemptuous smirk.
"You thought you could be my Luna, but you can't even fulfill my carnal desires?" Lois taunted.
"L-Lois," I sobbed his name.
He showed no mercy towards my agony, staring at me with spurn as if I were a bug.
"Pathetic. A mere slap, and you're already groveling like a worm. You're nothing but a weakling, Giselle. You should be grateful that I even considered f*cking you, but now, I'm repulsed. You're utterly disgusting."
His cruel words pierced my heart like a dagger.
How could my supposed mate be so wicked?
I couldn't fathom how I had spent years dreaming of a blissful future with this monster.
"I'd rather die than marry a wench like you," he spat before delivering a swift kick to my already bruised thighs, courtesy of Samantha.
The pulsating anguish shot through my entire being, leaving me trembling in shock.
'I need to escape this hellhole,' I thought to myself, desperately scanning the surrounding forest for any sign of salvation.
"Is a-anyone out there! C-Can anyone hear me?" I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping against hope that someone, anyone, would come to my rescue.
"Listen to me, Giselle," Lois spoke commandingly as I instinctively crawled backward away from him. "As the Alpha of the Black Fur Pack, I, Lois, have rejected you as my mate, Giselle, of the same pack."
I was stunned and motionless, unable to process the weight of his words. Slowly, I turned my head to face him, my eyes wide with disbelief.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through my head, causing me to cry out in agony.
"Argh! Ahhh!"
My body felt like flames were consuming it; every inch of me was wracked with unbearable pain.
Is this the agony they all spoke of when your mate rejected you? If so, I can attest that this pain is enough to shatter my heart into a million pieces.
"Ahhh... Haaa," I moaned in pain, attempting to push myself up. But my limbs felt heavy and unresponsive. It was as though my body was betraying me, refusing to obey my commands.
'I can't take it anymore. I felt like dying.'
The world around me began to spin, and I felt myself slipping into darkness. The last thing I remember was Lois's voice, echoing in my mind like a haunting melody.
And then....
"We need to hurry and send this b*tch out, Lois," Samantha's voice rang into my ear before I fell into the dark abyss.
Steven's POV
A rumor spread that I was looking for my bride. It wasn't true. However, I knew why such words scattered around the Packs, which caused terror for everyone.
It was because the Alpha of Blood Rose Pack, Zean, announced that he wanted to give me a bride as a gift for guarding the borderline of his Pack – Something that I would never dare to have.
Why should I ever dare to take a bride?
My cursed soul brings nothing but death and despair.
My friends, they all perished, for they thought my curse was naught but a lie.
'I am but a lonely rogue, doomed to wander this world alone.'
If it weren't for the dying words of Zean's father, I'd have left the Blood Rose pack long ago. But here I am, wandering these desolate woods, haunted by the memory of his plea.
["Protect my son, Zean. Protect him and the Blood Rose Pack."]
I can't shake the weight of those words. They cling to me like a shroud, a constant reminder of my duty.
With a determined clench of my fists, I admonished myself to cast aside any frivolous musings and concentrate on the purpose of my journey to the Alpha's house.
'As a werewolf, I am bound by an unbreakable code of honor - promises made must be kept, vows must be fulfilled,' these words echoed in my mind like a powerful incantation, propelling me forward until I stood before the Alpha's doorstep.
As I entered the room, my gaze fell upon the Alpha of the Blood Rose Pack, seated regally on the sofa. Our eyes locked momentarily, but I quickly averted my gaze in deference.
"Greetings to the Alpha of the Blood Rose," I said, dropping to one knee and crossing my arm over my chest.
"Steven, my dear friend, there's no need for such formalities," Zean replied, permitting me to rise. I stood, meeting his gaze once more.
Zean, the Alpha of the Blood Rose Pack, exudes a welcoming aura and speaks with a soothing tone. He is the offspring of Leon and the individual entrusted to my care.
"I came here to report on the security situation around the border. Three rogues attempted to enter the territory, but I handled them. You don't have to worry. The pack is secure," I informed.
A heavy silence permeated the room, broken only by Zean's footsteps as he rose from his seat.
He approached me with purpose, stopping directly in front of me.
"Your reports are consistently concise and to the point," he remarked hushedly. "Yet the message remains clear. You handled the situation with skill and efficiency."
Zean's eyes flicker, but I can't tell what he's thinking. Why does he seem annoyed even though I gave him the good news? His eyes remind me of Leon's; he always looks like he's hiding something.
'But I hope it's just because of my curse.'
"Steven, your performance was exceptional, as always. The pack is indebted to you," Zean stated with a smile.
"I am merely fulfilling my duties," I responded. "Furthermore, your generosity in allowing a rogue like me to remain around the borderline of your pack is enough for me to feel indebted."
"If only you don't have a curse that can kill everyone near you, I might let you come in and out as many as you like, Steven."
My heart shattered into a million pieces. A heavy weight of exhaustion consumed me, draining every ounce of my being as I reminisced about my friends who died due to my curse. Yet, I held back the tears. I convinced myself that I had no right to weep for their demise.
"Alpha Zean," I said, looking back into his eyes again. "There's also one reason why I visited you."
"And that is?"
"I heard that you asked your wolf soldiers to find my mate. I begged you to stop the search. I don't want to get married; moreover, meet my mate."
"Is that so?" he inquired, feigning ignorance about why my curse prevented me from meeting my mate. "Well, well. What's to be done? I've just received word that your mate has been delivered to your cabin."
My eyes grew bigger, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Zean!" I exclaimed, my voice louder than usual.
I was infuriated that he had taken such a reckless action without seeking my permission.
"Why did you do that? That wolf's life is in danger if she remains with me!"
Despite knowing about my curse, he had brought her into my cabin.
"I don't give a damn about that girl," Zean spat, making my blood boil. "All I care about is you, Steven. You've been wallowing in self-pity for years. It's pathetic to be alone."
My fists clenched and unclenched behind my back.
How dare he act like my feelings don't matter? If this isn't Zean, I swear I'll unleash my fury on whoever stands before me.
"Now, return to your cabin, as your mate may feel scared if she wakes up alone," advised Zean.
I didn't require Zean's reminder, as I knew the situation.
Upon hearing his unexpected news, I promptly returned to my cabin without even bidding farewell to the Alpha.
My priority was to reassure my mate and alleviate any concerns she may have had.
Without delay, I sprinted through the dense forest and arrived at my cabin in no time.
As I stood before the entrance, a tantalizing aroma of sweetness and pungency wafted into my nostrils, causing me to wrinkle my nose in delight.
Could this be the unmistakable fragrance of my mate?
Filled with a mixture of sadness and disappointment, I walked inside. As I approached the bedroom, the smell intensified.
Creak.
With a spine-tingling creak, the ancient door slowly swung open, revealing a mysterious and shadowy room illuminated only by the moon's soft glow.
And there, lying on my bed, was a delicate and ethereal woman with long, flowing locks of silver hair cascading around her like a shimmering waterfall.
Her skin was as pale as the moon itself, and her frail form seemed as though it could be shattered with the slightest touch.
As I gazed upon her, my mind went completely silent, as if someone had hit the mute button on my thoughts.
She was a vision of otherworldly beauty, but her body was too thin.
By the light of the moon, I could see the marks of brutality etched into her skin.
'What kind of pack could have treated her like that?'
My wolf, Yel, growled in anger, but I couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for this poor woman.
As I approached her, I was struck by her stunning beauty. But alas, my heart knew the bitter truth.
"She wasn't my mate."
The excitement Yel and I felt was fleeting, leaving me utterly disappointed.
But then, as if fate had a twisted sense of humor, I found myself standing before a stunning girl who had no connection to my wolf.
I tried to convince myself that I wouldn't feel anything, but as she moved, my nerves were on edge. And when her eyelids fluttered open, my heart raced with anticipation.
"Hmmm!"
With a groan, she sat up, wincing in pain.
Her eyes scanned the room, trying to make sense of her surroundings.
Suddenly, she locked eyes with me and recoiled, hugging herself in a defensive stance. Her emerald eyes widened in fear, and her parched lips parted in confusion.
"W-Who are you? W-Where am I?" she stammered, her face contorting with worry.
As the only person in the room, I stepped forward and introduced myself.
"My name is Steven," I said, hoping to ease her anxiety. "And you're in the borderline of Blood Rose Pack."
With a flicker of recognition, her face strained even more.
"S-Steven?" she asked. "You mean... you are the CURSED ROGUE!"
