The Blood Of An Hybrid

As i was running in the wood a pack of wolves was after me but i don't have the intention to fight so I ignore them as I continue sprinting forward.

Suddenly one of them overtake me and slash my face with it's claw, but the wound heal almost immediately.

Pardon my manners my name is Christie i'm an hybrid i possess the ability of both werewolves and vampires and my system is also good at repelling magic, though i have some other abilities that you will get to know as time goes on.

That is the reason why I'm wanted by supernaturals that wish for more powers(because he's an hybrid), let us get back to where i stopped.

I was full of rage as i remove my swords from it's shealth, by this time the wolves were ready to tear me apart when their alpha grunt, "hybrid we meet again"

i reply him with a glowing eyes and he laugh out loud

" you can't escape my pack today, i will kill you and become the most powerful supernatural creature out there" he said admist laughter

But I'm not suprise because that is not the first time i will be attacked by a pack of wolves, I was just irritated because I'll gain nothing from killing them, the worst is that the traces of our fight will invite the more powerful enemies.

"Huuuuh" I sighed as I ready myself for a slaughter.

"Attack!!" The alpha calls out and the wolves all charged at me with their blue eyes(betas), and i also charge at them with my swords.

one of the wolves levitate and try to slash me by the neck but i move away slightly to the left and cut off it's head diagonally and it drop down dead.

"Roar!!!" The alpha seeing one of his betas dead roars out loud and the betas went bersark at once.

"Bersark mode huh" I said uninterested.

i stood still and allow them to come close to me before i levitated and land on the closet on with a kick, another one try to give me a claw punch but I outsmart it as I punch it twice in the mouth and it flew away crashing on a three.

The alpha seeing this, attack by himself and we engaged in a fight, he tried to kick me but i did a back flip and i land my kick on one of the betas that also tried to attack me from the back.

The alpha came for me again as he tried to claw my face, i move to the beta next to me as i kick it's head to propel myself up with a 90° roll to the back of the alpha and i gave him a punch on the back shattering it's spinal cord.

It groan as it drop dead.

The betas seeing this run for their life's, I pick my hat and sheath from the floor and speed out of the wood.

"I need to get to the Netrice village before dawn or i get attacked by another creatures that are thirsty for power" i thought to myself as I was running out of the woods with the speed of light.

As I was running deep into the woods, I saw about five vampire's fighting with a wolf girl.

I slow down and hide watching the live battle between the girl and the vampires.

The girl was dodging all their attacks but when it got to a point she can no longer keep up with their attacks and they started beating the hell out of her. Kicking and trashing her around.

One of the vampires landed a kick on her face and she flew away hitting her back on a nearby tree crushing the tree in the process.

But to my utmost surprise the girl did a Chinese getup and shapeshift to big wolf before landing on all fours and roared majestically to showcase her prowess.

"this would be interesting" I thought getting engrossed in their face off.

The vampires seeing the girl transformed brought sliver daggers out of thier sleeves and attack the wolf girl together with an unimaginable speed.

The girl leapt into the sky dodging a slash and she retaliate with a diagonal swipe hitting two of the vampires with her claw and they flew away crashing on a trunk in the process.

The other three attack her at once but she was keeping up with all their attacks. After fighting for some minute the wound of the other two heal up and they join the assault again ganging up on the poor girl.

At some point the wolf girl was getting weaker and weaker due to tiredness.

One of the vampires tried to thrust his dagger into her stomach, but she dodge the attack by moving right she deliver a punch to the vampire's face and he lost balance.

The wolf girl jump after him as he was staggering backward and she cut his head off his body with her pointy claws.

The rest became angry as their eyes started glowing deep red, the girl seeing this ran to the opposite direction with her full speed, but the vampires made a big mistake by chasing her.

I followed after them quietly trying to see what will happen.

Seeing that the vampires follow her she grinned and I knew the vampires had fell into her trap.Suddenly the wolf girl did a flip and landed her left feet on a tree, she use the force to roll in the air and strike all the vampires with lightning, I watched as they drop down dead at her foot.

"Climate wolf huh!!" I muttered.

The girl transform back to human and she was pating hard I think the fight took a toll on her.

I check her out and I was wowed by her beauty.

She has a long blue hair couple with her blue eyes that was shining in the darkness. And she possess a killer shape with a cute but mature face.

"She's a goddess" I thought.

As I was drooling I notice a weak hand throwing a dagger at the girl. The knife was moving at a crazy speed.

I tried to warn her but she wasn't concentrating on her surroundings. She's busy trying to regain her loss strength.

"She will die if I don't do something" I sighed.

So i decided to save her life. I teleported close to her and I push her away from the dagger.

I try to dodge to the side but it is impossible to dodge because the dagger is just half a inch away from me.

It plunged into my chest and I felt it touching my heart.

"Argghhhh"I growl in pain trying to keep me eyes open with difficulty.

I saw the girl moving closer to the half dead vampire who threw the knife.She stump on his head. His brain matter scattered, littering the ground and he died immediately.

She move close to me grinning and know she's about to do at once.

"She wants my power" I muttered to myself regretting my decision.

she kneel down beside me and whispered

"you will see hell"

"So this is the end"I thought.

She remove the knife from my chest and let out an evil laughter.

I glare at her coldly until

everything became dark.

A vampire could be seen as he ran into a dark cave and bow.

"clara i found the bodies of the team we sent, they are found in the woods lifeless, seems the girl kill them" the man inform clara before leaving her presence immediately after delivering the message.

"i need to get the wolf girl to become a full witch, get the hybrid. The I will have a chance to revive lord kyle up from his long time slumber"

" I need to keep my the promise that I've made to him" said the suppose clara in thought.

"Vampires get me the climate wolf" She shout at her subordinate. They dare not disobey her order.

"you must bring her here before daybreak" she added and the vampires move into the woods with incredible speed.

" We need to visit the great alpha of the wolf council. It will be great to get the wolves on our side" she said to her commander.

The clash was caused by the first known hybrid, called lord kyle.

Kyle is cruel to the extent of killing over 3000 vampires in a single day (note: killing them all by himself in rage).

They both plan to execute mother creature.

Kyle knowing that the wolves will be an obstacle to his ambition strike the wolves unknowingly during twilight, slaughtering them with the help of the vampires.

He then went head to head against mother creature with his vampires .

They all fought endlessly with mother creature and her warriors, but mother creature and her warriors have the upper hand.

The vampires seeing no hope of victory fled from the battle. Running as far as their leg could carry them.

And Kyle and his mate Clara were left to face the assault of mother creature and thousands of warriors.

Kyle fought with all his might, but he was later overpowered by mother creature.

She capture Kyle and drain all his blood.

She did this because she doesn't wish to kill her beloved creature with her own hands.

Kyle seeing that he has lost told clara to run for her life.

"I promise to get you out one day' Clara whispered.

Then she out smart the two warriors that was pinning her down.

She quickly chant a spell and she disappeared immediately..

Mother creature decide to let her go.

And after draining all kyle's blood, mother creature lock him up in an ancient tomb and seal the tomb with a powerful spell that can only be broken by an hybrid blood.

And she later made Christie from kyle's blood.

"go and fulfill your destiny" she said to him before sending him out.

I open my eyes slowly,

I expect to find myself in Hades but I found myself in a hut. I looked around the house and I saw a girl who clad in pink gown sitting at the conner of the room.

She has face covered with her long black hair.

I tried to remember where I've met the girl but I couldn't remember.

I help myself up, and I sat down on the wooden bed resting my back on the wall.

I check my wound but it has healed as expected. Then I continue by trying to connect with my wolf and vampire self but it was fruitless.

"Huuu!!"" I sighed

"hey" I said to the girl in am attempt to start a conversation with her.

She raise her head up and look in my direction and I was shocked.

Creak!!!!! I hit my and on the wooden bed as soon was trying to find my swords.

"if I wanted to kill you, you will have been dead for a week" she said with a smug.

"so I've been unconscious for a whole week" I thought as I calm my nerves.

"It seems I'm hallucinating" I thought.

"thanks for saving my life" she said with a sweet voice.

"It is my duty" I replied.

"Huh did I just say that" I asked myself internally.

" what's your name?" she asked.

"am Christie by name and you?"

"you can call me sarah" she reply.

"ok" I said.

The atmosphere was awkward between us until she asked me a big question.

"who are you?" she asked looking directly into my eyes.

"I don't get you" I answered with an innocent look.

"don't even try to act smart, I know you aren't a mortar neither am i, so don't play dump" she said with a smirk.

"I need to hide my identity from her, no one is to be trusted afterall, and besides I barely know her" I thought.

"answer me Chris" she said with pout.

"She's cute"

"Huh!! What's happening to me"

"I don't know what you are saying" I replied looking side ways

"then how did you manage to save me from a sliver dagger in a seconds?" she asked

"i just saw the knife coming and I decide to save you" I answered.

"you know you aren't good at lying" she said as she move closer to me.

"what is she up to" I thought,

She sat down besides me on the bed, held my left wrist and look straight into my eyes.

"serah wh..whh.what are you up to" I stuttered.

I've not finish the statement before she use her claw to pierce my wrist and unsurprisingly the wound heal immediately.

"Now can you explain that" she smirk.

"what kind of crazy girl is this?"

"She just caught me red handed. Anyway she seems to be harmless, I should be able to trust her, and moreover I will hev been long dead if she wish to kill me" I thought.

"I am an hybrid" I said look into her eyes.

"spare me my lord" she screamed in fear as she bow down before me.

"Huh!!"

"You better get up, I don't get time for such shit" I said pulling her to her sit.

"thank you my lord" she said.

"My name is Christie you know that already so don't call me that shit of a lord again" he said.

I didn't reply him.

"how could such a young man be the notorious hybrid"

"maybe he's old enough to be my ancestors who knows"

"But I've been feeling some kind of connection with him"

"Hope it's not what am thinking" I was lost in my own thought before I was jolted out by his voice.

"hey am hungry, did you have anything that I can eat?"

"yea I got some fish here" I answered passing the bowl of fish that I prepare earlier to him,

He collected it from me and started eating.

"you have eaten right?" he asked.

"few hours ago" I replied not daring to look him in the eyes.

After eating the fish soup given to me by serah, I feel connected with my wolfy and vampire self again.

"Great to have you guys back" I said to them telepathically.

And they both say the word I fear the most.

"MATE!!", they chorus out.

Sarah looked at me stylishly with an embarrassed expression and I avoid her gaze.

"She knew already" I thought.

"Sarah I don't think I can accept you as my mate" I voiced out

she was shock by my statement.

"why??" She asked tearing up.

I move closer to her and pat her gently.

"I've been on the run since the very first time I gain sentience, I can protect myself talkless of protecting you" I explained.

"I prefer dying with you" she said with a sob.

"it won't change anything serah, when this is over I will surely come for you" I told her as went to the other angle of the room where my swords was placed.

I picked them up as I look at her one last time.

"bye serah" I said speeding out.

"Noooo!!!!" She screamed.
