The Blind Alpha's Rejected White Wolf

Author: Mu Hui Xin
Genre: Werewolf
For three years, I acted as the secret healer for my blind Alpha husband, absorbing his lethal silver toxicity into my own fragile body. But Ezequiel despised me, believing I was a wolfless parasite who forced a marriage contract to pay off my family's debts. Instead, he pampered his adopted sister, Clarissa, treating her like delicate glass. When I nearly bled to death from his violent, forced rut, I begged him for help through our mate link. He coldly severed the connection, choosing to accompany Clarissa for a fake pregnancy checkup while I was rushed into emergency surgery. He even attacked me in public to defend her honor, completely unaware that Clarissa was the mastermind who had orchestrated the assassination that blinded him. His mother knew the truth of my sacrifice, yet she locked me away, intending to use me until my healing blood ran dry. My heart completely died in that cold estate. On the final day of my three-year contract, just as Ezequiel's sight was about to be restored, he threw an unlimited black card at me to buy my silence. I snapped the card in half and threw the pieces at his feet. "Keep your charity. I am not for sale." Leaving behind my signed rejection papers and my wedding ring, I swallowed a vial of death-faking poison and vanished into the snowy forest. When he finally opens his eyes, he won't see his devoted Luna. He will only find my ghost.

Chapter 1

Gianna POV:

For three years after taking my runaway cousin's place to marry the poisoned and blind Alpha, Ezequiel Henry, I had been secretly absorbing the deadly silver poison from his body. But he had never touched me, until tonight-when the news of his adopted sister's pregnancy drove him into a sudden madness, pinning me fiercely beneath him.

"Take it off yourself."

Ezequiel's sightless eyes locked dead in my direction. His heavy body pressing against me was scorching, yet his voice was as cold as the biting night wind outside the window.

I jolted, staring up into his dark, blindfolded face. My heart began to pound wildly against my ribs, and a flush of heat crept up my neck.

"What... what's wrong with you?" I managed to ask, my voice trembling with a mix of fear and an undeniable sliver of anticipation.

We had been married for almost three years, and Ezequiel, the billionaire Alpha of the Henry Pack and CEO of Silvercrest Enterprises, had never laid a finger on me. Now, with only one month left until our agreed divorce, why was he doing this?

Before I could move, he reached for his collar, tearing his custom shirt open with a sharp tug. His broad, muscular chest heaved, slick with sweat. His jaw was clenched tight, radiating a terrifying, suffocating Alpha aura heavily laced with the dominant scent of dark cedar.

Three years ago, a silver bullet assassination had stolen his sight. At that time, my family was facing bankruptcy and begged him to honor an old marriage pact. To everyone else, I was just a greedy, wolfless parasite who married a crippled Alpha for his wealth.

But every single night, I secretly used my hidden Healer bloodline, absorbing his deadly silver poison into my own body to save his life. This process forced my wolf core into a deep dormancy, entirely severing my mental link to the pack.

I had no idea that the extreme jealousy of learning his beloved was pregnant had prematurely triggered his Heat. His inner Dire Wolf, driven mindless by frustrated possessiveness, was thrashing wildly beneath his ribs. He didn't care who was beneath him; he just needed a body to bite, to vent, to prove his Alpha dominance.

I looked up at his handsome, sculptured features. I foolishly thought that after three years of silent devotion, he finally wanted me.

"Ezequiel..." I hesitantly reached out, my trembling fingers grazing his burning chest. "For the sake of how much I truly love you... please be gentle."

His dark pupils seemed to shrink beneath the blindfold as if he had just heard a hilarious joke. He looked down at me, a cruel smirk twisting his lips.

"Stop pretending."

"Or do you think I haven't paid you enough?" he sneered.

The next second, he reached into the pocket of his discarded coat. He pulled out a heavy, solid gold signet-the master key to the Henry family's endless treasury-and threw it hard against my collarbone.

Smack.

I froze, a wave of suffocating sourness washing over my heart.

"You've stayed in my territory for three years just to suck my pack dry, haven't you?" His voice was dripping with venom. "Take the gold, and take off your clothes."

The cold metal striking my skin felt like a blunt knife hacking open my chest, shredding whatever was left of my pride.

I had forced my wolf core into dormancy to purge his toxins, enduring a weakened and bloated body. Yet, in his eyes, I was nothing but a manipulative gold-digger. By throwing this signet at me, he reduced my three years of devotion and dignity to a cheap, transactional night of venting.

Tears of absolute humiliation pricked my eyes as a surge of indignation overwhelmed my fear. "Let me go! Don't touch me!" I sobbed, struggling frantically as I pressed my hands hard against his broad, heavy chest to push him away.

But the moment my palms met his scorching muscles, I froze again. His heartbeat was terrifyingly fast, his body temperature unnaturally high. If he exerted himself too violently in this manic state of The Heat, the blood congestion would permanently ruin his optic nerves! He was scheduled to regain his sight this very month.

He instantly pinned my wrists above my head, his calloused hands clamping like iron tongs around my waist.

Suddenly, his body stiffened.

I sucked in a breath, desperately trying to hide my thick waistline, staring at him in sheer panic. I was 5'5", yet severely bloated. I didn't want him to feel how twisted and ugly my body had become from absorbing his deadly toxins!

"You've gotten fat?" his thin lips parted, mocking me with cold disgust.

My heart leaped into my throat, and I bit my pale lower lip hard, too humiliated to utter a single word. The air in the room turned suffocatingly silent.

I could see the disdain written all over his face. He must be mocking my bloated figure, finding me utterly repulsive, which made me want to sink into the floor out of shame. Yet, surprisingly, his disgust didn't make him pull away. The softness of my skin seemed to ignite some primal instinct within him. I watched his heavy Adam's apple bob. His breathing turned ragged, and a low, feral growl rumbled deep in his chest as his inner beast demanded to devour me entirely. Beneath the heavy cedar scent, my original scent-a faint trace of white lilies-was struggling to break through the toxin barrier in my blood.

There was no gentleness, no foreplay. Driven by the primal rage and the suffocating Heat, he forced his way in.

A sharp, tearing agony ripped through my lower body. I gasped, tears finally spilling over. My damaged, wolfless body was far too fragile to withstand the brutal, unbridled strength of an Alpha. I felt myself bleeding, my internal organs cramping painfully under the crushing pressure.

But the scent of my blood only seemed to drive his inner beast wilder. He moved with punishing force, his hot breath brushing against my neck. His fangs elongated, scraping against the delicate skin over my pulse point.

He was going to claim me. He was going to bite down and complete the Marking.

Just as my jaws opened, ready to sink into her flesh and bind our souls forever-

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Alpha!" Beta Vance's urgent voice came through the thick oak door. "It's Miss Clarissa! She just arrived at the estate. She's crying, saying she missed you and wants to see you right now!"

Chapter 2

The fiery lust and feral madness vanished from my body in a fraction of a second.

Without a single ounce of hesitation, I forcefully shoved the beast down, stopped the Marking, and pulled away from her, leaving her battered body shivering in the cold air.

"Get out," I ordered, my tone freezing, refusing to even glance at her curled-up form. "Sleep in the guest room."

"Fine," Gianna whispered, her voice trembling.

I listened in the darkness as she quickly threw on her clothes, grabbed her torn underwear, and walked out of the master suite in dead silence.

The room fell into a suffocating quiet.

I stood frozen by the bed. My heightened senses finally pierced through the heavy scent of cedar and lilies, catching a lingering scent on the mattress.

It was a pure, untainted metallic tang. The undeniable scent of a virgin's blood.

A sudden wave of shock and agonizing guilt hit my chest. For three years, I had believed the rumors that Gianna was a manipulative schemer who would do anything for money, bedding countless rogues. But she was untouched.

"Ezequiel..." Clarissa's weak, tearful voice echoed through the pack's mind-link from downstairs.

I clenched my jaw. Clarissa was here. She was pregnant, fragile, and she said she missed me. I pushed the confusing guilt aside, turned, and walked out with long strides.

Gianna POV:

Every step sent a tearing agony through my lower body. I was limping down the second-floor hallway toward the guest room when I suddenly heard voices from the grand foyer below.

I looked over the marble railing.

Clarissa had just rushed through the front doors. She threw herself directly into Ezequiel's embrace, burying her face deeply in his chest.

"Ezequiel! I missed you so much!" she whined softly, nuzzling into his chest like a spoiled child.

And Ezequiel, the cold and ruthless Alpha who had just brutally ravaged me, wrapped his strong arms around her waist. His voice was brimming with extreme tenderness. "Why did you come running in the middle of the night?"

"I just missed you," Clarissa said. Then, as if she had just noticed me, she shyly wiped her tears. "Oh, Sister-in-law is here too."

I gave a polite, hollow smile. I am the Alpha's wife; isn't it perfectly normal for me to be here? Of course, I couldn't say that out loud. Ezequiel spoiled this adopted sister more than anyone else, and I didn't want to provoke him.

Instead, I heard Clarissa say, "I just found out I'm pregnant. I was feeling so depressed at my husband's house, so I wanted to come back and stay for a few days..."

I couldn't hear the rest of her words. My eyes were locked onto the hand Clarissa was using to cling to Ezequiel. Specifically, the ring on her finger.

My entire body froze instantly, my pupils reflecting sheer disbelief. A matching set? Half a month ago, I had accidentally seen a ring hidden deep inside his private safe. The Henry Pack's ancestral Luna rings were designed as a 'Sun' and a 'Moon'; I couldn't be mistaken. I always knew Ezequiel was cold and abstinent because he had an untouchable woman in his heart... But I never, ever dared to connect it to Clarissa!

It felt as if I had been struck by a heavy hammer! Suddenly, all of Ezequiel's abnormal behaviors tonight made terrifying sense. I finally understood why he had suddenly forced himself on me like a madman. He lost control so completely, disregarding my life entirely. He was stimulated by the news of Clarissa's pregnancy!

My heart was abruptly seized by an iron hand woven from 'absurdity' and 'irony', suffocating my chest.

Chapter 3

Gianna POV:

When I snapped back to reality from the devastating realization, Ezequiel was 'looking' up at the second floor with a cold, dark expression.

"Gianna. Go to the kitchen and brew a bowl of moon-flower tonic for Clarissa. She needs to drink it to calm the baby."

It was so late, and brewing that specific herbal soup would take at least two hours of constant stirring. I painstakingly dragged my gaze away from that Luna ring, pulled into an abyss of physical and mental exhaustion.

"I'm very tired," I refused wearily, my voice hoarse from holding back tears.

Ezequiel's thin lips pressed together, his thoughts unreadable. Seeing his brief silence, Clarissa looked inexplicably unhappy. She smiled at me and said, "Sister-in-law, I'll be staying here for a while. If you cook for me, I'll pay you. Is that okay?"

I truly didn't know how she had the nerve to say that. In the three years I had been married, had I served her food and drinks any less? When had I ever asked for money?

To my horror, Ezequiel actually chimed in, "There's a black card in the nightstand drawer. Take it and use it."

He probably thought that since I loved subsidizing the bankrupt Waters family so much, giving me money was the perfect solution. As long as Clarissa was happy during her pregnancy, spending some pack funds was nothing, and it wouldn't be mistreating me either.

I looked at Ezequiel quietly, a wave of agonizing soreness surging in my chest. When did I ever ask for money? My gaze fell once again on the ring on Clarissa's finger.

Clarissa was the adopted daughter of the Henry family, but it was Ezequiel who had brought her back from the outside and forcefully demanded his parents adopt her. Because of this, the entire pack knew how much Ezequiel favored her. As his wife, I had always felt this deeply, and as a sister-in-law, I had treated Clarissa like a younger sister.

But looking at it now, it was a hilarious irony-the original Luna taking care of the Alpha's true mate!

Brewing soup was a small matter; normally, I wouldn't refuse. But right now, my lower body was actively bleeding, and my wolf core was trembling in agony. I didn't want to do it, and I physically couldn't.

"Since you can solve it with money, just hire a professional chef," I said in a light, emotionless tone.

Hearing this, Ezequiel's brow furrowed heavily. "What kind of attitude is that?"

This was the first time Ezequiel had heard me say no. In the past, as a wife, I had always been perfectly accommodating to everyone.

Bang.

I truly had no energy left to argue and directly shut the guest room door, locking their voices out of my world entirely.
