Aurora's Point Of View
*Bang!* Came the sound from the door as Cassy barged in, startling me and Xenia who was reading a book while lying on my bed. Seeing my best friend's rage-filled face, I could almost immediately guess the cause of her anger.
"Boys are stupid! Boys are stupid! Boys are fucking stupid!"
I held my snicker. Of course, nothing can make Cassy this angry except for men. Cassy threw her bag on her bed, huffing as she snatched away the bottle of water in Xenia's hands.
"Hey!" Xenia snapped, throwing a pillow at Cassy who was gulping down the bottle of water.
"Are you okay?" I asked, not tearing my gaze away from the book in my hands.
"Wow. I'm having a mental breakdown here and the two people I call my best friends pay more attention to a book! A book!" She remarked, dramatically slumping on her bed. Xenia and I exchanged looks before bursting into laughter. This only made Cassy more frustrated. She buried her head in her pillow, cursing at intervals.
We put our books down and strolled to her bed. We sat at each of her sides. "Cassy, what happened?" Xenia asked, patting her back. She lifted her head from the pillow and turned to me.
"Emmanuel is a bitch!" She fired and I nodded, saying, "Everybody knows that. It's no news."
"Right. That was why we advised you against dating him." Xenia added tiredly.
"What did he do?" I inquired, pulling her to sit.
"Picture this as I tell you." She began. "I went to the bastard's house this afternoon after I was done at the salon and when I got there, I found him sniffing cocaine."
The room went dead silent. Xenia's and my eyes were filled with shock. "C.. cocaine?!" I exclaimed in disbelief.
"Jeez, I knew that guy was a dick but I never expected him to be into drugs. What the...he looks normal on the outside." Xenia says, arching her brow in confusion.
"I'm not done." Cassy continued. "I just don't know what will prompt him into that. I confronted him and he just shut me out, telling me it was none of my business and I was tryna tell him that for Pete'ss sake I'm his girlfriend! have every freaking right to know. The motherfucker just turned it into a big deal, started saying shits like I'm nosy, I'm too controlling..like...how does that even make sense?" She groaned in frustration before continuing. "Since when have I been nosy?"
You actually are. I said inwardly but I dare not say it out loud or she will pull my hair out.
"I was just being a concerned girlfriend. Which girl will find her boyfriend sniffing coke and won't question him? Or do something about it? We got into this big heated argument and out of nowhere, the dickhead sent two slaps right across my face! That asshole slapped me twice in a row!!"
"That dirty thing hit you?!" Xenia exclaimed in disbelief and Cassy nodded. The number of angry people increased by two. I can't believe that guy hit her. Has he been hiding his red flag until now? It was three months ago when Cassy came into the dorm, squealing. Saying Emmanuel asked her out. Of course, as her best friend, Xenia and I tried to talk her out of accepting his proposal. The guy cheated on his ex-girlfriend. That should be enough reason for her to say no but you know Cassy. Always going for the bad ones.
"That guy is an animal! So...did your leave him be without doing anything?" I ask and Cassy grinned mischievously.
"Leave him be? Leave the man who slaps me be? Of course not! I repaid him in the worst way possible."
Oh shit! What did she do? Destroy his car? Or...kill him? Should I be preparing to attend a murder trial? Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. Cassy can be super crazy when angry.
"Did you kill him?" Xenia asked and I almost laughed. Cassy shook her head. "That would be too easy. I made him impotent."
Wow.
"You...you did what?" Xenia asked and Cassy's grin widened as if she was reminiscing about what she did to the guy.
"Well, thankfully there was a baseball bat nearby so I just got hold of it and wacked his balls with it. I wacked his balls about six times before stopping. That should make him impotent, right?" She says, a sweet innocent smile on her face.
Jeez, this girl scares me sometimes. But it could have been worse so... lucky Emmanuel, I guess.
"I'd be surprised if he isn't."
"Well, it's official ladies! Your girl is officially single again!" She announced loudly, throwing her arms around in celebration but I could see the sadness in her eyes. Xenia turned to me sadly and I sighed. We both wrapped our arms around her and that was all it took for her to break down.
"There there, sugar. That prick doesn't deserve you anyway." I say, patting her head.
"Aurora's right. You deserve better. You were just... unlucky." Xenia says and Cassy chuckled.
"Wow, thanks for your comforting words, Xenia." She remarked sarcastically and we all laughed.
"How about this? Club, tonight?" I felt discomfort in the pit of my stomach as Xenia mentioned the word, "club" Ugh! I don't understand why people go to that place. I'd rather stay home and read books under my cozy blanket than shove myself into the middle of sweaty people reeking of alcohol.
"Xenia, let's not-"
"Yes! I could blow off some steam!" Cassy said before I could protest.
"You two should go alone. I'll stay."
I gulped when they gave me disapproving looks. "you're following us and that's it. You're always inside, not engaging in the outside world! Don't you get bored?" Cassy asks and I raised my brow.
"Why would I be bored? It's comfortable being alone." I shrugged and they slapped their foreheads in disappointment.
"You're coming with. And that's it. It'll be fun, I promise. There'll be music, drinks, not to mention hot and sexy guys. Who knows? You might get laid."
I felt nauseated as Xenia mentioned the "fun" things. I got the most scared when I heard the word, "guys". I'm not good at talking with guys. I end up being so awkward with them. Number one reason I've never had a boyfriend. Who wants to be with a girl that prefers being at home reading and watching movie series?
"I think I'd pass on the 'sexy guys' part." I say scrunching up my nose in discomfort.
"Come on! Aren't you tired of being a virgin?"
I widened my eyes at how loud Cassy was. Doesn't she get embarrassed talking about things like this?
"Th.. there's nothing wrong in being a virgin." I say shyly in a low voice and they snickered, making me more embarrassed.
"You could really use some dicks in your life, baby. Just make an effort tonight, hm? What do you say? Ready to get laid?" Cassy asks, her face filled with excitement. I turned to Xenia who had the same look. I sighed in defeat and nodded. If I say no, I'd still end up going.
"It is settled! Let's go dress up!"
***
"Watch where you're going, asshole!" Cassy cursed at the driver of the car driving past us. I quickly bowed apologetically at the driver to avoid any commotion. I turned to Cassy, "Jeez, Cassy, that man is older than us."
"Who cares?" She parks our car and we stepped out. I kept pulling down my gown as we walked to the entrance of the club. Apparently, my closet is filled with only sweatpants and hoodies so Cassy lent me one of her club wears. How is she comfortable in these? After searching her closet for the most 'decent' club outfit. We settled for a black armless leather mini gown with a low back slit. I never knew black was my color until now. It suits my tan skin perfectly. I wore black knee-length high-heeled boots to finish the look. I looked like a whole different person after she finished my make-up and hair.
Now I know what 'catfish' means.
"You know the code, guys. Party, drink, get drunk, if possible, get laid." Cassy says, winking at me as we entered the club. I rubbed my palms against my dress nervously and we went further. Xenia and Cassy were beginning to shake their bodies to the music and then there's me, feeling so out of place. We took over a table and Cassy ordered drinks. I dreaded the thought of them leaving me alone to go dance with some guy.
Cassy and Xenia had alcoholic drinks while I stuck to non-alcoholic beer. We chatted for a while until the moment I dreaded came. Three guys came to our table and asked us to dance. Cassy and Xenia were eager to dance with them but I was hesitant. The guy asking me to dance looked... scary.
Everyone is scary to you, my subconsciousness said. I respectfully declined the man and he left but not without saying, "You're not even that pretty, bitch."
Tsk. Men.
"Will you be okay?" Cassy asks as she stood up. I nodded, assuring her I would be fine. I can stay with Mike, the bartender. He's a friend of Cassy's. I picked up my drink and strolled to the bar.
"Hey, Aurora." He greeted me with his signature smile which I returned.
"Surprised seeing you here. Let me guess, Cassy dragged you along?"
I nodded, chuckling. "She did."
"Let me make you a drink." He offered and I was about to decline when he says, "don't worry, you'll love it." He winked and I nodded. I watched as he mixed different drinks. I was fascinated. He is already handsome but he looks more handsome bartending.
"Here." He pushes the pink drink in front of me. "I call it, Aurora's smile." He says, winking and I blushed. I gulped before taking a sip of the drink.
"Wow, it's nice. Tastes just like strawberries."
He nodded, smiling proudly. "I'd give you more if you want. Feel free."
I nodded, gulping down the remainder. I ordered one more glass. One more glass turned to two more and before I knew it, I drank up to ten glasses. I began to get tipsy and pressed so I staggered to the bathroom. I almost emptied all the contents of my stomach as I puked. I washed my mouth and on my way out of the bathroom, I collided with a person. I almost fell but I felt a hand around my waist, holding me from falling.
I opened my eyes to see who it was. I was breathless when my eyes met his green ones. They were beautiful like the early morning grass.
"Beautiful." I say, trailing his cheek with my finger.
"Are you okay?" His thick cold voice sent shivers across my body. I felt something in me kick in excitement. He tried to let me go but I held onto him.
"Who knows, you might get laid?" Cassy's words echoed in my head.
"I...I want to get laid." I say innocently, tightening my grip around his neck. He arched his brow, his eyes holding amusement.
"Are you drunk?"
I shook my head. "Just a little tipsy."
"Who did you come with? Let me take you...
I didn't let him finish his statement. I pulled his neck closer and kissed him passionately. Faster than I could blink, he pinned me against the wall, claiming my lips dominantly. He pressed his body against mine, I could feel his bulge against me. He broke the kiss and said against my lips, "I'll give you one more chance, sweetheart." He whispered against my lips, his hand trailing up my thigh, "leave if you're having second thoughts." I whispers huskily in my ear, making me hornier than I already was.
I shook my head and pulled him closer by his shirt. "Just take me out of here."
He leaned back and grinned, "As you wish."
Chapter Two
Aurora's Point Of View
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I don't know what's more annoying. My throbbing headache or the alarm. I struggled to sit up, looking for the ringing phone across the bed, half awake. I finally got hold of it and muted the annoying sound. I yawned loudly, rubbing my eyes. Ignoring the pain in my head, I looked around the room. Where am I?
I looked down at my body, realizing I was clad in an oversized shirt. What am I doing here? I racked my brain to remember what happened the night before. I went to a club with Cassy and Xenia. Then I went to drink and...oh no! I...I slept with a stranger?!
"Oh my God!" I exclaimed, looking down at my crotch area in shock. I gulped, directing my finger to feel my vagina. As I touched it, the sensation of last night came again. I remembered the way I held onto him, moaning, him asking if he could proceed and me begging him not to stop. I remember crying in immense pleasure, shaking under him as he rammed me into euphoria.
I felt the back of my neck heat up. I know my face is super red right now. I hid under the blanket in embarrassment. I can't believe this. I'm...I'm no longer a virgin. I opened my mouth in shock, unable to believe it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not regretting it. I'm just...in disbelief. Ugh! What alcohol does to people. I begged him to lay with me. With no shame. The more I thought of it, the more embarrassed I felt. The man's eyes flashed in my head and I felt my vagina kick. Just his eyes are affecting me this much. I have to say, he's...he's so good in bed.
Arrrgghh!!! Can't believe I'm saying this. I've never felt this good in my life. Can I say he's the best? I've never had sex with any other man but there possibly can't be anyone better than him, can there? I sat up and got out of bed. This must be his shirt I'm putting on. Even his scent is turning me on. But I still feel a little sore down there. He was so rough but...I liked it like that. Ugh! Stop, Aurora! You don't even know where you are and here you are, daydreaming about the sex you had last night. I walked to the door, ignoring the soreness between my legs. I was about to open the door when it swung inwardly, almost hitting my head.
"Oh, dear! Are you okay?" The woman asked. I nodded and she took my hand. She scrutinized me from my head to my toes, I began to get uncomfortable with her stares.
"Oh, sorry. I was just checking something. Come downstairs for breakfast."
"No!" I quickly declined. "I mean..don't worry, ma'am. I need to go home like...right now."
Cassy and Xenia would be so worried. That's if they're not still sleeping completely wasted in the middle of the road or at the front of the dorm door.
"But...young master said you mustn't leave without eating."
"I really need to leave. My friends would be worried." I pleaded and she sighed.
"Fine. Go into the bathroom and clean up. I'll send someone to prepare clean clothes on the bed for you." She says, smiling sweetly. I returned her smile and nodded. I let out the breath I didn't know I'd been holding when she left. Talking to people drains me. I opened one of the doors to the room but it was a walk-in closet. I closed the door and opened another door. Thankfully, it was the bathroom.
I didn't have time to admire the bathroom. I quickly took my bath and like she promised, clean clothes were on the bed for me. It was a yellow and white floral dress. I wore it and the white flats I was provided. I picked up my phone and checked for missed calls. 30 missed calls from Xenia and 45 missed calls from Cassy. When I exited, I met the woman by the door. She directed me downstairs, outside the house. She gave me a bag that contains my outfit from yesterday and she packed food into a lunch bag for me.
"You should eat in the car, hm? You need to replenish your energy."
Replenish my energy? Does she know...? I looked at her with widened eyes and she winked. My cheeks grew red and I quickly entered the car. She waved at me as the driver drove away. Were we that loud? I shook away the thought and brought out my phone. But...where is he? He just left without seeing me wake up? For some reason, that hurt me. But that's what a one-night stand is, right? Have sex and go your separate ways. We probably won't meet again. I brought out my phone and dialed Xenia's number.
"Aurora?"
"Yeah, it's me."
"Finally! Gosh, do you know how worried we were? Cassy almost killed Mike. Asking why did he keep his eyes off you. We thought some predator got hold of you or something. What happened?"
"Is that Aurora?" I heard Cassy's faint voice ask. "Yes." Xenia replied.
"Aurora, are you okay? Where have you been?" Her voice became louder. She's probably close to the phone now.
"I'm sorry, guys. Something... happened."
"Wait, where are you? Let's come and pick you up. Xenia, get the car keys."
"Calm down, Cassy. I'm fine. I'm almost home. I'll explain everything when I get home."
"Hurry. We're dying of worry here."
"I'll be home soon." I brought down my phone, wishing the driver would go faster than this. Why is he going this gentle?
***
"Thank you, sir." I waved at the man and he drive off. I entered the building and went straight to my dorm.
"Aurora!" Cassy exclaimed when she saw me enter. She rushed to me and almost broke my bones in the name of a hug.
"Where were you? Mike said you went to the bathroom and then you suddenly disappeared." Xenia said as she emerged from the bathroom. I sighed and slumped on my bed.
"I'm no more a virgin guys." I dropped the bombshell and the room went pin-drop silent. Xenia and Cassy stared at each other in shock and disbelief.
"What do you mean?" Cassy asks, coming to sit beside me.
"Well...I may or may not have slept with a stranger last night." I say, fiddling with my fingers shyly. The toothbrush in Xenia's mouth fell to the ground in shock.
"It's a lie." Cassy said, standing.
"I'm telling the truth. On my way out of the bathroom, I bumped into a man and...I don't know. I can't describe it. For the first time in my life, I was sexually attracted to a man. So...I decided it was now or never and...he took me to his place." I say in one breath, closing my eyes as I braced up for the ear-piercing scream.
And then...it came.
"Arghhhh!!!!" They squealed in excitement, shaking me vigorously.
"You got laid? You finally got laid! Oh my gosh! I cannot believe this. I can't!" Cassy says, ruffling her hair as she walked to and fro.
"So how was it? Was it painful? Gentle? Rough? In-between? How would you rate the man out of ten? What does he look like?"
And the question went on and on. Of course, I had to answer their questions or I wouldn't hear the last of it today. Apparently, losing my virginity was something to celebrate so we ordered a cake and had a nice time at home. My life after that day continued as usual. I went to class, just...lived my normal life.
Everything was going fine until three weeks later when I began to feel sick. I'd feel nauseous out of nowhere and I began to feel weak almost every morning. I began to find foods I like disgusting. In the back of my mind, I began to fear. What if I'm pregnant? No, that's impossible. The man used a condom. Or...did he not? I don't know!
It's just normal sickness, Xenia and Cassy assured but I knew they suspected what I suspected. To be sure, I asked Xenia to buy me a pregnancy test.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Cassy asked worriedly and I nodded.
"If I don't do this now, how would I rest assured?" I ask as I peeled off the wrapping of the test. I sat on the WC and peed in a small cup. I dipped the test in my urine and placed it to lie on the washing sink. With crossed fingers and a racing heart, I waited for the result to come out. I could feel Xenia's assuring squeeze behind me.
"It's going to be okay." I hear Cassy say. My breath got stuck in my throat when the first line showed up. One minute passed after that and the second line didn't show. I was letting out a sigh of relief when the second one finally appeared.
I felt my body go light, I would have fell if Xenia didn't hold me. I shook my head in denial. "Th...this is wrong, right?"
"Aurora...
I felt something trail down my cheeks. I sniffled but more tears kept falling. I cleaned my tears with my sleeves and rushed out of the bathroom.
"Aurora, where are you going?!" They yelled after me but my head was clouded. I rushed out of the house without a sense of direction.
No, this can't be happening.
Four Years Later
"Jeez, Cassy, the balloons should be up there not on your head, what are you doing?"
I burst out laughing as Cassy cat walked to and fro with balloons tied in her hair. I went to her and attempted to take them off but she didn't let me. "I'll take them off myself. Let me have fun with them a little longer." She says, making a peace sign as she took a selfie. I shook my head and turned to Xenia, who was busy decorating the cake.
"Wow, chef. You're doing a good job." I teased, patting her back. I retied my hair and proceeded to arrange the toys on the couch. I went to join Mike to help him hang the letter balloons.
"Mike, it says tree not three. You missed letter h." I say, facepalming myself. He smiled apologetically and I waved my hand. "it's fine, let me help you."
You must have guessed but today is the third birthday of my babies. Yes, you read that right. Babies!! Shocked? Yeah, I was too when I found out I was having twins. It was four years ago when I went to get an ultrasound with my mum. I was six months pregnant by then. I thought I was having just one baby but turns out it was two. A boy and a girl.
Sometimes, I look back on everything that has happened before this moment. I remember the day I found out I was pregnant. Boy, did I cry. I didn't leave the dorm for about a week. I was just so confused and disoriented. I was unsure of what to do. I mean...I was just nineteen! I was just in the second year of college, I still had a long way to go. Cassy and Xenia advised me to get an abortion if I didn't want the baby. Of course, I said yes. Getting pregnant at nineteen wasn't part of my plans at all.
So the second week, I went straight to the hospital. My mind was made up. But when I got onto the hospital bed and the doctor asked me this question, "Are you ready?". I just couldn't say no. I was... hesitant. It sounds crazy but I couldn't do it. I decided against abortion at the last minute and went back home. PS : all this while, my mum hasn't found out about my pregnancy. I was scared to tell her. Scared to disappoint her. She's the only parent I have so the thought of taking that news to her scared me.
She didn't find out until I was three months pregnant. And boy was I so scared the day she found out. It was unexpected. Cassy, Xenia, and I were in the dorm, having a nice time when we heard a knock on our door. We were expecting Mike to come over that day so we thought it was him. We said to the person to come in and boom! Mum saw my pregnant self, lying on the bed while eating Oreos. Damn! I felt like disappearing from the face of the earth.
"What is this? How did you get pregnant? Who is the father of the baby? Where is he?"
That last two questions, I couldn't answer. Who would have thought I would get pregnant by a stranger on a one-night stand? Honestly, I expected the worst reaction from her. I expected all hell to break loose but all she scolded me for was the fact that I kept it from her until she found out herself. "I could have been there for you. Why didn't you tell me? So you went through all this time on your own?"
Yeah, we cried. Cassy and Xenia cried. It was a whole crying party that day. I had to stop schooling and go back home with mum. I'm so thankful that throughout those times, I wasn't alone. I had my mum, my best friends, and surprisingly, Mike, by my side. Remember Mike? The bartender? Yeah. We became really close during those times and we're still close now. He's like an uncle to my babies. Parenting my little angels wasn't easy. Believe me, I've never been as stressed out. Kallista came out first before her brother, Riaz. My mum gave my daughter the name Kallista because she is the most beautiful baby ever, hence her name. I gave my baby boy the name Riaz because of his eye color.
Riaz has the most beautiful green eyes. The replica of his... father. I may not have seen the man's face that night, but his green eyes were noticeable. Many people don't realize they are twins because they are non-identical. Kallista resembles me. Like..a lot! She took my hazel eyes but hers have a little blue in them. Her hair is curly and black, unlike mine which is brown. Riaz on the other hand took nothing from me. Maybe he took my introverted character but he took nothing on the facial side. He most likely resembles that man. At least I'll be able to recognize him when I meet him someday. Though that is kind of impossible.
"Hurry up guys, mum is almost here." I announced. I've never thrown a surprise birthday party for my kids. I'm very excited to see the surprised look they'll have. Kallista would most likely scream the whole building down.
I gave the cake some final touches and handed confetti bombs to everyone. I got a text from mum that she's in front of the door. I could hear Kallista's little giggles as mum opened the door.
"Surprise!!!" We all chorused, releasing the confetti bombs. Surprised was an understatement to qualify the emotions in their eyes right now. They squealed in excitement, jumping in mum's hands in an attempt to get down. Mum put them down and they ran to me.
"Happy birthday, my pumpkins." I say, kissing their cheeks after I picked them up.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...
We sang as Cassy and Xenia brought their cakes. They both clapped happily, giggling as the cakes were brought before them.
"Fiya." Riaz said, pointing to the lit-up candles. I grinned and kissed his cheek.
"Come on, make a wish." Cassy said as she took Kallista from me. They both clasped their hands together and mumbled inaudible baby words before blowing the candles. We all cheered and settled at the table. Before we started eating, we decided to take a picture. Of course, Riaz kept running around not wanting to take pictures. He just hates posing for the camera. Typical me.
"Come on, Riaz, just one picture." I say.
"No!" He says, running to the back of the chair.
"Riaz, piture~~" Kal whined, going to him. I watched in adoration as she whispered something in Riaz's ear.
"What are they talking about?" Mike asked, chuckling.
Riaz smiled and nodded before taking Kallista's hand and coming out. "Ready to take pictures now?" I ask him and he nodded, spreading his hands for me to carry him. His sister just knows how to convince him. I wonder what they whispered about though.
We ended up taking a lot of pictures. Most of it ended up messy because Kallista wouldn't stop aiming for the cake. It was chaotic but I loved every single second of it.
"Okay, last picture." Mike says as he set up the camera. He quickly rushed to us before the timer started counting.
"In three, two...
At the last second, Kallista shoved a handful of cake into her mouth which caused everyone to burst out laughing.
"When I thought we'd finally take one picture that isn't messy." Mum says, throwing her hands in the air dramatically. Mike went to the camera to take out the picture.
"It actually came out nice." He says, staring at the picture with a bright smile. We went to him to check it.
"It really did." I say, smiling.
***
The party ended around 5 p.m. Mike left first because he had something to get to.
"Y'all should go rest at home. You have school, do you not?" I ask and Cassy groaned. "I can't wait to be done and just get the F out." She huffs, taking a long sip of her juice.
"Besides, we can just rest here. If we leave now who will help you clean up?" Xenia says and I smiled. Kallista and Riaz are with their grandma. I guess they are twisting her hair again.
Xenia and Cassy helped me clean up the living room and wash the dishes. We had dinner and ended up chatting till 12a.m which is a bad idea because I have to wake up early tomorrow.
Around 5.45, I woke up the next morning. Cassy was already up but Xenia was still snoring. Typical, Xenia. I knocked on my mum's door but I got no reply. I went in and found my twins sleeping peacefully on the bed. I smiled and sat gently on the bed. As I expected, Riaz opened his eyes. The slightest noise can wake him.
"Did I wake you?" I say, brushing his hair with my fingers. He shook his head and crawled on my lap. He held my arm while I patted his back with my free hand. He purred sleepily and says, "thank you, mama." before sleeping off. Little things like this just make me tear up. I planted a soft kiss on his forehead and placed him back to sleep on the bed.
"You're welcome, baby."
I kissed Kallista's forehead and she smiled but she didn't open his eyes. I opened the curtains before going back out. I met mum in the kitchen, making breakfast.
"Good morning, mum."
"Morning, sweetheart. Slept well?"
I yawned and nodded. She's made breakfast already. Let me go prepare my babies for school. They just started preschool and it's kinda hard for them to adjust. I remember the first day I dropped them off at school. It was a crying mess. For them and me. Yes, me. Riaz adjusted pretty quickly but Kallista still throws a fit once in a while. Cassy, Xenia, and mum helped me prepare them for school. At 8 am, I dropped them off at school and went to my working place. I work part-time at a restaurant. And I can't say I'm having the best experience there but what can I do?
As I was about to step in, a hand pulled me back.
"You can slap me later but please just go with the flow." The person said. What the...
I raised my head, only for my eyes to meet a pair of very familiar green ones.
My eyes widened in shock and my mouth went dry.
It's him. I could recognize those ethereal jade eyes anywhere.
"Y..y..." I couldn't form words, I could only stare at him, dumbstruck.
"I'm sorry." He says, before leaning in and claiming my lips. My bag fell out of my hand as my whole body tensed up. He pushed my body against his as he kissed me. I could not struggle, I could not push him off. I could only shut my eyes tightly, hoping this was a dream.
