The Billionaire's Savior.

Stella, a young woman of twenty five years of age, was woken up from her gentle sleep by a hard voice, accompanied by a heavy hit on her head. She was confused, thinking that it was a dream. But soon, when her eyes were cleared, she realized that the one who had been shouting and hitting her on her head was no other person, but her husband.

''What! She was vexed.

''How long have you been here, and why are you shouting in this manner?''She asked Gideon, her husband.

''How dare you talk to me like this?''Gideon asked, looking at her with fury.

Stella was about to say something, when she realized that a heavy slap had landed on her face. At once, tears began to flow down her cheeks.

''I thought you have changed?. Why are you treating me like this?''Stella asked,watching how tears were flowing down her cheeks like a stream of river.

''Nothing can ever make me change. As long as you are here tormenting my life, I will also do the same to you''Gideon replied, dragging her down from the bed, to enable him to talk and hit her the way he wanted.

Ever since they got married, Gideon has not really been a good husband to her, and a good father to their daughter, Janeth.

He has been using Stella's back as a punching ball, where he would easily release all his anger. On the other hand, Stella has been tolerating him. No matter what he does to her, she will still accommodate such an attitude, just because of the love and sweet memories they once had. She was also still with him because of their little daughter who is not even upto six years old.

''By the way, why were you in my office today?. You probably thought I was cheating on you or what?''Gideon asked her, yelling his voice at her.

''Ofcourse, I was at your office today, to check and see everything for myself''Stella agreed.

''What!''Exclaimed Gideon.

''If you have not been cheating on me, why haven't you been having time for me and your daughter,Janeth?. You think I am a fool or what?''Stella asked, also pulling out her yelling voice.

''You actually did it for real?. Oh!. It has come to this level, whereby you would be monitoring me all around the globe, as if I am a child?''Gideon asked. His face and mood showed how angry he was. He wished he could hurt her fatally, but he still doesn't know how to go about it. Over the few years that he and Stella has been married, regrets have been the order of his days. Nothing that Stella does, that would ever please him. Infact, he doesn't wish to see her around him. Although, he has a vital reason, on why he actually married her and currently, he has actualized his reason. Meanwhile, he doesn't know how to tell her to leave his life, paving the way for a true lover in his life.

''Ever since we got married, you haven't been fulfilling your roles and duties. I have been the one doing everything, just to see that our marriage worked. But you haven't made any input at all. Even to take care of your daughter, you can't''Stella voiced out.

All this while, she has been keeping silent, trying to see whether he would have a change of heart and a refined attitude towards her and their daughter, but all to no avail. She was just forced to do what she did, by going to his office, to spy on his affairs.

''How dare you?. Ever since we got married, you have never contributed anything into my life. You have been a lazy woman, who has been depending on me for virtually everything. What did you want me to do?. You want me to be happy with you, when you don't have anything to put on the table?. Can't you look at other young ladies who are married?.Can't you see how supportive they are to their husbands?.Not you. You keep staying at home idol, wearing luxurious clothes and always wishing to live an extravagant life''Gideon yelled.

''I was surprised to see you at my office, trying to know and monitor all that I do. Don't you know that without me working in that company, and acquiring the position I have today, I won't have money to finance the growth and happiness of this family?''Gideon said,speaking rubbish out of his mouth.

''You are a big fool. You are a disgrace to marriage, and also a disgrace to fatherhood. How can you be so wicked and stupid, by doing what you did today in your office?. A whole married man like you was caught kissing and romancing another lady right in your office. Which means this was what you have been doing all this while right?.So, if I hadn't been in your office today, this is how you would have been telling me lies, by framing all manners of stories of how tired and heavy laden you were at work?. Now that I have caught you, what do you have to say about it?''Stella highlighted, forcefully holding Gideons shirt and drawing it. She was really angry with the kind of position she saw him in today. She wished she did something bad and terrible to the lady she saw him with. But she couldn't because Gideon ordered the company's security to kick her out of the company's vicinity.

''Kpash!''

She heard another round of slapping on her cheek.

''That is what I have for you my dear. A slap. Next time, you won't come to my office unannounced again. The next time you try it, you will be mercilessly dealt with''Gideon said.

Stella placed her hand on her cheek, holding the particular place where she was slapped on. Tears kept flowing down her cheek. She looked up, and was filled with regrets. She couldn't say any further words again.

Gideon on the other hand, looked at his phone, and saw that it was ringing. Someone so precious to him, was on the line.

''Before I return, kindly leave this mansion for me''Gideon said, leaving out to attend to the one who is very precious to him.

Stella was all alone in the mansion with her little daughter,Janeth. She was filled with thoughts. She couldn't believe that Gideon slapped her today. Although even before now, she has been having this kind of issue with him. But today was the first time that Gideon would use violence on her. She thought that her marriage would be rosy, not knowing that it would grow to be something terrible and unpleasant. Definitely, she regretted ever meeting Gideon, her husband. She doesn't know what to do, and how to go about it.

At this point in time, she was only thinking more about her daughter, and how her future would be. Gideon was not ready to invest in their daughter.

''Mummy,stop crying''She heard a voice from behind telling her.

Ofcourse, she recognized it. But she wasn't really expecting it to voice out at this point of the night. She turned back, and saw that it was their daughter, Janeth.

''Come here''Stella said to her.

''You are supposed to be sleeping by now. I remembered bidding you a goodnight sleep. Why are you still awake by now?''She asked Janeth.

''I saw when and how daddy slapped you. What did you do to him?''Janeth asked her.

The little girl was heart broken. Who knows, she must have been seeing all that has been happening between her both parents and thus, it got the power to influence her psychology negatively.

''You won't understand dear. Just go to bed okay, and pretend as if you didn't ever see or hear anything tonight,''Stella said to her. She tried to speak to her in the best possible manner, but the little girl wasn't giving any sign of leaving for bed. Stella on the other hand, was still trying to hide her tears from her. She was secretly wiping off the tears from her eyes, when she saw Janeth doing the same to her.

''I have told you to stop shedding tears. If daddy doesn't want you again, it's fine. You can easily leave him, and make yourself happy and comfortable. What do you think?''Janeth said.

Her words shocked her mother, who was finding it hard to believe that her own daughter would be able to say something like this. Janeth is just five years of age, and approaching six. Stella held her head, and was caressing it. She kissed Janeth's head, and also cleaned the splash of tears that was about to drop on the floor.

''Don't say such a thing. Do you want me to leave your father?''Stella asked. At this point, she has nothing good or better to say. She just wanted to keep Janeth company, and to water and check Janeth's level of understanding.

''I have been seeing everything that has been going on between you and dad. I am not happy with him, and I am not happy with what he has been doing against you. It looks as if he doesn't want to be with you any more''Janeth said.

''How do you know that he doesn't want to be with me any more?. Is it because you saw him slapping me?''Stella asked. Her heart was broken into pieces, seeing that her daughter whom she wasn't supposed to be discussing something like this in the first place, was now the one she was conversing with in her painful moment.

''I do see dad coming to our house with a very beautiful lady''Janeth revealed.

''What?.What are you talking about?''Stella asked in shock.

''There was a day you weren't around, dad came back home with someone very beautiful and sexy. They even kissed here in the seating room, before they went to the bedroom''Janeth revealed.

''Why didn't you tell me all this while?''Stella asked her. Stella fixed her gaze on her, trying to check whether she was serious with her words or not. Although looking at Janeth, she wasn't the kind of child that says what she has no knowledge of. She has a nature of keeping silent whenever something wrong or bad was going on, and would voice out at the right time, when she had the opportunity to do so.

''Because I didn't want you to feel bad. But now that things are going worse, I think you should just protect yourself''Janeth said, suggesting to her mother what to do.

Stella was marveled at her daughter's intelligence. She kissed her forehead, shaked her ear as a sign of telling her not to talk about it again. The both of them became silent, having compassion for themselves. Janeth's worry was on her mother.She doesn't want her to suffer anymore from the hands of her father, while on the other hand, Stella was busy thinking about the future of Janeth, not wanting this unhealthy happenings to affect her future, and her mentality.

While the both of them were staying alone and having sober reflection, they heard Gideon's car horn, blowing outside. Definitely, the gate man would surely attend to him. Stella and Janeth immediately turned, looking at each other. They both were feeling the coming blister of war. They were surprised to hear the car's door opening and closing from two different sides. This was a sign that Gideon was with somebody.

Suddenly, the door leading to the mansion opened. Gideon walked in, smiling with a lady. The same lady that Stella saw him romancing today in the office. Both of them were full of joy and happiness.

''You again?''Stella asked, sending words to the lady, whose name is Cynthia.

''What!. Don't tell me you are still in this home''Cynthia comfortably said.

''What!. How dare you!''Stella yelled at her.

''How dare you?''Cynthia asked, raising her shoulder high, and posing a serious threat to Stella as if she was a queen or the commander of the territory.

''Hold on, let me talk to her. I have told her to leave, but I don't know what she is still doing here''Gideon interfered in the words between the two women.

Gideon finally went close to Stella, and slapped her two times, saying

''Get out of my house, you bastard''.

Stella was finally kicked out of the mansion, by Gideon his stupid husband, and Cynthia his lover. She wasn't even given an opportunity to talk. She wasn't given a penny by him, to go with. She was just treated like a dog by the both of them. She even started seeing Gideon as a man casted with a spell.However, she wished never to see and meet him again.

She was still out of the mansion along with her daughter, when the thoughts of her going to luge in the nearest hotel, came to her mind. She looked around, and saw how her loads and bags were thrown out by Gideon and his lover. She was just devastated, and doesn't know what next to do. She heard some little amount of money which was with her. She would use them to house herself in the hotel for two days, before going out to find her final rest. Finally, she did it, and was now in the hotel. She had lounge, and left Janeth her daughter in the room that was allocated for them. Janeth was busy sleeping, since it was about to be a thick night.

On the other hand, Stella, who left the room, was seen drinking wine in the bar. She was so frustrated and disappointed. She was feeling so used by her ex-husband, Gideon. All what she felt like doing right now, was nothing but revenge.

While she drank the alcoholic wine that was ordered by her, the thoughts of all her experiences that she had had while being with Gideon, surfaced before her. She could, at this time, remember how she met him at the mall, and how he had previously prevented her past potential suitors from getting along with her before they finally got married. Stella knew that there was something hidden that Gideon had not yet told her about, concerning their marriage. She also remembered how she helped him to get a big contract with the same company that he was working with, and how she also helped him to get at the highest position in the company's management board.

''How are you?. Hello pretty!''She heard a voice saying to her.

Her mind wasn't there with the person. She even thought that it was one of the waiters asking her if she wanted some more drinks.

She was so deep and lost in thought.

Suddenly, she felt the cold hand of someone tapping her on her neck.She turned to see who it was. She then saw the appearance of one who was smiling and stirring at her. She fixed her gaze on the figure, and rolled back her eyes. She wasn't ready to talk to anyone. Her eyes were blurry and heavy, due to the high consumption of alcohol and the hunger to sleep. She was once enjoying a peaceful sleep, when Gideon came to cause disruption to it.

She saw the person who called and tapped her, sitting on the chair that was very close to her.

''What's the problem madam?. You look so angry. Are you into the game, if I may ask?''The person asked.

She once again strolled her eyes at the figure again, and saw that it was a young gentleman, who was putting on a very nice smile on his face.

''Who the hell are you, and what games are you talking about?''Stella asked. She was now interested in talking with him because she was too high on alcohol, and was controlled by it.

''Aren't you a prostitute?.I wish to have you tonight. Even if you want $50,000, I will give it to you''The young man said.

She was thrilled, and was so surprised that she would be getting such an amount per night.

''Let's go to your room then. I will be happy to have the money.

The young man, on the other hand, was happy. He took her to the counter, where he paid for a room.

Upon getting to the room, he raised Stella up in arousement, and brought her down on the bed. Stella rolled on his body, and finally brought him under her control.

''Where is the $50,000?''She asked.

''I see. You are serious right?''The young man asked, still putting a smile on his face.

''If you are not serious, you should have told me before now. Don't you ever repeat this again''Stella said, giving strict warning to him. She took him off her body, and was about to leave, when she heard the young man telling her to give out her account details to him. Stella immediately gave it out to him, and he transferred the sum of $50,000 to her account. She got alert immediately. She was shocked. After it was confirmed that such an amount had been transferred into her account, the young man wrapped his two hands around her, raised her up, and threw her on the bed. The rest would become history.

Two hours later, both of them woke up. It was already midnight,that would usher in the next day.

Stella looked at herself, and was not happy about selling out her body.

''Kindly give me your account details''She demanded.

''Why?''The young man asked.

''Just do it''She insisted.

The young man finally gave it to her, not having any knowledge of what she intended to use it to do.

''I have resend back the money you sent to me''Stella informed him while preparing to leave the room.

The young man thought it was a joke. But soon, he saw an alert from the bank, informing him that the sum of $50,000 had been paid to him.

He was amazed.

''What's your reason for doing this?''The young man asked.

''What's your reason for sending the money in the first place to me?''Stella asked.

She knew that the money was a dream come true for her. She could use the money to buy a small house for herself and her daughter, and even set up a small business for herself. But she decided not to accept it any more because she had come to her senses.

''Because as a prostitute, you will be needing it. It's your pay.

''I am not a prostitute''Stella said, and immediately walked out of the room.
