The Billionaire's Only Desire

It is 7 O'clock in the morning. It is not the time for him to wake up, but today he had to get up early. He never set a routine, he never required it. He is his own boss and he does whatever he wants, he is so much successful that now time respects him and he doesn't need any time to be fixed for anything... It is his hard work of years that he now is gaining the fruit of his work. Today, he has some important work. The cooling of the air conditioner in his room is now freezing him. There is some stuff in his thoughts, that he needs to handle today...

The sunlight is falling on his face from the white curtains of his room. He stretched his arm and put a hand over his eyes. The sunlight disturbed his sleep, he yawned and got up. He sat on his bed and his fingers went into his bed-ruffled hair, he took the remote from the side table and turned off the AC. He set his hair again and removed the blanket. He looked at the clock and saw that he will get late. He was wearing a black knicker and a white vest.

Someone knocked on his door.

"Come in... " He said in his sleepy voice. His butler came inside.

The door of his room opened and the butler came inside with a tray.

"Good Morning, Sir, what will you have for breakfast?" The Butler asked.

"Uncle John, no thank you, I'll just have my coffee." He said.

"Okay, Sir! Here is your coffee. Have a nice day!" His butler placed the tray on the coffee table and left his room.

He went towards the tray, made a cup of coffee for himself then pushed open the curtains of his balcony. His deep eyes fixed on the wide empty skies. He started looking out of the window. Suddenly, his phone start ringing and he walks inside his room to check his phone.

In the other part of the same city. There was a different world where the morning didn't start with coffee. But the cries of a sick mother, her life had been spent in struggle till now and she think it will go like this forever... The new day in her life didn't bring anything new or exciting, the same routine life. A struggling day started when she heard her mother calling her, she woke up from her bed and went straight to her mother. She grabbed her mother's hand and started caressing it.

"Good Morning, Mom!" She greeted her with a fake smile. Her mother hugged her and then looked at her face.

"Good Morning, my beautiful daughter, how are you?" She asked. And Lisa can not tell her mother about her new struggle.

"I am good, mother, why did you call me?" She asked.

"Oh, I need some water..." she said. Lisa gave her mother some water then she got up.

"Mom, you have to freshen up, I will make breakfast for you," Lisa said going to the kitchen. She turned on the gas and started making tea, took out the bread from the fridge, and started to prepare them with some avocado.

Lisa's mother is sick and she needs food and medicines on time. Her mother's voice came again from the room asking if the breakfast was ready.

"Yes, mom, just five minutes..." She said, After five minutes, she took the tray of breakfast and she entered the room again...

"Mom, here is your breakfast, please eat all of it and your medicines, I am getting late, I will go and get ready for work," Lisa said.

"Lisa, first you will eat some food with me and I will let you go..." Her mother said. She smiled and sat beside her, Lisa can not say no to her mother...

After eating breakfast with her mom, she gave her the medicines, and they both finished breakfast. She left to get ready to go to work. She came back to her room and started getting ready to go to her work. Her mind was still stuck on the thoughts that how will she make her life better... All her dreams were already crushed by the harsh reality that she can not pursue her modeling career because she can not leave her mother alone in this state. Lisa huffed and start getting ready.

Lisa comes out of the house to go to work. She stopped in front of her house and remembered that she forgot her bag and ran back inside the house. She is already late for work, and there is only one problem if she will get late today, she would be kicked out of the restaurant. This is for the third time, she got a warning from her boss. She was about to ring the doorbell when her mother opened the door and gave her bag to Lisa.

"Oh, thank you, mom!" She kissed her mother on the cheek and, rushed to get to work.

But when she reached the restaurant, she realized that she is very late. She didn't look towards her boss, from the side, she lowered her eyes without any greetings, she was going to change into her uniform. Lisa knew that something is going to go wrong today. Her boss has seen Lisa coming inside.

Suddenly, the boss got up from his chair with a thud and she got a little scared. Boss came towards her in anger and called the security guards inside in a very loud voice. Lisa can hear the sounds of the boots coming in...

"I have warned you many times, and I have tolerated you, coming late every day! This is enough, this is not the time to come to your work. You are fired!" The boss stopped in front of her and said that to her face. Lisa can see he is very angry.

Lisa knew that it is her mistake but it is not the right tone to talk to anybody. But she needs this job so she said in a very low voice.

"I am sorry. Boss, because of my mother I get late." But her boss didn't hear a thing, she understood that she lost her job today.

"You can leave now or I will ask the guards to escort you out..." The boss said. And it was too much insult for Lisa. She left her workplace and got out, she was crying and wiping her tears.

Lisa knows on the way back, she is surrounded by many problems. She had spent all her resources treating her mother and all her dreams are already lost in her troubles. But she has to handle it all alone. Lisa entered the house, she saw her mother lying on the ground trying to call Lisa.

"Mom, mom, what happened to you? Mom!!!" Lisa started shouting and trying to lift her mother but it seemed impossible for her. Lisa got up and called an ambulance and took her mother to the hospital.

The doctor in the hospital told Lisa that her mother has become paralyzed. Lisa was shocked. She looked at the doctor in utter terror. Seeing the condition of Lisa, the doctor gave her some condolences, that they understand her pain. But now she has to be strong and take care of her mother... And also she has to arrange the money to pay the hospital bills. Lisa did not have money at all, she went outside and sat on a bench placed outside. Lisa didn't realize in her anxiety that another emergency case come up with her mother and this patient of this case is going to change Lisa's life forever...

In Zach's House

The door of his room was opened without any knock. And Zach knows only one person has permission to do it. And she is Cara. Her cheerful voice interrupted him.

"Good morning, Zach!!!" She greeted him with a beautiful smile.

"So you're not ready yet?" She questioned. He smiled.

"Good Morning, Cara! I am ready, should we go?" He greeted back then asked. She nodded her head.

Zachary Damison is a very famous model, number one in the modeling industry. He is a very charming personality and is a caring man. Zach is now handling his own fashion firm and is the CEO of the company with his two partners. Cara is a very famous fashion designer and she is one of my best friends of Zach.

Cara came to pick him up so they both can go to the office.

"You are looking very handsome!" Cara said. Zach is looking very handsome in all black. Cara is standing right in front of him, a smile came upon her face. She approached him and kissed him on his cheek.

"Come on, let's go..." Zach said. Zach grabbed his car keys from the side table of the bed and walked out of the room.

Cara followed him, telling him how she created a few new designs and she is very proud of them.

"I know you will like them..." She said.

"I will tell you after I will see the designs." Zach laughed. They both came downstairs.

"Both of you, have breakfast with us?" Zach's mother offered. But they both excused themselves because they were getting late.

While driving towards the office. They were busy talking about the upcoming fashion show that will be hosted by their company and Cara is the fashion designer for it. Zach checked his mobile phone and there were no messages...

Today, he didn't receive a text from his second best friend, who is like a brother to him. Zach got worried, hoping that everything is alright with Kevin. Zach put the mobile back and headed towards the office.

Zach entered the office, there was a queue of people. And all of them greeted, good morning to him. He came towards his cabin with Cara. Zach called his assistant to ask for the first meeting today, so they can see the designs and discuss the new modeling show. As all of his colleagues come to the meeting room, Zach started talking about his new modeling program. The project was very important for him and Cara. Zach and Cara were discussing the approach for new models when suddenly the door opened, and his assistant Mark came inside. He said with a worried expression.

"Sir, can I come in?" He huffed coming in, Zach nodded with a slight smile on his face.

"Yes, why not? What is it, Mark?" He asked.

"Sir, I have something important to tell you," He said. Zach saw the terrified look on his face.

"What is it? Mark! Yes, tell me what is the matter, is everything fine?" He asked.

"Boss, It's Sir Kevin. He is in the hospital in an emergency." Mark told Zach about the emergency condition of his friend. Zach was shocked to hear it. He was feeling very strange since the morning... Zach knew about Kevin's habits but he didn't think something like this would happen today. Cara also heard it, she was sitting right in front of him and was also shocked to hear the news.

After hearing it, they both didn't wait and got up from their seats. She went to Zach and said in a tear-filled voice.

"Zach, hurry, we have to go to the hospital. So, we can help him." After hearing this, Zach came out from his shocked state. He left everything and walked out of the meeting room. He took out his car key, and Zach and Cara both ran down the parking lot.

Zach didn't know how he drives to the hospital, but after twenty minutes, they reached the hospital. Zach came out of his car with Cara. The people were surprised to see him, he is so famous and people around this area are his fans. They were happy to see him. But Zach did not respond to any of them, he ignored them and ran inside the hospital.

Zach is a huge figure in the fashion industry and people are crazy about him. Zach has a huge fan following, but sometimes it is too much. He huffed.

He is so troubled. Zach just wants to meet his friend and see if he is alright! He reach reception and asked for Kevin. Zach and Cara ran towards the emergency room. As Kevin was admitted to the emergency ward, he started looking for his friend's bed.

Next to Kevin's bed. A very worried girl sat there crying and praying.

Lisa's mother was not getting any better. Lisa was crying to see her in that state.

Zach walked over to Kevin and looked at his condition.

"Kevin, can you hear me?" Zach's said. But Kevin didn't answer even after calling him a lot of times. Zach was so worried seeing him in this state.

"Sir, We have given him an injection, and very soon he will regain consciousness." The doctor standing behind Zach started comforting him. He gave him the details of Kevin's condition.

On the other bed, Lisa was holding her mother's hand and crying. Lisa was worried about how she was going to get her mother treated.

Zach was relieved that Kevin would regain consciousness and he is out of danger. Zach sat on a chair nearby and waited for his friend to come back to his senses.

Lisa sat behind him worried and holding her mother's hand.

"Mom, don't worry, I'll find a solution soon. I will do anything to get you treated." She cried and her voice reached Zach's ears. It turned his attention to Lisa and Zach tried to look at the owner of the voice.

When Zach saw Lisa, Lisa's eyelids were wet. Zach looked into her red face and crying eyes and the first thought came into his mind.

"She is very beautiful!!!" Her crying eyes were pulling Zach towards her, Zach was having a hard time restraining himself to ask her the problem. He wanted to go and talk to Lisa and ask if he can help her, and Zach was getting up from his chair to go to Lisa. Suddenly Kevin opened his eyes and started smiling slightly to see Zach next to him.

Zach was about to ask Lisa what was wrong with her when Kevin coughed. And Cara grabbed Zach's hand. He looked back at both of them worried.

"Kevin, are you okay?" Cara asked with tear-filled eyes.

"Buddy, are you alright? Why did you do this with yourself?" Zach said to Kevin. He is worried for him, but still, his senses are towards the girl.

"I am fine..." Kevin coughed. Cara gave him some water to drink.

"Cara, let me ask that girl, she is crying so much!" Zach said. Cara shook her head in a no manner.

"Zach, we should stay with Kevin at this point. It would be better to be with him, he needs us. Everyone is worried and crying here. We can not help everyone." Cara said.

"Cara, I just wanted to ask about her problem." Zach held Cara's hand and started explaining to her... She nodded her head. He got up to go towards Lisa.

When the nurse came toward them.

"Sir, the doctor wants to meet you." She said. Zach nodded and he and Cara went to the doctor's cabin.

"Hello, Mr. Zach, come sit." The doctor said. They both sat down.

"Dr, how is Kevin?" Zach asked.

"Zach, there is nothing to worry about Mr. Kevin. He is fine." The Doctor said. Zach is still worried. He to be sure asked the doctor in worry.

"Doctor, you can tell me if there is any problem?" He asked.

"No, Zach, he is fine, just a little weak." The Doctor said.

"What if Kevin does it again?" Zach questioned.

"Then we can't guarantee the next time." The doctor warned him.

"Damn, doctor Kevin is very careless but I will try not to be careless for him to do it the next time," Zach said.

The doctor was satisfied after hearing this...

"Mr. Zach, we will discharge Kevin after a few days." The doctor informed him. Zach and Cara thanked him and they came out of the room.

"Come, let's meet up with Kevin, and then let's go, we have work to do..." Cara said. Zach nodded his head and went back to the ward with Cara.

They both stopped near Kevin's bed.

"How are you feeling? Buddy!" Zach sat down on the white chair next to Kevin's bed. Cara sat on the bench in front of him.

"For how long will you keep doing these things?" Cara scolded.

Kevin laughed at it.

"As long as I'm alive, this will go on Cara darling." Kevin flirted with Cara. He does not take anything seriously and that makes Cara furious. How can Kevin take all of it as a joke? She huffed.

"You will never understand our concern for you..." She said.

"Zach, I'll be waiting for you in the car." Cara left the room saying this in an angry tone.

"Why do you always make Cara angry?" Zach asked.

"I like to see the look on her face." Kevin laughed.

"Kevin, stop it and take care of yourself. I will come back to check up on you. And we have a project to do. You have to be better soon and I am warning you this is the last time you did this..." Zach warned Kevin.

Zach got up from the chair and was going to leave. He forgot about the troubled girl. Kevin looked at Zach.

"I'd love it if you would sit down for a while," Kevin said seeing Zach leave.

"I would stop by next time, I was so worried after hearing about your condition. I come to you leaving a very important meeting. But you are fine now, I am satisfied." Zach said in an upset manner.

"After you will discharge from here, we will do this fashion show. I will come to meet you again, but right now I have to go to the office. Take care." Zach came out of the room saying this to Kevin. Kevin always do something stupid and that disturbs Zach and Cara's life. But he is their friend and they both can not leave him.

Zach came out in a hurry and sat in the car.

"Let's go," Zach said with a smile on her face, her stare at Cara.

"Why don't you make him understand? Why did he always do that with me?" Cara explained.

"You know how he is, don't take him seriously," Zach said and grabbed Cara's hand.

"He just joke around with you, now please don't get serious." Zach made her understand. She nodded her head.

"Where are we going now?" Cara looked at Zach and asked.

"We are going back to the office. This project is very important to both of us and I can't neglect it." Zach looked at Cara.

"Zach, maybe you're forgetting something important about this project." Cara reminded Zach of something important. Zach was now thinking about the girl, so he couldn't hear what Cara said.

"Zach?" Cara held Zach's hand. He came out of his thoughts...

"I am talking to you, Zach where is your attention?" Zach looked at Cara and said.

"I am sorry, Yes, say, what is it?" He asked.

"Zach, I need a new face for this project'' She said after a deep thought.

"Yes, Cara, did you think you got any models to be the show stopper with me and Kevin?" Zach asked Cara.

"No, I still didn't have anyone, but Zach I will not be bringing any geriatric models into this project. They all look plastic and very artificial." Cara reasoned her thoughts...

"Hmm, well, we will see, you will get a fresh model," Zach said. Cara looked at Zach and started smiling.

They both were getting out of the parking when Zach once again saw her standing in the medical store. The lines of worry on her face, her eyes watery.

And his heart melted for that girl, but once more feeling erupted from his heart that he didn't understand yet. They drove out of the hospital and went towards the office.

Lisa was going back to the hospital after taking her mother's medicine from the medical store. Lisa kept the medicine on the side table and started talking to her mother.

"How are you feeling mother?" Lisa asked holding her mother's hand. She looked at Lisa and replied by indicating with her eyes that,

"Yes, she is feeling better." On the other bed, Kevin was now awake. He was trying to see Lisa because she was crying continuously... She turned around and Kevin saw Lisa.

"Mom, I wish, I would have money to pay your bills." Kevin was listening to Lisa very carefully.

"Everything will be fine!!! Don't worry," He said. Lisa turned around and saw him.

"Do I know you?" Lisa asked and stared at Kevin. Kevin looked at Lisa.

"To be honest, No. I don't know you, I saw you upset, so I thought to remind you to never lose hope. Everything will be alright..." Kevin said with a smile.

"Thank you very much, I feel a little at ease..." She said.

"I am Kevin, and you?" He asked.

"I am Lisa!!!" She said.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, I hope everything goes okay with you..." Kevin said. She nodded her head and after hearing this, Lisa got up from the chair and went out. Kevin was looking at Lisa and thought about how to stop Lisa for some more time.

Lisa hurriedly got up and came out of the emergency ward. Lisa went to the doctor and started asking the doctor.

"How is mom's condition now?"

"Lisa your mother is on the mend now, as long as the treatment is going on..." Lisa understood what the doctor said. Lisa has given up.

Lisa went out and wanted to be alone for a while. Outside the park, there was a brown bench where Lisa sat down. Lisa was thinking that she had no other choice but to take her mother home because she didn't have money to continue her treatment.

Sitting worried, Lisa suddenly thought that she has to pay today's hospital bill. All the money Lisa had was going to be spent in the hospital today.

When Lisa went to pay the bill. She went to the counter, she found that her bill has already been paid. Lisa was shocked to hear this.

Lisa went to the doctor after hearing about the bill.

"Who has paid this bill doctor?" Lisa came to the doctor's room and asked him.

"Miss Lisa, please, sit comfortably and we will talk." The doctor said.

He was a little shocked to see Lisa's condition.

"Please, sit down, Lisa." Lisa sat on the chair in front of her.

"Doctor, please tell me who helped me." She questioned.

"Lisa, Mr. Kevin has paid your bills." The doctor told him.

"Mr. Kevin?" Lisa was trying to remember the person.

The doctor told Lisa that Mr. Kevin was the one admitted to the bed next to her mother. Lisa remembered that this is the same Mr. Kevin she met an hour ago.

"You should thank them, Lisa." Lisa was surprised to know this.

"Thank you, doctor." Lisa came out of the room saying this and went to meet her mother. There was also Kevin who was waiting for Lisa anxiously.

"Why did you help me? You don't know me!!!" Lisa went to Kevin and asked him.

"Relax, Lisa, I have befriended you. We meet and I thought to help you, dear, it's no big deal." Lisa looked at Kevin in surprise.
