Chapter 1

"Vea! Where's the food?!" Reivea's stepmom shouted loudly. His voice echoes inside their old and small house He stopped washing and then went to his mother-in-law to knock down the lids of the pots.

"M-Ma, we don't have any rice. Besides, the job I applied for hasn't called me yet. My salary from the bakery will still arrive on Saturday," Reiv was still shaking a little when he said that.

He just graduated from college and is currently looking for a job. He applied to a well known beach resort as an accountant and now he is just waiting for his call. The wages there are high and it is quite far from where he lives.

That's what he wants because he wants to get away from the stepmother. While he was waiting, he went to the sideline at the cafeteria that was quite close to their house. It's just walking distance.

Reiv just bowed. The mother pulled him into a room.

I snorted. Just then someone spoke on my phone.

"Reivea." Hellion said emphatically. My eyes widened before looking back at my phone. He hasn't hung up yet.
