The Billionaire's Accidental Nanny

Anna had just been fired from her job as s waiter because she had stood up for her self.

Earlier a customer had tried to make advances towards her, she knew that most if not all the other waitresses did sleep with some of the customers for extra income but she wasn't about to do that though, so when this particular customer made advances she politely refused.

This angered the customer and he caused a scene causing the restaurant manager to rush to the scene and shamelessly the man reported how Anna had refused his advances towards her and her manager being more shameless did something she had call "The expected"

Shockingly her manager had sided with the man, though it was expecting. She knew he had hated her since she refused to be one of his s*x mates like some of her female colleagues were.

He immediately took the chance and fired her at the spot. Shocked she walked out of the VIP room and into the back office. She changed her cloth uh uhes and walked out the her restaurant through the back doors. She could hear low mumblings at her back.

Everything was like a dream she had lost her only source of income and she had bills to pay for. She could as well go live under a bridge.

Tiredly she walked to the road and flagged down a cab.

"District G pls" she said

"That would be 50"

Anna checked her bag and she had less than that.

She discharged the man and decided to walk instead.

Anna kept on thinking about how to keep paying her bills and how to find a new job. Lost in thought she walked far without realizing it.

After a minutes a car sped passed her splashing water on her

"Hey you bastard how dare you" she screamed.

She walked for about a mile and half before the rain started.

"Argh how worse could this day get" she thought while running towards shelter and standing beside a man who looked who was answering a call at a corner.

"Hey have you found one yet" she heard the man beside her say.

"What do you mean" he continued he looked like he was about to snap, he was already looking red and angry

Anna listened closely now, even trying to lean closer to the man

"We need to find a nanny as soon as possible"

"Wow a job vacancy" Anna thought, her mind running back and forth, this could be her chance she thought to herself

"I need a reply before the next thirty minutes" the man continued panting heavily after all that shouting.

Anna thought about it, she had no idea about taking care of anyone plus she didn't even know the person's age and personality, this could be a new type of scam acting like there was some job vacancy and kidnapping anybody that showed interest.

Gathering up courage she said " I don't know if it matters but I am a professional nanny" she had just lied through her teeth.

"Really that's perfect" he said

"Do you have experience " he inquired

"Well....I have worked...with different families and I have a lot of.....um a lot of experience with kids, even elderly people, yeah.

"Wow that's great your hired."

"Really" Anna couldn't believe her eyes. This was the fastest job she had gotten all her life.

"But, you start now. Is it possible?." He said

"Start now!" She had no one to go home to but it was too sudden.

"Can you do it. If you can't no problem I will look for another person." He continued

"No, it's alright" Anna said quickly

"I just need to get a few things for my self" she said politely

"You will be provided with a uniform so clothing won't be a problem and you will be given toiletries too." The man said

"Okay sir." Anna replied

"We leave now". He told her.

"Okay" she said while he made another call.

Anna looked at the man before her. She was barking orders into his phone. Cursing and swearing at a point, listening at another, he reminded her of father before he passed. Anna's thought were broken when she heard the man saying he was waiting for a car to arrive.

Anna looked out and realized that the rain had stopped

After the call a car pulled up in front of Anna and the unknown man Anna had trusted looked at her

"Get in" he said while motioning her to the car door.

"Yes sir" she got into the car, she knew that this could be a terrible decision but she was desperate to find a job fast than thinking about the pros and cons of her present condition.

After minutes of driving, they arrived a big house. It was really large with a lot of windows. It felt as if they occupants had no privacy at all which brought chills to Anna's bones in an extremely weird way.

Luckily the house was well hid and had lots of green lush trees giving the house a nice and dark scenery.

Anna tagged behind the man and walked into the house, the interior of the house was as good as the exterior just looked empty of emotions in general it lacked a homely feeling and unnecessarily too large in her opinion but who was she to judge.

"Stand here" the man said and started walking up the stairs reaching the top and disappearing at the turn.

Anna stood there looking around the house thinking about her own home and how to pay off her bills if she got the job.

She was worried she might not reach the requirements and go back to the past life.

"Anna" she looked up and there stood the most handsome man she had ever seen stand there with a little boy who looked exactly like him.

"Is she the one?." The handsome man said looking at her harshly

"Is she the one"Axel asked

"Yes sir,she is" the man that brought Anna in answered slightly bowing

"Is she okay?"Axel said looking at his son

"Mmhh"the little boy answered half heartingly

Okay she's hired" Axel said giving Ann. judging looks before leaving hand in hand with his son

Anna was shocked, this was the easiest job interview she had been in .

"Come this way" the man that brought her in properly the master's secretary called Anna attention.

Anna walked behind him obediently behind him. He leads her into what seemed like a boy's quarter of the house

"You will take care of young master's needs and tend to him" the man began.

Anna listened closely and took lot's of mental notes.

"As for your pay, you will earn xxx dollars and if you work for 1 month your pay will be increased.

Anna was surprised she was going to be earning thrice her normal pay are the restaurant. This was great.

"This will be your room, your uniform is in the wardrobe so settle in properly, your work official begins tomorrow. The man said

"Thank you sir"Anna said and walked into room.

She was so happy, because she would finally pay her bills if she works for the next three months she will save up enough to start her small bakery like she had always dreamed of.

She just had to get her head in a place and work hard. She could even get much sleep that thinking about her dreams. She finally got some sleep around three am that night.

Waking up and finding her way to the kitchen she prepares breakfast and goes to wake the little master up.

"Wakey wakey Larry" she cooed.

The little boy groaned and looked up at Anna with his large eyes.

Assisting him to take his bath and get ready, Anna took Larry down for breakfast. Soon Larry was ready to go to school

After dropping Larry at school Anna had come back home to arrange Larry's room. Walking into the house she finds Axel having breakfast

"Good morning sir" Anna greeted but there was no response.

She walked to Larry's room and started work, every where was messy. She worked for about an hour and thirty minutes in his room before going to work on other parts of house.

She started cleaning up the house, she noticed a door and decided to clean the room too. She walked into the room, it was a study with shelves filled with books. She walked around till she heard a voice, she walked in towards the sound of the voice

She sees Axel talking to someone on the phone looking angry, she tried to walk back but she hits a shelf, causing Axel to look at her.

"Am sorry sir, I didn't know you were here."

"What are you doing here?"Axel asked with a very cold expression

"Hmm...I..."Anna stuttered

"Do you have any business here?"

"No sir I was trying to keep the house clean and decided to clean here too I didn't know you were here."Anna explained looking down

"What is your job description?" Axel asked looking at like she was a piece of ugly furniture

"Taking care of Larry sir"

"Is this Larry's room?"He continued

"No sir"

"Get out of this place and don't ever enter this room if you still want this job"

"Yes sir" Anna answered scurrying out the study room.

"Must he be that rude." Anna muttered under her breath. "All this rich people have their way of life sometimes" Anna thought walking to her room.

Soon it was time to get Larry from school. When Anna gets to school, She asks around a little for Larry's class and is surprised to see Larry looking disheveled.

"What happened Larry, who did this?" Anna asked a concerned expression on her face.

"Don't tell me you got in a fight?"

"Why do you care?, Leave me alone." Larry replied walking to the direction of the car park

The drive home was quiet and Larry just kept looking at Anna angrily which made her uncomfortable. "How can are little boy's stare be so intimidating" she thought

"What will you like to have for lunch"Anna asked Larry

"Am not hungry"

"You have to eat something at least, how about snacks?"

"I am not hungry"

"Okay no problem" Anna said smiling rather mischievously she was going to try out an old trick.

She lets Larry go upstairs. Returning to the kitchen, she starts preparing a nice cookie dough and her special made ice cream.

Soon she was through, she walked to Larry's room with her cookies and ice cream in tow and knocked slightly and gently walked in

Larry was on the floor scrabbling something on a piece of paper. Anna sits close to him and starts eating like she was in a food advert , taking her time and savouring each bite.

She noticed Larry's occasionally staring at her and continued to make her act more convincing.

" Do you care" Anna askes Larry

"No" Larry says but then his stomach rumbles loudly

" Looks like your tum tum says another thing, here have some" Anna said reaching out the cookies

"Thanks" Larry mumbled

"What are you writing"

"My homework" Larry replied looking at Anna like she was a piece of furniture

"Ohh" She said thinking that this was the same way his father had looked at her earlier today

After making sure that Larry had finished his snacks she stood up and left him alone because he had started glaring at her again

She walked to the garden and saw the Driver Adam there washing the car

"Hi there"

"Oh Anna how are you"

"I am fine" she answered sitting on a bench in the car park

"Umm.....can I ask you something?"

"Yes what is it" Adam answered looking up at Anna

"Umm.. where is Larry's mom like Mr Axel's wife.

"She's not here"

"Is she..."Anna looked around before completing "dead"

"No, no,no, she is dead or so I think"

"So why isn't she here"

"She left, Three years ago."

"Woah, why"

"I don't know" Adam said leaving Anna to think to herself

"Anna" Axel called

"Yes sir" Anna turned looking at Axel who had possibly heard their conversation

"Anna"

"Yes sir"

"Where's Larry" Axel asked so normally making Anna wonder if he had a

"In his room sir"

"Has he eaten"

"Yes, sir he refused to eat any food but I made him cookies sir, he said he is full before I left him to finish his homework sir" Anna explained bowing slightly

That was all the information Axel needed before turning to leave, not before glaring at her as usual.

"Is he always like this" Anna asked Adam when Axel was out of sight

"Like what"

"Intimidating, mean, harsh"

"No, not really, his not that bad, you know, he wasn't always like that, you know,"

"Really what changed him"

"His wife, she left him"

"Oh, that's a shame, but sir is perfect why would any woman leave him"

"I dunno"

Anna remained silent thinking, maybe that was why Larry was the way he was too.

It was time for dinner and Larry and his dad were having a small discussion while having dinner.

Anna stood at a place watching them it was great seeing them smile genuinely

"Anna has Larry being a good boy"Axel's voice woke Anna from her thoughts

"Yes sir"

"See I told you" Larry chirped in happily

"I know I believed you just wanted to be sure" Axel replied

Larry just hummed a sound and countinued eating."Nana" Larry called out

"Yes"Anna answered

"Am full"

"Huh, you haven't eaten half of your food at all just eat a little more".

"But you gave me excess food, please am really full."

"Okay" Anna replied helping Larry out of his chair and taking him upstairs

"Now your going to be a good boy and go brush your teeth" Anna said as the walked into Larry's room.

"Yes nana, follow me."

"Okay"

When Anna had helped him and brush his teeth and tucked him to sleep, she left the room and started walking to the dinning area.

"Anna"

" Yes sir" Anna answered Axel was standing behind her

"Let's have a talk."

"Okay sir"

Anna tagged behind Axel as walked to his home office and sat on his swivel chair

"Has Larry being good" Axal asked once he sat down

"Yes sir"

"Larry has been getting into fights at school and you decided that it was a waste if your time to tell me right"Axel said giving Anna judging looks

"Am sorry sir, I didn't want to disturb you and..."

"And what"

" I.....umm....tried to talk to him about it but he didn't want to talk about it, but I was planning to tell you, sir" Anna tried to explain

"You planned to tell me, when?"

" I wanted to tell you when you where less busy, from work."

Axel chuckled sarcastically." Because am busy does not mean I don't have time for my son"

"I am sorry sir, this won't happen again I promise" Anna said with a lowered head

" It should better because if it does, consider yourself fired. I want to be the first to know about anything that happens to Larry, am I understood"

" Yes,sir. Am sorry sir."

" You can leave" Axel said countinuing his work.

Anna turned to leave and walked towards the door. Walking straight to her room she went to bed thinking of the talk between her and Axel and thinking of a way to help Larry.

Few days after the talk Anna and Axel had, Anna routine and was the same. Waking up early to prepare Larry for school, taking him to school, coming back, keeping the house clean while avoiding all the roads to Axel's study

It really felt lonely in a mansion with no one to talk to and the fact that she always had a lot to say made her loneliness worse than it already was.

After another day's work she again decided to bake a nice chocolate cake since that was Larry's favorite flavor which she had heard Adam say once. At least it will help her get the reason of his numerous fights, will she hoped

After a while of thinking she decides to go for a very simple cake but with childish designs at least that would entice him.

If Anna had a chance to choose between wrapping a shark with a present wrap and making Larry eat,she would gladly wrap the shark up, Larry had never tried to hide his dislike towards her, always glaring at her even if he was not good at it, never answering her questions, only talking to her when she brought him pastries. Infact that was the only way he talked to her.

After a while she was done with the cake and decided against the design she was not paid extra for that , by the time she was through with the cake Larry was home from school.

"Hi Larry how was school today?"Anna asked nicely

"Good" Larry answered in his usual nonchalant form

"That's great, go upstairs, I will be right there."

Larry just hummed his reply and turned towards the stairs, Anna finished up the cake preparation, took a slice and a juice glass and went upstairs

"Knock, knock, open up Larry" Anna voiced out a bit, but there was no reply or response, she decided to open the door herself.

On opening the door, she saw Larry massaging a red spot on his arm.

"Oh my God Larry, what is that?"

She tried to reach out but Larry had already covered up the spot.

"What was that?" Anna asked sounding very concerned and her face with squinted eyes trying to get Larry to speak up.

"Nothing" Larry answered backing away

"But there is a red spot on your arm."

"But there is nothing wrong with me"

"If you don't tell me I will tell your daddy that you fought in school, since you have refused to tell me what happened" Anna said hoping it will get Larry to say anything.

"No, don't tell daddy I just hit my hand on my desk. I am sorry"

"No baby no need to be sorry, let me get the first aid box" she led Larry to sit down and then proceeded to get the first aid box. She knew Larry was lying because he wouldn't possibly keep bumping into things in school, but her main concern now was helping him with the red spot and tiny bruise.

After cleaning the bruises, she offered him the cake and helped him with his work while getting him to talk about his day. At least she was getting somewhere in breaking down the wall, he put around himself.
