It was Lush's habit to buy a woman. Perhaps he inherited that behavior from his father, but he was a single man seeking amusement. He purchases celebrities and simple women with decent backgrounds. However, a woman approached him and offered herself directly for three hundred thousand pesos. This woman was his employee in his company, and the reason was supposedly to redeem land mortgaged in the province. They had an intimate relationship for a month or two until he found out that this woman was already married to a missing man.

Chapter 1 1

"This is the story of Lux and Heart's son, Lush Miguel Montesalvo."

1

The woman was squirming while Lush Miguel held her head, and he didn't allow his dick to escape from the woman's mouth. They were in a famous hotel and the people there knew him, bringing beautiful and famous women.

Women are his plaything, his toys and his pastime. They're his slave when it comes to sex.

He was currently having sex with this woman, whose name on television is Lynch. The girl became known in indie films and took part in TodaMax. It's a site where the show is bold and for adults only.

He was producing such shows on this app. It is owned by the Toda network, which also produces several pornographic shows.

He produces decent and wholesome shows but behind that clean image, he produces dirty shows, too.

He is one of the viewers of TodaMax and he is a man who is alive and has an active sex life.

At the age of thirty-one, he had never taken a woman seriously. He's not a playboy or anything, he's just traumatized by being in a relationship because of his Daddy's first wife, Diana.

Lush moved non-stop as she knelt on the bed and the artist he bought was sucking on his length.

It was his 4th day with this woman. One hundred and fifty thousand was his fee for this bold star for one week, because she not that famous but really beautiful.

She didn't have a project in the world of showbiz so she accepted the offer of his right-hand, when Lush saw her at a premiere night of the film under his production company.

Lush looked up and closed her eyes as the girl's mouth was closed. He has a feeling that she doesn't want to swallow his penis because she's almost having a reflux but that's what he wants now.

He doesn't let any moment with a woman without oral sex or merely just a blowjob and handjob. That alone satisfied him. A woman's mouth and hands can make him happy, even if he can't penetrate between her thighs.

He moaned as he felt his liquid slowly sizzle inside her mouth.

He had reached his climax now.

He growled as if he didn't want to do anything but he just looked and raised his eyebrows.

"Swallow," he huskily commanded.

The woman closed her eyes tightly and it was obvious how she forcefully swallowed what he released.

Lynch almost jumped and immediately ran to the bathroom, but the corner of his lips rose and then he shook his head.

Damn.

He suddenly lost interest in it. The way how this woman seduced him during the premiere night, it seemed like she was an expert in bed. Now, swallowing his sperm made her puke.

He was deceived.

Lush rudely walked to the bedroom closet. He opened the cabinet door and pulled out his bag.

He put on briefs and pants without saying a word, while the voice of a woman who was nauseous, as if it was the end of the world because she had swallowed semen, echoed in his ears.

Shit.

His semen is not cheap. It is a billionaire and a woman is lucky enough to swallow it will never be a disadvantage.

Gross as it may seem but he really enjoys it.

He took the key from the table after putting on his polo shirt. He didn't even manage to press that button. He took a step and just in time Lynch came out of the bathroom.

"W-Where are you going, Miguel?" He asked her.

"I had an urgent call and I have to go back to work."

"Wait a minute!" she said angrily then blocked him , and violently pushed his arm, "The week is not over yet."

"So?" He shrugged, "What's the problem, woman?"

"Still a few more days!"

She struggled, and he held her by the chin. "You were paid in full, so even if I have to end this deal today, it won't be a problem. I don't owe you anything. Come back to me when you're not disgusted with my semen anymore."

A corner of his lips twitched, and he didn't bother to suppress it, leaving her dumbfounded.

That's his problem. He easily gets bored with women, so he's never had a serious relationship. Even if a woman excels in bed, once he gets tired, he's done. He will definitely walk out of the room, and there won't be a second chance.

When Lush got into his Bugatti La Voiture, one of the three most expensive cars in the world, which he owned, he didn't care about the ownership of the other two Bugattis; as long as one was his, he was satisfied.

He checked his phone first and read messages from his mother.

Oh my God. His chat box is about to explode due to the number of messages from his mom.

Despite his age, Heart still treats him like a baby. According to her, he's less mature than his younger sibling. The reason being that the younger one is supposedly more mature than him.

Does someone immature manage a billion-dollar company? His mom is really judgmental.

He just shrugged and replied to Heart's 102 messages. Those messages have been piling up since the day he disappeared because he was with a woman.

Lush: Love you always, Mom.

He replied with a kissing emoji. He didn't have time to read through more than a hundred messages from his mom, so he expressed his love instead.

He placed his smartphone In the holder.

He fastened his seatbelt and drove slowly. He picked up his radio to inform his bodyguards who were nearby.

He stopped by the side of the road to enter the highway, but his attention was caught by a woman in a wedding gown running out of the church, collapsing by the roadside, hysterically crying and seemingly on the verge of death.

What the fuck? Something seems wrong. He just saw a lunatic.

Chapter 2 2

Heart raised her eyebrows when Lush arrived at the mansion. He was reluctantly invited to a late-night dinner with his family. Ignoring his Mommy's deadly stare, he quickly approached his smiling younger sister.

"Hi, sis," he greeted, causing her eyebrows to twitch as he kissed her on the cheek.

Then, he turned to his mother, squinted his eyes, and said, "Mom, you're getting younger, a," he remarked.

"Where have you been? You didn't even reply to my messages."

"What? I replied. You better check your phone, Mom. You'll see my reply," he proudly said.

"When?" Heart asked sternly.

"Just now!" His proud response made Delight smile while shaking his head.

"You're really crazy," his father teased.

"What's important is that I replied! Mommy is always high blood," he added, sitting beside his father.

"How's Babuela?" He inquired about his father's grandmother.

He never forgot to ask about his father's grandmother all the time. Carmenzita was quite old, over a hundred years, seemingly impossible to believe. She was in a wheelchair and mostly stayed at home, but she still recognized them, even though she often forgot things.

"She's fine. She's already asleep since it's too late for her to join us," Lux informed him.

Believe it or not, his parents personally took care of Carmenzita. They were the ones living with their grandmother, while he and Love had their own lives. Since they turned eighteen, they were given the freedom to do what they wanted in life, as long as it didn't involve wrongdoing, because his mother was the first to oppose it.

"I'll check on her later," Lush said as he sat down.

He noticed some missing faces-Love's spouse and nieces and nephews were absent. Delight's spouse and child were also not present.

As for him, he had no spouse or children to account for, as he didn't want them in the first place.

"You better. You know Mama's overjoyed just to see you," Lux told him, and he nodded.

It's indeed true, and even if he doesn't show or say it, he feels saddened by his Babuela's age, whom he has been with since childhood. Carmenzita was still young back then, practicing yoga. Many friends and even her colleague, who managed the foundation, passed away a long time ago. The fortunate one who enjoyed a long life was the elderly Carmenzita, despite her forgetfulness.

Carmenzita was now declared the oldest person in the Philippines, at the age of 121, turning 122.

"You're going to cry," Love teased him, so he looked at his sister. She knew how much he loved their Babuela. Despite their aging, that term of endearment for the old woman remained unchanged.

"Silly. Why would I cry? Babuela is still strong, you're crazy!" he retorted, making his sister laugh.

"She was asking for you these past few days. You didn't visit her," Heart told him, causing him to bite his lip, feeling a pang of guilt. He admitted it.

"Lush Miguel," his Mom said with teary eyes, "Mama is really old now. If being with some women is your reason for not checking on her, please don't."

"I'm sorry, Mom," he nodded to his mother.

"For me, it's okay if you don't reply to my chats, but there's an old lady here hoping to see you before she sleeps."

"Abstain from women for a while, bro," Delight joked, but he couldn't smile.

His Mom was really onto him.

"I won't sermon in front of food, but I don't have time for that. If I do it through chat, you won't read it anyway. Maybe you're Diana's child, your Dad's ex, always in the inbox zone."

"Come on, Mom," he said as his father scratched his head.

"I'm getting dragged into this. We're senior citizens, but your Mom still knows the history."

They laughed, except for his mother who just smiled.

"I'll visit her every day. I promise. Let's eat, Mommy. Sorry again," he said, and she nodded.

God. Who would even feel so glad and happy if a hundred messages were badly ignored? Even being in the inbox zone wouldn't bring joy.

"WHERE have you been really?" Love scowled at him as they walked towards their grandma's room. Her arms crossed over her chests. Love acts taller but she is not tall, taking a height after their petite Mommy.

"Don't even bother asking, Love. It's like we don't know our brother," Delight chimed in, wrapping his arm around him.

"I don't know whose side you're on, Kuya," Love retorted, laughing.

"I'm not taking sides. I'm just in the middle. Like a turncoat."

They all laughed.

"You know, sis, women are part of a man's life. We will get weak if we do not womanize."

"Ugh! You involve other men, but you're the only womanizer here. I'm praying you get karma."

She left them and quickly approached Carmen's room.

"Look at this, it's like you're not my sibling," he teased, following his gaze to his youngest sister. He paused as something vibrated in his pocket – Melo's call.

He saw Melo's number.

"There, another woman calling. When Melo calls, it's always about a woman," Delight remarked, looking at the screen of his smartphone.

"This could be about business, bro," he insisted, leaving them and joining Love.

"Whatever you say, bro."

He raised his hand and entered Carmen's room.

Even though Delight wasn't blood-related, Carmen considered him a great grandchild. Lush godfather, Vandros, acted as a father figure to Delight, treating his dad as a true brother.

He answered Melo's call, as it could be a business emergency. He couldn't afford to miss that.

"Mel," he said to his right hand.

"Sir, Miguel, I delivered the documents for the new film you needed to review. Funding is required immediately once you approved it. I brought them here to save you the trouble of returning to the office to find them on your desk."

"Thank you," he replied.

"They're in the reception area, sir. And... your ex-girlfriend arrived fifteen minutes after you left the office."

His brow immediately furrowed. He wasn't aware he had an ex-girlfriend.

"Who? I apparently have an ex, and I didn't even know," he said, chuckling.

"Miss Anne Estravez."

Jesus. She's not his ex. That's the rumor she's spreading, but it's not true. He simply escorted that woman. She's the acting CEO of TodaMax Network, and her father is the chairman. She's preparing to take over her father's position, and because they are business partners with Don Benito Estravez, he also maintains a professional relationship with Anne.

They were together when TodaMax was launched a year ago. Anne was the face of the app, and he was the face of the production company. Since then, rumors circulated that they had a relationship. He would admit that he had sex with her more than ten times, but he got tired of it and avoided her.

They were just friends because his Mommy saw Anne kissing another man back then. Since then, Lush distanced himself from that woman.

"She personally delivered an invitation for the upcoming birthday of her father, sir Miguel."

"Okay. Is there anything else?"

"Nothing more, sir."

"Thanks," he said and ended the call.

He didn't know if he would attend Don Benito's birthday party. Most likely, Anne would cling to him like a snake, something he hadn't even tolerated.

That woman was too dramatic and played innocent when they first met.

Of all things he disliked, he couldn't stand a woman who acted all cute and had too many demands in life. Even if he wasn't a macho man, being ordered around by her felt worse than being a male nanny.

He didn't become Lush Miguel Montesalvo just to be played around and commanded by a woman.

Chapter 3 3

3

Ruth's head pounded as the police officer's words played like a broken record, repeatedly echoing in her ears.

"We still have no lead on your husband's disappearance, Miss Eduardo. The people who took him remain unidentified, but we're doing everything we can."

"Useless!" she angrily exclaimed at the officer before being grabbed by her cousin, who shook her and shot her a disapproving look.

Despite knowing she was being reprimanded for her words against law enforcement, Ruth couldn't help her frustration.

"Miss Eduardo, we're doing our best, give us time to do our job. We can't provide information right now; it's only been three days since your boyfriend went missing," the officer reasoned, but her temper remained hot.

"Say it, I don't have money, that's why!" she retorted, annoyed, Glancing at the cop's surname as Jimenez.

Rosemarie quickly pulled her away, saying, "Thank you, sir. We'll come back when El Niño phenomenon ended in my cousin's head. Sorry, sorry."

As she was dragged out of the precinct, tears streaming down her face, Ruth forcefully withdrew her arm.

"Why are you apologizing, Ate Rose? It's their job!"

"Are you foolish?" Rosemarie asked, "By acting like that, they'll be less inclined to help. You're worse than a Hamas member with your explosive words."

"True," she muttered, wiping her tears.

Looking into the distance, Ruth pondered on her first meeting with Baron. She met him at the market. He was a rice vendor at Lagoste's rice store, while she was a mere employee at Montevez PC, holding the lowest position as a janitress in the bathrooms. Her daily wage was 533 pesos, with a 150-peso meal allowance, cleaning the restroom multiple times a day.

She earned around seventeen thousand a month, but rent for her apartment was three thousand five hundred. Calculating everything, she was left with about five thousand a month, barely enough considering the cost of living.

Ruth had been an orphan since childhood. Her father was struck by lightning in the fields, leading to his demise. Her mother had long passed away, poisoned during her pregnancy with Ruth's supposed only sibling.

Her only guardian was her aunt Mening, Rosemarie's mother. Mening recently moved to Manila due to her marriage to Baron. Rose used to work at Macho Café and became a temporary cashier when the owner went abroad. With a degree in Business Management, Rose was accepted for the position.

Ruth, on the other hand, had temporarily halted her studies to save money for her wedding with her boyfriend. It was a simple ceremony, just wedding attire for her and a Barong Tagalog for Baron, devoid of flowers and attendants.

It was akin to a civil wedding, but they chose to do it in a church. For them, their love was what truly mattered.

They had planned to go to Batanes for their honeymoon, but everything changed with the groom's disappearance.

Three years into their relationship, Baron decided to marry her. She couldn't understand the rush and the reason behind it. Despite her love for him, she agreed, but the joy of their wedding was abruptly shattered as Baron was taken by unknown men on their way to the reception.

The harrowing scene of those men assaulting her husband haunted her. It happened so suddenly. Why was Baron kidnapped? What could the kidnappers gain from a rice mill worker and a pushcart driver of cooking oil in the market?

Lying helpless outside the church, she felt like the vehicle that took Baron had vanished like a bubble. Initial police findings suggested that Baron might have enemies or significant debts. However, he had no recollection of any such issues.

Who could be an enemy to her husband, who dealt only with sacks of rice in Lagoste's store? Every day, he faced nothing but rice or oil at work. She couldn't believe it. Baron wasn't a gambler, and he had no outstanding debts; he was busy saving for their wedding.

"Stop crying. You won't think clearly like that, Ruth. Mother has left, and it's just the two of us now. I'll accompany you in dealing with Baron's disappearance. I'll find a job where I can and will not go back to the province for the meantime. You might end up committing suicide."

Rosemarie's irritation was evident as she spoke, biting her lip.

"I'm still sane, you know, Ate Rose."

"For now," Rose replied, "When you collapsed, I do nkt know if we should admit you to a mental institution."

Hmp.

"You outdid Nora Aunor in your collapsing skills at the church," Rosemarie said, trying to lighten the mood, but she couldn't find a reason to smile.

How could she smile when the man she loved was missing, and she didn't know if he was still alive?

"Stop it," Rosemarie said again, wiping away her tears.

She nodded.

She felt embarrassed. Even though she was in the province, her cousin sent her half of the rent for her boarding house. Her cousin is still unmarried and didn't want to get married. She was 35, while Ruth was 21. Her cousin worked as a cashier in a paint store owned by a Chinese in the province and that's the job Rose left there.

Rose's support for her was unlimited, so when Baron offered marriage, she agreed. They could help each other, and it would relieve Rose of her obligations.

Although it came from the heart, it was also so much.

In return, she allowed her Aunt Mening to manage the small rice field her father left her. During harvest, her aunt sent her rice, which she shared with their neighbors in Aurora, Quezon, their province.

"Sort your life out, Ruth," her cousin lectured, "You have a job. How will you find Baron if you're like this?"

She remained silent. The only way she could think of to expedite her search for her husband was to hire a detective to help her.

She might lose her sanity if she will not find her husband.

She had to find a way to earn money quickly to aid in the search for her missing husband.

After regaining composure, she and her cousin walked towards the road to wait for transportation.

Standing at the jeepney stop, her cellphone rang. It was Bernadet calling.

Ruth hesitated before answering Bernadet's call, her mind still clouded with fear about Baron's mysterious disappearance.

She took a deep breath and answered, "Hello?"

Like her, Berna is also a janitress in the same company where she works, but they handle different floors of the building. She is assigned from the lobby up to the third floor.

Berna immediately confronted her. It was already 10:30 in the morning, and the coffee break was over.

"Hey, you're going to be AWOL!" Berna greeted her.

"What?!"

"Sir Dennis is angry. He's asking why you haven't come to work, and you didn't even inform him that you'd be absent. You should've just invited him to your wedding."

"But I don't have much money to invite everyone. Some might get mad if I only invite a few," she explained.

"Anyway, you better show up tomorrow because it's the last day of the grace period. He's so grumpy. Wilma and I said we'd clean you're area for today, and I was willing to do it too, but that dirty old .an refused. He said, let it stink so you'll learn. They'll call you on the higher floor, and you might get fired."

Oh, God.

Is fate really against her now? She lost her husband, and now she might lose her job, too? How will she continue searching for Baron if she stops working?
