Chapter 1 The start

--

Dr. Aaron's words hung in the air like a guillotine, poised to drop and sever all hope. Emma's heart raced as she clutched the armrests of the worn hospital chair, her knuckles weak with desperation.

"Hold on...Let me get this straight, Doctor," Emma said, her voice trembling. "You're telling me that my mother's surgery, her only chance at survival, depends on me finding a huge sum of money? And without the money there will be no treatment for her? Even if she dies right in front of you?"

Dr. Aaron's expression was a mask of sympathy, but his eyes betrayed a hint of impatience. "I'm afraid so, Emma. The hospital's policy is clear: payment upfront or no procedure. Your mother's condition is critical, and time is running out."

Emma felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She thought she'd been prepared for anything, but this...this was a nightmare. "How much money are we talking about?"

"Thirty thousand dollars," Dr. Aaron replied, his voice firm but not unkind.

Emma's mind reeled. Thirty thousand dollars might as well have been thirty million. She was a struggling club worker, doing multiple jobs just to make ends meet. Where was she supposed to find that kind of money?

"What about financial aid or assistance programs? Or anything just to save her right now" Emma asked, grasping at straws.

Dr. Aaron shook his head. "Your mother's condition doesn't qualify for priority funding. I'm sorry, Emma. Time is running out, this is the only advice I can offer you and that is for you to be very quick, she can not survive it without undergoing a surgery"

Emma's eyes welled up with tears as she thought of her mother, lying in the hospital bed, fighting for her life. She felt a surge of determination. She would find a way, no matter what it took.

"I'll do it," Emma said, her voice firm. "I'll find the money."

Dr. Aaron's expression softened. "I'm sorry, Emma. I truly am. But I know you'll do everything you can. You just have to try." And with that he walked away

Emma nodded multiple times, it was as if she was growing crazy "I can do it.. I must do it." She murmured to herself.

Emma's feet felt heavy as she trudged through the hospital corridors, the antiseptic scent and muted beeps of machines her constant companion. She turned a corner, and her heart skipped a beat as she caught sight of her mother's frail form, her body weak as she lay on the bed, surrounded by the sterile glow of medical equipment.

Her mother's eyes, sunken and weary, met Emma's, and a faint smile flickered on her lips. Emma's throat constricted as she forced a smile back, trying to hide the desperation clawing at her insides. She approached the bed, her gaze drifting to the oxygen mask covering her mother's mouth, the soft whoosh of the ventilator scares her.

With a heavy heart, Emma turned away, her eyes drawn to the window. The view was breathtaking, a tapestry of city lights and stars twinkling like diamonds scattered across the velvet expanse. But the beauty was lost on her. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of hopelessness.

Sinking into the chair beside her mother's bed, Emma let out a shuddering sigh. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she whispered, "I'm only 21...and yet I'm suffering like I've done something wrong for being in this world, cant I just be at peace for once? Why didn't he create me into the world of the rich? Why did he create me just to suffer and cry my eyes out." Her voice cracked, and she felt the dam break. Tears streamed down her face, hot and relentless.

"Oh God...what should I do? Thirty million dollars is beyond me, so beyond me" she said with tears, her head thrown back, as if expecting a miracle to descend from the heavens. Her body shook with sobs, the weight of her responsibilities crushing her.

Just then, her mother's hand stirred, the frail fingers extending toward Emma, she looked behind her and saw her mother's handing searching for her. With a jolt, Emma grasped the hand, feeling the fragile warmth and the faint pulse. Her mother's eyes, cloudy with medication and exhaustion, locked onto hers.

"Sweetie...don't cry, Emma," her mother whispered, the words barely audible over the machines. "I'll be okay...I promise, I will be very strong and back to my feet again."

Emma's tears redoubled at the familiar endearment, the one her mother had used since childhood. She felt like she was losing her grip on reality.

"I'll find a way, Mom," Emma vowed, her voice trembling. "I'll get the money. I won't let you down, you will survive I promise you, even if it costs me more than I can offer, I will make sure to get the money and you are going to be alright."

Her mother's gaze drifted away, her chest rising and falling with labored breaths. Emma felt a surge of determination. She would move mountains, beg, borrow, or steal – whatever it took to save her mother's life.

Emma's trembling fingers grasped the phone, her eyes fixed on her mother's fragile form as she waited for Natalie to answer. The ringtone seemed to stretch on forever, each passing moment amplifying Emma's desperation.

"Hey, girl! What's up?" Natalie's cheerful voice was a jarring contrast to Emma's anguish.

Emma's voice cracked as she spoke, "Natalie, my mom...she's sick. And I need help."

The line went silent for a moment before Natalie asked, "Where are you right now? I thought as much, you didnt show up tonight"

Emma's gaze drifted back to her mother, the beeping machines and antiseptic smell a harsh reminder of her reality. "I'm at the hospital. Mom's condition is critical. I need money,Lots of it Natalie."

Natalie's tone turned serious. "How much do you need?"

Emma hesitated, her mind racing with the impossibility of her situation, she didn't know if she should say it but then she tries to open up to her. She took a deep breath and whispered, "Thirty..."

Natalie cut her off, her voice firm but gentle. "Don't say it, Emma. I don't have that kind of money, where on earth do you want me to see thirty and above?... But I can help you with something."

Emma's eyes narrowed, her grip on the phone tightening. "What is it?"

Natalie's pause was palpable before she spoke, her words dripping with reluctance. "You are going to make alot of money if you are smart tomorrow and if you can join the next batch of strippers tomorrow..."

The words hung in the air like a challenge, Emma's mind reeling in horror. Her eyes widened as she stared at her mother, the machines surrounding her like sentinels. The word "strip" echoed in her mind like a mantra, her thoughts racing with the implications.

And without another word, Emma dropped the phone, her hand trembling as she backed away from the bed, her eyes fixed on her mother's frail form. The machines beeped on, a steady heartbeat that seemed to mock her desperation.

And then everything went black.

Chapter 2 The start II

"A stripper...." she said to herself

"What did you say?" Natalie asked.

"Nothing, nothing, thank you very much I am going to be at the club tomorrow night, I am staying with my mom just for tonight" she said

Natalie nodded even though Emma couldn't see her "Bye then" she said and ended the call.

ROBERT POV

I gazed at my cell phone, my eyes heavy with exhaustion from a long day of work. The screen vibrated, but I didn't bother to check it, too drained to care who texted. Ryan, my friend and confidant, peered over from the adjacent couch, his voice low and conspiratorial.

"Robert..."

I raised an eyebrow, my voice barely above a whisper. "Hmm? What is it?"

Ryan's expression was serious, his eyes locked onto mine. "Sophia."

My head snapped up, my gaze intensifying. "Sophia? What about her?"

Ryan gestured to my phone, a sly smile spreading across his face. I picked it up, my heart racing with anticipation. Five new text messages from Sophia. My smile grew wider as I scrolled through them.

"Hi Robert, it's been long... The kids want to see you... They don't want to stay with me anymore... They want their father, so I am hoping to bring them over tomorrow, the flight had been booked already, I just thought that I should inform you."

Ryan, adjusted in his chair, curiosity etched on his face. "What's going on?"

I was too happy to answer, so I handed him the phone. Ryan smirked, his eyes scanning the messages.

"So, she's tired of taking care of the kids, huh? You wanted them to be with you in the first place, but she insisted on taking them away. Is she tired now?".

"Whatever her reasons Ryan, I just want my children," I said, my voice firm. "Besides, we're divorced. She left me, so she doesn't have any right to come back to me again, she just has the title of: The mother of my kids, that's all."

Ryan nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Well, I hope so,That's not the same for her, Robert. I know women too well, and how they think. Trust me, her bringing the kids here is also related to coming back into your life."

I nodded, my mind racing with possibilities. I changed the topic, not wanting to dwell on Sophia's motives any longer.

"I'm exhausted today Ryan. Perhaps we can visit the club tomorrow after work?"

Ryan smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Sounds like a great plan for tomorrow."

As we talked, Sarah walked in, her stunning figure commanding attention. Her black short gown hugged her curves, and her Louboutin heels clicked on the floor as she approached me. Ryan's smirk grew wider.

"Here comes your baby girl," he said, standing up. "I'm going home. Text me once you get to work tomorrow".

With that, he left, leaving me alone with Sarah. Her eyes locked onto mine, a hint of mischief sparkling within them.

"Hey, Robert," she said, her voice husky. "Long day?"

I smiled, feeling my exhaustion melt away. "Just as usual."

Sarah's gaze drifted to the phone still clutched in my hand. "Sophia?"

I nodded, my expression serious. "She wants to bring the kids back to me."

Sarah's eyebrows shot up, her interest piqued. "That's unexpected and sudden. What do you think she wants?"

I shrugged, my mind still reeling from the news. "Maybe she's tired of being a single mom. She might be busy with work or perhaps the kids want me."

Sarah's expression turned thoughtful, her eyes narrowing. "Or maybe she's trying to get back into your life, Robert. You know how women can be."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her insight. "You think so?"

Sarah nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know so, since I am a woman. Women don't just give up easily, especially when it comes to men like you."

I smiled, feeling a surge of desire. "Men like me?"

Sarah's eyes locked onto mine, her gaze burning with intensity. "Yes, Robert. Men who have everything. Power, wealth, resources... You're a catch Robert, I still cant get over the fact that your wife left you."

I chuckled, pulling her close. "And what about you, Sarah? What do you want from me?"

Her lips brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine. "I want absolutely nothing from you, I just want your big cock all to myself, I came here tonight even when you didnt invite me" she said

"Horny?" He asked

"As always" she said and stumbled on the table, she pulled her gown up and widened her legs, Robert bit his lips, intrigued and excited.

"You came prepared for me" he said as he pulled down his trousers to his thigh

"I want you right now..." she said and gave herself all to Robert "All yours now.." she added while she was already naked.

Robert's breathing was slow "I love when you squat for me,can I get that tonight?" He asked

"Hit me harder and hit the right spot baby, do it non stop" she said her voice shaking as Robet began to hit her, his hands on her br**st, he began to squeeze them as he kept hitting her.

"Oh fuck..." Sarah said

"You can scream, I am the only one in this mansion.." he said as he continued to hit her non stop, his hard c**k coming in and out of Sarah's Vag**nal..

"Damnnn ... .oh my goodness, Robert.." she screamed and held Robert's hand which was placed on her br***t.

"Scream baby...I want that..." Robert said as he continued to hit Sarah, the table began to shake.

Sarah stood up from the table and suddenly went down to Robert's c**k, she glared at him, her eyes stunning and sexy, she held his c**k and began to suck them very slowly, Robert's leg shaked and a loud moan escaped his throat.

Sarah stopped and glared at Robert "Go down on me too, give me a head tonight" she said and laid on the table again, her legs open wide, Robert moved his head towards her waist slowly down to her clitoral hood and placed his tongue on her Vaginal . He stopped again and inserted his fingers into her, finding her sweet spot, he dipped his finger slowly into it and removes it back, she is dripping as Robert bends down before her, and his tongue dances across her skin, up her thigh, telling her not to move, and with that he stood up and dipped his C**k back into her Vag**nal, a loud moan escapes her throat.

"Are you ready? I am at the edge of releasing now, I am going to hit you harder now" he said his voice sending shivers down her spine.

"Yes please.." she said, her voice shaking.

Just as Robert's cums in her, he kissed her n**ples and picked up his cloths which were on the floor and turned his gaze back to her "Let's end this.. my children will be back tomorrow, I have your details with me, I am going to wire you lots of money" he said while Sarah sat on the table, her eyes widened in surprise and shock.

"Leave my mansion" he said his voice deep and firm

Chapter 3 The start III

Emma's eyes, red and swelled up from lack of sleep, fixed on the doctor as he delivered the devastating news. Her mind raced, trying to process the weight of his words. The machines surrounding her mother's frail body seemed to close in, their beeps and whirs a constant reminder of the ticking clock.

"Listen Doc. i truly understand and appreciate everything you have been doing for me but Please, Doctor, just give me today," Emma pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll bring the money tomorrow morning."

The doctor's expression softened, and he nodded. "Fine, but I must warn you, Emma, time is running out, I am doing everything I can because I know you don't have anywhere to run to but I hope you meet someone who will truly and genuinely help you."

As the doctor rushed out of the room, Emma's gaze followed him, her eyes locking onto the tall, imposing figure standing beside him. Robert, the man who the nurse rushed in because he arrived, heavens truly blesses some people.

With a deep breath, Emma stepped out of the ward room, closing the door behind her. The bright morning light hit her like a slap in the face, forcing her to squint. She wiped away tears, her eyes scanning the floor as she walked away from the hospital room.

Suddenly, a collision knocked her off balance. Papers scattered across the floor as a stranger apologised profusely. Emma's gaze remained fixed on the ground, her mind still reeling from the doctor's words. She handed the papers back to the stranger without looking up, her head covered with a face cap and she wore a black hoodie.

"Sorry, Miss..." he called out to her as she walked away, but Emma didn't flinch. Her hand dipped into the pocket of her hoodie, because that was what she needed at that time, to breathe and walked away.

As she walked, the hospital's corridors blurred together. Emma's thoughts swirled, desperate for a solution. She couldn't lose her mother, not now, not ever.

The sound of footsteps of the strangers walking echoed behind her, but Emma didn't turn back, nor look behind her. She walked pass the hospitals, the cafe and the libary, embracing the cool morning air like a lifeline.

With each step, Emma's determination grew. She would find a way to save her mother, no matter the cost. The city streets became a blur as she walked, her eyes fixed on some point in the distance, her heart heavy with the weight of her world.

As Emma stepped into their humble abode, the stark reality hit her like a ton of bricks. The empty space, devoid of even the most basic furnishings, seemed to mock her. She sank to the floor, surrounded by nothingness, and let out a despairing sigh, no chairs, no tables, no foods in the house only mat.

"How can we continue like this?" she whispered to herself, her voice cracking with emotion. "It's so unfair, how I wish my dad didn't die, how I wish that he was still alive by now." Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, and she didn't try to hold them back. They streamed down her face, hot and relentless, as she rocked back and forth.

Her breathing came in ragged gasps, her chest heaving with sobs. She wrapped her arms around herself, as if trying to hold together the shattered pieces of her life. Her eyes, red and puffy, seemed to burn with a fierce determination.

With a sudden, violent motion, Emma struck her chest with her fist. "I must succeed," she whispered, her voice hoarse from crying. "I have to do everything in my power to change our circumstances, even It costs me my dignity, I am ready to do it." She hit her chest again, as if trying to drum up the courage to face the challenges ahead.

As she cried, Emma's body shook, her shoulders trembling with each sob. Her hair, once neatly styled, now hung in tangled locks around her face. Her eyes, once bright and full of hope, now seemed dull and lifeless.

But even in the midst of such despair, a spark within Emma refused to be extinguished. She thought of her mother, lying in the hospital bed, and her determination grew. She would not give up. She would fight for a better life, no matter the cost.

With a newfound sense of resolve, Emma slowly got to her feet. She wiped her tears away, her eyes blazing with a fierce inner light. She took a deep breath, and then another, her shoulders squaring as she faced the empty room.

"I will do this," she whispered, her voice firm. "I must get the money and pay my mothers bill and after that, I must succeed and take risks, no matter what it takes." And with that, Emma began to pace, her mind racing with plans and schemes, her heart burning with a fierce determination to change their fate.

And with that she picked up her little phone and called Natalie.

Her eyes locked onto the phone as Natalie's voice filled the line. "Hey, girl, how's your mother doing?" Natalie asked, concern etched in her tone.

Emma nodded, despite knowing Natalie couldn't see her. "She's fine...i guess just for now,I am not sure about tonight but I left her alive at the hospital" Emma replied, her voice trembling. "But that's not why I called."

Natalie's curiosity was piqued. "Why did you call, then?"

Emma paused, wiping away tears with the back of her hand. Her eyes flashed with a mix of desperation and determination. "I'm in," she said, her voice low and resolute.

Natalie's confusion was palpable. "In what?"

Emma took a deep breath, the words tumbling out like a confession. "I'm going to join you girls...as a stripper."

The line went silent, as if the words had sucked the air out of the room. Emma's eyes gleamed with a fierce intensity, her jaw set in a firm line. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she unleashed this darker side of herself, willing to do whatever it took to save her mother.

Natalie's voice was barely above a whisper. "Emma, are you sure about this? You're Not the type to put on revealing clothes. Emma a lot of men will touch you and you can't be mad about it, a lot of men will hit you with money on your private parts which you are going to show to the public and you can't fight about it" she said

But Emma didn't respond, tears streamed down her face again as Natalie warned her. She simply ended the call, the phone slipping from her fingers like a lifeline cut loose. And then, like a storm unleashed, Emma's emotions erupted. She felt a primal scream building inside her, a raw, animalistic cry of desperation and fear. Her body began to shake, her fists clenched at her sides as she let out a strangled sob.

The room around her blurred, becoming a dark, swirling vortex of uncertainty. But Emma stood tall, her heart pounding in her chest like a drum. She knew she had crossed a line, embracing a shadowy part of herself to survive.

The question was, would she ever find her way back?
