Chapter 1 Wild Stranger

"Don't tell me that you are here sulking up when it's your bachelorette night? Darnell? She called but instead Darnell sighed, looking at her overactive sister.

"You and Joan clearly know this is not my kind of space. You even fixed the party in a bar, Marina. "What happened to hotels?" Darnell asked, with Marina rolling her eyes as if she was nagging.

"Darnell, this is the hotel booked for your wedding, and it's still a hotel," Marina added.

"Don't play mind games, Marina. We could have used one of the halls."

Darnell requested.

"The bar is fine and besides the hotel management offered this venue for free, so if you're worried about the price, then you shouldn't. "It's in the hotel," Marina added.

"Seriously right now?" "You want to pull that card with me," Darnell asked in between smiles.

"You know for your age, one would think you are evolutionary, but nope, you're too old school. Sometimes I wonder how you'd be able to bag Joan as your best friend. She is the exact opposite of you. It's a night to your big day, and you're concerned about a venue?"

Darnell sighed, rubbing her forehead. "Don't get started with me." "You know I am telling the truth." She managed to say, but she was grateful, regardless they'd still throw her a party.

"There's no birthday celebration without a birthday celebrant and the same applies to your bachelorette party." She added with finality in her voice, stretching out her hand to take Darnell's.

Darnell looked at her hand, then sighed. She might as well let this cup pass and do as Marina had instructed, taking her hands as Marina helped her up. She was more than excited to be called Mrs. Martinez and tomorrow would officially end her five-year relationship with Daren. So she had better make the most of this night and have all the fun as a single woman for the last time.

"I'll get you something to soothe you...you seem too upright." Marina walked over to the counter to get the drinks, handing them over to the ladies at the party. Darnell took a glass as she sipped it, dancing to the rhythm of their hails.

"You go girl!!!!!!" She heard Joan's voice from the background. It didn't take long for her to feel too tired. She was already weak from planning the wedding and all her activities were making her weaker.

She turned to Marina, "I give up.... I think it's best I sleep right now if I weren't able to make it to my wedding tomorrow."

Marina shot her a glare, "Are you serious right now? You want to go to sleep?"

Darnell nodded, Joan walked up to them.

"You should have known her by now.... She's not as. Bubbling as you are. Darnell, you can go to bed now. Marina and I would take care of things down here. "You need your beautiful sleep," Joan added, taking a small sip of her drink.

"Are you sure?" Darnell asked, taking up her cell phone as she ran her hands through her head. She was tired.

"Sure." "You should rest. "We don't want Daren to run when he sees your puffy eyes tomorrow," Joan teased further.

"Don't jinx it," Marina added, shaking her head at Joan before turning to Darnell,

"You have your card, right? " She asked, and Darnell nodded.

"I'll see you guys...have fun and thank you so much for this." Darnell pulled them into a small hug, with a peck on their cheeks, before taking the last sip of her drink.

"I'll be heading up now and please, don't get drunk and miss my wedding tomorrow, Joan specifically." Darnell said, pointing at Joan,

"I'll look after her," Marina says, with Darnell nodding in satisfaction.

"You two are the worst." Joan cursed under her breath and then walked away.

Darnell sighed, as she grabbed the entry card from her purse, heading up to her room. Getting out of the elevator, she felt immense weakness. Her vision was beginning to get blurry. She managed to stay up on her feet as she began counting the room numbers,

"122....123...124...125....126..? There you are." She opened the door, walking in to see a hazy figure of someone on the bed,

"Daren? "Is that you?" She staggered, as she held the couch for support,

"Oh gosh, I feel so weak. "What kind of drink was that?" She murmured as she held her head.

She felt someone carry her, placing her on the bed, her eyes fluttering open. She couldn't decipher who that was, but her sixth sense told her it was her husband to be. She burst into laughter.

"You couldn't wait, could you? ......" Her voice trailed," It's abominable for the gr...oom....tooo...seee."

He placed his hand on her lips, "Shhhhhhh...." Then shook his head, staring at her body lustfully, "I just missed you. "I can't wait till tomorrow." He then placed his lips on her, setting her body on fire. For some reason, she felt an outburst of emotions and the urge stronger.

Normally, she would have pushed him away, but she instead reciprocated the kiss. Whatever that was in her, was pushing her to down the worst. On the second shift, she wrapped her arms around him, sitting her. She deepened the kiss, she couldn't wait,

He helped her up, still kissing her. Sher hand immediately traveled to his belt, trying to unbuckle it when he stopped her,

"No, no, no......too fast." he moaned, as he kissed her neck down to her shoulder, then with his eyes locked in hers,

"This is how it's done." And with one stretch, he tore her satin gown into shreds, leaving her with just her undergarments, picking her up as she tossed her to the bed.

"I'm good to make crazy love with you tonight." And that was the last sensible word she heard with the clouds groaning, announcing its downpour.

Chapter 2 Mistaken Romance

She watched him with a mix of anticipation and desire as he peeled the clothes off her, revealing soft curves. The sight of her naked beneath him sent a jolt of heat through him as he felt his heart pound in his chest.

"You're beautiful," he whispered, thick with emotion as he leaned down to kiss her again.

She answered in a frenzy, her hands roaming his back as he pressed her into the mattress, his body covering hers. His skin on hers was electric; she found herself melting into him, her body responding to his every touch.

His hands moved lower, a reverent exploration of her body that had her shivering. He kissed his way down her neck, his lips trailing over her collarbone to her breasts, where he took one hardened nipple into his mouth and sucked gently.

She gasped; the sensation was like a jolt of pleasure right through her. "Daren," she moaned, her voice caught between desperation and desire.

He looked up at her, his eyes dark with lust. "Tell me what you want," he said, his voice low, the growl of command unmistakable.

"I want you," she said, her voice shaking with need. "Inside me."

She felt him go between her legs now, his hardness pressed against her entrance, and with a swift motion, he was inside her, filling her completely. It was an overwhelming sensation, and she cried out, her nails digging into his back as he began to move.

Their bodies assumed a rhythm unplaced-animal-like, the sound of breathing and moans escaping their lips. His thrusts were deep and hard, waves of pleasure coursing through her with each one. She felt herself spiral closer and closer to the edge, tension coiling tighter with every movement.

"I'm so close," she gasped, her voice cracking with the fervor of her need.

"Let go of me," he was saying, breathless as his jabs came quicker and quicker, moving their bodies together in perfect harmony.

With one final thrust, the world exploded into a kaleidoscope of pleasure, and she cried out, her cry echoing off the walls as wave after wave of ecstasy crashed over her. When he finally released her inside, she went further into bliss, completely relinquishing all control at that moment.

The afterglow of their maiden encounter was wearing off; the air was thick with unsaid promises and lingering desire. He remained staring into hers, a predatory glint in his gaze that sent shivers down her spine.

"You're not done with me yet, are you?" she asked, her voice low and sultry.

"Not even close," he said, his voice low and husky with a growl that sent a thrill coursing through her.

He flipped her onto her stomach, he grabbed her hips, and came up behind her. The new position hitting her suddenly jolted through her body as juices flowed with anticipation.

He entered her from behind, his thrusts deep and powerful, sending waves of pleasure coursing through her with each stroke. The feeling of him so completely filling her up was too much to bear, and she cried out when he began to move, her nails digging into the sheets.

"Damn, you feel amazing," he groaned, his voice thick with desire as he picked up the pace, his thrusts becoming more forceful.

She could feel the tension coiling tighter inside her, the heat building to a blaze. "Daren, I'm so close," she exclaimed aloud, her voice breaking from the intensity of her need.

"Let go of me," he growled low, commanding, his voice seeming to vibrate through her body as he dove deeper, his hands grasping her hips tighter.

The room was filled with the heavy breathing and soft rustling of the sheets as they both came down from high. The well-built man collapsed beside her, panting for breath, their slick-with-sweat bodies together.

"Wow," she whispered, a satisfied smile on her lips. "That was incredible."

He smiled, his face glistening with a wet strand of hair falling across it. "And we've still got more time to explore," he said with a promise in his tone.

Lying wrapped in each other's arms, the outside world was lost. It was a moment of thrill, delicious tension promising even more adventures.

But the continued silence between them made him acknowledge something that caused a heart to skip in his chest. He looked down at the sheets, his eyes wide with incredulity at the small telltale signs of her virginity. His breath caught in his throat as he turned to stare at her, a mask of shock and incredulity.

"You. "Are you a virgin?" he breathed.

Her gaze lifted to his, its brown depths half-vulnerable, half-defiant. "Yes," she said stoutly.

"I wanted it to be with you."

Guilt, pride, the deep sense of responsibility overwhelmed him like a rush. Reaching out, his hand slightly trembling, he cupped her face as he grabbed,

"Why didn't you tell me?" But then she fell asleep.

He stood up instantly, grabbing his phone as he dialed a number. At the third ring, his assistant picked up the phone,

"What's the meaning of this, Louis? Why would you send over a virgin? "You know how much I hate being with virgins." His voice deepened in contempt.

" What Virgin, Sir? I've been trying to reach out to you. The lady angrily left this morning. She said you never showed up to the room. "Well, I've settled her but...." Louis said in frustration from the other side of the phone.

"What do you mean? I'm with her right now. What are you talking about? Who's this lady here with me?"

"You slept with another lady!!??" Louis asked, almost in a shout.

"Room 126, right?" He stood up, checking the card only to see 129.

Dang it!

He was in the wrong room and made love with the wrong woman. She looked so peaceful, what had he done? He stood up abruptly, briefly wore his clothes and then stepped out.

"I'll be back for you." And with that he left, the sound of the door in a quiet bolt as Darnell tossed to the other side of the bed, resuming her sleep, unaware of the worst that had just happened.

Chapter 3 Crazy Aftermath

It was the morning of her wedding. She tossed it onto the other side of the bed. It was empty. Was she dreaming last night or was there an actual intimacy? She lay there sprawled on the bed, feeling extra lazy to stand up. Just then, it occurred to her that it was the 22nd of October and that was her wedding day.

She sprang up immediately, like one being stung by a bee, her eyes searching the room, it was empty. Why wasn't anyone here already? Her phone began to beep, it was Joan. She instantly picked up the call.

"Darnell? Can you open the door? "We've been out here for a while now," Joan replied in frustration.

"What? "Hold on, I'm coming..." the phone fell off her head as she looked under her duvet. She was naked. How the hell is she naked? What happened last night?

Her mind then casts back to the intense love making between her and Daren.

Was it Daren?

Her eyes blistered in tears, her world was crumbling done, but there was no way she would have thought she had a nightstand on the day of her wedding. What was going on? How was she going to explain this to Daren?

The knock interrupted her, with Joan's voice from outside

.

"Darnell??" She got up, heading to the door as she opened it.

"Finally.... "I thought you had died or something." Joan noticed the redness in her eyes, then turned to the make-up artist.

"You can go in and set up. "We'll be with you shortly." The make-up artist nodded, then walked inside as Joan's gaze moved to Darnell.

"What's wrong? "You look like you've seen a ghost."

Darnell broke down in tears. "The worst has happened, Joan."

The smirk of unseriousness instantly wiped from Joan's face as she sensed how intense the situation was.

"What? Why?"

"I slept with someone that's not Daren." She broke the horrible news.

"Wait what!?" Then proceeded to bust into laughter. "Tell me this is one of your jokes?" Joan resorted her eyes leased in confusion.

"It's not Joan....my whole life is a mess...I can't deal with this. "How do I look Daren in the eye?" She began. Joan stared at her in utter awe, not knowing what to say or do.

"Take a deep breath, you have to attend your wedding. And we'll deal with this situation later."

Darnell glared at her, "What wedding? I couldn't go to the altar knowing I had cheated on Daren. "It would kill me," she began, her face twisted in fear and frustration.

"So what do you want? Be the runaway bride? "We did not know this man you had a one-night stand with and here you are on the verge of getting married to the sweetest man on earth, and you want to chicken out." Joan resorted, and she stepped in, shutting the door as she walked up to the makeup artist who's being setting up.

"You can glam her up now." They turned to Darnell, "A wedding can't wait, but an explanation can." She stated. Darnell was unsure, but thinking about it, Daren would never know if she didn't tell him.

***

Standing at the entrance of the church, Darnell stood behind the veil as she took a deep breath. This was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, but her innocence was gone to a total stranger.

The music began playing like a thousand years ago by Christina Perri. She walked down the aisle with her stepmother and father, who handed her one to Daren, whose grins were still wildly open.

Darnell turned to Joan, who tried to calm her down. Marina noticed the tension before asking

"What with Darnell? She doesn't look happy."

"She's just a little bit under the emotions," Joan added in her defense.

Marina frowned, then adjusted herself to the seat as she turned to Darnell and Daren.

Do you take Daren Cobbler to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and cherish for the rest of your lives, in sickness and in health? "Say I do." Darnell heard the priest say. It felt like her words chocked on her, but she couldn't decipher what to do, her eyes mustered in tears as she stood frozen in time.

Then began the murmuring from the guest as they wondered if she wasn't as excited as any bride could be.

"I..." just as she was out to sign a done deal, gunshots were heard from the congregation.

"Bang!"

Fear crept into Darnell's face as she fell in hiding with Daren.

"You are not thinking of getting married to another man after our fun last night, are you?" She heard a voice which sounded so familiar to her. Darnell lifted her face to meet the stern glance of Elvis De Luca.

"What the hell is going on?" Marina asked, confusingly. Daren turned to Darnell,

"What is he talking about? "What night?" he asked, with his face laced in confusion.

Darnell couldn't talk, it was the end of the road for her. She knew she couldn't run away from this strange man, but the love of her life was staring at her in disbelief.

"I cheated..... Daren" she blurred out, Everyone gasped as she broke down in tears. "Believe me, Daren, I was drunk and didn't know what happened or how it happened.... I just couldn't get down with the ...."

Before she would complete her sentence, her mother stepped right in, slamming her hand across Darnell's face,

"You are a disgrace to this family." Her face, which never beheld a smile, frowned more,

"Mom!" Marina stepped in to defend Darnell. "Why would you do that to her?"

Darnell stood there with her eyes clouded in tears. She stared at her own mother, who never seemed to like anything that had to do with her. Maybe she deserved this.

"You cheated on me? "After everything?" Daren's voice broke, Elvis stared at Daren, then broke into a smirk.

"Not here for a family drama, but I am here to take my wife home," Elvis stated. Darnell threw him a death glare,

"He did not just say that?' she cursed in her mind, clenching her gown. If only she could slap him right now, she would.

She was the prestigious daughter of the Estrella family. Her mother was not the kind of mother anyone would love to have, but she was grateful she raised her even after their father who loved her the most died. Getting married to Daren was a way of escape for her, but she soiled this with her own actions.

"Get out of my sight. "I don't have a daughter named Darnell anymore. "She passed away on this day." Her mother spat out as she turned and walked away. Daren stared at her.

"Babe.... "I'm sorry" she managed to say, but he turned and left the altar. Everyone began to whisper. Marina approached her.

"Sis, I'm going to see how I can talk to mom. "Just hold on" she said as she rushed out of the church, chasing after her mother,

"Well, that was a lot. "Here." Elvis tossed her a file. "There is everything you need to know, I'll come pick you up in three days' time," the mysterious man stated, and then walked out of the church auditorium.

"Tell me this is all but a dream, Joan?" She asked, trying to get up when she suddenly collapsed to the ground,

"Darnell!!!!"
