The woman had just finished her painting after spending the past week making it, and she got up from her seat with the painting to display in her mini gallery. After installing the painting, the woman whose full name was Belmira Glaucia looked at the painting of a 15-year-old boy who was smiling beautifully.
"I will definitely find you, I hope you don't forget me." Belmira said with teary eyes.
In a room measuring 20 square meters, Belmira made a special room for the paintings she has been working on so far, her hobby in painting has produced many beautiful works and is in demand by painting collectors. Most of her paintings are of smiling boys, which she named Sunshine smile.
Many collectors are very fond of her sunshine smile work, even though they don't know the intention of Belmira to continue painting it and what inspired the woman to make the painting of the boy. Some people think that the boy is Belmira's younger brother and there are some who think he is Belmira's first love, until now the woman has not told everyone who the boy is.
"Bell." Someone's call made the woman turn her head and immediately leave the room.
Belmira stepped into the dining room where one of her best friends was currently visiting, since they were already very close it was no wonder that Belmira's best friend immediately entered without knocking on her door first.
Lily and Belmira had been friends since they were in high school and separated in college after deciding to choose their dream campuses, Belmira chose to major in fine arts while Lily chose communication design. After their graduation, the two were reunited in the same field where Lily currently works as an art director at a leading company in Barcelona while Belmira is an illustrator.
Belmira's work will be posted on her personal blog, thanks to her collaboration with Lily, she has become what she is today. And Lily is also one of the people closest to her who knows who the boy in the painting is.
"What are you carrying?" Asked Belmira looking at the contents of the food package brought by her best friend named Lily.
"More tortillas."
"So what, you're not grateful that I made this food for you?" Lily said with a sarcastic look.
"Hehe that's not it, almost every day you bring tortillas to my house I get tired of eating them." Belmira replied with a wry smile.
"Don't eat them." Lily reached for her snack but Belmira snatched it back with a light laugh and promised to finish it.
"Oh yeah Bell, I heard from Gabriel."
"Information about him?" Belmira said enthusiastically.
"Of course not."
"Then what kind of information?"
"Gabriel told me that an art gallery in Madrid is currently in need of an illustrator, the salary is very high and after they saw your paintings on the blog they seem to be interested in you." Lily continued looking very excited.
"I don't want to." Belmira put her teacup on the table and walked away from Lily.
"Bel, this is a golden opportunity for you." Said Lily who did not want to give up.
"I told you before, I will never leave this town." she replied curtly.
"Because of that guy you don't want your future to materialize?"
Belmira stopped her steps and turned her body to look at her best friend Lily, Belmira took a deep breath before answering her.
"Nothing is more important than finding him, becoming an illustrator is just one of my wishes that can be realized because of him, so don't force me to leave this city again."

Triiing~
The bell rang, a customer walked into the cafe, making pairs of eyes reflexively stare at her. Curious whether or not it was already the path of human impulses that could connect its receptors and effectors.
"It's not like she's Belmira Glaucia." The visitor exclaimed when he saw Belmira enter the cafe.
"That famous painter? The one who made the mysterious painting?"
"Yes, she is very beautiful in person."
Belmira stopped her steps right in front of a barista who was guarding, she looked at the menu booths there then her choice fell on Ice blend capucino. The barista asked Belmira to wait while he was made and he was given a device that would sound when her order was finished, so Belmira chose to sit in a chair close to the cashier's desk.
"Excuse me, are you Belmira Glaucia?" Someone suddenly approached her and made Belmira nod slowly.
"I'm your fan, can I get your autograph?"
"Of course."
After Belmira gave her autograph the order was finished, she immediately left the cafe because everyone there seemed excited by her presence and did not want to make the cafe atmosphere chaotic.
Arriving at a city park, the 27-year-old woman plopped down on a park bench and sipped her capuccino ice blend slowly. Her cell phone had just rung indicating an incoming message, Belmira's hand immediately reached into her bag and glanced at the message that had just entered.
"Can you come to my place now?" -Gabriel-
Without waiting for a long time, Belmira immediately left the park and stopped a taxi to immediately go to her friend Gabriel's place, this time Belmira looked so excited because if Gabriel contacted her it meant she got a clue about the boy in her painting.
**
"Gabriel, did you find a clue?" Belmira said when she reached Gabriel's place.
"Bell, someone bought your painting for a very high price." Gabriel exclaimed while showing his computer screen which showed that someone had just bought his painting.
"So you called me here just for this?"
"About that, I apologize for not being able to find information about the boy." Gabriel's reply instantly made Belmira's expression turn sad.
Belmira sat on the sofa with a grunt of annoyance. Meanwhile Gabriel who worked as the marketing team for Belmira's paintings, checked his computer screen again.
"It might be very difficult for us to find the boy with the painting 12 years ago, we don't know what he looks like now and he might not remember you anymore." Gabriel said suddenly.
"No way, even with only 6 months with him I'm sure he won't forget me."
"Bell, look this guy wants this boy's painting." Gabriel's sudden pointing made the curious Belmira look at it immediately.
Gabriel showed the profile of the collector who had just ordered the painting, when seeing his profile picture Belmira only glanced once and returned to her seat.
"Don't you think about this collector who wants your painting?" Gabriel asked glancing at her.
"Tell him it's out of stock."
"Don't you have many in your house?"
"I'm not selling it, even if he pays a lot of money I won't sell it."
"That's a pity, he would have paid a lot for that boy's painting."
"Where is that guy from?"
"He has an address in Madrid, it's out of town."
"Madrid." Belmira said while thinking about something.
The woman opened her laptop screen to find out her progress in finding the boy in the painting, apart from the help of Gabriel and Lily of course Belmira asked for help from people on social media.
The way Belmira looked for him was not frontally by telling everyone to find him, but Belmira used social media by writing a message with a photo of the painting where she invited people who read it to be interested and if they saw the characteristics of the painting someone would give her a clue.
-Unknown-
(I know who he is.)
A message just arrived on Belmira's facebook account, she immediately replayed the message without waiting long.
(Can I know more?)
(I know the boy in the painting, he lives in Madrid now, I don't know what relationship you have with him but I suggest you stop looking for him.)
(Why?)
There was no reply after that, even Belmira's message was not read by the person who was either male or female.
(You live in Madrid too? Can we meet asap, please this is very important to me.)
Still no reply, it made Belmira very curious and she grabbed her cell phone to call someone.
"Hello Bell, what's up?" Said a woman on the other side.
"I agree with the gallery owner's offer." Belmira replied instantly making Lily who heard her cheer.
"Hello Bell, it's me Gabriel, are you sure you want to go to Madrid?" Said Gabriel who was no less enthusiastic.
"Yes, I'm going."
"What about the man who ordered the painting? Do you want to agree to it?"
Belmira thought for a moment, she felt that the person who ordered the boy's painting had something to do with the person who told her in the message just now. The woman immediately agreed and made Gabriel immediately contact that person so that he could discuss it with Belmira directly.
**
Belmira arrived at Barajas International Airport in Madrid, the capital of Spain, which is the first largest city and for the first time she left Barcelona to find out about the boy, all this time Belmira's search was only in the city of Barcelona so she never expected to arrive in the city.
Because Belmira's arrival at that time was an invitation from the owner of The Prado Museum art gallery so she was picked up by the person at the airport, the distance between the airport and Belmira's residence later was about an hour so she used her time to find out about the city.
"Excuse me, do you know a man named Ruan Wellington?" Belmira asked the man who picked her up at the airport.
"Is he someone famous? I think I just heard that name." He replied and then refocused on driving.
"He's just an ordinary person, thanks for the answer."
Upon arrival at the apartment where Belmira would be spending her time during her tenure at the Art gallery, the apartment had prepared a special room for her and it was all by order of Madam Audry, the owner of The Prado Museum.
Belmira was allocated a room on the 30th floor of the apartment where she could enjoy a panoramic view of the sea and the city of Madrid. After storing her belongings and looking around the apartment, Belmira had to rush to meet Madam Audry at the gallery where she would be working.
**
Upon arrival at The Prado museum, Belmira was warmly welcomed by the owner and they proceeded to Madam Audry's room where she served her a Madrid specialty.
"I am very grateful that you accepted my offer to work with Miss Belmira." Said the middle-aged woman looking very happy.
"I also thank you very much for choosing me as an illustrator for your art gallery." Belmira replied politely.
"Roberto, please give our contract sheet to Miss Belmira." Maadam Audry instructed her assistant.
"Yes madam." He replied quietly and immediately gave the contract sheet to Belmira to sign.
In the contract rules contained in the sheet of paper, Belmira must make paintings that attract collectors for the next two years, because Belmira's work is very promising the gallery does not have a problem with it. Belmira's most important goal in coming to Madrid was to find the Wellington, so within two years of his contract, she hoped to meet Ruan in the city.
"Here you go, I've signed it." Belmira handed the contract to madam Audry's assistant.
After signing the contract, they continued to enjoy the menu that had been served by a five-star chef. Madam Audry's friendly demeanor made Belmira feel comfortable, she was sure that working with this woman was the right decision.
**
The cold night of Belmira's first day in Madrid, she looked up at the night sky filled with stars that shone beautifully in the night sky. As usual to get a clue about Ruan, she once again contacted the person who had forbidden her to look for Ruan.
(Hello, it's me Belmira Glaucia, sorry to bother you, do you have a moment?)
(I'm already in Madrid, and really hope to meet you soon.)
(Please do me a favor, just this once.)
Belmira sent so many messages, even when she was still in Barcelona she kept sending messages to that person. Unfortunately there was not a single reply after that person gave a warning to stop looking for Ruan.
Triingg...
Belmira immediately opened the contents of the message where the person had now just replied to her message, where the message read about the same warning as before.
(Stop looking for him, he's very dangerous now and people like you will only be dirt to him.)
Belmira really didn't understand the meaning of that person giving her a warning, what was the reason that made that person tell her to stop looking for Ruan. All of that seemed to float in Belmira's head, she wanted to know more but unfortunately the person again ignored his message.
**
The next morning, around 9:00 am Berlmira left the hotel to start her inspiration for painting. While looking for inspiration, she also sought information about Ruan from several people she met on the street or where she stayed for a while.
Belmira saw a teahouse not far from where she lived, because she was thirsty she visited the place. Belmira took a place outside the teahouse to enjoy the fresh air, not long after that the waiter came with a list of available menus.
In the teahouse that has a large enough area that provides various types of tea, even though it is called a teahouse does not mean they do not provide other menus such as desser and so on.
"I'll have the citrus tea and butter cake." Belmira said and after the waiter recorded her order she had to wait a while for her order to be made.
As usual, the laptop was back on and Belmira began to search for information about Ruan and did not forget to send a message to the person who warned her last night.
"This person is my only clue to meet you soon." Belmira said while looking at her conversation column with that person.
Not long after, Belmira's order was ready, and the one who delivered her order was not the female waitress from earlier but a handsome man who made Belmira make eye contact with the man briefly.
"Please enjoy." The man said kindly.
"Thank you." Belmira replied softly.
"Ruaaaaaan." Someone's cheer made Belmira stop the tea cup she was ready to drink when she heard the sound just now.
Belmira's gaze fell on a woman who had just gotten off her motorcycle and approached the male servant who had just served Belmira just now, Belmira was very sure of what she heard just now that the woman called the man by the name Ruan.
"What is it again?" Asked the male waiter sarcastically.
"Hehe, I miss you, and I'd like to stop by for a cup of tea." Belmira's gaze continued to be fixed
the two of them, Belmira hoped she could convince what she had just heard from the woman.
Unfortunately the two of them went straight into the shop and Belmira could only watch them through the translucent glass of the shop where they seemed to be very close to each other.
"That man can't be Ruan, but if he really is Ruan then it means that my struggle in searching for him in this city didn't end in vain."
Almost every day Belmira visited the tavern to prove whether or not the man yesterday was Ruan, after the past few days Belmira tried to watch the man closely while clearly remembering the boy twelve years ago who had changed her life to what it is today.
"This is frustrating, should I ask him directly?" Belmira's mind could only watch the man from her seat.
A waitress had just passed by and made Belmira pull her to talk, secretly Belmira began to ask the waitress about the man's figure and at first glance the woman who was the waitress looked at Belmira with a strange smile.
"He's the owner of this shop, handsome isn't he? His name is Senor (Mr.) Ruan Wellington." The waitress's reply succeeded in making Belmira surprised.
"So it's really you, finally after twelve years I managed to find you." Belmira thought with teary eyes.
"Miss, are you alright?" Asked the waitress confused by Belmira's sudden tears.
After knowing the identity of the shop owner, Belmira did not want to reprimand Ruan and chose to let the man remember her first. Belmira understood that Ruan might not recognize her right now because they had been separated for a long time and the changes between them were very different.
Ruan who is currently seen by Belmira is very different, in the past Ruan always wore glasses and his hair was very neatly arranged as well as his cheerful attitude at all times. Of all that only Ruan's cheerful attitude is still visible today, the man is very friendly to other visitors even though his current position is the owner of the teahouse.
**
The shop was almost closed that afternoon, when Ruan was cleaning around the shop he accidentally found a picture on the table that made him curious and immediately glanced at it.
A picture of a man serving someone with a bright smile was drawn very well on the small paper, when Ruan turned the paper over he found a note that read.
"I finally found you, do you still remember a rabbit that can fly? That time you told it as if the rabbit could really fly. Please remember me quickly, I'm always waiting for you."
The handwriting on the picture clearly referred to him, from the picture Ruan looked confused even so he did not throw away the picture and kept it in his pocket. From a distance, there was a figure of Belmira who was watching him with a smile, seeing Ruan who finally accepted the picture made her feel relieved.
"I hope you will remember me tomorrow."
**
Unfortunately the next day Belmira could not visit Ruan's teahouse because the exhibition schedule had already been set and she had to start painting, in her apartment room various painting supplies were already available and just waiting for Belmira who was ready to make it.
"Looks like I have an idea this time, thanks to you I can continue painting again." Belmira said while staring at the empty painting media in front of her.
From morning to evening Belmira spent only painting, she wanted this painting to be finished in a short time so that she could return to the tavern and meet with Ruan. She was sure this time Ruan would recognize her after what she did yesterday.
Ting nung...ting nung...
The sound of the bell just made Belmira stop her hand from painting, she didn't want to call someone to her place even though she had previously told Madam Audry that while painting she didn't want someone to come to disturb her.
Because the sound of the bell continued to ring finally Belmira got up and immediately opened the door to her apartment, when the door opened she was very surprised because what was in front of her at this time was Ruan.
"Excuse me, is this really Miss Glaucia's room?" The man's outburst made Belmira instantly realize.
"Right, that's me."
"Someone from The Prado just ordered a package of tea and snacks for you, please accept." Ruan handed the order on behalf of Belmira to the woman and she received it with an incredulous look.
"Excuse me." he continued as he moved away from Belmira's presence.
"Doesn't he know me?" she thought sadly.
"Wait." Preventing Belmira managed to stop him steps.
"Yes, what's wrong?"
"Don't you recognize me?" Belmira asked hopefully.
"Sorry, I don't know you but I know that you always come to our shop for tea." That was the answer that came out of Ruan's mouth.
Belmira felt there was something strange about Ruan, if it was true that she was the Ruan she knew twelve years ago there was no way she didn't remember her last name, Glaucia. Has time really managed to make him forget, or was she not an important person back then so that now only Belmira remembers all the memories.
" Nothing, sorry for take your time. "
" It's okay, than i'm living now. "
**
Once again, Belmira revisits Ruan's tea shop, but unfortunately, today the owner is not present due to some business. Belmira then calls one of the waitresses and invites her to chat for a while. Since the cafe is quiet, the waitress agrees.
"Hi, I'm Belmira Glaucia."
"I'm Maria."
"So, here's the thing I need your help. The owner of this shop looks a lot like my childhood friend, but when I met him, he didn't recognize me. I'm pretty sure his name is Ruan Wellington. Can you provide me with any information about him?"
"I'm not unwilling, but I really don't know much about Ruan."
"Don't worry, though. I know someone who knows him well."
"Really? Who is it?"
"He's been Ruan's friend since childhood, and they also live in the same apartment. Actually, Ruan's friend is my friend too, but I'm not that close to Ruan."
"I'd like to meet your friend."
"But you'll have to wait until I finish work, probably around 5:00 in the evening."
"I'll wait."
"Alright, I'll get back to work. Enjoy your time."
