The Bad Boy Likes Me

Kasey POV:

I woke up in a good mood which was weird since I am never a morning person. I looked over to my alarm clock and saw it was 6:00AM.

I was also up an hour early.

I decided to waste time to take a shower, so I stood up and smiled at my reflection.

A lot of girls aren't happy with how they look nowadays and I never used to, but I tried and tried until I was finally happy.

I was what people would class as 'pretty'.

I had long, light brown hair and bright blue eyes with clear skin, but If you were to look close enough, you would see the faded freckles I had.

I walked in to my bathroom and I quickly undressed before getting in the shower. The holidays have just ended so today is the first day of school. Every one hates Monday's but Monday is the only day I have lessons that I enjoy.

I let the warm water relax my muscles and I used my strawberry scented shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and within 10 minutes I was out. I felt much more refreshed and that's how I liked it.

My mother came in my room

"Kasey?" She says In her chirpy voice. How can someone be that happy in the morning? I guess I'm not a morning person like her.

"Yeah?" I say drying myself.

"Your breakfast would be done in 5" she says and i could hear the smile from her voice. I hear her footsteps start to get quieter telling me she has gone back downstairs.

I unlocked the bathroom door and walked into my room in just a towel. I then locked my bedroom door and looked in my wardrobe. I had so many clothes to choose from but In the end I ended up choosing a tight pair of black jeans and a tight fitted off the shoulder purple top. I then dried my hair and put it in a messy bun and went downstairs to my mother.

"Good morning" I say kissing her on the cheek.

"Morning" she says happily. I loved my mother. She is the kind that would let me sleep out, party and have boyfriends but she would still care and be involved in my life.

"Here you go" she says giving me a stack of pancakes with Nutella on them with some strawberries on the side.

"Thank you" I say straight away started eating.

After 5 minutes I was done.

"Honey, work called, I need to go in it is an emergency. Bye love you" she says before slamming the door.

"Love you too" I mumble to no one in particular.

I go upstairs and brush my teeth before straightening my hair before applying a little bit of makeup. I put on some eyeliner making my blue eyes pop and red lipstick. I added a little mascara because my eye lashes were really long anyway before grabbing my phone from my night stand and putting my back pack on. I then put on my black doc martens and left.

I got to school 10 minutes later. I can drive but i liked walking.

I head to my locker and I see 2 of my best friends, Damon and Rylie.

Rylie has green sparkling eyes and blonde hair which is naturally curly. She is gorgeous and one of the most caring and funniest person you could ever meet.

Then you had Damon.

Damon had brown eyes with golden specks in them and a caramel brown coloured hair. He was very very good looking. He was the shy one, if you didn't know him, but if you did, he was goofy.

We all weren't nerds but we weren't popular. We just tried to get through school as a normal teenagers.

"Hey guys" I say smiling. They both hug me and I smile. I love my best friends.

"Have you heard? Have you heard?" Rylie squealed jumping up and down on the spot and Damon and I laughed at her eagerness.

"Heard what?" I laugh as she continues to jump up and down.

"2 things, first thing is there is a singing contest and you should totally enter. You sing like an angel" she babbled and I cut her off.

"I will think about it" I say knowing she would keep on it until I said yes.

"And... I kinda, maybe have got a boyfriend" she says blushing and I look at her.

My jaw dropped.

"Woah. What? You got a boyfriend. Who is he? Does he go to this school? I need to meet him to have some words with him" I say and Rylie puts her hand over my mouth, giggling at me.

"His name is Sam. Yeah he goes to our school and no you can't meet him because he isn't here yet" she says and I laugh.

"Okay not yet then" I say to her and she giggled.

Then it is silent. 5 boys walk in.

Jesse, Parker, Sam, Cody and Mason. They were known as the "badboys" of the school but I only knew their names, not which one was which.

Boys wanted to be them, or be friends and girls wanted to be with them, well apart from me.

One of the "badboys" looked at Rylie and gave her a small smile. I'm guessing that's him.

"Is it him?" I say quite loudly getting the attention from the boys and people around us.

She blushed and nods. I look back over and see he is looking at her with a mixture of awe and adoration. Girls were looking his way but he paid no attention, instead he was staring at my bestfriend. That's so cute.

I felt someone staring at me and I turned to see Casandra. The bitchest bitch of them all. I laugh at the thought and people have me weird looks which ended at me smiling at them.

Right now we had all attention on us, even the "badboys" were watching.

"I've Just gotten back from an amazing holiday and now I've got to deal with you" she says flipping her hair and batting her eyelashes at the badboys. She did this really really annoying thing where she emphasised on some words.

I snicker and she glared at me.

We had all the attention on us right now but I could care less.

"I'm so glad I got away from you" she says in her annoying, preppy voice.

"Bitch you are glad?" I question

" I was over the moon" I say and she glared at me through her thick, clumpy lashes.

She had long dyed blond hair and blue eyes. She has makeup caked on her face and I think without it, she may have looked pretty.

She was known as the school slut. She slept with anything that had a pulse and she loved to hate me.

"Gosh, I really missed your fat bitchy mouth" she spat and I heard oohs. I raise a brow and smirk at her, a comeback already thought of.

"And I bet all the boys missed yours" I say and I hear some boys burst out laughing. I turned only to see the "badboys" laughing at me. Some girls were glaring at me and some were laughing.

"You're a bitch" she spat, her face red from the anger i caused.

I shrugged.

" I know" I say and she tutted and flipped her hair before walking away.

The bell rings and every one started going to class.

"That was really funny" says one of the "badboys".

"I know" I shrug and he comes by my side.

"Who are you?" He asks and his friends pitch in saying 'yeah' or 'what's your name?'

"Could ask you the same question" I say and they shrug.

"I'm Jesse " the guy next to me says and he was the definition of a Greek God. Black hair, tanned, gorgeous eyes-snap out of it Kasey. I think as I know he just wants to get in my pants.

"That's Parker, Cody, Mason and Sam" he says and I nod.

Parker had brown hair and grey eyes. He seemed like the more quiet one and the cuter one of the group.

"Sam? Rylie"s boyfriend right?"I ask, looking at him. His cheeks turn pink and he nods shyly.

"Kasey." I say and he nods.

I knew their names I just didn't know who was who as I have never personally talked to them.

The second bells rings declaring i'm late to class. Rylie and Damon have disappeared and I look at my timetable.

Maths... urghh. The only bad lesson of the day.

"Bye guys. I got to go" I say and they shrug and walk next to me.

"What have you got?" Cody asked curiously and I shrug.

"Maths" I say and he nods.

"With Miss Jaxon?" He asked and i nodded.

"Great you are in the same class, walk with all with us" he says and I nod.

"That teacher really don't like me" I groan but I was being honest. The guys chuckled at me.

Kasey POV:

I walk into Miss Jaxon's class and she glares at me. Her eyes narrow into slits at me and I'm sure she doesn't even notice the boys behind me.

"Nice for you to show up Kasey" she sneers at me and I nod.

"Yep it just got a whole lot better" I mumble under my breath and the boys begin to chuckle at me.

"What was that?" She says in a squeaky voice. Ugh that hurt my head.

"I just made it a whole lot better" I say and she glared. The class burst out laughing and I gave her a smile.

"No, you never" she says and I shrug.

"I would say I'm offended but I couldn't care at all" I say and sat down at the back of the class. I couldn't be bothered today and she is always like this.

"You're funny" this cute guy says and I smile.

He had blond hair and hazel eyes, looked kind of familiar.

"thanks" I say sitting down.

"How are you?" The cute guy asks and i shrug.

"I'm good before i came in here thanks you?" I say putting my head on my arm.

"I'm good, you are really nice" he says with a smile.

"Thanks and you" I say turning my attention back to the teacher. Even if I didn't like her and vice versa, I still had to graduate.

I then rested my head on the desk when I felt a throbbing pain in my head. I always got bad migraines, usually caused by stress. The light was hurting my eyes and Miss Jaxon's voice was ringing in my ears.

The teacher stopped at looked at me.

"Kasey" she begins "Are you here to learn?" She asks loudly. I decided that maybe I can get myself into detention and then my migraine might not be as bad.

"I'm here because it's the law" I say honestly. Even though, sometimes I don't mind school because I wouldn't have met my best friends if I was at home.

"its not the law to be in my class" she murmurs and I let out a booming laugh.

"Really? Thank the Gods!" I smirk and she huffed.

She is so hard on me yet if anyone else walks in late, they don't get lectured.

The boys didn't get screeched at and they walked in the same time as me!

We don't get on, at all and she hates my guts for no reason.

"First you're late and then you disrupt the class. Do you want a detention?" She asks putting her arms over her chest.

"Does it get me out of this class?" I say before slapping my hand over my mouth.

I didn't mean to say that out loud. The boys snickered at it was only then I remembered that they sat next to me.

"Detention" she says slamming her hand on my desk, leaving a red detention slip.

I shrug and stand up. I always get a stupid detention in this stupid class.

"And you Jesse, Parker, Sam, Mason and Cody... did you find that funny?" She fumed and they nod their heads.

"Then you also have detention" she says and they shrug walking out.

I head to detention to see my head teacher there. He is like my father, more than my father ever was.

"Kasey" he says nodding to me.

"Yeah?" I ask

"Again for her class!" He says disappointed as he read the detention slip.

The boys entered and say at the back of the room.

"You know that it's not my fault" I say angrily and he sighs, annoyed.

"But-" he starts.

"But nothing. You know that I didn't start it!" I almost shout.

"I know Kasey. Just wait, I will be back." He says and I sit down... I was fuming.

He expects me to get on with that bitch when she is the one who always starts on me. I get angry really really easily.

"What was that about?" One of the boys ask but right now I'm trying to control my anger. I have had anger problems and If I don't control it I can become out of control.

"Yo Kasey. You okay?" One of them said but I take a deep breath in and back out, ignoring them.

The door opens and sir came in with my tablets.

Anger tablets.

I got given them at the age of 16 and they don't do shit. They just make me feel sleepy and i get in a bad mood all day.

"Take them Kasey they will help you" he says and I stand up.

"I'm not taking these stupid tablets when they don't do shit" I say walking towards the door.

"Kasey, they would calm you down. They prevent you from doing things that you usually do when you are angry" He says and I shrug.

"I can calm myself" I say before slamming the door. I run out of school and run home. It is lucky I'm used to running far because it didn't take me long. I get in my car and race out to the only place I could think of...

Adrenaline.

Jesse POV:

I don't know how I've never noticed Kasey before. She is funny and beautiful. Honestly, I think she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She is sarcastic and funny. She is hot and I want her but not in the relationship way.

I don't do relationships and I don't plan to any time soon, but that's just It. I just use girls for a one night stand. To be honest most girls know what they are agreeing to with it and that's how it goes.

"What was that?" Parker asks the head teacher and he sighs.

I noticed how Parker had warmed up to her too...

Having a crush on her was out of the picture so I wander why.

"She got anger problems so I try to get her to take her tablets but she doesn't" he says before adding" you can't tell anyone though, just because she isn't stable as it is" he says and we nod. I could help but wonder why.

"Do you think you know where she is now, we could always try to calm her down and get her back to school" Sam says and I look at him.

'Yeah only because the girl who got you wrapped around her finger is her best friend' I thought.

"Either adrenaline or woods. Most likely adrenaline since she takes her anger out by boxing" he says and my mouth hangs open.

"Let's go guys" Cody says and the head teacher thanks us before leaving us to go after her.

I've always liked our head teacher, he isn't that hard on us and I could tell by the evident worry on his face that he cares about Kasey.

We all take our own car or motorbike before driving to Adrenaline.

We walked in and asked a man, who has tattoos all over him and brown hair if he had saw a girl. We described her a bit and he knew. He showed us to her and unwillingly my mouth dropped open.

She was wearing boxing shorts and a black belly top. But that's not what surprised me. What surprised me was on her pierced belly you could see she had abs.

She kinda looked really hot punching the crap out of a bag.

"Hey" I called her and she looked over at me.

"How did you know I was here?" She asked and i shrug.

"we come here all the time" Mason lies effortlessly and she nods.

She carries on beating the crap out of the bag and I take this as my time to do my own stuff.

I took of my shirt and the guys knew what i was doing and joined me.

We all found a spot and all started doing the same.

I repeated for a couple hours. Kasey was still at it and me and the boys sat out.

About 30 minutes later Kasey comes over and takes a drink of water.

I looked at her abs again; just because I could and this only makes me want her more.

'She is my new target' i think to myself and smirk... This is going to be fun.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I woke up in a bad mood which was kinda normal. I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night since I was up thinking about him. Everything he's done and how it has effected me.

I looked over and saw it was 7:04AM. I decided to take a shower, so I headed straight to my bathroom and put my hair up in a messy bun. I let the hot water relax my body before taking my strawberry scented shower gel and washing my body with it. I didn't bother washing my hair as I washed it yesterday and I would not have time to dry it. I get out and looked through my very messy wardrobe and found a red high wasted skirt with a long sleeved grey crop top. I also put on thick black leggings and black dolly shoes. I matched it with a rose gold chain necklace then I sat down on my dresser.

"Honey breakfast is ready!" My mother says in her cheery voice.

Thank God she still isn't mad at me for me walking out of school and getting a detention.

"Be down now" I say standing from my dresser and heading down stairs.

"You look lovely sweetheart" she gushed as I headed down.

"Thanks mum" I say kissing her cheek and eating a egg and bacon sandwich.

Once I am done I head back upstairs to see i had 10 minutes till I had to leave so I quickly put on winged eyeliner then I brushed my teeth and put on bright red lipstick to match my skirt.

I grab my black backpack and grabbed my phone from my dresser and headed down stairs.

"Bye honey, no more trouble please" my mother begged and I sighed and nodded.

"Good I love you" she says and I smile.

"I love you too" I say and shut the door behind me.

I start my slow walk to school and when I reached there I went straight to my locker. I turned the corner and saw my 2 best friends and the "bad boys" there.

Then it hit me, Rylie is dating a bad boy. Dating! Not only does this mean there is a chance of her getting hurt, but if the boys hanging around with us... a lot.

I shrug it off and carry on walking.

Riley whistled when she saw me making me laugh.

"Girl, you look hot" she says and I smile at her.

"Thanks. You too" I say truthfully. She was wearing a pair of 3/4 leggings with lace at the bottom and an over sized white top tucked in, her hair in beach waves and she had minimal makeup on.

"I'd tap that" Damon whispers to me with a smile and I laugh.

"You're crazy" i state and he shrugs, not really caring.

"Crazy for you" he says loudly, catching the boys attention.

They looks at us in amusement as Damon wraps his arms around me and kisses my head.

"I'm so crazy for you!" He exclaims, dramatically.

"Are you two together?" I hear Cody ask.

A small crowd started to form.

"She's the love of my life!" He exclaims dramatically and Rylie giggled.

The crowd of people began to aw at us, even thiugh we weren't together, and that Damon was gay.

"Come on let's go to the hall" Riley says holding her boyfriends hand. I tried to not 'aww' at them.

"No we're not together" I say to Codt before turning to Rylie "and I can't" I say and everyone -Including the boys- turned to look at me.

The crowd disappears and Damon smirked.

He always had loved acting so him being him decided to act a couple times.

"Why?" Damon asks suspiciously.

"I need to see Mr.Blake" I say and Rylie smiled tackling me in a bear hug.

"You're entering!"She screeched and I nod. She fist pumps the air before walking me (and the boys following) to the music room.

"Can I practice for the show please sir?" I ask my music teacher.

He knows about my singing because I used to sing before i went to Adrenaline.

"Of course Kasey. So, you are entering the contest?" He questions and I nod.

"Yep" I say and he smiles.

"Good. I'll be there to watch" he replies and i walk out the back.

"You guys can go" I shout to my friends and Riley pulls the puppy dog face I can't say no to.

"But pwease" she pouts and i shake my head.

"It's a surprise" I say and Sam, thankfully, takes her. I turn and walk to in to the studio.

I sit on the piano and let my fingers roam the keys.

I was about to continue playing when I heard a clapping noise from behind me. I turned to see Jesse clapping... He heard?

"You're good" he says and I smile.

"thanks" I say, not really knowing what else to say.

"Like really good" he says again with a sincere look.

"Thank you" I chuckled and left the music room just as the warning bell went for first lesson. I had Science so I headed over to science class.

I didn't really realize Jesse was in the class too.

I sat down and opened my book, taking notes from the teacher when a knock came from the door.

"Come in!" The teacher shouts and the door opens revealing 2 police men.

"We need Kasey Willow please" they say sympathetically and I heard a series of 'oohs' but I ignored it and packed up my stuff. I followed the police men to the head teachers room.

"Uh...hi" I say and the teacher looks at me sympathetically.

What's with these looks?

"You might want to sit down for this" they say and I do as I am told.

"It's your mother. She got in a car accident and died on the impact. She was going over the speed limit. You're father has been released for good behaviour and since he is your legal guardian, you will be staying with him. As part of being released early he has had to stay away for you and not get in trouble with the police for 2 years- which he has." they say and I look at the confusedly.

"You're lying!" I accuse pointing at them, already feeling the tears fall.

"We are sorry" they say and I run out of the office.

"Hey-- whats up Kasey?" a masculine voice asks but I feel everything closing in on me and everything becoming blurry.

The person took me out side and said soothing things to me and rubbed my back.

After a while my be staying returned to normal and i turn and hug the person who helped me. The person froze but then they hugged me back.I pulled away to see Jesse.

"Whats wrong?" He asked softly.

"She's gone. I got to stay with him" I sob and even though he doesn't have a clue what I am talking about he listens to my constant babbling of ' hes out of prison' or 'she is gone'.

He takes me back inside and the head teacher has a word with Jesse who looks at me blankly.

"You can take a couple weeks off of school and you Jesse. If you want to tell him what's happening then feel free to" the head master says and Jesse nods with an arm around me.

"Kasey if you ever want to talk, I'm here. Don't to back to that dark place again" he pleads before adding "and take your sleeping I anger pills, they'll help you i promise"he says and I nod even though I wouldn't.

"Come on then" Jesse says leading me out of school.

"Lets get you sorted" he says softly whilst opening the door for me and getting in the driver's seat.
