The morning sun shining brightly Lucy wearing a sleeveless gown in shades of yellow looking sunny and cute with a ponytail was smiling while walking towards the park where her boyfriend James said they were going to meet, on the way to the park she spotted her cousin Ella going towards the park and wanted to talk to her but she was too far for her to call so she let it be and stopped at the mall because it was the second year anniversary of her relationship with James, so when she entered the mall she searched around the shops selling branded items for guys since she was able to save money fro

m her part-time side jobs of washing dishes at the restaurant and finally entered the store that sells watches.

Looking at the watches placed in the glass, she was amazed and also stunned because she had no idea what to buy and also seeing that the watches are expensive, she was pensive about it and also started feeling inferior, James holden a second generation rich guy from the holden family that deals with construction materials that took a liking to her, Lucy flashes back to when she just met James,

She was on her way going home and saw a guy almost hit by a car so she rushed to him and pushed him and on doing that fell on him, James was stunned and saw someone on him a girl cute looking with baby fat still on her face not looking sexy but refreshing to look at, he thought " she's pretty" but not really his type, so after she spoke with him a while and him thanking her they exchanged contact details and he said to buy her a meal to thank her next time as he was rushing to go somewhere, that was where they parted.

A week later Lucy received a call on picking up the call this conversation ensued Lucy said " hello, who is this?"

James said its me the guy you met last week James,

"oh James how do you do? How can i help you?"

"I want to treat you to a meal as a thanks for what you did , can i?"

" Alright i will be free at noon we can meet at xx cafe"

alright i will be there, and that was how they started meeting regularly and also entered a relationship three months later...

People passing by looked at Lucy as she smiled foolishly while holding a watch, and the sales lady asked again "hey, are you still buying the watch?, Lucy came to and said yes, after paying for the watch Lucy felt a bit sad because the watch cost all her saving and for now she would only have to eat buns while at school but she also felt happy because it was worth it to get a gift for their two years anniversary.

Lucy got to the gate of the park and called James with her old broken phone that isn't working fully well, "where are you?" Lucy asked and James replied "behind you" on turning back to see James, Lucy saw her cousin Ella holding James forearm and glaring at her condescendingly, they were looking intimate, Lucy looked confused at James and Ella wondering what is going on, Lucy asked "James whats going on here?"

Before James could say anything Ella rushed to say "what do you think is going on here? Or are you blind and can't see that we are together" Lucy looking lost for sometime before she caught her voice and said with trembling voice while clenching her hands that where hidden in her clothes, "i don't understand what you are saying,James whats going on ?" James looked at Lucy and said " sorry Lucy, Ella and i got back together two months ago.

Lucy was flabbergasted, she felt like she was dreaming, wait hold on Lucy said you mean you guys were dating before," Ella said " do you think a stinky looking unmatured girl like you would really be with James, the James holden please wake up from your dream, what do you have?, what do your family have? You poor girl wants to climb up to a rich mans thighs in your dreams.

Lucy breathing hard said " i thought you said my being poor doesnt matter to you that you liked me for who i am james why are you doing this to me? What did i do to deserve this?" James said " lucy you are not really my type i was just dating you because i wanted to make Ella jealous" "am sorry that it came to this" lucy said "No, james you are not sorry there isnt a remorseful sign on your face, if you were sorry you should have called me separately and told me that you dont like me anymore, you shouldnt have beought Ella with you to insult me, this isnt fair to me,is it? I thought you were a good person, what did i do to deserve this treatment" lucy ran away when she got far away from the park she broke down in tears hitting her chest while sobbing with tears and mucous all over her face, after crying for some time, she stood up and went home with swollen red eyes , avoiding her parents and her brother she entered her room and closed the door.

When Mr and Mrs Jones came home from work the house was cold and looked lifeless, Mrs Jones shouted " Lucy, Felix, is anyone home? Lucy still in her room laying on the bed looking depressed just stayed there without moving and looking up at the ceiling going through her memories of her relationship with James checking if she missed anything that could have shown that James was trying to make Ella jealous, and noticed that every time she and James went out Ella was there too, whether it was to a restaurant or a park, Ella was always around, and she started feeling stupid for not having realised it sooner

.while Lucy was still reminiscing her mother knocked on the door,"Lucy, are you asleep?" Lucy?

Lucy came to and said "no mom am awake,

"but i have been calling you but you seemed absent-minded,whats wrong are you not sure of your result"

"Am sure i will graduate this year mum am not thinking about school"

"then whats wrong" " mum its nothing there's nothing wrong" "are you sure?""am sure mum " " okay then, oh where's your brother? I haven't seen him sine i came back""i don't know mum i haven't seen him too""Alright do whatever you are doing and quickly come down to eat".

"Hello,am home....mum dad sissy where are you?"

" Bug head where have you been mum and dad have been asking me of you?"

"awwn sis did you miss me?"

"shut it stupid"

"where's my sweet mother and bitter father"

Mr and Mrs Jones came out of the room stepping towards the dinning to eat Mr Jones said " Felix where did you go to, you don't have a job yet so where have you been?

Felix said "you see why i call him bitter father he didn't even ask me how i am doing ohhhh my father doesn't love me at all"

Mrs Jones and Lucy started laughing with Lucy laughing the loudest, Mr Jones threw his shoe at Felix with Felix running round the house while cowering and covering his head, Felix shouted "mum,sis help.....your father and husband is going to kill your beloved son and brother" Lucy smiled while watching her family forgetting what happened at the park with James and Ella.

"Alright alright lets eat"

"mum how was work? Said Felix with his mouth full, Lucy hit his head saying "don't you know good food etiquette", Felix groaned "mum did you give birth to my sister before me or after me, why isn't she treating me like an older brother at all"

Mr Jones looked at Felix and Lucy while smiling and said" if you don't behave like an older brother how will she treat you like one,you are always causing trouble outside, so have you gotten a job yet, anyone will do as far as you stop causing trouble..."

Felix looked at his father with red rimming eyes that looks like his about to cry and also at his mother and sister then opened his mouth that is filled with food to say" mumb yab andb siswy arbe watcbing whilb dab saysb thisb tob meb"( mum and sissy are watching while dad says this to me).

Mr Jones knocks his head and says" look at him what did i just say now and what is he doing now ...."

Lucy sticks out her tongue to him laughing at her brother being reprimanded by both parents and thought to herself that even if she's poor at least she still have a family and she's living happily, so i will forget James and move on with my life.

After the meal Lucy went to her room with her brother following closely behind when she was about to step into her room her brother was about to go in too, she stopped him at the doors threshold, looking up to her 8ft handsome brother and asking " why are you following me to my room?" Felix looks down at his small but cute sister and said"How was the anniversary celebrated?"

Lucy looked at Felix and was about to cry but holding in the tears she said "i broke up with James" Felix looks at Lucy with scrutiny " who are you telling lies to now, me?"

"brother am serious i broke up with him"

"who broke up with you is still up for questioning, just tell me what happened "

" brother am not in the mood to talk about this please leave me be" "oh, now you don't want to talk to me right? Didn't i tell you that that guy wasn't a good guy but no, you refused to listen to your big brother, well no need am going to sleep" Lucy looked at her brothers face seeing as he's trying to show her a facade of calmness in his face and holding on to his hand Lucy said " brother don't go,"

"leave me am going to bed am tired need to sleep"

"she kept on holding on to his arms saying" i know what you want to go and do, brother am fine really don't go", Felix turned towards Lucy and said if you are not going to tell me what exactly happened i will go look for James right now beat him up first before asking what happened "

Lucy became agitated and said "i told you i broke up with him why are you going to beat him up again" Felix looked into his beloved little sisters eyes then chuckled and said " that's why am beating him up first before asking so that if he's at fault he won't escape from it but if its your decision then i will apologize after getting the answer" Lucy looked at her brother lost for words and said brother this is why mum and dad always complain you are too aggressive and don't think before acting"

Felix looked at Lucy angrily saying "so i should watch while a bastard bullies my sister right, how can i as the older brother just stand by and watch that happen" "alright i will tell you what happened today"..... then Lucy laid on the bed while Felix sat close to her on the bed and listened to her while she explained all that happened from going to the mall to get the gift till getting to the park and meeting James with Ella, Felix stood up angrily saying " i said it, didn't i tell you that guy wasn't a good person, not to talk down or make you feel inferior but that guy didn't look like some one that liked you at all, well now i have no qualms about beating him up" Felix stood up and dashed out of Lucy's room slammed the door hard in the process of going out. Mrs Jones shouted at him " Felix whats wrong with you why did you hit the door like that are you trying to break down our house" Felix shouted " sorry mum lost control temporarily i wont do it again" " and where are you going to this night? I hope you aren't going to cause trouble" " No mum am a good boy i don't cause trouble i just beat up people who cause me problems and am going to beat one up now"

Mrs Jones was stunned and shouted "Felix get back here what did you say but Felix had already gone out of the house, aiya this boy are you trying to give me a heart attack at least gat married and give me my grand children first before you get yourself killed".

Felix got to the bar located at the north of the city, on entering the bar he saw Felix and Ella staying very close together in one of the cubicles, Felix got angry and was about to smash the door but got calm because he thought that about how he never even liked the bastard James so why will he waste his energy to fight against him ,so he turned a blind eye to what was happening in the room and left the bar, on getting outside the bar he stood at the bus stop for a while looking up to the sky AND looking at the stars while remembering how his sister looked when she was about to start dating J

ames, then he lets out a sigh, well what ever will be will be, so he started making way to the house.

In Aris the mysterious continent, the throne room which was glowing with riches and splendour, different types of emerald and diamond where used in making the king and queen throne and a handsome 8.7ft tall handsome guy with chiseled and prominent cheekbones, long black shiny hair wearing a button up shirt and plain trouser looking like the most blessed creature in all the world sat there, looking down below at the people reading out notices to him, there was numerous number of beings only told in stories gathered together, mer-people,elves,dwarfs,fairies,vampires and witches but the most prominent is the king who sat on the throne he is a lycanthrope the strongest breed of werewolves and was the king in charge of all the beings in Aris.

Lugard the head of the vampires a tall slender pale looking guy with long silver hair and also a friend to the king alpha also known as Armie, but only those close to him and relatives can call him that, was reporting about what happened in the vampire town located at east of the continent, he said " my lord, there have been case of missing vampires recently in the west of vampire town and we need a full investigation to know whats going on, Also you know the treaty signed by all beings in Aris that there wont be war is about to expire, i think you should do something about it so that we can rest easy".

While Lugard was trying to say something Este head of the mer-people a muscular male with blue long hair and chiselled abs wearing only satin pant with no shirt showing off his masculinity cut him off saying

" lugard are you trying to say that you guys are not responsible for our people that died, their bloods were sucked dry so please tell us what exactly are you vampires doing",

the rest of the people on the hall started chattering and the throne room became noisy.

"yes whats happening our people have been killed one after the other are we going to break off like it was a thousand years ago and live separately". Tinker the head of fairies a little being was anxiously looking around trying to placate everyone so that they would be silence but no one answered,then suddenly the alpha king Armie shouted silence, immediately silence returned to the throne room, he said "we have gotten notices about this and investigation are underway but the people doing this don't seem to be from one race, and i know the reason the rebels are causing this much trouble is because they think am not strong enough to lead because i haven't met my mate, but am going to prove them wrong mate or no mate I am the strongest and only i can lead Aris....

This meeting ends here, Armie stood from his throne then everyone bowed their heads then he left the throne room.

Walking along the corridor his beta and younger brother Arix joined him, Arix is a very handsome male with bronze skin brown hair and eyes and a muscular body but he looks like a playboy always going around with females but good at his job sighed saying

" big bro, you haven't seen your mate since a 100 years have passed are you still waiting for your mate, why not marry someone else since your mate cant be seen maybe your mate died as a baby, remember when we were young about the baby that was born with a rainbow in the sky which they said was supposed to be your mate but she died...so what are you going to do now ...keep waiting for a mate?"; Armie looked at him and knocked his head saying " who told you that i was waiting for my mate"

" eh, then why haven't you gotten married yet?" Armie grinned and said" you that have been messing around with all the beautiful women in the city why haven't you gotten married too".

" What do you mean messing around i have been spreading love to the loveless ones Arix smirked while saying that, Armie Shakes his head saying you frivolous guy please quickly settle down let the women rest too.

"well, i will be having my birthday in 2 weeks i will be 80 years then i will get my mate then.

Alright go away and let me be i need to think about something Armie snapped and shut the door in Arix's face almost hitting his head, Arix shouted outside;hey brother watch my handsome head its much valuable to me. Arix huffed then turned away with a hmph going out to the town.

Arix arrived outside a bar where all elves, dwarfs,merpeople,witches and vampires were listening to music and enjoying themselves, some where dancing while a mermaid was singing at the stage.

Arix got to a room at the side of the bar,he knocked on the door when the door opened inside where a pale looking suave cool guy with long silver hair a a vampire named oris a friend to Arix and Armie, with two beautiful and pretty female wolves sisters Serena and Selina with a dwarf and a witch around the table playing game of whot.

Selina is a 7ft bronze coloured body, chestnut coloured hair and big boob and perky butt female wolf who have always had a crush on Armie and is also mateless which she rather prefer so that she can end up with the love of her live she had been dreaming all her life sat drinking a wolven wine as its stronger than the other drinks.
