It was night, and darkness covered everywhere making it hard to see anything or anyone and in these darkness, Simon found himself running and panting. It was as though he was running from something that was capable of tearing him apart. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, he couldn't see what was actually after his life but he knows that whatever it is isn't human and was after his life.

He kept running until he fell into a pit , he tried coming out but couldn't, he heard someone calling his name from afar, he listened and found out it was his mom who was trying to wake him up for school.

"Oh my god! " He exclaimed breathing heavily and sweating profusely.

"Nightmares again?" His mom asked as she sat beside him and handed him a glass of water which he drank without hesitation.

"You have these nightmares every night and it leaves you traumatized, I think we should go see a doctor" his mom said rubbing his back with her palm.

"No, I am fine, mom" Simon said as he stood up to dress up for school, he was already running late to school.

" I am not listening to you this time, we are definitely seeing a doctor or a therapist" his mom said as she prepares breakfast.

"I'm running late to school, let's discuss this when I get back, it's my first day in school today and I'm already nervous" Simon said staring at his mom who was worried.

"I'm sorry, dear" his mom said hugging him, " you are going to be fine" she whispered and kissed his forehead.

"Food is ready, come downstairs for your breakfast" Mrs Smith yelled.

"Coming" Luna said as she came downstairs dressed up in her uniform , she kissed her Mom on her cheek and went to settle down at the dinning.

"Good morning, Dad" she greeted her Dad who was sitting down at the dinning.

"Where's Damon?" Her Dad asked.

"You should at least respond to my greetings" Luna said to her Dad.

"He will join us soon" Mrs Smith said as she dishes the food.

"We are eating pasta again?, When are we going to start eating meats again?, I'm tired" Luna said not wanting to touch the food.

"It's for your own good, your father and I don't want you guys to get so addicted to meats, it's gonna make you to always want to hunt and kill people" Mrs Smith said as she pats her on her head.

"Good morning, everyone" Damon said as he sat down for his breakfast.

"Where were you last night?" Mr Smith asked.

"I went out" Damon replied sharply with a hard face.

"You went out without my permission which is against the rules of this house, what if something happened to you?" Mr Smith shouted angrily.

"I'm old enough to take care of myself, I don't need your protection, if you wanted to protect me you would have protected me from the curse" Damon said .

"This has nothing to do with the curse" Mr Smith said.

"Of course it does, I'm fed up with everything" Damon said as he stood up and left with his school bag and his mom went after him.

She talked to him and calmed him down, she made him believe his father has his best interest at heart and was truly worried about him.

Simon arrived at school in a taxi, he was surprised when he saw the gigantic and beautiful building standing before him, he saw students enter the school compound in various cars, he has heard a lot about the school and now he's confirming it, he was lost and doesn't know where to go when someone tapped him on his shoulder and he turned to know who it was.

"Hi, I'm Marcus" he said smiling but Simon was not, he was so nervous and Marcus noticed it.

"You are new, right?" Marcus asked and Simon nodded his head smiling slightly.

"Come here, let me show you around" Marcus said as he grabbed his hand and they went away.

EAGLES HIGH SCHOOL is a prominent school where rich kids attend and social status mattered so much, parents don't mind spending a fortune for there kids to attend the school, the school is the most talked about and everyone wants to attend but there was something going on in the school that no one dared talk about. Eagles high school is a school where mythical creatures like werewolves attend, they try there best to stay hidden and not to cause havoc in school but they don't hesitate to kill evil humans especially those who bully innocent students but Damon hates them so much, he decided not to get involved with them.

The pack is made up of Jessa who's parents are divorced, Erik and Ellen the twins, Damon and Luna who there father is the Alpha. Jessa is a very beautiful girl and everyone wants to be like her, her mom is well known in the country and she's also very brilliant, Erik and Ellen lives with both of their parents who are also werewolves.

Luna and her older brother Damon are everyone's favorite and everyone adores them, Luna is very pretty and has a very long hair which makes most girls envy her. Damon was not the opposite, he was so handsome and has a dreamy blue eyes which everyone falls for.

Marcus showed Simon around, they happened to be taking the same class and Simon was happy he met someone he can talk to. After class, Simon went to use the restroom, he was coming out when he bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry" Simon quickly apologized, he looked up and and couldn't stop staring at the work of art standing in front of him, he was so lost in to his eyes.

"You should learn how to walk properly" Damon said and walked away. Simon couldn't stop staring at him as he walked away, he was captivated by his beauty, he has not seen anyone so beautiful like that and it made him blush "I love those eyes" he said to himself.

"Where's Damon?" Jessa asked her friends as they sat down at the canteen, everyone knows she has always had a crush on Damon since they were little and wants to get married to him in the future.

"I don't know" Erik said focusing on Jessa who he loves so much but it has been a one sided love.

"He's always staying on his own and distancing himself from us, do you think it's because of the curse?" Elle asked.

"I wonder who he's curse lifter is, he needs to find that person to be free" Erik chipped in.

"The world is cruel, nobody has it all" Jessa said worriedly.

"Do y'all realize you are talking bad about my brother in my presence?" Luna asked.

"We are not, we are showing concern" Elle replied.

"Enough of the discussion, some packs are hosting a party tonight and they invited us" Erik said smiling.

"We are all going, let's shut it down" they said happily and left with there school bags.

Simon was about going home when Marcus called his attention. " There's this party happening tonight and I want you to be there, I will text you the location" Marcus said to him.

"I'm not sure I will be there" Simon said to him.

"You should, you need to enjoy your first day in school, you will love it" Marcus said to him.

Simon arrived at the party after taking permission from from his mom, he's not into partying so he was so nervous. The party was filled with teenagers dancing and drinking, the music was so loud that Simon couldn't hear himself. He saw people making out as he went inside.

"Hey!, I'm so happy you made it" Marcus said hugging Simon, let's get you a drink" he said to Simon.

Damon was partying with his friends when he saw Simon getting drunk and dancing wildly. " Who invited this stupid human" Damon said to Erik as he gulps down the glass of wine in his hand.

"It's been long we went out to hunt together" Elle said to them, "I think we should do that soon" Jessa replied and everyone agreed with her.

Simon was drunk, he decided to use the restroom when some wolves followed him to hurt him, they found out he was human.

Simon was coming out of the restroom when some guys dragged him, their fangs and claws came out and they growled at him making him scared. Simon was so scared, he was breathing heavily and wanted to run for his life but couldn't, they were about attacking him when they heard a voice.

"Back off!!!" Damon commanded and they immediately left Simon, he was so scared that he passed out and Damon held him, he recognized him as the guy he bumped into earlier in school and he held him tightly while trying to keep him safe which surprised him because he doesn't do that for others.

Damon took Simon to his sister "I want you to erase his memory of the party" Damon said to his sister.

"Why?" Luna asked surprisingly.

He was attacked by some wolves but I happened to save him" Damon said.

"That's unlike you, I'm surprised you did that, is it love at first sight?" Luna teased Damon smiling.

"It's nothing like that, I just happened to pass by and decided to help" Damon said defending himself.

"Such a cute guy" Luna said and went close to Simon, she touched his palm and felt something which made her let go of him.

"What is it?" Damon asked his sister.

"I see something, I don't understand what it is but I'm sure I saw something and it's not ordinary" Luna said confused about what to do.

"Do you mean he's not human?" Damon asked his sister

"He is, but there is something about him, I'm gonna try erasing his memories but I can't guarantee you that it's going to work" Luna said

"Why?" Damon asked, he was so confused because his sister couldn't explain what she saw and he doesn't want Simon to go about telling people about what happened to him at the party. Luna tried erasing his memories and Damon took him back to the party, Marcus has been searching for him and finally he found him on the floor and assumed he was wasted so he took him to his house because he doesn't know his house address.

Luna kept pacing around in her room, she was trying to figure out what she saw in Simon, she has never seen anything like that, " I will go to the mythical library tomorrow, I need to check the book of mystery" she said to herself.

Jessa got home from the party and met her mom who just came back from a trip, she doesn't have a great relationship with her mom and it all started after her parents got divorced.

"Where have you been?" Jessa's mom queried

"I was with my pack" Jessa replied and her mom was angry.

"I have told you several times not to hang out with those kids, you are not like them" her mom said to her.

"I'm like them, I'm a werewolf" Luna replied.

"You are not a full werewolf, you can never be like them or have powers like them" her mom said to her. Luna was so angry that she went to her room, she hates it whenever her mom reminds her that she's not a full werewolf and that's because her father is a werewolf and her mother is human.

"My mom is right, I can never be like them but I want to be with Damon, I want to stay by his side and I will do everything within my power to make that happen.

Erik was sitting on his bed when his sister came in to his room, " thinking about Jessa?" Ellen asked

"Yeah" Erik replied smiling.

"Why do you love her so much?, We all know she loves Damon" Ellen said.

"I know but I won't stop loving her, I have a feeling that she's going to be into me very soon" Erik said.

"Don't set your hopes too high, brother" Ellen said to him.

Simon saw himself running and panting heavily again, he was running from something dangerous and this time he saw what it was.

"Are you okay?" Marcus asked as he woke him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine" Simon replied breathing heavily and sweating profusely.

"You don't look fine to me" Marcus said to him.

"Okay, I always have nightmares and is all about a monster chasing after me and wanting to kill me, but...., I think I know what I saw" Simon said to him.

"You do?" Marcus asked and he nodded his head.

"Can you draw it for me?" Marcus asked handing him a paper and a pencil. "I'm done" Simon said to him and Marcus couldn't believe what he saw.

"A werewolf?, Why is he being Chased by a werewolf?" Simon asked rhetorically. He excused himself and went in to the bathroom, he is a werewolf and the last thing he wants is for Simon to know who he is. Simon is the only friend he has and he's so comfortable with him, he feels that Simon will hate and avoid him if he finds out who he is.

" The other packs are going to kill him if they finds out he knows about us, I have to protect him" Marcus said to himself.

"Don't worry, it's because you are hungover" Marcus said to him trying to distract him, he made breakfast for him and drove him home but he was still worried and decided to find out why Simon was having such nightmares.

After school, Luna went to the mythical library, she entered the library and greeted the old woman sitting at the counter who was also a mythical creature.

"You rarely come here, is everything okay?" The old woman asked Luna.

"Yes, just curious about something" Luna said smiling, she went inside and after some minutes of searching, she found the book she was looking for, she opened and couldn't believe what she saw, she became so scared.." this is bad" she murmured.

Damon was at rooftop alone thinking, he doesn't like staying in class because of noise. He was thinking about himself and the curse. He was born with a curse which according to his father was inevitable, it was said that he will die on his eighteenth birthday which was approaching soon but he can be saved if he finds his curse lifter who will lift his curse and die on his behalf. His parents has done everything within their powers to find this person but couldn't, after seventeen years of searching they haven't given up, they were bent on protecting their son who was so special and has so many magical powers, he was supposed to take after his father and become the Alpha.

Birthdays don't interest Damon, they were just a reminder that he was close to his death so he doesn't celebrate them, he hardly hangs out with his pack or use his powers. He was alone thinking because his birthday is fast approaching and nothing has been done, he closed his eyes facing the sky. Simon decided to go to the rooftop, he loves the air that he receives from there, he climbed to the roof and saw Damon sleeping.

He was so attracted to him that he went close to him, he kept admiring him and smiling shyly, he loves how beautiful Damon is and how calmly he was sleeping, he wanted to touch his face when Damon held his hand and he fell on his body.

"What do you love so much about me that made you keep staring at me?" Damon said calmly while holding his hand and staring into his eyes.

"Everything, especially... your.. eyes" Simon stuttered. the emotions between them was so intense and Damon could hear his heart beating.

Damon was surprised and couldn't believe what was going on that he forgot he was still holding Simon. Simon was lost in his eyes, he never knew Damon was awake.

"Simon!!!" Marcus called out as he came to join him on the roof, that was when they realized their selves and Damon let go of Simon, he stood up and left.

Marcus met Damon going downstairs and hurried up to the roof to meet Simon, he met him still in shock and asked him what happened.

"Nothing" Simon replied faking a smile. "Who's that guy" Simon asked Marcus.

"He's name is Damon, he's no good, make sure you avoid him and don't get close to him" Marcus said to Simon. Marcus found himself being attracted to Simon, his cuteness and softness made it hard for him to see him as just a friend.

Damon went to the restroom, he washed his face with water and stares into the mirror, he couldn't believe what was happening to him, " I have never experienced this before" he said as he placed his hands on his chest. Damon couldn't take Simon out of his head, he kept thinking about everything that transpired between them and smiled without realizing it, he realized he has a soft spot for Simon and it was coming from the place of love. "Why does it feel like I have been with him before now, is it my imagination?" Simon asked himself.

Jessa saw Damon coming out from the restroom and went to him, she held his hand and engaged him in a conversation. Damon knows how much Jessa loves him, he always respected and made her feel special despite not having feelings for her.

Luna wanted to tell her family what she found out about Simon but she decided to keep it to her self even though it was eating her up. " What If I was wrong about him?, I need to keep an eye on him to be sure" she said to herself. She decided to distract herself by partying.

She got to the party and met Ellen who was partying in full spirit. " What are you doing here?" She asked Ellen who was so happy.

"I can't hear you the music is too loud, let's get you some drinks" she said to Luna and dragged her away. They drank and danced happily and before they knew what was going on they were already kissing each other. They kissed each other intensely and Ellen leaned Luna against the wall , she pulled down her skirt and made her way into her underwear. " Are you sure about this?" Luna asked Ellen as she stopped her.

"I have never been so sure about anything else in my life" Ellen said and Luna giggles, she continues kissing and smooching her breast which made Luna moan loudly. They woke up in the morning next to each other and Ellen held Luna so close to herself and not letting her go.

"Is this just a sex or there's more to it?" Luna asked Ellen as she stares into her eyes.

"There's more to it, I have feelings for you and that's what matters" Ellen said touching Luna's face and smiling, she couldn't stop admiring how pretty Luna was. "Can we keep it a secret for now?, I have not come out to my parents and I don't know how they would react, I want to do that when I'm ready" Ellen said and Luna agreed.

"I need to go back home, I don't want my Dad to know that I didn't spend the night at home" Luna said trying to get up but Ellen held her back.

"Don't go, let's do some more" Ellen said holding her and Luna couldn't stop smiling. " Let go of me" she said shyly as she tries to free herself from her lovers grip.

Mr and Mrs Smith were worried about Damon, his birthday was approaching and they haven't found his curse lifter, they went to several witches and sorcerers to break the curse but couldn't.

"What should we do?, I can't lose my son because of your mistake" Damon's mom said tearfully.

"Damon is my son and he is the only one that can be the Alpha after me, do you think I would want him to die?, The mistake has been made let's not talk about it" Damon's Dad said while pacing around the sitting room.

"He was cursed because of your mistake, now he has to die while you live" Mrs Smith said but this time she was shouting.

"I love my son!!!, If my death could lift his curse I would have died for him, that's how much I love him" Mr Smith said, you could tell he was holding back his tears from dropping. Damon and Luna walked in on them and couldn't hold back their tears. Damon went outside and Luna went after him.

"This sucks...." Luna said to Damon while trying to stop herself from crying. " I can't lose you, we still have time" Luna said to Damon who was not crying and was so calm, she wondered how he could be so calm about the fact that he will be dead six months from now, "I guess he has accepted his fate" Luna said to herself, she swore to do every thing possible to keep her brother alive and that was when the pack came to her mind.

Luna gathered her pack after school except Damon. "There's a problem" Luna said to them.

"What's wrong?" Erik asked.

"We all know about Damon's curse, right?" Luna asked staring at them.

"Of course, we do" Jessa replied.

"He is meant to die on his birthday which is six months from now and the full moon is in six months from now and it happens to be on Damon's birthday, I know y'all knows what that means" Luna said.

"Hold on, on the full moon we all share each other's feelings and pains .......... Erik was still talking when Ellen cut him short, "which means if he was meant to die on that day, we all are dieing with him" Ellen said in disbelief.

"We need to do something, we can't die" Erik said angrily.

"And Damon also doesn't deserve to die" Jessa said worriedly. " We need to do something " Jessa said.

"There's nothing we can do, our parents have been trying for Seventeen years and nothing has changed, do you think we could make any difference?" Ellen asked.

"Yes we can, if we work together" Luna said.

"What's the plan?" Jessa asked.

"We need to get to the root of these, let's start by knowing about the origin of the curse" Ellen said.

"My parents won't tell us, the topic was forbidden in my house" Luna said .

"I know someone who could tell us, let's meet tomorrow by 9 pm" Jessa said and they all agreed.

"Hi .." Ellen said to Luna who was ready to leave.

"How are you doing?" Luna asked.

"I'm fine, are you okay?" Ellen asked Luna who broke down.

"Don't worry, we got this" Ellen assured and kissed her.

Damon has been in pains for the past few weeks and he kept it secret from everyone, he doesn't want to disturb anyone or make his family worry since he was going to die soon. He was going to his to car after school when he felt a sharp pain in his chest, he tried his best to pull himself together but couldn't. Marcus decided to find out why Simon was seeing a werewolf in his dream, he went to his mom who was a sorcerer to ask her after dinner.

Marcus's Dad is a werewolf but he was killed in a war that took place right before Marcus was born, his mom who is a very powerful sorcerer has been the one raising him. Marcus doesn't really have a pack because they couldn't accept the fact that he was a son of a powerful sorcerer making him a half wolf. Marcus asked his mom who was surprised to hear that from him.

"Why are you asking?" She asked looking at his eyes.

"Just curious...." Marcus said.

" There's a connection between him and the wolf clan" his mom said.

"What kind of connection?" Marcus asked, you could tell he was concerned.

"I can't tell, but whatever it is it's Very powerful" His mom said.

Marcus was worried, "what kind of connection could he have?" Marcus asked himself, he decided to invite Simon over to his house.

Damon woke up and found himself in a room he's not familiar with, he rubbed his eyes with the back of his palm and that was when he saw Simon sitting beside him.

"Thank God you are awake" Simon said happily as he placed his palm on Damon's forehead trying to check his temperature.

"I'm okay" Damon said as he removed his hand, "what am I doing here?" Damon asked Simon who was nervous.

"You passed out at the garage so I brought you to my house because I don't know where you live and no one is in my house" Simon said shyly.

"Do you live alone?" Damon asked Simon.

"No, I live with my mom but she went on a business trip, it happens often" Simon said avoiding his gaze, he was so shy that he couldn't look at his face and Damon noticed it, he smiled slightly while staring at him.

Damon wanted to go back home but it was late so he decided to pass the night at Simons house, Simon brought some of his shirt for him to change into, he handed them over to Damon and was about leaving the room when Damon stopped him.

"Where are you going to?" Damon asked him.

"To the sitting room, I will sleep there" Simon said to him.

"Don't go, stay with me" Damon said to him and he was serious about it. He signaled him to sit beside him and Simon did, he was so shy and couldn't believe what was happening. Damon has so many abilities which includes hearing people's thoughts, he could hear everything Simon was thinking and wondered why he was so cute. He stood up to change his clothes, he removed his shirt showing his abs and Simon covered his eyes with him palm and Damon couldn't stop admiring him. He went close to him and removed his palm, he placed Simons hand on his body and asked him to feel it. He went closer to him and ran his hand through his face, he brushed his lips with his finger and Simon melted, he was so close to him that Simon could hear his heartbeat and the tension between them was so high. He gazed at him and Simon blushed because that gaze was filled with love.

Damon couldn't hold it together, he was about kissing him when he remembered what Luna told him about Simon, he decided not to do it. They laid down together hugging each other. Simon couldn't sleep, he kept wondering why Damon didn't kiss him and wished he had done it.

"I'm happy he's here with me" Simon said happily. Damon heard everything he was thinking about and wished he could do more with him. He made him face him while hugging him tightly.

"Thanks so much" Damon said to him.

"For what?" Simon asked.

"For bringing me here and making me comfortable, I have never felt so comfortable with anyone before" Damon said to him and Simon giggles. Damon loves his cute face, his pink lips made him salivate, his soft skin and body made Damon thinks he needs to be handled with care.
