The Alpha's Secret Triplets

Elena POV

It has been years, but I will never give up on my escape plan to leave Benjamin.

I couldn't bear it anymore. I could not stay any longer. It was a perfect time and a perfect opportunity for me to leave. I did not care what anyone said.

I tried my best but his viciousness just couldn't be bearable, so many times I tried to plan an escape route but none of them worked.

Benjamin was my mate, but I never really felt the love between mates, between us at all.

He always tried to prove that he was stronger and wiser, he was always the smart one and could get whatever he wanted. To top up everything, he wanted to be the next alpha of the park.

I had no problem with it but he could manipulate anyone to get that position, which included me, and I became scared that I could not continue with this anymore. After all, both of us getting married was also a coincidence, it wasn't like we planned any of it. He was just too much for me to be with and I had to find an alternative as soon as possible. I had always dreamed of the day I would leave the palace.

I became fortunate the day I found an escape route and tried to pack a few things, but Benjamin was becoming too suspicious of me, so I decided to play it cool.

The day of my escape came as quickly as I wanted it to and I was ready to leave Benjamin's life for good. I know everyone would wonder what could possibly be my excuse for leaving Benjamin so quickly, but I have already suffered enough. He was too strict and pretentious and my parents did not know what I was going through because he was a rich alpha in the making.

So many times I tried to inform my parents about what was going on but it was all impossible.

I don't know why, but everyone always believed him more than me. So I decided to let it all go and instead plan for my escape. I can't explain it but a lot has been involved in my escape and a lot of innocent lives have been destroyed just because of my presence.

It was nighttime and the day of my escape, he was busy with the council members who wanted to put him through the governing procedures of becoming an alpha, which I knew would make him very busy and concentrate.

I slowly peeped out of my room to find the guards a bit distracted with their smartphones, and I slowly sneaked out. I only had a pair of shirts with me inside my bag and a little cash I managed to smuggle out of Benjamin's wallet unnoticed.

The minute I came face-to-face with the outside world, I ran as fast as my legs could take me because I knew the minute Benjamin noticed I had already vanished he would send guards or even search for me himself. That was how much I mattered to him.

Yes, I know fully well that Benjamin loves me, but his way of proving his feelings is just too much

I had to do this. It was my only chance. I could slowly see the forest as I ran as fast as my legs could take me. Just when I was about to step my foot into the forest, I heard the guards' alert bell in the Mansion make a loud sound which was mostly used to announce important news. I knew this important news was the fact that I was missing, which meant I had to run faster because one thing about Benjamin Wolf was, he was very fast.

I tried transforming also so I could be faster, but it was totally impossible also, so I decided to stay the way I was as I continued to run through the forest.

I had already been in the forest for more than 30 minutes when I noticed fire lights coming from the direction of the mansion, which meant Benjamin was getting closer to me. He would slowly track me down. I know he would easily track me down because we were mates, which means he can easily sniff me out from anywhere.

I took out a perfume I stole from the Doctor who always checks up on me as I sprayed it on my body to reduce the wolf scent that came pouring out of me.

I had already run for an hour from the mansion when I slowly saw light coming from the end of the forest, which meant I was slowly getting to the main road and that would be easier for me to run and slower for Benjamin, because he would have to transform into a human to avoid any problem from the human world.

I saw a traveling bus coming from the far end as I ran faster to catch up to the bus.

I quickly rushed to the front of the bus before it got to me and spread out my hands so the driver could stop, which he did, looking a bit scared. I know I looked tattered and had been running barefooted with just a rug bag on my shoulder.

"Stop!! Help me please!! Take me with you, don't leave me here!" I yelled with desperation, making the driver even more scared as he quickly got off the bus with a lady behind him. She seemed to be the bus conductor from the way she was dressed. She looked at me with concern evident on her face.

"What's going on? Where are you coming from and who was chasing you to make you run from the forest? She asked me so many questions at once, but I was not ready to answer her. Another lady from the traveling boss came out and looked at me angrily.

"Aren't you scared, young lady? Don't you see how dangerous that road is? How can you even be running from the forest and don't know about the danger of going through the forest because of the kind of creatures that live within it? " the lady asked me, still looking at me from head to toe angrily, like I had just ruined her trip for her, but at this moment I did not care what anyone was thinking about me. All I needed was to escape from here. I turned my head towards the forest and noticed the lights were getting closer.

"Do you really want to waste time in this dangerous forest asking me that question or would you help me rather than leave me here to die" I asked the driver, not even caring about the speech she just made.

The driver looked at me a bit frightened at the speech I had just made. He looked over at the conductor and she shrugged, clearly indicating she had no choice either, so they had to take me in with them.

Elena POV

"Do you have a destination?" the conductor asked me. I tried to remember where exactly the forest led through. I looked at the road and the first signboard I saw said welcome to California, which clearly meant this was the countryside of California. I cannot believe I moved this far, just to be with Benjamin and he treats me this way.

"I'm going to California's main city" I said confidently, like I was sure about my destination. The conductor looked at me and pulled me closer to her like she was about to whisper a few words to me, which she clearly did.

"Do you really have a destination you are going to or have you just made up the address because of the signboard you saw" she whispered to me as I looked at her with surprise. She seemed smart because of her looks.

"I seriously don't have anywhere to go, but I don't want the driver or you to leave me behind. That is why I made this up. I really want you to understand."

"I totally understand you, but I do not just know what could be so dangerous that you decided to run through that forest. Do you know the kind of creatures that live in there?" she said, pointing towards the forest as I looked at it and noticed a few shadows throughout the forest.

Benjamin was definitely part of them. He had seen me and I knew he would try to track down the bus. This was all because of this lady conductor who kept asking me stupid questions. She could have just let me onto the bus like I wanted instead of wasting so much time trying to convince me to not follow a forest I already came out of successfully.

"I am Sandra and I work with the travel agents. I can take you in while you try to find a way around till you are ready to go back to the very place you escaped from. I hope that you'll be fine", Sandra said to me as I looked at her.

"I'm very surprised that people like you still exist in this world, people that could easily take someone in without having a second thought", I looked at her smiling widely.

"I never really looked at you as someone who could be so nice. I am so happy you did not even give it a long thought before finally taking me in... I won't disappoint you, please just let me spend a few days with you till I am strong and ready to take off", I said to her with my two hands closed together.

Sandra took me with her to California's main city, where I slowly adapted to her life. A few weeks passed and I was not my usual self anymore. I could no longer understand myself. I was always feeling nauseous and having morning sickness. Sandra also noticed it and decided to take me to the hospital for a check-up, which I disagreed with because I knew the minute I stepped into the hospital, the doctor would immediately note the difference in me.

"Why don't you want to go to the hospital to at least find out what exactly is wrong with you?" Sandra asked me after several attempts to take me there. She even wanted to try to over dose me so I would be rushed to the hospital, but it did not work for me.

In order not to break her heart, I decided to do whatever she wanted just so everything would be okay. We went to a nearby hospital together to find out what was wrong with me. Relief washed over me when the doctor did not notice anything different about me.

To think that all my worries were just a waste of time. Time seemed to stop with what happened next. I froze at what the doctor uttered next. The doctor's news of the results came as a huge shock and knocked the air out of me.

"You are pregnant".

Why did I not ever get to notice this or make a move on it ? This was so obvious that I noticed this, but I was so foolish not to even check on it.

"So what are you going to do now? are you going back to your family which you just ran away from or are you just going to push on as a single mom ", Sandra asked.

"I can't go back, not now or ever. I will try and work and do better just to become a single mother for my child. I won't go back there no matter how tough it is. I just can't do it and I know nothing can ever take me to Benjamin that I am sure of " I said to her, even being more determined inside than I was outside.

I started a part-time job in a few cafes and restaurants around, which was the only job a person like me with no identity could do and before you knew it, 9 months had passed.

And just when I had already planned my life for me and my child, everything had to get worse and I had to bear the news of having triplets.... I decided to take two of them for adoption and just keep one with me.

Sandra continuously convinced me that with determination and hope I would be able to take care of them and she would always be by my side to assist me in everything. No matter how I tried, I just could not stay away from the three of them at once, it felt like they were all connected to me and no matter how well I tried to keep one away from me, I would still come back to take them off because they were still mine.

After so many thinking and sleepless nights, I had no choice but to take care of all my triplets.

If that was not enough, they had to be a replica of Benjamin.

"You have such beautiful kids " a lady commented when I first bought them out for some play time in the park.

At first I thought I had finally found peace, but then I saw a few of Benjamin's men around my workplace. I was so scared they might find me, so I decided to flee from Sandra's place and go to a much more remote area in the city. But I always felt werewolves around, so every time I did, I always made sure to flee from there because Benjamin was known everywhere and almost everyone knew about the both of us being mates. I couldn't take the risk.

My boys were slowly going to be the best thing I could ever wish for and I was so happy I didn't take any one of them to the orphanage

Everything was going perfectly even though I usually had to flee once in a while. I was fine with it. 10 years had passed since I ran away from ruthless Benjamin and was finally happy with my life.

"I am here for my kids", I said to the receptionist in the playground where I always drop my kids whenever I have to go somewhere or work.

"What are their names please", she asked.

"Jeremy, James and John", I replied. She immediately looked confused.

"Were you not here to pick them earlier?", she asked.

Elena POV

"I was never here" I exclaimed, feeling my heart slowly leap out of my chest.

"Look, you even signed out" the receptionist said, showing me her books which actually had my signature. Could someone have the exact same signature as mine, I thought to myself as I could not even concentrate on anything. I was so confused and everything I could think of was the fact that Benjamin had gotten to them before me.

"I was never here. How could you give my kids out to someone else !!!" I yelled, pulling the lady by her collar.

"Miss, I am sorry but she was so convincing I had no choice", she replied, trying to release my grip on her.

"I don't care, find my sons back", I yelled out, making the manager rush out and a few parents around. "What is going on?", the manager asks, pulling me away from the receptionist.

"Someone took my kids and she's claiming it was me. Check your security cameras. You must find my kid's back, I don't care how", I continued.

"Miss, you have to calm down. Those kids will be fine", the manager assured me.

"Bring them to me now", I continued to shout, gaining more attention from parents around

"Let us involve the police then" the manager said, calling the police number.

"Miss, you are overreacting. Maybe someone close to you just helped you pick them up ", a lady among the crowd said

"with my signature?" I asked

"and besides, I don't have any close relatives or friends" I added, still pacing around the room.

"The police will be here soon. This issue will be settled", the manager said.

"So, this is the exact signature like yours?" the police officer asked after they arrived and went through the signature thoroughly.

"Yes , but officer, how is this helping?" I asked.

"Miss, don't you see your kids are being kidnapped and you can't blame anyone for that " the police officer yelled.

It cannot be that they can't kidnap my kids. Benjamin couldn't have possibly found us.

I tried everything I could for days to even find my kids. Sandra even pasted posters of them at every place but still no news of them.

"Elena, stop crying. No matter the tears you shed, you can't bring them back. You have to be strong to find them ", Sandra said for the fifth time today, but it is not working. I cannot just calm down. They were all I had left and I couldn't do without them.

"And, I also think this is the right time to ask this question. Where is the father of your triplets?".

I have always avoided Sandra asking this question, but I guess I couldn't anymore.

"He is dead".

"He is not dead Elena. I know he is not" Sandra opposed

"You don't want to go back to him. Did he treat you badly?" Sandra asked.

"He is a monster, Sandra. I can't even go back to him no matter what "I replied, recalling the night of my escape.

I was down the hall that night preparing to sleep when I overheard Benjamin discussing with his friend, so I leaned closer to eavesdrop.

"Does she know ?"Matthew, Benjamin's friend, asked

"Why should I tell her? She is not important to me ", Benjamin said.

"But Benjamin, I cannot continue hiding from Elena", I heard a lady's voice say.

Benjamin brings a lady home and I don't even know about it.

"How could you? She loves you Benjamin", Matthew added.

"I know she is cheating on me and I will make her life difficult ", Benjamin said. Just then, my personal maid walked by. I dragged her with me to my chambers.

"Do you know anything that you are not telling me", I asked Mary. She looked at me with guilt on her face.

"Benjamin's mother made a false accusation about you, concerning your previous pregnancy ", Mary said.

"Saying that it wasn't his baby?" I asked Mary and she nodded positively.

"So you knew about this and you did not deem it fit to inform me. You were all hiding it."

"We were ordered not to say anything to you or we will suffer the consequences " she replied.

"Miss Elena, you really need to leave the palace. Benjamin is not who you think he is anymore. He wants to become the Alpha and your life will be exchanged for that", Mary said, checking if anyone was eavesdropping on our conversation.

"How do you know about this "I asked.

"You are the only one who doesn't know about this", Mary said. We both heard footsteps and Mary ran off before I could stop her.

"Elena", I heard Benjamin call my name from behind as I quickly wiped the tears on my face.

"What "

"Why are you still awake", he asked.

"Do I always have to explain everything to you" I replied.

" Stop answering my questions with another"

"You want to become an Alpha?" I asked, staring directly into his eyes.

"Who told you that ?"he asked.

Just as I predicted, Mary was saying the truth.

"I know your mother killed my baby after you kept claiming the baby wasn't yours", I yelled at Benjamin, who pulled me close to him.

"I could not feel the child's presence. We were not connected and that clearly meant he wasn't mine", he replied.

"He was still too small for you to know that, Benjamin."

"I don't care Elena, the child is dead", he said, letting go of my hand.

"Why don't you just let me go?", I asked.

"Because you are mine", he replied.

"I know you have another woman too," I said to him.

"Have you been spying on me?", he asked, pushing my back against the wall and pinning me there.

" Stop, you are hurting me", I said, trying to push him away, but he wasn't letting go.

"That woman was introduced to me by my mother. She is supposed to be my mate when I become the alpha", he replied.

"Then go be with her and let me go. I can't continue this", I said as he was slowly releasing his claws.

"Please, I want to be free from you", I pleaded.

"You can't, no matter where you go, even if you decide to run away I will find you", he said, gripping tightly my arm which was hurting me so badly .

"You are mine now and I can do whatever I want with my property", he added. I felt a sharp pain in my arm. I was actually bleeding. Benjamin had succeeded in hurting me again.

"Please stop, you are making me bleed", I begged in pain.

His eyes were now red like he wasn't in control of his actions, which always happens whenever he gets angry.

He lets go of me after getting back to his senses.

" I am sorry, I didn't know. It won't happen again, I swear", he added, hugging me even tighter.

"That is what you always say. Please stop hurting me", I said, pushing him away, but he wouldn't let go.

"Please forgive me ," Benjamin pleaded with me continuously.

"I have forgiven you, can you let go of me now?"

"I will, but why do I feel like you have not forgiven me? "

This was what I had to pass through every time and Sandra wanted me to go back there.
