Chapter 01

* 10 Years Ago *

* Laurasia's POV *

" Hey, are you okay? " My roommate asked me as I landed on the bed tiredly. " Yes, I guess " I mumbled tiredly.

I'm not only tired of being worked out every time but I'm tired of being the Alpha's s*x slave.

This gruesome title has been mine ever since I was caught trying to steal from the Alpha two years ago, his precious gold ring which was said by history to have been gifted to him by his father.

I tried to steal it for selfish reasons which I regret now as I'm m being punished for it now. He made me his s*x slave ever since then.

It was a painful trauma for me, a painful memory she could never forget. My family did all they could to help me but Alpha Domini wasn't ready to let go.

But I still believe there's hope for me, which is finding my mate.

As a gift and fate gifted to the people of the Crescent Moon Pack by the moon goddess. Every werewolf is fated to meet their mate on their eighteenth birthday.

And it's my birthday some days from now, I can't be more excited and anxious to meet my mate.

My instinct thinks my mate might be someone powerful who would save me from this gruesome title of mine.

And Alpha Domini, had promised to let go of me once my mate had been found, more reason why I should be more than happy.

" Hey, Laurasia! Why are you in smiles all of a sudden? " Aledia asked me, it was then I realized that I had been smiling out of the blue.

I only passed her a smile before closing my eyes deeply, my imagination filled with thoughts of whom my fated mate could be.

** Two Days Later **

" Happy Birthday!! " Aledia screamed into my ear almost immediately, and I jumped off the bed immediately.

" Oh my!! " I screamed in excitement, hugging Aledia who was also happy for me

" Happy eighteenth birthday! " Aledia said in smiles and I smiled widely.

" Thanks so much! God, I can't believe this! Aledia!! I'm going to meet my mate today!!" I screamed, jumping happily around the room.

" Yeah, I'm so happy for you, You've been living cruelly as Alpha Domini's slave. I feel bad for you but I'm glad it's ending soon. I'm really glad " Aledia said sadly, suddenly feeling bad for what her friend had gone through during her years of being an s*x slave. She's only a slave in the palace while I'm the Alpha's bed satisfier.

" Yeah. I really can't wait to be out of here. I hate being Alpha Domini's s*x slave! I hate it! And now I'm leaving. it's ending today, I can't wait!! " I cried hurtfully and Aledia pulled her to herself.

" It's fine. you will be fine.. everything's fine now. it's ending soon " She comforted. I pulled away from the hug suddenly as I wiped my tears in a hurry.

" I'm meeting my mate today, right? " I asked and Aledia nodded.

"You are! You will be free from all this soon " Aledia said and I nodded as I dried my tears with my palm.

" If truly I meet my destined mate today, I will be free from this bondage, right? but then... What if? No, it can't happen.. it can't. " I mumbled to myself silently hoping things won't go wrong like I'm thinking.

I suddenly felt a cold and chilly aura and I hope things won't go wrong.

" Hey, are you okay? " Aledia asked when she noticed my sudden sullen mood.

" Um yeah. I'm fine. I'm fine " I muttered, suddenly feeling restless.

" It's the Alpha's Son birthday today, right? " I suddenly asked and Aledia nodded.

" Yes, it is. it's almost midmorning, I'm sure we would soon be called out to start the birthday preparation soon. I can't believe you and Alpha Dorian have the same birthday " Aledia gushed and I nodded.

" Yeah, it's probably fate," I said with a tiny smile.

** Crescent Moon's Palace **

" Hey! Where's Aledia? " I asked the guards guarding the big palace gate.

The birthday celebration was going on. It was more like a festival, kings, queens, Alphas, and Lunas from other kingdoms were available as well as their offsprings.

The celebration was indeed an extravagant one. Slaves weren't allowed in and were only restricted to their rooms. They weren't allowed to be a part of the celebration.

The Palace's big gate was shut and no one was allowed in as the celebration went on. The slaves could only listen to the music and loud interactions with people going on in that big hall.

They could only listen from their rooms. I had been in my room together with Aledia when suddenly I found out Aledia wasn't in the room and I was worried.

" We don't know who that is and we would advise you to go back to your room before you get caught. Slaves aren't allowed to be seen around here " One of the guards said to me and I knew better than anyone that they were right.

Who was I kidding anyways? We're just slaves anyways. This guard can't know who Aledia is.

" Oh yes " I muttered. I turned to leave until suddenly I saw someone walking out from the other door that leads to the palace hall where the celebration was going on.

I had never seen that face before but judging from the attire he was putting on, I knew it was no one other than the Alpha Prince.

No slave had ever seen his face before as it was said that he lived somewhere other than Crescent Moon Town.

It was his first time visiting home after 10 years. It was said that he left home together with his mom at the age of eight and no one knew where they lived until now.

I bowed my head immediately as he approached them.

" Hey, did you see some... " He suddenly stopped like he felt something I had also felt.

He must have also heard the same thing I was hearing from my wolf.

My wolf, Guaria who had been dead for years suddenly woke to life and was dancing in my head.

" Mate.. mate.. mate. " It kept chanting and I raised my head in shock and our eyes met.

" Mate!? " We both chorused at the same time and the guards behind us gasped out loudly.

I could guess what he was thinking at the moment.

A slave? His mate? He probably couldn't believe this!

Why would the moon goddess pair him with a slave out of every werewolf in the world?

It is the same for me, I'm more than shocked right now and I can't believe this.

I am shocked as I don't even know how to react. Should I be happy? My mate is the Alpha Prince, but then... I'm his father's s*x slave.

He definitely can't accept me, can he? He definitely can't!

Things didn't go right as I had hoped, instead, they went wrong!

* Daciana's POV *

" My Queen. " I heard my personal guard's voice behind me and without looking back, I replied, " Speak Up! "

" The ride is ready! " He reported.

With a wave of my finger, I sent him off. Time to visit Alpha Dorian.

A smirk played on my lips for some second before it was replaced with a friend which faded in seconds as I remembered my twin sister's words.

" Avenge me! "

Chapter 02

* Crescent Moon Pack *

Alpha Dorian watched as the elders assemble before him and he could hear them talking among themselves silently. He was seated on his throne with his two best friends by his two sides - Beta Caddel and Omega Kaden.

" Are we gathered here for a staring competition? " Alpha Dorian finally spoke up when he was getting tired of the uncalled-for silence that erupted between him and the elders.

An elder cleared his throat to get Alpha Dorian's attention on him as he was ready to speak. " Speak up Elder Sebastian! " Alpha Dorian commanded. Elder Sebastian bowed in acknowledgment before speaking up.

" Your Highness, we elders are gathered before you concerning your marriage issue " Alpha Dorian raised his hand in the air, making him swallow the rest of his words.

Alpha Dorian readjusted his hips on the throne, sitting properly with his chest pushed forward and his brows raised at Elder Sebastian.

" Marriage issue? " He asked like he was confused and then turned to Beta Caddel. " Caddel! What marriage issue? " He asked, loud enough for everyone present in the meeting room to hear.

" Um.. it's. I don't know " Beta Caddel muttered, itching his neck. Alpha Dorian got the idea that he was lying but he averted his gaze from him anyways, returning them to Elder Sebastian.

" Go on, " Alpha Dorian said and almost immediately, he continued. " We elders had a meeting concerning the issue at hand. um, the. " He hesitated for a while but Alpha Dorian's intense gaze on him made him continue.

" The issue about your mate. " He paused briefly to study Alpha Dorian's expression but he wasn't giving any. ". I and the other elders discussed finding a solution since the rumors from the villagers keep increasing, they seem to think that their Alpha was given no mate by the moon goddess, and you know as an alpha and the leader of a pack, you need a Luna by your side.. and we elders, including everyone here.. we all know it's been 10 years since you've been on the search for your mate but you still haven't found her. " He paused briefly.

" And we elders have gotten a solution for you on getting Luna for the pack. " He hesitated for a while as he studied Alpha's Dorian expression who stared at him blankly.

" Go on, " Alpha Dorian said flatly, he was getting tired of his talks and couldn't wait for him to end so he could dismiss the meeting.

" The elders and I think that you need to have a Luna as soon as possible and we think Omega Ashina can fit in that position perfectly since rumors have it that you two were childhood lovers and till now, we know that you might still possess some sort of hidden feelings for her but you are only afraid of getting into a situation whereby, perhaps if you finally find your mate she would feel betrayed for you not staying loyal. " He paused and in no less than a second, he continued.

" But you shouldn't put that into consideration now.. think about the present and not what the future holds, and who knows, your mate might never. " He paused sharply when Alpha Dorian raised his hand abruptly in the air. He swallowed the rest of his words and gulped down into nothing as he suddenly saw Dorian's changed expression.

" You're dismissed! " Dorian said with a commanding tone, his stern gaze still fixed on Elder Sebastian. The elders glanced at themselves in confusion. " All of you! " He completed and almost immediately, they all trooped out. Alpha Dorian released a heavy breath as he leaned back against his seat, massaging his temples.

" Caddel. " He called softly and Caddel moved over to his front. " Yes, your highness " Caddel responded. " You know about this, don't you? " He asked, still retaining that soft tone. " Actually. " Caddel tried to say but he was stopped when he heard a voice in his head.

" You two can take your leave " He heard Dorian's mind link. It seems Kaden also got the mind link, he bowed lightly and turned to leave and Caddel did the same. The two walked out of the room and Dorian was left alone.

He heaved a little sigh as he leaned more comfortably on his seat, his hand massaging his temples with his eyes closed.

* At a minibar *

" Don't you think the elders are putting too much pressure on Dorian to get married? I know too well he's getting tired of everyone telling him to get married since it seems like he has no mate " Omega Kaden said to Beta Caddel as they both sat on a stool by the counter, sipping from the wine placed before them.

" I don't think it's their fault they just want a luna for the pack since they think their Alpha's mate might never appear again. It's been 10 years since he has been on the search... the villagers probably think their Alpha was destined to be mateless and the elders are trying to curtail this, if he gets married and the pack has a Luna...no one would make a fuss about this " Caddel said but Kaden scoffed.

" And they think your sister is the right one for him? " Kaden asked in a sarcastic tone.

Caddel twisted his head to Kaden's side, he had a raised brow. " And what's wrong with Ashina?.. " He asked but Kaden only released a short laugh and looked away.

"I don't think Dorian loves her like y'all think he does. He probably only llilikedrher ass childhood friend and not otherwise " Kaden said in his mind.

" I think he does " Caddel muttered.

" I don't think so.. he probably only cares for her since they were childhood friends, but him having feelings for her.. o don't think so " Kaden muttered.

" Well let's find out then "Caddel muttered and Kaden creased his brows " How? " He asked, looking at Kaden confusingly. "we are his best friends aren't we?.. let's go ask him, " Caddel said and dragged Kaden up at once.

* At The Pack House *

* Alpha Dorian's Suite *

The two friends walked into Dorian's private library as directed by one of his maids. They had gotten to his suite earlier but were later informed he was in his library and when they got there, truly he was there.

He had one old dusty book in his hands as he flipped through the pages slowly like he was looking for something important. He suddenly closed the book when he heard footsteps approaching.

" What are you two doing here? " He asked, without turning as he tried to insert the book back into its position on the shelf.

" Why are we here? Of course to see you " Kaden said with a low scoff as he sat one part of his butt on the study table next to him. Caddel sat on a chair next to him.

Dorian was finally able to fix the book, he turned to them. " Are you guys gonna talk or what? " He asked, folding his arms on his chest. " Let's go straight to the point then. It's about the marriage issue. " Dorian cut Kaden off with a scoff but he continued anyways.

" Are you gonna do what the elders want by getting married to Ashina or you're gon' to keep searching for your mate? " Kaden asked. Dorian creased his brows slightly. " What do you think I should do? " He asked.

" Um.. for me, it's your choice and what your heart wants. Do you wanna forsake your unseen mate for Ashina and do you love Ashina that much? Do you even have any sort of feelings for her? " Kaden asked in reply.

" Hmm hmm," Dorian nodded in response. He turned to Caddel. " What about you? What do you think I should do? " Dorian asked. " You can choose to marry Ashina if truly you love her which I'm sure you do and not cause the elders to want you to " Caddel muttered.

" Alright then " Was all Dorian said in reply and silence erupted for some seconds before Kaden broke it. " So.. what's your decision? " He asked. " Well, I have decided to.. "

" Sir, you have a visitor waiting in the meeting room " Dorian's chief assistant announced and the three friends glanced at each other. " Who's it? " Dorian asked.

" Luna Daciana.. "

Chapter 03

* Daciana's POV *

The only sound that could be heard was coming from the taps of my fingers against the arm of the throne I was sitting on, the throne which allegedly belonged to the Alpha of Crescent Moon Pack - Alpha Dorian.

A little smirk played on my lips for some seconds before it was replaced with a sly smile which faded off in seconds.

I raised my head a little and through the mask, I had on, I could see the almost shivering bodies of the numerous elders some inches away from where I was seated.

Dorian sure has lots of elders. " My Queen " I heard the supposedly royal advisor voice behind me and moved my face a bit to his direction and with a raised brow I'm sure he couldn't see through my masked face.

" Alpha Dorian would be with us soon" He reminded again and I only looked away without giving a reply, awaiting the so-called Alpha's arrival.

" Alpha Dorian is here " The Royal Announcer announced loud enough for everyone to hear.

Still maintaining my sitting position, I shut my eyes closed, and almost immediately, the hall's gate pushed open.

" Your Highness" I heard the elder's chorus and I pictured them bowing and making way from their Alpha.

I could feel the footsteps approaching nearer. " Her Highness " I heard Dorian's greeting and together with his accompanies voices.

I opened my eyes and they raised their heads.

They went silent for a while and I could feel him mind-linking his accompanies.

What was he asking them about? I was a bit curious, I tried to reach into his head but strangely, it wouldn't work, that's strange.

" What brought you here my queen? " Dorian's question shorten my thoughts.

" I heard about the pandemic going on around your kingdom and I came to check how your people are fairing " My voice sounded stern and without emotions.

I saw Dorian glance at the two accompanies beside him whom I have now known to be his best friends and also his Beta and Omega, but they looked away.

I raised my brows, pretending to be confused about why he seemed surprised.

" Why do you look surprised? " I asked, passing Dorian a suspicious look. " Um.. nothing " Dorian was quick to compose himself.

" Thanks for checking up on us and I assure you, I and my associates are trying our possible best to curb the pandemic as soon as possible " Dorian continued.

" Hmm hmm, I see " I replied with a nod. " I should take my leave then " Daciana continued.

" You're leaving this early? " Dorian asked, pretending to care but I could see through him, it was on a pretense.

" Of course not, I will be here for a few weeks till the pandemic is over. Alpha King Elvin sent me here " I replied as I stepped down from the throne.

The trio made way for me but I stopped right in front of Dorian. " Who's gonna lead me to my room? " I asked with a tiny smirk on my face that Dorian seemed to notice but I was quick to compose myself.

He seemed confused for a second but shrug it off anyways. " I will have some maids prepare a room for you but you could still retire in one of the guest rooms for now " Dorian replied with a little bow.

I nodded before turning my face back to its original position and with that walked away from them the elders made way for me as I walked past them with my associates behind me.

I was finally out of view and Alpha Dorian turned to everyone available in the meeting room with a loud growl." What did she mean by the pandemic!? " Dorian growled loudly that Kaden and Caddel hurriedly created a lot of distance between them.

" Answer me!! " He roared. " Say something " An elder whispered to Elder Sebastian, he was scared of what the outcome of Dorian's anger could lead to.

" I can't " Elder Sebastian whispered back. " No one is gonna talk!? Huh! " Dorian asked getting more anger. " Dorian. " Kaden tried to speak but Dorian's growl cut him off. " Alpha Dorian. " He corrected immediately.

" It's this outburst that happened just yesterday " Kaden managed to speak. " Just yesterday!!? Just yesterday! And Y'all didn't inform me about something this vital and all you people could rant to me about is getting a Luna!! Are you people even efficient with your duties!! " Dorian growled more angrily.

Kaden and Caddel shifted away from him simultaneously, this time creating a wide distance between them and Dorian.

" Answer the damn question!! " Dorian growled and this time around, his eyes switched. It turned red immediately and they all knew his anger took the best out of him and immediately they all fell to their knees begging for mercy.

" We're sorry your highness!! " The elders chorused including Caddel and Kaden.

Dorian growled more loudly trying to calm himself down. " Are there any deaths?" He asked, his voice still sounding rough. " None your highness! The disease only seems to weaken its victims and cause them loss of appetite, that's all your Highness " Caddel responded fastly.

That seemed to do the job as he calmed down immediately and his eyes switched back to normal. One top priority of Alpha Dorian is his people's welfare.

" You all can leave! " He commanded and hurriedly they all got on their feet and hurried out. " Except you two! " Dorian growled, Kaden and Caddel stopped in their tracks immediately.

" Come with me! " Dorian said as he headed to the entrance and the duo followed behind. They headed straight to Dorian's lounge.

I came out from my hiding spot and I let out a smirk on my pretty face. " Keep tabs on them, " I said. " Yes, your Highness, " My chief guard said beside m,e and with this, we both disappeared into the darkness.

** Dorian's Lounge **

" Dorian we are. " Caddel tried to speak but paused when Dorian walked away, deeper into his suite.

" We should have told him beforehand " Kaden whispered to Caddel. " Yeah. I just didn't think it was that serious. I mean it's not like it's a pandemic like Luna Daciana claimed. It's just a random illness that happened to a family, why is she making a fuss out of it? " Caddel muttered, his hand brushing his hair backward.

" And how's she making a fuss? " Kaden asked. " How else? Why would she claim she's here till the illness is curbed she made it sound like it was vital and it could lead to deaths " Caddel replied with a scoff and at that moment Dorian walked in.

" You also find it weird, don't you? " He asked as his hands crawled up to the buttons on his shirt and he began to undo them. " Huh? "

" Conri ( his chief assistant ) mind linked me just some minutes ago and gave me some info about the illness. It's not that deadly, it's just a rare disease that only affected a family in the outer part of the village. But why does Luna Daciana seem to make it sound like it's a deadly disease? She even talked about staying over till it's curbed, it's weird, isn't it? " Dorian asked, finally done unbuttoning the buttons and he removed the shirt from his body, leaving him shirtless. He grabbed another shirt from a hanger and put it on.

" Yeah.. but she's weird too, isn't she? All my life, I have never seen her take off her mask " Kaden muttered.

"Weirdly, Alpha King Elvin decided to send her here instead of some other officials " Caddel muttered with a suspicious look on.

" Do you think she has a purpose for coming here? " Kaden asked Dorian.

Dorian let out a little scoff. " We need to be a vigilante. I would inform her tomorrow that the disease isn't as deadly as she thinks it is and if she refuses to leave, then something is wrong " Dorian spoke his last words and with that, walked out of sight.

The duo glanced at themselves. " We need someone to spy on her. I seriously think something's wrong " Kaden muttered.

" Do you think it's someone else and not Luna Daciana? I mean, it could be a witch from the enemy clan pretending to be Luna Daciana. " Caddel asked passing Kaden a knowing look and Kaden nodded, confirming his thoughts.

" Conri should be in charge of that " Kaden muttered as they both walked out of Dorian's Suite, heading straight to their respective suites.

I shut down the view from where I was watching and the water returned to its normal position. I smirked as Dolph( my chief guard) appeared behind me.

" What should I do my queen? " He asked.

"Resume spying on them, report their every movement to me.. leave the rest to me, " I said and Dolph bowed again. " Yes, my queen," He said and exited the room almost immediately.

I let out a sly smile which was replaced immediately with a deep frown. It was replaced with an evil smirk immediately as I watched from the window, Dorian walking out of the Palace with his chief assistant.

I zoomed in on my hearing them and I could hear their conversations.

" Ensure you deliver the message directly to the Alpha King " Dorian ordered. " Yes My Lord " The guard replied with a bow and in a flash, superspeed off.

Dorian was almost walking back in but he suddenly raised his head to my suite window side but he saw no one.

He must have felt someone's eyes on him but he thought it was no one, he shrugged it off and proceeded inside.

I appeared again by the window side and let out an evil smirk.

" You're gonna pay Dorian.. you will pay. " I mumbled hatefully as I shut down the curtains.
